Hmm. I'm like Nick. I think I'm stumped. I'm probably in the other camp. But, you know, yeah, I love the Justice League.

Yeah, Robbie, I don't know. Tell me.

Well, you might remember that Wonder Woman. It's from the Amazon. Right. And so she had Amazon Prime. I love it.

Well, so what do you call, you know, now that we're talking about the, not Bible League, but the Justice League, so what do you call a league with only two Superheroes in it. What do you call a league with only two? Superheroes in it. There is a league of their own. You're right.

How about you, Randy? I see you jump into the party. What do you think? He looked stumped. He's here.

How about you, Michael? You got it? Yeah, I'm stumped as well. Oh, it's okay. It's the Just Us League.

Just Us League. The Just Us League, all right, and Here's my actual favorite. I'm probably going to be laughing for two or three days after I've developed this particular riddle. Yeah.

So why is it that some people say Jules Verne did not write 20,000 leagues under the sea. Why would it be that?

Well, Robbie, thanks for a few moments. In fact, the entire hour with you and your wonderful listeners. Hey, Lee, you've been a great friend of Bible League over many, many years. I think this is our twelfth. Campaign that we've worked together where we've come and we've said, Look, this is what God is doing in his world.

through his word, would you be a part of this? And Robbie, without any reservation, without any You have asked your listeners over the years to be a part, again, of this kingdom work, this holy business. I cannot help but think: how many Bibleist believers all over the world who really had no hope? Hope of a Bible.

Now have God's word. They're using those Bibles to make much of Him. They're growing in grace. They're pointing others. to the hope of the gospel.

And so we're back with this fall theme. The world needs the word, as you say, by the end of the month. We want to be at a place where we've said, look, we've taken care of the financial constraint. To fund Bibles for 3,500 waiting believers that we know by name at Bible League, right? And these are people that have come through a Bible study from our ministry now in its 87th year.

And then at the end of that, Robbie's they say, We want a Bible. We want to follow Christ. Bible League is there to provide. That Bible in their own language. And then, before I rush ahead, let me just say thanks to this wonderful.

Robbie, if I can just give you a real quick perspective on why we've seen this incredible growth. Look back at the year 2020 when we were all sort of learning how to navigate the COVID restrictions. Bible league reached 1.8 million that year with the gospel in the regions of Asia, Africa, the Middle East. Latin America, a little bit of Europe, a little bit here in the States, right? And when you fast forward to the year 2024, that number increased by 60.

Not 16, but 60%, meaning The Bible League, by the grace of God, reached 2.9 million. With the gospel all over the world. But Robbie, I can tell you that creates a great problem. Even for global ministries like ours, 87 years young, we can estimate, we can say with confidence that about on average nine of ten new believers, new believers, Going without what is so basic to the Christian faith, and that's simply having a Bible. And so, you know, credit that to corrupt governments, you know, places like Communist China, where the government really.

Is antagonistic toward the gospel. Think about majority religions. You know, if you're in the Middle East. And you live in a village where you identify as a believer. It's very likely.

That you make up a very small percentage of that overall population. People live remotely where they've never, you know, frequented a Christian bookstore or a discount retailer. You know, you mentioned Wonder Woman there, you know, getting her sword from Amazon. You know, Robbie, I used to say you could go on Amazon, order a Bible, and be on your doorstep by tomorrow morning. You know, now it's like by eight o'clock tonight.

But, you know, those are not options for the Christians we're talking about today.

So we're together today. I've got just a handful of stories I'd love to share. I'd love to take you to Malawi, Africa. Tell you about the Zalika refugee camp. I don't know if you've heard of this, Robbie.

I happened to see a documentary by PBS on this only a few weeks ago. But it's a place of total chaos. Africa has the most refugees in the world, people that have been forced out of their homelands. They'll never go back, likely, and they're seeking asylum. But again, this is a place.

It started out as a political prisoner's camp. They did not make this with leisure and luxury in mind. They intended for political opponents. To do hard time and likely to die there, but they converted this to a refugee camp. There in Malawi, Africa, about two decades ago.

And Robbie, they've managed to pack 60,000 women, men, and children into this camp that was designed really only for about 10,000.

So there's terrible overcrowding. There's poor sanitation. People get sick, they die here. There's people groups that hate each other. And so there's been rapes, assaults, murders.

There are local churches that said, We've got to take the hope of the gospel into this place. And so, Robbie, they began to work with Bible League. On how we could come together, we provided Bible studies in the languages of Swahili, Kurundi, and French, three of those that's prominent in that camp. And these churches went in, Robbie. They started 50 Bible studies where they would invite people week after week, come learn about Jesus.

Those averaged about 40 to 50 people each, some of those exclusive to women, some exclusive to men. But I can tell you today, Robbie, through the grace and gumption of those local churches going into this place of Total chaos. A thousand people have come to Christ. in recent weeks And Robbie, one of those is a woman by the name of Miriam. Miriam's husband actually died in that camp, leaving her a widowed mother of three children, ages 3, 5, and 7.

Things got so bad for Miriam after she was assaulted in that camp. She thought, I'm going to end my life. I'm going to assume somebody will take care of my children. But Robbie, she was one of these that a Christian invited to come learn about Jesus. Today she's a believer.

She wants to raise those children to know and love Jesus. She's praying for a Bible in the Kurundi language.

So, listen, I don't always wake up and wonder. What is God doing in Malawi, Africa? But through the grace and gumption of these local churches, saying, Look, we've got to bring the hope of the gospel into this Zalika refugee camp, I can tell you today. That a thousand people have said we want to follow Jesus. And so there's a need for Kurundi, Swahili.

And French language Bibles. You don't have to worry about that part of it. That's the heavy lifting that Bible League will take care of. But, Robbie, my prayer today is from, again, wherever you're listening from today, that you can think. I can be an incredible blessing to a thousand new members of our spiritual family.

Listen, God's at work. If you love your Bible, if He's used His Word to grow you, would you give that privilege to others for the princely sum of only $5 a Bible? Yeah, it's mind-blowing, right? And and you know, you you think of each one of those children, right, that they that they brought up without a father. And so here they've they've got a heavenly father as as their mother um is clearly going to raise them i i you know to understand God's word and all that.

But yet, Bible League is going in there and, like you say, providing it in their home language, you know, a way to read it. And it's just, it blows my mind. I'm so grateful.

I think of Solomon there in Proverbs 3, where he says, Don't withhold good from those to whom it is due. Within it, when it's within your power to act. I think of Paul in 1 Corinthians 12, where he says, When one part of the body suffers, we suffer together, right? And in Galatians 6, where he says, look, Bear one another's burdens and thus fulfill The love of Christ. And so, Robbie, again, we look at the aggregate, the sum total, if you will, of many, many years.

Of Kingdom Partnership between Bible League and Truth Network. It's nothing short of amazing. And again, I've been there, I've been on the front lines. Giving out Bibles to new believers and to see that joy and to think it, you know, for the princely sum of $5. That's what the listeners to Kingdom Pursuits.

It's in his world through his word. And to thank that, wherever you're listening today, you get to be an incredible blessing to these, you know, these Bible-less believers, people that have come to. Saving faith. There's not a place on earth where Bible League ministers in our 87 years. As a ministry, that we're not connected to the local evangelical church.

That is the blueprint. For church growth in the New Testament, why would we deviate from that? And so, what you're doing today really is no less important than what people like Praveen in India is doing for the kingdom of God. But, Robbie, as I take you to India, let me say thanks to Aricelli, Jonathan, and Denise, All Truth Network listeners, add another section. 70 vibes to the tally.

As you say, by the time we hit the end of October, we want to be at a place where we can say we've taken care of the financial constraint. To fund 3,500 Bibles for waiting believers. And I love, you know, mentioned earlier, you know, this is October, kind of the season of harvest. And that brought to mind a scripture. Of course, I'm with Bibley.

You would expect me to throw some scripture in, right? But Paul in Second Corinthians nine, he says, God will give you spiritual seed. He'll make that seed grow. He'll produce a great harvest From your goodness. You know, that's the assurance we have as you make, again, whatever financial investment.

You're able to make today is there is a great harvest that we're seeing in places like India. But that comes from what? Your goodness today. Your goodness is what? It's a $5 a Bible gift today.

And again, you pray about it. Robbie and I can suggest. Gift levels of maybe $100 for 20 Bible set.

But Robbie would love to take you to the country. Of India, as I've mentioned, this is the most populated country in the world.

1.5 billion people call India home. That makes up that's about 20% of the world. You know, the Prime Minister there, a man by the name of Modi, essentially runs a government that's closely aligned with Hinduism. They have said, really, there's no place for Christianity within the walls of India. In fact, there are anti-conversion laws on the books in quite a few states in India.

This is what? If you tell somebody what Jesus means to you, you're subjected to being thrown in jail. I mean, it's that. severe in the country of India. Let me tell you about a man who has kingdom pursuits in mind, a fellow by the name of Praveen.

What's his story?

Well, he is a former radicalized Hindu. Robbie, there was a time when he would beat church, beat Christians. And destroy churches. But God had His way with this man, He became a believer. Praveen went on to become a seminary graduate, a pastor today.

You know, he told me on the day he graduated, they took him to the outskirts of town near on the outside of Karnataka, India. They had he and his fellow seminary graduates dig a hole, Robbie, just to signify, not that that'd be the burial plot where they would be buried, but to signify that they were willing to suffer, maybe even die, to see the gospel go forth in their native India. It was very, very moving. I've never forgot him telling me. But let me tell you what happened to him.

When he did become a believer, Robbie, his father suffered. Saw his conversion to Christianity as a disgrace to the family. He withdrew his inheritance, began to shun him. The entire family turned their backs. on Praveen.

He eventually married. He and his wife have several children. But there's a group there within India. It's called the Naxalites. They're a rebel group, they've been around since the 1960s.

Constantly fighting with the government. They absolutely hate Christians. They detained Praveen and his wife for many, many hours when he was in the midst of trying to plant a church. Through the help of Bible League. And Robbie, if there's places in the world where there's not an abundance of churches, Bible League is able to say, here's resources without charge to grow your church to the glory of God.

And that's important because So many pastors like Braveene live in extreme poverty. I mean, they have virtually nothing. Physically, spiritually, they're eternally wealthy, right? But these Naxalites really have been a thorn in the side, if you will. For this man Praveen, but really they've been the mission field.

Let me tell you, they paid a price as they've planted several churches in India. Praveen has been beaten by villagers. The church has been destroyed not once but twice. Many of the church members were beaten by Hindus who came into their Little church compound shouting Hail Ram, right, to a unknown Hindu God. They even beat women and children.

But Robbie, I can tell you, through the grace and the gumption of this man, Praveen, 30 of those Naxalites Have come to Christ for our leading Bible studies right now from Bible League, and because of their influence, by the grace of God, they've seen 400 people. Come to Christ there in India.

Now, listen, there's an incredible need. I can tell you, if we had a million Bibles today, Robbie, we could put those into empty waiting hands, just in India alone. But again, with the story, this man Praveen, all that he's gone through, and yet by the grace of God, 400 new believers today praying for Bibles. Hey, listen, it's why we're here doing this kingdom business, this holy work, and it happens. at only five dollars a Bible today.

Is that Boy, that's mind blowing to me, Michael, that If you had a million Bibles, There there are people praying for that right now in India. I mean, isn't that incredible? I mean, you're not going to tune in your favorite cable news source or your front page of your paper and hear that type of news, but on Kingdom Pursuits today, we can tell you with confidence: if we had a million Bibles right now in languages like Tamil and Hindi, Robbie, we would put those to use. We have believers. Waiting for those today.

But again, we want to do that for 400 at the moment. Again, I know it's very tempting to say. What does my $5 Bible do in a place like India, in this great big world? But again, the story I just mentioned, it all began with the Bible.

Somebody had. Had a Bible, they were able to share with this man, Praveen, back when he was a radicalized Hindu. This is the pure gospel, right? And he became a believer, and of course, a gracious God bringing this man from the grips of spiritual darkness.

So, again, if you'll make that gift today, I promise at Bible League, we'll follow through with everything that we're telling you. We'll do today. We'll squeeze every time to the glory of God and again, bless. 400 waiting believers, not asking for our pity today, not asking for our protections. They're praying for the precious word of God to have a message.

Didn't go to church much as a young person, but For whatever reason, when we lived in Naperville, Illinois, my parents Yeah. for a very short season took us to a church there, and that church, for whatever reason, gave sixth graders a Bible. And so I think it was the first Christian church there. Anyway, they gave me this Bible. And I had this Bible in my possession.

You know, of all the things that I moved all over with as a young person. Um you know I Moved away from my family. They lived in one place. I lived in another. But the only thing I could never throw that Bible out because it was like, well, I could throw out all this other possessions I had, but I never could throw that Bible out.

But somebody, you know, some group of people there at that church paid for that Bible, which stuck with me until I became about 35 years old when I picked up the book, The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent. People wanting to sell more cars was the reason I was reading it. But it said at the very beginning, it said, if you want to have a positive mental attitude, you need to. Read the Bible an hour every morning. First, ask the Holy Spirit to show you what it means, but begin reading your Bible.

And I was like, I've got one. I have one. And so whoever provided that Bible. right years ago in Naperville, Illinois. Think You know, what fruit God made come from that one Bible because who would have guessed that my life would have ended up where it is, and I've been able to help so many other people with the Bible, both, you know, in sharing Bibles through Bible League and sharing the understanding God's given me through the radio waves.

It's mind-blowing.

So you just, like you say, that one $5 Bible, you don't know you're reaching the next Billy Graham of India or somebody else, right? One. Or the next Robbie Dilmore, right? I don't know about that. Yeah, Robbie, I love you.

And what a beautiful thing we get a chance in October once again to join with the Bible League to join. Now we're Well, I want to take you to Venezuela and South America. Again, one of these places where Christianity is growing in incredible numbers. And as I do that, let me add another 45 Bibles to the tally. We've heard from Truth Network listeners, Jeffrey, Charlene, and Nina. They all said, look, Count us in.

So Robbie, you're kind of leading the charge here. Thank you for your generous gift. Robbie, they're members of our spiritual family. They've all come through a Bible study, about an eight-week study from Bible League.

I've been through that, Robbie. I feel like these believers, wherever they are in the world, are in a good place to begin that walk with Christ. But again, the Lord, in His sovereignty, has them planted. In places where it's very difficult to find a Bible, but enter the Truth Network listening family, and again, call by call. You know, I think of the psalmist in 119. He says, You know, cherish the Bible, you know, cherish God's precepts, hide it in your heart, but. How do you do that if you've never held it in your hand?

Again, Latin America is one of those regions, Robbie, where Christianity is growing in absolutely incredible numbers. I want to take you to a small church. just outside the capital of Caracas of Venezuela.

The drug cartel really rules the day in these parts. They funnel a lot of drugs, and they do that often through prostitution rings, human trafficking.

Now they'll recruit I should say force Women, even girls as young as 11, 12 years of age, into prostitution down there. Robbie, there is a local evangelical church that said, look, we're fed up by this. We've got to do something. To bring hope to these women. And so they worked with another ministry that would teach them how to forcibly rescue these women from the grips of human trafficking.

But they worked with Bible League to be able, once those women were brought to a place of safety, to be able to introduce them to the hope of the gospel. And so they worked with us on that. Robbie, they've paid a price in the midst of wanting to rescue women from human trafficking. One of the members. Was actually murdered by the drug cartel in the course of one of those rescues.

They dragged his corpse behind a truck down one of the main streets, a small village just outside of Caracas. I know that's.

somewhat graphic, but they were trying to send a message. Don't mess with the drug cartel, but this church. On fire for Jesus is squarely focused on what they believe God has called them to do. And again, that's to bring these women from the grips. of spiritual darkness and also human trafficking to a place of freedom, a new life in Christ.

And Robbie, they have seen one hundred twenty women rescued, brought to a place of safety. And then over the last few weeks, They've been bringing them through this Bible study from Bible. You know, in about an eight-week time, they're able to learn who is Jesus, how is He both God and man? What's it mean to die to self and to put on Jesus? In the day-to-day, so I can tell you today, in a place where there really is not an abundance of Bibles, 120 women have come to Christ, they're new creations in Jesus.

And as I said earlier, Robbie, these Christians are not asking for our pity, they're not praying for our protections today, they're praying for what? The precious word of God. They need those in the Spanish language Bible, and it's why we're doing this kingdom business today.

You know, I learned this morning as I was studying that very verse that you just described, which is in Psalms 119.11. against is actually so I don't miss you. That I'm gonna hide m your word in my heart.

so that I don't miss you. In other words, when you got that. And when these women begin to get that in their heart, think about how badly they've been. Brutalized. Think about the trauma that they are experiencing to have those words in their heart.
