Yeah, and a big thank you to everybody out there, you know, keeping people safe, saving lives, protecting folks, appreciate you, doing some interesting work out there. And shout outs to that officer. He called, what he called two weeks ago? He said he pulled somebody over.

And he said that the guy who he pulled over was listening to the show. And so he didn't give him a ticket because they shared a laugh over something I said. And so if I saved you from a ticket, I'm not thanking you. You owe me. Send me some money.

Cash app. Anyway, I'll be here with you for the next three hours. I get started 10 p.m. Eastern, 7 Pacific. I'm being joined by super producer and host Dave Sheppard. He's coming to you live from New York City. And we've already had a busy show.

If you follow me on social media at JR Sport Brief, you already have known about the things that we have started to discuss. Stefan Diggs showed up to work today. His head coach, Sean McDermott, actually told everybody, I don't know why it took him 24 hours, but he told everybody, yeah, I told him go home.

It was an excused absence. What the hell took you so long? Why didn't you just say that yesterday? Got people running around thinking that Stefan Diggs is nuts, that y'all got beef, and maybe you do have beef, but why make the issue worse? So we talked about Stefan Diggs. You know, earlier today, the rumors started to roll. Really only two days from the Denver Nuggets winning a championship. This has nothing to do with the Nuggets, but we're already starting to get the reports about player movement in the NBA. The NBA draft is next week, and you're hearing things that the Pelicans, they'd be open to moving Zion.

Wow. You might need a forklift to move Zion, but they're open to doing it. Bradley Beal, who is the only dude out of 450 players in the NBA, Bradley Beal has a no trade clause, but because the Washington Wizards have a new GM, they have a new president, they got everything that's brand new. They might want to move Bradley Beal.

Well, good. I don't know who wants Bradley Beal and Zion. I don't know if they're going to show up and actually be healthy enough to play games, but sure. There's a sucker born every day, and so let's see what happens with Zion. I would think he stays, and let's see what happens with Bradley Beal. I think we've known for years he's going to get moved.

How he got a five-year contract, $251 million, is beyond me, but I guess that's why Tommy Shepard was fired as the Wizards GM. And so we have so much more to get into throughout the remainder of the night. If you know this by now, or you should know this by now, every Wednesday I bring you a new top six list. And tonight we're going to talk about some of the most unlikely stars that we have in the sports world, that we have seen in the sports world, and so we'll do that about an hour from now. And so we have more to get into. For whatever reason, all the folks down the road from me here in Atlanta with the Bulldogs, the Georgia Bulldogs football squad, they just accumulate a ridiculous amount of driving issues.

We'll talk about that. Speaking of issues, Trevor Bauer is not in Major League Baseball, but he is still being sued. It seems like he's, I don't know if he's trying to catch up with Deshaun Watson, but Trevor Bauer still has a bunch of issues. And then Justin Herbert. I told you about Stephan Diggs showed up to work. You don't got to worry about that with Justin Herbert. Justin Herbert told everybody that I'm waiting on my money, but I will be here at work.

So we got a lot to do here. If you want to talk to me, it's simple. The phone number is 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. You know, now that the NBA season is done, now that the NHL season is done, I just needed to take some time and to just show love. I don't know if it's show love, maybe that's wrong, but I actually want to pinpoint and talk about a particular city. You know, last hour we said, what team and what city? If Zion gets moved, where should he go? Well, Zion should go somewhere where the food is terrible and someplace where he can't find a good looking woman.

I'll leave that to your own imagination as to what that city might be. Now, having said that, thank God there's no team in Vegas, right? Because if Zion Williamson went to Vegas, he'd be eating, you know, $600 steak. He'd be finding people on the strip.

It'd be a bad situation for him. But Vegas eventually is going to have an NBA team. Vegas as a sports town has just grown over the past several years and we knew that was going to be the case. The Las Vegas Aces started playing. They relocated from San Antonio in 2018.

The Las Vegas Aces and the WNBA, they won a championship last year. We all know about the Raiders. Unfortunately for all my friends in Oakland, we know the Raiders are not in Oakland anymore. The Raiders are in Vegas.

And I mean, they got Tom Brady now as a part of their ownership group that needs to be formalized. And the Raiders have been there since the pandemic. They've been there since 2020. You have the Las Vegas Golden Knights. They just won a championship last night. They won the Stanley Cup. They've been there since 2017. They went to the Stanley Cup finals in their first year.

They didn't win it, but they finally got the job done. And so sports in Vegas is growing by leaps and bounds. It's not just, here's the UFC, you know, here's a boxing match so people can show up and gamble. It's not just the entertainment capital of the world or America. It's a sports town. And I know there's some people who want to dump on Vegas. Oh, there's, they don't have a big enough population and oh, they're not real sports fans. Oh, they're real tours. Vegas as a city is growing. And so there's interest.

Really it is. I mean, the people who play there enjoy it. Hey, let's take a listen to some of the guys who just won a Stanley Cup. These are the Las Vegas Golden Knights talking about the fans, the fans, the real fans, people who live there.

This is courtesy of Sportsnet. Can you give us one word to describe Golden Knights fans? That's a lot of words that can describe them. Loyal. Loud. Can you give us one word to describe Golden Knights fans? Electric, I guess. That's a good one. Amazing. Passionate.

Yeah, those are blanket terms, right? I can say loud to a lot of people in Vegas, but pretty accurate. And if you watched the game last night, the fans were into it.

And sure, I'd be into it too if my team was beaten up on the other team in a clincher, nine to three. But the fans in Vegas were out in droves. It wasn't just inside T-Mobile Arena, which is right off the strip. They were right outside the arena by the thousands.

They had to have been another, I don't know, five to six, 7,000 people just standing outside. You want to tell me that Vegas doesn't have sports fans? That doesn't have a passionate group of fans who want to show up and root for a team? Hey, let's ask a billionaire. Let's take a look at someone like LeBron James. Before this NBA season even got underway, LeBron James has been lobbying for a few things. He's been doing that for years and why not? You got the stroke, you got the power, use it. He wants to play with his son.

Let's see what happens in a year. He wants to be in Space Jam. Sure, he's LeBron James.

Do a deal with Warner Brothers, get it done. LeBron James is a billionaire. He has money.

He has resources. And we also know that the NBA, at one point in time, at some point in time, they're going to expand. We're likely to have a team in Seattle. Maybe Louisville gets a team. Maybe Kansas City gets a squad. You want to know what city is going to get an NBA team? For sure, for certain? Las Vegas. LeBron James knows so.

Listen to this billionaire. Oh, it's wonderful. It's the best fan base in the world. And I would love to bring a team here at some point. That would be amazing. I know Adam is in Abu Dhabi right now, I believe. That's where they're at right now? Yeah, with the Bucks in Atlanta.

But he probably sees every single interview and transcript that comes through from NBA players. I want the team here, Adam. Thank you. It may take five years. It may take six years. It might take 10 years.

I don't think it'll take that long. But, yeah. Las Vegas is going to get a basketball team.

Let's think about this. Did Las Vegas have a football team in the NFL? Nope. Did it have a Major League Baseball franchise? Nope.

Still doesn't. But it looked like the A's are on its way. Does it have an NBA team? No. Did it have an NFL squad? No. Did it have a hockey team?

No. Why all of a sudden? Well, it's because gambling is now, it's widely recognized.

It's becoming legalized slowly but surely all over North America. You don't got to go to the casino. Ask Calvin Ridley. You can just open up your phone. You can place a bet. You don't got to go find a sports book. You don't, you don't got to go into a back room. You don't got to find a bookie.

You can just open up your phone. The NBA has been holding Summer League in Vegas for years. Everybody's cool with it. The United States of America is late to the party. It really is.

It really is. We've had mobile betting overseas in other parts of the world, especially surrounding football, soccer forever. And now the United States of America is just getting down. And so Vegas, which was looked upon as just a, just as a, we can't touch it. It's too dangerous.

It's too dirty. You could be playing right now in, I don't know, Denver, Colorado. You could be playing here in Atlanta like Calvin Ridley and you could place a bet.

He's now a Jaguar, but when he was betting, he was here. You don't have to be in Vegas to find trouble. You don't have to be in LA. You don't have to be in Miami. You don't have to be in New York.

You don't have to be in Houston. You can just find trouble in your phone. You can find trouble on Instagram. You can find trouble on, I don't know, fill in the blank, fan duel, draft game. You can find trouble anywhere. There was actually a report out today that an NFL player and thank God it didn't appear to be the NFL.

Otherwise they could be a bigger story. There was a report today that an NFL player lost $8 million this past year, just in gambling. Just in gambling.

Yeah. You, me, I'd love to lose $8 million. I love to just have it fall out of the sky and enter my bank account. Now that's a whole different piece of trouble, but guess what? You don't have to find it in Vegas. And so Vegas as a city is no longer being punished. It's not.

And good. Because there are human beings who live in Vegas. There are human beings who relax, who, who have jobs, who don't go onto the strip and just drink and party and go on vacation. No, there are humans in Vegas.

It's a unique market, but it is a market with people. They have a population that can support sports teams and franchises and good for them. Tom Brady in Vegas, LeBron James wants a piece of Vegas.

That crap owner from the Oakland Athletics. He wants Vegas. The leagues want Vegas. Everybody wants Vegas.

Why? Because they can make money. And it shouldn't have had to bend this long, but everybody has to walk around like they are, uh, you know, morally, morally competent. They have to toll the line. We had to wait for gambling to become legalized almost all over the place before we can just say, all right, screw it. Now it's time to go in. Congratulations, Vegas.

Welcome to the scene. I don't know if the Raiders are going to pick up a championship anytime soon. You know, there's not even an NBA team in Vegas yet. I'm sure whatever that Vegas NBA team is, I'm sure they'll win a championship before the Raiders. Maybe the A's too.

It's the JR sport brief show here with you on CBS sports radio. Congratulations to the golden Knights. Hey, Vegas deserves it, man.

It's a city just like every place else. 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. That's 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. It's due time. I don't think there's anything wrong with Vegas. You find trouble anywhere. I'm going to take your calls on the other side. We're going to get into Justin Herbert and speaking of trouble, we're going to talk about the Georgia Bulldogs here on CBS sports radio.

Don't move. You're listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio. You're listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio. Hey, how you doing, man? I listen to you every night on the way home from work. I appreciate what you're doing, man.

You're a bad mamma jamma. Call in now at 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. It's the JR sport brief show on CBS sports radio. You know, right before we went to break, we took some time to talk about Vegas. Las Vegas is a sports city, sports town, known for its tourism and its shows, its parties, its food, its costs.

It can cost people a whole lot. Maybe a marriage, maybe a relationship. It's it's a sports town now. You got the Las Vegas Golden Knights champions. You got the Las Vegas Aces and the WNBA champions. You got the Raiders who now play in Vegas. And oh my God, if you haven't been to Allegiant Stadium to see a game yet, if you can go to Vegas Stadium to see a game yet, if you can go, do it.

Absolutely beautiful. One of the biggest, best stadiums in the entire country. It's it's you don't got to be a Raiders fan to enjoy that place.

I enjoy everything about it. You're going to have the Oakland Athletics. It's not finalized, but it's it's looking likely. We know that they're going to get an NBA team at some point.

LeBron James telling everybody, this is what I want. Congratulations, Vegas. You're not just known as a party town. And like the people in the residents who live there, they actually got something to root for. Did you see the thousands upon thousands of people in the desert to watch hockey, to watch the Golden Knights? They weren't just inside the arena.

They were outside as well. And so good for them. They don't have to deal with the whole Vegas is going to corrupt sports thing.

You don't got to be in Vegas to be corrupted. 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. That's 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. Speaking of a little bit of corruption, I'm going to tell you about what's going on with Georgia football. Man, son, there's some news, bad news, a string of bad news coming out of that program when it comes down to their athletes and them getting behind the game.

Getting behind the wheel of a vehicle. It's terrible. Let's go ahead and talk to Greg from Michigan. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, Greg? Hey, Jr. Mr. Positive. Oh my God, so much to unpack. Great show tonight.

Real quick. Zion Williamson will be the greatest bust in almost sports history. At least one of them.

I can't help it. And I love your take on the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. My boy Elvis and Sinatra put it on the map and wow, as it flourished and three, what can we glean from the Vegas Knights winning the championship in six years and here in Detroit? We haven't won a championship in 15 years. What can we learn from because there's not a lot of big stars on Vegas and it's weird. The owner said, yep, or whoever said the general manager said, yep, we're going to win the championship in six years.

I mean, what are chutzpah, if you will, what, what, what, well, a lot of people say things and they don't always come to fruition. We can go ahead and take a look at Jimmy Butler who pretty much told us up and down that they were going to win this and win that and where's Jimmy Butler right now on vacation. So, I'm not going to lean too much into, you know, athletes making predictions because most times they don't happen. What I will tell you is it comes down to ownership. If you want to take a look at the Detroit Lions and then you want to say, hey, what the hell happened here with the Vegas Knights?

Well, it's, it's, it's, it's a rare, it's, it's, it's rare. You don't see expansion teams just wake up and find success right out of the gate. You know, we can think about the Jags and then think about what their long history has been for the most part unsuccessful. So I will say ownership. I mean, when, when you got a team in a franchise, it's been around for 50, 60, 70, 80 plus years and you ain't winning nothing. I think it starts at the top and yeah, a broken clock can be correct twice a day, every now and then you might get lucky. And sometimes that's how it goes.

But I think in a lot of cases, it's owners who don't know how to get the hell out of their own way. And maybe the lions right now, which Sheila Ford leading the way, you know, maybe, maybe things have turned Todd or the tide has turned. Nice thoughts chair. Thanks for taking my call and everybody go for your dreams.

Love you all. Thank you, Greg, for calling from Michigan. Yeah, maybe Sheila Ford can help change things around. A lot of optimism surrounding the Detroit Lions and with good reason, man. They, they ended the season. Looked like Dan Campbell was going to get the boot and that they were going to be the same old lions and, and, and here they are this season.

I think not going to the playoffs would be just a, a massive disappointment, especially with all the offensive weapons that they've been able to pull in. 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. Chris is calling from California. You're on the JR sport brief show. How are you doing tonight? I'm good.

What's on your mind quickly? I just heard you on the Vegas thing. I mean, you know, I mean, I get it, but I wanted to throw somebody.

If you don't mind, I'm going just cruise by the Cal Berkeley. You know, they turn out some great, great running backs. Do you know who their all-time leading rusher is?

University of California at Chuck Buncee, Marshawn Lynch. Let me throw out your, you're probably going to get it, but I don't think too many people. I would, I would think it's, it's Marshawn, but we'll hold on. It's Russell White, Russell White. Okay. But before, before you do that, well, hold on. Sorry, sir. You're not going to call me, sir.

We're not that formal. What does that have to do with Vegas? You mentioned Vegas and then talk about your driving by Cal Burke. What does it have to do with anything? Hey, it just popped into my mind, man.

I'm cruising home. And, uh, you know, I thought about Russell White because I went by Cal Berkeley. He's Cal's all-time leading rusher. He's Crespi's all-time leading rusher. Crespi is a goat school. St. Cyril.

I mean, Crespi is like, you know, Joe Carabino, Harvard's all-time leading scorer. Do people know who he is? He was in here behind me. Well, I don't, I don't know, Chris.

We, we all, we all aren't based in, in the Bay, Chris. I understand that. I'm just saying, you know, these guys popped into my mind. You're thinking about Russell White and then Joe Carabino, Paul Mokheski, Jim Yance. He was my starting power forward.

I'm in 10th grade. Jim Yance is Mokheski's power forward at 6, 9, 2, 8. Well, hold on, Chris. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Yes, sir.

Don't call me, sir. What else has popped into your head over the past, let's say, uh, two hours? Tell us.

Well, um, prior to this, I'm hanging out with Fisherman's Wharf. Okay. Okay. Stop.

We don't. Okay. And before that, what popped into your head? Uh, I'm going to quit smoking today. Oh, that's good.

And before, before you decided to quit smoking, what else popped into your head? Let's blow up the Frisco. All right. And when's the last time you've been to Vegas?

Uh, to Vegas or Reno? Hold on a second. Oh my God. Hold on a second. Hey, how you doing there, JR? I'm okay.

I'm okay. Hey, Shep, I got a question for you. Yes. If I ask you, when is the last time you've been to Brooklyn? Are you going to ask me Brooklyn or the Bronx?

Or are you just going to answer? Uh, well, uh, given, given, uh, that I'm going to go along with this discussion, I'm going to say, do you mean what about Manhattan? Hey, hey, hey, have you been to, uh, hey, when's the last time you've been to Miami? Oh, what?

Miami or Orlando? I will say this about Chris in California though. Don't say anything. Don't. Well, I do respect the chutzpah and just the absolute free association he lives his life with. Well, that's good. We don't want to, we don't want him living free here. Well, he's already there JR. Well, he's not here, right? He's on hold right now. That's true. Hold on.

Let's bring him back. Hey, Chris, why did you decide to stop smoking? Well, my doctor warned me in 2009, actually, to stop smoking because she said, if you continue to smoke, there's a good chance you're going to get COPD. You know, you're not far away from it. I quit on the spot, JR and Shep, right on the spot for five years. And then like, you know, I got into a stressful situation in like 2014, 2015 or something, you know, my job.

So, I was smoking again. Okay. You know, it's hard, man. Hey, next time you get stressed, just punch your boss in the face. I wish I could do that, my friend, but.

You can. Don't take advice from me too. Don't, don't do that. Hey, Chris, I appreciate you, man.

Take care of my brothers. I love you guys. All right, thank you. I didn't say I love him back because I don't. I appreciate him listening, but I don't love him. It's the JR sport brief show here with you on CBS Sports Radio 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. We're going to take a break when we come back. Unfortunately, I have to talk about how the, the Georgia Bulldogs, they're football players, too many of them, they're in love with, with reckless driving. The numbers are astounding. I'm going to get some more of your calls and then at the top of the hour, I'm going to deliver to you a new top six list. We're going to talk about some of the most unlikely stars that we've seen in the world of sports. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. I do want to say I've never called in. I love listening to you.

I've been listening for years and man, your show and what you say is just beautiful. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here on CBS Sports Radio 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. I'm going to get to your calls in a second. At the top of the hour, I'm going to give you a new top six list. We're going to look at some of the most unlikely stars in the world of sports. It's a top six list of the most unlikely stars in sports and before we went to break, I told you about Vegas as a sports city.

It's growing. Golden Knights won a championship, Stanley Cup, Las Vegas Aces won for the WNBA. We got the Raiders out in Vegas. We know eventually the NBA is going to have a team out in Vegas.

I don't think anybody's moving but I will definitely have an expansion squad out there sooner than later and I told you it's due time because you can get in trouble anywhere and I mentioned this ESPN and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution right here in Georgia. I guess and this is what happens when you are an investigative reporter. You got time on your hands.

You start looking into things. We all know about the the terrible car accident which cost one of the Bulldogs his life. Also one of their staffers right after their their championship parade and we know NFL draft, well he's not a draftee anymore, he's the part of the Eagles. Jalen Carter unfortunately was involved.

Thank God on his part he's he's here with us. He's still alive but as a part of ESPN's reporting in the AJC's reporting, since January, since that accident, the Bulldogs have had 10 players have violations since the crash in January. Since 2021, the Georgia Bulldogs right down the road from here in Atlanta, down in Athens, down 78, since 2021, they've had more than 60 violations. Everything from speeding, distracted driving, reckless driving, disobeying traffic signs and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution takes it a step further. They said since Kirby Smart has taken over in 2015, the program's players have been charged with nearly 300 traffic violations. Now for my folks listening here in Atlanta 92-9 the game, listening in Georgia, man you can wake up one morning and you could just have a whole rally if you're in the middle of the city like I'm on Peachtree right now.

You you could just go outside. I can leave the show and it's just like oh well there's a million cars doing donuts and the city is just trying to stop this and then once you get outside of the perimeter, outside of Atlanta proper, man you you got space and so I guess people out in Athens even further out from the city about an hour away, I guess the Bulldogs ain't got nothing to do and they're not practicing. Kirby Smart addressed this months ago but he's gonna have to address it again because the numbers are just they're ridiculous. Take a listen to Kirby Smart from a while ago about how they educate their players.

I guess it doesn't work. To be honest with you I've never been a part of a program where that was something you you had to repeatedly address and and as I said in the past we we had a session this summer where we brought in Athens-Clarke County Police and UGA Police and addressed a lot of these issues with our team actually in a team meeting setting and played some video of things that were going on in Atlanta with drag racing and things things that just concern you we do that with drugs and alcohol we do that with domestic violence we try to have education programs but education is not enough you know you you have to do a great job of making sure your players understand the risks and dangers that are out there with vehicles especially nowadays that are they go really fast you've got to be extremely careful and we we we try to educate and make sure our players understand those risks. It's crazy car culture interesting cars it's nuts here in Atlanta I mean my my good buddy Hugh Douglas former Eagle shout outs to Hugh Douglas up at WIP in Philly he had his car they stole his car twice not the same one but they stole his car twice there's always something going on with vehicles I don't know what's going on but the the Bulldogs man they they got some issues here outside of just trying to go out and repeat back to back to back 855-2124 CBS it's 855-2124 CBS everybody on the road right now and just be safe. Lewis calling from Rochester you're on the JR Sport Brief Show. Hey JR yeah that was disturbing what you just said they probably need counseling more than they need law enforcement seminars but anyway I'm really not calling about that but it's definitely compelling the way you stated it.

I'm concerned about McDermott I think he's he painted Diggs in a light that wasn't appropriate Diggs met with Bean and him and for him to show supposedly concern over a glorified minicamp practice was not appropriate in my opinion it's not like he was AWOL it prompted Diggs to actually post a response in social media yeah saying he's basically somebody's lying yeah no no kidding yeah absolutely man you are too smart yeah we we know we talked about this last hour and I made it very clear that maybe this is a learning experience for Sean McDermott he hasn't had a wide receiver with the talent of of Stephon Diggs but at the same time this is a failure from the Buffalo Bills to just nip this in the bud like Sean McDermott made this a larger story than than what it needed to be he could have sat there yesterday at the press conference and simply said hey we're working through uh the issue that we had at the end of last season Stephon is very passionate about what the offense needs to look like we obviously want to continue on we have him here under contract and we're just working through through figuring out what's best for our offense for everybody and that's it he didn't need to go into he wasn't here and then I'm not going to talk about it like he he made things worse and so I hope this is a learning experience for him and that here and in June that when we get to next month this can all be done but the fact is it's not going to go anywhere until and unless the Buffalo Bills have success and people are going to go on and on about it you know the first time that Stephon Diggs is unhappy with a pass from Josh Allen or unhappy that he doesn't get the ball we're going to be reminded about what just took place over the past six months and it didn't need to be that McDermott just put another chapter in the book when he didn't need to 855-212-4CBS Christian is calling from Toronto you're on the GR sport brief show how you doing today I'm damn good Christian how about you not bad you know my question is in regards to the Vegas and getting the Oakland A's I understand that Canada has nothing close to Vegas eh but we had the Grizzlies in Vancouver we had the expos in Quebec I just want to know why we're lacking American professional sports in Canada well what would what would you look for I think we know the reasons why those those teams whether it be the expos or the Grizzlies we know why they moved they they didn't draw they didn't draw Vancouver was was rushed you had a lot of players who didn't necessarily want to go Vancouver pretty far from everything else it's I don't want to say tucked away but it's as far as you can go in the Pacific Northwest what would you expect to happen now what team do you want what league what are you looking for I'm I I know it's not realistic but I think somewhere in Canada we gotta have room for the Oakland A's somewhere somehow I don't know if it's realistic at all but where would you put them in Vancouver you'd be infringing on Seattle territory just about I would put him in Quebec I'd put him back in Montreal I think that it's not Vegas by any means but I think Montreal would be a spot where you have a fan base you could bring the existing Oakland A fans I I know they're not gonna fly all the way to Montreal yeah but gg yeah I'm glad you called it pie in the sky it's it's geographically that's that's wild it's one thing to move the the Raiders from the bay to Vegas because geographically you can drive there I don't know too many people who are gonna say oh my god I'm gonna drive from the bay to Montreal and I'm stretching it out here but you you're not doing that if if anything Montreal would happen would have to have an expansion franchise they're not just gonna move them cross-country like that man do you do you think it's a pipe dream to see another American major sports team in Canada whether it's no another hockey team baseball NBA we'll throw hockey throw hockey out the window yeah we got too many already yeah hockey is is pretty much done and set no I expect at some point in time for for Canada to end up with another you know major professional sports franchise I think it's gonna be a while man I wouldn't hold my breath on it sorry hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm yeah it's only my opinion but what do I know I'm just an idiot on the radio thank you Christian no idiot you're a great guy brother oh well thank you I can be a great idiot hey Bruce is calling from New Orleans they got no problem with having sports teams in New Orleans right well look what happened to Zion but I think he got the woman from Dallas anyway Bruce is calling from New Orleans you're on CBS Sports Radio what's up Bruce New Orleans is a great city but you know one thing about it we have great food the only problem I have with your show is it comes on from nine o'clock to 11 on 8 70 a.m and I would really like to stay on until midnight and I talk to the radio station down here I have a little friends but they say they're on the contract with somebody else anyway with that being said the people down here think Zion really should play football you can't play flag football like let's basketball or tackle or anything right I like the way you handle the public I used to be a bartender in the front of the house and you noticed I didn't ask me how you were doing because I know you always look great have a great show and I'm still listening oh thank you so much Bruce for calling from New Orleans Bruce wants me to Bruce called my people at WWL what's up WWL I love New Orleans I love it I love it I love it I love it look hey chef what did you say he wanted he called a radio station yes to voice to voice when how you should be on longer be next stay tuned it's the JR sport reshow on CBS sports radio eight five five two one two four CBS that's eight five five two one two four CBS let's try to get Jesse on Jesse you gotta go quick go ahead hey hey Jer I'll go quick hey on the whole Vegas thing I just wanted to say that you know like back in the day I think like when you went to Vegas you know it was just for basically mom and dad and you went you gambled you had a good time it was not for like kids or families and I think that it's just business like it's just business like today Vegas wants all of your money they don't just want mom and dad's money but they want mom and dad to take you out to the ballpark take you out to the water slides you know go get a family meal and then go do some gambling so I think it just I think at the age just happened to be the team that you know they're not happy where they're at and being from California and being close to the bay area I get it JR I get that you know they look around and they see packed stadiums and big TV deals and like you said earlier the people in Vegas you know they're just people too there's families out there it's just not all nightlife and glitzy and it's just it's just money you got NASCAR out there now you got okay now Jesse now we gotta stop thank you Jesse appreciate it have a good night you too man I like how you got it in there it's the
