How do you want your future to look? We want you to plan for success. Welcome to Planning Life author and motivational speaker who said a dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan and a plan put into action makes your dreams come true and essentially that's what we try to do here at Rashan Planning. We put the plan in your hands at Rashan Planning. We call it an optimized retirement plan. Now, whether you're already in retirement or you're looking to retire into the future, this plan will help you know where you are and know where you need to get to. So again, if you'd like that optimized retirement plan, give us a call or be in touch, we'd be happy to put that together for you.

It's clear, concise language, easy to follow instructions and steps on how you can achieve your financial goals. Where does it start? With a snapshot of where you are today, with where you are now, because if you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going. Maya Angelou said that one. And then another famous quote, kind of the same lines, the Cheshire Cat, Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland, she wanted to get somewhere, Cheshire Cat said, where do you want to get to?

She said, I don't know anywhere. He said, well, if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there. And that's not a way to live our financial lives or to make the financial progress. So the optimized retirement plan starts with a snapshot of where you currently are, gives you that information. And if that alone was what the plan consisted of, I think it's worth the investment of time it takes to get this plan in your hands, but we go beyond that. We have a discussion of your goals, and then we talk about recommendations. What steps do you need to take in order to achieve those goals and make them come true? So a dream written down with a date becomes a plan. A plan broken down into actionable steps becomes reality.

That's what we are trying to do with that plan. So with those recommendations, we talk about priorities. What's first, second, third? What's the most important thing? What's maybe the least important step in the process? We talk about what those action items are. How do you execute those priorities? And then a timeline.

Is this a next week kind of action, or is this a over the next month or over the next year kind of action? So once you have those priorities, the timeline, and those action items, those steps, you can begin working the plan. What's addressed? Well, we address income. We address investments. We address taxes. We address healthcare. We address legacy.

We address risks. And all of those things are major topics and subjects that people are concerned about in their financial lives. However, each one of these optimized retirement plans, they're going to be individual.

They're going to be specific to your situation. They're going to be unique to you because different people's goals are different. The folks that have $2 million and are already in retirement, their goals are going to be different than the person that has $200,000 trying to get there.

Those are going to be different than the person with $25 million trying to preserve as much as they can for a legacy. Every plan is unique, specific, and individual. The results are that you will have a better understanding of the tools that can provide you leverage and help make further progress in achieving your goals. We identify opportunities.

We identify insufficiencies. We identify underperforming assets and overexposure to risk. And this is truly different than what people are receiving because we are not looking to sell products or sell investments. We are looking to create an individual plan. Within that plan, there may be some investments.

There may be some products. There may be some types of accounts that we can help you manage. But we want to get that optimized retirement plan into your hands. And once you have it in your hands, we can talk about implementation.

How do you actually put this to work for you? How do you enact the plan? Not everybody is going to be a perfect fit to work with us, and we're not a perfect fit to work with everybody. We can decide that after you have the plan, after you've seen our recommendations. You get to have a conversation about whether or not it makes sense to implement that plan with us or implement it on your own and just check back with us on progress. But that decision is yours once you have that optimized retirement plan in your hands. Again, this is concise, consolidated, easy-to-understand language so that you can put these plans, put these steps, put these actions to work for you. If you'd like to get an optimized retirement plan in your hand, give us a call. You must have a plan in order to make financial progress at Rashaan Planning. We help our clients better determine their financial goals so they can work out those steps, those timelines, write them down, and make that dream a reality. We are glad to get 2020 behind us and in the rearview mirror, but I'm certain that next year will have some challenges of its own. I think low interest rates, inflation, taxes, market risk are all still going to be stories or will become stories in 2021 and there's sure to be some surprises along the way, but you can navigate all of those things much, much better, much more efficiently, much more confidently if you've got that optimized retirement plan in your hands. Look forward to helping you get yours.
