Ask it to play the Infinity Sports Network. I've been hanging out with you for the past two hours and we got two more to go. In a few minutes, I'm going to share with you a new top six list. We're going to take a look at some of the top duos. You know what?

Not some of the top duos that the NBA has ever seen. We'll do that in a minute. Thank you so much to our guests who have joined us already. Andrew Baggerly came through from the athletic covers all things San Francisco Giants. We had a chance and an opportunity to talk about the legacy and the life of Willie Mays.

Thank you so much. Last hour, the James Herbert from CBS Sports. He came through and talked to us about all things NBA. We learned earlier today that Monty Williams has been given the boot as the head coach of the Detroit Pistons.

They fired this man with five years and sixty five million dollars left on his contract. We talked about the Stanley Cup finals taking place in Edmondson because the Florida Panthers could not close things out last night. On Friday night, they'll be playing in Edmondson.

What do you do for them? What a trip. Six hours in a plane to try to win the Stanley Cup. They could have did it last night at home.

It sucks for them. Talked about Bronny James right before the break. We talked about the NFL and its potential salary cap for quarterbacks.

I don't see it happening anytime soon. We talked about Pascal Siakam and his new deal. And then before we get out of here, you know, we'll talk some more NFL as the Pittsburgh Steelers have decided to be thrilled and ecstatic about the fact that they have two quarterbacks and Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

I don't know why anybody would be excited about that. Well, you know what? Hickey, what do they say about trash? One man's trash is another man's treasure, right?

You know, that's right. So the Steelers, are they like scavengers or are they the guys that steal stuff out your front lawn? No, I think more scavengers like they're the guy on the beach with the metal detector kind of, you know, trying to see if they get a little zap, beep, whatever, then dig up and oh, look what I found sort of thing.

I found money more than oh, there's a package on your front porch. I mean, just go take that. Oh, so they're not. Well, the Pittsburgh Pirates are down the street. We know they're not pirates, but they're not the Steelers. They're Steelers. OK, they're not pirates, but they're Steelers. A little bit of a difference, but I guess so. We got more to do. All right. We've had a good time. This is halftime of the show.

And today's top six list, like like almost all of them. It's going to be fun. I love fun here. OK, I love fun. Hickey, you love fun? Love fun.

Everybody loves fun. NBA Finals are fun. Stanley Cup Finals are fun, which the Stanley Cup Finals would get over with by now, but at least it's interesting. And the NBA Finals are a wrap. As of Monday, the Celtics are 18 time world champions. Jalen Brown is now an MVP of the NBA Finals.

What ridiculous company he's in. And for at least a couple of months, maybe a year, people were relaxed on the fact of you got to split up Tatum and Brown. I didn't think that it would work. I was wrong.

So I guess these guys are mad at me as well as they needed added motivation. Fine. Sure. Whatever.

The fact is. As Cedric Maxwell told us yesterday, here on the air, he believes with the core of the Boston Celtics, like they have more championships in front of them. And when you look at the depth of the team and I know Drew Holliday's getting a little older, Al Hofford is old. But when you look at the core of the team, if Brad Stevens can keep talent around Tatum and Brown.

Come on, man. They can go out there and win a couple of championships, maybe one more. May not be back to back, but they're going to be competitive.

And so I'm not putting them on this list of, you know, one of the top duos of all time. They ain't there yet. They won one championship, one.

They got to do more. And maybe in 10 years we can say that. But for right now, today, the answer is.

No. And if you're a Celtics fan, why do you care? They've been an amazing duo and go into the playoffs and get in the finals and conference championships. They just got over the hump. They reached the top of the mountain and they might do it again.

But for tonight's list, I'm not talking about potential. And we had a caller. I forgot his name.

The guy called up. He's like, hey, I know a duo. He's like, Alonzo Mourning. And I assume he's going to say Tim Hardaway.

No. I'm not just talking about some some NBA duo. I'm not talking about, you know, oh, my God, here's Stefan Marbury and Kevin Garnett.

I ain't talking about that. I mean, I'm not talking about any run of the mill duo. I'm talking about the best.

I'm not talking about the most exciting. I'm talking about the duos that had the most success. They got the job done. They hoisted the Larry O'Brien Trophy. They were unique.

But they won. And I'm not wasting any more time. You need to know about some champions. You want to know the best duos that we've ever had in the NBA? You don't got to wait too much longer because here's the fancy music. Six, five, four, three, two, one. It's time to get JR's latest top six list only on the JR Sport Brief.

It is the JR Sport Brief show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. Tatum and Brown, they finally won a championship. Good for them. We got to wait a few years to see what their legacies are in full. But I think we have an idea about these teams and these duos, I should say, and their legacies right now, because tonight's top six list is about the top six NBA duos of all time. I'm looking at rings.

I'm looking at titles. I'm looking at championships. So, yeah, there's a there's a team that wore purple.

They played in the mountains. They ain't on this list. Talking champs. Speaking of champs is the top six.

Where do we start? Number six. This duo is still playing. Now, I don't know how much longer they're going to play, because one of the guys just unfollowed the team this week. One of the guys just has been bouncing back from injuries to his knee, to his Achilles, to his confidence. Oh, my God.

He has an injured brain. Oh, yeah. I'm talking about Klay Thompson and Steph Curry. Oh, you heard me correctly. I'm talking about Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Why? Because there's a duo, a unique duo. You want to tell me that there's been a better shooting backcourt in NBA history? I know what Draymond Green does.

Roughs people up, commits fouls, gets suspended, acts like a nut, rebounds, defends. If you don't have Klay Thompson there, I don't think Steph Curry can run around and does what he do. If you don't have Klay Thompson there also shooting at his best 40 percent from deep, not having to touch the ball.

I don't think they have success. And throw me a bone on Durant. Yeah, he might have been the best player when he was there. But the Lynch pins that have played together for 11 years have gone through ups and downs and injuries and have walked away with four championships.

It would be more if an idiot didn't get suspended. Curry and Klay Thompson. They have been killing it together since 2012. It might be coming to an end. But damn it, you find me a more deadly shooting combination that walked away with rings.

You can't. And it's kind of crazy. This man didn't see their full success because he got the boot. But Mark Jackson was there at the beginning. And Mark Jackson told everybody, including me, I laughed. I'm like, what is he talking about?

They got to play first. Mark Jackson on Warriors TV. He's like, yeah, best, best backcourt ever. In April, you said you thought these year two guys were potentially the best shooting backcourt of all time.

Is that still how you feel? I didn't say that. They are the greatest shooting backcourt that's ever played this game.

I don't think it's a debate. They are two incredible shooters. Mark Jackson told them he sounded so crazy when he said it.

He sounded crazy when he said it. It's true. You want to talk about one of the best duos in the NBA of all time? Championship duo. Yeah, it's Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Klay Thompson. Sorry, though, you still ain't top 75 anyway. That's top six. That's six. What's next?

Number five. This is the one that's crazy. They could have won more championships together. They couldn't stand each other. One was maniacal.

The other was silly. Even though he was dominant. I'm talking about Kobe and Shaq. Come on, man. You got the young upstart teenager.

You already got the slightly older dominant force. They're both trying to win championships. Kobe's trying to come into his own. Shaq is like, I'm the man.

I'm here. And then they had Phil Jackson and they three peated, right? Wiped out the Nets, wiped out the Pacers, wiped out the Sixers. Nobody could stand a chance. And then they lost to the Pistons. They hated each other.

Come on. We've heard the stories of Shaq was in shade. If Shaq took it serious and they didn't have to make a choice between one or the other.

It would have kept on rolling. Three championships could have been four, could have been five. You know, Shaq picked up another one in Miami with Dwayne Wade. He let Dwayne Wade be the boss. We know what Kobe did when Paul Gasol showed up. We got two more. And so as a result, Kobe has one more championship than Shaq.

And when Kobe was alive, they sat down and they talked about Kobe getting his fifth ring. Listen to this. Do you think I was pissed when you got number five? Of course you were. No doubt. I told my house.

No doubt. I bet you did. I went crazy because when I got four, you got four. I was like, hey, I got four.

He got four straight. When you got that fifth one. Hold on. You said I just want to get one more. Absolutely. Absolutely. I said, you know what?

Nothing you can do about it either. Yeah, that that would have been cool to see. It's it's crazy that Lakers team was stacked, but they just they had no use for each other at that point. And the Pistons ran him out the building.

I'm like, well, what did I watch? You watch the basketball team that liked each other, beat up a team that didn't. Top duos of all time in the NBA. I got Curry and Klay at six.

I got Kobe and Shaq at five. What do we got next? Number four. Oh, well, we know the Celtics just won the championship, right? We have one duo there in Tatum and Brown.

They got some work to do to catch up to this one. At number four on my list. Top six NBA duos of all time. We got to go to Larry Bird and Kevin McHale. OK, 12 seasons together in total. I mean, Larry Bird had the injuries. He missed a full year.

They still walked away with three rings. Eighty one. Eighty four. Eighty six. I mean, they spent time battling, you know, some team out west.

You might have heard of them. And if Larry Bird didn't get hurt. Could we not have seen more? Larry Bird facilitating, taking care of the ball, shooting. Kevin McHale holding it down, down low. This is a team right here, a combination that was also full of stars. I mean, yesterday we had Cedric Cornbread Maxwell on the show.

He was a final as finals MVP. But Bird and McHale, they were perfect compliments. Buddies. Matter of fact, take a listen to this.

Larry Bird and McHale. It was a love affair. If you can get the ball and get in the right spots to make plays, it makes a lot easier.

No question. I think there was a joy that you played with that. That's why you were fun to be around. You love to compete, love to play basketball. I like to win, too. I like the outcome when you win. There's nothing better going on the road. I don't care who you're playing to get that win on the road.

You know, we always felt we're going to win at home. But going on the road, beating anyone and let's get on that bus and and talking about the game. And I always thought that was the greatest. I've been very fortunate to be able to go the full circle. And it's been nothing but a learning experience.

I've been very grateful to the NBA for everything that they've done for me. Well, that's sweet. Picky, one day we're going to hear Russell Wilson and Fields have that same conversation. How about Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman?

They can have that. Well, let's put them on the phone today and see what that conversation. Hey, man, how you doing? I'm good. All right. Later. Bye.

Oh, man. It's nice to hear people in sports actually like each other, like Tatum and Brown. Now they love each other. The MVP award is for everybody.

And it's so much for everybody. Brown can't say I wanted. It's mine.

He can't say that. Oh, how sweet. Anyway, I got Bird and Kevin McHale and number four on my list. Top six NBA duels of all time there at number four. What we got next?

Number three. Oh, here's their rival. Here's the other team on the other end of the spectrum. It's Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Here we have one of the greatest point guards of all time. The man was one of the greatest when he fell out of college.

I mean, damn it, both of them. You've got the longevity of Kareem. You have the excellence of Magic Johnson. The guy helped to win an NBA championship as a rookie. Kareem started in seventy five. Magic showed up four years later. Magic Johnson winning finals MVP when Kareem goes down as a rookie. Show me the rookie winning finals MVP. Show me where is he? Oh, it's it's magic. Five championships.

Five of them. Kareem Abdul Jabbar is on ESPN. He's over here telling jokes. He's like, man, I don't care if he played center while I was hurt. He needs to give me the MVP.

Listen to Kareem be a funny guy. I said, you know, I I think I deserve it. Of course. But, you know, I knew that if I if we went to a back and forth, even though, you know, I didn't I wasn't worried about that. We won the world championship. I was happy. But, you know, if the public got a hold of that, they would take it the wrong way. And that wasn't the case.

I was so happy to see him step off the plane with two trophies. That's fine with me. With some polish on it, you know? Yeah. Oh, that's. See, I love it when people love each other. I mean, these duos, eventually they all loved each other, right? Curry and Clay, they're friends. Clay might be done with the Warriors, but they're friends. Kobe and Shaq, at least they reconciled later.

Love it. Bird and McHale, they love each other. Magic and Kareem, they love each other.

What's the next number on our list? Number two, top six NBA duos of all time. I don't know if these guys love each other. Oh, I think we got multiple reasons why these guys don't like each other.

First of all, let's go back to 2009 because there was a well, you know what? The duo is Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, if you didn't guess already. In 2009, Michael Jordan was so complimentary of Scottie Pippen at his Basketball Hall of Fame induction. Listen to what Michael had to say about Scottie. I told all my friends I was going to come up here and say thank you and walk off. I can't.

There's no way I got so many people I can thank. In all the videos you never just saw me. So Scottie Pippen. Every championship I won. Oh, yeah, Scottie. Yeah.

Well, out came the last dance almost what, 10 years, 15 years later. Michael Jordan's. Hickey, help me if I'm saying this wrong. Michael Jordan's son was dating or was dating, is dating. And Scottie Pippen's ex-wife. And let's just say Scottie Pippen more recently doesn't feel the same way about Michael Jordan.

That's what he told Stacey King. Listen, I've seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. You guys seen him play. He's a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. He was all one on one. He's shooting bad shots.

And all of a sudden we become a team and we start winning. Everybody forgot who he was. He was a player that really winning wasn't at the top of his category. It was scoring. He was going at the scoring titles. I don't know if jealousy is the drug or is it crack. I don't know.

I don't know. I do know they won six championships. I do know they maybe kind of maybe possibly would have won more if Michael didn't retire and go play baseball. They're a great duo.

Come on, Michael and Scottie. Amazing. Ask John Stockton and Carmelone.

How amazing. Go ask Hornacek and Russell and Ostertak. Go ask all of them.

And Michael O'Keefe. Go ask them. Go ask them. The J.R. sport brie show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. Hickey, is Michael Jordan's son and Scottie's ex-wife, are they a great duo? Do they count? No, they had a ring, which makes them eligible for this. Jordan and Pippen. They had seven rings. Seven rings. Count it.

If you want to, you know, include a little extended family. The J.R. sport brie show here on the Infinity Sports Network. We come back. Let's tell you about the best NBA duo of all time.

Yeah, it ain't it ain't Jordan and Pippen here on the other side. Don't move the J.R. sport brie show. Have you ever covered a carpet stain with a rug? Ignored a leaky faucet? Pretended your half painted living room is supposed to look that way?

That's eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. Tatum and Brown just won a championship. Great duo, right? Championship duo. I'm giving you a top six list. Some of the best NBA duos, the best NBA duos of all time.

Not who you liked, not who was most exciting, not your hometown team. Talking about success. I'm talking about championships. I'm talking about rings. Trophies.

Like the Drake song. Anyway, in a few seconds, I'm about to share with you number one. Let me give you a recap.

If you missed the last break. And number six. I gave you Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Not because Klay Thompson is one of the best, best, best, best players ever. He's one of the best shooters ever. And along with Steph Curry, they were the foundation. Of a championship squad. There's a reason why Kevin Durant wanted to join them. And that Draymond Green didn't have to shoot the ball, thank God.

They had a splash brothers. They might be done playing together. Either that or Klay Thompson is negotiating.

I think he's negotiating. But anyway, I got them at number six. And number five, I gave you Kobe and Shaq. And number four, I gave you Larry Bird and Kevin McHale. And number three, I gave you Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Top six NBA duos of all time.

And number two, I gave you Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. They hate each other today. Well, maybe not. I don't know. Let's ask their significant others and family members. I don't know. So if I got Jordan and Pippen at number two on the list and we know about their accomplishments. Six championships and whooping everybody and offense and defense and facilitating and score at all. They did it all right.

Like what what could possibly be? A better duo. Well, I give you this. Number one. Bill Russell. And Bob.

Cozy. I mean, come on. They also, by the way, they have six titles together to.

All right. By the way, the MVP award, as you've heard, is named after Bill Russell. Bill Russell and Bob Cozy. They played seven seasons together, seven. OK, Jordan and Pippen, they were together for 10. They played seven seasons together.

Every season together. They went to the NBA finals. They lost once. They walked away with six rings, everything from nineteen fifty seven fifty eight and went to the Hawks before they got here to Atlanta. They won again from fifty nine.

To sixty three. And we know about Bill Russell. Going out there playing the defense.

Bob Cozy running out there, initiating the offense. Who cares what J.J. Redick has to say about firemen and plumbers and all of this stuff. God bless Jerry West. Jerry West told this man J.J. Redick, what have you done in life?

Shut up. And Bill Russell, God rest his soul. Not here with us to have witnessed championship number 18 for the Boston Celtics. Bob Cozy's ninety five. Heading into the NBA finals, he's like, man, I'm ninety five years old.

I need to see them win this before I croak. There's a hell of a duo, Bill Russell and Bob Cozy. Let's listen to the great Bill Russell. Tell everybody how awesome it was to play with Bob Cozy.

I have always considered Cozy a near perfect teammate because. Well, I came there, you know, I had this huge publicity build up reputation because of what had happened with San Francisco. Right. And he was the star of the team. Yeah.

And he could have. So, hey, listen, I'm the star. OK. And.

But what he said was, let's do it together. Yeah. You know, in fact, within a month after I was less than a month after I got there, I joined the team in midseason. Yeah. Within a month after I got there, he was collaborating with me.

Listen. Bob Cozy started there in 1950. Bill Russell got there in 1956. In seven seasons together, they won six championships.

Let me give you a recap here. Top six NBA duos of all time. I'm talking talent, I'm talking rings, I'm talking championships. And number six. I gave you Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. And number five, I gave you Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. And number four. Larry Bird and Kevin McHale. And number three, Magic Johnson. And Kareem Abdul Jabbar. And number two. Gave you Jordan and Pippen. And number one. You want to talk about groundwork for four champions for a league that was just born. Bill Russell. And Bob Cozy. Who cares what J.J. Reddick says?

The phone lines are open. That's eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. It's eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. I don't care about your your alley-oop favorites. I don't care about your mailman.

I don't care about your fancy duos. I'm talking championships. I'm talking rings. I'm talking success. I'm talking victories. I'm talking talent. Championships. Titles.

Mark is calling from North Carolina. You're on the JR Sport re-show. Go ahead, Mark. Hey, J.R., I love your show, man. I tell you, brother, you have grown on me like Stephen A. and Jim Rome. Didn't agree at the beginning, but really loved your game.

And and love that I listen to you every night. My my my only take on this is that what about Tony Parker and Tim Duncan with San Antonio? I mean, they're on the top six.

I get some of the duos and stuff, but where do you what do they fall? That's that's a tough one. You know what? I Tim Duncan is one of my favorite players of all time. OK, because I appreciate a guy who shows up to work and bust people's asses. And he doesn't have to say a whole lot, especially in the world where all people want to do is talk crap. He showed up and he let his game do the talking. Tony Parker is is great. And Tim Duncan has five titles. And Tony Parker wasn't there for that first one in ninety nine in Madison Square Garden. Tony Parker is good.

He's one of the best European players that have come over. But I got to be honest, I think a lot of people could have plugged that hole that Tony Parker did. I'm just being real. I'm just saying. No, you don't you don't agree.

What do you think? Oh, I do agree. I think it was all Duncan. I think, you know, from from from Wake Forest is going to the pros. I mean, he won five. But you really think you think somebody else could have could have plugged that gap? Yeah, listen, I think, look, they had excellent teams. Manu Ginobili was great. What Greg Popovich did was awesome.

He demanded team play and he was able to go ahead and draft players who just showed up and play. I don't think it's a coincidence or a happenstance that the guys who were surrounding Tim Duncan when they won championships, if we look at the best Spurs players over the past twenty five years, these guys are selfless. Like what noise do you hear out of San Antonio outside of a Kawhi who also doesn't say a peep also won a championship there? Like outside of Kawhi saying, hey, I don't trust the Spurs with my injuries.

Nothing, nothing. Victor, when Benyama, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, Tony. Like these guys, they just show up and play.

God bless them. So, yeah. Tony Parker can count rings. Manu Ginobili can count rings.

I think they need to say thank you to Tim Duncan. I hear that, man. I appreciate it, man. Appreciate the getting on on air, man. Have a good one.

I will talk to you soon. Thank you so much, Mark. From North Carolina. Eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. It's eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. Let me just put it in another way. That is no other way to put it. Kiss Tim. Kiss Tim Duncan's behind.

Just just really do that. Steve is calling from Wisconsin. You're on the J.R. sport. Go ahead, Steve. Hey, man, how are you doing? Amazing. What's up? Good.

Thank you for taking my call. So I was listening to your list. And so I kind of took a thought about it and thought about who's the glue guy, the glue guy on those teams. So if we look at Clay and Steph, I would say it was Trayvon. If you look at Kobe and Shaq was Rick Fox. We look at Bird McHale. It was Parrish. If we look at Magic and Kareem, it was James Worthy.

I struggle with who the glue guy was for the Bulls. So are you serious? Are you serious? Come on.

That's obvious. Who was it? Was it?

Who was it? Oh, my God. Come on, Steve.

Red hair, purple hair, green hair. Oh, Rodman, Rodman, Rodman, Rodman. OK, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait a minute. All right.

Go ahead. How? Help me out. Help me out.

How could you get in front of me? No, no, no, no, no. You don't you need stats to remember Dennis Rodman. So he was the glue guy for that team.

OK, cool. Dennis Rodman. No, no, no, no, no, no.

How could you forget the worm like this is one of the most the glue guy. What he did, he did nothing but play defense, irritate people and rebound the basketball. And when he got the ball, he knew how to pass it. Right. No, fair enough. Fair enough. I mean, that that's fair.

But I did. I do not know who was honestly listening to you talk about Bill Russell. Yeah, I think Bill Russell may have been the best guy and the glue guy at the same time.

If that makes sense. Well, those teams with the Celtics were stacked. I mean, if you go to Casey Jones and Sam Jones and God bless Tommy Hindson, those those teams were stacked. But if you looked at the guy who was orchestrating the offense at point guard, that was Bob Cousy. And if you want to go ahead and think about who was, quote unquote, I don't dare want to put Bill Russell in the space of Rodman, but who was playing defense and rebounding that that was Bill Russell.

He was he was getting like 20 pounds a night. Yeah, but I'm a little less eccentric, a little less eccentric. Yep. Thanks.

Take my call, man. I appreciate your list. And again, I was just thinking about who's like that third guy.

Not necessarily the best like third best player, but who's the guy who's just doing, you know, just taking up the scrap. Well, thanks, Steve. Next time, don't forget the guy who wore a wedding dress, OK? I will. I'm sorry. I won't. I won't. I won't think about that in your dreams tonight. I will not do that for sure. Thank you, Steve.

OK, no problem. Hickey, how do you forget the man in a wedding dress? Easy, right?

Maybe easy. No, I mean, well, you would think, no, I just like the fact you had to say off out on the stats in front of me to remember Dennis Rodman. You know what?

He's remembered. I remember Dennis Rodman rolling down Fifth Avenue near Rockefeller Center in a Cinderella style. What do you call that stupid thing she rolled around in a carriage? Oh, like the pumpkin.

Yeah. This guy got in a carriage down Fifth Avenue in New York City to sign his book. And he got out in a wedding dress and a veil. This man is six, six, six, seven, six, eight. This dude is big as hell. And this is the late 90s.

OK, if this happened today, I'd be like, oh, just another day in the neighborhood. This this man, Dennis Rodman, I know this sounds crazy. Dennis Rodman, when it comes to just everything. He was ahead of his time. What Dennis Rodman did and what's going on now, I'm talking about culturally. Like he was 25 years ahead. He was.

Eight, five, five, two, one, two, forty, two, twenty seven. We're talking about the best duos that we've ever seen in NBA history. Dale is here from Birmingham. You're in the J.R. sport. We show. Go ahead, Dale. I'm not going to say.

Well, as they are in three miles, got my favorite team, but they was all right. Yeah, I think they'd make the top 10, but I ain't putting them here on my top six. Exactly. Exactly. And some people would even say maybe they got a little lucky with some of the injuries, but that's just everybody. Right. But what I wanted to want to say.

Yes. What you were saying about players. Players and they stayed with teams in the jail. But now they just jumped the team, the team, the team like LeBron and the way how we are traveling.

Yeah, well, they I mean, what free agency didn't exist. So, I mean, we can. Well, not not not in the same way. I mean, it did. Tom, Tom Chambers, we'd have to go back to the to the late 80s, early 90s. Yeah, well, when you when you make the type of money that the guys do now, this is pretty much what a lot of dudes. We can go into it. It's a baseball from the Kurt floods and we can start moving into the 70s, the 80s and lawsuits and 90s to look at the advent of free agency.

But that has certainly changed what sports looks like today. That's true. Well, thank you, Dale. Appreciate you.

All right, Jay. You the man. Oh, you the man.

You the man. Shout out to everybody in Birmingham as they get ready to honor Willie Mays tomorrow. That'd be cool out there.

Yeah, they got the San Francisco Giants in the cards. Larry's calling from Knoxville. You're on the JR support reef show. Yeah.

First time color, JR. First thing I got to say is go baseball. Thank you. But talking about your top six, I was debating whether it was going to put Jordan and Pippen up there because my pick would have been Russell and Coos.

So I was very excited to hear you select them as number one and number two. Well, thank you, Larry. Oh, you're a genius. Modern day genius you are. Well, I'm a self expansive.

I remember the old days. Well, listen, man, you got something to celebrate this week as well. You're going to watch the parade. Sure, of course. All right.

Well, have fun on Friday, OK? But the only other duo I would add to the list would be stocked in them alone. Now they don't have the champion because of Michael Stockton and Malone was hard to beat. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But they were easy to beat when it came to Michael. Thank you, Larry. Appreciate you. All right. Thanks, man.

Have a great one. Thank you. Does anybody like Carmelone? Nobody likes Carmelone.

Nobody. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Well, I'm not going to get personal here.

I just know people in this family don't like him either. I'm just saying. 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. It's 8 5 5 2 1 2 42 27. I just gave you a top six list. Top six NBA duos of all time. I'm sorry to Tony Parker and Tim Duncan. I'm not sorry to Carmelone and John. John Stockton has really said some wild things, too. What a duo that was a nutty one. I'll get some more your calls on the other side.
