I remember when year 2000 hit, And uh Man, you know? Things are going fast. At any rate, it's a nice day. And if you want to give me a call, I can say 877-207-2276. And also, you can email me.
That is easy to do. Just send an email to Info at carm.org, info at carm.org and put the subject line radio comments. Or radio question, and we can get to them. It's really easy. And let's see, we have anybody, nobody waiting right now.
Okay.
So last night I got on TikTok for about an hour and a half and had some good discussions with some people. Nothing major, nothing related to report. Except occasionally, what I will do is meet obstreperous people, people who just are difficult to work with. And that was the case last night a little bit. I also have one of those 3D headset things you can go into the virtual world.
And you'll see them on videos of people crashing into things when they're, you know, swatting and something. I sit in my chair and I go into chat chat rooms. And I witnessed. And today, I went into this room and says, prove God's real, or something like that. And I went in there, this guy knew who I was, he's an atheist, and He uh He it was interesting.
He tried to uh To be logical and critical, and he failed many times. I kept pointing it out to him, and I noticed something very interesting. He refused. To acknowledge that he was making logic errors. When I called him out, I said, This is exactly what you're doing wrong right here.
And at one point we had a discussion about the nature of thought. And I asked him, oh my goodness, Does thought have a location, a weight? Does it have mass? It just yes. Wow.
No, a thought does not. And uh It's interesting because a thought or an expression, a desire, is not something that you can. Picture. Not something you can put in a jar. take a picture of or or weigh it or freeze it or anything like that.
because they're not properties of the physical realm, they're properties of the mind. And there's a lot of discussion and philosophy about the two realms, mind and physical, and anyway, we're going to know that. But uh When I asked him about thoughts, because I was going to get him into the issue of universal morality, and I think the guy knew because he said he knows who I am, and he's followed me for a few years. But he's very antagonistic, so I think he knew what I was going to say. even though we didn't get that far.
But he kept blowing it, you know, and he said that thoughts have have mass. I said, really, what instrument do you use to designate or to discover the mass of a thought? And uh They didn't have any, you know.
Well, I don't know, but it doesn't mean it's not true.
So it was pretty bad. And at one point, I offered an illustration of something about what information is, which he didn't know what that was either. And I said, look, let's take, for example, a USB drive. It has a certain weight. USB drive, thumb drive, you know, you could Please pocket.
It has, and let's say that you get it brand new, there's nothing on it, there's no information on it, it's just there.
Now, technically, it's not true. There's a couple of built-in programs for mapping things, but let's just say it's got no information that you put on it, nothing. And it weighs, let's just say, exactly a gram or something like that, an ounce. I said, okay, so let's just say it weighs exactly one ounce, and you put it in the computer and you transfer 20 books onto it. Under this this argument.
Does it weigh any more? And the answer is, no, it doesn't. A lot of people don't know this, but it it does not increase in weight. Because information doesn't have weight. It doesn't have mass.
You can't pick it up. It's the uh Let's just say that the electrons, the atoms on the USB, are still there, they're just rearranged. And the arrangement is where information is. And so I asked him this. He couldn't even answer that.
And it was really bad.
So There's just a lot of stuff. like this that I have to go through in discussions and um And it just You know, i it's just ridiculous. And uh how how many people really want to be their own gods, just decide what's truth. was moral. And I think about someone like him.
or others who have just raised their fists and neared God. and who have uh denied him and openly were to deny him. What's going to happen to them?
Well, on the Day of Judgment.
Well, they're going to be cast into eternal damnation. And it reminds me of um of accounts I've seen reported Uh by videos people have done videos. Apparently, where unbelievers have been on their deathbed and the things they've said and done. You know, things like they're coming for me. The fire is here.
You know, help me, help me. This is. This is reported many times in many places, many ways. Over the years, I've heard a lot of stories like this. And uh you know, I d I don't want it I don't take any pleasure in the idea that, um That they will go to hell.
I don't I don't want to go to hell. You know, just to prove that I'm right. No way. I want them to be saved, and I want them to understand and enjoy the fellowship of the Lord Jesus Christ instead of working so hard against Him. But the fact is, as Jesus says, few find their way into salvation.
And this is all the more reason why we As Christians need to be speaking that gospel and giving that gospel out as much as we can. It's really important to do that, okay? And I just remind you to share that gospel. It's not always easy to do, and even in that room I was in today, I wasn't able to share the gospel because it just didn't work at that point, and it becoming very, very difficult. And then it just children came in.
In some of these rooms, these children come in and they just are so annoyingly immature and scream and yell. And we have to turn the volume down, and some people kick them out. Anyway, sometimes it just gets bad, but that's what was going on today. And no big deal, you could pray for me. When I do those kinds of things, I always pray and ask God to give me words and to help people.
Let's get to Dan from North Carolina. Dan, welcome. You're on the air. Thank you, Matt. I'm new.
We've only been here a short amount of time. We came from California, and I want to thank you for. I was in southern California, Riverside area. Oh, I see. Riverside.
I used to live off the, yeah, I grew up in Soquel and was a pastor out there in Marino Valley and out the 91. Mero Valley. Oh, yeah, yeah. Used to live in San Diego, Orange County. Oh yeah.
So Bellflower, Ontario. Anyway, it just loved it here about people from SoCal. That's all. Yeah, it's a small bellflower. That was our first house when we lived.
Really? When we first got married, right off the 91 and uh There was a big church and an abandoned school right by us. Oh, okay.
Well, I used to live right off the 91 off of Park Street right off there. And then. Up up the road on Flower Street. Yeah. Uh-huh.
Yeah, in fact, this is trivia data right now. The guy that we lived with was one of Doolittle's raiders. in uh the first retaliatory fight uh uh attack on Japan. Yeah. How about that?
Okay.
Boy, we really tangented all over the place, didn't we? I love that stuff. Yeah, we did. We did. You know, we were blessed because our uh Our landlord was a Christian.
He owned a Uh that uh Earl's pest control over on uh A wild graph. And you know, he gave all his houses Uh a break. You paid $400, you were never ever late, and He completely fixed up a house, everything brand new. And we burnt flats. You know?
When I was yeah, when I was younger, um My brother and I would, I remember going to the Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa when it was event. Yeah. So oh yeah, yeah.
Well, I I was baptized. I was baptized by Chuck Smith. Yeah. In the ocean? Yeah.
Too late. Oh, praise the Lord, man.
Now, now you're a small world.
Now, we moved out from, we moved to Riverside. And then we moved To Merino Valley. Yeah. We were there for twenty twenty seven years.
Okay.
And we started uh Pastor Penrod.
Now his son is uh Guy Penrod from the Gaithers. Oh. Oh really? Yeah. No, um Yeah, he started uh Liberty Baptist Church.
Okay.
And then yeah. Yeah. And then were you the freeway? Church right off the freeway. Right there's a freeway.
I don't it wouldn't be so long. I don't remember now. It was just we were there, my wife and I, and I was a pastor in Ontario, an assistant pastor in Ontario. Oh uh-huh. Yeah, and so I've been up here in Idaho for 22 years.
And was down there after the pastoring stuff for several years.
So it's been 30 years.
So it's been a while. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. You know, Matt, we all gotta pray for that. All the people that were shot and killed at that In-N-Out Burger Mat, you know. That was such a tragedy, you know. Um, yeah.
Now my wife's nephew, he is one of the radio announcers at one of the Christian radio stations up there.
Okay.
Yeah. Um, but I don't know. I appreciate your show. And I've been meaning to call you. You have some great contacts with.
So many people, you know. And You're the first station I found that that Is that here?
Well, it's called the Truth Network and it's it's run by by Stu Epperson and he's he's a great uh great guy, loves the Lord, and so there's a lot of stations that he's always trying to get on on board. And um, so I'm here in Idaho, but we're on like sixteen or twenty stations. I'm on, you know, up and down the east coast and Ohio and also in Utah.
So that's you know, just you should call him up and thank him for uh for the good stuff on the station. You know what? Um you have my number. I'm driving right now in a major rainstorm. Oh, cool.
And I can't write, but if you could text me his name and number, I would be glad to do that.
Well, I can't. I'm not able to technically do that where I'm at and how it works on the radio. But you can, you know, it's just truth network. Yeah, just truthnetwork.com. That's all you got to do.
Okay.
Now, our pastor that we have now at Liberty Baptist Church in Merino Valley. His brother has uh Faith Radio dot US Um his last name is Beagle. He's in Florida, and he has, I think, seven repeater locations. And we even have a seminary that we Completely sponsor in Terry over in Kenya, Africa. We have a station over there, too.
And uh It's a blessing. We had a fundraiser to buy these radios. That a Mormon organization in Utah. Paid for half of them. And they were preset solar crank radios.
Well, good. Yeah. Yeah. So I have a picture of a Just uh uh one of the Africans on a bicycle r driving down the street with a radio on his shoulder in his ear. Hmm.
Good.
Well good.
So let me ask you. Yes, sir. I was going to ask you a question, but we've got a break coming up. I was going to ask you if you've been to my website. because it might be helpful.
It's carm.org. But hey, hold on. Be right back after the message, okay? Hey, folks, we have three open lines. If you want to give me a call, all you got to do is dial 877-207.
2276. We'll be right back after these messages. Please stay tuned. It's Matt Slick Live, taking a call at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick.
All right, and welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, we have three open lines: 8772-0722. 7-6. Let's get back on with Dan from North Carolina. Dan, welcome.
You're on the air. Yeah, thank you, Matt. Yeah. I wanted to take and tell everybody that, you know what, The Lord can save anybody. You know, Matt, I was safe in a courtroom Waiting to go With my brother as my parents were separated And I was going to court.
to try to prosecute a guy Bit of Back in my old days, I did a lot of drugs. And um I was going to buy some marijuana From a friend of mine And I went to hand him the money in the back of an old schoolyard, and he came across and he. He hit me with a steel pipe. and just shattered and and broke my jaw. And I'd spent nine days in a hospital trying to recuperate from that.
And then I had to go to court. And we were in the courtroom in the city of Downey, Downey Courthouse. And there was nobody else in that courtroom. Everybody went except for my brother and I. And Joey says, you know, Dan?
You don't have to go through this. And I said, What do you mean? He says, You know what? You can give everything to the Lord. And ask him for forgiveness, and he can forgive you for your sins.
And I said Really? He said, yeah.
So I says, okay, I want to do it.
So we prayed the Lord's prayer and. Salvation Prayer and um The second, Matt, I mean the second, if you hit a hammer. The door opened up and the bailiff came. and said my case has been dismissed. Because the guy that I was supposed to be going to was in the Norwalk court and he's been prosecuted for mugging and killing a lady.
Okay.
Well took that care of that one. Yeah. Oh man. And I said, you know what, man, and Matt, I have been going to the Calvary Chapel. Uh The concerts and and Costa Mesa for so long and I didn't know the Lord.
And I just thank the Lord that, yeah, my wife and I, we've been married for 43 years. And You know, I just thank the Lord every day for my wife. We've been in our ups and downs and You know, uh the Lord takes care of us. No.
Well Praise God that He saved you and You know, you were. It's nice to reminisce with someone from SoCal, was there for many, many, many years. And uh kind of miss it sometimes, but Idaho's nice too.
So praise God. But earlier before the break, though, I asked if you'd ever been to my website, carm.org, C A R M dot O R G. You ever been there? No, I have not. No, I have not.
I'm writing it down now. Um Yeah, it's 30 years old. Yeah, car with an M on it, Carm, Christian apologetic. CARM, Christian Apologetics Research Ministry, C-A-R-M dot O-R-G. And it's one of the oldest websites on the Internet of its kind.
And written about 5,000 articles on it. And so there you go. You can check it out. And we have some schools there and stuff like that. You can check it out.
But it's a lot of information. I've written a great deal over many years. In fact, today I just released two articles.
So there's a lot there. Really? I remember, wasn't Chuck Nissler up where you're at? Yeah, he I used to go to his his uh classes in SoCal, then he moved up here to Idaho. And uh he moved to New Zealand.
And then passed away in New Zealand. Oh, he really? Uh-huh. Oh, he did pass away, huh? Yeah.
Yep. You know? He was a great example for somebody That Had his ups and downs where he was a millionaire. I heard, and then he lost everything, and he was a millionaire again, lost everything, but he was such. a person that was aware of all the United States Type of military and things like that, right?
I think that's what it was. Yes, he was called in by officials to go into corporations and save them. He was quite good. He was a genius, yes. and he worked with Ronald Reagan and others.
Yeah, he was he was up there. All right? Yeah. Yes. May we pray someday we can open an Uncle Bud's cafe up here.
Remember that in Bellflower? I was too young for that, but. Oh, come on. You can't be too young that. No way.
Yeah, I'm almost 70, so. I get longer. 66.
Well, there you go. But I wasn't in Bellflower after 12 years old, 11, 12 years old. But anyway, I got to go because we've got callers and we've got to. God bless you.
Okay.
Everybody waiting. It's worth waiting for. That's right. All right, well, God bless, brother.
Okay.
Whoops, there you go. All right. Hey, if you want to give me a call, we have three open lines: 877-8777. 207-2276. Let's get to Chuck from Ohio.
Chuck, welcome. You're on the air. Yeah, I I got a question about uh As far as election, um Yeah. If you have um Someone a loved one And you keep uh witnessing tonom and Praying for them and encouraging them, everything, and you don't really see much. Um What you know, it can be discouraging if you believe that maybe they're not elect.
Well, that's not our job. That's not our concern.
Well, yeah, but what what it you know, if it's breaking your heart, what what do you do? Keep praying. Just keep praying, keep trusting God. We live by faith, not by sight. Habakkuk 2.4.
So what we're supposed to do as believers is trust God. and ask that he would uh open their hearts and minds. And I've been praying for my daughters. for many years, many years. This way.
And I've heard stories of people praying 20, 30 years, and then their family members get saved.
So it's just It's what we do. We we pray and we ask God And you know, I believe in election, predestination, because the Bible teaches it. But I don't know how it all works. And what I do pray, when I'm. Beseeching my Lord, I will ask him, I will say, if they're not elected, could you please elect them?
And that's just an admission. I don't know how it all works from all eternity. Lord, if they're not elected from eternity, could you please elect them from eternity? What I'm just doing is pleading in my ignorance and just say, Lord, be merciful, please. And that's it, and that's all we can do.
As my friend Bill McKeever says, we're in sales, not production. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
All right. I appreciate your answer on that. Thank you. You're welcome. Will God bless.
Okay.
Yeah, folks, you know, just because we pray and we don't see something happen exactly the way we want when we want doesn't mean God isn't hearing, doesn't mean God isn't moving. We just don't know. God often works in people's lives. He prepares the heart. And there's many, many times when suddenly.
A person just believes. They Realize they've been pushing the witness of the spirit upon their hearts back, they've been pushing it back, and they give in after a while. It takes a while. And salvation is a big deal. It's a miracle of God, and we just got to trust Him.
All right? Alright, hey, we'll be right back after these messages. If you want to give me a call, 877-777. 207-2276. Be right back.
It's Matt Slick Live, taking a call at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. All right, and welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, the number is 877-20722. I'm getting on the air.
Hold on. All right, Gil. You're on the air, buddy. What do you got, man? It's my pleasure, and you're my treasure in the Lord.
You know, Jesus has. Uh if we lay up treasures on earth, Which is better than moth and rust. I have a question. In Matthew 1:21, It says, She will give birth to a son in your to give him the name Jesus. And then in verse 23, it says, Wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Am I right on that? No.
With 121, how would you answer that as a Calvinist? Because some people think it's talking about the Jewish people or something like that. And my pastor told me years ago. I don't know. But I think it's talking about the elect in general.
No, I don't know what Calvinist has to do with it. It just says she'll bear a son, that's Mary will bear Jesus. Call his name Jesus. He'll save his people from their sins. And then you've mentioned verse 23, but I'm not sure what the question is really, it's just what it says.
Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Ha ha ha ha. Oh man, where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Now I remember that was Matthew 6:21. How are you doing, by the way? I. I haven't called yet because the line's been busy to um Steve Gregg, but I'm dying to talk to him and let him know that I've been speaking to you. You and him.
Tell him I say hi. Tell him I say hi, and we need to do a debate on Calvinism. I will do, I promise you, I'm going to do that tomorrow. I'm going to call before the show starts. I don't even know if they have a number.
I might have it on my own. He almost convinced me of that for a while, man. Of what? He's so good. He gives you both sides of the fence.
You know what I mean? Yeah, I know both sides. I know both sides, but I know arguments that they can't get out of. I'm sorry, it's just true. Good.
I know arguments that I want to hear it. But um I don't know, it was like 25 years ago. We had a discussion on a radio show, supposed to be just not a debate, which was supposed to be three just encounters where we just went back and forth politely. And he, let's just say that I didn't think he really was keeping his end of the bargain on that for the first two shows. And finally, by the third show, I said, okay, I'm going to start answering questions and really getting into it.
And so some people have said he trounced me and stuff like that, which he didn't. But because I was trying to do what the host wanted us to do, just have a back and forth discussion, not debate. And so I try to keep mine into the bargain. But uh any rate, yes, so I know that he's against Calvinism and uh like Leighton Flowers is He had me confused for a while. I ended up believing a lot of stuff he said, you know, for a while.
Yep. But I I talk to you again and I go back and forth. Yeah, it's crazy. Yep, but I don't want to be lazy. I love learning, you know.
Yep. I just want to say that in the nursing home, there's a wonderful woman that takes care of me. She saved my life a few times. Her name is Maureen and she's a good woman. Please pray for her salvation.
I think she's getting saved. She just needs to learn. I'm trying to show her the difference between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism and all that. you know, she listens to me, but it's just kinda hard because when you were brought up a certain way, you know what I mean, it's hard. But one thing, she's taken extremely good care of me.
Really good here. Just ask her if she puts it. Ask her if she puts all her faith and trust in what Jesus did. or not all. Because if she puts her faith and trust in Jesus and what she's done, Then that's not all in Christ.
And just ask her: are you putting everything you have in what Jesus did? Or does it mean that you have to do something also and not everything with what Jesus did? Just get her things. She might come up with James 217 or something. I don't know.
We can try that, but look, we call you back to the next one. I will. I'm going to do it right now. Thank you. All right.
Thank you. God bless you.
You have a great night. It's a pleasure and a treasure talking to you. Bye-bye. God bless. All right.
God bless. Hey folks, if you want to give me a call, we have wide open lines, nobody waiting right now. 87720722. Seven, six.
So, now I think I'm going to do is just get onto some questions that have come in. We have a questions, Rio Questions folder. I'm gonna get into them. Let's see. The first one.
Um Do you believe women can be abusive verbally and physically? Yes, they can. There's a lot of statistics on that, yes. Why do you think society in and outside the church? has a hard time bleeding women can be abusive because they don't know all the facts.
They think that women are gentle in all areas. That's not the case. Um So, uh Let's see. There's some CDC stats. I've not really looked at them.
I've seen them online as people have quoted them.
So I know that they're out there. And I've seen pictures of in screenshots of what they're off the CDC. Um let's see. Versus men in L To do this and see what happens. Also, but if the father is abusive, it's really a no questions asked and automatically believed.
Yes, that's the unfortunate thing. What with the Me Too movement? Uh it was dangerous. Because women could just accuse a man and he was just guilty. And it didn't matter about proof.
and I have known two men who uh different stories, but it comes down to A single woman made an accusation. which was completely unfounded. It didn't matter. The evidence wasn't there. The accusation was, and these men had to suffer severely because of it.
And those are generic. statements, but it's it's the case.
So, uh Let's see. 200 studies using Women and men self-report perpetuating blah blah blah review of 39 studies, 79 studies, Archer's review, 82. Both relied heavily on whatever all this stuff is, I'm just reading some stuff that came up. little bit of search on it. Uh 35% of women and about 28.5% of men report R A P E.
Young men with experience, these form. I can't read all a lot of this stuff because it's. I don't like reading stuff like that over the air for obvious reasons because our kids might be there. Let's get to Jamal from North Carolina. Jamal, welcome in.
You're on the air, buddy. Hey Matt, how's it going brother? It's going. It's going, buddy. What do you got?
Well, um first of all, I'm driving and I already heard a little bit about interference, so um that might uh play a part in the in the call in case we don't hear each other.
Sorry um I had a question about the political parties. And I keep seeing people that are supporting The Democratic Socialists of America, the Muslim religion. um, abortion with the man, which was just found in Massachusetts. Um then people going to get to prayer saying um You know, uh And Jesus was you know, just going against Christianity, like like, you know, um users is welcome here pretty much in certain political spheres. Um so I'm kind of wondering If and before I asked this question, or ask this question.
I hear the opposite. On conservative historical saying, you know, we are proud of Jesus, we welcome Jesus, everybody's welcome here. You know, we we have a moral standard. Uh without a butt. Terra Rosa and torching the approaching the place.
So uh my question is this for that bad dr bad drop. Or people who are not of faith gravitate more towards the Democratic Party.
Well I don't know. I don't know the st the statistics. What I do believe, however. Is that I'm going to look something up? I think it's called the 45 Goals.
of communism. And I have it on my website. Oh god. Come on, let's get in there. Yeah.
Forty five goals of communism. And it was read into the Congressional Record in January 10, 1963. And I recommend people go to my website and read about this because you'll see what's going on and you'll see that their desire to overthrow the United States is occurring. Um Capture one or both of the political parties, get control of schools, use them as a transmission belt for socialism and current communist propaganda. Infiltrate the press, get control of the book reviews, creatorial writing, gain control of TV, motion, pictures, etc.
I'm reading these from there. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. It goes on and on. This is their goals. This is what's happening.
So, when you talk about abortion on demand, people against prayer in schools, against Christianity, socialists in power, and support of Islam, and other things like this, this is simply the fever, the sickness that's upon our culture. We cannot and we will not survive this way. Our culture is going to collapse. America is going to collapse. We know this because this is what happens.
There is a historical signific a historical cycle where people who are oppressed unite in purity of morals, grow strong, get fluent, Affluent, excuse me, become very comfortable, lackadaisical, become. Generations go on, lackadaisical, and then become start doing everything that's right in their own eyes. Mm-hmm. And when that happens, oppression occurs.
So the phrase, every man did what was right in his own eyes, is in Judges 17 and Judges 21. And Oh, we got a break coming up.
So hold on and explain all this a little bit more and why it's so significant, why it's so important, and why we need to pay attention to it as Christians because our country's going to fail. It's not a prophecy, it's just it's going to fail because it can't maintain its integrity and unity with what's going on. We'll be right back, folks. Please stay tuned. We'll be right back.
It's Matt Slick Live, taking your calls at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. Hey everybody, welcome back to the show. If you want to give me a call, all I gotta do is dial 877-207-2276. Jamal, you still there, buddy?
Yes, sir. Yeah, I was going on a little bit there and the break hit. Mm-hmm. In, like I said, in Judges 17 and through 19, or through 21, basically. Uh what we have is uh a st a phrase that's really important and and everyone did what was right in their own eyes.
And when this occurs, uh we can see in history as recorded that um Very bad things followed. civil war, Uh punishment by God. disciplining uh the nation of Israel. And so This is what's happening here in America. We have abortion on demand.
Mocked. In fact, I don't know if you've heard this. This is a side note. I've been seeing videos pop up now about the Coca-Cola can. You can put in words and have a can printed, custom printed.
And I haven't verified I need to do that soon. But videos are popping up now. People have got onto this. You can write Muhammad is king, Satan is king, but you can't write Jesus as king. It won't accept it.
Stuff like this, these little subtle things that are pervasive around our culture, particularly in movies where Christianity is denigrated, where we have insults to the faith, people using the Lord's name in vain constantly. We have the support of Islam and the absolute sheer stupidity of people and their ignorance about that false religion and how dangerous it is. We have socialists in power now. This should never be the case. And the fact that we have socialists in power is just a demonstration of how bad off our country is right now.
So the United States is undergoing a faltery, failing trajectory, bad trajectory of truth and morality. It's a momentum. and of degradation. And when it's like a large stone rolling down a hill, it has momentum. It takes a lot of work to change that momentum direction or stop it.
And what we've had is the degradation of morality in our country, and therefore no unity. I've been hearing more and more about companies. What they're interested in is the bottom line, making more money.
So the quality of their products is getting worse. The quantity for the money is getting worse, so they can make a buck. And this kind of thing passes the cost down to others, and the average person can't survive. It doesn't do well, as they say. And so we don't have unity of purpose of honoring God and being careful and trying to watch out for others.
No, it's a self-orientated thing. And this is one of the things about Christian thought: we're other-centered to the benefit of others, but when you get away from that, it becomes self-centered. And this is what's happening. Abortion is self-centered executions. Against prayer is: I don't want God to be the one I turn to, I want to be the one I turn to.
Socialists in power is not about working hard and stuff. It is about the government will give you everything that you want and you need. And whenever this occurs in history, we've seen that it results in great oppression and death and starvation. Always. And our schools are being undermined.
The truth of what Christianity is is just basically kicked out. Everyone's doing what's right in their own mind, in their own eyes, and therefore our country is going to fail. I'm very confident it will. I don't know when. There's going to be an economic collapse.
There's going to be maybe civil war. There's going to be stuff that's happening. And it's bad. I I believe that this stuff's coming. How about that for a depressing announcement.
Well, uh obviously I called the right guy and asked the right question. Uh so that that is a lot. And I have my own uh feel that I give to people, but not as lengthy and in depth, as intact as what you gave. And I'm about to pull into a Bible study at the Richard Children's Racing Museum. It's a men's Bible study, so I'm going to have to go soon.
But before I do, Uh folks. I'm going to plug a resource that I've used. Not just the Metflick show, but Carm.org, C-A-R-M. That's Charlie. An apple Um rainbow um Mushroom.
I forgot the other phonetic. I was going to say moron, but she's better. I wouldn't say that, sir. Not with that lengthy steel that you gave us. Uh all this.
Or a lot of it can be found on his website. Also, support him $5, $10 a month so he can continue to put his input or info out to everybody. Uh one of the reasons why I ask the question is to have Christians to vote And even if you're not a Christian. You're enjoying living under a Christian rule you're enjoying living up under a Uh the public. A representative republic rule under the Constitution.
Nowhere to wear socialism. or uh communism. is a rule have people thrived.
So, you have your freedom of speech. You have your platform. You have your little groups. I don't say little groups. You have your groups.
You have your way of life, even because you live under a Christian rule. As a matter of fact, it's so good that Muslims come over here to enjoy what we have.
So,. They don't accept what we have, but they're running to us to I live off of what that we have. But that is about it, Brother Slick. There's other things I'm sure I can talk about and ask about. Uh but Christians, non-Christians, even Bill Maher, who is an old school Democrat atheist, even he said he doesn't want to live up under a communist regime.
He said his oath is up to grasp. You don't want this. You might not like the system, but improve the system, reject communism. And hey, let's put Christ up because that's where we got to that's what has gotten us this far. Amen, brother.
It's true.
Okay.
All right. Well, that's it, brother. I don't want to take up any more time. God bless you, and I'm praying for you, brother. All right.
Thanks, brother. God bless. Appreciate it. All right, hey folks, since we have nobody waiting right now, I'm going to go over. I've done this every few months.
the forty five goals of the Communist Party. And I'm not going to go through every single one of them because not all of them are apropos.
Some of them depended on certain situations that really aren't extant anymore.
However, I'm going to go through these slowly. We've got about five, seven minutes. One of them is permit free trade. Between all nations, regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. Remember, this is in the 45 goals of communism.
that was uh first published in March of nineteen sixty one in The Naked Communist. um uh rag, whatever it is. And uh it was read into the Congressional Re record by Albert S. Herlong on January 10, 1963. They are the stated means by which the Communist Russia would overthrow the United States.
So um Number twelve is resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. Number 15, capture one or both of the political parties in the U.S.
Now, That one's c we could have an interesting discussion on because the the obviously the um The Democratic Party is just socialist commie. The the Republican Party is shifted to the left. I don't trust them either. Number seventeen, get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current communist propaganda.
Soften the curriculum. You know, and kids aren't even Hard to even read. Uh They can't tell time very well, they don't read, they don't know what cursive is, they don't have critical thinking, etc. Anyway, it says also get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
and communism and socialism and anti-Americanism are taught in textbooks now. It's true.
All this is true. Number twenty is infiltrate the press, get control of book review, assignment, editorial writing, policy making decisions. Would you say that the Communist Party or leftism is in the press? Absolutely. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
That was number 21. Here's number 22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American communist cell was told to eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings. substituting shapeless, awkward, and meaningless forms.
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity. By calling them censorship and a violation of free speech and free press. Number 25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and T V.
Number 26, present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as normal, natural, and healthy. Number 27. Infiltrate the churches. I mean, what time it is?
Okay.
Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion. This is happening. discredit the Bible, and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a religious crutch. Yep, Number 28, eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of separation of church and state. Number twenty nine, discredit the American Constitution by calling it an uh inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with moral needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
Number 30. discredit the American founding fathers. present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the common man. Number 31. belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was a only a minor part of the big picture.
give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. Number 32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture. Education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. That's a particularly dangerous one.
along with some mother was there. Uh skip down to thirty-five. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI? They're doing their own job on that one. 37.
Infiltrate and gain control of big businesses. We have leftist businesses, Google. Microsoft. transfer some of the powers of arrest from police to social agencies or trying that in Washington, State of Washington treat all behavior problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat. Discredit the family as an institution, encourage promiscuity, and easy divorce.
Emphasize here's number 41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks, and retard retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. Number forty two. create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition that students and social interest groups should rise up and make a united force to solve, economic, political, and social problems.
Number 43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government. 44. Internationalize the Panama Canal. And the last one, 45, I don't know what this is, repeal the Connolly reservation so the U.S.
cannot prevent the world court. from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. In other words, Removing our own sovereignty of our own country for jurisdiction work means give the world court jurisdiction over domestic problems, give the world court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.
Now, this was in the Comics Manifesto. Ladies and gentlemen. Does that ring a bell? I'm gonna tell you, Christians. We've got a job ahead of us.
You get on your knees and start praying. Ask God to deal with this. And every Christian everywhere needs to be praying instead of figuring out how to get more money in their bank account and get health and wealth because God wants you healthy and wealthy. and we'll get raptured out of here, so don't worry about it. Yeah.
Oh. Man. You know, sometimes Sometimes people don't like what I say, but that's just what it is. I don't pull punches. And by God's grace, we'll be back on here tomorrow.
May the Lord bless you. And hopefully, you'll tune in tomorrow. We'll talk some more. God bless. Have a good evening.
