It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network.

Thank you to everybody tuned in all over North America. You could be in Hawaii. You could be in Miami. Man, you could be in Montreal. You could be in Texas. They thawing out in Texas. I think they're thawing out.

They got snow on the ground somewhere. Me? I'm in Atlanta, Georgia. Our super producer and host, Ryan Hickey, he's in New York City. And this is where we'll be for the next three hours. This show gets started every weekday, 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 Pacific. If you're just tuning in, where have you been?

You can hit rewind on the Free Odyssey app. We've already talked about a lot. Pete Carroll, new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. We talked about the potential of Russell Wilson reuniting with Pete Carroll in Vegas. And then I told you, well, the Raiders ain't doing nothing but buying time anyway. Pete Carroll not going to be sticking around out there forever. That's not happening. And then Russell Wilson, who's banking on him? I mean, regardless of whether he's a stealer or a raider, Russell Wilson ain't going to be around for a long time. He's out here trying to collect checks.

We have so much more to get into. The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new head coach. Yep, that's right. They found themselves another victim.

I wonder how long Liam Cohen is going to last. And apparently the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were not too happy with his exit. He gave him the cold shoulder. Man, I got it. Well, this is a quick story, not a personal story.

I don't have any of those. The way this man, Liam Cohen, left the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Imagine being married. And there's a woman, a beautiful woman who lives across the street.

Imagine you're in the front lawn. And the beautiful woman gives you the eyes to come over. You go, nah, nah, I'm not coming over. I'm staying over here with my wife.

I'm a married man. Your wife says, thank you. So I love you, baby, right? I love you so much. I love you. I love you.

I love you. And then the lady across the street gives you the eyes again. And then you just leave your wife and never answer her again.

That's what this guy did. A couple of days ago, he said, nah, I'm not, I'm not crossing the street. I'm staying with my wife. I'm not leaving. I'm staying with my wife. We're going to renew our vows tomorrow.

And then he went across the street and never spoke to his wife again. Yeah, I don't know about this Liam Cohen guy. I wouldn't trust him. Man, I don't trust the Jacksonville Jaguars. Would you trust, Hickey, would you trust the Jaguars to, to watch some money for you? Oh, God, no, no way.

Yeah. Maybe, maybe they deserve each other, but we're going to get into that situation. This situation in Jacksonville, uh, in a bit, we're going to talk about the Kansas city chiefs and the Buffalo bills. That is your main event on Sunday evening, Sunday afternoon, Buffalo bills are trying to get past the Kansas city chiefs, the Buffalo bills with Josh Allen. They are trying to make the super bowl. Matt Perino is going to join us from Syracuse.com.

He'll be here with us in about 15 minutes. I'm going to get his thoughts on the Buffalo bills and Josh Allen, ridiculously efficient this year. And it could all be for naught. He might be the MVP this season, and it's all for naught. If he doesn't make a super bowl.

There's nobody cares. I mean, man, if you, if you're up in Buffalo, if you're up in Western New York, do you care if Josh Allen wins an MVP? Well, sick and tired of hearing about him winning the MVP. And if he actually wins it and there's no super bowl appearance, who cares?

Is it going to be Patrick Mahomes every year? I'm not mad. I don't care. But I mean, geez, I don't care. I'm not mad. I don't care.

But I mean, sheesh, eventually somebody else has to slay the dragon. 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. That's 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. Let's go ahead and hit the phone lines. We got James. He's calling from Erie, Pennsylvania, right on the water. Hey, James, you're on the JR Sport Reef Show.

How are you? JR, my brother, what's going on? I appreciate you having me on real quick. I just want to let you know I really love your show and you got that swagger.

It's not like we're just on a radio show and we're talking about sports. You got that little bit of swag on you and I love it. So I appreciate you and I appreciate your show, brother. Thank you.

You can bet you'll hear yourself saying that for for a while. OK, thank you, James. Yeah, you're very welcome. We're going to snip that and use it. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, yeah, I appreciate you. Y'all go ahead. Use that now.

Go to use that. So I'm in Erie. I'm on the water. I'm right by Buffalo. OK, I hear about the Buffalo Bills. We love the Buffalo Bills. I'm a Steelers fan, but they're dead and gone. But anyway, I got to root for Josh Allen.

I got to root for him. I don't want to see Patrick Mahomes in another Super Bowl. This isn't, what's his name? Bill Murray. This isn't Groundhog Day. I don't want to see that. I'm in Pennsylvania.

I'm six and a half hours away from Philly. And I really, really want to run. I really want to root for him, but I can't because I love Jayden Daniels. When's the last time we've seen a rookie quarterback like this? I mean, he's a humble young man. He's a man of God. He's just so humble. I just want him to go all the way and win it. Lastly, Russell Wilson is not going to be in Pittsburgh because the Pittsburgh Steelers have their answer on their roster now.

His name is Justin Fields. He's a young quarterback that was picked really, really high in a draft. Work that kid just like Lamar. He's a dual threat. Let him cook. Let him do what he do, JR. Appreciate you having me on.

Thank you so much. Shout out to James O'Connor from Erie, Pennsylvania. I know Erie.

I know quite a few I know quite a few people out in Erie. Justin Fields is a free agent as well. Like there's no guarantee that Justin Fields is going to return for all intents and purposes.

Couldn't imagine this being a a mind bleep. Imagine the Raiders saying we want Justin Fields. We don't want Russell Wilson. Imagine that. I wouldn't be surprised if Justin Fields ended back up with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But let me tell you this. Unless he develops, he is not a threat to continually move the football down the field. He is not the past. He's not even the pastor that Lamar Jackson was a few years ago. Now, who the hell is developing into Lamar Jackson? I don't think anybody know time soon. So if I want to think about a quarterback who in a few years can get me 41 touchdowns in the air, four interceptions on the ground, another 900 yards rushing.

I don't think so. I think we just have one guy in Lamar. It's tough, man.

It's tough. People love Justin Fields. But and I wouldn't be I wouldn't be mad if the Steelers gave him another shot. But if the Steelers are just running in space and can't throw the ball down the field and let's be real, they don't have another threatening playmaker outside of George Pickens.

And George Pickens is just as likely to catch a touchdown pass as he is to throw a tantrum. I mean, I've never seen a grown man throw so many fits. What do you need a pacifier? Need some warm milk? What are we doing here? You're a grown ass man. Get it together. 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27.

Let's say 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. He also said that he is rooting for the bills. Think a lot of people are rooting for the bills, right? If I got to go based on a conversation that we had yesterday, people are looking at the Chiefs and just all last week with the Texans.

We've heard this for years now. The referees love the Chiefs. If you beat the Chiefs, you got to beat the Chiefs and the zebras like, oh, come on enough of that crap. I'm not taking a deep dive into the conversation that we had yesterday, but the reality is, man, these NFL games aren't rigged. I think they're rigging these games. You think Vegas wouldn't be ringing alarm bells? You think they're messing up billions of dollars messing up the validity of the games?

Hell no. That's why we got injury reports. I mean, NFL is not rigging games, so let's throw that the hell up on out the window. But the Buffalo Bills, this is a team that's been smacked around and eliminated by the Chiefs the three out of the last four years. Three out of the last four years. Excuse me.

And it's nuts. Josh Allen, his last three playoff games against the Chiefs. He's 0-3.

Go home, stay home, go on vacation, go play golf. Even in those three losses, Josh Allen has been amazing. The seven touchdowns to one interception. Josh Allen has seven rushing touchdowns in his playoff career. He's only second to Steve Young in that space. Josh Allen might win MVP this year. Patrick Mahomes is not even a finalist.

But they have to overcome that. I mean, damn it, if we go back to November. The Buffalo Bills beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

None of that amounts to nothing. Unless they win on Sunday. It seems like ages ago, we just had the national championship in college football on Monday right here in Georgia. We saw what took place as Notre Dame lost to Ohio State. So many conversations about Ryan Day being vindicated, even though he lost to Michigan.

I don't want to say Buffalo is in a similar position, but kind of sort of. Nobody cares about McDermott. That's not the point.

The point is. You can win 15 games. Win 13 games, 12 games. You can beat Lamar Jackson in Baltimore. You can beat up on the lesser teams. You can smash the Broncos.

You can do all of that. Nobody cares unless you beat the Chiefs. You know what Josh Allen talked about this, too?

And it didn't seem that all that complicated when he gave his answer. He was asked about the keys, the necessary things you need to do to beat the Chiefs. One, have a good week of practice, making sure that what we're putting into the game plan, guys are understanding it and going out there and practicing hard. And then when we get on the field on Sunday, just trusting in the game plan, trusting each other.

And then we're going to be trusting in the game plan, trusting each other and have fun playing the game. Now, queue up Allen Iverson practice. Talk about practice.

That's the keys to beat. So they have wack practices, weak practices, uninspired practices all the mother times practice. Cue up Mara playoffs. We might as well get practice. What are we doing now? Imagine this is going to be a close game. Yesterday, in this day in sports history, we went back three years. They played in that divisional game. 25 points scored in the last two minutes.

What? What's back and forth and back and forth like a video game? The NFL had to change the overtime rules because Josh Allen never even got a chance to touch the ball again. Do I think we're going to have one of those shootouts on Sunday?

I have no idea. I know it's going to be a close game. And why wouldn't it be? These are two of the best teams in the NFL. Simple as that. And Patrick Mahomes, he knows as much. They know easy about the bills. Listen, when you play great football teams like that, it kind of usually ends with kind of split type of deal there. And so we've been able to beat them in the playoffs and they've gotten us in a regular season. But if you look at the games, every game is close. So it just comes down to a play here or there that kind of usually that makes an impact on the outcome.

Man. Miss field goal, extra point. Von Miller sack, Chris Jones sack. Ill-timed interception. This is what we're going to get.

This is a tough one. Andy Reid was asked whether or not the Chiefs have an advantage because they're trying to three-peat. This is a Kansas City Chiefs team. Think about this with Patrick Mahomes at the helm and the playoffs. He has a record of 16 and three. He's tied with Montana for the most post-season victories or excuse me, second behind Tom Brady, 16 and three in the playoffs. Listen to Andy Reid talk about the experience.

Normally it doesn't hurt for sure. I don't know how you weigh out the advantage of it, but I feel like we play these guys all the time. So they know us, we know them, but I'm glad to answer your question. I'm glad we have all those guys.

Um, and you'll need all of them. Man, this is, this is like a Superbowl type game. Like these are the, these are the football games that we have to enjoy. There's only have three of them left with the Superbowl.

You never know what happens. Superbowl could be an ass whooping. The Superbowl could be a blowout. The most exciting thing about the Superbowl, it could be exciting. Could be depressing. You could completely not care.

May I ask you a question? Man, I'd hate it if Kendrick Lamar was the most interesting thing at the Superbowl. That'd be depressing.

Hickey. Well, he, he's going to play the, uh, the Drake diss song. He has to, right?

Not like us. He has to play it. Oh, he better.

Oh my God. He better. Are they trying to make Drake like move to Mars? Possibly. I mean, I guess, uh, yeah. I don't know if Jay Z has a vendetta.

I guess you're going to try, this should be the platform, right? To really just knock them out completely. Imagine being dissed at the most widely watched event in America. Hickey, that's, that's brutal.

There's no coming back from that. We've had some brutal diss songs. I mean, Ice Cube sends some diss songs out, Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac, their disses led to them not being alive. A diss song at the Superbowl? Hickey had a diss song at the top of the charts for the whole summer.

Very catchy too. Drake is going to be crying. He's going to cry.

I'm, I'm slightly starting to feel bad for that guy. Like, man, that's terrible. Hickey, that's like, if somebody had a sign at halftime, it's like if Kendrick Lamar, just at the end of his performance, just said, I hate Ryan Hickey. That'd be like, like how that is. People would Google you and they'd be like, I hate him too. That would not, you would not see me on Monday. That's for sure.

I'd be in hiding for a long time after that. And Drake knows it's coming too. That's why he's trying to sue everybody. Trying to sue everybody so they don't play a diss record at the Superbowl. Anyway, enjoy the football because we don't know what the Superbowl is going to look like.

You know what? We're going to take a break. When we come back, we're going to have a chat. Syracuse.com's own Matt Perino. I'm going to get his thoughts on the Buffalo Bills, what they need to do. I'm going to give my predictions.

Hickey's going to give his, we have more to do. The JR Sport Brief Show, the Infinity Sports Network. Don't move. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. Oh man, we're getting ready for football. We're getting ready for the NFC Championship game. We're getting ready for the AFC Championship game.

And I think I've seen how this has gone in the past between the Chiefs and the Bills. To talk about the matchup that we will see on Sunday, what needs to happen, how the Bills can turn things around and get to the Super Bowl with Josh Allen. Joining us right now is Matt Perino from Syracuse.com. Matt, how are you? I'm good. How are you?

I'm excellent. Well, I guess everybody's familiar with these two teams. We watch them all the time. They're on all the big time, prime time games. What needs to happen for these Buffalo Bills to finally get over the Kansas City Chiefs hump? I mean, I really think it comes down to the fact that these two teams, no matter what, regular season, postseason, they play each other so close. I think it was somebody put out a graphic early in the week, their last 10 games, each team's won five and each team has scored 251 points in those games.

So about as even a matchup as you'll find in modern sports and the NFL and everything else. So it comes down to, in those key moments, third and shorts, key moments in the fourth quarter, not committing turnovers. All of those little things on the road for the Bills against this Chiefs team, they're going to add up over the course of a game.

And they did last week. I mean, it wasn't an explosive Josh Allen performance. The defense, they forced three turnovers.

Those were the splash plays, but they also allowed Lamar Jackson to throw for a couple of touchdowns and Derek Henry to control the game in the third quarter, but they found ways to win. That's been the story of the Bills season. They got to find a way to win in a place that they'd never won in the playoffs, which Josh Allen under center.

Well, Matt, what is the feeling in western New York surrounding Josh Allen? We know he's an MVP candidate. Do people even care about the individual awards?

People would call me all the time, MVP, MVP, MVP. I said, yeah, but go to the Super Bowl first. Yeah, that's, it's a funny kind of dynamic, right? Because I think Josh Allen has embraced the city. Like, I mean, I don't know if there's ever been an athlete that's truly embraced Buffalo the way that Josh has. And because of that, there's this passion for him and love for him that I do think the fan base wants his individual success and his individual value to be measured in a way nationally that would come with an MVP award, but don't get it twisted. I mean, you know, everybody here knows the value of a Super Bowl. And, you know, this is a fan base that if you remember back in the early nineties, went to four straight and all four of those years, they were the runner up. And so to have now the opportunity with a franchise quarterback, with a team that's winning 10 plus games every year.

And it just feels like it's their, their year in so many different ways. This is the most beatable, or at least it seems they've always, there's always holes that you could poke in a dynasty and in a great team that has had all these great moments. And they, all they've done this year is won 15 regular season games and then onto the playoffs where, you know, they took care of Houston pretty easily last week. So it's easy to poke the holes, but this is a team that's so well balanced. And the thing too, that I think people have to understand nationally is that Brandon being has been, he spent the last four years since that AFC title game loss in 2020, 2021, building this roster and this team in the image of the chiefs with the hope to beat the chiefs.

Like it's built. That's why last week was such a bad matchup. They don't match up well against a run heavy team, right? They match up better to defend Patrick Mahone. They've built their defensive line that way. They're linebackers.

Mabellano wasn't available in this game last, last year. He's going to be on Sunday and they're hoping that that's a big difference maker. Well, Matt, you talk about the John Shaolin and obviously the hopes of, of this team getting to the Superbowl and winning.

They got a guy on the team that they brought in to try to help do that. He has two Superbowl rings with two different organizations. That's, that's Von Miller, whether it's his legal issues or his injuries. Is he good to go? He looked good in that last game. He's not playing every, every down. What are your thoughts on how he's kind of hit his stride, I guess now at this stage of the season?

Yeah, he wasn't available. He played against the Chiefs last year, but last year was kind of just like a, like a washed year for him because coming off of that injury at his age, he just never looked like the old Von Miller and he had zero sacks in 14 games last year. It was really, he rewrote the story a little bit this season, but when he first got to Buffalo, if you remember in that regular season game, he had a sack, his pressures were off the charts. And then again, this season against the Chiefs, he sacked Patrick Mahomes and had a big game in that, in that game.

And he's bounced back. He's not the Von Miller that you remember from the Rams Superbowl and certainly not the Denver Superbowl, but he still has the ability on third down to be a factor as a pass rusher. That's what they're going to need him to be. But really the star that's kind of starting to shine on that defensive line is Greg Russo on the outside. He's had some of his biggest games against the Chiefs since the Bills drafted a lot of Miami in 2020, and they're going to need him to be a real problem as a pass rusher on the edge. They also like to move him inside on third downs.

They like to, you know, run some, some games with their defensive line where he'll twist inside and rush at different levels of that line. So it's that, that's also been the other storyline with these two teams is that the Bills have spent so much draft capital and money on their defensive line to try to deal with Patrick Mahomes, but in the biggest game against Mahomes, they've come up short in the last three playoff games, a total of three sacks combined in those games. They got to get to Mahomes. They have to affect Mahomes and they feel like they're, they're built now more than ever to do that.

Matt Perino is joining us from Syracuse.com. If we take a look at the offensive side of the ball, we know that heading into this season, there was going to be a little bit more of a, of a spread around with no Stephon Diggs. They acquire Amari Cooper back in October and he hasn't necessarily been used or targeted as much.

Why has that been the case? And, and should we expect a little bit of an uptick this upcoming Sunday or this weekend? It's always a factor and it honestly will depend on what the Bill, what the Chiefs do and how they deploy Trent McDuffie, their, their superstar cornerback. He could play on the boundary. He can match up against Amari Cooper or rookie Keyon Coleman, but the Bill's best wide receiver in that game in week 11 was Khalil Shakir and he operates primarily out of the slot. So they move McDuffie in. Now you have a couple of boundary cornerbacks that I feel like the Bills will probably look to target and potentially attack. And that's where Cooper really comes into the game.

He had two huge plays against the Chiefs in week 11. And, you know, they just become such a run centric offense that at times he's not out there. Like they're not asking 31 year old Amari Cooper to get, to roll his sleeves up and get dirty in the run game like he did probably four or five years ago.

They asked veteran Mac Collins to do that. He's an elite level blocker at the wide receiver position and he plays a ton of the snaps and Coleman has shown some ability to make strides in that department too. And then you look at the tight ends, Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid, they're on the field a ton together. When they're out there by themselves, they look for them to be blockers and involved in the passing game. So yeah, could Cooper have a big game?

This one? Yes, but they've been built to be able to compete even if some of the bigger names aren't necessarily the ones that are going up. I mean, you think back to that Lions game when the Bills went off in that fireworks show, it was Ty Johnson, their third down running back that had this explosive game, a touchdown. I think he went for 80 yards receiving and over 150 total all-purpose yards. They have playmakers at every position and every spot on the depth chart. Well Matt, with all the the offense that they have spread around, I don't even think in some regards James Cook gets as much respect as that he deserves. What are you expecting from this game on Sunday? I'm sure you think it's going to be a close one.

What should we look out for? Yeah, I think Cook is definitely somebody that they're looking to get heavily involved. They struggle to run the ball against the Chiefs in week 11, but I do think that this Chiefs run defense has been susceptible to big games on the ground, on the stretch. With that said, Cook's real evolution this season has been in the red zone. He is such a physical runner, something that wasn't really his MO coming out of Georgia. People thought he was going to be more of a third, third down, change your pace kind of back, and he's turned into a red zone threat. So with Cook, Johnson, and then you obviously have Josh Allen, the runner, that's the difference maker for me. When Josh Allen gets involved in the run game, and he always does against the Chiefs, he is going to run design runs, he's going to scramble, that one fourth and two touchdown run against the Chiefs in week 11, that was off script. He just saw an opening and hit the hole and the rest is history. He's going to try to make himself a big part of the passing game, or the rushing game.

He's so good in that department. Matt, are you predicting a Buffalo Bills victory? I am. I got the Bills going on the road to get a 28-26 win. I've been back and forth on it all week. It's so hard to pick any team going into Arrowhead in the playoffs and winning. It just feels like their year in so many different ways. Maybe famous last words, but they found ways to win and they do have in their back pocket, if you remember that one game years ago when Josh Allen just went crazy in the fourth quarter, bringing them back time after time after time. He's had some of his best moments in the Arrowhead.

So I think they're going to bank on that and I'm picking them in a slight victory. Sean McDermott has been criticized in a lot of cases for not getting this team over the hump. If they do not end up victorious on Monday, I'm assuming some Bills fans who might want to give him the boot, they're just going to have to get over it. They're not going to let him go, right?

Oh yeah. His seat is as cool as probably anybody's in the NFL is outside of maybe Andy Reid, right? The ownership group loves him. He's created a culture of winning. If you think about it, six playoff appearances in seven seasons since he arrived. He is winning 10 plus games every season and this year, you remember the conversations we were having in August, nationally about this team. It was a huge step back and was it going to be Aaron Rodgers and the Jets that took over the AFC East or Tua and McDaniel and Tyreek down in Miami and all the Bills have done this season is vanquish every single one of them.

They basically went perfect in the division outside of that last week game where they lost to the Patriots and didn't play anybody but they went undefeated at home and this is about as complete and deep a team as they've had and they literally moved on from five captains from last year's team. So I think that Sean McDermott is very much safe. I think he's gotten much better in some areas where people have criticized game management, decision-making, situational football awareness but now he's got to do it on the big stage and I think he actually said something interesting on Monday when he was asked about, you know, if you think back to that 2020 championship game against the Chiefs, he went for a field goal on fourth and two deep in that territory down eight and he was heavily criticized for that. He said he learned from that. It's one of the reasons why over time he's become more aggressive because you know on the road against this team you need those points, you need touchdowns and I think that he'll be better off for it in a game like this.

Well, for a lack of or outside of a lack of of success in getting to the Super Bowl, I mean have have Bills fans that have been overly critical of him, have we reached the point of Bills fans being spoiled with the regular season? Is that why they can't stand this guy sometimes? Well, there's a lot of things. You know, there was that big story that came out last year about some of the stuff that went on behind the scenes and learning a little bit more about, like, because they've been a very button-up organization since McDermott took over. So not a lot of like intel on the operation, but some coaches with some, you know, didn't always feel respected or felt like, you know, it wasn't a very cooperative culture, but of course those were coaches that had moved on at that point, right?

Though not going to talk probably well of a boss that maybe let you go or it didn't work out with, but not whether that's here or there. I think the big piece is, Ken, do you trust the guy in the big moments against the best teams in the playoffs? And I think there's a faction of the fan base that just doesn't trust him in those moments, but he has a chance to earn some big-time trust on Sunday.

He sure as hell does. Hey, Matt, thank you so much for the time. Where can people follow you and your work with Syracuse.com? Yeah, I'm at Matt Perrino, P-A-R-R-I-N-O over on X and all the social platforms and it's the Shout Buffalo Bills football podcast wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, Matt, thank you so much. Who do you think is going on to the Super Bowl?

The phone lines are open. I'm going to give my thoughts. Hickey's going to give his thoughts. We're going to get into some of the other, well, the other matchup. We got one more, the NFC Championship game.

We got a lot to do. You're listening to the JR Sportbreeze. It's the JR Sportbreeze show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. Thank you so much to Matt Perrino for joining us in the last break from Syracuse.com. He is selecting, he is choosing, he is believing in the Buffalo Bills to beat the Kansas City Chiefs this upcoming Sunday and the AFC Championship game if the Buffalo Bills win. This will be the first time in the Josh Allen era that they go to the Super Bowl. This will be the first time that they advance back to the Super Bowl since they lost multiple times in the early 90s. Some people remember that.

Some people don't want to remember that. This is a close game. This is a toss up game.

I'm going with the Chiefs. It's real simple. And to be real, everybody wants to sound like a genius. Everybody wants to sound like a know it all. Everybody wants to sound like, well, if I say that, man, I don't got to sound smart. It really boils down to this. An old crazy man said this, not Pete Cowell because he's not old and crazy, just old. Hickey, people are going to hate my guts because of this stuff.

They are. Yeah, sensing a lot of real ageism out of you today. How about that? How old is Ric Flair, Hickey?

Do you know? Oh, old. Well, actually, probably not as old as you think with that lifestyle. Well, alcohol will age you. I will say he looks like 75. I'll say like 63. He is 75. Really?

On the dot. He will. Wow. He will be 76 in about exactly a month. His birthday is February 25th. Then he died and come back to life, right? Didn't he die? Yeah, he was down bad. Was that like covid time?

I don't know. It was it was not good. Covid didn't knock him out, though.

It wasn't covid. This is life. Life said, come here. Grim Reaper said, come here. No wrong day.

I'll be back in a little while. Anyway, I heard that was dark. What? No, I heard he had a he had a heart attack in the ring. A real one, not a real one like recently, not like a fake one like 20 years ago. Hey, we're going to have a script that Ric Flair is old, so he's going to have a heart attack in the ring.

No, he legitimately had a he had a heart attack in one of his last matches. That's scary. And he kept going.

He's he's built for a tough. They don't build like good old Rick anymore, that's for sure. They don't. But here's the thing. Ric Flair said it. I'm going to repeat it. To be the man. You got to beat the man. That's it.

I got I got no further information. I got nothing else to add when it comes to why I believe in the Chiefs. The Buffalo Bills could win this easy.

I'm not going to give you no genius answer. Buffalo Bills are great. It's not like in these three losses that Josh Allen has just been a piece of garbage. He has not seven touchdowns to one interception. Oh, and three. We all remember that playoff game back and forth and back and forth.

There's like watching a pinball game. He just didn't get the ball back. I'm sure he would have scored again.

He had been blasted. This is they just beat him. He just has to beat him in the postseason.

Look, I am rolling with Patrick Mahomes in the Kansas City Chiefs until they lose and they're not going to win every single time. The Buffalo Bills could very easily go out there and beat them on Sunday. I mean, based on what we've seen the past several years, why wouldn't I not or why would I not expect another close game? We're going to get a classic.

I don't know. Buffalo Bills gave us a damn good one against the Ravens on Sunday. Who knows how that game would have ended if Mark Andrews would have caught the ball or didn't fumble at that.

I mean, we can go through what ifs until the sky is blue. One thing that hasn't happened is the Bills beating the Chiefs. And listen, it's not written in the cards.

It's not written in the sky that it absolutely has to happen. I'm going with the Chiefs. They got the best quarterback in the game. Josh Allen might walk away with an MVP. I wouldn't be surprised if he took another elbow.

Hickey, what you got, man? I am with you. I do think the Chiefs win.

And in large part, I'm with you in the sense of like, I'm going to pick them until someone beats them. At this point, they've earned the respect to give themselves the benefit of the doubt, especially since they're at home as well. That Arrowhead crowd will give them a huge advantage. I think the Bills are built. This is the best chance for the Bills to finally beat the Chiefs, even though this game is on the road and last year was at home. They are healthier as Matt just outlined with Matt Milano and Von Miller and some other players as well.

But they're more balanced. They've run the ball better. They've been better defensively in the postseason compared to previous years. This does feel like, team-wise, the best the Bills have had around Josh Allen and their best shot to finally knock off Mahomes. But I'm with you. Until it actually happens, until the Bills actually beat the Chiefs, I can't pick against Kansas City. I got to see it happen first.

And this is one of these unfortunate things. You know, Patrick Mahomes has had to play through personal adversity plenty of times. It doesn't change anything. He's like a football terminator.

I'm glad. He doesn't. He comes across as a normal guy. And he's not a normal guy. This guy is going to make, I don't even know, hundreds of millions of dollars or he's made hundreds of millions of dollars.

But he doesn't come across as arrogant or brash or he doesn't do quote unquote stuff. We know last year's Super Bowl, his dad had to deal with another DUI situation. And it was revealed, or at least I saw today, that his grandfather on his mother's side is now in hospice. And look, that is, that's not something that anybody wants to deal with. And we know this is all a part of life. We have to deal with it, deal with it, whether we want to or not. It's just how it is now, whether or not that's something that that fuels him or it blocks him out or football is a distraction.

You know, that's another personal matter and personal issue. And we've seen this not bother the guy like Patrick Mahomes is a football terminator. Even some of these injuries, like what was it about a month ago? This man sprained his ankle and it's just like, oh my God, is his ankle or his knee one of them? And he's just like, is he cooked? Is he done? Is he, is he hurting? Oh, he's fine.

Oh, it wasn't as bad as it was. We've seen him seriously hurt his leg. He's hobbling around in the Super Bowl behind a crap offensive line. Yeah, he ain't winning that one.

But then we've seen a guy bounce back there trying to win their third consecutive Super Bowl. This guy's a freak. He is the Terminator. He will not stop. He can't be reasoned with.

He can't be bargained with. This guy just plays and he plays at a ridiculously high level. He's a winner. You know, Matt Perino said it. He just said it as well. And Sean McDermott said it to the head coach of the Buffalo Bills. He said, if we want to win, I, I got to have aggressive play calling.

I got to be aggressive. Listen, I mean, it's a mindset like we've talked about numerous times in here, right? And, you know, I think, you know, that's, there's some, there's some truth to that. In order to win, you can't be afraid to lose.

And I think those two go hand in hand. Let's see what happens. Buffalo Bills have a lead late in the game. Are they playing prevent? Are they running the ball?

Are they afraid? Of course you don't want Patrick Mahomes to have the ball. Is that going to bite you back in the ass? I just hope we get another classic. As a football fan, I just hope we get a good game.

I hope we get a classic. I don't want to blow out. I don't want to beat down. I want to be on the edge of my seat. Picky, I might get a beer.

Haven't had one in a while. I might go get myself a beer and watch this game. Wild man.

Wow. That's how you know it's going to be a good one. Yeah, I might get a beer.

Double IPA. Oh, oh. If I could find, if I could find a triple, I will. We know someone's out driving Sunday night. Oh, and I'll be on my couch.

I'll be on my couch. Yeah. I'm not, I'm not going to say that. Not going to say that, Hickey. There's a lot of fill in the blanks. I'm like, I'm not, anyway, I'll let you fill in your own blanks on that one. I will not be drinking and driving.

And you don't too. It's the weekend. Don't drink and drive eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven.

That's eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. Who do you think is going to win? You going with Buffalo? You going with Kansas City? We'll take your calls. We're going to talk about the NFC Championship game as well as the JR Sport Brief Show. The Infinity Sports Network Coast to Coast.
