Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia, Texas Tech rammed out the top four. Looks like Miami is cooked. BYU got the championship game coming this weekend for the Big 12 against Texas Tech. Looks like Satake, he's going to stick around. He ain't going nowhere.
He's not going to Penn State. Good for him. Bad for Penn State. That really sucks for them. Just gave you an injury update in the in the NFL.
Justin Herbert had his hand surgery. He's going to try to play on Monday against the Eagles. He has no idea. And we've had a lot of guests. Thank you to Jerry Palm for joining us.
from pawnprackets.com to talk about this college football playoff. I mean, we today was it? We're going to get the official rankings come Sunday. after the conference championship games. He's not our only guest.
We talked about the New England Patriots with Kyle Hightower. Covers all things patriots for the Associated Press in Boston. And thank you as well.
So Will Graves, Will Graves came through. He covers the Steelers for the Associated Press as well. If you've missed a minute. or a second. or five minutes of the show.
If you want to go back in time, if you called me. and you want to hear yourself on the radio. Just hit rewind. on the Free Odyssey app. We got more to get into.
Oh, I can't wait for this.
Now, I'm ready for this. Listen. You I well, I know you're listening. We got a couple of players. who are refuting Parts of the statement from Lane Kiffen.
Yeah, the message that he wrote about how he wanted to leave and You know, the players wanted him to stay.
Well, there's a couple players going, uh-uh, no, bro. We ain't want your ass. Oh man, I'm gonna read that to you. In a second, Of course, at the end of the show, we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. And that's not all, folks.
We got a couple of legends. Uh Are they coming back? I don't know. There were some rumors today that Serena Williams might return. To tennis?
And Serena uh gave her thoughts on those rumors. And then we heard from Tiger Woods. This man's back, they have cut this man's back open so many damn times. I'm like, they cut him open again? And now he gave an update on I can I even say his return?
So we'll talk about Serena and get into Tiger Woods. It's been busy. Yesterday, I mentioned it. We didn't have a chance to get into it. It's uh everybody's beefing with everybody.
And Michael Jordan has a lawsuit out against NASCAR. He's like, I'm Michael Jordan. I do what I want. You're not telling me what I want to do. If I want to race my damn cars, that NASCAR, I'm going to do so.
Okay.
So, we'll get into all that. We got legends. Who would have thought that we'd have a show? Michael Jordan, Serena, and Tiger Woods all mentioned. What year is it?
Is it 1998? Botch, is it 1998 or 2025? They're saying 2025 is a new 98. Is it 1998? Okay.
That's nice. Ah, trying to remember. What do I remember about 1998? Hmm.
Well, well, outside of the three people that I just mentioned, Mike Utah Jazz, Michael Jordan beating AS again. Oh man. That just stunk. What do you know? This is a bad idea.
This is a bad thing to even question. But, Bach, I'm going to say it. Don't feel obligated to answer. I was thinking about 1998. You even mentioned John Stockton earlier in the show.
What he was doing at his age 40 season as LeBron's getting ready to turn 41. What do you think Carl Malone is doing right now? Uh he's probably on his ranch. He's hunting? Hunting Probably Horse racing, maybe?
Grazing horses, cattle.
Okay.
All right. Yeah. I'm going to stop right there, Honor. Carmelo. Anyway, speaking of people that folks don't like, you can put Car Malone in that category.
Just go ahead, just Google it. Just Google Car Malone and. Why people may not like him, go for it. Anyway, I just told you people don't like Lane Kiffen, we know why. This guy burns bridges and Light stings to the ground when he leaves.
He's like the Joker for uh uh Who uh heath heath the ledger? When he played the Joker in Batman and he walked away from the. Was it the hospital he lit on fire, Bosh, or the hospital? Yeah, he blew up the hospital. And all it was is just Boom, flames.
He just walked away like a crazy person because he is nuts. Just in flames. This is what Lane Kiffin does every place he goes. builds something up, helps the people on the inside, then he leaves.
Well, in most places. It didn't happen at Tennessee. It didn't happen with the Raiders. Let's just say he leaves places in flames. At least at Old Miss he had some success.
But as of what, an hour ago? In his statement that he put out a couple days ago, and we talked about it yesterday, absolutely ridiculous. Elaine Kiffen in part of his statement talked about wanting to leave and move on. He had to pray about it. And then he said, You know, I wanted to stay and I wanted to coach through the playoff, even though I was leaving, makes no sense to me.
And then he blamed the athletic director. And then he said, My request to do so was denied by Keith Carter. The A D. Despite the team also asking him to allow me to keep coaching them.
so they could better maintain their high level of performance.
So he's basically saying, I wanted to stay in coach and The players wanted me to stay and coach too. Not not so fast. About an hour ago, while we're here on the air, Offensive lineman, and I think he's a part of the team's leadership committee. I think there's like 10 players in the committee. Bryson Sanders says End quotes.
despite the team asking me to keep coaching. Bryson Sanders says I think everyone that i that was in that room would disagree. Ouch. Oh, my goodness. The play is fight back.
Oh, it it doesn't stop there. Sunserine Perkins. He says in response to Lane Kiffin. They're all responding to him directly. to his comment on social media.
Perkins says That was not the message you said in the meeting room. everybody that was in there, Can vouch on this. I don't know. Maybe there's going to be 20 other players. who all come out and and pretty much repeat the same thing.
But it just all seemed like a load of crap anyway. And now you have his former players who are calling him out on his crap. Man, we don't want you in here. And so apparently he's he's trying to spin things. in his own way and and and how much of that would be Something that you don't believe.
I wasn't in the room. Bacho, are you in the room? No, but I'm hoping someone was in the room recording. Oh, okay. That'd be cool, wouldn't it be?
Yeah, invasion of privacy. Oxford. I don't know. Is it? Don't the rules vary in different locales?
Yeah, it's legal in New York. That I'm not I'm gonna Google it. It is illegal to record someone without them knowing, correct? In New York. It's illegal to have one-way recording without consent.
In New York? It's illegal, yes. I'm checking Oxford, though.
Okay.
I know here in Georgia I think you can record a one-way. Without cons without consent. I believe. An' so I think, yeah. Why are you trying to be messy?
Huh? What's your problem? I I I like drama. I'm just If we could record the conversation. We can see who's gonna lie.
And who's being honest?
So, if Lane Kiffen can put out a statement saying he said, all the guys wanted me to coach them, and he just said, Hey, I'm leaving, good luck, and left. That refutes what he says.
So I wouldn't mind. Being a recording. I hear that.
Well, I mean, based on his history. We know he's full of crap. The guy can't put his phone down. He's on social media. He's whining.
He's complaining. He's a troll. He's a. He's a this, he's a that, he's a all of the things. I'll allow you.
The listeners to go ahead and fill in the blanks. But this is how bad it is. If you had to ask me who do I believe? Lane Kiffen Or these athletes who basically said he's a liar. I'm believing the athletes.
I'm sorry. I mean, he has a history of showing of just being a jerk. Yes. Also, what do the players have to lose? Like, to lie about this?
Nothing. That's what I'm saying.
So I Personally, I think Kiffin would say something that's kind of misleading just because he needs to keep his reputation up at LSU and. not to disrupt the locker room saying, Hey, I know he's a new coach here, but what is he really like? Oh Yeah.
Well, welcome to the new world, man. This is uh Well, I didn't expect that, but it's it's been Tuesday. And so, I guess now that the college football playoff rankings are out, maybe the players wanted to get through that. We know that ole miss, they actually were rewarded for winning the Egg Bowl. They were not punished.
Despite the fact that Lane Kiffen moved on, Ole Miss is sitting at the number six spot. With the college football playoffs.
So, Ohio State is one, Indiana is two, Georgia is at three. A Texas Tech is at four. We know that Texas A and M fell out of this top four spot after they lost to Texas. We have the Oregon Ducks at five. Old Miss, I mentioned at six.
ANM, yeah, they lost. They fell all the way to seven. Oklahoma at eight. Alabama at nine. Notre Dame at ten and BYU at eleven.
And then we also know that we're going to have some uh conference championship group of five teams here. They're going to occupy the overall 11th and 12th seeds in the college football playoffs.
So we have no idea who that might be. Damn it, it could be James Madison. It's going to be. Very interesting. Maybe Tulane is in there.
We just have to wait and see how these college football Conference Championships. Bear out the rest of the week. I will also tell you this, and speaking of BYU. There have been a lot of rumors about Kalani Satake. Their coach who played for them and has been there for the past decade, has had a lot of success.
Damn it, they are 11-1 right now. There'd been a lot of words about whether or not he was gonna leave and go to Penn State. He's not he's the anti-Lane Kiffin. He's sticking around. I know a lot of people were happy when this report came through earlier today.
Listen, got some big breaking news to bring you out of college football. BYU coach Kalani Satake is expected to rebuff Penn State and stay with the Cougars. That is the latest from R Chris Hummer and Matt Zinitz. It's another setback for the Nittany Lions, who have just been going through coaching recruits, coaching potential over the weeks now. Obviously, trying to replace James Franklin.
Satake 83 and 44 in 10 seasons at BYU. He has the Cougars in the Big 12 Championship game for the first time after joining the league in 2023. They're going to take on Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship. How about that, an honorable head coach? And I'm being.
being a jerk a little bit. He's entitled to do what he wants to do. If he wanted to go to Penn State, then good for him. Right, but he's staying at home. He went to school at BYU and Helped bring them into the Big 12 with all of their success.
Good for him. It's nice sometimes when you see people stick around where they made their bones. It's nice. Anyway. I don't I don't wouldn't expect him to be lying on his way out the door.
But, Bacha, you said you like beef. Did you find out about the recording rules in Mississippi? Yes, I looked it up. You need at least one person to consent. in a recording of a of a rec uh conversation so the player who's recording 10 consent to saying to recording it.
Yeah, yeah, so it's legal. Yeah, it's legal, legal. Yes. They physically could have recorded the Lane Kiffen conversation. Yeah, and been fine.
Yeah, no problem.
Well, let's see if it uh If we get some sound. You know, it'd be cool if he got booed like, well not like Mike Tomlin got the other day. Um It'd be cool if he got booed in his own room. Yeah, get out. And then we then we get rumors that they didn't even allow them to speak.
Yeah, th I heard I saw rumors that like he said his announcement and then he just left early.
So it left like the A D and then their placements to like talk the the kids through it. Mm. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, ma how many how many words are you gonna allow him?
And who wants to hear him? Like let's let's really think about this. You stick this guy in a room. And he's really going to tell everybody, I'm leaving, I'm going to the other team.
Well, thank you guys. I'm gone. I'm passing the torch now. Who wants to deal with you at that point? Come on.
Yeah, no. Especially when it's arguably a rival nowadays, not like their biggest rival, but it's a rival. you basically are Fighting for top seed in the college bowl playoff. And it's just everything, bad timing. Yeah, everything has been Pretty much written in a cut and dry way, or at least Lane Kiffin has tried to.
you know, posit it that way. Oh, you know, oh, he tried to Take his coaches. No, I didn't put that time frame. Oh, he wanted to take his players, and players are going to join him. And it's like, ah, we don't know.
But one thing I do know I think most people would be upset if somebody just said, Screw you, I'm leaving. I'm leaving y'all high and dry, especially at this. this point of the season. as old Miss is on its way to the yard. the college football playoffs.
Uh Just sign me up. I mean, can we have every uh football player from Ole Miss Can they all put a message on social media saying this this was a lie? And then what? Lane Kiffen's gonna have to respond to that, right?
Well, he's not going to. That's in the past. I'm not going to go back and forth. You know, I wish them the best. I wish the city the best.
I wish the school the best. I wish the community the best. Like they ain't no use going in a back and forth. you know, with the people that you you left behind. It's it's useless.
At that point in time. And speaking of beef, I told you we got more beef coming up, okay? Ah. Michael Jordan is beefing with NASCAR? Serena Williams is beefing with uh reports about her return.
And Tiger Woods, apparently, he's just beefing with his body. But before we do anything. This man has beef.
Sonny Gray, you probably heard of him, you baseball fans. This man pitched for the athletics and got traded to the Yankees and Now he just, well, now I'm with the Yankees, got traded from the botcher. Where was he? Cincinnati? He was in St.
Louis. Or St. Louis. He's been everywhere. Yeah, he's been a lot of places.
Now he just got flipped to another team wearing red. is with the Red Sox now.
Now, when he originally got moved from the Yankees, well, bottom line, he got traded to the Yankees and he sucked. And he says the Yankees told him to change up his pitching repertoire and He says he hated it in New York and now he's a member of the Red Sox. And so now he has a pretty much a free ride. and to be in Boston and hate the Yankees. And this is what Sonny Gray had to say about hating The Bronx Bombers.
It feels good to me to go to a ple go to a place now where, you know what, it's easy to hate the Yankees, right? It's easy to go out and And and and and have that rivalry and And go and go in go in it with with full force, full steam ahead. I like the challenge. I appreciate the challenge. I accept the challenge.
But this time around, it's just go out and be yourself. Don't try to be anything other than yourself. If people don't like it, it is what it is. I am who I am. And I'm okay with that.
New York was, it just wasn't a good situation for me. It wasn't a great setup for me and my family. Um I never wanted to go there in the first place. When that was kind of happening. When we were in Oakland, and I was getting traded, that was a long time ago.
I never wanted to go there.
So then I was there and it just kind of like It just didn't really work for kind of who I am and Oh boy. Yeah. He sold himself a lot of jerseys today in Boston, okay? I know when he pitches against the New York Yankees them Yankee fans will give him hell. I know they don't throw batteries like they used to at the opposition, but he may catch a battery or two.
In Yankee Stadium. I'm not advocating violence. Don't throw batteries at Sonny Gray and blame me. But. Let's just say he's not going to be received with a a warm welcome.
Not at all. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you, Coast to Coastal and the Infinity Sports Network. Yeah, I guess we moved into the uh I hate you section. of the show. We talked about Mike Tomlin earlier.
And when we come back. Michael Jordan, a billionaire. Is not a fan of NASCAR. He's taking them to court about some of their business practices. Serena Williams, there's some thoughts that she might return.
She says otherwise. And then, what the hell is going on with Tiger Woods? Are we going to see Tiger Woods back out on the golf course? Tiger Woods gives us an update. We'll get into that on the other side.
Of course, we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. If you want to call up, you can. You can do that. Call me now, like Miss Cleo used to say, if you remember Miss Cleo. But she was a scammer.
I'm not a scammer. 888-710-4ISN. That's 8 at 8-710-4ISN. Uh that's right, Miss Cleo. And she was a scammer.

Man, we got a lot of people beefing out here. Beef everywhere. We got players beefing with the old coaches. Good lane kiffin deserves it. He does.
You got fans in Pittsburgh? booing Mike Tomlin and At least we got Satake. He's sticking around. That's the positive side of sports, right? He's staying at BYU.
But people are absolutely thrilled about that. How about this? I don't know about th Serena Williams, she's not thrilled with uh some rumors about her. Apparently Serena Williams, who's now forty four years old, Her name? Was reportedly put back into the testing agency, the drug testing agency, the pool.
This is for her to play tennis. And so this news was out here. And this afternoon, Serena Williams had to go, I ain't coming back. She went on social media and said, Oh my God, y'all, I am not coming back. of this wild fire is It's crazy.
I mean, we don't really have an an explanation as to why. you know, she was placed back in the uh the drug testing pool. And who knows? I don't know. All I see is Serena Williams on commercials about weight loss and.
Is she all of a sudden going to put all that muscle and weight back on?
So she go play tennis? I don't think so. That she'd rather just stay at home with her her husband and her family, her daughter, and and make some money. I don't know if she wants to go back out there. On the tennis court.
44 years old. Leave that to her sister. I know her sister is still out here playing. Shout outs to. Uh to Venus.
Also, I don't know about a return for this guy. I I think it's it's done. Uh we heard from Tiger Woods.
Okay, in Tiger Woods, this man had disc replacement surgery. Just a couple of months ago. This is second back surgery, I think, this year. It's his seventh back surgery overall. Bacher, you want your disc replaced?
My disc is fine right now. I would. But what you got? Your lumbar, like L5. Let's just pick one.
I'd like my L1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 all to be not touched as of now. All right. We can slide uh I don't know who we could put back there. Couple coasters. Yeah, no.
No, okay. The only thing I'll take is what what are those, like the gel shots? You want a shot in your. You want an epidural? You want a shot in your back?
No, I don't need one.
Okay.
But, like. Could it hurt? I don't know. Could it hurt you? You want to take calls on that?
I'm pretty sure we can get some good responses on that one, okay?
Well, the needle probably hurts, yes, but. The the feeling after is relief, isn't it? It's supposed to be. Ah, okay. All right, so you don't want a new disc back there.
Okay, all right. No. Speaking of birthdays, we know LeBron James is going to be 41. At the end of the month, Well, congratulations. Happy birthday to Aaron Rodgers.
He made it despite all that ayahuasca.
Well, he turned, what is he, 42 today, Aaron Rodgers? 42. He's 42 years old today. Good for him. And Tiger Woods turns 50 on December 30th.
This man has not played in a PGA Tour event. since last summer Blew out his Achilles in March. He is bionic. I be damned. Listen, if I blew out my Achilles, and needed two back surgeries in a year.
Man, I'd be laid up in bed.
Okay? I'd be laid up in bed. Maybe I'd well, that's illegal. Can't say that on the radio. Botcha, can I say I'd be walking in front of a bus on purpose?
Can I say that on the radio for insurance fraud? Can't say that, right? You technically could. I could.
Well, I didn't say it, so, but uh, yeah. I mean, d if you're gonna be busted up, you might as well go all the way, right? Butcher, y could Achilles You're basically all the way there already. You can't walk and you can't stand. But I'm like, at that point, I'm saying, you know what?
I just need a trifecta. I need another accident. I need a bus to run over my foot. I need to be re-ended. You know, I'm calling the insurance company tomorrow.
I'm saying, hey, it. I'm in a body cast right now. I need money. I'm not working a day in my life. Just send me money.
Anyway, uh Tiger Woods was in better spirits. Yeah, despite blowing out his leg. And his back, And he's okay.
Now this is what he had to say about his rehab. I just got cleared last week to chip and putt.
So it's good. It's been six weeks. Last Friday? And so it uh It's been slow. You can't really do much on a disc replacement.
You gotta let it set. Um can't really do much.
Now we got the okay to start. Started cranking up a little bit in the gym and started strengthening and started doing a little bit more rotational component that I hadn't been able to do. Just letting the disc kind of set. Oh my God. He makes it sound so normal.
Seven back surgeries. Come on. It stops swinging, man. I get it. This is your life.
What are you doing? Just practicing with your son? How much more is there to do? Blown Achilles, blown out back. It We know Tyka Wood's hobbies, and none of his hobbies are good.
Oh. Man. May well, this is why he was maybe this is why he was on all them them pain killing drugs. Damn. This doesn't explain the uh The sex ed botcha, does this explain the sex addition?
The diction, no. Probably not. No. But is that a side effect for something? Maybe.
Um. He was a sex addict because he had a bad back. His back was hurting. I don't know what some side effects are for some drugs.
Well He hurt himself, he hurt his body being a professional athlete. Let's go down this hole. Uh, anyway, Rolling Choice of words. The Rabbit Hole. He injured his body.
Being a professional athlete.
Okay.
Now, you have these surgeries. in procedures, then you turn to painkillers. But at what point in time do you get chased out of your house By your wife with a golf club and crash into a fire hydrant. When does that part happen? Rehab process, of course.
Okay.
Well, he went to rehab after. Right? That was after.
Well, probably, but I'm just saying like These injuries, too, you're basically away from your lifestyle, so you tend to. Go to different things. He found blonde women at rehab? I don't know, maybe. Look, he's doing all his rehab, and he got new discs in his back.
I hope it's not to come back, bro. I hope not. He was asked about his plans for playing. And this is what he said. Yeah, I'm probably gonna play probably 25 events on both tours.
Okay.
And I think that should cover most of the year, right? No. I'm just looking forward back to just, let me get back to playing again. I just want to let me do that, and then I'll kind of figure out what the schedule is going to be. I'm a ways away from that part of it and that type of decision, that type of commitment level.
Uh Unfortunately, I've been through this rehab process before, it's just step-by-step, and then once I get a feel for Practicing, exploding, playing the recovery process, then I can assess where I'm going to play and how much I'll play. This guy wants to just blow out his back on a swing and be buried under a tree. Like, I'm convinced. And look, I'm not a professional athlete. You know, I just.
He can't get it. It's what he's done his whole life. And so, what is Tiger Woods going to do? He can't just sit around the rest of his life and design golf courses and practice with his son. He wants to be out there playing.
I do not fault him. I'm making plenty of jokes. I'm being a jerk. I don't look. This is what he likes to do.
This is what he's done. This is what he's associated with. Amongst a few other things, what else he gonna do? Nothing. Marco Belletti.
What he got, they put a fake disc. And his back He's had seven surgeries. He had two back surgeries this year, and he blew out his Achilles. And he's like, I'm trying to get back to play. How about mini golf?
It's safer, right? Could that scratch the itch? Because if that's all this is. It's the itch to play. And you need to do this to your back to be able to scratch that itch.
You got to find another outlet. Like, I'm sorry. You know. Get it through the book the clown's mouth. Figure something else different because you can't do this.
You think that's disrespectful to Tiger Wiz, huh? He probably scoffs at mini golf. Everybody, I'm sure, does that probably actual golf? But it's just the idea that, like, look, and I think we all know this is not to come back to win the Masters.
So, like, we get that. If you were younger, I understand it. It's not to do that, it's just to play. Right? And I respect that.
But at one point is just to play. Worth one swing and you need another back surgery? Like, is it really worth it? Maybe, maybe because you've got enough money and it doesn't matter and you're okay with the rehab? Like, me personally, the hell with that.
Yeah, remember that time he flew off the cliff and he almost had to amputate his leg? Come on, man. What are we doing? Apparently, he does it because he has no regard for it. Like.
Look, he's the one going through the rehab, and it's not a joke. It's hard as hell. He's Robocop out here. Come on now. But he must, in some level, enjoy the rehab to put himself in harm's way to need.
The rehab. I heard enough when they said disc replacement.
Okay.
What year did they start disc replacement? How many years ago was this? I didn't hear about no, I don't know why we were talking about 1998. I think something about the Utah Jazz. I didn't hear about no disc replacement surgery in 1998.
Could you imagine having your disc replaced in 1978? No. What are they putting back there? You know, best some questions you don't want to answer. You don't really, really want to know what the hell is going on.
Yeah, you don't have. If you got to have your disc replaced in 197, they're going to say, hey, man, sit in that chair, bro. That's it. It's just there's no disc replacement, so I guess he got enough money. He's a billionaire, so he's just, I'm going to afford whatever I can afford.
I think that's part of it. And I guess we can't understand that mentality. Because, like, for you or me, it's like. The idea of going through all that and then you got to live your life and you got to possibly do it again, like, I don't want to do this. But if you've got the two things that I think I say this all the time, there's only two things that I think we all agree that we want.
I really, I don't know if there's any more. I want help. Not everybody does. Time, and money. There's the only two things that we all seem to agree on.
So he's got plenty of time, he's got plenty of money. If he wants to spend it. With a new disc in his back? And then adding three or four more? Go ahead.
Yeah, well, listen, the first artificial disc was approved by the FDA in 2004. Really? Yeah. Yeah, so pretty new.
So the goat came in like 96, and then we got new discs in like 04. That's not bad. Look, we know Tom Brady, we discussed it. Tom Brady cloned his dog, right? Mm-hmm.
And now we know Tom Brady. If he cloned his dog, he probably got Tom Brady cells sitting around somewhere ready to be cloned. We know Ted Williams is with his neck and his brain and his spinal cord is sitting around frozen somewhere. And we got Tiger Woods walking around with, you know, fake discs in his back so he could play golf again. I would bet that Tiger Woods is one of these guys.
He's like, you know what? I got enough money. I'm gonna be here forever.
Okay? Wait until we get Robo Tiger on the uh On the green, and I don't know. I'll be dead by then. 30-25. Tiger Woods will be back.
Okay.
Playing what version of Tom Brady in a celebrity golf classic? I don't know. Look. It's science, right? I'm not a scientist.
When my time is up, just leave me alone. I'm done. I'm clocking out. Assuming this Tom Brady is the same Tom Brady from 25 years ago, which we can neither confirm nor deny.
So, you know, we'll find out what comes down the line. You know what I mean? I've seen enough robot movies and futurama, so I know what the future holds. I. Have a good idea.
I was with someone last week. They were telling me flying cars are coming in five years. I said, Excuse me. I don't think so. I don't think so.
I'm with you. Check, please. I don't think so. If I see a flying car on the road, where in Albuquerque by itself? I don't know.
So, I don't know, but that one I actually want. Give me Doc Brown, give me Marty McFly. I want to see that. I want to see what the congestion is going to be on the expressway. I want it.
Oh, you you think we we have we have cleared air space for flying cars? No, but if we're going to make cars that fly, damn it, we better have a DeLorean. That's all that's all I'm saying. You're screwing up if you don't. I saw one of these food delivery robots outside.
It it tipped over the other day. It sipped o it sipped over and fell in the leaves. It tipped over. I wasn't gonna pick it up. I'm like, that's not my problem.
I'm like sued. Or for picking up the you don't know, you could probably be messing with all who know who knows how much money those things cost? You're messing with so much money, you don't even realize it. Yeah, a couple thou, I guess. I mean, the robotic cars we have here in Georgia, they're all Jaguars.
Each car probably got to be about, I don't know, 200 to 250. I I'm I'm I don't even want to touch the cameras that are in this room that I'm in. Never mind that kind of stuff. No chance. You're not getting in a driverless car?
Yeah, no, uh and I don't know. Maybe you can convince me on that one. I just don't feel great in a car when I'm not driving anyway. Never mind. And that's only because, not because I'm a control freak, I'm just always driving.
So I'm unit be unusual for me to be in a passenger seat, but then to look over as nobody's in it, you might freak me out a little. I'm not going to deny that. Yeah, it's a wild world. And speaking of driving, we come back. We'll talk about Michael Jordan.
He got beefed too. Michael Jordan is beefing with NASCAR. We'll get into that. We'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. But right now, what's going on in the world of sports?

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. It is the JR Sport Reshow here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. It's the end of the show. It's December 2nd, 2025. It's the birthday of Aaron Rodgers.
But right now, it's time to take a look back at a few things that took place this day in sports history. Shot back. Back in the days when I was young I'm not a kid anymore, but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again. It's time for this day in sports history. See, back in those days when we had radio and you couldn't see anything and it was primitive and lousy and we liked it.
The JR Sport Brief Show. I wish I was 50 years younger and I'd kick your ass. December 2nd, 1984, Dan Marino, he threw his 37th touchdown pass to break the NFL's single-season touchdown passing record. Let's go back in time to 1984. Got all the receivers, two to the far side, two to the near side.
Nathan is in as a blocker or as a receiver from the Raiders 4. Low snap again. Here's Barino. Wide open field. Throws for a touchdown and there's the right.
That's number 37. I'm not sure if I can do it.
Now, Buffalo will be a part of her treat. As a trivia question, who caught the record-breaking touchdown in the 1984 season number 37? Ronda Season breaks the all-time NFL record. Yeah, in 2013, Peyton Mannon said, screw that. Peyton Mannon threw 55.
December 2nd, 1991, Bobby Bonilla, he said, hey, New York Mets, give me money.
Okay, five-year deal, $29 million, and the New York Mets were then dumb enough to defer his cash. Forever, Bobby Bonilla Day. Listen to Bobby Bonilla talk about all the damn money he gets until he's dead. Yes. Yes, it does.
On an annual basis, July 1st, we have a party. Do we have a cake? Do we have a party? Yeah, but it's really amazing how I'm probably more famous for that deal than the career I had. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
This is not downgrading the great career. No, no. You are like one of the most famous money deals of all time. July 1st is Bobby Bonilla Day, and I like to say I play a part in it. But you are trending on Twitter every July 1st without fail.
Look man, he's getting paid until 2035. Yeah, the New York Mets are paying him until 2035. Bobby Bonillade, looking up. December 2nd. 1995, the Montreal Canadiens, well, they hated Patrick Watt.
They left him in the game too long. He gave up nine goals. He got his ass whooped 11-1 by the Red Wings. He then said, I went out. And then he ended up going to the Colorado Avalanche.
And he won the Stanley Cup that season. I mean, Canadians, it's terrible. Listen to this about Patrick Waffale getting pulled. And boys, finally, here comes Pat Jablonski and Patrick. Hey, it's not your fault.
Get out of there, get a rest, and get ready for the next game, and forget about this, baby. It's over. A rare night indeed at the Forum in Montreal. Patrick Law just went over and said something to Corey and I'm not so sure what it was, but he went right to him. That'll be even more of a story tomorrow, possibly.
Hey, the plot thickens. He stared down Mario Tromblé, then he went back and had some words to say to the president of the Canadians, Ronald Corey. And then Patrick went and took his seat at the end of the bench as Pat Jablonski went into the game. Right now he's in a race to see how quickly he can get his gear off and get out of here. I'll bet you.
Yeah. Damp. What a world. Hey, shout outs to my guy, Tim Brown.
Okay, this day, December 2nd, 2002. A Tim Brown. This man became the third player with 1,000 receptions and the third dude with 14,000 yards receiving. Shout out to my guy Tim Brown. Also, this day in sports history, December 2nd.
2009, the New Jersey Nets, they're still in New Jersey at that time. They got beat to hell, okay? They went ahead. And they lost to the Mavericks 117 to 101. It was their 18th straight loss to start the season.
And the nuts are bad, but they're not as bad as they were. That and there you have it, folks. A few things that took place this day. In sports history. Let's talk about something going on right now.
We talked about beef. You got old Miss Players mad at Lane Kiffen for leaving and basically calling him a liar. Michael Jordan, he's mad at NASCAR. He's like, yo, I want to race my cars, but I don't want to pay all this damn money. You ain't getting over on me.
I'm a billionaire. I'm Michael Jordan. I do what I want. Listen to this report from KVUE on Michael Jordan's beef with NASCAR. A legal battle between Michael Jordan and NASCAR.
The antitrust lawsuit could reshape racing as we know it. ABC's Sophie Flay has the details. Let's go! This morning, a lawsuit that could reshape the world of auto racing. NBA legend Michael Jordan is taking NASCAR to federal court, claiming it's a monopoly.
If I have to fight this to the end, For the betterment of the sport, I will do that. Jordan co-owns a NASCAR team with driver Denny Hamlin. Last year, 13 of the 15 NASCAR teams signed a new deal with the racing company that determines revenue payouts. Jordan's team was one of two refusing to sign on and accuses NASCAR of restricting team revenues and independence. NASCAR insists it's done nothing anti-competitive in building the sport from the ground up since 1948.
And it says the new deal has boosted payouts to teams. Even though they try to point out that we made some money. We had a successful business. That's not the point. The point is that the sport itself needs to continually change for the better, for the fans, as well as for the teams, as well as for NASCAR, too, if they understand that.
Michael Jordan basically said, Listen, man, y'all ain't gonna screw me over on Michael Jordan. I need to make some money here. And this system is antiquated. You ain't gonna screw me. Hey, I hope Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin wins, okay?
Anyway. Those are a few things that took place in sports history. That's something happening today. Anyway, hey, thank you so much to Jerry Palm for coming through to talk to us about the College football playoff rankings. Thank you to Kyle Hightower joining us to talk about the Patriots.
Thank you to Will Graves as well. You're having a chat with us about the Steelers. All right. We'll be back with you tomorrow, 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 Pacific.
Of course, we're going to have a new top six list for you. And I already know what it's gonna be. I'm going to talk about the top six list. Of hated coaches of all time. Who are some of the most hated coaches of all time?
Hey, that top six is coming your way tomorrow. The JR Sport Brief Show here on the Infinity Sports Network is done. Don't move, don't go anywhere. My main man, David Shepard, is in for Bart Winkler here on the Infinity Sports Network. JR Sport Brief Show done.
