Phone lines are open. You've got questions, we've got answers.

It's time for the Line of Fire with your host. Activist, author, international speaker and theologian, Dr. Michael Brown. Your voice of moral, cultural and spiritual revolution. Michael Brown is the director of the Coalition of Conscience and president of Fire School of Ministry. Get into the line of fire now by calling eight six six three four. True. That's eight six six three four truths. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown. Well, what a great time.

Get to answer your questions. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tackle tough questions, all kinds of questions with you.

Any question of any kind that relates in any way to any expertize I have here on the line of fire or anything. You've heard about the word or theology. When I ask you about everything you've heard about me. Do you want to find out is it true or not? Eight six six three four truth eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. This is Michael Brown. Welcome to the Line of Fire. Going to go to the phones momentarily. Last night, I was just looking at some random comments on YouTube that had been posted, disagreeing, differing with some some videos that I'd posted. We get tens of thousands of comments are just was glancing at a few of them. So one had a link at the end that was important for people to see it. I clicked on to this. Michael Brown is a proven false prophet. Those just still out there. Well, that's always going to be the case. But it's my honor and joy to be maligned for speaking the truth and the gospel. But if you ever have a question, I mean, honestly, you heard something that concerns you. You want to find out more. You've been following our ministry for a while. And you you heard this or that and you wanted to find out about it. Feel free. Call. You know, is right to us. But feel free and call eight six six three, four truth. I've got some things I want to share with you in the midst of taking these phone calls. But first we go to the phones beginning in Foley, Alabama. Brian, welcome to the Line of Fire.

Thank you. Doug MacArthur Brown, I'm a long-Time listener, First-Time Caller. I have like 50 plus questions I could ask. First call, I want to thank some of the fight. So upper, Wolf, in terms of Pentecostal church. I know my way around the Bible. But I want to take it to the top level, you know, in and out.

And so. Well, what would I want to know, apologetics? The hermeneutic at one point I tried that before trying to end that. Oh, I agree. Do you recommend a seminary? And I want to be able to read the Bible in his recent language, both Hebrew, Aramaic. The Greek, the Greek. Yeah. Greek. Oh, well, I'm not going to let him play. But what would you recommend me? Where. Where else?

Yes, sir. So where can you start to really dig deeper into the Bible? Understand the Bible. Better read the Bible in the original languages. You want to be realistic and you want to start kind of one step at a time and not bite off more than you can chew. When I was in college, I took six different languages. At the same time, I took Hebrew, Arabic, Latin, Greek, German, Yiddish. And in retrospect, it was really a mistake to do so much at once because it's hard to absorb everything as deeply as you want to. Or even if you do, to keep up with it all the same time, it's it's best to learn one or two really well and then build on that. Build on that. So I want to I want to put your question in three separate categories. Bible apologetics, original languages without encourage you to do is do something simple online. Go to fire school of ministry, dot com fire, school of ministry, dot com. That's that's the school that I've led for over 20 years, which we now have as an exclusively online school. I just did an online Q&A with students last night so you can take basic classes there. So you sign up, you get accepted and then you take I would take one class at a time. Old Testament survey. New Testament survey, doctrinal foundations, how to study the Bible. Get those foundations strong, secure, then if you want to go deeper. We have a full two year degree or there are other schools you can build on. But this will give you a really good foundation in the basics from a solid biblical academic perspective. And it'll challenge you to dig deeper. You'll find out about background, two books of the Bible. You didn't understand. You'll find about systems of interpretation that are helpful. Get more clarity on doctrinal foundations. So that's a great place to start. That's the only place. But obviously, our own school, I can highly recommend the faculty. So Fire School of Ministry ARCOM. That's one thing. Now, as far as apologetics, as you begin to study the word more, you want to lay that foundation first and foremost, get deeper, get better understanding. And if you want to get more advanced, we have more advanced classes. If you finished with us, you'd want to transfer your credits to another school. And go on for more studies. You can do that. But this way. These are good foundational classes. Eye opening, every one of them. Now that you have that foundation, lay that first. In terms of apologetics, what are you really interested in? And I'm not asking you to respond. I'm saying think about it. Where do you want to defend the faith the most? Is it to atheists? Is it to Muslims? Is it Mormons and the cults? If you want to help reach teenagers with questions. Are you interested? More like defending what the Bible says about creation. Those kind of things. If you wanted to go on for further study, then what you could do is, is take credit you earn with us and transfer them over to southern evangelical seminary colleagues of ours. I've taught there periodically, S.A.S. that E.D. You school that was co-founded by Norman Geisler years ago. Norman Geisler. And was it Rob Ross? Not sure. The other founder. In any case, this this is a great apologetics school and it's online, so you can find out more about that. So first, get solid foundations in scripture doctrine. How to interpret the Bible. Then if you want to go on for apologetics, a school like that would be excellent. Or you just start going on YouTube and finding subjects you're interested in. You want to find out about more about Islam. James White. David, would you want to find out more about dealing with atheists? Frank Turek or Ravi Zacharias or Jewish objections to Jesus, our website and YouTube channel. And then lastly, learning the biblical languages. I would start with Greek. I would start with New Testament Greek because it's easier for a Westerner to learn Greek than it is to learn Hebrew or Aramaic. And the Greek New Testament is smaller than the Hebrew Bible, and it's also less vocabulary to learn. And I would just I would just get online and I would search for learning New Testament Greek and you will find books with c.D or downloadable software or online classes where you can kind of you study on your own, but you have the benefit of of hearing things and going through them and having tests and things like that. And if and if you really call to go deeper, then go into a seminary, something that would make sense. But that's how I do it. And as you dig deeper, Ryan makes sure that you keep a good, strong emphasis on your own prayer life and relating to the Lord and that you're always looking to reach the lost because sometimes we get so caught up in intellectual study, we forget about worshiping the Lord and sharing the gospel. So that's always a healthy way to do that. So check out our classes at fire. School of Ministry dot com. Old Testament seven New Testament Survey. Doctrinal Foundations one two. How to study the Bible. All those classes. And then more apologetics than ever. Jellico Seminary is a great place, but we work together with them. It's COÖPERATIVE or just online classes in New Testament Greek or books with with software. So Brian, may the Lord lead you and guide you as you go. And please feel free. If you start to dig in and need more recommendations, feel free to write to us. All right. But thanks for being a longtime listener and thanks for your first call. Don't make it so long because you got 50 plus questions. Make sure we hear from you with some more. All right. God bless you, man. Thank you. I appreciate it. Eight, six, six, three, four. Truth. Let's go to Honolulu. Back to our friend Zach. Welcome to the Line of Fire.

Solo warrior races that they say, can I call again? Go ahead. Sure thing. All right.

I'll take all of us want to thank you for the warm welcome that you're getting in the past couple of times with Paul and really appreciate it.

Well, you know, you don't get as many current.

We were on the air live for a while in Honolulu, but we haven't been for some time. So when it's someone named Zach from Honolulu, it likes to call every few weeks. It kind of sticks in my head. So you'll you'll keep getting ready and welcome. Yeah.

Well, thank you so much. Best of luck to you. My question, what is your take on medical cannabis?

Give me an example of how it would be used.

Well, for example, I was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. I didn't serve in the Army or any of the services just from a lot of, you know, circumstantial stuff that I really don't have time to get into. But basically, you feeling anxiety, depression and stress. And it really has helped me out and helped me to focus and really kind of just sort of getting, you know, just get like that. I also, you know, I also use it. And then I read the word and then I pray and, you know, sometimes, you know, like on the church back, you know, on it when you see you use it.

How is it ingested?

Smokes bells are also, you know, vaporized or used in edibles or like you like, you know, like world spray or something to that effect.

Right. All right. So. So let me let me give you my nonprofessional non medical opinion. OK. Sure.

I'm glad that you've been helped in certain ways. That's positive. Yes. But I see this as different than, say, if someone is in excruciating pain in the hospital, then they get a morphine injection. Right. I see. That is as different. Do you know if the ingredients of of the medical cannabis. It is the THC have THC in it or CBD.

Are you aware. Yeah. Both.

Both. OK, yeah. So my concern is that all this is doing is masking real problems and that it is mind altering in a way that's unhealthy. And what I would what I would do is I would look for solid Christian counseling. They can get to the root of the traumas and bring healing from the Lord.

They actually used to go to. Yeah. I see a counselor and, you know, coupled with the cannabis to her, it was really effective. You know. All right.

Well, I think is there was yeah. As as a former heavy drug user myself, obviously using all kinds of things. It is. It is mind altering.

It is. It is it is giving a false impression of peace and well-being and stability and is is ultimately not constructive in terms of the mandate in scripture to be sober and vigilant. First puter, five million Freese's five were we are told not to be drunk with one to be filled with. The spirit is a conscious understand this is not drunkenness, but there is a contrast here of the spirit versus these things.

I'm quite sure Izak that if you really look to the Lord and if you'll work through solid Christian counseling to get to the root of the traumas, that you will not need this anymore and that ultimately it could do more harm than good, become addictive, something you're dependent on and something that's ultimately mind altering. She asked for my opinion.

I'm encouraging you to find a way to wean off of this. Get to the root of the issues and live a life that has healed and whole without this.

It's the line of fire with your host, Doctor Michael Brown, your voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown. Thanks for joining us.

Let's go to Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Derrick, welcome to the Line of Fire.

Hey, Dr. Brown, how are you doing? Well, thank you. Basically, I don't know how much the call screener told you, but I was had a question about Deuteronomy twelve fifteen through, I don't know, twenty six point seven. Yeah.

But basically, this seems to be describing if you're not in Jerusalem and you're in foreign lands or lands that are not, you know, work your way or God, is that it almost seems like it's permitting Bill to eat unclean meat. I would just wonder what.

Oh, no, no. OK, I see what you got. No, no. Here's what it's talking about. And thanks for the question. So an hour or call, we have one line to summarize what's happening. Swine. I knew the text you were looking at, but does the nature of the question what it's talking about. Right. The Israelites are now told there's going to be one place, one central city. They didn't they weren't told it's Jerusalem at that point. But there's one place where you are to bring your offerings. So the question is, according to Deuteronomy, twelve versus fifteen to 26. Does it say that you could eat uncleaned food if you were away from the sanctuary? No. What it says is this. What? What about if you just want to kill an animal to eat the animal? Right. You're not in Jerusalem. Are you allowed to do that because you can't sacrifice that animal to the Lord unless it's at the temple in Jerusalem? But can you kill an animal to eat it? If you're if you live somewhere else in Israel, somewhere else in the world, the answer is yes. Now, who can eat that? If you are participating in a sacrificial offering, you have to be ritually clean. Right. Let's say you and you are on your way to the temple to offer your sacrifice and you accidentally touched a dead body. Now you're ritually unclean and you have to wash that night and then you can be reintroduced to the camp and normal functioning the next day. Right. So this is saying verse fifteen. You may slaughter and eat meat within any of your towns as much as you desire. According to the blessing of the Lord. Your God is giving you the unclean and the clean may eat of it. So it's saying if you are ritually unclean, whereas you couldn't go into the temple to offer a sacrifice, you can go ahead and just eat meat in your own home or a village. But you don't have to be ritually clean to have a meal. It's not saying you can eat ritually unclean food. It's saying if you are ritually unclean, that you can go ahead and eat that food.

Follow. Yeah. And then he says, you can't drink the blood. So that would only be talking about obviously clean.

Right. Exactly. In fact, as it lists there, it lists the animals as of the gazelle. And as of the deer, in other words, animals that you could eat. Right. So, absolutely. So use the same dietary laws apply. You can't you can't drink the blood and just the blood.

You you can't eat the food of an unclean animal. However, if you are in a state of ritual and purity, you can eat the meal, but you couldn't participate in a temple function or something like that. So that's the answer to your question. I appreciate your asking. It's six six, three, four truth. Let's go to William in Chicago. Welcome to the Line of Fire.

Hi, Dr. Brown. Happy TGIF.

Thank you. Well, yeah. TGIF is relative. I mean, I love the Friday broadcasts, but then comes weekend of Glorious Ministry. So T.G., let's see. T.G. EDI's. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. All right.

So my question is, oh, by the way, I really enjoy your show, in fact, they discovered you on when I was watching Dr David Wood on his channel. I like you as a guest on his channel. And that's how I discovered discovered yourself. So my question is, do Jews worship the same God as Christians?

Yes and no. Do Jews worship the same God as Christians? The answer, yes or no. The reason I say yes is because Jews worship the God of the Old Testament and Christians worship the God of the Old Testament. They both refer to that God as opposed to all law as opposed to some other DLT as the one true God. They both look to that God as the creator of the universe and the only God, and they would define him the same way as merciful and compassionate, suffering and wholly unjust, etc.. On the other hand, Jews do not worship God as a tri unity. Jews do not worship Jesus as Lord or worship Jesus in any way. Jews would say that if I worship Jesus as Lord, that I am an idolater in doing so. And then Jesus in the New Testament challenges the Jewish leaders as to whether they really know who God is after all. So. On the one hand, yes. When a Jewish person is praying every day to God, to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, they are absolutely praying to the same God. We are praying, too.

On the other hand, in terms of our understanding of God and conception of God, then the answer would be no. There are different gods. And then the question is whose views rightly represent the God of the Old Testament? Because that's the path that we have in common. And that's where we have our debates and arguments of volume. Two of my five volume series answering Jewish objections to Jesus is where I get into this subject at greatest depth.

Very great. Thank you so much.

You are very welcome. Eight six, six, three, four truth. Hey, Adrian, Rene, thank you for your gift on Facebook. Let's go to Steven in Tampa, Florida. Welcome to the Line of Fire.

Hey, Dr. Brown, how are you? Doing well, thank you.

Thank you for taking my question. I have a lady who I was speaking to in our local church, and we kind of a conversation kind of steered toward theology a little bit. And she brought up Psalms 82. As you know, some people believe are Christians believe that their God right by Psalm 82 six. But in the in the context I was trying to tell her in the context of where it was read it it was saying, well, God is lowercase. It's also in parentheses. And if somebody were to tell me or you you are God, you're his son and you're his daughter, well, you're thinking, well, yeah, I'm a die am guy. Am his is right. But to her, it's speaking to her that no, we literally are guys because the angels also serve God and she just cannot understand that we are guys like we are God's son and daughter. And I wanted to get your expert, your wisdom of you know what. What did I miss? What is something I could have said? And I still have a relationship, so that can still come out. But thank you.

Right. So as as followers of Jesus, are we in any sense gods, can we save ourselves that we are gods? Even with a lowercase G. I assume your friend was not claiming that we are God capital G that we are somehow part of him. But I'm assuming your friend is not making a claim or was she.

God like God, there is one true God, but we individually, as a believer, are God. That's why the angels survive.

OK, got and right. So the I the question of in any sense, are we God so. Or divine beings, Kate. No. No one. The entire emphasis of the Bible is that God is God and we are his creation and we are here to serve him. So you have a verse or two about angels being here to serve us. All right. And examples of angels being here appointed to serve us. But the entire message of the Bible from beginning to end is that God created us. We are the creation. We are here to serve him. We are slaves. We are servants. We become part of his family as sons and daughters. But we do not become God in any sense of the word. The background to Psalm eighty two is its initial background would be in in a poly if the polytheistic setting of all of these different gods and then the chief God ruling over them. But when it comes into Israeli literature, it is it is God's rule over the angelic beings that are called gods, but will die and be destroyed because of their sin and rebellion. And then it's ultimately applied to human beings that the leaders in Israel could be called L.O. Heem God in a with a lower G because they had authority over other people and they made rulings on behalf of God. But the entire message of the Bible from beginning to end is that we are not God, that we are here to serve him, that we will stand before hand and be judge.

That is how we live here in his service determines everything.

I would just sit down with the enforcer, the reverse after verse after verse after verse, that we are slaves, that we are servants, that we are here to worship and bowed down to the one and only God period.

It's the line of fire with your host, Doctor Michael Brown. You're a voice of moral, cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown.

Let us go straight to the phones and we'll start in Burlington, North Carolina. Mike. Welcome to the Line of Fire.

Thank you, taking time calling enjoy your show. Tremendously. Thank you, sir. I guess I got a question and act to 38. Yeah. You know, he just said Tuesday, what will we do to this day? He said, repent and believe we can be baptized. Correct. Right. And then lifting jailer. Hey, this is what must I do about that? I believe our Lord Jesus Christ, you know. And besides that, the Jews have a different. And Genta are.

That's a great question. So the answer to your question is found in Acts Chapter twenty first twenty one. And there Paul says there are so acts. Twenty, twenty one. The question is, do Jews have one way of salvation. Repent because it's a Jewish crowd next to the Philippine jailer at sixteen being told believe the answer is no. There are two ways. There just two sides of the same coin. Paul said this is his message, testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance towards God and our faith and our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. So his message to both Jews and Greeks was repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus. So there are two sides of the same coin. On the one is turning back to God, turn away from your sin and turn back to God. How? By putting your faith in Jesus. So Peter has preached Jesus acts to 36. He closes this message that all the House of Israel know this God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord. And they say when they hear this, they're cut to the heart, say, what do we do? Repent. Be about us. You've rejected him. Now turn back and receive him and be baptized in his name. Right. So that is a call to put their trust in him. The Philippine jailer realizes, oh, my God, I have sinned. I'm guilty. What do I do? Believe in the Lord Jesus. Interestingly, and act 1730. Paul says God commands all men everywhere to repent. Right. That's a universal message. And the next 26 20, Paul says his message to everyone was one that people should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds to repentance and faith are two sides of the same coin. You can't have true repentance without true faith. You can't have true faith for that true repentance. Two sides of the same coin for everybody. But great question. I appreciate it. All right. Sure thing. You know, it's interesting that I when I saw the versus I thought, OK, it's going to be is it repent or is it believe? Which is it? But interesting question. Was it different audiences? Very interesting. All right. Let us go to Queens, New York. Jasmine, welcome to the Line of Fire.

Hello.

My question was I had a discussion with a friend's husband, and his question to me was, why not? Well, why just or how did they refuse to dump the porn?

But I was kind of wanting it out now.

Yeah. So it's it's really simple. Why do we have four gospels and not 15 or something? Well, only two of the gospels, Matthew and John, are attributed to any of the 12 apostles. Luke, was that one of the apostles and Mark was not one of the apostles. So all twelve apostles did not write gospels. They weren't all called to you know, we have we have 10 fingers in each finger has a different function. Right. In the same way, we have a whole body and the hands have a different function from the feet and the eyes from the mouth. So the apostles had different functions and most of them were not called to write gospels. That's why we have two perspectives from eyewitnesses that were there the whole time of the apostles and two other perspectives coming from different points of view. And then each one trying to reach a certain group in a certain way. So God want us to get one of us to get a multifaceted view of who Jesus was and felt that communicated in these different ways. We'd see him from enough angles to get a complete picture. It could have been three. It could have been five. This was just the right number to give us the full picture that God wanted us to have of Jesus. But most of the apostles were not even called to write gospels. They were called to spread the message into different regions. That's why we don't have 12 different testimonies from them. They weren't even all called to write books of the Bible like like Peter, write some letters, but the others didn't. So we have the stories, some of the stories about their ministries, but they weren't all called to write gospels. And these four give us the right picture.

All right, great. Just one quick thing.

Yeah, I mentioned that you had heard of gospel music and that it was authenticated. I know.

Oh, no, no, no. There there are there are later so-called gospels that are written 100 or 200 years later, and they are recognized as not being authentic. They were never accepted by the early crash.

They were never literally thought to go back to the apostles. So, yeah, those those types of books were never part of the Bible, were never received as such. And they were written much, much later. So they did. It was authenticated. Absolutely not. Hey, thank you. Thank you, Jasmine. Sure thing. Hey, we have a video. Why? Some books were not part of the Bible. Why they were left out. It's our consider this video if you're watching on YouTube. Just don't go now. You got to watch the rest of the show, but you can search for it later. Why were some books left out of the Bible or on our Web site, Starcher Brown dot org forward slash.

Consider this and you'll see are 10 latest videos, including can we know the name of God? But why were some books left out of the Bible? You'll find it to be really, really helpful. Hey, thank you again for the call. And Jenny, thank you for your gift on Facebook. We appreciate it. It's six six, three, four. Truth. Let us go to Darel in Atlanta, Georgia. Welcome to the Line of Fire.

Dr. Brown is honored to speak to you. Thank you, sir. I love your show, Dr. Brown. Two quick questions. I love Dennis Prager. I love Michael Medved.

Have you ever talked to these gentlemen, ever gone into the scriptures?

OK. Have I spoken to Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, about the Bible, about Jesus? Not directly and in depth. Michael Medved and I met years ago at a national religious broadcasters conference, maybe five or six years ago or something like that. And I was surprised that he knew me. And he I read some of the stuff in Hollywood versus American things like that. Appreciated his insight as an Orthodox Jewish man, modern Orthodox. But he had my five volume series on answering Jewish objections to Jesus on his shelves. He knew my work and considered me to be a scholar and was very, very respectful. Now, many people know that I wrote a multi volume series on answering Jewish objections to Jesus. But some people think it's four volumes. The people in the know know that it's five volumes. So that's that's significant that he had the five volumes set, that he respected my scholarship, that he gave me very kind words about that. But no, we've never sat down and had a dialog. We just met walking through the hotel at an Arby. Dennis Prager and I have interacted by phone a couple of times and by email a number of times. We've seen each other books. He sent me his commentary and Exodus. I just recently sent him my commentary on an Jobe because he and his wife of love, The Book of Job. Over the years we have talked about conservative moral issues. We have talked some about the Bible, but we have not talked specifically about Jesus or about my faith is a messianic youth. Now, I know he's been asked at different times to have a public debate or dialog with me. I think he was asked to debate me before he really knew who I was. But he declined the invitations. I don't think it's the kind of thing he does anyway. He seeks to work with evangelical Christians and be a support and help while saying that he respectfully differs about Jesus but feels it's good and healthy for evangelicals. And he's an advocate and an ally. It'd be wonderful if we could have a discussion. I think it'd be enlightening and helpful for all the same. If I could do it with Ben Shapiro, which I get asked about all the time. But yes, so we've interacted, but never in terms of getting into the word like I have with Rabbi Shmuley. And what does the Bible say about Jesus and salvation and atonement and things like that. So maybe one day you can pray for that.

Yeah, yeah, I, I well, was stretching all the way up hoping I could find something. And one last question. Are a minister by the name of Gino Jilting. Have you heard of him and what do you think about it?

I've heard of Gino Jennings, but I do not exactly remember what his work is about. I believe he's has a good following. Can you tell me what he's known for?

He got I believe he had very good insight on the scriptures. Lot of things I took for granted as far as knowing about Jesus, but he makes it clear that, you know, a lot of people think that Mary is the mother of God. But he says no, basically, she's the Mary mother of Jesus. Right. God has no.

Yeah. So I just just went I went to search Darryll.

I did remember. I imagine he would have good insights in a number of things. And yes, I would never say Mary's the mother of God. I would say she's the mother of the son of God in human form. She's the mother of Jesus. And there's a quite a distinction there. But Geno Jennings is one this Pentecostal, meaning that he denies God's try unity, God's eternal try unity. So we would have very significant differences over that, but perhaps many other areas of of commonality. I think some folks asked if we could ever do a debate on God's try unity. And I said I'd love to do it. That's probably why I heard his name. But beyond that, I don't think I've listened to a single one of his messages. So I would not be doing him justice by giving further commentary. Hey, Darryl, thanks for listening. Thanks for calling. Eight, six, six, three, four. Truth. I drive time. Let me just say this quickly. A colleague of mine read my newest book, Evangelicals at the Crossroads. You pass the Trump test. Read it in two days and said, wow, what a bookie. And felt it was superimportant. Had me send it to a friend of his. He said, this guy's going to order five cases to give out. And then my wife, Nancy, my number one critic far and away, who is always giving me input, you know, helping to correct and sharpen.

She's been reading the book and told Becka's, this is excellent. Like, I use my wife tells me the book was excellent. So that's that does it. That'll carry me from the next 30 years.

So check it out if you haven't ordered it yet. Evangelicals at the Crossroads. An important book in the election season.

It's the line of fire with your host, activist, author, international speaker and theologian, Dr. Michael Brown. Your voice of moral, cultural and spiritual revolution. Get into the line of fire now by calling eight six six reboard. True. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown.

So let me just say this last thing I'd ever tell intelligence at the crossroads. I'm really encouraged by the responses of readers that I'm getting, especially the ones that say, boy, this is fair.

And I've heard it from Trump supporters. And Trump opposes this is fair. And you really lay out the arguments and then point us in the direction that we need to go as God's people.

Honestly, I think it could be the most important book that you read during the election season and even after the election season. Relative to politics, read it relative to Donald Trump. Whatever your perspective, I think you'll find the book really helpful. That's why I wrote it. Spent a lot of months doing a lot of research. And the good news is that people saying it's very readable. The materials put in such a way, you can digest it and understand it. So what I encourage you to check it out, get a copy if you have it. Also next week, we're going to have a special offer that we send out the email where you can get a bunch of copies at a tremendous discount. So be sure you sign up for our e-mails. If you don't get my emails a couple of times a week, my E Iblis go right now to ask Dr. both driving, not fear driving, but since you have a second instructor, Brian SKG, your brown dot org right on the home page, just boom, click sign up, get our emails and we'll also send your really neat free mini e-book when you do. OK. Back to the phones. Joey and Southbridge, Massachusetts. Welcome to the Line of Fire.

Hi. Dr. Brabec taking my call. You're welcome.

I just had a question back from Peter.

Chapter two, first one through three.

I have encountered several people who use that first to claim that that person was to turn out like James or Steven for them or even one lady here. One of the established robots. I mean, you were a false thing to let me because you were praying for a father. Come upon people, black and brown survival. I found that. I found out pretty stuff. Check this out.

Yeah. Hey, Joey, I've just got to. I'm going to answer. It's really hard to hear you, but I understand your question. Who is a false teacher? According to Second Peter? Chapter two.

First, it's really grievous that people will so freely throw that around. There's very little understanding when they do a second. Peter two is talking about people who introduced. Damnable heresies and lead people to destruction. So to say, for example, that Steven Fertig at Elevation Church is a false teacher preaching damnable heresies. That's that's a very obscene and extreme charge and almost even personal friends of mine that do know him. I've heard snippets of part of his messages, but I've never heard a hint of anything that would be a damnable false doctrine. Daniel, false doctrine. Jesus didn't rise from the dead. A damnable false doctrine would be that there are many ways of salvation outside the cross. Damnable false doctrine would be that that you have to earn your salvation by your good works. A damnable false doctrine would be that there are many different causes, not just one God. A damnable false doctrine would be that God does not require repentance or holy living from his people, that you can live however you want to live. And it's all the same to God. Those would be damnable false doctrines and they're all false teachers who teach those things. And the deceptions of Mormonism and Jehovah's Witnesses, those are those are the false teachers that that second Peter is talking about. So, yeah, I get I get attacked all the all the time. I just feel bad for the people doing it because here we are offering riches from the word of God, the treasures of the word of God to God's people, offering them, seeking to help.

And then someone puts out stupid videos, attack. I feel bad for the people that put them out. I feel bad for the people that watch these every year.

But you pray for. Yeah. I pray for people. I pray for. Probably tens of thousands of people. That was my condensed way of praying for the Holy Spirit to touch them for the Holy Spirit, the fire of God, to touch them, to burn in their heart, to give them fresh passion, fresh hunger, fresh desire from God for God, fresh empowerment. It was a multi-phase prayer. And so while praying for literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people in a night, laying hands on people as they come for prayer, if I prayed the fully articulated prayer for everyone, I pray for about three or four people in the course of an hour or two. So, yeah, I do that to this day. It's a simple can. That's why God knows when I'm praying. Fire Lord, the five year spirit, the fire of your presence, the fire of holy. That's the fire of love for you. The fire of spiritual hunger, the fire spiritual thirst. And on and on. That's that's what I pray for. That's what I cry out for. Yeah. You better believe I'll keep doing it for Stich. That shows, as you said, Joey, tremendous objectivity, not just objectivity, tremendous ignorance of scripture. And as far as anything I teach, as far as any core doctrines I teach or preach, I challenge anyone. I challenge any critic. Let's have a debate on that. Any core doctrine that I preach or hold to any foundational doctrine or any major thing that I hold to not not the possible interpretation of one verse, one word in Hebrew, Greek that go either way or things where Christians divide even the areas where Christians divide.

Anything that I teach or preach, I will joyfully just using the Bible, debate that subject with any critic, with anyone qualified. It's got to be a qualified person. Be fair joyfully, because my faith is based on the word of God. Hey, Joey, thank you for the call. It's six, three, four. Truth be very careful whom you brand. The false teacher. A false teacher is a damnable heretic and a damned heretic. A false teacher is not here. I'm charismatic. I'm a hundred percent convinced by scripture that the gifts and power of the spirit continue to this day. There are Christian friends, brothers and sisters who love Jesus, who differ with me on that. Should I call them false teachers if they are teaching a leading in ministry saying tongues is not they prophecy is not for the. Should I brand the false teachers? God forbid. And they, conversely, brand me false teacher for teaching what the Bible says, unless, God forbid. Be very careful, be very careful. These are very serious terms in scripture. We do not want to throw them around lightly and this used them. And again, I'm unaffected. The only way to fix me is I want to help more people. And I don't get to help them. I don't get to bless them. I don't get to serve them. All right. Back to the phones. Let's go to Natalie in Knightdale. There's. You know, Natalie and I've lived in North Carolina since 2003, but I don't believe I've encountered Knightdale. What what city is that there?

Right there. Right outside of Raleigh. All right. How big a community is it?

Model. All right. Welcome back. My question is pertaining to Matthew. Well, I'm thirty one and thirty two. Basically states that any sin and blasphemy will be forgiven except the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. So my question is, what does that look like? And if someone were to truly repent from their art, if they did commit this, then are they forgiven or are they currently condemned? What does that look like?

Right. So what is the unforgivable sin, blasphemy of the spirit? Can someone repent of that? Natalie, first, let me refer you to a video on our Web site. S Director Brown dot org české dear Brown the word or the S Director Brown YouTube channel SKG or Brown about the blasphemy of the spirit or the unforgivable sin if you search for that. I've got a teaching video and that that's a few minutes long.

The context we also have in Mach three where it says that Jesus said these things because the religious leaders were saying he had a demon. So he was healing the sick and he was driving out demons by the power of the spirit. But they were attributing it to demons. And that's why he said what he said about blasphemy of the spirit as an unforgivable sin. So my understanding is that the blasphemy of the spirit is crossing a line with a severe hardness of heart, after which there will be no repentance. It is knowingly and willfully attributing, knowingly and willfully attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil. It's not based on ignorance. Look, Paul persecuted other followers of Jesus. He had them put to death. But he says in First Timothy one, God have mercy on me because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. Some years ago there was this fad where people were putting videos online. Young and old alike saying, I blaspheme the spirit. And I watched and thought probably ninety nine point nine nine nine nine percent. And I have no idea what they're saying. And one day they'll give their testimonies. One day they'll say, I was one of those people. In fact, I've got to do that one day on social media and asked folks, hey, was that you? Were you one of those that made one of those videos and then you got saved and ask God to forgive you. So when we do things in ignorance and in unbelief, maybe a sinful heart, a hardened heart, but we don't fully understand the weight of what we're doing. That's always forgivable. Those that would cross this line, they understand, is they'll never want to to repent. They'll never look to God. They have made a a quality decision against him and will not repent. Again, our video that asks the question, what is the blasphemy of the spirit? You can watch that and ask Dr. Brown dot org. Addressing unforgivable sin. But, Natalie. Anyone? Anyone. Yeah. What is the best view of the spirit? There you go. So just search for that on our Web site. We get into that a little bit more. But anyone at any time that comes to God says, God, I've. Forgive me. He will do that because no one who is committed an unforgivable sin and cross that line will ever do that. This is those coming to him can be assured that God is drawing them and that God will have mercy on them.

Hey, remember, remember, you don't get my e-mails. Go right now to ask Dr. Brown dot org. Click the sign up for me us, because we got a special announcement next week.
