4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. You can find me on the internet. I am at JR Sport Brief. Thank you for people.

driving around in their cars. People delivering food, delivering people. Shout outs to the Uber drivers, the Lyft drivers. People in the robotic ones now well, it's not all over the place. Yeah.

We we got those here in Atlanta. They're like everywhere now. Botcha, those, what's it called? The Waymos, they are everywhere, bruh. Everywhere.

Aren't they more expensive than regular. I don't think so, no. I think it's the same price. Same price for I'd rather have a real driver. Why?

W w w why? Because it's safer. I think. You you think? I'd assume it'd be safer with the real drih.

I don't know. I trust the driver more than the computer at this point.

Okay, right. Listen, I can't go outside. I don't care what time of day it is. I care if it's early in the morning, lunch time, late at night. These cars are outside all day.

It's not like, hey, it's 5 o'clock. Let's. You know, let's shut it down. It's not 10 o'clock at night. Let's shut it down.

These driverless cars are outside all night. day, all night. All they need to do is stop to get a charge. They just keep going, man. I have the question, though.

How do they know? Like, I know you can tell when the battery is low in a car. Come on. Does it like have a home, like a home base? Yeah, it's just a business.

It goes back to a place and they get charged up. Yeah. Ugh. I I like if it's on a drive And it starts to die. It's not going to.

It's going to. What do you think? It's not a human. See, it's smart. It's not going to get down to the thing, the gas goes.

You need gas, and you're driving your car in the highway going, I think I can make it. I think I can make it. I think I can make it. It's not it's not a dumb human. The car has got a No, it's not going to kick you out.

It's going to go, hey, I could drive for three more hours, but you know what? I'm gonna go back to the place and get a charge. Like, why would it come on now? It's not a human. Humans do that.

I can make it, I can make it, I can make it. And then you gotta call your wife, your husband. To come bring you gas on the side of the road because you thought you could make it. No, come on. Not these cars.

And they're aggressive too. These Waymos? I was driving by one of these things. If there's nobody there, I will move my car. Like, I like to move in traffic, especially if people don't know where they're going.

Like, I ain't got time for that. I was taking too long for the damn Waymo. The Waymo went around me, and I had to go, excuse me, what? You got cut off by a robot? Yeah.

I'm like, a robot just went by me going, yo, you're too slow. I'm like, get out of here, man. They're stupid ass robot cars. I'm going to get in one day and I'm going to document it. I'll live.

I'll be back. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. Hey, somebody that's coming back, I guess he's coming back. At least he'll be able to start this season.

I just told you, Rashi Rice. The NFL said come to the office on September 30th. and then we'll find out what his punishment is, so he'll be able to go out and play. the first four games of the regular season for the Chiefs. before I assume Roger Goodell says, All right, now you gotta sit next to me.

He'll be gone for, I don't know, four games. I think he'll get maybe six. They'll be without Rashi Rice. For quite Some Time. No, he gotta pay for it.

Two weeks ago, Rashi Rice, he spoke to the media. And he talked about the possibility of being suspended. Listen to this. Honestly, it's still in the works. My legal team is handling that.

All I can do is focus on what I can control right now, and that's me doing what I do best right here on the field.

Alright. He'll be on the field to start the season, and then he obviously is going to miss some time. It stinks. Speaking of missing time, We learned about some injuries uh today. Got a couple of guys who have gone down.

Sam Laporta. is going to miss some time for the Detroit Lions. We don't know how much time. We don't know the injury. Because in preseason and training camp, the teams don't have to disclose.

The exact injury. Listen to Dan Campbell tell you about one of the best tight ends in the NFL. He gone. Probably the guy Laporta will be down. It's not major, but he will miss a little bit of time here.

They were pretty good though. Yeah, we don't want to be a very good one. That's the first time he sounded down. Yes, he had one less cup of coffee today. Dan Campbell typically sounds like he is through the damn roof.

Matt LaFlore, I guess he was in a better mood. Jordan Love had that surgery on his hand. They're trying to get him all set and ready so he can take on the Lions in in week one of the NFL season. That'll be September seventh between these two teams. This is what Matt LaFleur had to say about Jordan Love and his hand surgery.

Surgery went well and he's in great spirits and he's here with us so yeah now it's just about putting in the work to get to get the thumb rehabbed. Is there can you s start calling right away or you know I'm like Mm-hmm. I wouldn't say it right away, but we anticipate there'll be some sort of participation next week. Man, that dude's going to play week one, okay. And by the way, how about this?

Good news if you're a fan of the Rams. Or maybe it doesn't matter. Apparently Matthew Stafford? He he's gonna he's gonna start throwing a football. over the weekend with the Rams.

I mean, we've heard that a lot. Oh, he's going to practice. Oh, he's going to train. Oh, his back says no. And if you had a bad back, or if you've had a bad back, you certainly understand.

Backs are tricky. A back is the reason that Michael Parsons is not participating. in camp right now 'cause he has a bad back. Yeah. That's his reason for for sitting out.

Man, can can can we we gotta be so overt about all this? We know why he ain't playing. Stop the nonsense. Cut it out. Uh, speaking of not playing, Michigan Wolverines, they're going to be playing football in a few weeks.

But to morrow, Friday, we're going to find out what type of punishment the Wolverines are gonna face. for sign stealing. For covering up sign stealing, for deleting evidence, for potentially lying, also for. improper recruiting recruiting violations during COVID. Gonna find out to morrow.

The guy who won't be punished is Jim Harbaugh because he's coaching the Chargers right now. He's Teflon. This man won a championship and said. I'm out. Like I ain't sticking around to be a To be punished.

Somebody who's still around is the head coach of the Wolverine, Sharon Moore. He already is being punished two games in a regular season. slapping themselves on the wrist to try to Bring down part of the punishment. And this is what Sharon Moore had to say two days ago. about being suspended.

He's like, I'm not thinking about the future. Today, not tomorrow. That's all I'm worried about. worry about our players right now and The man upstairs has blessed me with the ability to be here, so that's I'm just worried about today. That's it.

Mm-hmm. On the left, Bob? Just to follow up, I know you said you can't talk about the NCA, but obviously a resolution has to be coming fairly soon. Is that something that you say you don't think about it, but do you think over the program it lingers and will it be a relief when it's over, however it ends? Today, not tomorrow.

That's it. I'm just thinking about tomorrow.

Well, tomorrow will be the that's two days ago. Today, well tomorrow, you're going to be suspended. Bocce, he got to get more than two games, right? He deleted all those text messages out of his phone. I would say they add an extra two, so he gets four.

Now, do they start the season with the two games, or do they like, you got to, right? I'd assume since they already gave the self-imposed is three and four. I think he's going to go one and two from the NCA. The one, two, three, and four. Yes, make it clean.

Yeah, they were uh They were trying to be smart. They opened up their season against New Mexico.

Okay, wow. Yeah, not good. And then they take on Oklahoma. Oklahoma will smoke them unless they're. Yeah.

Unless Oklahoma's quarterback is is in his own trouble gambling out here. That'll definitely be a loss for Michigan.

So Michigan, if if Sharon Moore is suspended for the first four games. He'll miss the season opener in two weeks against New Mexico. Then he will take on the sooners. Then he has central Michigan. And then he has Nebraska.

Those will be the first four games. that the Wolverines play uh this upcoming season. In Jamaharba he will be in Brazil. Bacha, how do you how do you get away well, It just takes the NCAA like forever to punish anybody.

So he will be in Brazil and Sharon Moore will be at home crying. Basically.

Sounds like a good idea for Jim Horrible, but like either way, I think they'll subconsciously say, Jim Horrible, if you ever come back, your skeletons in the closet will come out. Yeah, man.

Well, we know that guy ain't going back. Jim Harbaugh's next stop is to retirement. He's going to coach these Chargers. Until they get sick of him, and then when they're sick of him, he's just gonna retire. How and he's not old.

What is he, 62 you think he is, Jim Harbaugh? Let's see. He's the younger of the Harbaughs, which is surprising the way he sounds. He looks old, he's been beat up. Oh my God, he's 61 years old.

He's sixty one. Eh, he may have one more NFL job in him, possibly. His his other brother's only one year old or so. We'll see. You'll stick around.

Speaking of uh somebody coming back. Odell Beckham Jr., there was a rumor. You talk about how nasty the internet is. One of these gotcha accounts that tries to trick and deceive people. being fake Adam Schefter, fake this guy.

Somebody put out a message and said that Odell Beckham Jr. is just getting ready to retire. Hang them up. He's not currently on a roster right now. We know Odell Beckham Jr., he's had his own history of knee and leg issues, dammit, since he came into the league.

He's like a Hall of he's a Hall of Fame talent, but the body Just did not hold up for it. He's going to turn 33 years old. He won a Super Bowl, but couldn't even finish out the game before he tours ACL with the Los Angeles Rams. And so He was with the Dolphins last year. Keep in mind.

He was with the Dolphins. He ain't play. The guy basically didn't play, he didn't do anything, he asked to be cut. And then he never played. He had nine catches for 55 yards.

And that's on the field with Jalen Waddell and Tyreek Yo.

So it was going to be hard-pressed. for him to see action. And so there have been rumors that He still wants to play. He wants back in the league. and that he's even sat down with Aaron Rodgers to say Hey, is there room for me on the Pittsburgh Steelers?

I think if you're the Steelers. No harm, no foul, right? If he's healthy, he can go, and if he's not, then Then so be it. Odell was having a chat on the Bill Maher podcast, and this is what he had to say.

So what about Aaron Rodgers? Love him. We've had conversations.

So, why don't you join the Steelers? That'd be great. Because he's on the Steelers now. I won't say that it's not a possibility, and I won't say that I haven't had any communications, but I also. Great coach.

You'd love to play for that. I love Tom and I was actually supposed to be drafted to this. No, well, he was supposed to be drafted as the Steelers. Man, you ended up on the New York Giants more than 10 years ago. Can't do anything about that.

Um Man, it's been a while. Since he's been healthy since he played. He played fourteen games. in Baltimore in 2023.

Okay. The year before that, God bless him, in 2021. He was able to play 14 games before he kind of got his way out of Cleveland. Remember that? Didn't play at 2022 at all as he rehabbed coming off of that AC out.

So if you think about it, Last year. I can't say he played. He was in nine games. Nine catches in nine games. Damn.

2023 for the Baltimore Ravens. He played 14 games coming off that surgery. 2022 he did not play. at all. 2021.

Before he complained his way out of Cleveland and went to Los Angeles, he played 14 games. The year before that, 2020 in Cleveland, he played seven. Like his his career has just been pockmarked all over the place with injury. leg injuries primarily. And we're supposed to believe that Odell is going to be better.

Maybe he has one last stand left in him. I just. I'm not going to be confident in him in being a And nobody would. Being a number one you're like a number three receiver at this point. Be a deep threat.

Take it to the house every now and then. I'd say best case scenario, you can go give somebody 600, 700 yards. Best case. And maybe haul in two or three touchdowns, what he did a couple of seasons ago with Baltimore.

So. Out. Odell? No harm, nor foul. If I were Odell, I'd be looking at a team like, yeah, the Steelers.

I'd look at a team like the Kansas City Chiefs. They are going to be missing Rasheed Rice, but I would look at him as If he's here, great. If he can play, great. But I wouldn't count on anything. Nothing.

From old Dow. I just uh Disappointment always hurt. Lots of talent always hurt. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you, Coast to Coast, on the Infiniti Sports Network. 888-710-4ISN.

That's 888-710-4ISN. Speaking of a difference of opinion. Man, when you're a celebrity, when you're a celebrity athlete, when you're a superstar, Everybody has an ego, right? Everybody has their own thoughts and and concerns, and you got to get Two people together. and just try to go out there.

and make some magic.

Well Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. I told you about Wayne Rooney, who used to work for Tom Brady. And then Wayne Rooney wasn't happy with some comments about Tom Brady where he said, You're lazy. Wow, whoa. Wow.

Damn, Wayne Rooney might kick you in the ass that'll hurt a lot. And then we got other cases where we got a guy like Kyrie Irving. He's just like, I couldn't deal with playing with LeBron James. I wasn't ready. Like, whoa, wow.

Okay. You don't want to be second fiddle? What's wrong with you? And so things didn't work out. Before we hear about Tom Brady on Wayne Rooney and his work ethic.

Let's listen to Kyrie. 'Cause I guess it's the offseason. NBA players are still on podcasts. saying ridiculous things. And Kyrie just said.

Yeah, I I wasn't mature enough to play with LeBron James. Listen to what Kyrie said. When you're playing with somebody like Braun or somebody that you guys like to compare him to, it's a different animal. It's a different journey. You know what I'm saying?

Like you're automatically expected to be at the top of the charts, the top of the league. Every time you play with Braun, it's going to be a lot of media attention. It's going to be a lot of back and forth of narratives. It's going to be a lot of spun narratives. It's going to be a lot of politics.

It's going to be a lot of that a lot of people don't see in front of the camera. And for me, I was just a young person trying to figure it out. You know what I mean? It's not that I dislike playing with Bron at any point. time it was just literally it was my time to move on And that's what people got to accept.

They want a deeper, detailed dive in terms of what happened. It's like, it was my time to move on. No, my God. He's moved on plenty of places now, right? Come on.

The man moved on to the Celtics, and he moved on from the Celtics to the Brooklyn Nets. He moved on from the Brooklyn Nets. to the Mavericks.

Now he's still on the maps. Botcha, did I miss any place? For now, no, right? That's where he is. For now.

He's staying there. Oh. You're a nuts fan. Yes. You are you sick of the guy?

100%. After he came out a few weeks ago and said they should have cut me when I didn't want to get the shot. That's when I was like, okay, you you still hold this grudge After four or five years. That it's deep down in your soul that you still hate the franchise. Do you think it's a grudge, or he's just explaining how he felt a couple of years ago?

I think it's still a grudge. 100%. Josiah. Oh, Joe Sai, most definitely. He was mad at that.

His hometown team that he wanted to play for, that he said, at least. And he goes out there badmouthing the owners, badmouthing the team, saying they all weren't focused. It was a complete shot on the franchise. It's always everybody's, it's always somebody's fault except for y'all, right? Yeah.

People people don't look in the mirror. Wow. Kyrie Irving is he he's he's got time He's got time. And he's injured. He's not going to play.

God only knows when he's going to come back and play.

So, uh,. I think every month we'll have something different from Kyrie Irving as he rehabs. He will not be out there playing basketball. alongside uh Cooper flag. Uh meanwhile, I told you that We got some other legendary players that are just going at each other.

Wayne Rooney is a soccer legend. in the United Kingdom.

Okay. Tom Brady, we know what Tom Brady here is in States. Tom Brady's a football legend. Tom Brady got a lot of money.

Well, two years ago Tom Brady became one of the owners of Birmingham City. F C. It's a soccer team in the United Kingdom. And it's not Manchester City, it's not Man United, but this is a a lower level, okay? Wayne Rooney.

became the manager of the team not too long after Tom Brady became one of the partners.

Okay? Wayne Rooney was fired. just fifteen games later.

Alright, they gave him the boot. After he started the season and had nine losses, so he wasn't there a lot. All right. Wayne Rooney wasn't happy. that he got fired.

And let's just say Tom Brady. In a recent documentary. on Amazon Prime said that he could not stand Wayne Rooney. and didn't think he worked hard enough to be the manager of the club. Listen to what Tom Brady had to say about a legend.

Well, at different times, you always want to give people opportunities to succeed. And I have a tremendous amount of respect for Wayne and what he accomplished. He's one of the greatest players that's ever been on a pitch. And at the same time, I have very high expectations for what leadership looks like. And I really felt like.

um in the time that i had that you know we have to give everything we can to the players In terms of our time and energy and our commitment to seeing them succeed. And we found that in Chris. In our second season, who's done an incredible job as manager. He's been a great leader for the organization, and I'm very excited to see. how he continues to build on what he's already accomplished.

Oh my god, dear. Damn. Oh, Wayne Rooney, he's one of the greatest players ever, but he didn't work hard. Wow. And nobody's nobody's putting Wayne Rooney out here and calling him Sir Alex Ferguson from Manchester United, But it's it's not normal.

To hear uh and I guess maybe Tom Brady doesn't care because he's From the United States of America, it's rare to hear somebody bash another star, at least publicly. Like, that's. That's rough. And the thing is, Wayne Rooney, of course, he has his own show, his own podcast. Wayne Rooney just was like, I don't appreciate the guy.

Shut up. Am I going to have any issues with your work epic? I see that this week or last week. From Tom Brady, Alan. I think it was a very unfair comment.

I mean, when I went into Birmingham, um he was in a mess really. Hence, the fact that when in the players weren't really the players who could take the club forward, and I think. Tom came in once, which was the day before a game where the day is a little bit lighter, anyway. I don't think you really understood Football that well at the time. Maybe he does he does now.

I don't think he does. But what he does, but what he does understand is, you know, he's a hard worker. We know that.

So that's why I'm very disappointed with the comment because football is not NFL. NFL works for two months a year. Players do need rest as well. And so I think he was very unfair the way he's come out and portrayed that. And yeah, listen, I respect Tom Brady Masfly.

He's one of the greatest, if not the greatest athletes. Of all time. And so about you, Tom Brady doesn't understand soccer or football. And Wayne Rooney doesn't understand working hard. And so these guys hate each other's guts now.

Is that how this works? Yes, I think they both don't understand each other, and I think Wayne kind of alluded to it that The schedules are different.

So if you catch them on a wrong day, like soccer players, they play year-round, like he said. They're going to need. Injury rest recovery that's different from NFL players where it's like walkthroughs and simulation practices. It's not the same. But Brady being the psychopath he is, his TB12 method or the way he does it, maybe he thinks.

In a weird way, that all these football soccer players should be working 24-7. Man. Is he going to learn? He's not going to.

Well, he understands football. We know that.

I hope this doesn't Uh This is not going to foreshadow something with the Raiders, right? I think Tom Brady knows better given his status now on television. He ain't button in about. The rate is publicly, he has to already toe that line.

So maybe he wants to flex his muscle overseas. There's no repercussions. He can take a dump on Wayne Rooney and. And I don't know, maybe Tom Brady ends up being hated in the United Kingdom. They will certainly hate your guts.

I'm not all that sure that they embrace anybody. Coming over from outside. There's a lot of teams that have been bought by squads, not squads, by teams. individuals in the Middle East and and chics and what not. And then Tom Brady's a minority owner, so I wonder how this is being received in the UK.

It's like Tom Brady, why are you taking a a crap on Wayne Brady? If anybody's going to give Wayne Wayne some Wayne Brady some, excuse me, Wayne Brady, Wayne Rooney some crap, it's going to be us. What's Wayne? Bach, what's Wayne? Is he still Wayne Brady?

Is he even Let's Make a Deal? And he's used to the last comic standing. He's still hosting stuff on TV? Yes. You still got a job?

Yeah, he's still talented. Wow. I haven't seen wait does that show still come on where they uh No, that's long gone. 10 o'clock every morning in New York, at least. No, no, no, no, no, no.

There used to be that that that night show where it was like a skit show. Yeah, last last oh, last comic standing. No no, not that, not that. The other one. Uh Whose line?

Yes, that's line. Whose line is it anyway? I don't know. Yeah, that's still, it's on every now and then. Wow.

It's eight at eight seven ten four I S N. Uh maybe like our caller. This day in sports history, maybe it will relieve some stress and tension in my back.

Maybe it'll send tingles up my spine.

So let's go ahead and get started. Fact, back, back, back. Back in the days when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore. But some days I sit and wish I was a kid again. It's time for this day in sports history.

See, back in those days, we had radio and you couldn't see anything and it was primitive and lousy and we liked it. On the JR Sport Brief Show. I wish I was 50 years younger and I'd kick your ass. It is the JR Sport Brief Show on the Infinity Sports Network. Today is August 14th, 2025.

And this day in sports history, we're going to go back to 2003. The big old blackout. Yeah, we things were blacked out From like Canada to Ohio to New York City.

Okay, the blackout forced Shea Stadium, the home of the New York Mets. There was no Medson Giants game. They had to scrap it. They were going to have a big game. In in in Rucker Park.

In Harlem, New York, they were going to have. Shaquille O'Neal and Yao Ming out there playing in Harlem. They had to cancel that? Either blackout blacked out more. Than the power, especially in New York.

Let's listen to this documentary: Courtesy of Myers and Myers. There was a power failure in New York. northern New York or southern Canada. That affected the power grid as far east as Connecticut, as far south as New Jersey, and as far west as Ohio. One of the biggest cities in the world, completely shut down?

Everyone was just pretty much like sitting down on the curbs all over the city. I joined thousands of people that were trying to make their way home. Then it turned into like caveman times with the candles and the fires. It was fun to not have the TV on, not have a lot of the distractions that we're used to living with. People just started to have a really good time with it.

There was a party. There were people doing tribal dances around the fires, chanting. Almost like one of the best nights I've ever had. Uh no, there was nothing fun about the blackout. There was nothing fun about the blackout, not a damn thing.

I was watching TV. My brother was on the computer. The power went out. And then we just walked around the neighborhood. And then we walk back to the house.

And then we went to sleep and that was it. There was nothing fun about the blackout. Nothing. We got pizza and we went back inside. There was no air conditioning.

That blackout was miserable. Shut up. Anybody telling the blackout was fun is lying. That was in 2003. August 14, 2014.

Nothing nice here. Rob Manfred. He was elected as baseball's tenth commissioner. He won a three-man race. He succeeded.

Bud is ceiling. This is what Rob Manfred always says. parable with words. That's what he had to say about being elected Commissioner courtesy the AP. I have to say I'm tremendously honored.

By the confidence that the owners showed in me today, electing me to be the 10th Commissioner of Baseball. I agree with Bill. I have very big shoes to fill in following Commissioner Sealy. He has been a friend and mentor to me the entire twenty five years that I've been in the game. There is no question that I would not be standing here today if it were not for Bud.

And I hope That I will perform as the 10th Commissioner in a way that will add to his great legacy. Man, we went from Tweedo D to Tweedo Dub. How could we possibly do that? But we did.

Now Rob Manfred is still here. Damn, it's only been 10 years. Damn, feels like forever. August 14, 2016 Nussain Boat, the world's fastest man. He became the first guy to capture three straight 100-meter titles at the Olympics.

You ran a 9.81. in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. And take a listen, courtesy of what? The Olympics. Gatlin made a dynamic start and led at halfway.

Then Bolt turned on his magic to power to victory. Gappin second, DeGrasse third. Bolt had added a new chapter to his extraordinary career. refusing to panic under intense pressure. Is trademarked celebration now a familiar sight as the Jamaicans savoured this historic triumph?

His time 9.81 seconds. Uh The charismatic bolt had promised to put on a show. and had done just that. And now he tries to play soccer, good for him. Hey, August 14th, 2021.

Tyler Gilbert playing for the Diamondbacks. He became the fourth pitcher. And the first guy in almost 70 years to throw a no-hitter in his first big league start, okay, he helped the Diamondbacks beat San Diego seven to nothing. It was the eighth no hitter of the season. Yeah, we had a million of them in 2021.

Take a listen to this, courtesy of MLB. Tyler Gilbert. No hits through 8 and 2 thirds, one out away. Center field, Marte. Tyler.

Gilbert. Has thrown in no hitter. It is first career major league start. The first Diamondbacks pitcher. ever to throw a no-no in this ballpark and just the third in their history.

Yeah, that was the eighth no-hitter that season in Major League Baseball. Crazy. August 14th, 2024. Damn, it was. This is last year.

Aaron Judge. He hit his 300th Home run exactly a year ago. The Yankees beat up on the White Sox. Of course they did. They beat them.

Ten. To two. Hey, Aaron Judge did it faster than Ralph Keiner. And he also did it faster than Babe Ruth in that bats. Take a listen.

Permanent green light. A 3-0. Capital. Deep to left field history. Number 300 for Aaron Judge.

The fastest man. ever in Major League. Baseball. to reach the 300 home run plateau. Yeah, and that was Ryan Rucco from the Yes Network.

And there you have it: a few things that took place this day. in sports history. I have a feeling uh Aaron Judge is gonna finish in uh If he's healthy, he's going to get to like 600-plus home runs. That guy is a. He's a monster, and imagine if he started playing a little bit earlier, but he wasn't ready.

Six foot seven, swinging at everything. He's Crazy how he's just the best of the best. He's one of the best. And speaking of the best, I told you, Wayne Rooney can't stand Tom Brady. Tom Brady can't stand Wayne Rooney.

Greg Olson. The guy that Tom Brady took the job from, former tight end, the guy that most people liked on Fox, Greg Olson says, Yeah, we work together now, and I like the guy. What? Been a lot of speculation about our relationship, a lot of speculation about our working relationship. You and I have had many private conversations about it.

I think people would be surprised at the friendship and the relationship we've built over the last 12 months or so. I used to say something we used to try to preach with our kids all the time is. You can compete against people. But in order to prop myself up, I don't have to pull you down, right? There is enough, there is enough, you said it perfectly earlier.

You said the concept of team in an individual world, the concept of team had been lost, where, you know, high tide raises all ships, where if the team does great, There's room for multiple people to have success. Obviously, there's been a lot talked about with you and I at Fox and whatnot. I think, and I'm not patting ourselves on the back by any means. I'm just using it as an example where. You can be highly competitive and you can be highly motivated in a very competitive world that you and I now live in.

And still be incredible supporters of one another and still share information and still wanna see each other do well. Aw, that's sweet. And Tom Brady's a sweet man too. He might hate Wayne Rooney, but But he likes Greg Olson. He says, you know what?

I'm a broadcaster now until I quit and said I don't want the money anymore. But he says our relationships will last forever. This time will come and go and the articles will come and go but the only people that need to be cool are me and you 'Cause that's all that matters to me in my life.

So that's how I view it.

Well, damn, how aggressive? Botch, what was he doing? Was he eating during the interview? No, he was kind of just staring in his regular look of Tom Burridge, just angry. Yeah, angry, okay.

Well, I didn't know he liked anything besides football.

Now he likes Greg Olson, so I guess. Close enough. And money. He likes money too. Yeah, he likes money.

I don't know if he's going to collect all that money from Fox. Again, $37 a year. You got like eight more years left. I don't know if he's. Cashing all them checks, so we're gonna find out.

I take all that money. Sign me up. Hey, thank you so much to Jay Jaffe for joining us. Covers all things baseball for Fangrass. Thank you as well to Matt Derrick for joining us.
