That's 855-212-4CBS. You can find me everywhere at JR Sport Brief, where I pretty much already told you everything that we're going to discuss tonight. I posted it on social media.

And you should know these things. How about this? Nationally televised game.

Fox. The New York Yankees lead Houston 4-3. Yankees are going to try to hold on to win a baseball game. How about that? What a rarity, huh?

No, not really. Win more than half their games. Meanwhile, in Cleveland, Ohio, the NFL, well not in Cleveland, in Canton, Ohio, the NFL is back. It's the Hall of Fame game. The New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns. They're getting warmed up for the Hall of Fame inductions this upcoming Saturday. And no, what better way, there is no better way, to get you set up by having pre-season football highlighting a bunch of dudes who you will probably never see again. If you should care, the New York Jets lead the Cleveland Browns 16-7.

I don't know. Six or seven minutes have now gone by in the third quarter. And so now you've got a bunch of dudes competing for jobs. And Aaron Rodgers has been doing a 10-minute interview with the folks from NBC. So I guess the bright side is, the NFL is coming back. The other teams get into action.

They start their pre-season next Thursday and Friday through the weekend. Welcome back. The NFL is here.

It's nice. Michael Jordan officially out today as owner of the Charlotte Hornets. Tom Brady, he decides to get involved in European soccer. Yeah, Tom Brady decided to buy into a team. I'll tell you what team it is.

You probably have never heard of it. Iowa and Iowa State. I mean, there's always an update. It seems like they've been cleared a little bit. LSU is pretty much letting everyone know that don't even bother to have a team.

Everyone know that don't even bother to have a gambling app on your phone. We have more colleges looking to bounce on their conferences. What else is new? We talked about that last night.

The NFL considering rule changes to make the game safer. We'll talk about that. Mac Jones just wants to have fun.

Tua Tongaveloa is now built like a Terminator, a small Terminator. And then Messi. We talked about this last night. Messi continues to make moves and, you know, the Women's World Cup is still underway. We're going to talk to someone from the other side of the planet.

World Cup is taking place in Australia and New Zealand. We're going to talk to a player who represented New Zealand and is now a broadcaster, Rosie White. As a matter of fact, we'll do that probably next break. How about that? We'll go to the other side of the planet and check in with Rosie. So we got a lot to do tonight. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. Hey, Shep, how you doing, man? You straight? I'm doing well.

I appreciate you asking, J.R. How are you? And Aaron Rodgers is still talking. Yeah. You care about the Hall of Fame game?

I do. It's just tradition. So it signals, you know, a changing in the sports season to me. Well, what, that the NFL is here? Yeah. It's nice.

It's nice. Who are these guys, though? Like, can you watch the game? And I'm going to enjoy hard knocks more than I'm enjoying this preseason. Like, I don't even know who this guy is right now for the Cleveland Browns running the ball. I mean, it's cool when you have guys out there, they're fighting for their lives, and you'll see a couple of rookies that you hope can make an impact during the course of the regular season. But the New York Jets and the Browns today, they've thrown out dudes that I hope I don't see this year. Zach Wilson threw five passes.

I mean, what a demotion for him. You got the Browns. They got Kellen Mond out there, speaking of the Browns. Just scored a touchdown a few seconds ago, making the game 16 to 13.

It'll be 16 to 14. And I had this game on for a little bit. I still have it on here in the studio before the show. And I had the sound on. And the only thing I heard them talking about was how much fun Aaron Rodgers is having in New York. And they talked about all the, the sexual assault allegations that were levied upon Deshaun Watson.

They even reminded us that there are a couple of them that, that still happen to be open. And, and there you have it. That is pretty much the, dare I say the, the roundup from tonight's hall of fame game. Ain't nothing else to really pay attention to. And you would certainly hope that no one gets hurt.

And then I guess this is another element as well. They interview the hall of famers. The dudes who will be inducted. Demarcus Ware being promoted right now. De'Rell Reavis speaking. Joe Thomas or whatever is left of him now that he has lost a million pounds. They spoke to Joe Thomas. And Aaron Rodgers is doing interviews and calling plays.

So congratulations. The NFL is back. The hall of fame game is here. Let me know when we get to the start.

Let me know when we get to the start of the regular season. I'll be tuning into Hard Knocks. I'll be waiting to see who gets hurt. I hope no one, but somebody is going to get hurt.

And life goes on. So much love to everybody listening and tuning in out in Ohio as the hall of fame game has descended once again down to Canton. Something else that took place earlier today and football related has to be around Jim Brown. Jim Brown who plied his trade starting in Syracuse and then played for the Browns from 1957 and 1965. We know that he passed away earlier this year back in May.

Seems like much longer than that. He was 87 years old. And so today with all of the hall of famers, Current, the dudes going in, and the NFL, everybody in town, they decided to honor Jim Brown. They had a celebration of his life. And you had everyone from Bob Arum. Yes, Bob Arum from boxing and top ranked promotions to Ray Lewis speak and talk about how Jim Brown had an effect on their lives and what he meant to them. And it was a cool and a great idea to bring everybody together.

This event was held in Canton McKinley High School in their auditorium next to the hall of fame stadium. And of course, listen, Ray Lewis has had his own issues over the past several months. Son, we learned he recently died, one of his sons to a drug overdose. But Ray Lewis took the time today to show love to Jim Brown. Even talked about or gave everyone a Jim Brown story right before he passed away. He was visiting him at his house and he pretty much said Jim Brown was was ready to run him over even in his walker.

Listen to this. I never forget the last conversations, Monique. We had the house. And I come in there and he's on his walk and he come around the corner. And soon as I look up, I'm like, he's going to say something smart to me every time. So I'm kind of bracing myself just in case you want to come off the walk and give me a little punch.

So I'm kind of bracing myself. And I said, I said, Papa, okay, I said, here we go. You starting this mess again. Here we go. He walked up, he said.

If I put if I put this walker down. I still don't think you can stop me from getting the y'all. I don't want to say I think that's true. But Jim Brown was a tough you know what. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing him play in the 50s or the early 60s. But I had a chance to meet Jim Brown, one of the most intimidating human beings you will ever see or meet in your life.

His eyes burn right through you. He is not about games. And so forget the game. Forget the Hall of Fame game. This is like a celebration of the NFL as DeMarcus Ware is on NBC right now during the game, you know, waxing poetic about his career with both the Broncos and mostly the Cowboys.

And this is what it's about. And so forget the Zach Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, a future Hall of Famer. Forget Deshaun Watson, you know, enjoy the next few days. I don't know if you care about the Hall of Fame game. I'm sure that you will hear or you'll see a lot of the commentaries and the speeches and the tears that are going to be flowing this upcoming Saturday as the inductees roll in. And I'm sure you will hear a lot of the commentsaries and the tears that are going to be flowing this upcoming Saturday as the inductees roll in. Darrell Rivas, Rhonda Barber, Don Coryell, finally getting love.

Unfortunately, no longer here. Chuck Howley, Joe Kletko, Ken Riley, Joe Thomas, Brown. He's going to complain about him going into the Hall of Fame, give him a break in DeMarcus Ware. And so all of these gentlemen are going into the Hall of Fame this coming Saturday in the game tonight.

It's just liftoff, as Shep said. And a little bit of it, Shep, I find to be bittersweet. It's a reminder that we are we are looking at August 3rd. A couple of hours away, we'll be in August 4th. August will go away. Labor Day will be here. Everybody will be back in school. Summertime will be a wrap. NFL is going to be here. As much as I love summer, as much as I love the NFL.

Hey, Shep, why can't I have both at the same time? Well, you're pretty big in San Diego if you want to move there. Summertime all that? That's not the same.

It's similar. I mean, you're going to get sunny and 70 pretty much every day there. This is to my dismay and probably more to the dismay of everyone out in San Diego, but they may have summer, but they don't got no damn football out there.

Well, by association, I mean, I understand they're not the San Diego Chargers anymore, but I still believe, just like the Raiders, Oakland still, they still root for the Raiders, even though obviously they're not in Oakland anymore. So you want me to move to San Diego? Well, no, I'd have to drive up to Los Angeles to watch a football game. No, I don't want you to move to San Diego.

I want you to feel like you get the best of both worlds. And if you want the best of both worlds, you got to live somewhere like San Diego because you're never going to get the cold and the brutal frigid weather in the winter. It's warm. It's temperate here in Georgia. In wintertime, it only really gets cold at night. Yeah, I don't think that happens in San Diego, though. Like at night, it's going to get 40 in Atlanta, I would guess, right?

Sometimes even colder, I would assume. 30, yeah. Oh, who needs that?

You might as well live in the Northeast. Ah, no, not really. Not really. I know what that feels like.

No, thanks. Yeah, I guess you got to take the good and you got to take the bad. The NFL is staring us in the face. YouTube TV will be broadcasting games on Sunday Ticket. Aaron Rodgers will be throwing passes for the New York Jets. Sean Payton will be yelling at Russell Wilson. Mac Jones and Bill Belichick will be holding on to their jobs.

You heard that correctly. Geno Smith will be counting money. Jimmy Garoppolo will be a Raider until he gets hurt.

Derek Carr. Oh, well, New Orleans is going to love him, I think. I know he's going to love New Orleans.

Tua Tonga Veloa will try to stay healthy. The Bucks will try to realize life without Tom Brady, even though it was a short amount of time. Lamar Jackson. To Odell Beckham Jr. How long is that going to last?

The Chargers. When does Brandon Staley help that team choke? When does Joe Burrow get paid? When does Von Miller come back?

How long before Kirk Cousins looks average? NFL is here. Preseason is here. And you might as well count down your days. Until summer comes.

And summer is about to be gone. NFL is coming folks. Enjoy the Hall of Fame game.

Probably not. More importantly, make sure you check out the Hall of Fame game or excuse me, the Hall of Fame inductions taking place on Saturday. It's the JR Sport Reshow here with you on CBS Sports Radio 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. We know the NFL is exclusive to the United States of America. They may play games in London, Germany, Mexico City.

They may be trying to expand the game internationally. But the NFL, American football, is ours. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the Women's World Cup is going around. The sport that the rest of the world plays and plays religiously. The United States of America, their women are still being represented.

Although not in the most positive of lights. And so, on the other side of the break, we're going to chat with someone on the other side of the world. Rosie White, who has represented New Zealand three separate times in the Women's World Cup. She's going to join us.

I'll ask her about the United States of America, what's going on with their team, why they can't score, and just the vibe out in Australia and New Zealand. It's the JR Sport Reshow here on CBS Sports Radio. We're about to get international.

Don't move. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio.

It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. We know that the NFL is, they're getting things all wound up for the regular season. We've got to wait about a month. But preseason is underway starting tonight. Something else that's going on has been underway on the other side of the globe, taking place in Australia and New Zealand. Happens to be the Women's World Cup.

The United States of America being heavily criticized in these opening, or at least the group stages, they now move into the knockout rounds. And to get some insight as to the world's football and what's going on on the other side of the world, it's time to talk with someone who is a multiple-time Olympian, a three-time Women's World Cup player, played in the NWSL, now a commentator, holding it down in New Zealand for Sky Sports. It's time for a conversation with Rosie White. Rosie, how are you?

Hi, I'm great. Thank you so much for having me on. Certainly.

Thank you for taking the time to hop on, and I appreciate it. What time is it? About 2, 3 p.m. in the afternoon?

Yeah, 2, 3 p.m. I love it. Well, thank you so much for taking the time. I want to ask you about the Women's National Team, of course. But before we do that, what's the current vibe in both Australia and New Zealand right now, based around the Women's World Cup? It's been so exciting to be here.

I think New Zealand, well, I've spent all of my time so far in New Zealand, where I think the country kind of underestimated how huge this event was going to be. The stadiums have been packed out. There's been a lot of buzz and excitement around the World Cup, and I think just the quality of all of the games and the skills of the players has been so entertaining for people that aren't soccer fans. It's been really, really exciting. There's, yeah, there's a lot of buzz going on.

Rosie White, footballer, two-time Olympian, three-time Women's World Cup player, is joining us from New Zealand. On this side of the globe, everyone is concerned about the United States of America and their performance. They beat up on Vietnam, but it wasn't a 7-0 beating like somebody else gave them. They drew with the Netherlands. They drew with Portugal, didn't score a goal, and now they're going to face Sweden, and things could come to an end early on Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening for you.

What is your perspective on what's going on with the United States? Are they too young? Are they in too much of a transition period?

What do you think? Yeah, it's been really interesting to just to witness it and to hear a lot of the criticism that they've been getting. I think, you know, it's potentially a lot of the little things going on. I think they haven't clicked yet in any of their pool games. I think, you know, the expectation on their team is that they're going to be a little bit more competitive. I think, you know, the expectation on them to go out and, you know, and win very convincingly against countries like Portugal.

And I think, yeah, I think it's surprising. But also, at the same time, you can never count the US out of a tournament like this. The competitiveness of that team and the quality of the players and the team, you know, even if they, even when they're playing well, they still qualify and get out of the group stage. And I think, I think there's so much more to see from them. So yeah, I'm hoping they start to start to click and gel a little bit going into this next game against Sweden because they're going to need to.

Oh yeah, no, they're going to, they're going to need to put some goals up if they want to beat Sweden. Rosie White, football turned commentator, is joining us here. The JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio.

It's, I don't want to call it uncommon, but we've moved into such an era where anyone can go on Twitter. We have former athletes such as yourself who are on television. Everyone has more of a microphone. And we hear Carly Lloyd talk about the team.

We hear Lindsay Horan and her response. How difficult is it to go out and play these games when there are so many more distractions than have ever been? Yeah, it's, I mean, it's so easy for everybody to have an opinion and a perspective. And I think one thing I saw Lindsay Horan saying was that like, nobody actually knows what's going on inside the environment and what the mentality of the team is. And I totally understand and respect that from the players.

And, and, you know, they have to, part of their job and responsibility is kind of focusing and blocking the external stuff out and controlling what they can in their own environments. I think, you know, part of what's also exciting to see in women's soccer is the competitiveness of the other nations coming through. You know, four years ago or eight years ago, the US was absolutely dominating, you know, 99% of the games that they were having. And I think, you know, part of it is just that the quality and the professionalism of the entire sport has gone up a couple of notches.

So the game like across the board, you know, Canada's going home, Germany's going home, South Korea's going home, Brazil's going home. You know, there's these big nations that have traditionally been so dominant. Other nations are also catching up and putting a lot of quality out onto the field. Yeah, no, we see that in all sports. People are catching up in so many sports.

We see it in basketball here, stateside, the rest of the world catching up here with us. And from your perspective, being, and being born in New Zealand and playing college in California, UCLA, and in your time in the NWSL and finishing up with Seattle, you have a great perspective on this sport and this game from all over the world. But having said that, you've dealt with some of your own challenges as well. Talk to us about your work with Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Talk to us about that. Yeah, it's been a big part of my career and one of the big reasons I stopped playing and I've been working with Bristol-Myers Squibb now. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when I was in college at UCLA. I was 18 and diagnosed with this chronic disease that I had no idea what it was. And for me, part of this journey and the last 10 years of experiencing it, now I am in a much better place where I'm able to talk about it, talk about my experience and try to help other patients and family members to create a space and get resources they need. So, yeah, that's what I've been doing with Bristol-Myers Squibb is working on the Supporting You with UC campaign to help family members and patients learn how to have the difficult conversations with their loved ones and with their doctors to try and find treatment options that work best for them. Well, awesome, Rosie.

I think it's amazing how you're taking your own experiences and using it to help out other folks. As we start to wrap up here, out in New Zealand, if it's not the U.S. Women's National Team, what else do you foresee taking place in this tournament? Who do you think has the edge to come out on top and win it all? I think the English team is looking really dangerous. They've grown already throughout the tournament and I would also say Japan has been one of the more convincing and dangerous teams that I've seen so far.

So those would be probably my two picks. And of course, the USA, you can't, again, you can never count them out. They're always going to be so competitive. So it'll be super interesting to see how things unfold in this knockout round.

Absolutely, Rosie. I know a little bit different to be talking about the sport as opposed to being on the pitch representing New Zealand. How are you digging your work with Sky?

How is it different? I know it's not action-packed, but how do you feel about it? Yeah, I mean, it still gets you excited. It still feels like I'm involved, which is super awesome. Although it's hard to talk about your former teammates and friends in a critical way, it's been really awesome to just be involved in such an epic event. And in New Zealand, in my home country, friends and family members that have never been interested in soccer before are watching. And it's been super fun to be involved. So yeah, I'm really enjoying it.

It's a new challenge for me, but loving it. Well, Rosie, you being on both sides of the globe, whether you're in New Zealand or whether you're back here stateside, what do you foresee over the next several years in the United States of America when it comes down to the game of soccer? We see the frenzy that Messi has already caused here stateside in a week or two weeks.

We know that the World Cup is going to be swinging on this side of the globe in 2026. What do you think the growth of football or soccer is going to look like here stateside over the next bunch of years? Yeah, I mean, I think that soccer in the US is probably one of the most exciting places to be in sport in men's and women's soccer.

It's incredible to see what's happened as Messi's arrived. The US women's national team has always been pioneers in women's soccer across the world, and they will continue to be. And the NWSL is growing and expanding, and there's a lot more investment and excitement. And I think it's a super, super exciting space. And yeah, I'm pumped to see where it goes. I think over the next decade, it's going to be a main, the MLS as well, is going to be one of the main and respected leagues around the world. And yeah, I'm really excited to see it grow over the next 10 years.

I think it's going to be huge. Well, Rosie, thank you so much for taking the time out and calling us all the way from New Zealand, coming live to us, really, from the Women's World Cup. Where can people follow you and your work as you continue to expand and grow and keep things rolling?

Well, with the work I'm doing with Risselman Arts Club, the Supporting You With UC.com website is for, is a great resource for patients and family members. And for me personally, Instagram, Rosie White, that's me. But yes, that's me. Okay. Thank you so much, Rosie. All the best to you, okay? Awesome. Thank you so much. No doubt about it. We were having a conversation with Rosie White, two-time Olympian, three-time Women's World Cup player, dropping in to talk to us about the Women's World Cup. In the interim, while I sit here in the studio, watching the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio, a little bit closer to home, the lights are out.

I'm not joking. This feels like the Super Bowl in New Orleans between both the Ravens and the Niners. The Jets lead this game 16 to 14. They just, they can't even start the fourth quarter. There's 15 minutes left. Rob Salah and, and Stefanski are standing around at, at half midfield. And Shub, what the hell?

What do they do? The lights are out. What I was going to ask you was, is this an omen for both franchises this season? I know there's a lot of hype with the Jets and they're awfully confident with that Mr. Rogers neighborhood guy, but we know the Browns, we know they've struggled lately.

Watson hasn't been the answer. Is this an omen for both seasons, JR? This ain't no omen. The lights are broken. You're thinking too hard about it. The lights are just broken. Well, we don't, you don't, listen, other than the Super Bowl with the Ravens and the Niners, you don't see this too often.

They're playing in Canton, Ohio. That's true. Okay. The lights are out. How about this?

Hall of Fame game? What? The lights are out. Just, just go home. Everybody leave. And I think quite a few fans have already decided to empty out of the stadium.

Technical difficulties. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. Thank you again to Rosie White for joining us to talk some, some Women's World Cup, Women's World Cup, and they on the other side of the world.

We're talking Australia, New Zealand, where it is currently 2.30 in the afternoon. Thank you Rosie White for joining us. 855-212-4CBS.

If you want to talk to me, that's 855-212-4CBS. Told you football is growing. Soccer is growing.

One of the most accomplished or the most accomplished football player in NFL history. He's buying in to a soccer team. I'm going to tell you who and what team it is on the other side of the break. I'm going to take your phone calls and maybe, just maybe, the lights will be back on in Canton, Ohio.

Somebody didn't pay the bill. It's the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. I think I speak for everyone saying that your show is the best, man. At the end of the day, there's nothing like sitting back, listening to you, and just, you know, life is stressful right now, and I think you calm us all down.

It's nice to just listen to what you have to say. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. 855-212-4CBS.

It's 855-212-4CBS. The lights are back on in Canton, Ohio. Hall of Fame game is back underway. Somebody flipped the switch. Somebody paid the bill after a delay. I don't know how long it was.

It felt like 10-15 minutes. The lights are back on. Right when they were getting ready to start the fourth quarter, one entire half of the stadium went dark, and so the New York Jets, a bunch of fifth stringers, guys who will be cut, they're currently beating the Browns 16-14. The Browns have the football, I don't know, probably about their own 45-yard line right now, looking to do some damage and get on the board here. So congratulations to everybody fighting for a job.

I ain't mad at anybody looking for a check. Thank you again to Rosie White for joining us on the other side of the break, representing New Zealand in football and now a commentator for Sky Sports. Also attended school here at UCLA and played in the NWSL. Thank you to Rosie for coming on to talk some soccer slash football with us. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. At the top of the hour, you know, we just talked about football and the growth of it. There is an NFL superstar who's investing in soccer. We'll talk about that, and then Michael Jordan officially out as owner of the Hornets. We'll get there. 855-212-4CBS. Robbie is here from Jacksonville. You're on the JR Sport Brief Show. Hey, JR. What's going on tonight, man? I'm good, man. Please, go ahead. Yes, sir. So I just started listening to the show just briefly just a second ago. I heard you talking a little bit about soccer.

Not going to take up much of your time. Sir, this is the worst United States women's team that I can remember and the history of me watching it. There's no inspiration. I don't know if you heard what Carly Lloyd said the other day, but she's spot on, man.

Like, every... I've heard every... Well, we want... Let's add some perspective. I heard everything that she had to say, and she talked about how this team was misdirecting their energy post-game, and she was critical of them not being kind of driven to go out there and win. We have the sound if you guys want to hear it again. Yes, please.

Let's hear it. Just seeing these images for the first time right now on the desk, I have never witnessed something like that. There's a difference between being respectful of the fans and saying hello to your family, but to be dancing, to be smiling, I mean, the player of the match was that post. You were lucky to not be going home right now. And she's accurate.

That is courtesy of a Fox. So please continue on, Robbie. So, Mom, it's not even the after game stuff that I even care about, man. Like, you know, a win's a win, right? Celebrate it.

That's fine. It's more so the lack of movement, the lack of game plan throughout this entire World Cup. They are playing kickball, man. They're playing dink and dunk. There is no movement through the midfield.

There's no overlapping runs. It's not the same type of team that we typically will see from the United States women's team. And, you know, I don't know if that's the coach, the system.

I'm not a huge fan of the women's coach, but, you know, that's just my opinion. So, okay, I'll let you go. Appreciate you.

Let me get on. All right. Well, thank you, Robbie, for calling from Jacksonville.

I'd give you a retort. But, man, I wasn't sitting up at 3 in the morning watching them play that last game. And I'm glad I didn't. They scored nothing.

I guess you're right. I know what happened. They ain't scored a damn goal. The game, and it was, well, that game, the one you're referring to, they didn't win that game. They drew. It was 1-1. The last game that they just played, they drew that game, too.

Nothing, nothing. And they almost lost, as you just heard. They almost lost, I think, about the 93rd minute the ball went off the post.

They could have lost. It's like watching a free throw. The opposing team has a chance to knock you out of the game and win on a free throw. And it rattles around, rattles around, rattles around, goes in, and rolls out.

That's basically what just saved the women's ass. That doesn't sound appropriate. But you understand what I'm saying. Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you I'm up at 3 a.m. I did not watch that match. Hell no.

I was asleep. What I do know is that this is a younger team. You certainly do have criticism of this team from some players that are no longer there.

You certainly do have criticism there. Megan Rapinoe is on the team and she's talking about how she can help and they need to play her more minutes. Look, we're so used to the United States of America whooping ass in just about all sports.

Days are probably over, man. It's nice to have a little bit of a globalization, right? Look at the NBA. Look at the people who are winning MVP. Look at the guys who are coming over and competing in the NBA. And you just heard it from Rosie as well when we spoke to her. This is not just a given that the United States of America is just going to show up and bulldoze everybody. It's pretty nice to have some parity here. By the way, the Women's World Cup has been rolling since 1991.

The US women have won three of those cups. Give somebody else a chance. Go for it. 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. Patrick is here from San Diego. Shout out to everybody listening on the fan.

Patrick, you're on CBS Sports Radio. Well, JR, I just wanted to let you know there's about four words for San Diego. No humidity and no bugs. That is the one thing I hear from everybody that moves here.

It's a pretty nice place. Yeah, we don't have winter. We don't have football. But we're lucky we don't have football because if we had to pay the price of the NFL charges, people now, you could not afford to buy a house or live or rent in San Diego.

It's pretty darn expensive here. I love it. I've been, man. I love it.

But go ahead. No, the reason I called is I'm watching these teams jump conferences and the Pac-12 fall apart. And now the ACC is getting wobbly.

And I don't know why these schools... I know why. It's the dollars. It's that big ticket. But you got a fan base and you got donors you got to keep happy.

And here's a quick quiz for all your listeners. What conferences is Vander built in? And I guarantee about 50% of your audience doesn't know they're in the SEC because they are irrelevant and invisible. So when I see schools like USC and UCLA jump into the Big Ten, they're not going to be able to recruit and play their game. USC is always overrated because they play in the Pac-12. Oregon, Washington, if they go to the Big Ten, they're going to be an afterthought. As far as Florida State complaining and wanting more money, I just looked while I was on hold, I was looking at their record.

They were like five and three, two and six, four and four. And the ACC and they're complaining that they deserve more money, they need to stop looking at their own Instagram and get a little bit of a wake-up call. That's my thought. I think the NFL is turning or the NCAA is turning into the NFL and it's going to be two losses in a row.

Well, FSU was looking at the 30 million dollars they're getting and they're looking at the 50 that's going around in the SEC and they say, hey, we want the extra 10 and 20 mil. Hey, Patrick, thank you so much for calling from San Diego. We're up against the break. It's the JR Sport Reshow here with you on CBS Sports Radio. We talked about that a lot last night. We'll get into it some more.

We'll talk Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and Charles Barkley on the other side of the break here on CBS Sports Radio. Nine out of ten women feel pressured to conform to unspoken hair rules.
