There's just a lot. Go an o'er. I'll give you an update on Rashi Rice. Quinshawn Jutkins, Isaiah Bond, who didn't get drafted because of uh allegations of sexual assault. And now he's clear.
So we got a lot of updates. I'll give those to you in a second. Speaking of people who might be in trouble, could be in trouble. Michigan. The Wolverines, apparently, we're going to find out their punishment to morrow.
for that entire sand stealing scandal. We got some injuries in the NFL, guys healing up. We got Laporta injured for the Lions. Jordan Love had his surgery. The NBA, the schedule, came out today.
They're going to make Kevin Durant stand around and watch the Thunder hoist a banner. He's like, hey, I already beat y'all to it.
So what? Hey, we got Matt Derrick joining us from the Chiefs Digest. Talk about Travis Kelsey. who's been talking about his girlfriend forever. Talk about Rashid Rice.
Odell Beckham Junior might be back? For the Steelers? It's a possibility. We got J Jaff joining us. And talk some baseball.

You don't know what that is. I've run into Google. Yeah. Yeah, you've never you you have you ever physically picked up a newspaper. Uh I have back in the day and then I put it down because I I found it to be useless.
Okay. Back in the day.
Okay. Yeah. Five five years ago. No, worse than that. It was farther though.
We used it for uh we used to burn it on the fires.
Okay, all right, yeah, all right. I used to read the newspaper. A police blotter is a chronological log or record of incidents that law enforcement officers respond to. Back in the day, Botcher, you could pick up a newspaper and you could read the police blotter to know what the hell is going on. In your neighborhood.
So, what I'm about to read and what I'm about to share with you sounds like. A police blotter. Let's start off with some news that broke earlier today. This is in the NFL. This is for the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that went to the Super Bowl and got stomped up and got stomped down and got stomped left and right.
by the Philadelphia Eagles. Rashee Rice Yeah, this stupid idiot, and I got no problem calling him stupid idiot. He could have killed me or you, your mother. He could have killed anybody. He's drag racing and racing like an idiot.
in Dallas, crashed his car, ran away from the scene. And now the NFL is like, Hey dude, We're getting ready to punish you. Take a listen to this from CBS Sports HQ. This just then out of the NFL, Chiefs receiver Rashid Rice is expected to have his disciplinary hearing with the NFL on September 30th. That's according to ESPN.
He's facing potential discipline for his role in a multi-car crash last offseason. With the hearing taking place in late September, Rice is likely to be available for Kansas City's first four games of the season. This man Yeah, a jackass. I call him a jackass. You won't go back from that.
He's going to start the first couple games of the season. He'll be able to go out there and play. Keep in mind. He was injured last year. He had knee surgery to fix some ligaments in there.
And so I I guess he can get warmed up. before he gets set down. And then we probably won't see him again until the end of the season. Rashi Rice, outside of whatever punishment the NFL gives him, he's been sentenced to thirty days in jail. And five years of probation.
He pled guilty. to two third degree felony charges related to that car crash. In Dallas. And so after he has his hearing on September 30th, Well, I expect him to be gone for, I'd say, between four. To six games.
You think about the Kansas City Chiefs' regular season schedule. They open up. Against the chargers. in Brazil, Then they have a rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles. Then they take on the New York Giants.
And then? Fourth game of the season right before Rashi Rice's a hearing with the NFL two days before his hearing. The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be taking on the Baltimore Ravens. And so, of course, Philadelphia will be a tough matchup. The Los Angeles Chargers, playing a divisional foe is not necessarily going to be easy.
The New York Giants, if the Chiefs lose to them, the Chiefs should just get slapped around. And then Baltimore is not going to be easy.
So if you're the Kansas City Chiefs, While you have Rashid Rice, I say this. And those first four games. You you wanna go three and one. Yeah, of course you want to win every single game. But you don't want to start the season two and two.
and then enter into a world when you are now without your best wide receiver. And so we know that Rashi Rice, he'll be able to play the first four games of the regular season. before he receives his punishment. two days after the Chiefs' fourth game, against the Baltimore. Ravens.
We got some other news. I told you this was going to run and sound just like. a police blotter. Isaiah Bond One of the top wide receivers in the entire, well, draft. Did not get drafted.
Because he had a sexual assault case against them.
Well, as it's been reported now, Those charges? His agent has says there's they've been no billed. I'm not a lawyer. I know what dropping charges mean, and so there will be no further criminal charges filed. He's also filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman who made The Allegations Okay, Bond says the allegations are false.
Now apparently As a result, One of the top wide receivers. coming out of college. It looks like he may already Have a home. Eligible to be a free agent? and it looks like he might be on his way, It's a Cleveland.
And speaking of Cleveland, There's a guy who was drafted. by the Cleveland Browns. And let's just say He also had some allegations against him. of domestic violence. This happens to be Quinchon Jutkins.
He was accused of misdemeanor domestic violence and battery. I called him a jackass last month when this came out. Apparently there's there's not enough evidence. The woman delayed in reporting? They said that there were moments that she wasn't together with him.
And apparently she has also are there no witnesses or cooperation? And so the charges have been dropped.
So Quinchon Judkins, now certainly here and free, to go ahead and sign his contract. with the Cleveland Browns. I still find it odd, and I will always find it odd. To have somebody accused of any type of abuse, to not say, I didn't do it.
So I don't know. I will apologize to this man for calling him a jackass. It still smells fishy. to me.
Now what I will say, The brown's just like uh They like collecting. They like collecting guys that get in trouble. Is that what it is? Like you got Quinshawn Judkins. accused of uh domestic violence, and that's been tossed.
They got Isaiah Bond. who's been signed now to the Cleveland Browns. And then I can just tell you about the guy. I got no shame in calling this guy a pervert. That's Deshaun Watson.
And so, I mean I don't know what the Haslims are doing in regards to putting together their organization. I don't know if the Browns are trying to become the. The Raiders of the the the Midwest? They're a clown show. I got just got to be honest.
And I'm happy for them. And by the way, As Shador we will not see him this week and he will not be playing. and it appears that Dylan Gabriel will go out there and get the start. Against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Browns' second preseason game. And so, somehow, someway.
The Browns are connected to all of this. Isaiah Bond. Sexual assault allegations dropped. Signs with the Cleveland Browns. Quinshawn Judkins.
that he was actually drafted by the Cleveland Browns. Domestic violence allegations, no criminal charges. He's now free to sign and start his career. with Cleveland. And that's just the Browns.
And I told you about Rashi Rice. Rashi Rice scheduled to be punished. He's going to find out his punishment. At the end of September, september thirtieth, he'll be able to start his season. With the Kansas City Chiefs.
I don't know. Is is the NFL backed up? Is this like the uh the court system? They could not do this beforehand? Roger Cadell is so damn busy he had to wait until the thirtieth.
To figure out whether or not he's going to punish this guy. And wh what do I know? Bacha, did I miss anything? Is there anybody else who's been arrested, charged, accused in between time? Hopefully, NFL is a crazy place.
So anything could happen any minute now. But I don't as of now, I don't think there's anything being resolved.
Okay, I'm just making sure. I didn't want to miss anybody who's been absolved of being A delinquent. And so, good on Isaiah Bond, and the same thing for Quinn Sean Judkins. Good luck with you guys. Whatever the hell you do with the rest of your lives, I hope you can just stay clear the best you can.
Of nonsense, whether it's perpetr excuse me, perpetrated against you, or whether you're the ones. out there doing anything. Just just People are crazy out here. Don't be a crazy person. And stay away from crazy people as well.

She's fallen in love with football, just like me and you, one of us. Travis is like He's just a vibe booster in everyone's life that he's in.
He's like a human exclamation point. Like, also, you were so non-judgmental about people, and you were not judgmental about the fact that I knew nothing about the world you were in. Jason, on our first date, I literally, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field, across the line of scrimmage, and saw his brother standing on the other, like five feet in front of him on the field. Yeah. And he was like, he didn't even look at me.
Like, I now know what an insane question that was. He was like, actually, I'm only on the field at the same time as defense. I thought everyone was on the throne at the same time. No, you don't understand. I thought it was like Jared Goff is here and Josh Allen's here.
And they're going to be like, they blow a whistle and then they go at each other and they're like, and it's like, who's going to win? That's actually, I would love to see Jared Goff play some defense. I've got some thoughts. Yeah. I didn't know.
What was a first down? I didn't know what the chains were. I didn't know what a tight end was. I am forever thankful for you diving into the football world. Oh my God.
I fell in love with it. I became obsessed with it. I became like a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming. Yeah. Man.
How wholesome How wholesome that is, right? I had to balance things out with all the. alleged crime and Crime that was dropped and charges that were dropped. I had to put some balance there. We have to talk about a little bit of love, right?

I'm going back to the NFL. Sharon Moore might have to deal with it. I'm going to get into that on the other side of the break. We'll talk about some of these injuries in the NFL. Guys continuing to drop like flies in training camp.
Old Dell Beckham Jr., he's used to injuries. He might be on his way back to the NFL, possibly. The NBA dropped this schedule. We'll talk about the Dodgers. Seems like they're falling off.

Before we went to break, we talked about. A couple of guys who've been in some trouble, and maybe they're not in trouble. Rashid Rice is going to find out his punishment. For driving like a nutcase in Dallas. He's gonna find that out.
Next month. Quinchon Judkins. He will have no criminal charges filed against him. He is now free and signing with the Cleveland Browns.
Okay, now he could help run the football. for whatever busted up quarterback that they have to throw out there. And then we talked about Isaiah Bon. Texas wide receiver. Wasn't even drafted.
Because of sexual assault allegations levied against him, he is not facing any further charges himself. And so now they can go ahead and start off. their NFL careers. He is also now signing with the Cleveland Browns.
Sounds like a police blotter.
Well, now we got to go to the college side of things. because this may not be criminal activity. But this is certainly activity that is not becoming of an upstanding school or university. And that happens to be the Michigan. Wolverines.
Tomorrow It's been reported. That we're going to have some press conferences, we're going to have a We're going to find out some punishments. for the Michigan Wolverines. You might recall They were involved in a little a big sign stealing scandal. That guy who used to work for Michigan, that Jim Harbaugh said, I don't even know who that guy is.
He was a staffer at Connor Stallions. And they said that he would employ people to go to different games and scout the opponents and record their signals.
Well, apparently, that's illegal. In the NCAA. You can't do that. Can't throw on a moustache and a hat. Put on some funny glasses.
and try to steal signs. You can't do that. That's illegal. And so as a result Jim Harbaugh, before he won a championship, he was suspended. for the final three games of the twenty twenty three season.
And we know what happened after Harbaugh won that championship. He said, All right, I'm gone. I don't need no further punishments. He said, I don't know about no sign stealing. He says, I don't cheat.
I don't chew bubblegum and walk across the street. I don't jaywalk. He says, I don't know nothing about this. Listen to what he said. Last year, this is harbaugh about the line.
He's like, I don't lie. Yeah, I do have a comment on that. Never lie. Never cheat. Never steal.
I was raised. With that lesson. I have raised my family on that lesson. I have preached that lesson to the teams that I've coached. No one's perfect.
If you stumble, You apologize. And you make it right. Today? I do not apologize. I did not participate.
Was not aware nor complicit in those said allegations.
So for me, It's back to work and attacking with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.
Okay, he's like, yeah, now I'm back to the Chargers.
Okay, that was last year. Before he just only been coaching the Chargers for a year now. And that's not even the only allegations that they face. When he was still the head coach of the team, before he won a championship and they were getting ready to chop down his salary. People were looking at Jim Harbaugh and they were going, Wait a minute, did you Did you illegally recruit guys?
During COVID? Were you taking guys out to eat? Were you buying cheeseburgers for breakfast? You're not even supposed to do that, okay? You're not even suppo you weren't supposed to do this during COVID.
This is during 2020. And so Jim Harbaugh's hook. Because he left. He said, screw this. I ain't sticking around.
I'm going back to the NFL. He's now the head coach of the Chargers. and Sharon Moore. is now the head coach of the Wolverines. He went eight and five in his first year at Michigan.
And because the Wolverines knew that they were gonna get punished, They decided to self- impose a punishment upon themselves. They are they are suspending Sharon Moore. for games three and four of Michigan's schedule. Come on now. What are we doing here?
I guess they're trying to lighten the load. Oh, okay, we're punishing ourselves. Don't beat us up too bad. And what are games three and four? Michigan is going to take on Central Michigan.
They gon' whoop They're gonna whoop him. Let's just put it that way. I don't even need to tell you what they're gonna whoop. They are going to whoop. Everything.
And in the fourth game of the season for the Michigan Wolverines, they take on Nebraska. Can Nebraska win more than seven games with Matt Rule? Do they know what seven or eight games is? Can they get to nine? I I don't know.
But I guess they said we got to make at least one game, you know, not be Central Michigan. We got to make one look some type of competitive. And so Sharon Moore. Who has a self-imposed two-game suspension? Look, guys, I punished myself.
I'm I grounded myself. Two days ago. This is what he had to say about an additional suspension coming. Today, not tomorrow. That's all I'm worried about.
I'm worried about our players right now and The man upstairs has blessed me with the ability to be here, so I'm just worried about the day. That's it. Mm. I'll ask Bob. Just to follow up, I know you said you can't talk about the NCA, but obviously a resolution has to be coming fairly soon.
You say you don't think about it, but do you think over the program it lingers and will it be a relief when it's over, however it ends? Today, not tomorrow. Yeah. That's it. Well, damn it, tomorrow is tomorrow.
And we're going to find out what his punishment is going to be, what Michigan's. punishment is gonna be. Are they going to face a fine? Oh, of course they are, right? Are they going to lose some some scholarships?
Oh oh yeah, they will. Are they gonna lose? Uh I don't know. They're going to lose Sharon Moore. He's going to get punished some more.
And then Jim Harbaugh. They're going to tell him if you ever decide to come back to college, you're going to face a suspension on your way in. Not that I think that that's the case. Oh, yeah, they are gonna be punished. Michigan.
They're gonna feel some pain to morrow. Pete Dammo was on Pat McAfee's show and this is what he had to say. And any potential punishment for Michigan, which I've said on this show before, is likely going to be a hefty fine. And there is not an expectation, Pat, that there's going to be any kind of postseason ban. And there's not an expectation that any of their accomplishments are going to be taken away.
Now, a vast majority of the staff members. Who got jammed up in this are now gone in the NFL, Jim Harbaugh prominently among them. The real news that's going to come out of tomorrow is going to be regarding the suspension of Sharon Moore. Michigan, back in May, I believe, self-imposed two games for Sharon, game three and game four this season. And what we're going to find out from then, say tomorrow, is.
Is that accepted, or are they going to add any additional suspensions? Remember, he obviously deleted a thread of 52 text messages in this. Oh, yeah, he did. He deleted evidence. He's like, I don't know kind of stallions.
I'm just going to delete stuff. How could I forget that? Oh, yeah, he's definitely facing a punishment. I love how Jim Harbaugh goes, I don't lie, I don't cheat, I don't steal. Eddie Guerrero from Wrestling, he said, I lie and I cheat and I steal, and he won all the time, just like Harbaugh.
Good on him.
Now he doesn't have to face a punishment. Jim Harbaugh's smart. He said, I won a championship. I'm gonna leave before the ship sinks. You don't gotta be a liar.

I can expect the Patriots to go back. If I got to think about teams that you wouldn't expect. I think the Pates the Pats will be there. Oh, yeah. I agree with you on that.

Okay. When will Baltimore win a playoff game? Make a money. They can win a playoff game. They just need to win a big one.
Like, not a wild card, not a divisional matchup. They need to win an AFC championship. Look, the Baltimore Ravens have got nowhere else to go but up and then down. Like, we know they're good. If they're healthy, they're good.
If they're healthy, they're in the postseason. We just got to see if Lamar Jackson can ultimately win a Super Bowl. That's it. Nothing else.

before we went to break. We talked about Michigan. The Wolverines Facing suspensions and punishments and fines, restrictions, they are facing it all. Because of their Well, the sign stealing scandal. recruitment violations, They had coached Jeron Moore.
He might be punished to morrow. further than what they've already punished him for, self-imposed punishment. by the University of Michigan. We'll find out tomorrow. We'll see what happens there.
Meanwhile, speaking of Michigan. The Detroit Lions are trying to come off of what they did last year. An ass whooping. Losing to the commanders of 45. It's a 31.
That was embarrassing, especially for a team. That had the number one offense in the entire game. Their defense was able to stay kind of tough and steady despite missing Aiden Hutchinson for the latter portion of the season. And the Detroit Lions are trying to bounce back. and so far so good.
You know, Jared Goff didn't have the best game, and closing out that season, you think Jared Goff is going to bounce back. That offense is still ridiculous with Jameer Gibbs and David Montgomery. Like, what are they, uh Sonic and Knuckles, or whatever the hell they call themselves. Botched out right now. That was perfect.
Okay, right. Isn't there more Sonic? Why isn't it not Tails? Is he not cool enough? No, because Tails flies.
Like, that's cheating if you're doing the NFL.
Okay, all right. Nobody cares about the flying rat. They got plenty of offense. Hedgehog. Hedgehog is a flubble.

They got Amon Ross St. Brown, they got Jamison Williams when he's not gambling. They even brought in Simpatrick. And then they got Sam Laporta, who a couple of seasons ago had the most receptions by its height end. a rookie tight end in NFL history.
and last year had a slight dip in his production, but still pretty amazing. 726 yards receiving to seven touchdowns for the NFL's most high-powered offense. But Sam Laporta isn't high powered right now. Old gambling Dan Campbell, willing to gamble on fourth down, first down, second down, third. If there was a fifth, he'd gamble on that too.
Dan Campbell said. Outside end? He's gonna miss some time. Probably the guy, Laporta, will be down. It's not major, but he will miss a little bit of time here.
They were pretty good though. Oh man, it sucks in the preseason in training camp. They don't have to report the injuries. The teams don't have to say. He got a bad back.
He got a bad arm. He got a bad leg. He doesn't have to do this. He just said nothing. And so we don't know the details of Sam Laporta's injury, but we have to trust and believe.
That if Dan Campbell says it's minor, it's It's minor. He's going to miss a little bit of time. Minor injury. I assume he'll be back in action next week. We'll find out.
As long as he's there for the regular season when the Detroit Lions get underway, against the Green Bay Packers. I think they'll be fine. And speaking of the Green Bay Packers, They've been dealing with an injury of their own. Apparently. Their quarterback Jordan Love, has had surgery, on that non-throwing Left.
Hand is head coach Matt LaFlore, Green Bay Packers. Uh he gave an update on him and his left hand. Surgery went well and he's in great spirits and he's here with us.
So yeah, now it's just about putting in the work to get to get the thumb rehabbed. I wouldn't say it right away, but we anticipate there'll be some sort of participation next week. Oh, that's cool. I like that. Bacha, did you hear the uh...

Don't let the ball slip. Don't let it do anything. We haven't reached a point of the season where the weather is going to be adverse, unless it's raining. And so I think Jordan Love is going to be perfectly fine. when they start their season against the Detroit Lions, On September 7th, that's going to be fun.
And like I said, this actually a couple days ago. Jordan, love, you really got to look at this guy. This is not. It's not time to ring an alarm bell. But from the beginning of last season down in Brazil, It's like his leg injury.
I think it was his groin or his knee. It was his knee. an' he was able to come back quick. But then before that it's a concussion, or it's his arm, I am hoping that Jordan Love, can go through an entire season. this here the first season.
Where he is going to make $55 million. I hope he can go through the season unscathed for the most part. We know he's going to get hurt. Everybody gets banged up. I want to see what he does with Matthew Golden.
Because all the highlights that are coming out of training camp with Matthew Golden, this guy's looking like a badass. He's. Catching everything. He's looking like wide receiver. Number one.
And especially you start thinking about that NFC North. You got Green Bay. They're going to be good if Jordan Love is healthy. You got the Detroit Lions, they're still going to be good. I don't know what the heck you can expect from the Minnesota Vikings.
I just know this. They're not winning 13 games like they did last year. and we cannot and should not expect J.J. McCarthy to go 30-plus touchdowns like Sam Darnell did. That was like a.
Lightning in a bottle type situation. And then you got the Chicago Bears. And who knows what Caleb Williams is gonna do in his his second full season. With a second head coach in Ben Johnson and a new offensive system, but even Chicago. has to do better.
Somebody has to pick up these wins. I think Green Bay and Chicago will probably Green Bay and Detroit. will probably lead the way. Chicago should pick up some of these victories that Minnesota will not have. And everybody can beat up on uh Yeah.

Other than that I can't trust McCarthy and I can't trust love.
So I think. Maybe Caleb Blooms takes a step, so then Lions Bears one too. Lions oh, lions and then bears? And then you don't trust love? No.
Oh my god. Wow.
Okay, Bears, yeah, there we go, lions and No Tigers, it's baseball lions, Tigers, Bears, oh my Wow. Yeah, man, I I think as much as Jordan Love is scaring the hell out of me, I think I'd go the opposite. I think it'll be close. I think it'll be Detroit. and then you'll go into uh Chicago Green Bay and then Minnesota will will will come back to earth.
We'll see. That'll be one of the best divisions to watch in the entire NFL. In addition to the AFC North, where you have Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and then Cincinnati. And then they'll beat the hell up on Cleveland. Yeah, that won't be too much fun.
