Tennessee Titans look like trash because they are. Arch Manning responding to people who say he looks like trash. We'll get into Arch Manning before we get out of here this evening. NFL is wide open. Got to appreciate it.
The Dodgers and Brewers. We just talked about that game one performance last night by Blake Snell. Dodgers are up 1-0. First pitch is in about eight to ten minutes. Let's see if Yamamoto can help the Dodgers go up two O.
Against the brew crew. We'll keep you up to date on that game when it gets started. We got hub archish. From 670 the score. knows all things Chicago Bears.
He's going to come through and have a chat with us in 20 minutes. Rashi Rice is on his way back to the Kansas City Chiefs. CJ Gardner Johnson just got to the Ravens. He's out. Joe Missoula is crazy.
This man had the media. play against The coaches today. It it was just a wild it's been a wild day. Of course, at the end of the show, we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. We got a lot going on.

There is no A show. As I stand here in the studio, Waiting for the first pitch. Waiting for this game to get started between the Dodgers and the Brewers. Let's see let let's see who gets some uh runs up on the board. A 2-1 score last night.
Some good defensive plays and stops, and we had a Freddie Freeman home run and a ridiculous performance from Snell. I would imagine that we'll get some more offense tonight from both teams. And so we'll keep you up to date. Won the Dodgers and Brewers game two. And if the Dodgers, excuse me, if the Brewers don't win this one.
It's going to be similar to what we have in the American League Championship Series: a 2-0 lead. Oh yeah, I I'd be feeling good. Going back home. The Mariners go home tomorrow with the 2-0 lead. And the same thing for the Dodgers if if they can get this victory tonight.
In Milwaukee. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. Alex. He's here from Miami, Florida.
You're on the JR Sport Brief. Show us up, Alex. Hey, Jay, I was good. I'm terrific. What's on your mind?
Yeah, I just wanted to discuss the the way I feel about the the playoffs. I'm going to take the American League first. When it comes to the American League, I think that Toronto Blue Jays exceeded their expectations. They've had a real good season.
However, the Seattle Mariners have a lot of pop in their lineup and they have superior pitching So I think uh pretty soon uh the run for the Toronto Blue Jays is going to end. But I do want to give the Toronto Blue Days a lot of props because they really had a good year And they came a long way. No, absolutely. And I mean, this is a few years coming for the Toronto Blue Jays. I mean, typically, you think about the Yankees going out there and winning the American League East.
The Blue Jays have waited for a lot of the young players to kind of step up and elevate. But as you mentioned, the Mariners have had great pitching for years, and this year they finally went ahead and added the bats.
So I think it's. I think it's due time for the Mariners to advance. I agree with you on that one. Yes, the only reason the Manders didn't make it farther last year was because of their bats. They brought in Egremartinez to try to straighten them out.
But Yep. you know, the lineup didn't produce enough runs, but if it wasn't because of that, they would have definitely made it into the playoffs. But let's see how it goes. I think going to the World Series In the American League, we're going to see we're going to see the Seattle Mariners. When it comes to the National League, The Dodgers are a superior team, let's face it.
Um The key to the Dodgers um Winning the series is that their starting pitching goes deep into games, they have to be able to minimize. Mm-hmm. their weakness to minimize the fact that they use their middle relief. If the starters go deep into games, I think that it's going to be a short series. You got to remember that The Philadelphia Phillies match up well against the Dodgers as far as the fact that.
They had the three big left-handers being a Christopher Sanchez. Luzardo and Ranger Suarez, and they were able to neutralize Oltani, they were able to neutralize Freeman and also Muncie. where we all know That um now they don't have that going against them.
So I think Um If the Dodgers are starting pitching, go deep into games, it's going to be a very short series, and we're going to see the Seattle Mariners and the LA Dodgers in the World Series.
So let's see what happens. Let's see you. Looks like all west coast. I don't disagree. I mean, I take a look at the Dodgers and I see an embarrassment of riches.
I mean, you're talking about not. Getting into the bullpen, I mean, one of the big questions heading into the postseason for the Dodgers were what the hell are we going to do with all of these starters? I mean, it's one thing to go through the regular season and you got guys who drop like flies and half them as starts. I mean, relying on glass now throughout an entire season is probably an exercise in futility, but it looks like he's going to get another start here in the World Series. Damn it, he might be the guy to close things out.
It looks like he's going to get the start after Shohei Otani in game number four.
So is this music to the ears of Major League Baseball? Seattle versus Los Angeles, all West Coast? Probably not. But I I think that's the way things are going to look. It might not be the best thing for the TV ratings or for baseball.
But I think that That's what's going to happen. I might be wrong. but I think we're going to have a West Coast World Series. It l looks like it, Alex.
Well, thank you for calling from Miami. You're welcome. All right. Shout outs to Alex calling from the MIA. Yeah, he's a long way, Mike.
That's got to be the longest flight. In the country, oh, think about it. Miami to Seattle. Bach, I'm gonna just say that is a Six, six and a half hour flight. What are you for?
Yeah. Seven? No, eight? Probably eight. I'm gonna double check.
I might as well go to the middle of Europe. Let's see, Miami to Seattle. Length of flight. Let's see. Six and a half I'm going.
Yeah, I was about you. I was right. Come on now. 645, and then you get the boarding, and then you get the delayed takeoff. Maybe a transfer because I don't know how many straight shots are a non-stop flight from Miami to Seattle.
Takes approximately five hours and fifty minutes to to six hours and twenty minutes, depending on which direction you're going in. Yeah, about six hours give or take, six thirty, yeah. Six thirty. That's true. Eh, it's way too far for me.
Eight hours. What's the longest you'll go on a plane? I just, I'm trying to send you to Germany to wear the leader host. I went to Ireland, so it can't be that. It was pretty I was young though.
Come on.
So what did you do? You fell asleep and played Game Boy? What did you do? That night we left. I do remember it was like a torrential downpour.
So our flight was delayed by like an hour and a half, but we were already on the the tarmac.
So it was like We were stuck. But uh yeah, it wasn't that bad. I think I passed out. Yeah, those flights are typically late because they want to get you to Europe in the morning.
So you leave late. coming from America. and you arrive early in the morning. And so that way you're kind of ahead of things. I mean, when you get to Europe, you're really ahead, probably anywhere from about five to six hours ahead, five to eight hours, depending on where you are.
Um It's a good thing. You'll be eyebotcher. You just slept through the night, so you'll you'll be okay. Come on, man. That's all I remember.
Went to the Guinness uh Brewery. Excuse me? Yeah, they did tours. You said you were a child? Yeah, I was a child.
I didn't drink any of it. Oh, okay. I could smell it. And I think I think at when we got to like the uh the end of the tour, right? They give like the parents and the people of age A glass of Guinness, and then the kids got like, I don't remember, it was like a cookie or something.
Oh my god. No, okay, all right.
Well, listen, I mean, there's certain parts of the world where they are not shy about giving a. Children alcohol. No. Yeah, but I was like six.
So like There's babies that get a little little wand to go to sleep, okay? Yeah. Not me, though. Yeah, not well. Here you are.
Here you are today.
So it apparently is all worked out. Who the hell is this muscled Hey, I think. Who's that guy? I think I remember who it is. Who's that guy?
Did you see that guy hyping up the Brewers crowd? I didn't. Uh There was a guy he went to I think he went overseas. He played in Korea. He used to hit the home runs and he came.
He was Derek Thames? Was that him? Eric Thames was the guy that went to Korea. With the super muscles? Yeah, that's him.
I think that was just him in the background hyping up. the crowd. Let let's see what was that him? Oh, no, he all everything that's coming in is uh Brewers alumni home run derby.
So maybe that was him. I'm just like, there's only one guy. Chris Fuler, maybe. Muscles? Ah, okay, so it's Eric Thames.
It's gotta be him. Has to be. Has to be. I think uh Come on. And Prince Field of lost weight.
He's not even is he still is he still a big dude? I don't think so. He's he's a lot skinnier than he was playing, but I don't think he's like muscular or anything. Yeah, but well He was he just big as hell. Runs in the runs in the family.
I'm trying to figure out.
Well, I haven't seen it trending yet, but it I don't I've never seen anybody look like that that doesn't play, so. I'm guessing that was. Here we got Shaw Hayotani at the plate. Freddy Perolto with the uh The first pitch, and we're off to the races.
So, we'll keep you up to date on the Brewers and the Dodgers. As they continue on, the Brewers are trying to avoid an O-2 hole. And the Dodgers are trying to go back to Los Angeles ahead of 2-0. It's kinda crazy how fast things are moving here. already in the Major League Baseball playoffs.
I mean, we're gonna get to next week. And then we're going to have the the NBA. Getting their regular season started.
So, how about this next week? And we discussed this a couple of days ago. LeBron James is dealing with sciatica. in his leg, his back, it's dragging. He's probably not going to be available when the Lakers Take on the Golden State Warriors to open up their season.
But I guess LeBron James is good enough to uh to do podcasts and sell Hennessy. And and why not when you're Getting ready to be botched. Is he going to be 41, really? Yep, 100%. And that's crazy to think about.
You think he's just kinda chillin' anyway? Like he's If he really wanted to go out there and play. And they, you know, Shams has announced that this is something that has been bothering him over the summer. Like That got to be a little bit of a cause for concern. But do you think he's taking things slow here and just Gearing up like ye this has to be intentional to a certain degree.
Yeah, I don't think he's I think this was the playoffs. he might have gone and played with the sciatica, but There's no reason to, especially in the NBA. Or if you're basically have any type of heartbeat on your team, you make the playoff.
So it doesn't doesn't matter if he plays the first ten games.
So I think he's just taking it. as slow as he can. Make sure he's 110% healthy. And then we'll get back to it.
Well, LeBron James, I would assume he's going to. The magic number for any of these awards, not that LeBron needs an award. But I assume he wants to be a part of this uh I think that also counts for the all-NBA squads as well. You have to play 66 games. And maybe LeBron James has reached a point where he's just like, I don't care about none of these accolades and awards.
He's going to be voted in as an all-star if he plays, I don't know, 20-something, 30-odd games.
So that's pretty much an automatic at this point in time. But while he's just, I guess, healing his ass, LeBron James is sitting on it doing podcasts. He was on his wife's podcast. Everybody's crazy. And LeBron James has now been playing basketball for going on 23 seasons.
He is a billionaire. He likes to tell everybody he doesn't have any money. LeBron actually talked about His circumstances and getting money and trying to keep it.
Well, thank you, LeBron, for the financial advice. You know, listen to what this guy said. You know, I have a lot of friends that's more risky. I have obviously some friends that's less risky, but for me, like. I'm talking to my business partners and shit like that.
you know, financial advisors. Yeah. Accountants, all that type of My my financial advisor. First thing I told him when he wanted to manage my money, I said, If you steal my money, bro, or I'm broke, bro, I'm letting you know, bro, it ain't gonna be good for you. I swear to God, I really was like that.
Like, I'm really like that because I can't. I can't start over.
Okay. None of us sitting here can start over. I'm not going. Too late. I'm not monopoly in this.
I'm not. Starting back at at PassGo, you collect two hundred dollars and start back at Go. No. too far gone at this point.
Well, I mean, when was this? Two thousand three? Like at what point in d in time did LeBron James have to sit down with a guy? And just go, hey, if you rob me, it's not going to be good for you. Like, what point?
This couldn't have. Botch, there's gotta be what? 20 years ago he said this to a guy? 25 years ago? He might have been in high school for all we know.
Yeah, when he was driving that Hummer. Yeah, but I I The way he made it seem in the podcast was like, they were talking about like the biggest regrets and whatnot.
So Savannah's like, yeah, I kind of take biggest risk. He was like, biggest risk, getting pregnant at 18. I was like, okay. And then LeBron says this. I'm like putting money in the other person's hand.
I'm like, okay.
So uh it had to be young. Yeah, well he was he was a teenager when he got that Nike deal. He was 18 years old. Nike said, Hey, His $90 million. I mean, if you are, you know, short hail tiny, maybe you just lose that in your sleep to your interpreter.
But at least LeBron James speaks English. He didn't have to worry about anybody stealing his coin. Thank God LeBron made it over the past 20 years. He's a billionaire. I don't think he has to worry about going broke ever in his life.
I think there are quite a few generations of the James family. They don't got to worry about going broke. Thank you, LeBron. for the financial advice. Maybe we'll get some more financial advice every week.
Now that he has a little bit of time on his hands, as he stretches out his sciatic nerve. Good luck to LeBron James. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you, coast to coast, on the Infinity Sports Network. We're going to take a break. When we come back, We're going to have a conversation.

The JR Sport Brief Show here with you, coast to coast. On the Infinity Sports Network. There's a lot of parody in the NFL this season. And one team, well, their fans are looking for a little bit more than parody this year. They're looking for a future, happens to be the Chicago Bears.
They're currently on a three-game winning streak. Last night, the country saw the Bears go out there and beat Washington 25-24. It took a field goal. It was the same score, ironically, from the week before, before the bye week against Las Vegas. Are these Cubs, or not the Cubs, there's so much baseball in front of me, are these Bears?
Well, on the upswing, what is Ben Johnson looking like after opening up the season? Owen too. What about Caleb Williams? Is he looking firmly entrenched as the quarterback? Of the future.
Joining us right now to talk about the Bears is someone who covers all things, Chicago Bears. Also, you can catch them on 670. The score in Chicago, it is Hub Arkish. Hubb, how are you? I'm doing good.
How are you doing tonight? I'm good. Thank you for the time.
Well, I told you about some of the positive things that have been taking place for these Chicago Bears. First, what are your thoughts on Ben Johnson? You know, kind of moving on from that two-game losing streak to start this season till now.
Well, he's been impressive so far. You know, he's a young head coach. He's a young head coach as a head coach. He's young, period. And he's just settling into all of this.
And those first two losses were to two of the best teams in the league.
So you can't make too much of that. You got to bounce back. They're now playing teams. You know, that their rosters are more equal with and they're beating them. You know, they're going slowly.
But, you know, new head coach. overturned various parts of the roster during the offseason. A lot of young talent on this team.
So it was always going to take time. And I think what's been interesting about the NFL this year, through the first six weeks, is that Everybody seems to be figuring themselves out. You know, there's very few. The teams that we thought were at the top are getting beat. The teams that we thought were at the bottom are starting to win games.
It's a very balanced league right now.
Now, there's still going to be four or five, six teams at the end of the day who are clearly a notch above the rest. But we really don't know who those teams are yet. And the Bearers are just trying to win games a week at a time. And what I've seen of them going to practice every day and watching the team is you can see the improvement as they continue to get more comfortable in Ben Johnson's system. And that's really what's happening for them right now.
Or Hub, no one needs to be more comfortable in his system than the quarterback and Caleb Williams. There was a lot made last year after the. Otherworldly performance by Jaden Daniels almost getting his team to the Super Bowl. What have you seen from Caleb Williams as a quarterback from last year to now?
Well, I'm impressed, but quite frankly, I'm not seeing a tremendous difference. I thought he was. Very unfairly evaluated last year as a rookie. You know, yeah, they were five and whatever, you know, but he didn't lose all those games. You look at his numbers and his performance.
He played very well as a rookie quarterback. He just didn't have the talent around him or with coaching changes in midseason and then coordinator changes, just so much going on. But now this year, he's in a very stable situation with a lot of upgrades to the roster. And with what appears to be and again, I don't want to jump on the Ben Johnson bandwagon too soon, but what he's done in the first five weeks is pretty impressive. And at least there's consistency here.
He definitely is doing a better job than Matt Eberfus was doing last year, and that's really helping Caleb Williams. And so, you know, I think Williams is who everybody thought he was when he won the Heisman in 22 and when the Bears drafted him, you know, with the number one overall pick. and still looks to me like a guy who is going to be a franchise quarterback for quite some time. Hub Arkish is here with us from a 670 to score. Also, catch him on Westwood 1.
We know that the Chicago Bears, their hallmark, the expectation from their fans. Is defense, defense, defense. Not necessarily the case as it stands right now. What is your evaluation on the Bears' defense? They've given up a lot of points so far.
Well, they have, but it is also their defense that has pretty much won these three games for them and is still the better group on this team.
Now, I think by midseason or the end of the season, the offense may be playing even as well or better than the defense. But right now, you know, when you think of defense from the Chicago Bears, you think of the 85 Bears. You think of one of the greatest defenses, maybe the greatest defense of all time. And that's what they're going to be compared to.
Now, they're not there yet. They're not anywhere near there yet. They're not really, you know, at this point, a top 10 defense in the league. Although statistically, they were last year. And I suspect, you know, the statistics are all screwed up now because with teams taking buys, you know, you look at those stats and they're not really as meaningful as they can be when all teams have played the same number of games.
But the bottom line, the Bears defense has played pretty well. They've got the talent to play much better. They've had a lot of injuries on defense. They just got a couple guys back. Last night.
And so I think if they get healthy and as they continue to evolve, it's going to be a pretty good group. Um What's interesting about the Bears right now is that they're growing at the same pace on both sides of the football. And we're still waiting to see who this team is by the time we get to week 12, week 14. But we know that the arrow is pointing up right now. But we know the NFC North is ridiculously competitive.
We have Detroit still one of the highest scoring offenses in the entire NFL. Minnesota certainly taking a little bit of a hit in the evaluation of J.J. McCarthy with his injury. Green Bay is some big expectations, especially now that they've helped their defense with Michael Parsons. How do the Chicago Bears fit in with this NFC North?
Well, I think they fit right in. I mean, you look at it, go back to last year. They had both the Lions and the Vikings beat, and they let those games get away with it. When you go back to the two games at the start of the season, they had the first one one and they let that one get away.
So they're playing with these teams, you know, and there's no question that they fit in.
Now they don't have as much talent yet as the other three teams, or at least not as much developed talent. Of the other three teams. But to be honest with you, I think the Packers are a little overrated right now. And that's not just a Bears guy talking about the Packers. That's evaluating that roster and where they're at.
I'm still, you can't not like Jordan Love, but you still need to see a lot more of him before you go with the franchise quarterback tag, you know. And you look at the division, as good as some of these teams are. They really well, not with Jared Goff, but you look at the Vikings with McCarthy and the injuries, you know, and you look at love still developing. They may have. four franchise quarterbacks by the time they're through.
But right now, we only know that Goff is the one who can play at that level. And so that that's what I think is going on in the division. It's both these teams reaching their peaks and these quarterbacks getting to their peaks. And that's going to take a little more time.
So Hub, what would you consider to be a successful season for the Chicago Bears? I mean, is this going to be the best of it, a three game winning streak and maybe they get a wild card? What's the best case scenario for them, realistically?
Well, it's hard to say because the schedule really isn't that tough except for the NFC North. And they've got two of those games out of the way already. They'll be better when they play those two teams again. They've still got two left against the Packers. But the bottom line is that when you look at the schedule and where they're at right now at three and two, I I said going into the season I expect them to win eight or nine games, and I don't think there's any reason that they won't.
And coming off of five and twelve season, that would be a you know, pretty good next, you know, turnaround. Oh, Hub, I know you're on 670, the score in Chicago. I know you contribute to Westwood. What is the fan sentiment about the Chicago Bears as it stands right now? I know for a while it was people who were upset at Ben Johnson.
I'm just like, the guy just got here. Give him a break. What is the overall sentiment amongst the team, or for the team? You know, if you try and evaluate the majority of them, I think it's pretty positive right now. Even at 0-2, everybody knew what those first two games were.
They were waiting to see. And now that they see the way that the team is coming together and the way they're playing, There is starting to be a fairly positive feel here in Chicago. And again, when you do a fair evaluation of Caleb Williams, then you realize he still has a lot of work to do. You still don't know what you've got there. Have you finally got the guy that Chicago's been waiting for for 45 years?
I did their games on the radio for 18 years, then I went and did the Sunday Night Game of the Week for 18 years. I was covering all the big games. The Bears have never had a franchise quarterback in all those years. And how many have they gone through? And so that's what really still has everybody kind of on hold.
You know, they've got to get to the next level. with Williams before you know what to expect. But I think the attitude is definitely positive right now. I think people are feeling good and feeling better each week, obviously, as you pile up wins.
Now, if they put two or three more in a row, now you're looking at a five, six game win streak, then I think they're going to be going nuts a little bit here in Chicago. Hey, listen, the Bears fans are certainly deserving of some positive football that can make them. Go a little crazy, feel optimistic. Hub, we appreciate the time. Where can people follow you, keep up with you, all your work, listen, all the good things?
Well, you've pretty much said it, you know, on the radio and with Pro Football Weekly and our Pro Football Weekly TV show, and still doing all the same stuff, just doing a little less of it as I get to be one of those older guys. One of those older guys? Come on, what does that mean?
Well, it means, you know, almost fifty years in the business makes me an older guy.
Okay. Young at heart.

No doubt about it. Thank you so much to Hub Arkish for joining us. Pro Football Weekly, 670 to score. And Westwood won I'm glad because the Chicago Bears fans, man, they are tough. They're tough.
They used to defense. They never had a quarterback. It's tough.
So I'm hoping that Caleb Williams can be the guy. I agree with Hubb. Yeah. I think he's going to be around for a long time. And I don't even think he's, of course, is only year number two.
Some guys are shot out of a rocket. A dude like Jaden Daniels, and some guys you gotta. Gotta buy your time. And so I think as he continues to progress, He's going to be better. I'm happy for the fans of the Bears.
This year is not the year. But Progress is a slow process. You make your next move, your best move. Everything will be smooth. It's the JR Sport Reeshow on the Infinity Sports Network.

And thank you so much to Hub Arkish for joining us from 670 the score in Chicago. He feels good about where the Chicago Bears are going. He thinks that they have a franchise quarterback and Caleb Williams. He's impressed overall by Ben Johnson. I think the Chicago Bears are on the up and up.
There's so much parody right now. In the NFL, nobody's looking at the Chicago Bears to just wake up and win the Super Bowl. But I think they're putting a a solid foundation. into the ground as they try to move forward. forward.
Uh damn it, we just got an update.
Well, in the sports well, well, everything going on in sports today from Rich Ackerman.
Well, the Dodgers have just put another run. Up on the board. The Dodgers now lead Milwaukee. Two to one. Unfortunately for them.
Looks like they're having some problems on defense right now. The Brewers have one guy on and one guy out, so they're trying to answer back. And we already have the same score. That we have last night. Blake Snell throwing a gem, eight innings, ten strikeouts, no walks, and one hit.
The final score last night was 2-1. That's what the Dodgers score is right now. The Dodgers lead the Brewers 2-1. They are in the second inning.
So we looks like we're going to see some more offense. We'll keep you up to date on the game as it continues to roll on. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. Let's call up Skip.
Well, let's get on Skip. Skip is calling us from New Jersey. You're on the J.R. Sport Brief show. Skip what's on your mind.
Hey, Jared, good to talk to you.
Well, good to have you here. What's up? I really uh Who was that guy, Stake, who was talking about the Falcons? His name's Stake. His name is Stake, sure is.
I was uh so last I I haven't only been gambling for like maybe a little over a year. I didn't even start gambling until middle through last year, and I just play small bits here and there. And When I saw the Falcons, they were plus four point five, I took that and that was a great victory and I just wanted to say how much more I enjoy watching football Having just a little bit of money, not a lot, just a little. Like, I don't think. I could handle betting $100 on a game.
But a $5 bet here, a $5 bet there, it's really fun. What do you think about that? Exactly.
Well there's a lot of people who have a a lot more than a little skin in the game. They were still mickled in.
Well, listen, Phil Mickelson, he might have a problem. There's a clip that.
Well, yeah, we know. There's a clip that I saw last week. It's Paolo Boncaro from the Orlando Magic. I don't know the circumstances of the game because it's a preseason game. But there was a fan recording Paolo on the sidelines, sitting sitting first row at at the court.
And he's yelling at Paolo, Hey, I need two more points, and then, you know, I hit my parlay. No. Yeah, and Paulo Boncaro barks back at him. He's like, Bro. It's preseason.
You got a gambling problem. And then he just ignored him after that and went around playing ball.
So. I mean, we know that there are horror stories out here when it comes to people gambling. Um you know, we got players who gamble, they've gotten in trouble, so Look, it's two players fixing matches. Uh-oh.
Well, if you can make money, Skip. And you don't end up out of house and a home. Then I I see no harm in it.
Okay. I appreciate it. Thanks, JR. Thank you. If you win enough money, send some to me, okay?
Oh, sure. It'd be like $75. Listen, I'll take it. Hey, listen, that's a good lunch for me. I could work with $75, okay.
All right, bro. Take it easy, man. You as well. Shout outs to Skip for Calla from New Jersey. He's like only $75?
Hey, Bacha, can you go to eat with $75? That could meal prep me for, I don't know, three weeks?
Okay. Meal pro for three weeks? Two weeks. What the heck are you prep what are you preparing to eat? No, so I make like breakfast burrutos.
So I buy I buy like I don't know, it's like I think it's three pound of turkey chop meat.
Some eggs.
Some cheese.
Okay. Tortillas.
So it can work. And that's what you eat every day? Yeah, every day. Monday to Friday, I have that. Damn, bro.
Damn. I'd be sick of making you make it fresh every morning, huh? Not no, I make 'em. Once one day and then I air fry 'em. The air fryer like kind of masks The refrigerator.
Okay, look at Shu.
Okay. You when when's the cookbook coming out? Oh no, this is like the basic stuff. This is like I don't want to make peanut butter and jelly, mac and cheese, cereal. And these.
Okay, and that's the diet.
So I guess, yeah, I guess you could live off of that for three weeks. Why not? Yeah. I mean, pasta's not expensive for now.
Well they start hitting uh hitting us with taxes for for pasta, I don't know. Uh 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. Let's go from New Jersey. to Boise, Idaho.
Let's talk to Trent. Trent, you're on the JR Sport Re Show. What's on your mind? Hey, how's it going, JR? Thank you for the call.
I appreciate it. I really want to talk to you about. The Chargers and Colts game this Sunday could be one of the biggest games of the week. Who you got in that one? And by the way, be prepared for the Chargers yellow out and all the all-yellow uniforms this week.
Who you got in that game? Man, I haven't put any thoughts into that game. You think I'm just sitting around thinking about the Colts and the Chargers? I'll put it to you this way. As an overall, the Colts are are are five and one.
I know that Daniel Jones is not turned into a pumpkin yet. You got to pray for the health of Jonathan Taylor. I'm not high on the Colts as it exists this season, just flattened, period. I think it uh matter of fact, if I have to take a a long view. And a long-term look at either one of these teams, I would feel much more confident in the Chargers to do anything.
Because they have Justin Herbert. And I know there's points in time when Justin Herbert. People are like, ah, he's not in that upper echelon.
Sometimes he looks good.
Sometimes it's like, what is he doing? I feel overall more comfortable with the Chargers than the Colts at any point, really. Gotcha. Thank you. Thank you for the call again, JR.
And as always, have a good day. Oh, thank you so much, Trent, for calling from Boise. And he's telling me in-law, and I get it, it's the Colts. DuCults, it's not the Steelers of the Cowboys. I mean, to Colts fans, they're not all over the country.
Do they travel like some of these other teams?
Okay, we can go ahead and put any squad in Los Angeles. or any visiting squad in LA. We know that there's going to be tons of opposition. Bacha, did he say it's going to be a yellow out? Is that what it is?
Yeah, I think they're wearing all-yellow jerseys, he said. Oh, boy.
So that's going to be very ugly. Yeah, I get it. If they go baby blue, cool. ghost the traditional whites or Whatever you want to do, but all yellow is probably the worst decision they could have made. All yellow.
Do you remember when a couple years ago, Thursday night football, the teams would run out there looking like highlighters? Oh yeah. I and then there was one night, I think color rush. Yeah, the Bills and the Jets were red and green. And I'm colorblind.
So it's like the jerseys looked identical. To colorblind people. Was it the Jets? There was another team. It was like they were wearing two different variations of red.
It's like, what am I looking at right now? You know, I don't know. Yeah, I feel like we'ren't. It wasn't the Panthers. Panthers were blue.
The pool full blue. But either way, that was a terrible idea. There comes a point in time where these professional sports teams have to stop screwing around with different colorways. I mean,. Like the NBA, and they adjusted it, I think, a little bit last year.
when they have to play in tournaments like for instance the Chicago Bulls Court. To be blood red on television is just one of the most horrific things. to ever look at.
So. I don't know. Maybe the NBA will have uh adjusted that again. This year. 888-710-4ISN.
That's 888-710-4ISN. Uh let's go from Boise, Idaho. to Delaware. Let's talk to Fran. Fran, you're on the JR Sport Brief Show.
What's going on? Hi, JR. Thanks for taking my call. Jenner, I need your opinion, please, on the bye week for the Baltimore Raven. A lot of the local talk here is that Um Steve Bishotti, the owner, is going to stick with Harball Uh throughout the whole season.
Yeah. And and then um What I'm hearing is They're trying to sell the fact that once Lamar comes back after the buy, that. at one in five, they still have a chance to make the playoffs. I I I really need Yeah, I need you to talk me off the The ledger one and five. What is your opinion here?
Well, I think the Baltimore Ravens are cooked this year. Of course, they are not completely eliminated from postseason contention, but I don't think it's good. I mean, you know as well as I do that Lamar Jackson expected back following the buy as well as Roquan Smith. And shout outs to everybody listening on 1057 The Fan in Baltimore. Uh but to go back to one of your first points.
What is firing harbar? What would that accomplish like right now, today, throughout the Bible? Like, what would that do?
Well, in my personal opinion, they've turned him off. I mean, except for Tomlins, he is the longest tenured coach in the league. Correct. They have turned him off to the point where when you don't play hard for your head coach anymore, I I mean, look. is the flesh wounds or the You know, soft tissue injuries for real.
I mean, you know, when you come to, listen now, listen to me. When you come to the realization. That These players. And this is similar to the NBA and similar to MLD, when your best players that are making two hundred eighty five million dollars guaranteed. with Lamar.
have The wherewithal to say, you know what, The only way that I can send a message to Steve Bishotti is to. Sit down for a couple of minutes. I don't think so. I think, no, I don't. I don't know, dude.
Well, let me answer, Fred. I'm trying to answer you. Thank you. Go ahead. I don't think so.
I think if you're Lamar Jackson, God bless him, he's been relatively healthy over the past couple of seasons following leg issues, concussions, and what have you. It's good that he's been out there. I don't think he does not want to play football.
Okay, and if you think about Harbaugh, Harbaugh has been his biggest violence. vocal and public supporter. Over the past several seasons. Every time that we head into a season, hey, we've built this guy up. I think he's going to be the greatest quarterback ever.
And when you think about it, start thinking about some of the stupid stats that people look at, the QBR quarterback rating and what have you. A turnover or excuse me, touchdown to turnover ratio. He has started to do that in that space. And so Harbaugh has been a champion.
So I really find it difficult to believe that a guy like Lamar Jackson would just go, you know what, I'm sick of this guy, we're not winning. Ah, you know what? My leg is hurting, but I'm just going to take it off. I think, as an overall, and thank you, Fran, for calling from Delaware, we're up against the break. I think as an overall So move him now.
makes the Ravens a clown organization.
Okay, to save what? You just said it, the team is one in five. You're just going to pull the rug out from underneath them? I'd have to look at the Baltimore Ravens like the Tennessee Titans. Like you're gonna fire hardby on a bye week.
Where Lamar Jackson hasn't played. Because maybe Lamar Jackson is now quit on the team. Like, don't step into New York Jets' territory.
Okay, don't step into Tennessee Titans' territory. Let them suck throughout the rest of the year. Let him be bad. And then give him the boot.
Now It's not the time. Not now. It's the J.R. Sport Reeshow here on the Infinity Sports Network. Listen up, football fans.
