Welcome to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr. Along with my brother Rick, we examine current events in the light of God's prophetic word. Each week, as you realize, when we do the program, we are focusing on the nations of Bible prophecy and the leaders of those nations that God is using to accomplish his will. This week, Ken Timmerman will cover geopolitical issues and what President Trump is trying to do with Iran, and that pertains to Ezekiel 38 and the war of Gog and Magog.

David Dolan will speak to us about what's taking place in Israel and anti-Semitism continues to rear its ugly head. As a matter of fact, this week we have two Friends of Israel missionaries, one a pastor in Jerusalem, and Paul Scharf, who has written a blog on what is so easy to miss about Israel. We've got a lot to cover on the program today, and of course, Dr. Jimmy DeYoung and the Legacy Series will be in the third half of the program. Rick, let's get going.

We've got a lot to cover.

Well, that's right, Jimmy. I have Ken Timmerman with us. He's a frequent guest on the program. He's an author and an analyst and expert in geopolitical affairs. Ken, thanks for being with us today.

Thanks for having me on, Rick. It's always a pleasure.

Well, Ken, another week of negotiations between President Trump and Iran. Could you give us an update this week?

Well, I've got to say, President Trump's patience is absolutely extraordinary. Nobody I know would have so much patience with the Iranians. But as he's been saying, we hold all the cards. On Friday, the President said that the U.S. and Iran were close to a deal, but Vice President Vance said the day before that the nuclear parts of it were still not resolved and hadn't been, were not part of this protocol.

Look, we've heard a general outline of a deal where the Iranians will gradually open the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days. The mines are to be removed. Iran will be allowed to sell their oil. Iran pledges no nuclear weapons. By the way, that remains to be seen.

And then there's going to be a sixty-day ceasefire during which we will discuss all the other stuff like their nuclear program, sanctions relief, and humanitarian Aid. The Iranians are also claiming that the deal includes an end to the Israel-Hezbollah war. I'll believe that when I see it. Look, I think there's so many issues that have to be resolved, and the Iranians are still singing death to America. Mustabah Khamenei, the supreme leader, denounced U.S.

influence in the Middle East this week and said any deal with America would mean an end to the U.S. presence in the Persian Gulf and no bases, no basing agreements for the United States with any Persian Gulf region country. I mean, these are Iranian demands, and you can say, well, they're just doing this for domestic consumption. That is not true. They are definitely doing it for domestic consumption, but they also believe it.

You had the Speaker of the Parliament, Haliba, this week, just making extraordinary Chest-thumping statements on Friday, he tweeted out: we get concessions not through talks, but through missiles. In negotiations, we only clarify them. That's a direct quote from Kaliba, the moderate, as Trump says, that he's negotiating with.

So we're going to see, Rick. But the way that I've looked at the Iranians for 47 years, they're just up to their old tricks: delay, lie, and cheat. We're having to face their propaganda and their provocations, whether it's drone attacks or missile attacks. I am not sure this deal is going to happen. And I got to say, a big wild card was also dropped on Friday when we learned that Steve Witcoff.

the President's real estate buddy and negotiator apparently offered the Iranians a three hundred billion dollar international investment fund for Iran, including Tehran real estate projects. I mean What? $300 billion. The Iranians have been demanding war reparations, and so they get them. I mean, I think there's a lot of things that really need to be clarified.

The President has reassured us. Consistently. That he would take no deal instead of a bad deal. But when I hear a $300 billion international investment fund for Iran under this regime, that is a horrible deal.

Well, it certainly is, Ken. And like you said, the President has repeatedly said he will not take a bad deal, but there are many people that are concerned: people in Israel, people here. You've spent years studying Iran. You understand that part of the world. You have a book, The Iran House, Tales of Revolution, Persecution, War and Intrigue, out about Iran.

I believe you have more books coming as well. If you were advising this President, what does he need to worry about when it comes to agreeing to a deal? Cheat and retreat, which is what the Iranians do. They use ceasefires as a tactical pause to rearm and rebuild. And we have to have our eyes on them.

There have been reports that they have, in fact, been reopening some of their buried missile bases, their storage bases and launch sites during this latest ceasefire. They want a 60-day ceasefire, probably to do more of the same. I happen to think that this deal is going to collapse. I don't think the Iranians can actually push themselves to agree. To give up their nuclear weapons.

And by the way, we've talked extensively about what President Trump calls the nuclear dust, the 450 kilograms of highly enriched uranium. This is weapons-grade uranium, basically. But they also have another. 900 kilograms, that's 18,000, almost 20,000 pounds of low-enriched uranium. And most people don't realize this, but when you enrich uranium up to three And a half percent, which is what you use in a nuclear power reactor, that is 70% of the enrichment work.

To get to weapons grade. The Iranians also have 20% uranium. 20% uranium is 90% of the work to weapons grade, and they've got 9,000 kilograms of this stuff.

So there is an awful lot of work to be done. I don't think the Iranians are ready to give all this stuff up, but we'll have to see.

Well, Ken, we will have to wait and see what happens there. But uh during the week President Trump linked these talks to the Abraham Accords. Very interesting the way he did that. Can you tell us about that? He did, and I think the Saudis were completely shocked at it.

But Trump said they owe it to us. He even said at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday, he said, you know. We might not make a deal if the Saudis and the Qataris and the others don't join the Abraham Accords. Look, this is part of the President's broader strategy. He wants to see a completely changed Middle East.

He wants to see the Arab world at peace with Israel. He wants to see joint development projects which have already started off with other signatories of the Abraham Accords, Bahrain, Morocco, the UAE, for example.

So this is really important to the President. I think, Rick, look, the Hajj ended on Friday.

Okay, that was the end of the five-day annual pilgrimage to Mecca. The Saudis didn't want anything happening. They've got a million visitors to their country. They want to get them out of the country before anything else happens. My guess, this is me, but my guess is Act Three of this war is what we're seeing right now.

It's the deal-making or the deal-breaking. I think Act Three is going to collapse and go into Act IV, which is the resumption of kinetic actions. It will be very brutal. Very violent. But it will also be brief, and I think it will lead to the collapse of the Revolutionary Guard.

And then we come to Act V of the war, which is the national uprising with U. S. and Israeli overwatch. I think that's where we're headed. There are armories full of weapons all around the country.

All we need to do is to help Iranian patriots on the ground seize control of those armories, and they're on their way.

Well, that certainly would be a desired outcome, Ken. We'll have to wait and see what happens there. But let's move away from the Middle East and to the Russia Ukraine crisis. And it seemed like NATO has its hands full as drones struck buildings in Romania and ships near Turkey.

Well, NATO is getting the jitters over Donald Trump's redeployment scheme. We're pulling troops out of Germany and putting other troops into Poland. And we're probably going to pull out of Spain and some of those air bases that we've got there because the Spanish have given us no help in NATO. And so they've got the jitters over the Russians and the Russian war. They're trying to make us believe that Putin is about to invade the Baltics or Finland.

We've talked about this many times, Rick, and the Europeans just keep on doing it. It's pure bravo sierra. Putin can't even lick a fourth-rate army in Europe, which is Ukraine, and he's going to attack the rest of NATO. I just don't think that's going to happen. What happened on Friday was a Russian drone crashed into an apartment building in Romania.

The Europeans claim it was a provocation. This was an accident of war. These things happen all the time. The tit-for-tat drone attacks against shipping are very different. There he had the Ukrainians hitting three Russian tankers off the shore.

Shores of Turkey, and the Russians responding by taking out a Ukrainian cargo ship near Odessa that was on en route to Turkey. That's a very, very different thing. Those are tit-for-tat attacks, but this uh drone in Romania was an accident. Ken, last week you let us know that you thought that President Putin might realize that this war needs to come to an end because he is losing support. Is that the way you still see it?

The European foreign policy chief, another hawk on the war, Kaya Kalas, former Prime Minister of Estonia, she said on Thursday, Russia is on its back foot. And I'm rather glad to have heard her say that because she has been one of those people in the European Union trying to press Ukraine on, get them to attack more, to give them more weapons. She's been warning about this Russia threat.

So she thinks that Russia's on its back foot. This is what I said last week. I said that the Ukrainian attacks deep into Russian territory, not just Moscow, but taking out their oil fields, their oil refineries, their oil export terminals. This is really costing the Russians a lot. lot a lot of economic damage to them so i think you know putin is getting ready you had these massive russian strikes on kiev during the week but i think this was I don't want to call it a parting shot, but I think it was Putin saying, Look, okay, we're getting close to negotiations, but I'm warning you, if those negotiations don't take place on positive terms, I'm going to still do damage to you.

Ken Timmerman for Prophecy Today. Ken, as always, we appreciate you keeping us informed. Again, for our listeners who would like to find out more about you, they can go to your website, ken Timmerman.com. They can sign up for your newsletter, see the books that you have written. Ken, thanks so much.

Look forward to talking to you again soon. Thanks so much, Rick. It's always a blessing. Ken Timmerman, great job as always, Ken. And let me remind you, again, we're studying the nations of Bible prophecy from Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11, and Psalm 83.

And this week we see how all of those nations and the leaders are playing a part. In fulfilling and bringing us to the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Well, we've got to take a break, and when we come back, David Dolan will give us his Middle East News Update Report on what's taking place in the land of Israel, as that is so very important each week as we follow and study current events of Bible prophecy. Right here on Prophecy Today weekend. I'm Ruth Kramer with Mission Network News. Negotiations between Iran and the United States are playing out like a high-stakes staring contest. Both nations are looking at a draft peace proposal, but each side believes it has leverage.

Transform Iran's Lana Silk says: What we have here is an American side who wants to believe Iran is weakened enough militarily and economically to be more amenable to concessions, and an Iranian side who wants to believe they have enough leverage through their control of the Strait of Homoz and the U.S. resistance to full-scale war to come out of this with their pride and their objectives intact. But it's a risky game on both sides. For Iranians suffering under the Ayatollah, the future is uncertain. Yet Silk reminds us that God is sovereign.

Pray for freedom and peace. And exact statistics are hard to come by, but up to 98% of the global deaf population is without gospel access. Door International trains deaf Christians and sends them out in pairs to reach deaf communities. One believer is gifted in evangelism, while the other excels at teaching. Speaking to a female interpreter, deaf leader Alan O'Rozco says that when an evangelist shares Christ and deaf people show interest, we begin a chronological Bible study.

In the chronological Bible teaching approach, these two workers see some being saved in the community and continuing in that journey of discipleship with them, teaching and training. Door currently has 40 deaf teams trained and deployed worldwide.

Meanwhile, millions of deaf individuals wait for gospel access. Pray the Lord will connect deaf Christians with deaf people who need to know Jesus. Well, this is the portion of our program. We call it our Middle East News Update. We look at news coming out of the Middle East in general, but Israel in particular. To do that, we have journalist Dave Dolan with us. Dave, thanks so much for being with us today.

It's always good to be with you, Rick.

Well Dave never a shortage of news coming out of the Middle East. Can you give us the latest this week? That's for sure. Uh the war in Lebanon. continues to escalate even further, to heat up even further with Israel during the week, resuming bombing in South Beirut, where the Hezbollah headquarters are and the Shiite militia's main offices, everything is there.

They also expanded their campaign into Sidon and Tyre. to large coastal cities where Hezbollah has a bases and operatives And they announced on Friday, yesterday, the Prime Minister actually went to the northern border with the Chief of Staff and other. officials and met with the commanders up there, et cetera. And he formalized that they had expanded to the Zahrani River.

Now that is. north of the Latani River that we hear about in the news all the time, that the Israelis have gone up to the Latani and taken that area in between. And it's often reported in the news Rick that there's about An eight to nine mile buffer between the Israeli border and the Latani, but that's not true all across South Lebanon. When it gets the river flows towards Metullah, the north of Israel, it's only about half a mile away, Rick.

So it's very close. And the main reason for that, Rick, is that Hezbollah has acquired these new drones that I've spoken about, these fiber optic drones that actually have a wire. They're attached to a wire that can go about twenty miles. and it's guided by an actual person looking at a camera on the drone. In other words, they can change direction at the last minute.

They can pick a target as they see something. If they see a cluster of Israeli soldiers, they can just turn and go and hit it.

So they're very unpredictable, very deadly, and we did have more Israeli casualties up there this week, including a. A well-loved female soldier that was part of a A humanitarian army unit, basically, that was killed by one of these drones.

So they're trying to keep them out of Kiryat Shmona. City in the north, and the other cities that are within reach of that 20-mile course.

So they're pushing up further north. But of course, Hezbollah screaming bloody murder over that. The Lebanese government did go forward with a meeting in Washington on Friday. Rick, the Israeli ambassador and the Lebanese ambassador met at the State Department, and there were some military leaders from both sides involved in those talks. But again, Hezbollah has never claimed to be a part of any ceasefire.

They are the ones that resumed the attacks on Israel after the IDF and America struck. Iran, february twenty eighth, they resumed the attacks on the north. Israel had asked them for several days not to do that, and they did. And so the war goes on. The Lebanese officials said that 600 or so Lebanese have been killed so far in the action.

And they say 10% are women or children, but I have to point out, Rick, that most of those 600 are Hezbollah fighters. They never mention that, just like Gaza, they never say Hamas fighters were killed, but just the people were killed. And of course, as with Hamas, Hezbollah hides within its civilian population. And has headquarters under mosques and different things, and in their homes.

So you are going to have.

some of their women and children sadly. a kill, but it's not as if the average Lebanese citizen is is undergoing this. And by the way, Rick, on Friday, the IDF released a video showing Hezbollah Ladrone attacking the Saint George's Maronite Catholic Church. in Marjayun.

Now that's a city in the south of Lebanon that I worked in. It's a Christian town mainly, and it attacked the church directly, clearly guided towards it by one of these laser drones.

So it's a situation up there. In Gazarik, we had more action during the week. We had so another senior Hamas terrorist leader was killed. commander. We had some other clashes there.

And of course, all week Israel watching the situation to the east. with the pilots on edge. on full alert that they would uh possibly get orders at any time to go into action against Iran again. And in the meantime, Rick, they have enough to take care of in Lebanon. But as I mentioned last week, the prevailing view in Israel, just summarizing the media reports and comments from various politicians and et cetera, is that Israel wants to see the job finished.

Wants to see the regime so weakened that it's out of power, and that that is really the only thing that will guarantee the end of Hezbollah, Hamas, and the other things. And of course, peace in the greater region as well. But they're not real optimistic about that, Rick. And when on Friday, the President said he was meeting in the Situation Room with top officials to make a final decision, at the end of which the New York Times reported no decision was reached, but something could still happen over the weekend. But meanwhile, the lead negotiator on the Iranian side, the Speaker of Parliament, issued a tweet on X, I guess.

And he said, we seize concessions not through dialogue, but with missiles. In negotiations, we merely make them. the U.S. understand. He added, the winner of any agreement is the one who is better prepared for war.

From the day after. Any agreement is agreed to. And of course, Rick, it's only a memorandum of understanding that's being negotiated, just a broad, short outline of what they may. further negotiate later on, including the nuclear issue and all of that. The Israelis frankly feel the consensus seems to be that it's a waste of time and that Iran is just using that time to produce more missiles and more drones and get ready for the day after, as he said.

Well, David, as we look at the report that you give us, we see what is taking place in the north. We talk about Gaza. We talk about the situation in Iran. And all these things are coming together. One thing I want for you to point out to our listeners is the fact that many here in the United States, politicians, uh some media personalities are characterizing the situation in the North as a quote unquote land grab For Israel, but as you look at this situation, they are just looking for a way to keep their cities safe in the north, aren't they?

Well, absolutely. I mean, Rick, again, it's just like I mentioned at the beginning of the Gaza. situation after the massacre october seventh. that when the Israelis left, Gaza in two thousand and five, they didn't say Lahitra Oat, which is Hebrew for see you later. They said, bye-bye, goodbye.

This is it. We're out of here. It's your place now. You have control. If you behave and this was when, of course, the Palestinian Authority was in charge before Hamas kicked them out a year and a half later.

You remain peaceful, we'll remain peaceful. We don't want your lad. The same is true in Lebanon. When they left in two thousand, I covered it. I was there as I covered the two thousand five withdrawal five years later from Gaza.

They didn't say, see you later. They said, that's it. We're gone. We're out of here. There was great relief After eighteen years of conflict up there, the last place they wanted to go back into.

was there, but there's this little group called Hezbollah. And it's not little. Like I've said, the the largest military in Lebanon is not the Lebanese Army, but Hezbollah. It's got this major sponsor that's been feeding it weapons and and terrorist training and on and on for all these years. And they, like the Iranian regime, have one goal, and that is to fight their jihad until they prevail all over the world, until the twelfth Imam comes and until the Jews and the Christians are decimated and not able to resist their plans and actions.

So when they say we want the U. S. out of the Middle East, they mean it. When they say we want Israel destroyed or plan to do that, they mean it. And the Israelis, I would say, deeply understand that.

And Hopefully in Washington, the decision makers will also understand that that's actually who they're dealing with here. David, in the minute that we have left this just underlies the fact that there is a spiritual and a prophetic perspective to what is taking place in the Middle East right now, doesn't it?

Well, absolutely. And as we've talked about before, Bible makes very clear from Genesis chapter 1 and 2: that there's an enemy of God, Hasatan, that he's vile and evil. that he deceives that he fights against God and his forces and his angels all the time throughout history and will do until the very, very end. And all the signs are surely screaming right now that we're nearing that end, nearing the final prophesied events of Scripture. And of course, at the very end, not only does the Lord returns, but he returns and vanquishes and seals the devil away from humanity and his cohorts with him.

So that's the good news, and that's our hope as we watch the situation a very tense situation, uh deteriorate even further. Dave Dolan, reporting on not only the political but the prophetic as well. Dave, as always, we appreciate your insight. Thanks so much. Look forward to talking to you again soon.

Glad to do it, Rick. God bless. Great job, David. And one thing that I want to point out is the fact that you said that this conflict is going to continue. And that's what the Word of God says: this conflict will continue until the very end until Christ returns to the earth.

We've got to take a break when we come back. We'll hear from Pastor Mino Kalosh here in Jerusalem, right here on Prophecy Today. weekend. The flood and coming judgment. This is Ken Ham inviting you to have an encounter with God's Word at Arc Encounter.

Okay. Jesus said his coming judgment would be like that in the days of Noah. people would be eating and drinking, not realizing judgment was around the corner. It's interesting that Jesus compares his coming judgment to the flood of Noah's Day. Many Christians today say this flood was just a local flood.

But what does this say about the coming judgment? Is Jesus only going to judge people living in a certain area? Of course not. The Bible's clear. Everyone will be judged.

Just as the past judgment on Noah's evil world was global, so will this coming judgment be. But God has provided an ark of salvation for us today. That is Jesus. Learn more about visiting the family-friendly ARC Encounter when you go to AnswersRadio.com. Kids visit free.

Go to AnswersRadio.com. Welcome back to Prophecy Today. Rick, I'm really excited about talking with Meno Kalash here. Let's get right into it.

Well, that's right, Jimmy. I have a good friend of both yours and mine. In fact, a good friend of our families, Menno Kalashir, the pastor of the Assembly at Jerusalem, K. Elah, Yerushalayim. Meno, thanks for being with us today.

It's a joy. Thank you, Rick. It's great to hear your voice, and we know many of our listeners love to hear your voice and love to get updates. And so that's where I want to start. First of all, I want to ask you about a few things involving Bible prophecy and maybe even just a little bit about the situation in Israel.

But the first thing I want to do is find out how the church there in Jerusalem is doing. If you could give us an update during this time of turmoil, how many things are happening? How is the church doing?

Well, if you want a politically correct answer, we are doing very well, but I will be a liar. The issue is, I'll be very honest, it's not easy. Again, we have our food. It's not that we're missing any lunch, dinner, or breakfast. We're living in our homes and so on.

But the pressure And the tense. is immense. Um our children are in the front. And that's correct not only to my own family, but to the entire body of Christ in that sense. Uh people are doing reserve duty.

Twice a year. It's hard to believe. Twice a year. My daughter is already 800 year days, 800 days in reserve duty since. October 7, 2023, a mother with two kids.

My son, husband of five kids. finished already eleven months in reserve duty. And right now, he is on vacation in Switzerland, a donation from a Christian organization who understand that many soldiers are finishing the war with post trauma and allow them to have a vacation with their families outside Israel. And that's exactly what he's doing. But upon arrival, he just received another letter from his battalion that on the first of July, he's going to start another ninety that means three months of reserve duty in Lebanon.

Absolutely tourism resort, as you understand.

So, really, that's our life. And uh as parents, what do you want me to tell you, that we enjoy it? We are on our knees, we are literally on our knees, God's. Those are your children. We beg before you to bless them.

More than that, many of these people are the core and the I call it. Are the pillars of the church, deacons, elders, all in the front? And we just beg the Lord to bless us that all of them will return back, and twenty years of discipleship and spiritual growth. Will not be dismissed b because of a bullet in the border. Men O'Kallas here talking to us from his home in Jerusalem, Israel.

And Men, I appreciate the heartfelt response there, and our prayers go out to you. And maybe just let me follow up on this thought just a little bit. You are on the front lines. You are there. You're not only a pastor of a church, but and I know you're not a politician.

I know you don't want to give us a political answer, but you're a pastor. You're a father, even more so as you tell us about your kids and how they are having to serve and to go through this. You were a former soldier yourself. You know the situation with Iran, what they're committed to doing to the nation of Israel. Give us maybe your thoughts on the view.

I know Israel is going through a lot. You're going through a lot. The church community there is going through a lot. Is this important? Is this worth it?

Is this what Israel should be doing?

Well, let's put it that way. When you have an enemy, you cannot just allow it to continue and just allow them to try to see how they can destroy you.

So Israel does not have any chance, but to fight back. And you need to understand that this war is a spiritual war, is war between religions. If they will follow their religion, Islam. They are commanded commanded to annihilate Israel. People need to understand it.

It's not a war between Germany and Switzerland, where, in the bottom line, both of them are Christians, and they will come to a sense. and decide on a political agreement. We are talking about two groups. that one of them is commended to annihilate the other one in all costs. And this regime wants the nuclear bomb.

Not necessarily just to annihilate Israel, but to make sure that they will survive, that no one will dare to attack them.

So, in a sense, for Israel to come and to Press all her allies, guys, let's do it together to not allow them to have this weapon, is not only for Israel. But it's also for America. And people need to understand. They will start with the Saturdays, Jews, and And the Sundays are the reser the desserts.

So don't think that you can just be outside away in a continent six thousand miles away or kilometers away and you're out of the game. No, no, no. Everyone is in the game. It's a spiritual war, global spiritual spiritual war, and Israel is in the center.

So, first of all, thank God for America. Thank God for other allies who are together. have the same mind. I just hope that it will be based biblically and not just stop when the price will be higher. Mano, I know this is a political question, and so you can answer it however you want, but you see these negotiations that are going on right now, and you see that maybe.

There's a chance that this war stops while the regime is still in control. Certainly, they've been weakened by both the attacks from the United States and from Israel. But your thoughts on these negotiations?

Well, I I would love to say something, but I Do not want to risk myself saying something maybe too fast. What we are looking right now and very sensitive is to see leadership that is Similar, I cannot say one-to-one. But similar To what the Bible says about end times, the times when Antichrist will rise. When nations will come together, and we are maybe going to see. and uh confirming a covenant with many.

All dead. The details, all the information around the table looks like ready.

So, I do not want to jump to conclusion and to name a person as possible Antichrist or whatever. All I'm saying we're living in an era where. We see samples of what the Bible is talking about in Daniel chapter nine, in Revelation chapter thirteen, and so on.

So Christians, when we see things like this, when we see all these signs around us, First of all, we need to be aware. We are in the end times and Christ is near. What really comforts my heart is to know that if I see these signs, around me How much more I know that the rapture and the go God calling his church to go to himself is nearer. And what that affects on me is Are my hands clear before him right now? Am I ready to see his face right now in this very moment?

That's what stands on my table. You have a front row view there to essentially Bible prophecy coming together.

Now, you know, we look at it, you see all these signs coming into place. Another sign that I would like to talk to you about, it affects the nation of Israel, and it's just growing around the world is anti-Semitism, this attack on the Jewish people. It kind of has no basis in common sense as we look at this, but we do see that it's a spiritual battle, and we see this rise in anti-Semitism. I'm sure you've noticed that as well. Indeed.

Some time ago I needed to prepare a lesson on Replacement theology. And the rise of replacement or the history of it, how it started. And basically, replacement theology is based on two major pillars. One of them is the hatred between Rabbinical Judaism, and the first church in the first and second century. The second Is the fact that Israel was sent to the diaspora and there was no prophet like Jeremiah to say it's only for seventy years.

So when it was long and no profit to set the time how long this exile will be, it was easy for the pastors of the first century, second century, third century church leaders to conclude that God divorced Israel. Mm-hmm.

Well, the Bible does not support it. but they allowed temporary reality to decide theology. And that was wrong.

So two things. One of them, hatred between the two groups. Two, temporary reality that they consider to be eternal and that's it. Two thousand years almost passed, and nineteen forty eight. Israel became a state.

Original Jews, real Jews, yes, yes, they are descendants of Abam, Isaac, and Jacob. Return back to their Homeland, the initial borders, not allegorical borders, the real Canaan, the real promised land that God gave. still as non-believers. To their land with the same language, the same people.

Okay. So One of the two pillars is dismissed: the exile. One is left, hatred. Brother Rick. Replacement theology was based on two things.

Hatred and temporary reality. Temporal reality finished. Guess what is left? Hatred. Thank you.

What's new? Menno Kalish here, the pastor at the Church of the Assembly at Jerusalem. Menno, you're a good friend of our families. We love you. We love you and your wife, Anat, and we love your whole family.

We are praying for you. Thank you so much for coming on today and just so passionately sharing the truth that we all need to hear. And again, just don't forget that we're praying for you. We love you. And we look forward to talking to you again soon.

Thank you. Anna told me to be sure to send her love to you and the family.

Well, Minnow Kaloshir is a great friend of ours. I've known Minnow for many years. I even worked with him in the ministry at the start of the church in Jerusalem. In fact, I knew him way back before he married his wife Anat. As we're thinking about this, and as I said at the outset of the program today, we're going to focus on anti-Semitism, not only in Israel, but also in the United States and around the world, really.

I mean, everywhere we turn, it seems that Israel is in the news and often in a negative light, as we have all witnessed. It seems like everybody's focusing that Israel is a problem. And some celebrated commentators have come nefariously close to laying all the world's problems at the feet of the Jewish people. This is becoming a common allegation in our day, and it's something that we need to focus on. Others take a contradictory approach and question whether there are any true Israelites left, promoting the fantasy that charlatans have replaced them in an endeavor.

To execute one of the greatest frauds in history. And I've been in Israel for almost 40 years, and I could tell you that charlatans have not replaced. The Jewish people. Then there are those who maintain that the real problem is our concern for what they believe to be the imaginary issue of anti-Semitism. The actual Jewish people.

They assure us, do not deserve our sympathy.

Well, I thought after we had Meno Kalash here, I wanted to get Friends of Israel missionary ministry leader Paul Scharf on the program. Paul, welcome to the program. Thank you, Jimmy. Great to be back with you. Paul, the reason I wanted to get you on the program today is because you've written a blog for Friends of Israel, and that's FOI.org.

You can go there and see this. What is so easy to miss about Israel? And you address.

Some of the denominations and some of the people, you know, within many of these groups, naturally they subscribe to replacement theology, the ancient teaching, prominent in Roman Catholicism, as well as large swathes of Protestant churches and evangelical churches. That's the church has replaced Israel and God's plan. Talk to us about that.

Well, thank you, Jimmy. It's an honor to be with you today to talk about this new blog I've written called What is So Easy to Miss About Israel? And that's what we're referring to here. And many, of course, in all the back and forth and all the controversy that seems to be swirling around us today, especially about. Israel, the people of Israel, the Jewish people, and how we should relate to them.

I think there's something missing we're going to talk about here that we as Bible believers, as those who understand Bible prophecy, can add to the conversation and enlighten people with a truth from scripture that helps us certainly make. better understanding of these things, but Many that would not get that, as you said, subscribe to what's been called replacement theology. They may not like that term, that title for it. A fancier word for it throughout church history is supersessionism. But in either case, it's really the same idea, it's that the church.

in that view, replaces or supersedes Israel. And really, promises that God gave to Israel, especially through Abraham, for land and seed and blessing that they would inherit and enjoy forever. Those promises, in other words, they become spiritualized and they're given to the church. rather than Israel. And so Israel Um no longer looks forward to those actual physical blessings.

But that instead, the church is to receive them in a spiritual sense, and the church becomes the newer spiritual Israel. And that's really at the heart of replacement theology, which is really at the center. Of so much of the conversation that's swirling about us right now. Yes, and Paul, and I, to be fair, Most of these pastors and people were taught that way by their professors in their school of learning, wherever they, whatever theology or seminary they went to, they were taught that way. And it's just something that they have learned.

It's basically a misunderstanding or misappropriating scripture, right? It's really a hermeneutical problem.

Well, right. I I think that our understanding, we believe, is based in a literal interpretation. And building the New Testament upon the literal understanding of the Old Testament, which obviously comes first the Hebrew Scriptures, which make very clear, unconditional, in fact, promises. To the people of Israel, especially in the covenants that God gave to Abram. Abraham and his descendants and Later, a covenant that God made with King David, of course, in 2 Samuel 7, and a covenant that God gave through the prophet Jeremiah in chapter 31, the new covenant.

And these kinds of promises talk about eternal blessings, very literal, real physical blessings for the people of Israel. Which God is going to give them the promised land. And the nation will endure as a people and they will enjoy God's blessing and be the center of the spiritual world under God, even though at this time, and here's what so many are missing. Right now, many are tripped up by the fact that Israel currently doesn't look like that. We understand that, Jimmy, right?

They are for a time temporarily and partially In blindness. that is a spiritual blindness or hardness. And Romans eleven twenty five tells us That is the case, just as the Hebrew prophets had told us that would be the case. That God would be bringing the people of Israel through a time of chastening for their unbelief. The fact is, though, that that unbelief is not going to last forever.

They are going to return it. one time in the future and all Israel will be saved. And that's from Romans eleven, twenty five and twenty six specifically. as we've talked about before, Jimmy. That Israel's blindness only continues, thankfully, until the fullness of the Gentiles.

Has come in. Here's a phrase I want you to explain to us, Paul. Christian nationalism. What does that mean? And are we not Christian nationalist?

Well, Jimmy, that's a confusing term to many people. It's kind of a A difficult movement for us to wrap our arms around because it includes a lot of different ideas from a lot of different people. And the first time we hear it, we might think: well, we're Christians, and we're certainly nationalists, we're not globalists, so maybe we're Christian nationalists. But what we find among many people within that movement is again another form of replacement theology. And this time uh some would emphasize not so much the church replacing Israel, which at least we could understand the dynamics of that from Scripture, even though we disagree that that is the true understanding of based on a literal interpretation.

But within Christian nationalism, there'd be often more of the view that America replaces Israel. And of course, this is something that really goes back to the foundation of our country to some degree. that there's this new land that uh has Uh in essence. Come into being by the hand of God and to enjoy the covenant blessings and promises that God gave to Israel. in one way or another.

And we understand Obviously, Jimmy, based again on literal interpretation of the scriptures, that America is definitely not Israel. And America is not going to be fulfilling the plan of God, the mission that He gave to Israel, the promises that He gave, the covenants that He gave to Israel. Those things are for Israel, not America. America is not the kingdom. And we will not bring in the kingdom to this world and Christ, when he rules and reigns, will be doing so from Jerusalem, not from America.

And so that's really a very subtle form, a different version of replacement theology that Also trips many up, I think, in our day. Yes. You know, as we're talking about this, Paul, Israel's unbelief is prophesied. And we understand that, and it's not a surprise, but we understand from scripture that, and this is really the reason that they're going through the trouble that they are now because they disobey God. They turn their hearts away from Him.

Talk to us a little bit about that.

Well, this is what I think so many miss, Jimmy. And if we understand and grasp these truths, it helps us to make sense of all these things. It's what's so easy to miss about Israel, what so many are missing about Israel, as you just said. Yes, they are a people today. largely in unbelief.

But that does not mean that they will not be the nation through which the kingdom comes, that they are not still in the plan of God to receive all the covenant promises that he has made to them. Yes, they are right now, partially. and temporarily in unbelief. And this is what even their own Hebrew prophets said would be the case, Ezekiel. thirty six and thirty seven, those wonderful passages, chapter thirty seven, the the vision of the valley of dry bones.

When we read those chapters carefully, we find Israel Is going to have a two-phase return. They are going to come back first to the land in unbelief. And have we not seen that for over a century now? The people of Israel returning to the land. In unbelief To be chastened.

And of course, the height of that will be the coming tribulation when God will use the events of the tribulation. To bring the nation of Israel finally and fully back in belief. and then to be blest in the kingdom. And when they come back in belief, it will be complete and permanent. And they will return to their Messiah.

In that belief, and they will return to their land forever for it to be the center of the world, the capital city for the Messiah to reign. But they must first Come through. The chastening of the tribulation. to come to that place of belief. that that they will receive in the future And these chapters tell us clearly That um They will first return in unbelief and have to be back in the land in unbelief.

And of course, you and I know also, Jimmy, from Daniel chapter 9:27. They have to be back. Reconstituted as a nation in the land in unbelief. For the tribulation to begin after the rapture. And so we're seeing the setting of the stage for that right now.

We put those pieces together, it all makes sense. And we're not startled by the fact that Right now, in part and temporarily, they are there in unbelief. Yes. Israel's spiritual revival is still to come. And you talk about that from the prophet Zachariah warned us of a day in the future Tribulation when there would be global opposition to Israel.

And in that last half of the tribulation period, Jesus Christ will return to the earth and regather those, and Israel will be saved in a day. Talk to me a little bit about that. Yes, Jimmy, Zechariah 12.10, of course a wonderful verse. Where the Lord promises, I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and supplication. Then they will look on me whom they pierced yes, they will mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for him as one grieves for a firstborn.

And this is in the wonderful context of Zechariah, as you mentioned, chapter twelve, thirteen, fourteen, which describes so beautifully the return of the Lord. And I believe that some perhaps will be only at that very last available millisecond of time. They'll look in faith. And receive their Messiah. And this again ties to what we've been saying, Jimmy, because the Apostle John.

As he's describing events of the tribulation, uh we move all the way to the midpoint to three and a half years of the tribulation. In Revelation eleven, verse eight, and John is talking about the two witnesses after they're killed and rise from the dead. And he says that even at that time, halfway through the tribulation, Jerusalem will still spiritually be called.

Sodom and Egypt.

Now that's a very negative description, isn't it, Jimmy? Yes, Sodom and Egypt. In other words, it's still going to be a land filled with unbelief, even after the two witnesses minister for three and a half years performing miracles. And the ministry of the 144,000 who reach a great multitude which no one could number, and God will be in the process of redeeming Israel. The 144,000 are called the first.

fruits to God and to the Lamb Revelation fourteen four of that regathered, redeemed Israel. And yet, even at that time, The nation as a whole will be spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. But God will be at work and He will be bringing them through that time of chastening to belief. And to salvation. And that gives us the hope.

That's what we're watching today is that God is at work now, even as He's setting the stage. For the coming tribulation. He's at work even now, and he can be working in the hearts of Jewish people. The Israeli people, even now, and we can have a place and a part in that work, Jimmy. by what we do.

Even today, while the stage is being set for the tribulation, we have the opportunity even now to imitate the courageous acts of those who will display God's loving kindness to His chosen people at a most critical time in the future. That's Matthew chapter 25. May God help us to live in such a way that our examples will support our witness of the good news about the Messiah. Paul Scharf, thank you so much. Give us some information on how we can find more information on what you do, Paul.

Well, thank you, Jimmy. It's always a wonderful thing to join you here on the program. And it's a great privilege to serve the Lord through the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, FOI.org. And they can find some of my other writings there on FOI. org as well.

But they can find much more material from me about my ministry with Friends of Israel at sermonaudio. com slash P S C H A R F P Sharf And they can connect with me as well through that means, and I would love to hear from them. And hope we can be a blessing to many. Paul Scharf, thank you, Paul. We sure appreciate you, and we're praying for your ministry.

Continue on, brother. Thank you, Jimmy. God bless you. We've got to take a break, and when we come back, Dr. Jimmy DeYoung in the Legacy Series, right here on Prophecy Today, weekend.

Welcome back to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr., and along with my brother Rick, we've been examining current events in the light of God's prophetic word. That was a great last half hour with Mino Kalashier, pastor in Jerusalem, and Paul Scharf. Both of them are actually missionaries with Friends of Israel. We are all here to further educate the body of Christ as to the times in which we're living.

And we do that. And let me give you a little secret. We have a website, prophecytoday.com. If you haven't been there, if you go there, there's a great place on our website. As you scroll down, you can get it on your phone, you can get it on your desktops, tablets.

There's a place that says watch and listen to Jimmy. And then there's a little tab that says videos. If you go there, you can see all of our videos, our DVDs that we did in the past with dad on location in Israel, around the world, Rome, Turkey, different videos there for you to go and choose from, and we would love for you to do that. We're also very thankful. For all the radio stations and all the support that you give us as a ministry, and we will continue to do this until the rapture of the church.

takes place. In our previous studies here on Prophecy Today we have seen the prophetic program for the end times as recorded in the Bible, and there are three main events yet in the future. The next event on God's calendar of activities will be the rapture of the church in the book of Revelation, chapter four, and verse one, when we see the rapture depicted, when John the Revelator says he heard, as it were, a trumpet talking with him. Which said, Come up hither, Parallel passages would be 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 and 1 Corinthians chapter 15. The rapture will be followed by a seven year period of time of terrible trouble and judgment upon the earth.

That's recorded in sixteen chapters of detailed information from Revelation chapter four through Revelation chapter nineteen. The return of Jesus Christ or the Second Coming would be the second main event that that Revelation chapter nineteen, verse eleven and following Yeah. Then there will be a thousand-year millennial kingdom. when Jesus Christ will rule and reign from a temple in the city of Jerusalem. After that, the retribution, or as it's referred to in Revelation chapter 20, verse 11, the great white throne judgment.

Knowing these three events and understanding how and when they do take place is key to understanding God's plan for the future.

Next, we need to be aware that there are three members of the human family. Get your Bible ready. We're going to the book of First Corinthians chapter 10 and verse thirty two. doctor Jimmy D. Young and the Legacy Series.

Go back to 1 Corinthians chapter 10, if you will, with me. I know 1 Corinthians chapter 10 is not a prophetic passage, but it has a verse that I want to show you there, which helps us to understand an important principle in studying Bible prophecy. Remember, the title of our series this week is Five Keys to Unlocking God's Plan for the Future. It comes from the fact that in Paul's time of being with the people at Corinth, He had an interesting conversation or teaching with them. He said that everything was lawful for him, but everything was not expedient for him.

What he meant by that. He could do all these things, but if it caused somebody to stumble and not come to know Jesus Christ or not grow in the Lord, then he would not do it. He said, Everything is lawful, but everything not expedient. I will brain my body, I will brain my lifestyle under subjection to try to win somebody to Christ. Great, great thought.

It's another study, we'll not take the time to look at it. But look at verse 32, if you will. At the conclusion of his teaching, this very carnal church at Corinth, he says this. And I'll give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. And what he does is, he divides humankind into three members.

Gentiles, Jews and Christians. Those are the three members of the human family. We must understand that if you're going to study Bible prophecy, in fact, if you're going to study the Bible, you need to understand that these are three members of the human family. God has a plan for them. In the past, He had a plan for them.

Presently, He has a plan for them. In the future, He has a plan for them: Gentiles, Jews, and Christians. In the first 2,000 years of human history, And that would be Genesis chapters 1 through 12. In the first 2,000 years of human history, there are only Gentiles upon the face of the earth. When God created Adam and Eve, they were Gentiles.

There were believing Gentiles and there were lost Gentiles during that first 2,000 years of human history. Remember, do you not, that Abel was a believing Gentile? The Lord honored his gift, his sacrifice. Cain, because of that, killed Abel. Abel was a believing Gentile.

Cain was a non-believing Gentile. That did not make him a Christian. He was not a Christian because he was a believing Gentile. If you look at the next brother we have recorded in the Bible for Adam and Eve, it was Seth.

Now, I'm sure they had more sons and daughters, but in the last part of chapter 4 of the book of Genesis, Seth. Was a believing Gentile. The text says that in the days of Seth, men started to call upon the name of the Lord. How shall they call unless they hear? How shall they hear unless one go?

Romans chapter 10. And so it is that Seth was a believing Gentile. He was a mighty preacher of the gospel. And indeed, he was giving the way of salvation at that time. He had a great, great, great, great grandson.

His name was Enoch. Enoch was a believing Gentile. He wasn't a Christian. He was a believing Gentile. One day he was out walking along with the Lord.

They got so far away from Enoch's house, the Lord looked up at Enoch and said, Hey, buddy. Listen, we're a lot closer to my house than your house. Why don't we go on to my house? And he took him right into the heavenlies. He never died.

Enoch was a believing Gentile. He had a great, great, great, great grandson. His name was Noah. Noah was a believing Gentile. He had three sons, and they had three wives, and he had a wife.

They were all believing Gentiles. How do I know? Because God spared them in the time of the flood. Everybody else, approximately one billion people, were killed when the worldwide flood inundated the entire earth. All of those were killed except eight people.

all-believing Gentiles. And so God brought Gentiles into existence. In fact, go back to chapter 10 of the book of Genesis with me. The very first time that the word Gentiles, goam, is used in the Bible is in chapter 10 and verse 5. By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided into their lands.

These were all Gentile people.

Now, I want you to know something. God has a plan. for the nations. Let me give you Genesis chapters 1 to 12. Genesis 1 is creation.

Genesis 2 is the special effects of creation. Genesis 3 is the fall of man. Genesis 4, the story of Cain and Abel. Genesis chapter 5 is a genealogy. Genesis chapter 6, 7, and 8 is Noah and the flood.

Genesis chapter 9 is Noah after the flood. Genesis chapter 10 is a genealogy. Genesis chapter 11 is the tower of Babel. Genesis chapter 12, the call of Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldes. And that's the first 2,000 years of human history, from Genesis 1 to Genesis 12, only Gentiles upon the face of the earth.

After the flood, 4,500 years ago, God was going to bring nations into existence. What took place was God in chapter 9 and verse 1 of Genesis told Noah and his three sons and their four wives to be fruitful and re-people the entire earth. They were told to do that. Chapter 10, we see the beginning of the record of obedience to that happening. As you read through chapter 10, though, you'll see the son of Ham, Cush, had a son named Nimrod.

And Nimrod, in the face of Jehovah God, in the face of Yahweh, he, instead of trying to be fruitful, multiply, and repeople the earth, he went to a place called Babel, which would be on the shores of the Euphrates River, about 58 miles out of downtown Baghdad today. And there, he was going to build one great city. He was going to become a king. The beginning of his kingdom was Babel in the plains of Shinar, modern-day Iraq. Because of that, God came down, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, confused their languages, and that started them to doing what He told them to do in the first place: be fruitful, multiply, and re-people the earth.

I want you to notice how He brought nations into existence. If you've ever wondered where nations come from, we'll find out this morning. Here's God's plan for nations. Look at verse 1 of chapter 10.

Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Jepheth, and unto them were sons born after the flood. The sons of Jepeth. Gomer. Magog, Tubal, Meshech, Tagarmah. If you know anything about Bible prophecy, that's Ezekiel chapter 38.

Magog, Meshach, Tubal, Gomer, Tagarma. These were sons of Jipeth. Grandsons of Noah, And they grew up. And they started to have children. Then what did they do?

Back to verse five. By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided into their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

So they had to have a new language that they would learn. And so these boys, Magog, Meshach, Tubal, Gomer, and Tagarmah, would get married, teach their sons and daughters how to speak a different language, and they would go to a location and there established a nation. These are how nations came into existence.

Now, you can go into any geographical, historical, biblical. Book at all that you want to, any reference book you'd like to, and you can see where Magog went to live. Magog went to live north of the Caspian and Black Sea, if you know anything about geography. North of the Caspian and Black Sea is where Magod took his family. That's modern-day Russia.

Where did Meshach, Tuba, Gomer, and Tagarmah go? They went south of the Caspian and Black Sea. That's called modern day Her key. Judy and I were over in Turkey just recently to do some television. I picked up an ancient Turkish map, and in biblical times, during the times of Asia Minor, when the churches of Revelation 2 and 3 were there, Turkey was basically divided into four parts: Meshach, Tubal, Gomer, Tagarmah.

So don't be listening to these turkeys. Excuse me for the pun. on television who try to tell you Gomer is Germany. Mishek is Moscow and Tubal is Tbilisk. It's where they went when the author Moses was writing about it.

They went to live south of the Caspian and Black Sea. And so we see how these grandsons of Noah are starting and establishing nations. Look at verse 6. This will probably blow your mind. Notice this.

And the sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizoram, and Put and Canaan. The sons of Ham. Let's see who Cush is. Cush is modern-day Ethiopia, Somalia, and Sudan. Mizoram is modern-day Egypt.

Put is modern day Libya. Look at verse 8. And Cush begot Nimrod. He became a mighty one in the earth. Verse 10: In the beginning of his kingdom, Nimrod's kingdom was Babel.

That's modern-day Iraq. I talked about Kush, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan. I talked about Mizoram, Egypt. I talked about Put, Libya. I talked about Nimrod going to Babel, Iraq.

There's six. Arab countries. You know how long it is before Abraham is going to be born? Two hundred and ninety-two years. You don't have to argue with me.

Just read the 11th chapter and add up the years from right after the flood all the way until Abraham is born. And so before Abraham was even born, the Arab world was in existence.

So don't be talking to me about Abraham being the father of the Arab world. And for sure Ishmael was not. But you're being inundated with all of these so-called great Bible commentators on ABC, NBC, and CBS. That are telling us this is a problem over there between brothers. No, it's not.

Abraham wasn't even born. He didn't father them all. It's not what the text ever teaches us. You know, I don't know why in the world anybody would think that Ishmael fathered the Arab world. You know who Ishmael's mother was?

Hagar Where was she from? Egypt. What does the word say? God has a plan for nations. He brings them into existence in His ultimate plan.

Today we've looked at the first member of the human family, Gentiles, and we've learned that it was the Gentiles who became the first nations, a key point in understanding God's plan for the future.

Next week we'll see that God does indeed have a plan for nations. We'll see how God brings into existence the priestly nation, the Jewish nation, And we'll see how the Lord will use the Jews to fulfill Bible prophecy. Dr. Jimmy DeYoung and the Legacy Series. But we're going to take a break, and when we come back, Minnow Kalashir is going to join us again to talk to us about.

Replacement theology and how you can help. Support. Christians in the Holy Land. That's all ahead right here on Prophecy Today weekend. Uh I'm Ruth Kramer with Mission Network News.

In the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, entire Christian communities are running into the jungle. More than 80 Christians were killed in a series of Islamist attacks earlier this month. Greg Kelly with Unknown Nation says: It is chilling, that's for sure. And really, I think a lot of this is shocking in the location that it's coming from because the Congo, despite all of its challenges and difficulties for now decades, has largely been known as the most Christian country in the entire country. Continent of Africa, more Christians living there than almost anywhere in the world.

The extremist group claiming the attacks has a dire message for people of the cross: convert, be subjugated, or die. Pray for the faith of the persecuted church. And new findings from Barner Research show that 48% of practicing Christians trust their spiritual growth to artificial intelligence. One in three U.S. adults says AI is just as reliable as a pastor for guidance.

Greg Yoder of Keys for Kids Ministry says: AI should not be used as a guide to help you in your spiritual walk with Christ. You cannot get spiritually fed without reading your Bible and praying to Christ, praying to God. That's not to say that AI doesn't have a place in spiritual development or ministry. Yoder says the key is to view AI as a tool, not as a final solution. Keys for Kids Ministries will continue helping kids, teens, and families know Jesus and grow in their faith.

And if AI can help us accomplish that without replacing people and the Holy Spirit and the gospel, we will probably use it. Thanks for listening to Mission Network News, a service of One Way Ministries. This month, Trans World Radio is offering a free devotional, Hope Within Reach, sharing stories of how God is moving around the world and how you can be part of it. It strengthens your faith and reminds you that the hope of the gospel is never out of reach. Get it at missionnews.org.

I'm Ruth Kramer. Welcome back to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr. Along with my brother Rick, we have been examining current events in the light of God's prophetic word. Ken Timmerman today talked about world leaders and especially.

President Donald Trump, in these moments before he's making decisions, To try to bring peace to the Middle East. And you heard what Ken had to say about that. David Dolan talked about the Middle East, what the Jewish people in the north of Israel are facing. We heard Minnow Kalosh here, in just a moment, we're going to have Minnow come back in, but we heard Minnow talk about the church in Jerusalem. And then Paul Shariff talked about what is missing.

When we look at Israel and how the church is. Following along and following what the world media is saying about the nation of Israel and specifically the Jewish people.

Well, He also talked about replacement theology. Menno had a great answer and we wanted to bring him back in here and have him discuss with us. The topic of replacement theology and how. That affects the body of Christ and how we can't support. Jewish people and the Christians in Israel.

Rick, let's bring Minnow back in here. Menno, thanks for being with us today. It's a joy. Thank you, Rick. Really, it all comes down to knowing and understanding Scripture, one third of which is based in Bible prophecy.

And if you ignore Israel, if you know ignore the role that the Bible says the Jewish people are gonna play in the future, you're ignoring Scripture, aren't you? Absolutely. You know, I've been to New Zealand about a year ago. to visit uh churches who hosted Um hosts Israeli backpackers. And I went to them because some of them started to think twice should be should they be a pro-Israel.

And I went to encourage them not to study theology from the media, from Al Jazeera, BBC and CNN. but to continue to study truth about Israel from the Bible. And you know what? One of the Israeli backpackers told me: well, you speak about us among these churches. I want to come with you to see what you are doing.

I told him, be my guest. He came to this church, loving church. and I spoke about Romans nine to eleven. You see, if replacement theology was correct, that means after the establishment of the new covenant, God changed his mind about Israel. How come Paul is writing Romans 9 to 11?

It's impossible to write it. If it was correct.

So here? We I told them, you see, God did not forget Israel. And more than that, Because of the rejection of Jesus by the Jews, the gospel went to you, Gentiles. But now you have responsibility. Romans eleven, eleven and twelve.

You know what is your responsibility? Provoke them to jealousy, and then I told the guy who came with me: please stand up. He stood up, I told him, You see, here is a Jew. Here is a Jew standing in front of you. You know what is your job?

Provoke him to jealousy. Don't do me a favor. I do not need your favours. Simply fear the Lord. And do his commandments, obey God.

You see this guy? Provoke him to jealousy. Tell him what Jesus has done in your life. Speak with him about the peace you have because of the salvation and atonement Jesus gave you. Share with him about your assurance of salvation.

Share with him about the joy that filled your life because of The Holy One of Israel written in his own Bible. Wow. We have a lot of homework to do. But don't study it from the media. You better continue to open the Bible and realize that you have responsibility toward Israel.

And do not do that out of doing a favor. you do not do us a favor. You obey God. Such excellent words as we look at this situation, and it applies to our lives as well.

Well, I know that many of the people that listen to this program, that listen to this show, they want to figure out a way to stand with Israel right now. And we appreciate, we understand that God has a role for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel to play in the future.

So, first of all, in what practical ways can we do that? And second, how encouraging is it for you in Israel to understand when Christians around the world are openly praying for them and supporting Israel? Wow, thank you for the question. First of all, continue to pray. Pray for us, pray for the salvation of Israel.

Please set your mind on the Bible, not on the news. The news is the mouth of the devil, please drill it into your soul. The news, the media is the mouth of the devil.

So please set your mind on the Bible and do not Look aside.

So pray for us. Pray for the salvation of our leaders. Pray for the salvation of our enemies. And a saved enemy becomes a friend. Pray for our children, for the church in Israel.

The war already took a few of our children. Thank God that they are saved, we shall meet again with them. But it broke f it bra broke families. Another thing, during the war, so many churches called us and said, How can we help? And I praise God for the help they supported us with.

Soldiers, of course, receive their guns from the army, that's not an issue. But buying medicine, buying other logistical issues that were given by donation through churches. My own daughter is a major in the military police, and she needed two hundred and twenty. Are winter coats for her battalion. They were not a priority.

And she said Dad, we need it. We paid twenty thousand dollar cash. To a company who provided to the army, and in three days they gave all the courts according to the size of each soldier. Those are just an example. Danny called for his platoon.

They needed off-the-shelf medicine. There were so many casualties in the beginning. The doctors did not pay attention to something which is not critical.

So we basically send him a full pharmacy. It costs. And all of it like this and many more examples. came from donations, from churches around the world. We thank you.

We praise God for you. We do not take it for granted. Just in practical terms, Meno, how can we follow your ministry? How can we support the ministry? A website, is there something that you can give us?

Sure. Our church website is JerusalemAssembly House of Redemption, www.jerusalemassembly dot com. Jerusalemassembly dot com. And you can enter, you can leave a message, you can ask questions. If you want to be in the monthly report list, ministry report list.

You're welcome. But mainly thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your prayers. You cannot imagine how much we are being encouraged. Earlier in the program today, Minot mentioned that in the next moment, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ, if the rapture happens, you could be standing before the Lord Jesus Christ to give an account as to how you lived your life.

Are you living pure, productive, and prepared? The rapture could happen at any moment. Let's keep looking up. Until. Thank you so much for joining us today.

This is Jay Johnson inviting you to join us again next week for more of Prophecy Today.
