We talked about the Tigers and their situation, how disappointing they are. Botcha, I hate to bring it up. And con good for the Mets. Right now they're beating the Cubs 6-2. Are the Mets not disappointing too?
We touched upon this a little early in the show. A $350 million payroll? Yeah. But at the same time, A lot of it is players that are. Injured one.
Two aging and three almost off the team.
So I'm not going to If they miss it, of course it's disappointing. But it's not the end of the world. If they miss the playoffs. At least people are giving Juan Soto a break. He's getting a break.
Now he's stealing all these bases. He comes 36 bases. He's like, I got paid now. I'm going to run. It doesn't matter if I tweak my ankle or not.
I'm getting paid. You got Peter Lonzo who's gonna get paid. Thank God that people are giving Francisco Landor a damn break. It's like people were giving that guy crap for all these years. And they got all these rookie pitchers out there that are having a start.
And you got a guy in Sanga who's just like, I'm not ready, I'm not ready, I'm not ready to pitch. It is a uh It's been an interesting season for the New York Mets. Let's see if they get into the postseason. I think. I think they'll get in.
I think they'll get it. Francisco Lendor missed the nice guy. He had a kid. I know he has a daughter. Did they have another baby?
They have three now. Three daughters. Yeah, they just had a baby recently, right? Past couple of months or something? Yep.
People, you got a lot of money, you make babies. Francisco Lindor, he says, you know what? Yeah, our starters are hurt, but you can't blame them for why we stink right now. No, because In here, we're all in it together. You know, we win together, we lose together.
And if we get down early, we get down together. And if we go up early, we're all in it together. At the end of the day, everyone is trying to be their best version of themselves. Yeah, of course everybody's trying to be the best version of themselves. Man.
I wonder what Steve Bacha, when's the last time Steve Cohen spoke? To the media, I think it's after Soto signed, but he tweets every now and then saying, like, keep your head up. Yeah, we need we need a full interview. The same way he was sitting on Zoom back in the day, the days that I don't want to think about, during the pandemic when he bought the team. Steve Cohen gave that proclamation about how I need to see, I want to win a championship in three to five years.
If we don't win one, it's a failure.
Well? This is year number five. I don't think the Mets have one of those uh miracles in them. I don't think there's anything about the Mets that resemble anything amazing. I see these New York Mets and I just go Meh.
If they get into the postseason, ain't nobody expecting nothing out of that. Maybe they can go on some type of miracle run, but I highly doubt it. I mean, you think about the Phillies, you think about the Dodgers. They are th they're buzz sauce. They would they would just buzz right through.
uh the New York Mets.
So we'll we'll see what happens there. Uh the season's gonna come to a close. I mean, damn it, by the time we get through tomorrow, which will of course will be a lot of football When we sit up here on Monday, We're going to know what's going to happen. With the postseason, it's going to be set at that point in time. In regular season will be done.

Okay, sure, we get it, Freddie Freeman. And then it's just thinking about Otani. How robotic he is, how automatic he is. And I started to think: what else does he do besides baseball? And uh, it was like, damn, didn't he have a kid?
And he did. We've never seen the child. God bless him. Probably for the safety and good for him. His security must be bananas.
Probably can't get within a I don't know, mile radius of his house. He lives in Los Angeles, which makes that seem impossible. Uh but anyway He had a kid. We talked about Francisco Londor on the New York Mets. They collapse.
Francisco Lindor had another kid. And I came across this today. Sean Alexander. And speaking of the Seahawks they're playing right now, this man was one of the best running backs in the NFL. over the past 25 years.
In the early 2000s, Sean Alexander was out there. Getting it. 2005, he won MVP, he won Offensive Player of the Year. He won everything that you could possibly win because he was a juggernaut. More than 1800 yards passing, almost 19, excuse me, 1,900 yards rushing.
to go along with twenty seven touchdowns when you gave Sean Alexander the football. That man was punching it. into the end zone. At his peak, After his rookie season in two thousand one when he was a full time starter, 14 touchdowns. Then 16 touchdowns, 14 touchdowns, 16 touchdowns.
And then in 2005, when he won MVP, 27 rounds. Rushing touchdowns. A beast a monster.
Well Sean Alexander, that's not the only thing he's a beast at. Today on TMZ, and I don't know a damn thing about this man, his personal life. I know he was on the cover of Madden, I know he was one of the best backs in the league. This man knows how to help populate the earth. He was on Up and Adams.
This man revealed He is having a fourteenth. Child Let me say it again. Sean Alexander said Me and my wife are having our fourteenth child, Together Damn, listen to this. Beautiful family, Sean. Wow.

Not anybody I know. But when you hear large amounts of children like that, you start going, Oh, you've adopted or you're a foster parent and you got a lot of kids. No, him and his wife. God bless em They went out there and they have created. Fourteen.
children Botcha, if I lived in that house If I happen to be one of those kids, I guess you only know what you know. I would hate everybody. I'd hate everybody. He's got a seven on seven team. coming with his kids.
That's like, that's insane. I I You would have to Imagine preparing meals. Perfect. 16 people. in one household That would drive me insane.
Just just getting cereal. You would think you would think that he still has NFL money, that he's still good. I know it's a different time and a different era. You know, this isn't anything that came to mind when I saw the story. Uh but Let's see what his NFL earnings were.
And maybe he's had plenty of success elsewhere. in in business and what have you.
Okay, Sean Alexander. It appears that he has made, Over thirty thirty four million dollars in his NFL. career.
Okay. It may be more than that. He signed an eight-year deal, but then he got hurt. He was released.
Okay, so yeah, about thirty-four million, not bad. I mean, you would think making 34 mil, you have that, and then you make some good investments, even if he only got 10 mil. Like, you can live off of that. I don't. I just wouldn't want to be in a house, man.
Like, do I have space in the house? Do I have to share everything? Do I gotta look at my brothers and sisters all day long? Maybe they're used to it. I don't know, man.

Somebody said the amazing part isn't the amount. But it's all with the same woman?

Someone says he never wore gloves when he played in the NFL. I don't know why people are surprised. Oh my.

Some one says Philip Rivers has nine months to respond. He has a starting lineup and a bench.
Some one says he couldn't even pull out of a driveway.
Okay. Yeah. All right. I I think we'll uh Someone says he's starting his own football team and uh Yeah. Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Wow. Damn. You gotta separate the house. You gotta... Is it possible to have three houses of the different age groups?
I was going to say, does everybody get their own house? I'm saying, like, you do f uh I don't know. The high school kids get their own house. Then you get Middle school, and then you got the toddlers.
So three different houses. The toddlers stay with the parents. Oh, of course. Yeah. communicate with them all the time.
But either way, you break it up into three. That that could work. I mean, at at what point do you make the older kids you you make the older kids take care of the younger kids, you have to, right? We could, but also how mature are high school kids. when you look at it.
I mean, if you're growing up in a house full of kids, I think at some point in time you become one of the parents as well. Yeah. How many times do you have to trip over like a... a a a mini mini car or a train track before you Mature. I don't know, man.
What This NFL player? Got a lot of money, made a lot of money, and uh Here he is. And you know, that's not even the only Interesting family story that came down the pipe. You had found this one. T.J.
Watt, he recently sat down with Graham Bessinger. And uh we know TJ, his brother JJ, These some big fellows. These are some defensive players of the year. What the hell I I make jokes about it. What the hell did these guys grow up eating?
Like, what are you making for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to get your kids coming out looking like JJ and TJ? It can't all be genetics. Listen to T.J. Watt talk about it. They'd wake up to a five-egg omelet every morning.
I mean, you'd always have a full breakfast, either omelette or... pancakes or muffins or something fresh. And then they would send us to school with Two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, one you'd eat before lunch, one you'd eat after lunch. And then you would have two lunches. You'd pay for two.
Yeah, double lunch at school, yeah. Which I didn't even know that was a thing. Yeah, yeah, double lunch, so you have chicken patty, you just get two of them, obviously. And then Um After school, you'd come home at like from next level or track practice and you'd eat dinner at five. and that'd be like a spaghetti with garlic bread or something.
And then At like what, seven thirty or eight o'clock, my dad would make like Salami sandwiches or whether it's that or he my dad always wanted to recreate things.
So if like I went to Noodles and Company and I loved the Japanese pan noodles, he'd be like, Oh, I can make the Japanese pan noodles.
So then like that'd be like something. Never the same, but I give him a lot of credit. You know, like we were into the chicken bacon ranch at Subway, he thought he could make it exactly the same. It never quite hit the same. I hope I hope, I hope, I hope.
I hope they had a lot of bathrooms in that house. Like that's a lot I haven't heard anybody say they eat that much food. Sense the rock And we know the rock has now lost weight. The rock is ah, how many what do you eat in a day, Ry? I eat twenty pancakes and I eat five things of oatmeal and I have twenty eggs and that's how I have these muscles.
Okay, the rock didn't do anything else for those muscles. But then you got these kids, the Watts, a five egg omelette. Five? Five? You know what?
There's times me, I'm a jerk. I mean, they're bigger than me, like twice my size, maybe three times my size, maybe four times my size. You know, I feel frisky if I have a three egg omelette. These guys are going out five eggs. Every day?
Um Do the But did they have chickens in the back yard? Maybe, because two chicken patties a day is insane on top of the eggs.
So they're having they're having physical chicken. on top of the eggs every day. They have to be near a farm.
Well, I mean, well, well, they're from Wisconsin, right? The Watts are from Wisconsin, I believe. Damn. That's a lot of food. Oh man, we didn't even get what is Sean Alexander what is his how many refrigerators does he have?
Uh I'm gonna say first floor, second floor. Basement. Second house, probably the same, so six. But Letty, did you hear that Sean Alexander is having a 14th kid? I did.

I remember hearing about this. Like, there was something, I could be wrong, but I feel like there was something about her being broke. See, that's the thing, because that's why, like, as much as we can joke around or whatever, but like Phillip Rivers and Sean Alexander, as much as that's a lot of kids and it's a little like. Damn, like your house has gotta be nuts 24 hours a day. At the same time, you kind of mentioned it.
One, you got one kid taking care of the other, because let's be fair, once you have at least, what, two, three? And there's an age gap. My 11-year-old takes care of my two-year-old more than I even want to admit.
So I'm not going to sit here and tell you that that doesn't happen.
So that's part of it. And the other part of it is: if you got money, it ain't that hard. 'Cause if you could feed them and you could clothe them, what's the big deal? Because they're a pain in the ass. They're always a pain in the ass.
Like, that's not a big deal. You if you've got money, it's hard, but it ain't as hard. It's when you don't have money where it's like, how do you How do you do any of this?
Well, still sign me up. Sign me up. I want to see. Put it on Netflix. Even if it's a summer vacation in a big old house in the middle of Nevada or something like that, I need to see Sean Alexander's kids.
and a Philip Rivers kids. in a house. Just doing vacation stuff. Maybe they do outside, they do summer games. We need a show.
We need a show. Maybe this is messed up, but what's the age range? These kids are like m under 18. All of them. Underage.
All right. Because that's what I'm saying. Let's not put like a 22-year-old Sean Alexander kid with a 20-year-old Phillip Rivers kid, because then we're going to have all kinds of kids.
So let's just slow it down to make sure that we're going to have this thing. We're going to have young kids, okay? Putting together the next generation of NFL people. You don't know. You know, somebody can hit it off.

Man, I try to if I had my kid work, I'd make him work right now this minute. He's asleep. He needs to be working. That's what he needs to do. You know, I didn't follow through.
I used to always tell my oldest that I'll give you until six. Six years of unemployment. to me seems like more than fair. But now he's eleven and he still doesn't have a job. They're just lazy.
Yeah, I'm I'm two years away from that, so I need to get on it. I'm about to put him outside. He could mow grass or he could do something. You know, I mean, think about it. Six, can you imagine being unemployed for six years?
Like, get your ass up and go get a job.
So I think you think Sean Alexander's kids, you think they work? They take care of each other, I bet.
So, yeah, in some ways, they do kind of work, somewhat. Because I'm sure that there's times where Sean is yelling out, go take care of whoever. Because I know I yell it out. I can't imagine with 14 kids, you don't want somebody taking care of somebody else. Yeah, well the at least they'll take care of him.
