We've compiled this week's best, Matt Slick's Top 6. My granddaughter asked me this, when she goes to Heaven will she be an infant, a baby, or will she have a spiritually adult body? The Bible doesn't tell us, and so we can't say what will happen. But the general consensus and I agree with him is that we'll be in a mature state. I can't prove that from Scripture, but we don't know and there's nothing wrong with saying the Bible doesn't tell us. We don't know for sure. I suspect we might be at the age of 30 or 33 because that's what Jesus was when he began his ministry.

And I like that idea and I'll go with that one for a while. Number 5. There's a place where it says, I forgot where, it says, be clothed in the righteousness of God, clothed in light and glory. Now, when Moses is clothed in the righteousness of God, now when Moses was on the mount speaking with God, what happened was when he came down his face was shining. So let's put two and two together and let's speculate a little. If Adam and Eve were not sinners and they're walking in the very presence of God, could it be as Moses was in the presence of God and the glory shined on his face and his face shined with light, could it be that they were clothed with that kind of glory with God, that kind of shining, that kind of presence and that when they sinned, it disappeared and they were naked?

Number 4. When the Bible talks about someone falling asleep, when someone is asleep, they're laying down, eyes closed. When you're dead, you're laying down, eyes closed.

So they say you fell asleep. What it means is that you fell asleep in Christ. In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul talks about a man 14 years ago whether in the body or out of the body. I do not know but such a man was caught up to the third heaven, in the body or out of the body. I mean, the third heaven is the dwelling place of God. If soul sleep is correct, then that wouldn't be the place. When we die, if we're Christians, we go be with the Lord. If you're a non-believer, you go to a very bad place and you suffer. That's how it's going to stay.

Number 3. Your treatment of Hebrew sex, you completely blew it because the analogy that is used as the children of Israel were delivered out of Egypt and dead died in the wilderness. So that's the analogy and you didn't follow that. Generally, the context of Hebrews, speaking to the Hebrews, is about the Hebrew's obligation to follow what the Old Testament says in the New Testament context. First of all, you don't know who wrote Hebrews and you don't know who it was written to. So nobody does because it was, yes, because it was included under the canon under the writings of Paul, but it's not a writing of Paul. And you don't know who it was written to. How do you know it's not written by Paul?

Well, it is a possibility, but again, we know that that was a ruse when it was put forward that way. If it is by Paul, it is very different than anything else he ever wrote, that's for sure. Paul was extremely intelligent and he wrote on different levels for different things.

I've done the same thing when I write for different levels of stuff. When I speak here on the radio, I don't get into the real hard stuff. What I get into is the stuff for the average Joe. Hebrews is not just for the average Joe.

Number two. Homosexuality is clearly condemned in Scripture. In Leviticus 19, also in Romans chapter 1 verses 26 to 28, 1 Corinthians 6, 9, it goes against the created order of God, which He created man and woman, male and female.

That was the order that creation was to take in marriage and sexuality and union. The issue of abortion is found in many verses. Isaiah 1, 17 comes into play.

Here we go. Okay, so keep far from a false charge and do not kill the innocent or the righteous, for I will not acquit the guilty. That's Exodus 23, 7. Psalm 82, 3 through 7. Vindicate the weak and fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy.

Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. And here's another one, Proverbs 6, 16 through 17. There are six things which the Lord hates. Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him. Hotty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.

Number one. If they're in a church where they can't do that, they need to leave. Exactly. Because the pastor and the elders should always make it clear that women are just as important as the men. So what if the woman says, could I speak to the elders? And they hide who those elders are. And she has no way of figuring out one, who the elders are, and two, they won't let her talk to the elders. Then she needs to throw eggs at them. Uh-huh, I agree. But then when she leaves, they call her a church hopper.

And so then the devil binds like they ramp it up. So what? Who cares?

Who cares? Look, if a church is that whacked, if that, hold on, hold on. If the church is that whacked, who cares? Just go, you know. Oh, you're a church hopper. Okay, whatever. See you later. If they're not going to reveal who the elders are, and they're not going to play fair by what the scripture says, well then leave. You don't try and warn them.
