The big fajita Rich Rare are filling in for Jr. tonight. Here across America on the Infinity Sports Network. Thanks for joining us, everybody. You all know the number 855-212-4227.
855-212-4227. Marco Belletti will take over for updates here at the bottom of the hour. Right now, we could tell you it is 10-0. The Los Angeles Chargers leading the Kansas City Chiefs. That's about ten minutes left.
10 minutes and change left in the first half as Kansas City really hasn't done much offensively. Xavier Worthy knocked out of the ball game on a pick route, ran into one of his own players, hurt his shoulder. He's questionable to return. We'll see if we get more information as the game goes on, but it looked pretty nasty, but. I don't want to speculate.
Hopefully, it was just a stinger, but we'll see. But he's questionable to come back in the game, so we'll keep you apprised of that. But again, Kansas City has the ball. They're driving there on the other side of the 50-yard line. 10-0, they're down here in the second quarter.
As Patrick Mahomes will try to engineer a scoring drive to make this one a little bit closer. You guys want to comment? 855-212-4555. 4227-855-212-4227. We also have college football going on tonight as well.
So college football wise, at half Northwestern is a leading I'm gonna have to I actually have to click on this Gamecast to see who they're playing tonight. Western Illinois. The Leathernecks taking on Northwestern. They're leading 22-0 at half in that ball game. Other ball games tonight in college football have.
Let's see. What do I got here on the Friday night? Nothing in the top 25. If I look around, James Madison leading. Louisville 7-6, that's on the road at Louisville.
That ball game now in the second half. James Madison, JMU leading 7-6 over Louisville. It was Northwestern over Western Illinois right now. 22-0. That is.
At half time. Also at halftime, Maryland beating northern Illinois 10-3 a little bit later. Eastern Washington and Boise State will get together. Here's what I'm going to tell you, they're not a lot of good games. Not a lot of good games in college football.
This weekend. Bunch of great games last week, not a lot this week. And I'm about to break your heart because there's some college football fans that are going to be in for a rude awakening. Because we're going to go to a 40 team. superconference and not everybody's gonna make it out of the Power Four.
There's going to be some teams that are going to be left behind, and you're going to be surprised. And what the criteria I think it's going to be. And why your team could be one that's left out. But let me go to Rich and Albuquerque. He's next here on the Infinity Sports Network.
Rich, what's going on, brother? Haven't talked to you in forever.
Okay. That's true. Uh listen, I'm a huge uh Eagles fans since nineteen sixty. Right. And I've watched a lot of football.
And what really gets me last night is you would have thought Dallas had won the game last night. I mean, we're looking at a hall of fame uh quarterback in Jalen Hurts. I don't know. Whoa, whoa, wait a second. Pump the brakes a little bit on that.
He's a great quarterback, won the Super Bowl. I don't know if you can say he's a guaranteed lock. To be a s to be a a Hall of Fame quarterback. If he stays healthy, right?
So listen, I just want to be correct. I said this earlier, Rich. I'm not sure if you heard it. He's the most disrespected player in the National Football League. Nobody believes in him.
Nobody gives him a chance. He's wearing the label that he earned at Alabama when he got pulled from the game when Sabin went with Tua, and he's been living under that label ever since. Nobody gives him any respect, and they're fools not to because the guy's nothing but a winner. He's nothing but a leader. And he's someone that I look up to as someone who he could have got bitter.
He could have been upset. He could have been mad that his draft status that nobody gave him a chance. But guess what? You could have all the MVPs in Buffalo, you could have all the MVPs in Baltimore, but he's got something they don't have, and that's a ring. Absolutely, yeah, I'm right with you, brother.
And one last thing. The MVP, they're always talking about Lamar and Josh. Last year In my humble opinion, when you have a team that goes from four wins. to fourteen, including playoffs or whatever the number was, Should have been Jaden Daniels. That's your most valuable player.
Did he put it?
Well, so the most valuable, it's interesting. We had a caller on earlier, Rich. And we are talking about why does Jalen Hurts get no respect? And I think the label thing is important, the hype thing, but then the fantasy football numbers I think also unfortunately play into this as well.
So how do you argue with the numbers that Josh puts up How do you argue with the numbers that Lamar Jackson puts up? It's hard to look at anybody else with the numbers that those offenses put up, those video game numbers they put up. to think about anybody else that you would put in that uh That reputation that's an MVP top quarterback. That's a lot to put on a rookie to say that he would have been the MVP of the league.
Well, if I had a vote, I would vote. I look at a guy who turns the team from uh yeah, seller to uh playoff contender in one year. You could have even made the same uh argument for Stroud, but I see your point. You know, he's only he only did it one season.
So Right, and they also came on rather late. People started talking about them at the second half of the season. And as he got better, they got better.
So, no, you're absolutely right. I want to see. And I'm not sold on Jaden Daniels. I I think he's too slight. to run around the way that he does.
I see RG3 written all over him. I've seen him play since he was at Arizona State and at LSU, and he was always able just to outrun. Defenses to extend plays, he can't do that anymore because the players in the National Football League are too fast.
So I want to see if he's going to be able to take the pounding, the style of football he plays, because the more he runs, the more he puts himself out there for a chance to someone to for someone to ring his bell.
Well okay. You make a great point. Anyhow, enjoy the show, and I'll be listening to you again. All right, thank you so much. Go to the frontier, get a cinnamon roll for me.
My son went to school in Albuquerque for a year, so we go visit them. They have these cinnamon rolls the size of your head. At this restaurant near campus at the University of New Mexico.
So, thanks so much for the call. Appreciate it. That opens up a phone line for you: 855-212-4227-855-212-4277. 227. All right, I want to get to college football.
So much has been made about NIL. And so much has been made about the portal. And the one thing that I think we could see coming Is the folks that run college football? are dreaming. And they're hoping.
And one day they would like to turn college football into The NFL 2.0. And they're well on their way. They see how much money the National Football League brings in and they want a piece of it. You've already seen the destruction of the Pac-12 conference? As we've known it for the last forty, fifty years, that's gone.
And if the Pac-12 conference can break up, Then who's to say all these other conferences won't one day break up as well.
So I've got A little exercise for you. I've got a little exercise for you. 888-710-58. four four seven six 888-710-4476. I got a little exercise for you.
Do you think your college football team is going to make it. into whatever we whatever comes up whatever comes in next. Do you think your college football team is going to be one of the teams that would make it into This forty team Superconference. Because right now There's a lot of people. There's television executives, there's former television execs.
There's sports marketing folks. And right now they're all lobbing. Not the conferences, but Not the NCAA. but they're lobbying the athletic directors and the school presidents saying, Hey, you know, um I think you could be part of the super team. the super conference and we're going to make so much money Your athletic department is going to be able to withstand.
All the NIL uh that you're doling out and paying and paying the players. And if you're an athletic frictor like Wait a minute, if I can make this much money and secure my athletic department, because most athletic departments are running. about a twenty million dollar deficit right now. Because they are seeing their donations. Because if I'm one of your big boosters and I have $100,000 I'm going to give to the school every year.
That I've just automatically read that check. My business does well. I'm a proud alumni. Here's $100,000.
Well, now they need now they need money for the NIL collective to pay the players. And I only still have $100,000, so I'm going to give $50,000 to pay the players, $50,000 to the school. The schools have a shortfall now, and they're going to need to figure out how to get past that. And that's why a lot of these athletic directors looking at You know? Maybe this Maybe this whole idea of a super league is not a bad thing because I'd be one of those teams that would make it.
So the big question is How many teams that are so excited in the SEC or those of you in the big ten that gobbled up Oregon and Washington and USC and UCLA. Are you going to be part of this next big super conference if the Big Ten and the SEC merge? Would they keep you? I mean, you were rooting. to bring in the University of Southern California, make it part of your footprint.
And you're bringing you were bragging that, oh, let's bring in Rutgers so we could have New York, and let's bring in Maryland so we could have DC. For those original conference members, will you? Being The next version of this of these conferences because there's some people That have been standing there. Yeah, SEC, SEC. But what's said and done?
You're going to be standing on the sideline, and they're going to turn on you, they're going to kick you to the curb, and you're going to go, What happened? You're going to be the next Suwannee. I mentioned Swanny a couple times. I saw this video. About all the teams that originally had been in the SEC.
I think Tulane had been in there. Suwannee was one of the original colleges. In the SEC, and they both decided. You know, this whole athletics over academics, we're g we're going to be at academic school. and they both left the SEC, And you see everybody else has joined that SEC.
including LSU, completely eclipsed them. and become these major universities. and you see too lane And you see little Swatty never kept up with LSU.
Well Some of you aren't going to be able to keep up with this next iteration of what we're going to get. for college sports.
So think about this. If you're in the Big Ten Will you be playing college football? 20 years from now. Not as easy as you think, because I'm going to throw some names out there, and you're not going to like it. But you have to understand there's a good chance that you could be one of those teams.
They get caught up in they call it destructive capitalism. There's some teams out there that I I'm sorry, you're a buggy whip manufacturer. There's some teams out there that are AOL. Which just disconnected their dial-up service. I'm not sure how many people actually had AOL dial-up, but at one time we all had an AOL account, and now we're.
We don't. There's some schools out there that are basically VCRs. Or Cable television. And we know what happened to them. Time's moved past him.
They couldn't keep up. And and and they don't matter anymore.
So Tell me, what school do you think is really AOL? That 20 years from now, we're not even going to remember that they played football. Number for you to join us 888-710-4476, 888-710-4477-7777777. 44, 76, the number for you to join us. All right, let me give you.
So I made this list up. Did some research and Here's the ones that I think guaranteed We'll make it. No matter what, they will play college football forever. They're too big, they're too powerful, and for the most part... There's some of the schools that are driving.
Gobbling up all the money.
So here are my blue blood top 10 locks, no debate. They run the sport, they will be behind all of this. When we jump to dissolving the SEC Dissolving the Big Twelve, dissolving the ACC. And what is one thing going on? Getting rid of the SEC, Big Ten, they're all going to go away one day, and we're going to get this 40-team super conference.
Here are your blue bloods no matter what. These are walks that they will be the kings of college football. And by the way, I've said this on the air before, and I'll just remind you. The rich are going to get richer, and the poor are going to get poor. These are the richest blue bloods that are only going to get more powerful.
In this next iteration of college football that people are planning right now. with school and university presidents, okay? Number one team in the country. That'll rule college football. University of Alabama.
Number two will be Georgia. Number three, Ohio State Number four MISHIGAN Number five Texas Number six, Oklahoma. Number seven, Notre Dame Number eight USC Number nine, Louisiana State University. At number 10, Florida State. These are the schools.
that will rule college football. for now until eternity. They're going to be the ones they're going to push us into this forty team Super League. Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan. Texas.
Oklahoma, Notre Dame, LSU. USC Florida State. Those are the ten blue bloods that are going to rule college football the same way the Cowboys and the Patriots rule the National Football League. Who's in the second ten slots? that they're gonna survive, but they're not gonna be the blue bloods, but They'll still keep playing.
We'll do that for you coming up next. And then I'm going to get to the ones that are just right on the bubble. And I'm going to tell you the schools that I don't think are going to make it in college football. 20 years from now. And some of them are going to disappoint you?
And by the way, if your team doesn't make it on this list, Your entire athletic pro program will go away anyway. And I'll just tell you one of the teams I have on this list that aren't going to make it. are the Duke Blue Devils. How's that for a shocker for you, America? You want to comment?
I'll take your telephone calls 888-710-487. 4476-888-710. 4476. I'm Rich Rare sitting in tonight for JR. This is the Infinity Sports Network.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. Here's Rich Herrera. All right, they're almost at the half in Brazil. The Chargers leading the Chiefs ten three. of the ball game being played uh internationally.
It's the second game of the season.
Now, I feel bad, Ryan, because I'm about to break some people's heart. And you're going to get telephone calls all next week. Hey, JR, did you hear what that idiot Herrera said when he filled in for you on the night of that Brazilian game? That my football team is not one of the blue bloods in college football. It might not even exist in 20 years.
So, Ryan, you have that to look forward to. People will be complaining about this segment for probably about three weeks. Oh gosh. Three weeks is a lot. Yeah, so that's how much I'm going to make people mad.
'Cause these are uncomfortable questions. But this is absolutely coming Because Unless you're a Pac-12 fan, You think that your college is safe? And your conference is safe. I will tell you this. As a Pac twelve fan, Anything is possible.
I said this to somebody the other day. I've only been defeated once in my life. I've lost plenty of times. I've been knocked to my rear end more often than I care to admit. But as far as actually being defeated where I I have to just tap out seed.
You win, I lose, and you've defeated me. the only time I've ever been felt defeat in my entire life Where there is no tomorrow, there's no coming back, there's no getting up, there's no dusting yourself off. is when I was working in Tucson, Arizona. battling to try to keep the Pac-12 alive. And the Pac-12 died in lost the battle.
And everybody who was all excited. is not going to be because some of these schools aren't going to survive. into this next iteration of college football. Number for you to join us is 888-710-4476. 888-710-4476.
Here are my Blue Bloods. No debate. They run the sport. They will be the cornerstone The backbone of this ultimate super league that college football is heading towards. Alabama?
Georgia Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, University of Southern California, Louisiana State University, and Florida State. My next ten They're going to make it because they're big T V markets. and their NIL machines. University of Oregon, Nike U, is going to make the next cut. UCLA will make it.
Not because of the campus, the football program, simply because they're in the LA T V Market. University of Miami, I have ranked thirteen in this power forty of schools that are going to make this next iteration of college football. Texas A and M will be number fourteen. Penn State is fifteen? Tennessee I have at 16.
Followed by Florida. Michigan State Washington And maybe North Carolina. Those are ones that should make The cut. into this super conference of football. Who else?
Well, we'll tell you that in just a second. But let me go to Scott and Knoxville. You're next on the Infinity Sports Network. Hello. Thank you.
But I I think you have a major omission from the top ten, and that's Tennessee Volves. Tell me what top five winning program in history.
Okay, top five winning programming. Are you now? Listen, this is not a diss on Tennessee. But this is cold hard facts of business, the the professional business of college football. Which of those schools, so here's my top five.
Money makers run the sport. Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas. You tell me which of those top five you take out to put on the vaults. Alabama has a horrible non aisle. Um Alabama's Alabama's a national brand.
They are, but they hell don't have the money, so they're not going to be. Um In the future. Um Alabama's a national brand. That's had one of the most successful runs through multiple generations and multiple decades. I'm not taking Alabama out to put Tennessee in.
That's in the past. Tennessee has a wonderful NIO program.
Okay, what have they won? How many national championships do they have?
Well, ninety eight was our last one. I think they claimed three, four. How many is Alabama? Right, because this isn't about the SEC or anything else. Because remember, every rule, Scott, is now going to be broken in college football.
Everything's going to be reimagined. Everything that you've ever held dear about the Southeastern Conference and your university doesn't mean anything to these people. They're going to destroy college football as we know it. And it's all about how much money you can bring in, what kind of TV revenue you can bring in, what kind of national following do you have. It's like they're going to elevate you, and they want you to be.
And the same value as an NFL franchise. Tell me Knoxville, Tennessee. Knoxville, Tennessee. Would you be one of those major brands? Yes, and that's my point.
From this point forward, Is what what I'm speaking of. Alabama. If to fall off the map. They don't have the money, they don't have the uh the graduates, you know, they don't have the NIL. Tennessee does.
Um Alabama's definitely not going to be one.
Now, in the in the past, of course, But from this point forward, like you said, it's changing.
So And this point forward. Alabama is going to file out. They don't have the donors. Do they have the national following? They do, they have.
Um From this point forward though, like you say, with the money, Changing it's going to change everything? Yes, it is. And Alabama is going to fall out. They just do not have The donors. I'm Oregon.
'Cause there'll probably be pirate as well. With the donate, you know, yeah.
Well, see, that's the interesting about Oregon. I have them on my list simply because I had to put an IKEU in there. What happens post-Phil Knight donating money hand over fist? Will he endow them to continue to have that kind of Nike money coming into the University of Oregon? Because Oregon's an interesting school.
You talk about the donors and the money that comes in. Or again, The Nike School. Uh is a little Eugene. Portland is their television market. I've been there before to call games.
It takes you forever to get to Eugene. It's not easy to get to. It's not a huge TV presence. The only thing they have going for them is Nike money. Exactly.
You you're correct on that. Yes. And you're right. The money runs out with one donor. But Tennessee has a few.
The Haslams, you know, of course.
Okay. The that you're right. The money's gonna change. Unless they stop this and, like you say, go to the NFL model, it's Going to be out of control. It already is out of control.
Well, they're going to go to the NFL model, they're going to pay the players. Uh By the way, if I'm Tennessee. If I'm Alabama of and I'm Georgia, why am I carrying Vandy? What did they bring to the party? Exactly.
Mississippi State. What does Mississippi State bring to the party? Exactly. Kentucky, what did they bring to the party? Because this is all predicated upon.
Football, football, football.
So that's why I said Duke University. I'm already going to tell you, Duke. Your athletic department and all those championships and everything, Coach K. That's all going to go away because when Duke football goes away, you're not going to be able to pay for everything else that you're doing. But they the Kentucky and Luke.
would both have to pay with basketball and does not make it doesn't make them that money.
So that you're right. Yeah, they're doomed.
So there's a lot of schools that are doomed right now. I get it. I get the power of Tennessee. I get the Vaul Navy. I just don't know if I'd put them in the top 10.
I have them in the top 20, but I don't have them in the top 10. As far as power programs go. Um Right. Maybe. Maybe I get it.
Yeah. But again, this is kind of shocking to hear when you say. Hey, listen, some of these big-time programs, they're not going to make it. and their athletic department will eventually close up and go away. Yes, and the Texas schools, I agree with you on that.
The oil money, that's going to help, of course. Yeah. But I get it. Tennessee. We we do.
We have a great athletic director, Danny White, and Oh, listen. Hey, I pull for Coach Heipel. I pull for the orange. I pull for the checkerboard. But let me ask you this: if you want to talk about the power of the T, which T is more powerful?
The Burt Orange T of Texas or the Vols Orange of Tennessee? We I will I will admit we should be behind Texas. With the oil that the money they have. Texas is going to be top five every year. There's no doubt about it.
Now the one thing I have to say will as well. Right. The one thing I will tell you about Tennessee though is the way that businesses are moving into Tennessee. The economy of the state of Tennessee, and I and I live in Virginia now, so I see it. I mean, Ian Al Burgers is moving their corporate headquarters to Tennessee.
It seems like everybody's moving to Nashville. That's only going to increase the value of Tennessee. And the bigger, more people that move in, and the bigger the state becomes, the more powerful that Tennessee volunteer orange becomes. The street. And the Haslams have carried us for quite a while.
Um The NFL that dabbling in that, which is not very going very well with Cleveland, but uh Yes, uh You're right. And a lot of car dealerships are loc located in Chattanooga and around that area as well.
So That will help, no doubt. 100%. Hey, Scott, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Let me go to Lee and Cincinnati next.
Oh, wait a minute. I fat-fingered that. I'm going to push that, and then I'll get Lee in Cincinnati.
Now I got you. Lee, there you are. Welcome. You're on the Infinity Sports Network. Hello.
Hey, thanks, Rich. That what you're saying, like with the top 20 teams, this isn't what I called in for, but I just gotta say this real quick. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And as much as I love the Gators, and I can say, yeah, they are the only Collins that has won a national championship in the three major sports. Since the year 2000, that doesn't matter.
drives everything. And that's why He says where's Miami? ahead of Florida, of course, because there's more money in my By I mean that there is In Gainesville. It's all about economics, but that's where I'm interested. Hold on a second.
That's why I'm interested with the Florida Gators. Gainesville's a small college town. Miami is this huge, ginormous, thriving city. The the state of Florida has to split three different ways. And my my wife's a Miami Hurricane fan.
So I pull for the canes, and we've got friends that are Gator fans. We've got friends that are Knowles fans. It'll be interesting to see in the future, 20 years from now, will the state support? All three schools, especially the one in Gainesville, that's not playing in the state capitol and is not playing in the major market of Miami. No, and with what you're saying, you're absolutely right.
Am I afraid that That's going to happen to the Gators if this model goes like this and this happens. The Gators, yeah, they've got a great strong football team right now, but. Let's face it, the way the world, what you're talking about, I think the Gators are going to go away. There'll be just be four staked in Miami. Why?
Because those are the two big hubs. like I said, the state capital and the economic capital of the state. Right there, and the US University of Florida Gators are in the middle. I'm afraid that they might be the odd man out.
Well, and it's so amazing because you're talking about the Florida Gators. We're talking about the swap, one of the greatest venues you can ever watch in college football. Here's the other part. Why wouldn't USF, the University of South Florida, plays in Tampa. They're building an on-campus stadium.
They have a Tampa TV market, which is top 20. Why wouldn't they be able to eclipse one day? They actually have more kids. um at UCF and USF than they have at Florida, Florida State.
So, if Orlando is an up-and-coming market, and now they have an on-campus stadium, University of South Florida's got an on-campus stadium, and this becomes about television money. Could either one of those schools usurp? Little old Gainesville.
Well, I think so. But it's it's kind of like with what you were asking about. Alabama, Tuscaloosa. It's It's not a huge city at all, but it is. University of Alabama, and that is one of the major brands as opposed to the previous caller about Tennessee, the fact that Knoxville is a big city.
It's got a big Um following the University of Tennessee does, but it's not as much of a brand as Alabama. See that that's what it all boils down to. You've got brands right now that are going to carry certain colleges How about Money is what rules everything. Alabama, luckily, the thing about them is they are the biggest brand.
Now, was Staben gone? That's going to be. to be seen. I mean, everybody loves a winner.
Now sleep and gone. How's Alabama going to do desk? Yeah. Predicate everything that goes off from now on with Alabama and with football, and whether they stay where they are at the top or whether they go down economically. That's just all it is.
Like what you said, it's all about money, it's all about the brand.
Well, here's the other part: the fan that was calling in about Tennessee, this just kind of popped into my head as we're talking, Lee. You live in Cincinnati. Would the Bearcats ever be able to supplant We uh the Bengals as far as popularity goes. No. Because I don't think this I don't think a city Like Alabama is big.
Mainly because there weren't a lot of NFL franchises down in the south, so they all gravitated towards college football because you didn't have the Saints down there originally, you didn't have the Buccaneers down there originally, you didn't have some of these schools, some of these NFL cities, so everybody watched college football. If you're Tennessee, Can you go big when you're competing with and these colleges eventually want to compete with the National Football League. If I've got to compete with the Tennessee Titans, can I do that in Knoxville and still claim Nashville and all that money in television revenue? Actually, I think so, and the only reason I say that is. Because I grew up in the South.
I grew up in the state of Florida. I know when they, and it's not a joke, but they say that it just means more College football is the overlording God. In the Oh, 100%. I live baseball more than pro football more than anything. Right.
Now, see, I lived in St. Petersburg. I lived in Tampa Bay.
So I know that, you know what, as much as people love the Buccaneers, as much as people like the Buccaneers. They loved the Gators. I can walk up and say anything I want about the Buccaneers. Nobody's going to say two words to me. I say anything bad about the Gators in that part of the country, them's fighting words.
Oh, most definitely. By that same token, that's why it's sad that like what you said with the economics of the game. Where do I think Florida would be able to withstand it with Miami and With Florida State. No. because you're gonna got two different directions and it's gonna pull it apart.
Okay. is the best way to put that, even though we're talking about what my opinion is The most uh It's the proudest sports team in the college ranks in the state of Florida. But reality is reality. 100%. But but but that's why with when it was saying it's all about money and this is what I wanted to say real quick about you're asking about The games over in Europe and in Brazil.
Those do anything to further the NFL? Absolutely not. Those are just a cash grab for the owners. There's doing absolutely nothing for the fans in America. In fact, I think what they're doing is they're laughing at the fans American saying, ha ha, we can do whatever.
Yeah. You're still going to come pay and still come to come watch instead of trying to help American fans out to give us more of what we love, which is a game of NFL football. I just can't stand it. There's some kid that's not going to go to, that didn't go to his first NFL game today. Because they're playing in Brazil.
Exactly. And how many more, how many people are going to come from? Built to Washington, NFL in the United States.
Well that that's why they're hoping But that's why they're trying to put the beachhead down there because eventually they would like to have teams in Brazil and Mexico and throughout Central and South America. They'd like to have teams in Europe. And if they did that, then they just increased the value of these franchises. This, like you said, It's not a small cash grab, it's a huge cash grab.
Well, it certainly is, but then it won't work because they've already tried it with World League of American Football. All right, they tried something very similar to that. And it w it totally bombed.
So I don't see how they think that this is going to be any different. Because they'll put it in. Because they're going to put NFL teams in there. They'll put NFL teams in there, not minor league football teams. They think that they put the product of the NFL in there that people are going to watch.
We'll see. Hey, I got a run, Lee. Thank you very much for the call. Great, great insight. That opens up a phone line for you: 888-710-4476.
888-710-4476. Marco Belletti, it's halftime right now in Brazil. He's got the score for you. Here's your Infinity Sports Network Sports Flash. Why does every recipe I try need 18 ingredients, including a jar of something paste I'll never use again, but will sit in my fridge for nine months?

Here's Rich Herrera. I feel like I'm letting JR down tonight. Because I have no idea who the halftime show entertainment is at the Brazilian game tonight. All I know is. that the Chargers leading ten to six over the Kansas City Chiefs They just did a halftime show which I I didn't have the sound up, but it was uh Brazilian axe 'cause they were playing the San Paulo.
But I have a feeling that JR would be a lot hipper to know who the person that was singing And dancing was tonight, Ryan. Yeah, to be fair, I didn't even know there was a halftime show until you brought it up during the break.
So I don't know if that's on me. Not researching ahead of time? No, no, no. There was a halftime show. I just didn't know who the entertainer was.
But yeah, you're like, who's Carol G? I'm like, why is he bringing up Carol G? I feel like that's a name that. And I was like, oh, okay, that makes a lot more sense that they're bringing an Aladdin artist to Right, because it's in Brazil.
So that obviously you wouldn't put somebody on that wasn't Brazilian to showcase the country of Brazil. And I love Brazil. I think it's a great country. And it provides one of my favorite types of foods. In the entire world.
You know what that is, right? Uh I'm swimming pineapple because she was wearing pineapples. No. No, I'm not even going to say that. Never mind.
I'm going to leave that alone. Don't want to get in trouble. No, Brazilian steakhouses. Oh, Fogo de Chow. Fogo de Chau, Texas Day, Brazil.
Have you been to one? No, not at all. But I've had people tell me it's thrilling. It's a great experience. Oh my God.
If I if I ever if I ever get convicted And they're gonna put me in the chair? I would ask for my last meal to be from a Brazilian steakhouse. All you can eat. Isn't that all you can eat? Yeah, right.
It's all you can eat meat.
So you sit down. And they've got this incredible over-the-top salad bar that some people just go in. and have as a meal. Right, so they have They have ev it's like three hundred things on a salad bar.
So you go up there, you get it, then they'll have um a serving dish of Of beans. White rice. And usually, something else, maybe they have a soup, and then you sit down. And they bring you Uh fried plantains. And mashed potatoes.
And then they bring you usually like cheese cheese rolls, like the kind They're they're they're little biscuits, cheese biscuits, right? And then you have on your on your table You have a coaster. And it's either red or green. And if you want Them to bring you meat, you flip it over to green, boom, double down. and these dudes walk out with meat on a skewer.
Ryan. And it's all you can eat. They have top sirline, bottom surline. They have this thing called. which is Really, a gift from the god the meat gods.
It's so delicious. They've got ribs. They have chicken, they have bacon wrapped filet. And as long as this card is up green, these dudes must get paid by the table because they hustle from table to table and just carve this meat on a skewer and put it on your plate. And you can just inhale it and inhale it, and you can eat literally.
all day long and they don't kick you out.
So if we're taking into that count with the last meal ever, Could you technically eat forever? I might, you know what, that's probably why I'd want to have Brazilian steakhouse dinner for my last meal. Oh, it's incredible. It's incredible. And I've sat there with my brother trying to have an eating contest in a Brazilian steakhouse.
And my late father looked at both of us and said, You both are idiots, and you're going to end up in the hospital. If you eat anymore, stop it, knock it off. I declare it a tie.
Well, you got to watch it. It's a tie because the sodium count and all the stakes go. Oh, yeah, yeah, you're in big trouble.
Now, there are, you know, there's national chains, then there's local ones. In Orlando, near the parks, there's a couple local Brazilian steakhouses. They're not part of a chain. More mom and pop. We had one in Florida that we would go to as well.
So there's every once in a while you'll find a mom-and-pop Brazilian steakhouse. They're incredible. They're incredible. So, I am a big fan of the Brazilian culture. Just to be able to eat all-you-can-eat steak.
I'm going to have to go to one this weekend now that I was talking about it. All right, uh, as we finish up the program today, 888-710-44-76, if you want to sneak in a call, Bart Winkler's coming up next. Normally, I fill in for Bart, so it's normally JR throwing to me, filling in for Bart, but today I get to throw it to Bart Winkler, so that's kind of cool. on the program. All right, so we gave you the top 20.
Of the schools that can make it. into this 40 team super league here's the next version So we had Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, USC, LSU, Florida State, top 10. The next ten. Big T V markets or NIL machines. Oregon, UCLA, Miami, Texas A ⁇ M.
Penn State, Tennessee, Florida. Michigan State, Washington, North Carolina. Tradition, big stadiums, passionate fan bases. Clemson? Nebraska.
Auburn, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Maybe Arkansas. Iowa, Virginia Tech. Old Miss Maybe Mississippi State. up and coming programs that can make it. Colorado T C U Utah, Louisville, U CF massive student of body.
Arizona State, Baylor, Cincinnati, NC State, Kansas.
Now, here's the ones that. Yeah. TCU, did they buy their way in? Absolutely. SMU, they'd buy their way in.
Dallas is a big market. Although you already have Texas Texas A and M in there. Here are schools that might not make it into that next league. Pip What do you got for me, Pit Panthers? Would you be able to.
qualify. Would people care enough about you to put you into that league? West Virginia, I don't think you make it into one of the top 40 teams in the country that would play in that Super League. K-State. The little apple, I don't think you make it into that next league.
Texas Tech. Nope. Illinois? Nope. Missouri?
Nope. Duke? I don't think so. Boston College? Nice try, but your football program won't make it.
Wake Forest, no way. Syracuse, nope.
So if you think about that, There are teams right now in the Southeastern Conference As much as they've lobbied and grown to this ridiculously big thing. There's a good chance in the SEC. Missouri. doesn't make it. Vandy doesn't make it.
Kentucky doesn't make it. Arkansas doesn't make it. Big Ten. Do you really think Indiana is going to make it to that next level? Illinois, Minnesota, Rutgers, Maryland?
Purdue or Northwestern?
Some of these big conferences that have broken up college football as we know it. You're going to see some of your members get kicked to the wayside as well. Anyway, that's it for me, Rich Rare. Thanks to JR for letting me fill in tonight. Ryan, thank you very much.
Marco Belletti, Rich Ackerman, thank you guys very much as well. Bar Winkler's coming up next here on the Infinity Sports Network. You open the fridge. There's nothing there.
