You just get a Get a rash of firings, and it's sports, it's a performance-based business. If you don't play well, On the field? If you don't perform well on the field, you you get cut. And if you're a coach, it's it's pretty much the same exact thing. This is a result.
Everything it's a result. Driven. business. Don't have the results. You get shown the door.
I mean, it doesn't matter, and everything runs its course, and nobody keeps a job. forever. We got Bill Belichick getting his behind kicked in North Carolina right now. Did you expect him to leave? You know, the Patriots like this?
It was a possibility when Tom Brady left. He was just ticking everybody off and driving everybody nuts. But all good things gotta come to an end, And all bad things, well, they they definitely come to an end. They they come to a head. And now with Mike Gundy, being fired today, We've had a couple of coaches in the college ranks who've already been shown the door.
Deshaun Foster going from UCLA. That seemed like it was going to be a disaster from day one. We got Brent Pryor last week fired from Virginia Tech. We got Dabo Sweeney. even answering questions about You know, whether or not he's going to keep his job, especially now with.
Clemson at one and three. I'll get into Dabbo in a second. Let's talk about some of these guys. Who've been fired? You know, last hour we talked about Mike Gundy.
Not a surprise. Think about how bad they've been, losing eleven out of their last twelve games. Mike Gundy always saying wild and crazy things. We heard that famous rant, we played it last hour. He's like, I'm a man, don't criticize my players.
And then we we even mentioned this, one of our callers brought it up. One of the worst things that Mike Gundy ever said, forget as a coach As a human being, Mike Gundy stood in front of the media. and had the temerity last July, to basically, you know, kind of give one of his players a pass For drunk driving? Are you kidding me? He basically said.
Hey, you know, I do it every now and then. I'm like, is this guy on crack? Listen to this man.
So I looked it up on my phone. What would be the legal limit? Like in Oklahoma is 0.08. And all he was Um point one.
So I looked it up. And it was. based on body weight. Not to get into the legal side of it, but I thought Really, two or three beers or four. I'm not justifying what all he did, I'm telling you what decision I made.
Well, I thought I'd probably done that a thousand times in my life. And and I you know, it's just fine.
So I got lucky. People get lucky. Ollie made a um a decision that he wished he could have Done better. But when I talked to Ollie, I told him, I said, you're lucky you got out light. Because you make a lot of money to play football.
Ha ha ha. Yeah, I every time I hear that I have to s am I hearing that correctly? Am I on drugs? And I have to go and say, no, I'm not on drugs. Is he on drugs?
I go, maybe he is. Like, that's. I'm not trying to justify it. That's the justification, that's the explanation from a head coach. I gotta tell you something.
and I I made a joke about it last hour. Mike Gundy might now go on to, you know, do podcasts. I don't know. But leading a group of young men, obviously he has a He he's lost it. He doesn't have it.
He doesn't need to lead a group of young men. to do anything. The guy can barely lead himself Okay, I don't want to be on the road with this guy. I don't want to be in a room with this guy. God bless him for being able to, you know, go out there and formulate a few sentences.
I got to be honest. I'm glad that Mike Gundy is gone. He doesn't need to be in charge of nobody. He doesn't. Mike Gundy gone from Oklahoma State earlier today.
And then, how about this? Damn it, last week. Deshaun Foster. He's gone from U C L A what a disaster that is You thought things would be different bringing on uh Nico Yamaliava and Well, that was a disaster how he decided to end up leaving Tennessee. Goes to UCLA.
Now he has an 0-3 start. Everybody is now game for leaving. Can't wait to see where Nico Yamaliava is going to continue his career. In another terrible place, probably. He's not going to be better than what he had at Tennessee.
And Deshaun Foster, what was his full. Qualifications to be head coach. It just seemed from day one. This was not going to work out. And sure, not everybody wins the The Press Conference Nick Siriani, the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, he famously sounded lost.
in his opening day press conference talking about the process and we need our players to do less thinking and less thinking means more reaction and less reaction means smart football play. That's like this guy doesn't know what the hell he's doing. He's nervous as hell. He ultimately went to a Super Bowl lost. went to another Super Bowl and won.
Nobody cares what Nick Siriani does right now. They just want the offense to be a little bit more. Explosive. But I digress. When it comes to Deshaun Foster, his opening press conference It might have been actually worse.
It was worse than Nick Siriani's. Deshaun Foster. Wasn't even prepared to say hello or explain his philosophy. He just was uh. He's like a deer in headlights.
It's not surprising that he got fired. After an 0-3 start this year. And listen to this. How you guys doing? I'm happy to be here.
I'm glad to be a part of this great conference. Um Finally putting two great Emblems together, UCLA and the Big Ten. Um We're a school that's won, what, one hundred and twenty-three championships, so this fits us being right in this conference. Football wise. We're just excited.
You know, um I'm sure you guys don't know too much about UCLA, but our football program, but we're in LA. Um It's us in USC. We um I'm just basically excited, really. That's it. Any questions?
Ooh, ouch! Ouch. I you know what? I wish that was an SNL skit. Like that was real.
Like, that was real. That was real. That was real. He went 5-7 last year. He started 0-3, getting beat up by New Mexico, UNLV.
They said, no, thanks. I don't know, be running backs coach somewhere, but to stand up and lead the team. That was a tough one. We got Brent Prye, who's fired from Virginia Tech. Ouch.
People are wishing that Shane Beamer comes to ruin. kinda takes over. At least Brent Pryor could stand in front of the people and tell everybody how bad they are. I mean, you had a bunch of fans who were asking him to get fired. And before he got fired, he's like, Yeah, I know the fans are frustrated.
I don't blame him. Listen to this. Yeah, I get it. Yeah, I'm frustrated too, so I understand where they're coming from. The expectations at this place are to.
to to win. And we got great fans here. Um So I understand their frustrations. Um You know, they've been fantastic to us. I thought the crowd was a good crowd tonight.
And we let them down. Yeah. Who you tell, so aft that must have been after losing a old dominion. forty five to twenty six Shoutouts to Oldie. Yo, I love Old Dominion.
I love. Abach, you ever been out that way? Nope. Um I don't think I've ever been to anywhere in central part of um of America. But that's in Virginia.
I haven't been down there either.
Okay, yeah, that's that's that's that's sitting in the ocean, buddy. Yeah, no, I haven't been there.
Okay, yeah nothing central about our old dominion. Ah, but yeah, no, it stinks. It really stinks for all of their fans. I'm talking about for Virginia Tech. I'm happy for ODU.
I love ODU. But for Virginia Tech, it's pretty bad. Sixteen and twenty four. Over his tenure, people are hoping that Shane Beamer wants to, you know, swing on over. Which is kinda bad.
And then we got another name, the biggest name of em all. Dab old sweetie. after losing to Syracuse a thirty four to twenty one. Clemson is one in three. They were people, not me, what the hell do I know?
But they were people saying that Clemson is on its way to a championship. They got all the talent in the world. They're going to, like, half the damn team is going to the NFL, but they are one. And three, Dabo's been there since two thousand eight. He's making what, $11, $12 million a year.
He got two national titles. But people are like, dude, it's a what have you done for me lately, world? Dabo hasn't been to the playoffs. Dabo hasn't embraced NIO. He hasn't embraced the transfer portal.
He got a bunch of guys that are going into the league right now, but they ain't winning nothing. Nobody's talking about Klubnick. This was somebody that was looked upon as being a Heisman candidate. They're one and three. And just last week Dabbo went on this major rant about what the team is gonna do and what's gonna happen and how people shouldn't think about him being fired and he's gonna find a job somewhere else and now he's a little bit more more humble.
At this point Okay, he's kind of frustrated too. He's not blaming anybody. He says, we're talented, we just suck right now. That's on all of us.
So, I mean, it's a it's a frustrating thing. Because we are a talented football team that we have under chief, and that falls on me. That's just bottom line. Like I've let a lot of people down, especially these seniors. Um but Again, um We all got a job to do and it's accountability for all of us.
So we're just going to flush this, man. I mean, that's all we can do right now: completely flush it, bury it, and. you know, focus on on what's in front of us. And and the and the opportunities that we still have.
Okay. All right. It'll look a little bit more little bit more calm and quiet and reserved. than what we're hearing. I I gotta tell you this.
Clemson is not firing this guy. in the middle of the season. Don't expect it to happen. Also, think about Dab O'Sweeney. I told you about how much money that this guy is currently making.
about eleven, twelve million dollars a season. If they give him the boot, They gotta pay him sixty million dollars. All right, that is not happening. Dabo will be here throughout the course of the year. I know there's going to be a lot of people whining, yelling, complaining about their record, how bad they are, what they're doing, what they're.
He's not going anywhere.
Okay. Mike Gundy, $15 million. They said goodbye. $60 million to fire somebody? I mean, I I don't see that happening.
Dabo's going to be here throughout the course of the year. He may be havin' to eat a whole lot o' humble pie. But he's he's he's not going anywhere. And get over it. He's not Deshaun Foster.
He's not Mike Gundy. His resume has pushed his buyout to 60 mil. Don't expect him to be the next head coach fired. Not the case at all. We're going to talk with Bill Bender about this later on in the show.
888-710-4ISN is the number. 888-710-4ISN. Rashawn is calling from Baltimore. Go ahead, Rashawn. A Good evening, Jay.
I'll then stick on my calls. Sure, shoot, quick. Hey, if Delpho gets fired, man, I would love for him to come to be the coach of my Baltimore Ravens. 'Cause we sure in uh in need of a new head coach, man, 'cause I'm tired of this hardball mess, man. His message has gone stale.
The team is just not responding. And we're not going to win a Super Bowl or even make it to another Super Bowl with this guy as our head coach, man. That was just an embarrassment last night. um Monday Night Football on Prime T V in front of a home crowd.
So man, um, this this this was a Super Bowl of bus year for the Ravens.
Well, you got some good timing, Rashawn, because we're going to take a break. And when we come back on the other side, we're going to have a conversation with Jeremy Kahn. I know you know him from the Big Bad Morning show. Oh, that's my guy.
Well, I'm going to ask him exactly what you just said about Coach Harbar. We'll get into Derrick Henry and his fumbles. We'll talk about this defense and what they're doing. And so we got Jeremy Kahn joining us on the other side. Thank you so much, Rashawn, for calling from Baltimore.
Let's talk about those Ravens and that performance last night. We'll have Jeremy on the other side. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief Show, coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. It's done. And last night, let's just say it didn't end on a positive note. If you're the Ravens, they went out there and lost to the Lions at home. Thirty-eight. I'm not sure if I can do it.
Derrick Henry is dropping balls. The defense doesn't look as strong. The Ravens are one and two. Not where you thought this team would be at this point of the season. Joining us right now is someone very familiar.
With the Baltimore Ravens. You can catch him. He's a co-host from the Big Bad Morning Show, 105-7th and Fan in Baltimore. Let's welcome in Jeremy Conn. Jeremy, how you been, man?
You good? I'm good, Jared. Thanks for having me, man. Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt. You know, right before you joined us, we had a caller who hit us up from Baltimore, and he basically said, I am tired.
Of John Harbaugh. He feels that his message has kinda gone. Grown flat and dry. It's three games in. What are your thoughts on that comment first?
So, I I mean, truth be told, I'm not a big believer in hardball, and I've been that way for years, but I'm not telling you the guy's a bad coach, but I kind of agree with the sentiment from that caller you had there where he's kind of saying. Like we've seen this. It's the same story after every loss. It's the same reaction after every win. I mean, it's been 13 years since they won the Super Bowl.
And even that year, they were one of the worst teams to get in. They just got hot at the right time. You know, Joe Flacco, 11 touchdowns, zero picks.
So maybe there is something of that on the horizon. But I mean, you gotta give them credit because When they drafted Lamar Jackson midway through the season, he pushed all his chips to the middle and he bet on himself with him. And then that's kind of what has given them these extensions. But there's no question that the past few years, I think they've had the most talent in the league and they haven't got it done. When you think about all the talent, you talk about Lamar Jackson.
I I've never in my life heard a head coach heap so much praise on a player. And we see what Lamar Jackson has done and his improvement. Over the years. But the team is built. He Lamar is the entire team.
Even how they play defense is built around, it sounds crazy, this guy offensively. He is the team. And so how much is there for them to really change knowing that the identity of the Ravens is built around Lamar?
Well, it's it's weird 'cause the Ravens are averaging thirty seven points a game and they're one and two. And I think I saw the stat today that quarterbacks that have thrown nine touchdowns and zero interceptions through their first three games. All of them are three and oh, except for except for Lamar this year, who's being one and two. I got new three, they might be one and three after they head to Kansas City, but their schedule. it's fairly easier if you want to put it that way.
They still got to figure some things out wholesale. But I mean, your point to Lamar, I mean, I'm a Peyton Manning Truther. It's my favorite player. I just said to my son today, I said, I think the check is the best football player I've ever seen. You're watching what he's doing with his ability to throw the football.
adding to it his ability to run, even though he's cut back on that thumb. And I still think the mesh point between Lamar and Derrick Henry, when he puts that ball in his belly, is one of the greatest. um you know one of the greatest advantages in sports right now that we have Uh, because you make the decision of which way you're going, and they're so good at doing it, it makes you wonder what's happened the past two games with the running game.
So, yeah, I mean, there's a lot that falls on Lamar, and I think ultimately he's the guy that's got to bear that cross of. Hey, you haven't won a Super Bowl and your team's not good in the playoffs and You know, you can't win the big one and that keeps getting built and built and built until he finally does. Yeah, Jeremy Kahn is joining us, co-host of the Big Bad Morning Show 1057, a fan, in Baltimore. You talk about the running game. We saw Derrick Henry 23 yards in that win against Cleveland, that beat down.
against the Browns. We could thank Lamar Jackson's touchdowns for that. But then last night he he only gets fifty on the ground and now we're hearing about him fumbling the ball. W what's the deal with Derek? Is there anything that that you've noticed?
I mean, I don't think there's anything you can point your finger at.
Now, we could have questioned: had this been something that happened week one, week two, and week three, we could look at it and say, okay, is father time catching up to him? I don't even think we're close to that. But you know, running backs in thirty, that's what people believe. This guy takes such good care of himself. I think it's just kind of a small sample size here, but it's three fumbles in three games, and they've lost two of them.
And the two games he lost fumbles, they lost both of those games.
So. Yeah, nobody's beating himself up more than Derrick Henry right now. I think he'll be fine ultimately. Um you know, there's been I hate saying it's just bad luck. You've got to take better care of the football.
And they keep saying it after the games, but I think the wholesale problems this team has on the other side of the ball.
Well, yeah, you talk about that. Of course, you know, Buffalo can put up points, and they did. Detroit can do the same thing, so it's not like they went out here and lost to some.
Some scrubs, but what is going on with that defense? Is it the lack of a pass rush? They have all these safeties and backs. What's the deal? I mean, I think that's part of it.
You know, they're rookie Malachi Starks. One of the things we were saying at the beginning of the year is this Ravens secondary. Has all first-round picks in it. And, you know, that's with Jair Alexander, and that's been a bit of a disappointment. Um, you'd like to think that maybe in this game, not having Kyle Van Noy, who was your leading pass rusher last year, and not having Justin Matabike or Namde Matabike, excuse me.
Not having him there as well because he creates a pass rush, he's our leading sack guy this year. I mean, with only two, but still. Um he wreaks havoc up front. But I don't even know if he was there last night that it would have helped. They were just gigantic holes on an offensive line.
The Lions had been questioning their interior lineman.
So, you tell me how one of the better run defenses we've seen. over the past two or three years, gives up a game like that. And if they can't look themselves in the mirror and come back, And put up a better effort against the Chiefs. Yeah, maybe this ends up being a long season. Like I said, their schedule ends up being very, very favorable.
What we already see at 1-2, there's a lot of alarm bells that are going off in Baltimore with the Ravens. If they go 1-3 against Kansas City, I think people, there's going to be a lot of fussing, there's going to be a lot of arguing. You guys are certainly going to hear it on the morning show. Nothing's going to change, right? It's just people are going to complain, and nothing's going to happen.
Not in the course of the season. Yeah, I don't think so. I mean, you look at years past and what we've seen, if we just go back to last year. The Ravens kind of had that weird start, the double-digit lead they blew against the Raiders, and losing some games early, and people were questioning them. And then they kind of figured their defense out midway through the season and it performed like a top-five defense.
We all thought we were going to have a generational team this year with all the talent on the defensive side of the ball and on offense. And I mean, I think we're right about the offensive side. It's pretty special, but it's hard to figure out why this defense has been so bad. And you almost want to give them a pass because you face the Lions and the Bills, and maybe we need some more data. But it's been really bad against those two teams.
Is there anything That can change throughout the course of the season from a personnel standpoint. I mean, so this week they're going to get healthier. Isaiah likely will be back. I don't think people realize. Just how good this offense is with Patrick Ricard in there.
I mean, you talk about a fullback that's versatile, H-back, tight end. He played some D-line when he first got in the league. Is a 300-pound man that just loves pancakes, and you put him in front of Derrick Henry. And we've seen why they have such success in this running game. He's a big part of it.
They haven't had him all season long. And I think eventually, when you get Kyle Van Noy back and figure out what's going on with Jair Alexander, they'll get pieces throughout the year. Um, that's going to make them better, but you know, I think partially with this scheme, a lot of people are getting tired of Zach Orr here saying that. We've seen this under him. He's a young defensive coordinator.
We've seen this under him for a few years now. Oh, well, I mean, I mean, the defensive coordinator before him, we had fans going out to the facility, putting out leaflets to fire him. That's just uh yeah, we're in a wild world right now. What do you expect from this team? We know it's, hey, you got to go to the AFC Championship game.
Hopefully, they go to the Super Bowl. What do you realistically expect from the Ravens this year, Jeremy? I mean, I fully expect them to put it together and still win this division. I mean, I think they're the best team in the division. And that talent's still there if they stay healthy.
I mean, Lamar, if Lamar's putting up 30 points a game, there's no reason why you can't be giving up less than that to get a few W's here. And as I mentioned, their schedule, I mean, they're playing the Patriots, the Dolphins, the Bengals without Joe Burrow. You know, you look at this division, and I don't know that anybody's necessarily scared of it now the way it felt like they used to be when with the Steelers and Ravens defense not looking all that great.
So. I still think they win this division. I think they get into the playoffs, and then we'll let the chips fall where they may. Going to stub their toe like they usually do in Kansas City or Buffalo.
Well, we know that's pretty much the last stop and destination. Will the Ravens or the Buffalo Bills quote unquote get over the hump? We know that Kansas City doesn't look as strong as they've been in years past. If things don't work out, whether the Ravens go to an AFC Championship game or they stop at the divisional round, if it's the same old thing that we've seen over the past several seasons. I know you're not necessarily a fan of Harbaugh, but what's next?
Are they just going to run it back again next year? What happens? It's hard to say because, I mean, I feel like this organization and you look at Pittsburgh, what they've done with coaches. I mean, Bill Cower getting extended time and staying there. What?
The Steelers have only had three coaches in their tenure. I mean, it's pretty insane when you think about it. And I think the Ravens have now done that with hardball. I mean, there may be some conversations with players and seeing how Lamar feels about moving on. Um, if that's something that gets caught up, but like this is more of a fan-driven thing than anything else.
We haven't heard anything from ownership saying, you know, hey, he's a coach under fire, or yeah, we're keeping our eye on him, and things haven't gone the way we wanted. been very quiet on that front. Hmm. And so, same old, same old. I mean, the fans are still going to show up.
No, what are they going to do? Just if you love your football, you're going to show up. And I mean, look, we just had a disappointing Orioles season, and people are dying for football. And it's like football gets here, and it's not what you thought it was going to be. And so, fans are really upset.
It hasn't been a great year in Whoville over here in Baltimore. Yeah, well, they've started one and two. I don't think it'd be out of the realm of possibility, as you mentioned, to see these Ravens go on a stretch, a good run, a good winning streak. And I think maybe all of this will be forgotten a little bit. by the time we get to the center part of the season.
Well, Jeremy, thank you so much for your time. Tell everybody where they can follow you and listen to you and all the great stuff. Yeah, I'm at Jcon Sports. It's C-O-N-N. You can obviously find me on the Odyssey app.

Big shout outs and thank you to Jeremy Kahn, co-host of the Big Bad Morning Show, one hundred five seven The Fan in Baltimore. The the Ravens are one of these teams. I mean, they're they're well equipped to go out there and do something. They can string together four, five, six wins and All of this can be forgotten. I mean, ultimately, we know it gets to brass tax when you get to the postseason.
You taking on Buffalo? Are you losing by a field goal? Are you losing by a point? Are you losing because of a fumble? Because of a drop.
Like this is literally. what the raven season could come down to. And maybe this year they can finally get over the hump. I get it. The Ravens are one and two.
People are upset, people are not happy. I would not go too crazy. I still think this is one of the best teams in the AFC. I expect them to be maybe potentially in the AFC championship game. I think it bodes well for them and everybody else in the AFC.
That right now, it doesn't look like the Chiefs are as strong as they've been in years past. But then you always have teams that pop up. The chargers are certainly looking good right now, And so, you never want to look the gift horse in the mouth. But I don't think the Ravens are cooked. I don't think you got to completely throw them out.
I think things would be perfectly fine. I even think the defense. We'll go ahead and get things together. Thank you so much to Jeremy Kahn for joining us from the Big Bad Morning Show. In Baltimore.

From the Big Bad Morning Show on 1057 The Fan out in Baltimore. I mean, when it comes down to the Ravens, I get it, they've started one and two. They really are the case of We got to see what they do.
At the end of the season. That's it. What happens when they get to the playoffs?
Okay, they've started one and two. What are they going to do in the postseason? Are people screaming that they're not going to make it? I don't think even a Baltimore Ravens fan thinks that much. You probably really got to be down in the dumps on the team if you think they won't make the postseason.
They'll get to the postseason. It's just a matter of what happens when they get there. Everybody can't be the Buffalo Bills just out here steamrolling folks. It's not like the Buffalo Bills steamrolled them when they played. They gave up a huge lead and they ended up losing.
So. Let's talk about the Ravens in January. Let's see what happens. Thank you so much to Jeremy Kahn for coming through and joining us. I told you there's a lot of news in the NFL.
But before we get down to some of these injuries, let's talk about the Defensive Player of the Week brought to you by the Navy Federal Credit Union. Our members are the mission. And the player this week, Historic performance. A big shout out to Isaiah Rogers of the Minnesota Vikings. Maybe you didn't see this game.
I said, I'm not watching it. It was an ass whooping. I saw the highlights. But the Vikings, they beat up the Bengals 48-10.
Okay, it was a beatdown. Isaiah Rogers, just in the first half of the game alone. He had two defensive touchdowns. He had an 87-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter. And then he scooped up a fumble 66-yard return in the second.
He also forced three turnovers. He became the first player in Vikings' history to score two defensive touchdowns in a single game. and set an NFL record as the only player ever to have an interception return for a touchdown. A fumble return for a touchdown, and force two fumbles in one game. Yeah, that's an easy one to think about.
There you have it. Isaiah Rogers, the defensive player. player. of the week. Yeah, I would think the Bengals want to start looking for a quarterback now.
Maybe they want to call the New York Giants for Russell Wilson. Yeah, we know Joe Burrow knocked the hell out. And speaking of injuries. Man, we got Nick Bosa out. Torn ACL Man.
Bacho, what do you do when you Like he must be bone on bone at this point, right? Uh, was it the same exact ACL?
Well, he's gone through the ACL now at this point. Yeah, he taught this one in high school. Oh, wow. He taught this ACL in high school. And then he tore the other one in the NFL.
And so this ACL has been torn twice. His knee gotta be bone on bone at this point. Yeah, I don't know. What the gel shots maybe helped there? Maybe Stem cells per chance, but yeah, it's got to be bad at this point.
Well, listen, man, they're going to end up ripping into that guy's hip. Just to find something and stitch him back together.
So, Bosa is out, and then this stinks too. We know Mike Evans has basically been automatic. From the day that he showed up in the NFL. He's been here since 2014. Every single season, he's hauled in more than 1,000 yards receiving.
Even last year, he had to deal with these hamstring issues. Mike Evans went out there, he had 1,000 yards receiving, 1,004 yards receiving in 14 games. And that's really going to be at risk now because he's dealing with a hamstring issue again. You can't make this up. We just saw the Bucs beat the Jets.
Jets almost came back to beat them. Didn't happen, didn't take place. And now, Mike Evans, we know that he's going to be out again. Last year, he missed four games with the hamstring. It looks like he's going to miss the same amount of time, or maybe longer.
You have no idea. Todd Bowles, he spoke to the media. He was asked about Mike Evans and his hamstring, and this is what he had to say. Coach, any update that you have on Mike Evans? Does it look like he's going to miss some time to that hamstring?
Not yet, he's gonna get an MRI tomorrow. Um right now they deeming it as low grade, but we'll see when it comes out. What exactly happened? It was it seemed like a no contra uh no contact kind of Yeah, I mean, that's exactly what happened. I mean He felt something, so he came off.
What hap w he's thirty two years old. This man is a wide receiver. He's 32 years old. He's been bowling out consistently since he's been in the league since twenty fourteen. Like, w what else is the expectation for Mike Evans?
Like, he's going to get busted up. He's big as hell. He's tall. It's still a wonder that he's doing it all these years later. What do you expect?
He got hurt last year. He missed time.
Now he's hurt again with the same injury. I mean, the last time I checked, as you get older, You're more susceptible to injury. As you get older, you're a little bit more slow to recover. And for the Buccaneers, This really stinks. It's one thing to have to finish a game without Mike Evans, but it's another thing now that you don't have Mike Evans.
You're still hoping and waiting for Chris Godwin to come back and actually step onto the football field. And this is going to be easier now for teams to kind of queue in On a Buka, and he's been great. But when you only got one guy to worry about, You know, it's one thing to line up against on the opposite side from a future Hall of Famer. It's another thing when everybody knows that you are now the number one target. And so these Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they've already been.
Barely squeaking by. They beat Atlanta twenty-three to ten. They beat Houston 20-19. They beat the Jets 29. to twenty seven God bless them.
The name of their gang? to sling the rock, throw the ball all over the place. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that without Mike Evans out there on the field.
So we'll see what happens with the Buccaneers. They got the Philadelphia Eagles next.
Okay, I would fully expect the Eagles to uh you know go out there and uh maybe beat the living hell out of them. Let's see if the Buccaneers I'm I'm expecting them to take their first loss of the season. And speaking of the Eagles, We got a former Eagle. He is all ready. just having an entire fit here.
C. J. Gartner Johnson. When has this guy ever been happy? The Eagles said no, thank you.
They jettis him off to Houston. The Texans are 0-3, and they've already cut him. Apparently he didn't want to be a part of the team. He wanted the Blitz more. He's not happy with his role.
He's not happy on an 0-3 team. And so they decided to go ahead and give him the boot. And I mean, even when the Eagles traded him back in July, he had a fit about that. Listen to him. Listen to this guy.
I'm never happy. Why are you now with Houston, Texan? and not a Philadelphia Eagle. Scared of a competitor. You said they're scared of a competitor?
Yeah. Simple as that. What you mean? You can't program a dog. Certain dogs, you can't say if you're a dog, and then it's time to go out there.
Hey, we need you to. Then look at the Washington Commanders game. I got kicked out. I was nowhere near to play. That's what Spark did.
Then we had like a little scrum between. at practice Nothing, it's just offense versus defense. But who's the culprit of it? me, I guess, because I guess we're competing. when you tell them the period is live.
You're telling us not to compete during a live period, but it's a live period. We're competing to get ready for a playoff game. All right, cool. Or you want me to be a leader and outspoken, but then you want me to sit back and just... I'm cool with taking a back seat.
but I'm not cool with. little things like, okay, I'm misled, I'm confused. I don't understand what you what you want me to do. I would ask these now, I would go to the front office like, what's my role? This man was upset on a championship team.
This man is upset on a losing team. Like what team wants this man? Like, he had to play with the Lions. The Lions were good when he was there. He played for the Saints to start off his career.
When are you ever going to be happy about anything? And then, also on the way out the door a couple of years ago, when he initially was given the boot from Philadelphia, he's been here twice. He's like, I I don't like Philly. He's always gonna complain. This is from a few years ago.
Alright, f Alright, my least favorite thing is the people. The f ⁇ that knocks is a f ⁇ ing King Standard f ⁇ . Everything the weather was a dub. There's a cold but I f with it though. Yeah.
The fans were obnoxious, the weather sucked. This guy's from Florida. I don't know. Maybe he could play Botcha, where should he play? Not for the Dolphins, right now.
Uh Uh, L A an L A team? Chargers? Probably not. Yeah. He he's never happy.
What a miserable You know what? Yeah, I mean, you could fill in the blank with whatever you want to, but he's just miserable, man. Come on, get over it. All the best to Mike Evans and his recovery. You know, I want to see that guy go out there and do good.
CJ Gardner Johnson, no idea where he ends up. And then also. This is some other NFL news. We talked about. You know, Brian Dayball being on a hot seat.
We got Brian Callahan, who's the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. I don't know how much he's on a hot seat, but he's looked upon right now with the Titans at 0-3. He's had a career record now of 3 and 17. I know he's waiting to see if Cam Ward is his quarterback. He's already given up.
his play calling duties. Bo Hardigree is now going to take over the offense, and it's not like he's some experienced guy. He's only been an interim offensive coordinator. And so the Tennessee Titans are struggling to find some life. They're waiting to see what Cam Ward could do.
And then you got Brian Kellyanne, who's like, yeah, I'm not calling the plays anymore. Listen to what he said today. A lot of things that you self-reflect on at the start that we've had so far and things that we've got to get better at. And one of the things that I think is going to help our football team help me be a better head coach for our team is I'm going to hand over the play calling. Uh to bow.
And Part of that process is, and part of the decision making in that process is that Bo's Ben. Had some interim experience calling. He's been on the rookie quarterback before. That part of it will make it. a little bit seamless in that regard.
The other part of it is that our offensive staff and our game planning process and system is going to remain in place. It's still a collaborative process. We rely on everybody to do their part. Hey, listen, when you fire yourself You just gotta talk for a long time. You gotta talk for a long time and and and try to make it make sense.
He was talking about being disappointed in his play calling. L listen to this response. Yeah, I I've have zero disappointment in my play calling. I mean, I I don't have any disappointment in that at all, but it's just more just so I can I can see see the rest of it, see the big picture better and do a better job of it. Yeah, listen man.
If they stink this year They're gonna fire him.
Okay, this is the same team. This is the same team that had one of the best coaches in the league and Mike Vrabel. and they told him to take a hike. Yeah, Cam Ward may have a new head coach next year. That The chair our sport reshow on the Infinity Sports Network.
We know change is inevitable. It's even coming to Major League Baseball. I'm going to tell you what baseball is doing different next year with Robots. Don't move. Listen up, football fans, you won't want to miss this.
