Uh Rive and welcome to the show. You're listening to Matt Slick Live, and I'm your host, Matt Slick. If you want to give me a call, as usual, all you got to do is dial 877-207-2276. I want to hear from you. Give me a call if you feel like blabbing and all kinds of stuff, theological, even secular.

And I want to hear from him. All right, so today's date is let's see, August 18th, 2026. And just looking around my screens, you've got four big monitors. I have a scan to make sure I get everything going, and there's always little things to do. And um I'm working on another article and I'm gonna talk about the article because I got thinking about something.

And um Uh I started wondering what would the a church look like or a religion look like if it was authored by the devil? And this may sound a little odd, but you know, I started working wondering about it.

Well, in order to do that, like I mentioned this before. That I had to go through and do a complete study on the devil, Satan, etc., what he does. uh in the Bible. I mean what he does as recorded in the Bible, okay. And I found a lot of stuff.

I found some interesting stuff about that. And. Because in order to devise an article On what a religion of the devil would look like. You know, there's several layers to this. One is essential doctrines and What is the, and those had to be denied, of course.

And what are the works of the devil?

Well, I found 25 things. uh in uh scripture That the devil himself does, works of the devil. He's an accuser. I've got all the references for this in my article, What Are the Works of the Devil, on Karm, which I released. It says today.

I thought it was yesterday. Anyway, um So it says he be the accuser, he attacks believers, he blinds the minds of people. He causes sickness, denies God's word, devours. hinders God's work. incites doubt about God's word.

Incites rebellion. He's a liar, a murderer. He's prideful, opposes. God's angels, He persecutes true believers, He possesses people. He preaches the false gospel, and that would be through his servants.

Um Like Joseph Smith Mohammed you know, Charles Days Russell. Very big already. Anyway, produces fake believers, tears among the wheat. We see a lot of those within the Protestant religion. We see those in Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholic.

Religions produce false signs and wonders, quotes, oh, that's that's I just thought of that. Because um In the EO, excuse me, the Catholics in particular, all these miracles that they claim happened with Mary. They're obviously not of God. Anyway, quotes God's word out of context. Satan does that.

He snatches the word away from people, he steals, kills, and destroys. Takes advantage of the unforgiveness situation. That's interesting. He tempts. He tempts people to sin, and he uses deception.

So I started working on this. You know, what would be the religion of the devil? And there's different ways to do this, there's a lot of different ways. And Uh I started developing, and it's not released yet, a table. Where I have some of the essential doctrines of the Christian faith listed on the left.

And I go through Buddhism, Christian science, Hinduism, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Oneness, and Unitarianism. And I could do a lot more, but I don't want to do that because they wouldn't fit on the page. And there's a lot of stuff there. And one of them, one of those religions. uh affirms Most.

of the bad stuff. than the other ones. Buddhism, Christian Science, Hinduism, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, LDS. uh oneness in Unitarianism. And uh It's Islam.

that denies the most uh truths. of scripture.

Now Buddhism does two Uh and Hinduism does does too. But they're not so much biblically based. And so it's a little bit tough to kind of get into this. I might modify that later. But anyway, this is kind of the stuff I'm working on.

And it was generated out of. of look looking at the Islamic religion and how antichrist it is. And how it uses killing to expand, among other things, oppression, threats, rebellions. just like the devil does. Anyway, those are some of the things I was thinking.

Maybe we'll get to it later. Let's get to Stephen from Scotland. Stephen, welcome, man, you're on the air. Hey, good evening, Matt, from a very elite Scotland. How are you doing?

I'm doing okay hanging in here. It's a nice afternoon day for me. Very good. Just listening to you talking about a religion that could be from the devil and seen some quite disturbing things on the Internet today. I don't know if you're heard about it or read about it.

But Port, will you have sent Cardinal Padland. Catania for the 900th anniversary of St. Agatha's relics and I watched this ritual out in public matter this this cardinal's walking around with his skull on his hands. and then the mayor of this place kisses the skull and then they place the skull in the bus of um Saint Agatha. And it's just It was really disturbing.

Uh this what yeah what what to know.

Well, you saw me that, you've heard about that. I think that definitely could be helped there with the religion from the devil. Yeah, you know, this one of the problems I have when writing things is. I have too much information. for the average person to process.

And that's one problem. The other one is, how do I get the major points across In a clear and easy to understand manner. And so those two goals are there, you know, make it people to understand. But um There could be, you know, I was thinking about doing something. Or maybe I could do something on Uh These religions that claim to be Christian, like Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholic.

Oriental Orthodoxy and go through some of those things too because they're denying some of the essentials of the Christian faith. this stuff about Cardinal Pletroperolin. He uh let's see, yeah. Witness still speaks to the church Vatican news. Yeah, I'd like to see what that is.

The paganism. That's another thing. The paganism. that is in Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism. Paganism, I mean paganism.

Um There were these rituals for dead things and contacting dead people. Uh Yeah, oof, okay. Um Anyway, yeah, I'm with you. I'm gonna check it out. You sent me that article.

Uh sure, we're shall I send it to Er Laura and she can pass it on, or? Yeah, I just sent it to info at carm.org because I'm trying to find the article. I was looking for it. We did a search. Hold on a sec.

Oh man, I got a yawn there.

Sorry about that. And I was looking through. 900. Yeah, so I don't what the article title is, Pope Leo the F Fourteenth. Sends Cardinal Perilin to cat Catania for 900th anniversary of Saint Agatha's Relics.

Gosh. It's so stupid. It is not just extremely. You see it's demonic to me as well because you see them walking around. With this skull.

I don't know if it is meant to be St. Augustus' skull, but then the mayor of this place, you see him kissing a m a human kissing a skull, the mayor kissing a skull. of a dead body, you know. And then they twisted the stone in the bus called the the uh Saint Augusta. And it makes me wonder as well.

And then the other skills is there in other figures that they got plus what is done here in public.

So You know, you I lose you? Hello? Yeah. What uh I didn't hear the qu uh it sounded like something dr dropped off. Wha but go ahead.

Okay. Um I don't know how much you heard. But They also placed a skull, and I don't know if it is meant to be or is Senagartha's skull. But it wasn't hard busque. Yeah.

um after the mayor of that place had kissed it. And it makes me wonder What other skulls did he have and other figures? Peter Crunch. Yeah, yeah. You know, our discussion here just now, you've got me thinking: what are the pagan rituals and practices in the Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholic churches?

And um And in part, I'm interested in this. I don't talk about this very often. But because before I became a Christian, I was in paganism. I was in. the occult seances, contact in the dead.

Astral projection or energy reading, things like this. I actually was involved with it and became a Christian. Praise God, that's all gone.

So I've always had this kind of an interest in it. Yeah, I as a It's background information, of course, practicing it. And I've drawn upon my experiences many times in explaining things to people. And the idea of veneration of relics and pilgrimage and shrines has occult. potential in them.

Seeking the dead is definitely an occult practice, which is forbidden in scripture in Deuteronomy 18:10 and 11. and uh the idea of having items that are blest and have sacred power. Is an occult practice also.

So you have holy water, incense, candles, relics that have. They have powers in them associated with them, and things like this. These are practices used in the occult. And another thing a lot of people don't realize is in witchcraft. you say a formula to get a a You say a formula here in the physical world to get a spiritual result.

And I've seen this kind of thing in Catholicism, some of the practices in that you say certain things a certain way. and a certain spiritual result occurs, and this is done often by the priests. Because the priesthood's false, but they do these things by the priest. They go through various ceremonies, and it's supposed to result in specific spiritual work guaranteed. And that is uh witchcraft.

as well. And so I'm interested now, you know, pagan ideas and practices in East Orthodox, Roman Catholic churches as a title for an article.

So, see, so much heresy, so little I'll give you more work. Yeah, oh yeah. And that brings my article list. Let's see yesterday. What was it yesterday?

I wrote an article. I had to remove it from the list.

So I'm still at. 1100 and Yeah.

So, yeah. Wow. God is keeping you busy, brother. He's keeping you busy. And I haven't even done the email for three weeks.

I haven't even gotten to my email, no, the newsletter. I've done the newsletter for three weeks. I'm just overworked. I need a lot of help. Wish we had more money.

I could hire people to do this kind of stuff all the time, but don't. And anyway, so just a lot to do. And I got books on hold. I'm about to write also. Yeah.

Well, I guess I could kind of be kind of put a prayer request out there to all the listeners and come and we could all be praying that you would get some form of help that could help you with some of these matters. Yeah. Well, you know, I'd like to hire somebody who's, you know, or contribute more money to the people who are already working with us to have them do more stuff. even more. Because I need a lot of help.

And I know my helpers are listening, going, hey man, he needs lots of help. That's what they're gonna say. That's right. All right, Matt, do you want me to go send you this article or do you see it in No, send it to me.

Some of the URLs I can check it out. Yeah. Alright, but I'll send it to nfloattarme.org, yeah.

Sounds good, buddy. God bless, man.

Alright brother, God bless. Thanks for taking my call. Bye-bye. Thank you. All right folks, we'll be right back with Michelle from Virginia.

And um We'll be right back. Please stay tuned. It's Matt Slick Live, taking your call at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick. Alright, but welcome back to the show.

If you want to give me a call, it is so easy. All you got to do is dial 8772072. 2276. Let's get to Michelle from Virginia. Michelle, welcome.

You're on the interview. How are you? I'm doing all right. Thanks for asking.

So what do you got? Um I would like to know why you think that Islam is antichrist. Isn't that what you said a few moments ago? Yes, sir. It's antichrist, it's a religion devised by the devil.

Yep. Mm-hmm. Do you believe that? How do you believe that? Because you're talking to a newly reverted.

And I don't see that it I converted to Islam. And I don't see one, we love Jesus. We just don't. Maybe we don't. Yes, we do.

Jesus is mentioned in the Quran countless times. We look at him as a prophet, not as The Son of God, but as a prophet, as a Messiah, which means messenger of God. You can't tell me who I love or who I do. Excuse me. Excuse me.

Can I speak on my own radio show? Because Muslims do? They like to dominate, they don't listen, and they accuse. Did you know that? I've had many forms of Christianity.

That's what they do. That's what Muslims do.

Well, I was a Christian before I became a Muslim. Can I talk? You sure may. Oh, thank you. Thank you for allowing that.

Yeah, I found Muslims to be extremely arrogant and disruptive, and they don't listen. And I've had many discussions with Muslims. They deny the Trinity, they deny who Christ truly is, they deny his crucifixion. They even teach, as the Quran does in Surah 4, 157, that as the Hadith, or has, let's just see, some of the commentaries on that surah have stated that it was Allah who made someone look like Jesus in order to be crucified, which means Allah is a deceiver. It denies the historical reliability of the Surah.

What hadith was that? It's not a hadith, it's a surah.

Well, you said the deep. You said Surah, and then you said the deep.

So I was just wondering which one that was. Surah 4, 157, and the commentaries, I said hadith, I'm gonna correct myself. The commentaries say that it was Isla, that it was Allah. who made someone look like Jesus was crucified. Because that's what it says.

They in both said, We killed Christ Jesus, the Son of Mary, the Apostle of Allah, but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it was made to appear to them.

So it made to appear to them. Who made it appear that he was crucified when he was not? Do you realize Allah is another name for God, correct? And if you don't mind me asking, what religion are you? You didn't ask me a question.

So who made it appear that Jesus was crucified when he was not, according to the Quran, according to Islam? Correct and it's wrong.

Okay. The Quran believes that Jesus, we took Jesus, they took Jesus to heaven before he was ever crucified. Yeah, I got that. He wasn't crucified. I got that.

Okay, you got that. Yeah, but you're not answering my question.

Okay, I asked a question in Surah Flora. It had to have been Allah.

Okay, so Allah deceived people to make people think Jesus was crucified, right? Is that right?

So that means I would say so, yes.

Well, that's what, no, that's what you're saying. There's only one God. There's only one God. Michelle? Michelle, hold on.

On the server for 157 is made to appear to them. You have ag agreed that it was Allah who made it appear as Jesus was crucified when he was not. Is that a deception from Allah then? Mm-hmm. Is it?

Okay. Is that a deception? If it says it in the Quran, then that could be misconstrued as a deception, or it could be looked at as a protection.

Okay. So when it says it was made to appear to him, that means it really wasn't Jesus who was crucified, just made to look like it was Jesus who was crucified. It was Allah who did that. Then it means Allah deceived people. Or he was saving him from crucifixion.

Okay. We understand that the Quran teaches he was not crucified. That's not the issue. The issue is this that as you've stated, Allah made it appear That Jesus was crucified. No, you stated that.

I just listened. Is it you? Look. I I just read it to you.

Okay, are the correct? Right, you stated that. I didn't state that. You stated that. You could watch this.

It says in bows, we killed Jesus, the son of Mary, the apostle of Allah, but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it was made. Can you let me finish? You're behaving like a Muslim. I haven't spoken. Surah 283 says to treat people with respect and dignity.

Are you doing that? I didn't say a word. I have not said a word. You're interrupting me constantly. No, that's the radio that you hear in the background.

Okay, let me try this again. It says they neither killed him nor crucified him, but it was made to appear to them.

So I asked you I asked you. Who made it appear that Jesus was crucified? We already went over that and I said Allah. Good.

So then Allah deceived people, didn't he? I said he may have deceived, or was he protecting Jesus from what was to come? That's what I'm asking you. That's not look, you're not answering my question. Is it Allah who did this?

You asked me who, and I said, Allah is the one that said it. Michelle.

So, is it all out the one who deceived people to think it was Jesus who was crucified when it really was not?

Okay, I'm going to give for the sake of argument. I said a lot.

Okay. So Allah deceived people. In Surah 354, it says Allah is the greatest of deceivers.

So if he's the greatest of deceivers. Then wouldn't Islam be the greatest of deception?

Now this is in what surah? Is this in Al-Bakara in the Fatiha? Wh which surah exactly? Not just the number, but what surah? Surah chapter 3, verse 54.

I remember the numbers. Of what book? Of what book of the Quran? I don't re I don't remember. Because that'll make it easier to look it up.

If you knew where exactly it was, why are you becoming annoyed? You should not be becoming annoyed. I grew up in the Episcopal Church. I don't know what form of Christianity you believe. Oh, so you don't like the Episcopalians?

You've already said something negative about the Catholics. Are you a Southern Baptist? No. Look, I'm a Christian, and I defend the Christian faith. But if you talk about other religions in a negative light, you're not really being a good Christian.

Now, are you? Who said that? Because Jesus himself. I just said that. Look, I find you to be.

Do you go by the King James Bible? I find you to be rude. Do you go by the New World Bible? I'm not rude, and you can misconstrue what I'm saying. Please be pleased.

If you want to, because it's your show.

Okay, I had to mute her. Look, folks, this is very typical of my interaction with Muslims. Very typical. They uh they don't listen. They accuse, they change the topic all the time.

Now there are a few, very rare, when I'll meet that they're actually polite and we'll have an intelligent conversation, but mostly they're just like this. Michelle, are you still? Yeah, that's right.

So excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. Yeah.

Excuse me. So so are you aware about how it says in four thirty four in the Quran that it's okay to for husbands to beat their wives?

Okay. You aware of that? Excuse me? Yeah. You aware of that?

They do. You know what? That is. We gotta break. There are Christians that beat their wives.

We gotta break. Hold on. We gotta break. Please stay tuned if you pick a hold. And we'll be right back, folks, after these messages.

Maybe. Maybe she'll stay on and we can get some more interesting combo going. Be right back. Please stay tuned. It's Matt Slick live, taking a call at 877-207-2276.

Here's Matt Slick. All right, everybody, welcome back to the show. Let's see if Michelle is still there. Are you still there? 10 at 10.

Yes, I'm still here.

Okay. I got a question for you. Can I ask you a question in all seriousness? Sure. Um Just can you explain to me why People are being so negative about different religions.

Why can't we all agree to disagree and just respect one another? Muslims, there may be some bad Muslims. They're bad Christians, they're bad black people, they're bad white people. People are people, but I don't think Islam is a bad religion. Islam has been good to me thus far.

Now, granted, I don't know everything that there is to know about Islam. But I know that I behave a lot better as a Muslim than I did as a Christian. And I'm being honest with you. I got a question. You weren't a Christian, but I got a question for you.

I was an Episcopalian. Yeah, yeah, we can talk about that. What is it about Islam that lends itself to so much violence around the world?

Now I'm from the United States, number one. And in every group of people, you have radicalism. I can't speak for those people. I can only speak for me and what I have learned thus far. The common denominator is the Quran and the Hadith, and the Quran teaches me.

Hold on, please. You're behaving like a Muslim. No, I'm behaving like a woman. Like a Muslim woman, then. And an American black woman, if you must.

I don't care about that. I don't give a flying rip about it. You're behaving like a Muslim. You're a Muslim, and I'm asking you a question. You're not able to answer the question.

I asked you. I did this about that. What question did you ask me?

Okay, just dropped her. Because she's not listening. And this is t it's it's typical of what Muslims do. Typical. They don't listen, interrupt, change of topics.

It goes on and on and on.

So I was going to raise the question and show her out of the Quran what it actually says. But let me tell you. The Quran actually does promote the idea of being violent. It actually does. The Bible, excuse me, the New Testament does not teach violence as a solution, not for Christians.

It does teach it in Islam. In Surah 9, which is the second to last Surah in the Quran, it teaches violence, going out to kill. And it does. If you were to go to Carm, and unfortunately, this is about 10 years old, my information, but I can update it. Islamic statistics on violence, grape, I have to say that word, terror, sharia, ISIS, and welfare, and you can go through and see the information that's been collected on how violent they are.

And if you pay attention to the To the news. Not CNN, forget CNN. And I don't need to watch Fox either. But MSNBC, CNN, you're not going to get the information. You need to go to YouTube and look for videos.

They're all, because there's videos everywhere. Look for videos that deal with. uh the Islamization of like England. and what they're doing in the Netherlands, what they're doing in Germany. In France.

For example, my late wife, her mom was born and raised in France, and so we had French relatives. My wife spoke French, and we've been over there a few times, and French relatives here. Long story short. one of uh her relatives was a police officer in Paris. and just just told us flat out.

When the Muslims are in control of an area, it's not safe for for non-Muslims to go in because the there it's the violence is so bad. I've heard about this existing there. I've heard about it existing in other countries as well.

Now this is a first-hand account we got. They're called no-go zones. and where when Islam takes over, they become intolerant. They become demanding, they become uh dangerous. Statistically speaking, the more Muslims there are in a uh a place, the worse the violence is.

And that's just a fact that these kind of um These cotton look at my statistics, where I have the information. Let's see. Um That's right. I'm looking through violence statistics, Muslims. Yes, here we go.

This is from the examiner.com articles, and this is another one from. heavenawaits.wordpress dot com statistic on one to two percent of Muslims that are peaceful. Five percent heavy proselytizing. Plus 5%, they push for halal food, pressure businesses to comply. We're seeing this occur in America now.

10%. of the population If one in ten people is Muslim, then his lawlessness is often used to get their demands. The people who are peaceful will help them out.

Okay, we'll get what you want, but it just encourages them to be more violent. At 20%, there's sporadic rioting, killings, burning of Christian churches, Jewish synagogues. 40% chronic terror attacks, 60% persecution of non-Muslims. They vote themselves into office, or they get themselves into office, and then they rewrite. Oh, they get rid of the laws that don't suit them.

Everything has to be under Sharia.

So just think about this. Islam teaches Sharia, which is Arabic for law. Sharia, law, we call it a redundant term, but it's sharia, which is. Which is what Islam teaches.

Now, I'm going to go through some of the things. I've uh written on this. Uh where is oh come on. I ha I thought I had a I did I had a list Um Uh on carm. Let's see, list of Shiaria laws.

I'm going to read to you some of the things. that are are under Sharia. that are very disturbing. Let's see if I got it here. Um In uh Okay, yeah, here we go.

So what would Sharia law be like? You have to have five daily prayers, which means that the call to prayer with that nasal, whiny, irritating call to prayer that just goes out all over the neighborhood, waking people up, Forcing it into people's homes, they can hear it. This is, oh, they're so tolerant. Muslims are so tolerant. You're going to have that.

Those who leave Islam are to be killed. Criticized in the Quran or Muhammad is punishable by death. A Muslim who becomes a Christian is to be killed. Christian who converts a Muslim to Christianity can be killed. A non-Muslim may not display wine or pork, openly recite the scriptures, or celebrate the religious holidays under Sharia.

Now, this means you can have people who are Christians in Islamic countries, but they're dominated and under heavy control. Because there is a saying in the Quran that says, when you've subdued them, then let them be peaceful, but they have to pay the jizya, which is an incredible tax. And they cannot have any authority in any jobs over any Muslims. I could tell you so many stories. Oh gosh.

I'm gonna tell you one I I heard from someone. A woman, I had to be very delicate how I say this. They were in a Muslim-dominated country. The Christian women were on a bus on the way to work.

Some Muslim men stopped a bus and um separated the Muslim women from the non-Muslim women, and then accosted the non-Muslim women uh In a very bad way. If you get my drift, And uh then when the Muslim I mean the non-Muslim women complained to the police, they were all fired from their jobs. This is the kind of stuff that is our Christian churches cannot be repaired or rebuilt once they're burned down.

So if Islam takes over America, and all the Christians then have to pay the jizya. And be in submission to Muslims. If they burn down the church you go to, you're not allowed to rebuild it.

So, all they got to do is just burn it down. And they're not going to be fined. They're not going to be held up on court for it because they're all Muslims. Non-Muslims do not have equal rank status or authorities as Muslims of society. I already said that.

Testimony from low-ranking people is not permissible in Islamic courts.

So if you're a Christian and you've seen something happen that a Muslim did was wrong, your testimony may or may not be admitted because you're low ranking. Testimony of a woman is half the value of a testimony of a man in court. For a woman to prove great. Uh she must have four male witnesses. They have to support right.

Yeah, that's right.

There's no minimum age of how old a girl must be to marry a Muslim man. Slavery is permitted in sh uh In Sharia, and Muslims may engage in taqiyah, which is lying to non-Muslims to advance Islam.

So uh This is what Islam is. It is bad news. It is bad news. Let's go to John. I think it's unhealthy.

Colorado. John, welcome. You're on the air. Hi.

Okay. Hope you don't have any other colors waiting. Um I had a question. Yeah. Well I'm on atheists.

uh broadcast on YouTube. Yeah. And I'd like to challenge them. But I think it might be wrong. And so I figured I'd ask you first.

Okay, what's your question then?

Well The Muiji boards.

Okay, you have a question?

Well, if I tell them, Hey, If you don't believe in none of this stuff, Why don't you go? Use this Ouija board by yourself. No. And watch what happens. No, no, no, no, no.

You're recommending that it. A non-believer involves itself himself in occult sinful practices. You can't do that as a Christian.

Well, they would find out what happened. They would see that. You can't do that. Listen to me. You can't do that as a Christian.

That's why I asked you first, Matt. Dr. Hontellu, you can't do that as a Christian, okay? Can't do that. Hold on, Bob.

We got a break. Hey, we're right back. Half sure. After these messages, please stay tuned. It looks like Michelle wants to get back on.

We'll see. I'll be right back. Please stay tuned. It's Matt Slick Live, taking a call at 877-207-2276. Here's Matt Slick.

All right, buddy, welcome back to the show. Let's get back on with John from Colorado. John. Are you still there? Pipe.

All right.

Okay. Yeah, so you don't encourage anyone to sin.

Okay, Christians are not to encourage anyone to sin.

Okay. Okay, okay. I'm here. Can you hear me? Yes, you should encourage atheists to seek the Lord Jesus.

Pray to Jesus, not seek demonic sources.

Okay. Can I share an experience with you about ten years before it was safe?

So you called about this issue of atheists, okay? And so I certainly hope you've... I hope that you've not um Encouraged atheists to do simple things.

Okay, if you have. No, I thought about it and I was like, well, don't say that. Let's go ask Matt or an authority somewhere. and see what they say about it.

Okay. I'm glad you did. I'm glad you asked, and I'm just setting you straight. Don't encourage anybody to sin, okay? All right.

But the weird thing is Even if they did that, okay. And they had that experience. Let's just say there's like our argument. it still wouldn't convert them. They can only be converted if The Bible says, Jesus says, you can't come to Him unless it has been granted from the Father.

So nobody Atheists, Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, they cannot come to Christ and believe in the true Christ, unless God Himself grants it to them. That's what Jesus says, John six, sixty five, okay? Like, no matter how much proof I hand these people. That's correct. No matter how much I give him.

Jesus says, You cannot come to me unless it has been granted to you from the Father.

Okay. That's John six sixty five. All right.

Well, you've converted people, haven't you, in your life? Never, not even a single time, I have been there and had the privilege to lead someone to Christ where they've received Christ, but it was God's work. Where he opened their hearts and mind to receive the things of God. That's Acts 16:14, Luke 24:44. I believe it is.

All right.

Grants that we have faith, Philippians 1.29, grants we come to Christ, John 6.29.

Okay. Um Well, you see my perspective, don't you? I would hope that I could lead at least one person to Christ. At least one? You don't.

I understand what you're saying. I understand. It's Luke 24:45, by the way, folks. I understand what you're saying, and I just because I'm more theologically precise than the average person. Then what I say is, I don't lead them to Christ.

They are drawn by God, John 6:44. And drag is a better word for draw there in the Greek. But, you know, when you lead someone to the Lord, what that means is you were there and helped them pray to receive Christ, trust in Christ. That's fine. But they do that because of God's sovereignty, and He grants that they have repentance, 2 Timothy 2:25.

Grants that they have faith. John, excuse me, Luke, Philippians 1:29. Jesus says the work of God is that you believe in Jesus, John 6:29. And Jesus says in John 6, 65, you can't come to me unless the Father grants it to you.

So salvation is all the work of God. And we are just the facilitators sometimes to help people trust in Christ, okay?

Okay, so um As far as I can tell, I was correct. Don't tell people that thing. Yeah. Don't tempt them to sin. It's not going to work.

You don't tempt somebody to sin to find God.

Okay. All right.

Okay, I'm sorry. I was just so frustrated. I was like, if you want a real proof, You can get it this way. But the fact is it's not going to work. No.

Look, it's not an issue of proof. because their hearts are darkened. if God has not opened their hearts and minds to understand the Scriptures, then they can never come to faith. They will end up being Muslims or Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses or Hindus or Buddhists or atheists or agnostics. Because Jesus talks about this, the scriptures talk about this.

So what your job is, is to do your best to witness to them. and asked God to open their hearts and minds.

Okay, to understand scripture, Luke 24:45, to grant them faith. John of Philippi 1:29, granted to come to Christ, John 6:65. And somehow, some way, our prayers, because they're filtered through Christ, They ascend to the Father, he hears them. And it's beyond my understanding to know how all this works with God. But the more we pray and ask for people to be saved, the more God grants it.

from eternity.

Okay?

Okay, well um I just look at you as an authority, so I was tempted to say something today in an atheist conversation. There's like a thousand listeners. But I was pretty sure it was wrong to do that, so I figured I would call you first. They asked about it.

So All right, then. All right, sounds good. Thank you. Okay. All right, bye now.

Let's give Michelle another minute or two until she does you're back on the air.

Okay. Well, hello, Matt. Mm-hmm. I asked you a question, you really weren't able to to answer it.

Well, I have a little question for you if you don't mind. Oh. I noticed that you said You said you've mentioned the Muslims. You just mentioned the um Mormons, the Jehovah Witnesses, the Buddhists, the Hindus. Not once did you mention the Jews.

I also didn't mention the Taoists. I also didn't mention those from Confucians. I didn't mention Christian Science, Christadelphianism, the Way International, one is Pentecostal. I was only giving representative. I was giving representative.

I was giving representative groups.

Okay. Okay. I was just curious about that. Um Yeah, I'm just make one suggestion. And that's, can you not be so disrespectful towards any religion, whether it's Islam or Hindu or Catholicism or the Episcopalians?

You can get your point across without being disrespectful.

So, how do I respectfully say that? Muslims are.

So how do I none of us, no one should be like that?

So tell me how to word this properly, to say that I believe Islam is false and all adherents of Islam will go to hell. What's the polite way to say that? Tell me how to say that. No, no, no. Help me.

Tell me how to say it politely. In a nice way. How to say that. How to say those things in a nice way.

Okay, I'm going to make it simple for you. I do not believe in any other religion but the Christian religion. I only. Go by the King James Version of the Bible, not the 500 other interpretations of the King James version of the Bible. I only believe in the King James Version of the Bible.

That's how you would say that. No, no, that's not what I asked. I'm going to just tell you, you're pretty typical of the Muslims that I've challenged. Is they're not. You can't even say that.

The reason you.

Okay, we're just moving along. Let's get to Elijah from Pennsylvania. At least, hopefully, Elijah won't interrupt constantly and be rude like she was.

So what do you got, Elijah? Hey, Matt. Got a a quick quick couple questions for you. Uh yes.

So uh my first question is Um Uh what are your What are your thoughts on people who say that? Do you think that? The original Israelites in the Bible were black because I have my opinion on that. And my opinion hasn't changed. No, the genetics doesn't support it.

No, um I've read or I've heard of, let's just say, studies have been done. Um That no, they were they weren't black. Oh. It's just not not necessary to believe. It's just it.

It's not. It's from the black Hebrew Israelite movement, or they call themselves the Hebrew Israelite movement. And it's basically a mostly racist religious system.

Okay. Yeah, and um uh recently I had got into a uh A argument with somebody on in the TikTok comment section about this. And my my final response to him was a was a slam dunk in my opinion. And I believe he realized it was a slam dunk when I gave him the Bible verse, because he didn't respond back. I told him that Israelites could not be black.

Because um In Genesis 10, 6, it says that Cush, which are black people, they descend from Ham, and the Israelites don't descend from Ham, they descend from Shem. And and Genesis ten doesn't say that uh the Chushites descend from Shem at all.

So so th th this verse completely refutes that idea. And and I haven't gotten any any response back from him ever since I brought that up. Good for you. And uh the Cushites are the Ethiopians, and so uh we know they would be the black people there. And incidentally, Moses married a Kushite woman, Ethiopian, if we would say modern geographical thing, in Genesis twelve.

I mean uh And uh exorcist. No, numbers 12, excuse me, numbers 12, 6 through 8. Or actually, 1 through 8. But.

So yeah, it's a very good retort. Yes, very good. That's right. And they won't be able to answer it.

Okay. Yeah, and what I also learned is when I Googled this, I had Googled: is Ethiopia in the Bible referring to modern-day Ethiopia, or is it referring to like other countries in Africa? And what Google told me that it could be referring to both modern-day Ethiopia, but it could also be referring to Sudan as well, because Sudan is right under Egypt.

Okay. Yeah, there's a little bit of debate about exactly where. But I remember reading before that the Kushites were basically the modern Ethiopians. There may be some debate on that, or some, you know, not exact borders that are exactly equal, but it's just that general principle, that general area.

So that's why the Google will probably give you the response like that. Yep. Yeah. Um do we have enough time to like bring up one more uh counter against an another cult?

Okay, so Okay, so the Ku Klux Klan like to say that And the reason why white slaves black because uh noah Cursed Ham in the Bible, but if you actually read the text, it actually says that Noah cursed Canaan and it doesn't say that he cursed the Cushites.

So they twist that text to their own destruction.

Well. Good stuff, man. You should write these down, send them to me. I can include them in my BHI stuff. because I'm expanding that uh outline.

On that stuff. And, um, Yeah, good stuff, man. Good stuff. Mr. Frank.

Yeah. All right.

Uh uh nice speaking with you and I'll uh probably probably call you sometime next week. All right, you keep up the good work. Yeah, so it's called the Hebrew Israelite movement, and they're basically racist. It's a very racist group. Yep.

So yeah, and that and that and that belief of Israelites being black, it's not only within them. Like a a l a lot of the modern black church has also adopted that that theology as well, even though they don't don't agree with the Israelite religion. Right. In fact, over the years, I remember once I had a discussion with a BHI guy and he He said I was a white devil and had to be enslaved to him in the afterlife. I thought, oh that's interesting.

So anyway, I guess they're they don't like slavery in one sense, but do in another So it depends, huh? Anyway, we're out of time, brother, okay, Elijah?

Okay, God bless you.

Okay, you too. Alberto, call back tomorrow. May the Lord bless you all. We are out of time. There's the music.

By God's grace, we'll be back on here tomorrow. We'll talk to you then. Have a good one, everybody. God bless. Another program powered by the Truth Network.
