This is the Truth Network. This is the Truth Network. Kingdom Pursuits, where you hear from ordinary people instilled with an extraordinary passion. Together we explore the stories of men and women who take what they love and let God turn their passion into kingdom pursuits.
Now, live from the Truth Booth, your host, Robbie Dilmore. Yes, it's Palm Sunday Eve today on the Kingdom Pursuits and how fun. We have quite a Palm Sunday Eve. Line up for you today. First off, we have Melissa Briggs.
And she, as you might know, would be near and dear to my heart. And she Does a class called Explore Hebrew, Hebrew, excuse me, Explore Hebrew for beginners. And so welcome, Melissa. Good morning. Thank you for having me.
So fun, especially right here. At Passover, in fact at our church, we're having a Passover Seder this coming Friday. And um but at the same time, there's some Basic Hebrew words, a lot of people don't even know they know, but also, it's also helpful to know some of the basics, right? Absolutely. Yeah, I think that there are some key Hebrew words that every Christian would really benefit from knowing because most of the Bible is written in Hebrew, and God chose that language and those specific words to express Certain ideas about who he is, what he's like, what he wants from us and for us, and sometimes in the translation process.
that can get a little bit watered down. I couldn't agree with you more. I like the people that explain it. It's like The difference between something 3D versus something that's just flat. And actually, the more you explore Hebrew, the more I find.
That, wow, you can really get closer to the heart of God, as he explained. In some of the things he was trying to tell us.
So, we're excited about having Melissa on. We also have today both Caleb and Jay Bullins, who are near and dear to me because they are members of my church, have been for years. And Caleb is working on this Eagle Scout project, which happened to be this gigantic thing that actually we'll talk about today.
Now, is being recognized as possibly the Eagle Scout Project of the Year in the playground that he built at our church. And so, welcome, Caleb. Good morning. It's good to have you and your dad. And so, Jay, when we started this project.
It it was not exactly what you had envisioned, was it? It was not. And so, Caleb, you saw the plan, and you know, you're like.
Well, Robbie, you wanna do a playground How big? What can you give us an idea of what you were feeling when when we originally outlined what we were looking for? I did not think we were going to be able to do that. Yeah. 'Cause that thing was massive.
Right. You had to see the lumber piled up in order to see it. And we'll get pictures at kingdompursuits.com so that you can experience all that. And so it's really fun. We have a dedication coming actually tomorrow at our church.
And the newspaper carried a beautiful article on it. And again, this. How would you describe Jay the the the playground now as it's now complete. Um It it's it's it's still massive. But it looked mad, it looked bigger on paper than actually come out to be, but.
When Robbie approached us about a playground at that church, Yeah. I asked him well how big of a playground he wanted. And Um Robbie said, I want people to be able to see it from space.
Okay. Yeah. And I think he I think we uh achieved that yeah You know, the idea is people like if you build it, they will come. And we were hoping that that You know, children from all over the area of Ramsburg, North Carolina be able to see it.
So, getting back to Melissa and some of those basic Hebrew words. Where would you start?
Well, one example that I love to start with because I think it so beautifully expresses how we can sometimes miss The true meaning of a word when it comes to our English translations is the Hebrew word for hope, which is tikvah. And a lot of people know this word because the national anthem of Israel is Hatikvah, the hope. But our English modern Western idea of hope is more like optimistic thinking or wishful thinking, and there's no guarantee necessarily behind it. You know, we say, oh, I hope it doesn't rain. I hope we can finish the playground in time.
I hope that there's going to be pizza at the party. It's just like a positive, nice thought. wishful thinking. But where we find this biblical word tikva, it is expectant waiting for a guaranteed outcome. And that is so different, right?
We wait so differently for something that we know is going to happen versus something that is just a nice thought or something that we wish was going to happen. And this is so important because this biblical hope that we had, ultimately, the Lord himself is our hope. This is something we can really hold on to. You know, it makes more sense of the verse in the New Testament about hope, this hope being an anchor for our soul, because this is such a strong word. Psalm 71.5 says, You are my tikva, my guaranteed hope, O Lord God.
You are my trust from my youth. Yeah, I love it. Am I right that the first time that word's used is actually by Naomi? Um, explaining to Ruth that there's no hope for you to have of through Am I c carrying that right? Do you know what?
I don't know off the top of my head if that's the first time, but my favorite time that it's used is actually in the story of Rahab and Joshua, Jericho, where the scarlet cord that Rahab puts out of her window, this symbol of faith that God is going to deliver her, this hope that God is going to save her and her household as the walls of Jericho crumble. That word there. The word for rope or cord there is actually tikvah as well. And that's something that's so fascinating about Hebrew is that. Often one single word has a lot of carries a lot or does a lot of work and has different connotations in different contexts.
And I especially love that words that seem really abstract in English like faith or hope or love. Like if I was to ask you to draw hope, what would you draw? Yeah. Yeah. And you're right.
I looked it up and it Joshua is the first place that it is. And then it's used it's used again in Ruth when she's describing it to her daughter, but that idea of this correlate cohort and and I'm sure you're familiar with the scarlet worm. And in the connection to the psalm with that, that that whole idea of that red color. Um It's beautiful, right? That our hope would be this scarlet cord that runs throughout scripture, right?
Because it was the scarlet cord that. that started out with Perez when he was born. Right? It's such a beautiful theme and it's so amazing that we don't just have to wish or wonder what's going to happen. These promises, these places in the Bible where we find Tikvah hope, these are things we can really hold on to.
And I think it is in Biblical Hebrew, the imagery of hope is a rope that's being strengthened in a waiting process. You know, in our modern Western culture, we can think of waiting as a waste. We just want to microwave everything. We want to jump, quote unquote, to the good part. But biblically, there is so much value in waiting because it's a strengthening process.
And this idea that. Yeah, just to jump in to to tie it together is fascinating from my perspective. What color is our rope on the playground there, Jay? Uh Uh red and black. It's actually mostly red, as I recall.
The actual rope that comes down, right, Caleb? Yep. Have you thought about that being a scarlet cord when you guys picked out that color? You know, you picked out the color, I didn't. Um not what we thought about.
But it's how it worked out.
Well, it's fascinating, too, Melissa, that. Our swings are red, right? And and so I guess that that you thought, well, we'll match the the red swings, et cetera, with the with the red rope, but You know, I hadn't made the connection until you were describing it, Melissa. That that the connection obviously between the playground at Kildee Church and um and Hope. It's that beautiful scarlet cord.
And the next time I look at the playground, I got to tell you, I'm going to go, look, we got we had this hope out there that this would happen. But I got to tell you that. Caleb, how much money did we have to raise in order to get this thing done? I can tell you because we were behind the whole thing. It was like $5,000, right?
materials.
Now that was just this lumber and the different things that went into that. And God provided it miraculously, it's paid for. Right? With you guys' fundraising help and all that kind of stuff.
So I had a lot of hope as we entered into this project that you'd be able to see this playground from space. But now when they look at it, they're gonna see a scarlet corp. That Melissa's brought out is our hope.
So we're going to be back. You're listening to The Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits, where we hear how God takes your passion. and uses it to build the kingdom so cool that that we have Caleb Bull Bullins and his dad. His passion for scouting is amazing in that family.
Uh his older brother is the eagle. Both his older brothers um A Hunter how far is Hunter away from his eagle? Or has he already got there? He's just got to turn his book in and then go before the board. And so his brothers, our oldest brothers.
Already got his eagle Dylan, and then his next oldest brother is on his way, and now Caleb.
So quite a passion in this family for scouting. And we also have Melissa Briggs. I am so excited, by the way. If you go to kingdompursuits.com, you can see her website, Explore Hebrew Course for Beginners. You can see amazing opportunity to really spend some time on that exploration and learn it.
She's got all these YouTube videos and stuff in order to be able to do that. And we're going to talk a lot about that coming up in the show. But before we do that, those who listen to Kingdom Pursuits always, Caleb, you didn't know this may be coming. And I know Melissa probably didn't know it was coming. We have to.
Play a little shenanigans. And so, speaking of scouts. One big game. Yes, it is. And so, Melissa, Jay, and Caleb, our listeners are expecting this.
A few dad jokes from Robbie and your opportunity to try to guess my dad jokes, as well as a Bible question that they'll have at the end in order to call in and win. And so. With all that said... Here's your first chance. If anybody has the answer, jump on in, Melissa, Caleb.
Here you go. An Eagle Scout decided to start a business fixing horns on cars and trucks. What did he call it? An Eagle Scout. Decide to start a business fixing horns on cars and trucks.
What did he call it? The Sorbai. What do you think? Caleb, got anything? J?
I do not. You should, both of you having the scouting background that you do. Beep repaired. You can use it, feel free to use that at Troop 500. Beep repaired.
I personally find it hilarious.
So, why did the scout leader think the boys were struggling with anxiety? Why did the Boy Scout leader think his boys were struggling with anxiety, Nick? That's it. I'm not sure if I can do it. Go ahead.
Go ahead, Melissa. You got it? I was gonna say something about Being all tied up in knots or tying up lots of stuff. That's close. That's close.
What do you think, Caleb? You being the scout that you are? And we have a scout leader right here. What did you think was going on with those boys? It's all tied up.
Yeah, they could be, but they were also intense. I was going to say they're some of these are nuts. I got that. They were intense, Caleb. Yes.
Okay, so. And here's, you guys have been using this all along. Let's see if you can get this one now.
So, what's the biggest difference between an Eagle Scout and a Life Scout? What's the biggest difference between an Eagle Scout and a Life Scout? That's for those who are not aware, a Life Scout is the next rank before you get be an Eagle. Do you know what the biggest difference is? I do not.
Alright, and apparently you use it in order to get your fishing badge. It's not a lot. And at the end of those shenanigans, we knew that we would actually have a Bible question for our listeners to call in when today. And so if you're. thinking along these lines this morning.
Here's the question, right?
So how did Jesus sending out his disciples you guys can't answer this one, by the way, you spoil it for the listeners, so don't feel like you got to jump in here. How did Jesus sending out his disciples two by two line up with the Boy Scout model? Ha ha ha. Um It's so funny. How did Jesus sending out his disciples two by two line up with the Boy Scout motto?
If you have the answer to that, you call us at 866-348-7884. 866-34 Truth. And if they can answer it, Nick, tell them what they'll win. Absolutely. Yes, you'll be winning a prize from our Kingdom Pursuits Prize Vault.
If you know the answer to Robbie's Riddles, you can win a Backscratcher, Date the Word book, or the Action Bible. If you know the answer to Robbie's Riddles, 866-348-7884. I'm going to bet you this action Bible is like a $30 value. If it is one of the coolest youth Bibles you have ever seen. Uh it's fairly thick and in I guess it's probably from ages about 10 to 15 or whatever.
It is an action Bible and it's it's put out Um That we would provide. That's really, really cool. Not to mention the gospel back scratcher. Like, how many places can you get a gospel back scratcher only by calling in and telling us? How did Jesus, sending out his disciples two by two, line up with the Boy Scout motto?
866-348-7884. And after all that scouting, Melissa, what's our second word?
Okay, well, I didn't realize that this Hebrew conversation was going to be paired with the Eagle Scout conversation, but in the break, I was thinking of some really cool connections that I think God planned this, and it's not random. I agree. And first of all, is just tying back to our conversation before about the Hebrew word for hope, meaning expectant, waiting for a guaranteed outcome. It actually ties in to a famous verse about eagles in the Bible. Isaiah 40, verse 31 says, Those who kavah, that's the verb form of tikvah, those who wait expectantly for the Lord for a guaranteed outcome.
shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be faint. You know, that is amazingly beautiful, and I've meditated on that many, many, many times, Melinda, in that. Excuse me, Lissa. Why did I say that? Melissa, in that the first use of that particular word.
is in Genesis when they gathered the waters together, right? Yeah, I think so. And the other word that I wanted to talk about next, it made me think of it when you mentioned the pile of timber that was ready to build. Oh yeah, it was. The pile of timber ready to build the playground.
And it actually, the word for timber or wood or trees in Hebrew is actually the same as the word for cross.
So like I said, a word in Hebrew has a lot of meaning to it. It's like a diamond, that when you look at it in different contexts, it reflects different meanings and different beauties.
So this Hebrew word ets. Means a tree. And in English, our word for tree just means usually a living tree. But in Biblical Hebrew, an ets is a living tree or anything that's made out of tree, made out of a tree. And so this can include, you know, lumber, timber, sticks, stalks, gallows, planks, beams.
It can refer to woods like a forest as well. And so this one word has so much meaning. And because of that, this biblical theme of ets. Is a huge redemptive theme throughout the scriptures. Like you mentioned, the scarlet cord being a huge theme.
This word ets, if you think of all the places in the Bible that a tree turns up or that wood turns up or that, of course, this cross turns up or gallows, it connects these biblical stories in a way that we can miss in the English sometimes because we separate all of these ideas. But biblically, they're all connected. And you know, there's trees at the very beginning of the Bible in the Garden of Eden. There's trees at the end and the new heaven, new earth. And then there's this ultimate story, the greatest story of redemption involves this Ets, this cross, this delineation in history.
watershed mowing in the history. I like that you say that because When I've thought about that whole idea before too as well, Melissa, that Noah's Ark was made out of. Right. And certainly the Ark of the Covenant is made out of Would and actually, when you think about it, all the sacrifices were sacrificed. on the altar which was burning Wood, right?
And so the idea of wood and atonement. is really a clear connection. Um not to mention that the idea that that that that Uh Letter that makes up that word is looks almost like a tree and has a lot to do with righteousness, right? Absolutely, yeah. I think that all of these stories in the Old Testament are pointing towards this redemption moment on the cross.
And that's much more obvious in the Hebrew than it is in English. And I'm not a Greek scholar by any means, but from what I've studied, the Greek equivalent also has this same idea that the Hebrew word or the Greek word for cross. which is Zulan, I'm probably pronouncing that wrong, X-U-L-O-N, encompasses the concept of wood, tree, cross, beam, staff, all into this singular word.
So when we come across a wooden object like a cross or an ark or, you know, where we hear about Abraham being called at the oak of Moray or the fig tree as a symbol of Israel or the olive tree as a symbol of the household of faith, these are all connected in the Bible and they all point to this beautiful story of redemption. It's beautiful. And so Caleb, when you were out there with all that wood, and I mean, there was a lot of wood and there was a lot of connecting of wood. You know, I just find it fascinating. Our playground is completely wood, right?
Mm-hmm. A and and so you guys it took some carpentry. Just saying. Like, how many carpenters did you guys have out there at one point in time, Caleb? Would you say?
Probably about four or five each workday that we were out there. Yeah, but one of the biggest things, and I'm interested that Melissa might have come up with something on this. One of the biggest things that was the biggest original challenge. That I remember you calling me and say, Robbie, I don't know where we're going to get this. Right?
You had to start out somewhere. And where was your biggest challenge when you first started? Um, leveling North Carolina soil. Yeah. And how did you go about doing that?
I called you that morning, I'm like, Robbie, I don't know where I'm gonna get a tractor or a skid stair that's sitting right here. And then good guy that goes to our church, Michael. He let us end up borrowing his, which he has his farm right across from the church, so we got to borrow his and do it that way and level the ground. And uh Did you see that one coming, Jay? I did not.
I was expecting just to use a couple shovels, but that shovels was not working.
Well, how fun is all this, Melissa? Thank you. I'm excited about what we're coming up with next. And hey, somebody can call in. I'm shocked that somebody doesn't know.
You know, again, how did Jesus, sending out the disciples two by two, line up with the Boy Scout motto, 866-348-7884? We got an action Bible or back scratcher, 866-348-7884. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits where we hear how God takes your passion. And uses it to build the kingdom, whether that's Boy Scouting from our Eagle Scout.
Um Candidate, soon-to-be Eagle Scout, Caleb Bullins, and his dad Jay, as well as Melissa Briggs, Explore Hebrew Course for Beginners.
So, Melissa, how would you connect our listeners? The best way to find you. I put the link there at kingdompursuits.com, but what's other ways they could do that? Melissa, you're still with us? Maybe she has it on mute.
Um I don't know. We'll check with Melissa. But in the meantime, we'll get back to um the playground of playgrounds like man. It not only has swings, what all is it what are the features of our playground there from your standpoint, Caleb?
So it has A slide, the swings. What kind of slide does it have? Has a spiral slot. Of course. Thank you.
And you spin round and round and round until you get to the ground. And and of course when you say swings, you you picture one thing in your mind. These are no ordinary swings. There's two normal swings and then we have a glider swing. That one's pretty neat.
It has been tested by me. Works great. And then we do have a climbing net. that no kids can climb up. And then we also have a rock wall.
And then it's got some towers, right? Two towers with a bridge in the middle. It's sort of like the Twin Towers, right, Jay? It is. It is kind of twin ta and that's basically what it was called was Twin Peaks.
And so it literally is two stories high. It is. Very much. And then it actually has shingled roof. on the top of those two towers.
Right? And so figuring out how to shingle that roof was a challenge. Yeah, it was uh it was You know, 'cause we could we could do a lot of stuff with the uh the building and all, but That was my biggest concern: I did not know how to shingle. Not no roofer. And nobody we had was, and then we had a guy that came to the church, he attends church there.
He came up one day wanting to know if there was anything he could do to help. And I said, Yeah, if you could find somebody that could shingle a roof. And then he happened to say, Well, that's what I used to do. And so uh that was uh That was a a life saver. Yeah, and you had to see it to believe it, right, Caleb?
How did he end up shingling that roof? Oh, it was hilarious. Uh, I I get home from school one day and mom shows me a picture that Robbie had sent. In this picture, this this guy had gotten very clever with the way he did this. He put a ladder up one side.
and then he got in the bucket of a front end loader and raised the bucket up and he was sitting there shingling the roof. And this is a two-story tall tower.
So it was uh it was very funny. It was very high bucket on the front loader, right? It was. But he was very safe at doing it though. He was very sad.
I mean, I was watching him because I was out there when I took the picture, and I was like.
Well, look at this front end loader with this guy standing in it. But I mean, talk about a scaffolding in order to work. I mean, he's standing there. And and he knew if did you watch him do any shingling? I was amazing to watch.
I never saw anybody do it before, but I mean, he shingled right away. I watched him do the first tower and it was he had it all done in one day. than a few hours of standing there doing it. Yeah, you've just um It was it was one of the amazing things that that that really surprised me about the whole project. But What was Part of the amazing thing, you know, we talked about that we had to raise $5,000, right?
And we were trying to figure out how, you know, God, what do you have in mind? And I actually was a listener. that we have here on the Truth Network. That sent the initial funds, it really made us realize God was behind this. We're trying to figure out how to get it done.
And in comes this amazing donation that made it all possible.
Well, fortunately, we have Melissa back with us. Melissa. How would our listeners? We want to make sure they get connected to you. What's the best way they can find your course and how to get involved?
Yeah, absolutely. My website is explorehebrew.thinkific.com. And you can also find me on Facebook or YouTube if you look for Explore Hebrew. And there I have some options of language learning courses that are a unique blend of biblical and modern Hebrew. taught together from a Christian perspective.
And I actually have a special code for your listeners that they use code Kingdom. That's going to give them $70 off of the Hebrew courses. That's wonderful.
So how much is a Hebrew course?
So each course is $249, and that code will give you $70 off. I also have another course called 70 Days of Pursuing Shalom. For those who don't want to actually learn the language itself, you know, the grammar and the alphabet and everything, but they're more interested in these like devotional style biblical understanding of original words. And there I have a course that takes you 10 through 10 weeks of understanding the original meaning of key Hebrew words and how they apply to our everyday life, our everyday walk with the Lord. That's called 70 Days of Pursuing Shalom.
And you can find that on the same website as well. Yeah, and I would think that that would just be a fabulous devotional journey for someone as a gift, right? That you know somebody that you've seen some interest in Hebrew and those kind of things. Wow, why not give them a gift of that exploration? Because I can assure you, as they explore some of these words, like that you could probably explore the word truth for eternity and not plumb the depths, right?
Absolutely. Yeah, we could spend the whole hour just picking any one of those words and not get to the bottom of it. There's so much beauty. All of us have only just started to dip our toes into the richness that is God's word. And I just find it so life-giving.
A lot of people could think that learning Hebrew would just be really dry or scholarly, but my life, my walk with the Lord has been so affected in such practical and helpful ways by digging into the original meanings of these beautiful key words in Hebrew. Right, and and y you almost end up at the pl at the place like, wow. Like we will be we will be Mining in the depths of these things for eternity to see the beauty. Like God was painting this phenomenal picture. Of redemption and so many different, like you said, themes from the very beginning.
And the only way to begin to even see the colors of it from my perspective is to go on the journey that obviously you've enjoyed as I have for many years. And And what a neat thing. Again, you give them the name of the website again? Yes, my website is explore Hebrew. dot syncific dot com or if you just google explore Hebrew, Melissa Briggs, it will bring you up to that as well.
Or go to kingdompursuits.com. I put the link right there, so it's pretty easy for you too. Go ahead. Absolutely. That's a great idea.
I think what's so different about what we've realized when we study Hebrew, what we study the Bible, is that God just doesn't want us to fill our head with information. The whole idea of the Hebrew language is that every word, almost every word in the language, comes from a primary root verb.
So Hebrew is a very active language, a very active worldview. We aren't just supposed to make a mental ascent to a certain set of ideas. We're supposed to have an active faith. We're supposed to live out faithfulness and steadfastness. And there's so many Hebrew words that that's the case that in our English perspective, this topic, for example, faith itself, a Hebrew word for faith, at Muna, is active faith.
And so often in English or in our modern culture, we can think of like, okay, whatever you believe in your head, that's fine. But biblically, we're supposed to show what we believe by living it out. You know, if we say, that we care about children and providing a safe place for them, maybe we're going to do foster care or maybe we're going to build them a playground, a safe place where they can be at church and be loved and be able to enjoy God's creation. And there's so many words like that in Hebrew that are so much more active and meant to be lived out because our faith is meant to be a walk with the Lord, a journey with the Lord. And the Hebrew language really invites us into that idea.
Yeah, that's absolutely beautiful. And I I I couldn't encourage people more to the richness of this. And then again, as you get more lit up by these ideas and things, then you can't help but share them. And the idea of sharing your faith takes a whole different way as you begin to understand some things a little clearer as God would lead you.
So, again, if you go to kingdompursuits.com, you're going to see Explore Hebrew course for beginners. I understand you have to go, Melinda. Melissa, is that right? Nope, I'm good.
Okay, we got one more segment. We got Caleb and Jay, and we're talking playgrounds in Hebrew. How you're listening to the truth network and truthnetwork.com Welcome back to Kingdom Pursuits, where we hear how God takes your passion and uses it to build the kingdom. And people who know me well know one of my passions is Hebrew. I certainly love it.
And so excited to have Melissa with her and her joy that you can hear of enjoying the Hebrew language. And Caleb and Jay Bullins with this Eagle Scout Service Project, which, by the way, as we talked about, is nominated.
Well, explain what it is that it's nominated for, Jay, so that people know. All right.
So once the. Once Keller finishes his book and gets it submitted, Um then he can submit it. for Eagle Project in the council, which is in the local area. And then after that, then they'll submit it for national, which is across the country. Um So but he's got it he's gotta finish the book and You know, all of these people, individuals that we've showed the project to and we've talked to about it.
You know, they have come up and said, man, that project's one of the biggest that they've ever seen. And it's a big thing, and it's a beautiful thing. We're so proud of you, Caleb, for. what you've been able to do in that. Melissa, have you ever Well, I'm just curious, when you started out with Hebrew, did you ever consider that someday you would be teaching it?
No, but I do think it was a passion the Lord put on my heart. I was really eager to learn it and excited to see, you know, each word felt really exciting for me to understand. And so I love being able to offer that opportunity to other Christians. I say I love to make the Hebrew language accessible to everybody because a lot of times you feel like, okay, well, I would have to do a seminary course or start Bible school. But I think that every Christian could benefit from learning the original meaning of 10 key Hebrew words.
And you don't even have to learn the whole language to, you know, to learn a little bit about their original meaning like we've been discussing today. Right, right. And with the tools today, like even if you have a Blue Letter Bible app, it takes you half a second to see the word, see how it it's pronounced. They'll actually push a button and they'll pronounce it for you. I mean the tools today that are available are not like anything that's in the history of the world, right?
Absolutely, yes. I'm a little jealous that I had to learn Hebrew like the old-fashioned way with carrying huge books around and that kind of thing. But there's so many opportunities today. And part of what I like to do in my courses is to really teach students how to make the best use of those free resources you can find online that they would be able to do biblical word studies themselves too. You know, I like to offer what what I've learned so far about certain words, but I want to set students up to be able to, you know, launch off and really dig into the Bible themselves and use these resources to the best of their ability for themselves.
Again, it's Explore Hebrew. Melissa Briggs, you Google that and you're going to find it, or you can go to kingdompursuits.com and you can see there, right on the front page, a great big picture of Explore Hebrew, of course for beginners. You click on that link. There's a beautiful video. You can take sort of a sample of what it is.
And as she said, if you put in the promo code Kingdom, you get $70 off. And so take advantage of that. That's an opportunity right now. And so we just got a couple of minutes left. Caleb, was there anything you wanted to get said today?
on the radio that you feel like that that on your heart that you want to Be able to get said.
Well, um It was just neat to see that, uh you know, when y'all said that we're we're building this big of a play set. That um I didn't think it was gonna be done. And and looking at the blueprints of it, it was A lot of different angles and cuts that I've never made before. Dad's never made them before. And so it was a lot of uh So it was a little bit difficult at some points.
Especially when we were framing a roof. That was that was a hard one. He only messed up on a couple. All right.
Well, we got Becky is in Lynchburg, North Carolina. She has an answer to the riddle, Becky. You are on Kingdom Pursuits. Good afternoon, or good morning, still. Hi.
Hi. So, what do you think? Was Jesus what? How did that line up with the Boy Scout oath motto, excuse me, as far as sending out those disciples two by two? Go ahead.
Well, Jesus and the Boy Scouts both used the buddy system. That's perfect. Absolutely. Right, Jay? The buddy system is something they do.
But they also told him to be prepared. And so that idea of prepared with the idea of two being a pair. You know, just a little bit. Oh, but you had it. The buddy system is probably a better answer than my own.
And so, of course, we're going to put you back in the hold and have Nick send that out to you. I'm so grateful for your calling, Becky, for your listening today out in Lynchburg, Virginia. God bless you.
Okay, you too. Thank you. Thank you. So, Jay, how about you? Anything you want to get said today?
I just want to say that I'm, you know, like you said a minute ago, I got three boys, all, you know. My oldest ones earn his eagle. My next hunter, as soon as he goes in front of the board, he'll have his eagle. Uh and and then Caleb here, as soon as he finishes his book, he'll go in front of the board as well. All three of my boys will have Earn Eagle and I just I'm very proud for all three of them to earn their eagle.
And I appreciate everybody that stepped in and helped out through all three of these projects. Yeah, because there were three projects. I'm familiar with all three boys and all three projects. It's amazing stuff.
Well, again, Melissa, thank you for your passion. Thank you for your work. I'm so grateful for your help today. Anything else you wanted to get? Last word in?
I just want to say a blessed Passover to everybody and a blessed Resurrection Sunday coming up. Amen. Amen. And amazing Hosanna for Palm Sunday tomorrow.
So have fun. They say a little bit of Hebrew even though they didn't know it. All right.
