This is the Truth Network. Kingdom Pursuits, where you hear from ordinary people instilled with an extraordinary passion. Together we explore the stories of men and women who take what they love and let God turn their passion into kingdom pursuits.

Now, live from the Truth Booth, your host, Robbie Dilmore. What a treat we have for you today on Kingdom Pursuits as we have. An amazing concert coming to Triad Baptist Church. And here with Triad Baptist Church, we have. Jeremy Chandler.

So Jeremy, welcome to Kingdom Pursuits. Good morning. Good morning. How y'all doing? We're excited.

I mean, Natalie Grant, this is huge. Yeah, Natalie Grant's awesome. She's been around for a while. She's a Grammy winner. A Dove Award winner.

Her husband is pretty incredible. He's written a lot of our great Christian songs and contemporary worship songs.

So we're really excited about having them at Triad Baptist next Saturday. Yeah, the doors are going to open at six, and so. Triad Baptist, you guys got a lot going on, right? Yeah, we've got something going on all the time. We keep our doors open, which is great.

We love it. We like to have a lot of. events and activities, and so we stay pretty busy. Yeah, that's that's amazing. And so Share with us a little bit about Natalie Grant, for those people who are not familiar, you know, with some of her songs, that kind of thing.

Yes, she's got some great hits. One of my favorites is King of the world. She recorded Praise You in the Storm. Her husband Bernie wrote that for Casting Crowns, but she recorded that as well.

So they'll talk about that at the show. She's her one of her her latest singles, I guess, is Your Great Name, Great Song. She does just a lot of powerful worship music. And it's just going to be a very uplifting, high-energy night of worship and storytelling.

So, that's one of the cool things about the show. is she and her husband will tell a lot of stories. um about how they met their testimonies and how their marriage and what that's been like living in Nashville. And then they'll tell stories behind the songs, how they came to wrote s write some of the songs that they've written. And so it's a pretty cool experience.

It's a very kind of intimate experience. We've got a great venue at our church to do that in, and so we're really excited about that. Perfect. Yeah, and so, you know, in the description of the event, it says an evening with Natalie Grant featuring. Bernie Hermes.

Is Bernie Hermes your husband? That's her husband. Yep, that's her husband. And they'll they'll tell the story of how they met. I've actually seen the show before.

I saw it in Durham a couple of years ago. and just thought this would be really great to bring to our community because it was so powerful and so encouraging. And so both of them are there together. He plays the uh the grand piano, and so it's You know, I often feel like he's kind of like Michael W. Smith.

You know, he's very talented on the piano and so that just together they do a really great performance. Yeah, it's pretty exciting. And Uh It really is very exciting, actually, Jeremy. And when I think about it, But we've got a lot of listeners in Ohio. We've got some in Virginia, all over Virginia, from Portsmouth down to.

Um Lynchburg and places like that. We also have listeners in Charlotte and Raleigh, and as well as South Carolina and both Spartanburg and Greenville. And so For those folks You know, they probably never heard at Curtisville.

So, can you kind of direct them, like, man, how are they going to get here? And this is worth coming. I mean, in my opinion, it certainly is.

Well, Kernersville is a small town kind of nestled right in between Winston-Sale and Greensboro and High Point.

So we're right off of the interstate, easy to get to. We like to tell people we're across from the big Walmart, because there's a little Walmart and a big Walmart in Kernersville. We're across from the big Walmart on Main Street. In Kernersville, it's a great little town. A lot of little places to eat.

We're excited. We're having five and two brew coffee truck before the show, and our concession will be open as well.

So, you know, if you need some. snacks or water, we'll we'll have you covered. But Kernersville is a great little town to just Come and grab a bite to eat, come and see this show, be encouraged and inspired, and we know people will love it. Yeah, absolutely. And again, if you're If you're on Business 40, or what we call Business 40, in our neck of the woods in Western Salem, it's actually the Main Street exit.

Again, you can just. When you get your tickets, they'll give you the address there. Um tickets are on long and again if you go to um John Baptist or you guys use your initials, I suppose, to Is it yeah, it's T B C now? TBC Now T B C N O W. Yeah, tbcnow.org is where you can click on that link, and then you can see one of their big.

Menu items is namely grants. And you can click on that and get your tickets. Of course, it will have the address. The doors are going to open at six. You know, it's just absolutely.

amazing opportunity to you know, to see what God's doing out there in worship. Um Um So Jeremy, your your role with Triad Baptist Church is what?

Well, I'm the communications director.

So I'm one of the staff members who works on large events and just. gatherings and discipleship.

So, wow, you had to be excited when you were able to see this event and then be able to get it for your church. I can't imagine. You know, I guess Gifts or talents God gives us, it's kind of cool when you can feel his pleasure, right? Right. Oh yeah, for sure.

And we just felt like we prayed, we prayed for a while, our staff, about who we would want to bring in. We like to do this every couple of years, a large concert like this. For our community and just for people, for people to enjoy. And so we really prayed about it. And when we were able to get Natalie Grant, we were very excited because we know this is a good show.

We know that God's going to be glorified and that people are going to be encouraged. Yeah, it's really cool. Again, it's at Triad Baptist Church, which is 1175 South Main Street in Kernersville. But again, if you don't know where Carnersville is, as Jeremy described, it's right on the Interstate 40 between uh Greensboro, North Carolina. I went to Salem, North Carolina.

So uh definitely going to be you know, worth the opportunity to to to drive To uh to go and see this amazing event. And so If you mentioned Greensboro, if it's okay, I just want to give a plug. We added Parker, Webb and Guilford, which is a worship band out of Green Street Baptist in Greensboro. But a great band. They're going to be the opening act.

And so we're really excited to have them on the schedule, too. Really? Yeah, that is awesome. And so Those folks familiar with that group, you're going to be able to see all this stuff. It's happened.

The show starts at 7. How how long do you think it's going to go?

Well, it'll be about a two-hour show. We're gonna do a fifteen-minute intermission. in there, but you know.

So by 9 o'clock, 9.15, so not a real late night, but it'll be a it'll be packed with a lot of great music and stories. Yeah, and so again, this is next Saturday night, a week from today. Um the you know, the the doors are gonna open at six o'clock, so you'll have plenty of time to To make your way in there, kind of that kind of thing. And the show itself starts with the opening act out of Greensboro. And so you again, you can go to their website, which is tbcnow.org.

And again, click on the Natal Natalie grant and you'll be able to get tickets for that. That's It's really um A really cool opportunity. And so, what when you how long have you been with Triad Baptist? Jeremy? Yeah, I've been there 14 years.

So I've been there for a while. Wow. Did you come on staff originally? I did. I came on staff 14 years ago.

I taught high school in a Christian school in the area for about 15 years. And I was just ready for a change and to do something a little bit different. And our pastor, Rob Becker, His son and I are really good friends, and so Pastor Rob said, well, if you're thinking about changing, making a career change or a ministry change. why don't you consider coming here? And so we I joined the staff 14 years ago.

The church is quite a bit smaller. We've seen a lot of growth. Through the years, and we're excited about that. But it's really been a great 14, and it's been a fast 14 years. Isn't it amazing how quickly things could go?

Well, we gotta go to a break. When we come back, we got some surprises for you on Kingdom Pursuits.

So you want to stay tuned, as well as an opportunity to play shenanigans. We're going to be doing that with Little Pottery quiz when we come back.

So stay tuned a whole lot more. We actually have tickets to Navajo Grat Popper. We're going to be giving away.

So you want to stay tuned for the next segment coming up. Change the first weeks. We'll be right back. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits where we hear how God takes your passion. And uses it to build the kingdom.

So exciting today, we're talking about the Natalie Grant. Concert coming to Triad Baptist Church.

Next Saturday, the door is going to open at six o'clock. We've got tickets that we're going to give away some. But um Jeremy, how much are the tickets for people that that want to buy it? They've got tickets for thirty dollars and forty five dollars. We had VIP tickets and they've sold out, but we still have both Gold Circle and General Admission tickets.

So thirty to forty five dollars based on where you want to sit. And there's no bad seat.

So there you go. As we get ready, um We're going to have $60 worth of tickets to give away, so I think Grayson has time to play shenanigans. Fun begins 'Cause now it's time to flation and a game Yes, and we were supposed to have another guest on today talking about the potter and the clay.

So We're going to talk about pottery for a minute, Jeremy. Have you ever been on to play shenanigans with us before? I have not. You haven't. Um What's going to happen is Grayson's going to play my joke music here in a second.

And there it is. And as I tell these riddles, you get a chance to play with Grayson to see if you can guess the riddle. And at the end, we have the fourth riddle that listeners will be able to call in and guess and to win these tickets.

So, with that said. What do you do if your pottery furnace explodes? And then Grace says, What do you do if your pottery furnace explodes? Sure, what would I do? What do you think, Jeremy?

I think you grabbed the fire extinguisher. Yeah. That's true. Or you could you could notify the next kiln. Oh, that's good.

Yes, there you go. Or. You may know the name of the greatest knight of the night's round table who made pottery, if you heard of him. Great. No, uh maybe.

The greatest knight of the round table who made pottery. Have you got it, Jeremy? Is it uh sir clay a lot? Uh I like that for play a lot. It's ceramic.

Sir Amit. Mm-hmm. That's pretty good, right? Am I met? I once met a lizard that sold pottery door to door.

You don't read too many of them. I guess he was sort of a Geico guy. Um What was this Luffy gifting that got me ideas from grace? No, uh uh. Bye.

You got an idea of Germany. You know I don't on this one. I'm at a wall. The man could really rep tile. You know?

Mm-hmm. So you know at the end of those shenanigans, we actually would have a riddle. For you to call in and win today. And so, with that said, again, Jeremy and Grayson won't answer this one for you. You got to call in with the answer to 866-348-7884.

We have two of those Madley Grant tickets waiting for you. If you can tell us who was the original. Cracks taught in the Bible. Actually, I'll give you a hint. He's in the Old Testament and he was the original crackpot.

If you got that answer, you call us 866-348-7884. And if they can guess that, raise him, tell them what they'll win.

Well Robbie don't win a ticket to a concert. Absolutely. You're going to win those tickets to the Natalie Grant. Sponsored after the sixty hours live you and All you have to do is call 866-348-784 and tell them to his original cracked cod. In the Bible.

Again, if you can. I can be able to make the classes here in Ohio or You know, way up somewhere and they're not gonna make it. Uh we have normal pinnacle produced fries long with Yep. Kingdom Previews, Backstratcher, and Books, etc.

So you call us. Eight, six, six. 348-78848-634TRU. Thank you, Grayson. That was fun.

I'm hoping you enjoyed that, Jeremy. Yeah, it's great. Yeah. Why do you think it's transformed? Feel free to use any of that materials if you want to.

That's right. You know, um, I I I love a good dad joke as anybody can tell you, and so it's kind of fun to play that again. I missed it last week 'cause I couldn't do the show, so Okay.

Meanwhile, getting back to this Nadley Grant concert, If you're just tuning in, we want to let you know that they are Triad Baptist Church in Kernsville, is having an evening. with that a grant and her husband, which is a Uh world class keenest and it's going to be an amazing event. His name is Bernie Hermes. And they've got a opening act from Greensboro as well, and so it's going to be going on. Our doors open at six.

And uh Uh the show goes from seven to nine. And so, what a neat thing. And I love the fact, I really do, Jeremy, that it's an answer to prayer, and that Brad Tryad. you know, really seeks to lord on how to bring events like this into our area. And it was greatly, greatly appreciated.

Yeah, we we do a lot of the special events. We do a lot of community outreach, but we don't do anything without consulting God first. We really want His spirit and His presence. And in all things, we want to glorify God. And we really feel like this Show that Natalie Grant and Bernie Hearns are that they're going to do really does exalt and glorify God.

And it's just so encouraging.

So that's what we want to do: encourage people there and kind of. chaotic times that we feel sometimes. Yeah, and and I you know, kind of hate that the VIP. Tickets are gone, but just to whet your appetite from the next VIP church as I understand. Here, that if you uh had gotten the VIP experience, right, that starts at five.

And if you've if you've somebody said, Hey, I got these tickets, we're going to go to this VIP. experience with Natalie Grant. You got baked lasagna, fettuccine, Alfredo. Salad, breadsticks, cheesecake, and fruit topping, along with coffee and tea. Each VIP guest will also receive a special swag bag.

have the opportunity to select seating in the front three rows. Plus, bottles of water while you're sitting there, right? Right. So we're covering everything, and you'll get to. See Natalie Grant for a few minutes before the show, which is pretty cool.

So we're excited about that. Oh, so the VIP people will get to see Natalie as well. and have a chance to do a little bit of a meet and greet there. That's really neat. That starts at five, so those people were going to come for that dinner and Oh, that'd be amazing.

That's really, really wonderful. And you can see the kind of thought and planning That you guys so how far out in advance do you start working on something like this, Jeremy?

Well, we started talking with different agencies in last November. But really in January, early January, we made we were able to secure Natalie Grant, Bernie Herms. And we kind of saw it after this show because like I said, I saw it in Durham with my small group. We went to see them in concert at another church and just thought this was so powerful and so encouraging that I wanted to try to bring it to Kernersville. And so we were able to work all the details out in January, and we've been planning ever since.

We've been getting it together and organizing and selling tickets.

So it's been a you know, it's been a a few several weeks worth of work, but it's worth it. Oh yeah, oh yeah, and And unto God be the glory. Obviously, as people get a chance to worship Him and a really neat way to to have something that your family can go out to on a Saturday night. And really get a chance to experience God in a very unique way. Um And you know, any time you go to a concert like that, Um it it It's something that you kind of cherish in your heart because I think music touches a special place.

inside of all of us, don't stink Jeremy. Yeah, I think so. You know, music's a big part of my life. We we do a lot of Musicals at Christmas and Easter at the church, and so I feel like I've got music going on all the time and. There's just something powerful and encouraging about worship music and Christian music, you know, gospel music.

It's very uplifting and very just sometimes will pull you out of the dark places. Wow. And so when you're when you're going to Like you you probably just finished your Easter musical, and so what what all role did do you have in that process?

So for Easter, we do our choir director does an Easter concert. And he d he pretty much does all that work. We may do some supplying with some drama. 'Cause that's that's more what I do as the drama end. Um and so they do a great job.

Our choir Does that. You can actually watch it on YouTube if you wanted to. And then for Christmas, we always do a big Christmas show that's kind of a musical.

So a lot of times it's something that we write original, you know, an original show with a lot of familiar Christmas music. This past Christmas we did took the classic story, The Gift of the Magi, and turned it into a stage musical.

So we do, we get creative and we do a lot of things like that because we know that sometimes people won't come to church. on a Sunday morning, but they may come to something like a Christmas show or an Easter concert or a Natalie Grant concert.

Okay, that's amazing. That's really, really cool. And again, or even a great opportunity to you know, invite your neighbor to an Easter project tour or to a name to a Natalie Grant concert or some you know, That's an opportunity to witness to people in a really cool way because I'm Fairly certain that that would be right. I imagine there's going to be some kind of gospel presentation there as well, right? There definitely will be there.

We always include that, and we're excited. that um that's just part of Natalie, Grant and Bernie. That's part of who they are. Parker Webb, I mentioned earlier, who's coming out of Guilford, he's a worship pastor in Greensboro, but he's got a band. And I mean, he's so focused and so driven on just spreading the gospel through song and worship.

So we're really excited about that too. Yeah, you get to double whammy, believe me with With Parker Webb. He's going to share. I can guarantee it. He he is amazing.

I've heard him before.

So you got him, Bernie Hearns, and of course, Natalie Grant, all come with a triad. Baptist Church this Saturday night. Like, man, it's a week from tonight. That's going to be happening at the Triad Baptist Church on Main Street in Kernsville, North Carolina. We'll be right back with a whole lot more.

Welcome back to King of Pursuits, where we hear how God takes your passion. and uses it to build the kingdom we're so blessed to have with us today. Uh Jeremy with Triad Baptist Church, uh picturing there. concert that's coming up a week from today, next Saturday, With Natalie Grant, her husband, Bernie Hermes. He is gonna be accompanying her.

It's gonna be amazing. as as well as Parker Webb is the opening act. It starts The doors open actually at 6 o'clock. The concert's at 7. And again, that's going to be happening at Triad Baptist Church next week.

But we've got tickets and we want to give a couple away. All you got to do is call in and share. Or my riddle, you know, who? Who was the original crackpot in the Bible? 86634, the number to call in and win these tickets, which we want you to win.

866-348-7884. 866-348-7884. And by the way, We have never had a caller in the history of Kingdom Pursuits nearly 20 years that did not win.

So. Yeah. We can help you out, and I'm going to help you out with a little hint since nobody's called just yet. See, the idea of cracking a pot would make you a crack pot, right? And there is a pretty famous character in the Old Testament.

that was known for talking about cracking some pots. Makes a wonderful Sunday school lesson, by the way. If you want to teach, you can bring a pot along and crack it when you go to share this particular story. It's in the Old Testament. Ha ha ha ha.

You just gotta call us. with that crackpot, eight six six three four eight 7884 is the number to call in and share. We want to get you those tickets. Come on, you can just get just swag it if nothing else. You know, just guess what it might be.

866-348-448. seven eight eight four or so Again, Jeremy Chandler with Triad Baptist Church. Jeremy, what's some of the other things that you wanted to make sure you got said about the event tonight, tomorrow, next Saturday?

Well, I would come early. The door is open at six. It's open seating based on where you purchase tickets, which are just the front section and then the kind of the middle section. But like I said, we have a coffee truck that's going to be there. They do coffee and smoothies, hot, cold coffee, iced coffee and then fruit smoothies.

uh five and two brew it's a christian company i love them because They're named five and two, five. uh after the loaves and the fishes from the Bible. And so they'll be there. They'll have their truck set up in our parking lot beginning at about 4:30 that afternoon. And then I mentioned too, our concession stand will be open.

And uh so you'll just want to come and and pick your seat out, get a good seat, get some coffee, check out the merch tables if you want, and just be prepared for a great night of worship and some great stories and testimony. Yeah, and it's good. It's so easy to get to no matter where you are in the triad for sure, even if you're in Raleigh or Sharma. It's right off of actually Business Forty or Interstate forty on the Main Street. in Kernersville.

It's kind of neat that Kernersville is kind of in between the two forties that go between Winston-Salem and Curtisville. And uh Main Street's pretty easy to access. And again, Triad Baptist Church kind of just You know, like you said, it's right across from the big Walmart. Um you know, kind of in I guess I would call that the shopping district of Kernesville, right? Yes, we're South Main Street and so a lot of shops and all of little restaurants, a lot of good little places to eat right across from us.

Which is good because, you know, I work there every day, so I've got a place to go to lunch every day. Different place to go to lunch. Yeah, and they have a wonderful pastor, Rob Becker, um And so if you've been there for fourteen years, All right. Can you share with us a little bit about what you think the you know, wh what has brought some of the growth there to the church. Yeah, you know, our pastor is just very humble, and he's a people person.

He loves people. And his heart has always been to invest into the next generation, to the younger people.

So we've got a great. A youth pastor, we've got a great children's pastor. He's been there 30 years and is phenomenal. But we uh and we've got a Christian school and our Christian school has really grown now to over 600 students. And it's just doing great.

But we we just believe in investing into the next generation and to try to to Give them the strength and the tools and the biblical power. To really become the next generation of our leaders. And so we're training people. All the time to just serve God and to glorify God in whatever capacity that they're in.

So I love that about our church, and I think that's probably created a lot of the growth that we've had. That's absolutely wonderful.

Well, we got Jackson. Is calling any as an answer for us in this crackpot story?

So, Jackson, you're on Kingdom Pursuits. Good afternoon or good morning. Good morning. It's Jack. Oh, Jack, I'm sorry.

Well, Jack, do you have an answer for us? Is it Elijah the prophet?

Well, there's no doubt that Elijah probably cracked some pots in his day. And so we're gonna get to you. We'd love to get you those tickets. And if it he was probably following the act of Gideon, 'cause, you know, Gideon had a Oh, yeah, those pots. It's such a neat story.

I'd love to do it in Sunday school, but freaked out a few. other teachers in my time because I I love to take, you know, like a pottery pot and you put a torch up inside of it and When you do that, if you think about that at night, right? That you when you walk into the dark classroom, and when you crack that pot and that torch just lights up, and then you know. A sword for the Lord and Gideon. That's a lot of fun.

I remember now reading that. Yeah, it's about a bagpot idea.

Well, thank you for calling in, Jack. Enjoy that concert. That's going to be amazing. Thank you. Yeah, looking forward to it.

All right, God bless. Talk to you same machine. Mm-hmm. Bye-bye. We got through the crackpot riddle anyway.

We made it. Yeah. What was your guess, by the way? I would love to know.

Well, I was thinking, Gideon. I kind of remember that story from Gideon, but then when he said Elijah, I thought that might be right. That might be the right answer.

So there's a definite connection there.

Well, there's no doubt that Elijah had. you know Several crazy experiences, you know, fed by the birds and And when that when you think about crackpots, he he kind of does meet the criteria in its own way, right? I think so. I agree. Yeah.

That's that's a beautiful thing anyway. Um So again, getting back to the Natalie Grant concert is coming up. A week From today and Um So from your standpoint, like I've seen some of the The videos that you guys have posted there, which by the way, that's fairly entertaining. You know, how did you select some of these are pretty wonderful? A night of worship at Triad Baptist Church at Curtisville.

How do we select the videos? Right, right. I'm I'm curious. Yeah, we've got a really creative drama team there. We call them scripted.

And I get to work with that team. And so I kind of pulled them together and said, help us just create some good marketing pathways for this. Of course, Natalie Grant sent in one. Watch Natalie and Bernie and just see who they are and hear them talking about the show. They sent us one.

That was great. But we do a lot of For social media and for the website, we do a lot of videos and just a lot of things to try to catch people's attention. Again, we're always looking for how we can capture that next generation, get their attention and draw them in.

So that's probably the biggest way we do that. Yeah, I love that. And so you Your drama ministry scripted um Tell me about their role in the church. That sounds awesome. The primary role, the primary function that we work on the most is the Big Christmas Show.

We'll start in July. And that's typically the first weekend of December. And like I said, it's a full stage. It's a musical. Typically, it's written in-house by us.

And with great music.

So that's kind of their primary function. But we do a lot of entertainment for upward sports and For videos, like I said, we'll do a lot of video things. A video announcement, that's what the video announcements is what really captures attention. We gotta go with the break. We'll be right back.

A lot more with Jeremy with Triad Baptist Church and the concert coming up next Saturday night. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits, where we hear how God takes your passion. And uses it to build a kingdom today.

So blessed to have with us Jeremy Chandler. with Triad Baptist Church and talking about their amazing Nadelae Grant and her husband's concert coming up this Saturday night. It's going to be at seven o'clock. But you want to get there early? The doors open at six.

They're going to have all sorts of A coffee truck, truck and other things that you can take part in, getting ready for the concert, get the good seats. come in at six o'clock. You can get your tickets, just go to Um The the website is Or excuse me, it's TBC now, T is in Tom, B isn't boy, C is in cat now, dot O R G. And then you when you do, you'll easily see the Natalie grant and you can purchase your tickets right there. And from what I understand, they're thirty dollars For general admission and the forty five dollar ones are a little bit better seat.

Yeah, that's our gold circle.

So that's the front section. There's a feeding chart on our website.

So if you go to our website, TBCnow.org. You can see that seating chart and that'll help you. But like I said, there's no bad seats in our worship center. That's where we have service on Sunday mornings. And so you'll have a great seat.

Yes, I've been there. It is, there are no bad seats. It is a wonderful sanctuary, and that's going to. going to really be exciting. Thrilled we got a chance to cover that today.

Uh often, you know. Since I've got you for another few minutes here, Jeremy, people always love to hear your personal story, like how you came to know Jesus.

Well, yeah, I love to share that story. I grew up with great godly parents in a Christian home. when I was a child, um about six years old. I had a lot of questions about salvation. In fact, I always kind of joke about I hung around with the pastor's kids when I was little.

And every Sunday they would tell me to go to the altar. They wanted me to go to the altar so I would not go to hell. But I just wasn't ready to do that. I didn't understand it. But the time that I finally understood it, My Sunday school teacher, who is the pastor's wife.

Took me down to the altar and she went through sin and explained sin with me to make sure that I really understood that. And I got saved that morning. I got baptized. the next Sunday, which was Valentine's Day, so that was fun. But as a teenager, I started struggling with just trying to figure out who I was and what God wanted to do with me.

And you start having doubts and questions. I remember my grandpa was just a very godly man. And so I went and talked to him because my thought was maybe I'm not even saved. But I just remember him sharing opening the Bible and just sharing with me that salvation is our pursuit of God and of holiness and doing the right things. And so it could be that God's just challenging or convicting me.

And that's really where I felt the call to full-time ministry. I was in seventh grade. And I just felt that call to full-time ministry. And I didn't know what that looked like or what that was going to be. Uh later after high school, you know, I taught in a Christian school for 15 years.

And now I'm in ministry as a communications director and I work with mentoring and discipleship. And I've got my hands in a little bit of everything, which is pretty fun for me because I'm a I'm a very creative person. I like to be busy. And I like to be creative. And so the Lord's just given me a great spot to do that at Triad Baptist.

It's just given me that Vehicle, if you will, to help people find. the kingdom of God, to pursue the kingdom of God. through visual arts and through creative methods. That's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

Again, We'll remind everybody that next Saturday night, that's a week from today, The doors are going to open at six. It's an evening with Natalie Grant featuring Bernie Hermes, her husband. Will accompany her, and then you've got Parker Webb as an opening act from Guilford County. And again, they're both going to be an amazing time of worship with a lot of other neat stuff. Tell them again about the coffee truck situation there.

Yeah, I'm really excited about that. That's actually some of my nephews own a coffee truck. called Five and Two Brew, and it's all based around the loaves and the fishes. And they have excellent coffee, really great coffee. I'm not just saying that.

But they have coffee, iced coffee, fruit smoothies. And so they'll have their truck parked out in our Parking lot before the concert. And then, of course, we'll have our concession open during the concert. If you know, if you need some MMs or some a bottle of water to drink, we'll have that available at low prices, not at stadium prices.

So we're just doing this really for our community and to draw them in. We really love Kernersville. We're right in the heart of Kernersville. you mentioned that it's right surrounding Greensboro, High Point and Winston Salem. And so we love to do the outreach, as much outreach as we can in our community.

And we're really excited about next Saturday, I know you will not want to miss it. It's going to be an awesome event. Yeah, I absolutely am excited about it. Unfortunately, I'm kind of homebound due to the accident I can't Get out of my house for another couple, three weeks. But in the meantime, I would love to.

So we just have a a A couple more minutes, uh Jeremy. did we get any did we miss anything you wanted to be sure you could you mentioned?

Well, I just want to make sure everybody knows tickets are still on sale until we sell out. And we're pretty close to selling out, but we still have great seats in both sections. the gold circle and the general admission tickets. You can go online to tbcnow.org to get those. You'll get to hear Natalie Grant sing songs like King of the world and blessed assurance and praise you in the storm and hear her husband Bernie and their story.

of marriage and of Being celebrities and serving God and working in the local church. And I'm also excited to have Parker Webb and Guilford there. They're a great worship band. Local, and they're going to do a great job.

So, we're really excited to have them there as well.

So, I mean, this is a great family event, it's all ages. And uh or it's a great date night. You know, if you just want to do a date night, so it's it's gonna be great. TBC.
