It is. The JR Sport Brief Show here on the Infinity Sports. Network. I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to everybody for being locked in and tuned in all over North America.

We're here. We made it. This minute, this second. The Major League Baseball trade deadline has come. It has gone.

We'll see if some trades trickle in. Over the next several minutes, over the next, I don't know, 20 minutes, 30 minutes. You never know how long some of these things will take. How about this? Jose Caballero.

He's no longer a member of the Tampa Bay Rays. Yeah he's a member of the Yankees. The the Rays are playing the Yankees. How about that? This guy leads the world in stolen bases, 34 for the season.

Nestor Cortez, a former Yankee. He's now a Padre. Dustin May about 10-15 minutes ago, Dustin May sent from the Dodgers to the Red Sox. Cedric Mullins goes to the Mets. The Yankees also pick up David Betnar from the there's just a lot.

going on. Eugenio Suarez goes back to the Mariners. That was last night. What a day. A lot of moves.

This is what happens. Teams are positioning themselves. to go on World Series runs. Alcantara looks like he ain't going anywhere. Cease, I haven't seen anything.

Looks like Dylan Cease is going to be sticking around. Anyway. We got a lot to get into.

Next hour, once some of these. Trades are finalized, we know what's going on. Kyle Glazer's going to join us. Rights for Major League Baseball also hosts Foul territory. We got some football going on.

We got the first preseason game starting tonight, the Hall of Fame game. Between the Chargers And the lions the battle Of the backups. Shannon Sharp had some words about the Hall of Fame. His brother's going into the Hall of Fame. He feels he's disgraced him.

Embarrassed him. We'll get into that. How could I forget Carlos Correas on his way back to the Houston Astros? We'll talk more baseball, of course. Joe Varnon.

from the athletic. A lot of news going on in the NBA from Luka Donchich and You know, his weight loss and his media tour. And comments about the Lakers and their championship, there's a lot to get into today. NFL NBA Training camps. Of course.

How about this? There's even stupid basketball contracts. Mikhail Bridges, if anybody cares, four years. $150 million to stick around. and with the New York Knicks.

Whoop thee freaking do.

Okay. Anyway. I'm going to give you some updates on as many trades as I possibly can. You can always listen to the show on the Free Odyssey app. your local Infinity Sports Network affiliate, Sirius XM channel 375.

And a smart speaker, if you have one, all you have to do is ask the speaker. to play. The Infinity Sports Network. Merrill Kelly, now a member as well of the Texas Rangers, Rangers now have Evaldi, they also have DeGrom. If these guys are healthy, specifically DeGrom, by the time the postseason comes around, you got to look out for the Rangers.

Astros always in the mix. Carlos Carrera goin' back To Houston. If you got a Carlos Correa jersey, you can bring it back out the The closet He's going to play third base for the Astros after exiting the Twins. The Twins are just. It's selling a whole damn house.

It was only, what, yesterday, two days ago. That Carlos Correa, I want you to hear this. He basically said, I have control. Over where I go, and obviously, he's going home. Listen to this.

I got full control so um we'll see how it goes. You know you listen to the rumors and all that and I feel like it happens every year but uh Yeah, well you you just gotta let it play out. Yeah, full control meaning you can decline any of that. Yes. He can do what he wants, and now he wants to go home.

Good for him. Mason Miller on his way from the The A's, he's going to the Padres. Shane Bieber didn't even mention Shane Bieber. I know he's broken. He's trying to make his way back to the majors coming after.

Uh Tommy John. The former Si Young winner Shane Bieber is on his way to the Jays. He's a luxury at that point. Do they need him? Yeah, I guess maybe Scherzer will break down at some point.

You don't know. There's a lot of trades that have gone down. Damn. Our producer in New York is holding it down, Ryan Bacha. Bacha, how are you?

You're still here. No trade, huh? I'm here, no trade, but I'm overstimulated to say the least. There's things popping up from every side. Yes, they I mean Phil, what was going on?

There's another trade. Did another trade just go down? Yeah, Orioles. Charlie Morton to the Tigers. Charlie Morton just got traded to his old ass.

Yeah. He played his way out of there, surprisingly. Oh, my God. Charlie Morton, yeah, yeah. Wow Wait a minute.

Wait a minute.

Okay, alright. Luis Robert Junior didn't go anywhere. Let's think about the guys that didn't move for a second. Luis Robert is sticking around with the White Sox. Did I miss anything?

Cease is staying. He's staying in San Diego. He's not going anywhere? He is staying as of now. Oh boy.

Yeah, we're literally getting trades in. Uh by the second year. Yeah, Kanki. If I got to think about the ones from earlier today, I didn't even mention this. Harrison Bader.

Well, I feel like it's been on five different teams in the last four years, maybe less. Harrison Bader.

is now going to be a member of the Phillies. Brock Stewart is going to the Dodgers. We just talked about Dustin May going to the Sox. Man New York Mets. I know we discussed this last night.

As they bolstered their their their bullpen. Are you happy with them picking up Cedric Mullins to play Sunner? Are you happy about that? Happy. It's better than Tyrone Taylor.

And when you look at it in Just hindsight, what we gave up for Mullins is not bad. What is Tyrone Taylor's batting average? 200? Close to that. I mean, damn.

Cedric Mullins can at least go out there and hit some home runs and. And he can play just about as good as defense of Tyrone Taylor, or at least give you some highlight. A place.

So, I mean All things considered, I don't want to say the rich got got richer. But we got a bunch of teams that are going all out for contention. I don't care what the New York Yankees did. I don't believe in Well, I don't believe in it starting pitching enough to say, oh, well, uh I'm going to go ahead and trust New York Yankees, even though they just got. Caballero, I I don't Who's going to drive him in?

Just judge when he comes back. If he comes back, Judge. What are you say what are we doing here? I'm just saying a flexor strain. The guy, if so you can go with Bryce Harper route where he DHs, doesn't throw a baseball.

Oh, boy. For the entire rest of the year. Or you just place first base in puts less strain. But either way, this is not looking good for the future of Aaron Judge. Have you had a flexor strain before?

No, but flexor strains are usually an indicator of Tommy John So it's one thing leads to another if he puts more strain on it. That's why he's not going to come back and play right field. You're trying to put him into the uh Bryce Harper category, huh? I'm not trying to. It's just more likely now that Judge might have to move to DH or first base for a little bit.

As long as his bat is in the lineup. And I mean, his defense is great, too, which would be. A missing piece, but we'll we'll see what happens there. But all things considered, amongst all of these trades the ones that are still kind of filing in, I like with the Rangers. Have done.

Picking up Meryl Kelly. Because when I think about anybody trying to win. You can fortify your bullpen, of which by now the Yankees have certainly helped themselves the Mets. have definitely helped themselves in the bullpen. You got to get there first.

And so the Padres have a Super Bullpin. I told you about Mason Miller going from the eights to the Padres. They also got JP Sears. What the hell they do with either one of those guys, I I have no idea. But I do know the Padres already had one of the best bullpens in all of Major League Baseball.

They have added to it. And then, on the reverse, if I got to think about a team that I think has set themselves up pretty solidly. From a starting pitcher perspective, I take a look at the Rangers. Being able to pick up Merrill Kelly and plug him in You know, right there with Evaldi and then also DeGrom, who is, I still think he's working his way back. From his own time he John I like what the Rangers have done.

I like what the Padres have done. I don't know if I trust the Padres as an overall in the postseason. They still got Dylan Cease out there. Let's see if he could turn things around as he also recovers from injury. I like it.

What are your thoughts on what we've seen today? I mean, not everybody moving around is worth a damn, let's be honest here. Uh but what are your thoughts on the teams that have bolstered their chances to win the World Series? I really like what the Astros are doing. Filling the gaps of their injuries into the time to be back.

So, Correa, of course, I know you're paying 95% of his salary, whatever it is, from the twins as a salary dump. But you fill third base as Paredes is out for the rest of the year. That's good there. And then they're gonna basically float above water. And wait until their guys come back.

They did great. Padres did great, of course. I think it's a home run if they don't trade Dylan Seas because. If they're gonna truly beat all in, you just traded the number three prospect in baseball in Leo DeVry. You need shortstop.

Yeah, shortstop. Super, like tons of tools. If you want to be super competitive, you need to keep Dillancy's. And hope what hope that he turns around. I mean, it in time, it's only July.

He got plenty of time. You know what? Let's listen to Major League Baseball TV. Mark DeRosa. He was on T V, of course, because everybody's on T V looking at all these damn deals flowing through right now.

This is what Mark DeRosa had to say about them being able to pick up Mason Miller and then also that bullpen. They just got a guy who leads the l All MLB and strikeout percentage the last two years. And they're right there. Think about it. Estrada, Flora Hall, Jason Adams, Mason Miller.

Metzbo Pen can make a claim as well. Are you kidding me? It's solid.

Well, for your Metza, you do I mean, it's not like they got a I mean, rhyh Mullins or something. They got offensive help. You feel good about the New York Mets? I feel 10 times better than we were a couple days ago.

Okay. Gregory Soto, Hellsley, and. Yeah. Rogers and Mullins. That's that's a good deadline.

just on their their their bullpen. You mentioned bringing in Tyler Rogers and then Helsley yesterday. Today's Cedric Mullins. And this is nice for New York Met fans. And I know that Cohen hasn't even been around a full five years yet.

But there was a point in time where the New York Mets, the trade deadline, they would have been doing nothing. They would have been the ones out here selling. The New York Mets are trying to win. I don't know if they got a starting rotation to win outside of. Who do you trust most outside of Sangha?

Anyone? Sean Manaya is up there. David Peterson's been really consistent for over a year and a half now. Who are you starting after, Sangha? I would go Sanga Peterson.

Mania as of today. As of today, we'll see. Jim Duquette was on S N Y, home of the New York Mets. and he had some thoughts about what they did to that bullpen. The Mets have really reshaped their bullpen when you look at their acquisitions.

Tyler Rogers from the Giants, the Submariner, really a two-seam slider type of pitcher, one of the best ground ball pitchers in the sport. It pitches in the seventh and eighth inning, and a different look for Carlos Mendoza at the back end of that bullpen. And then you add from the Cardinals one of the elite closers, Ryan Helsley, who has an elite fastball and a real electric fastball, averages 99.3 miles per hour, has a wipeout slider as well. Hitters are hitting 092 against the slider. He'll throw that almost 50% of the time.

And so when you look at the combination of those two guys leading up to Edwin Diaz, and you add Gregory Soto, who they acquired a couple of days ago, that bullpen got better in a hurry. This is a postseason bullpen and one that is all in from the Mets' front office. And New York Yankees trying to go all in on their bullpen as well. Camillo Doval from the Giants. is now a member of their bullpen.

New York Yankees trying to get some help as well. And if you think about the World Series odds, I don't know if it's changed all that much. The Dodgers still lead the way. Plus two forty. Followed by the Phillies, added Bader, plus eight fifty.

The Tigers plus 850. The New York Mets, botcha, how about that? They're plus a thousand.

So is Houston, Chicago. And the Yankees. You go. a good category and and good space to be in. Ray's picking up Griffin Jacks from the Twins.

And this is this is the cool part.

Now that Major League Baseball, a couple of years ago, they changed up the the playoff format. We have more teams that want to be invested. Not everybody is running around saying, hey, we're the A's. Hey, we're the Pirates. Hey, we are the Twins.

We got teams that are legitimately. understanding that they can go, On a run. The Rangers two seasons ago, they went on a run. And now they're just like, well, damn it, let's bring in somebody like Meryl Kelly to help fortify. Our starting rotation.

The New York Mets. trying to plug in an offensive hole and also get together. That bullpen. You got the Padres. Man, they are always ridiculously aggressive and just trading anybody in anything to try to get a leg up on the Dodgers.

It hasn't happened yet. But there's nothing wrong. with trying and so the Major League Baseball trade deadline. It has come. It is gone.

Merrill Kelly is a Ranger. Carlos Correas back to Houston. Cedric Mullins met last night. Eugenio Suarez back to the Mariners with his thirty six home runs. The Tigers helping out that bullpen.

Paul Sewalt. There's just a lot. going On. And let's see how how things roll by the time we get to September and October. Because you can win a trade deadline.

You can do that on July 31st. Who's gonna be healthy? Who's goin' on a run? Who has the arms? You know, will the Blue Jays make some noise?

It looks like they'll hold on potentially, probably. To the AL East, if the Red Sox don't give him a run, if the Rays, I don't trust the Rays, if the Red Sox give him a run. But it's not about What happens now is about who goes on a run later this year. And all things considered, I know Dustin May, yeah, he has so many starting pitchers, even though they've been hurt. It sent him to the Red Sox.

I'm still picking the Dodgers. to win the World Series. Batru, who's your favorite? Realistically, I'm going to still pick the Dodgers, just 'cause they have so much depth. If not them.

It's hard to say. Who goes on a run, right? Probably the Padres. Or they got to get by the Dodgers. We got to see.

We gotta see. They certainly have a They got a wealth of arms now. I gotta figure out what to do with them. I mean, even picking up Mason Miller. I assume they'll leave him in the in the bullpen.

Yeah, this has been an interesting Interesting one. And despite everybody moving pieces, including the Dodgers. They're still the World Series favorites. And oh yeah, bye. Shaw Hay Otani, who was cramping last night.

He said he's fine. He said he'll be fine for his next start. Wait until everybody else. gets back together, okay? The Dodgers, they got time.

They're just Buying time. At this point. It's the J.R. Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. As more of these trades come through, we're going to have a chat with Kyle Glazer next hour to analyze.

And now, well? We wait. We wait to see what has trickled in. We wait to see what is. trickled out.

We wait to see what what news has taken place. eight eight eight seven ten four is n That's 888-710-4ISN. I don't even know if I mentioned, I think I did, the Yankees picking up David Bednar. Everybody trying to go for it. Everybody trying to knock off.

The Dodgers. You think about teams that really win, and the Padres, I feel like they have an entire Uh nude scene. Mason Miller, JP Sears from the A's. Ramon Loriano Ryan or Hearn? Will Wagner, Freddie Fuhrman, Nesta Cortez is Is with the Padres now.

Hey, Bacha, have we heard from any of the uh Any other teams or any of the players since any of these trades have taken place from last night to today?

So right now I know teams are most likely having their GMs speak to the media.

So we'll see in the next couple minutes on the deals made today. how those went down. A couple of those went a couple of people spoke. Yesterday or the couple days before, and the things that came trickling in. Yeah, Suarez, he came and went.

Like that was when the trade takes place late at night, you just kind of. Kind of shrug your shoulders about it. And at the same time, is that exciting? Esuarez is going back to Seattle. That big old ballpark.

to hit home runs. and to basically uh disappear into Obscurity. I was hoping, let's be real. The Mariners aren't winning anything. I was hoping that Suarez was going to end up somewhere else with a little bit more.

Lil Pizazz. That one is uh The juice has been sucked out of that one. and then Carlos Correa.

Somebody's basically been hurt, I feel like. off and on since he uh left Houston. No, last year he was an all-star, but I mean, and and that doesn't take much to be an all-star. Carlos Correa should find a second life as well going back on a down o' Houston. 888-710-4ISN.

That's 888-710. four I S N With all the news going on, we'll keep you up to date on the Major League Baseball trade deadline as trades trickle in. As I mentioned to you, next hour. We're going to have a chat. With Kyle Glaser, from the From Major League Baseball, rights from Major League Baseball, as well as host foul territory.

He'll be here to walk us through all of the trades. New faces. and new Places. That's today with the trade debt line, which took place twenty-six minutes ago. And in in a crazy space, speaking of new faces and in a A new place.

Is Aaron Rod he's not Luka Donchich. Aaron Rodgers didn't lose weight. He's just getting older. But he is a new face in a new place. The guy's gone from the Green Bay Packers.

The two miserable years with the New York Jets. and now he may have one final year, who knows? With the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over the past several years, the Steelers, well, they just win and they don't do Anything else? Like gold 10 and 7, go to the postseason.

And lose. They had to deal with the Justin Fields experiment last year along with Russell Wilson. They lost five straight games to end the season. The Ravens put the an end to their season. And the next thing you know, Mike Tomlin has another winning season And then Mike Tomlin is getting yelled at.

And then the Steelers have to wait on Aaron Rodgers. And then now Aaron Rodgers is now a member of the Steelers. And for the past two days, he's not Luca. But he's sitting around doing an entire media tour. With Pat McAfee, of course.

Bacha, he was really on McAfee yesterday and today? No, he wasn't there today. He was it was just yesterday 'cause they were they did it they they double dip because today they were at in Ohio and yesterday they were at the the practice field. I'm like, damn, he don't got nothing better to do. I know Aaron Rogers likes to talk to his buddy.

that the last time we checked was paying him a million dollars a year just to show up and talk every Tuesday. But Aaron Rodgers, a new face, new place with the Steelers, He had some positive words to say. About Mike Tomlin. He basically said, Mike Tomlin is the reason that I'm here. I respect this guy.

Listen. Mike T is the man. Any hate? Disrespect. And the ilk is complete and utter bullshit.

Hell yeah. Mike T is the man. Alright. From day one that we talked on the phone in the offseason, I was never talking to a head coach. I was talking to a friend.

I respected the hell out of that. I have crazy respect for him. The way that he leads the room, the way that he talks in the team meeting, the way he is in practice, the surprise has been just what a great dude he is. What a great leader he is. On top of what I already expected, which was already high based on what I thought from afar.

But being able to see it in person is incredible. He's the type of guy that every great coach. Makes you want to play for it. And what I mean to expand on that is you care so deeply. About the person, you don't want to let him down.

And that's the aura, and that's the respect that Mike has from his players: that you want to play for this guy because you know how much he cares, and you don't want to let him down. Aww. I wonder how long this is gonna last. I wonder how long those sentiments are going to last. When he says, Oh, it's like not not being with your coach, it's like Bein' with your friend.

They made me think about Kyrie Irving a few years ago. He's just like. Yeah, I could be coach. Kevin Durant could be coach. And, you know, Steve Nash is the coach, but any day we can all be coaches.

How did that one work out? Everybody eventually wanted to leave the Nets. And we all know that Aaron Rodgers could be a one-year rental if he depends on how he feels at the end of the season. He would be like, I'm coming back for next year. We have no idea.

I love how everything sounds so optimistic on july thirty first. Aaron Rodgers sounds thrilled. And who knows? I expect the Steelers to compete. for a wild card spot.

I don't think they're gonna fall off the face of the earth. But are we going to get a beef? Could you imagine Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin beefing? Throughout the course of the season, Mike Tomlin having to come up to the podium and Serve up, we do not cares, and don't ask me that question, and just walking off the stage. It's July.

I love the optimism, I love the energy, I love the enthusiasm. But in the tough AFC North Let's see how long Aaron Rodgers keeps up his enthusiasm and his optimism. You know, every week isn't going to be the opening week matchup. Of the New York Jets. You're going to have to dive deeper into some other teams.

that ready to rip his head off. Dan, can you see Miles Garrett ripping Aaron Rodgers to shreds? I could I very well could. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. And speaking of optimism, Wow.

He's at it again? He is doing this again. John Harbaugh is optimistic about Lamar Jackson. Tell me something I don't already know. I guess we've reached that point of the calendar year.

where John Harbaugh has to hype up Lamar. Yeah, I can hype up Lamar, but I can also be realistic about him. I'm gonna let you hear what John Harbor had to say. On the other side of the brake, And then I'm going to be realistic with you. about Lamar Jackson.

It's the J.R. Sport Re-Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. The Major League Baseball trade deadline, it has come, it has gone. We got the Hall of Fame game, there's so much more. to get an update on what's going on in the world of sports.

It's time for a news flash. Here he is. It's Rich Ackerman. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. It is the JR Sport Brief Show on the Infiniti Sports Network.

This portion of the show is sponsored by the Hyundai Getaway Sales Event. It's going on now. Get deals so right. It almost feels wrong. Don't miss out.

Visit your local Hyundai dealer. Today 888-710-4ISN is the number. It's 888-710-4ISN. Major League Baseball trade deadline. 40 minutes in, I'd be surprised if we get any more trades.

And we got Kyle Glazer, who's going to come through and join us in about forty minutes. to break everything on down. As the New York Mets, as definitely the Padres, have all been. Buyers, the Phillies, the Yankees, they're going all in to fortify their rotations, their bullpens, their lineups, their defense. We'll have that chat with Kyle Glazer.

He'll be here with us next week.

Next hour. All these, uh Faces in new places Right before we went to break we talked about Aaron Rodgers. spoke glowingly. of his new head coach Mike Tomlin. said it doesn't feel like a A coach-player relationship feels like he's talking to His friend.

Is it going to last the entire season? I can't wait. I could see them arguing on the sidelines, right? I could see Mike Tomlin yelling at Aaron, what are you doing? I could see them getting into it.

Bacha, aren't they gonna, they're gonna physically scrap? Are they not going to scrap at some point?

Well, didn't last year Rogers push Robert Sala, and that caused a little bit of drama? It shoved him a little bit. Yeah, but. Here's a difference. He respects Mike Tomlin in a different way.

Then he respects Rob Sala. Wouldn't you agree? Yes. We're both really, really good at what we do. We're not gonna fight physically, but we'll mentally battle each other.

Yeah, it's Uh They're gonna get into it. Forget Sala. You think they are we are gonna get a sideline? It may not be a full-on explosion. But are we going to get like a Mike Tomlin, Aaron Rodgers eye roll after they yell at each other on the sideline?

It's going to happen, right? I think it's likely that Tomlin will be staring straight at the field. and his team while Rogers is barking in his ear. And Tomlin doesn't react to it. That's something that Mike Tomlin would do.

He's going to burn a hole through him, huh? Yeah. Yeah. Likely to happen. But for right now it's all love.

For right now It's all praise. I mean, and it it just continues on. We got We got praise coming out the the Wazoo. Because I guess it's a rite of passage at this point in time. It's the offseason.

And we got John Harbaugh kissing the backside of another quarterback. In the AFC North, his own quarterback, the one who's won the MVP twice. Lamar Jackson? We saw what took place last year. The Ravens went twelve and five.

They played the Bills in the snow and the rain. Mark Andrews couldn't hold on to a ball, and then the season was over. despite the fact that Lamar Jackson, became the first player in NFL history with four thousand yards passing, nine hundred yards rushing. Despite the fact that Lamar Jackson last year did not win the MVP, it went to Josh Allen. Despite throwing 40 touchdowns and fewer than five interceptions, nobody's ever done that ever.

41 T D's to four interceptions is ridiculous. 915 yards rushing, four touchdowns. Fourth highest single season passer rating in history. Aaron Rodgers has the top two. Peyton Manning has a third and Lamar Jackson is fourth.

Yeah, not too bad, not too shabby for the guy who needed to switch positions. and be a running back, or go out there and be a wide receiver. And so someone who knows and understands that is John Harbaugh. Because he was on the This Is Football podcast. The same John Harbaugh who said that this guy is going to be an all-time great.

John Harbar now says, yeah, he's historically one of the greatest ever. Listen to this. He is a historically good passer. And that's really quite a statement because of the narrative. that's been surrounding him ever since the beginning.

Lamar Jassy can throw the football. You can throw it every kind of way, you can make every kind of throw any kind of way you want. He's as good as any guy, any pastor that has ever been. And I think now the numbers are proving that. Oh, come on.

Well, here's the deal. It might be, he's accurate, he's right. He is one hundred per cent correct. Lamar Jackson is amazing. Last season he had a historically great passing season.

It's fine. He's one of the best young quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen. And he's not going to do anything but continue to accumulate and stack up the numbers and the stats. If he can continue on this pace, even if he never wins a Super Bowl. He's on a Hall of Fame.

Trajectory. But here here's the thing. Can can we stop throwing flowers at him every off season? Like does Lamar Jackson need his ego stroked? He doesn't come across to me as the type of guy who just needs a pat on the back.

He's gotten to where he's gotten. And even he understands. He knows. There's nothing else for him to do. Except for hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy.

I mean, we talked about this even yesterday. Every off-season, Harbaugh is saying something crazy like. R remember this, we talked about this yesterday. He said that the vision for the Ravens, we built the entire team, the entire offense around the guy. He's going to be the best ever.

Listen to this. This is from a couple years ago. Last year, listen. And I believe the Ravens and we've always had a vision for Lamar Jackson. It started with Lamar's vision and his mom's vision when he said he was going to be a quarterback.

He's going to be a quarterback in high school. He's going to be a quarterback in college. He's going to be a quarterback in the National Football League. And we bought into that. We embraced it.

We built an offense for it at 19. We're building another offense for it in 23 and 24 going forward, right? The next iteration of our offense around Lamar Jackson. Because in my opinion, the vision The vision for Lamar Jackson, and it's a vision, it's something you see it like it's already happened. You can see it like it's already been done.

The victory has already been won. when you pour into a vision. And the vision that we have together is that Lamar Jackson is going to become and be known and be recognized. as the greatest quarterback ever to play in the history of the National Football League.

Okay, that was last year. You just heard what he had to say this week. Enough already. Enough. I've never heard a head coach talk about a player like this so glowingly every single offseason enough.

Man, I didn't hear Mara talk about Peyton Manning like this. Belichick certainly didn't talk about Tom Brady like this. Let him go out there and just be great. We know he's great. What does he get?

An extra tree? Is Harbaugh living in his basement at this point in time? Instead of sleeping in the garage, does he let him sleep in? I don't know, the den or the attic? Like, what are we doing here?

And I love Lamar Jackson. I'm kinda torn between both him and Josh Allen. I want both of these guys. Both of them. Both of them.

I want both of them. Not both. Both of them. I want both of them to go out there. and won a Super Bowl.

Only one guy could win it at a time. We know that they both have to go out there and knock off Patrick Mahomes. But in the case of Lamar Jackson, There is nothing else for him to attain nothing But a Super Bowl. That's it. Like at what point in time does all of this go out and and and ring hollow?

The Ravens have had to bring in different offensive coordinators. They've had to switch things up. The fans have gotten sick of them. What are we going to do?

Now they've added DeAndre Hopkins. Very nice. Derrick Henry got a contract extension. Very nice. Eleven wins for the Ravens this year.

Twelve wins for the Ravens this year. What are they all just going to beat up all three teams in the AFC North? The ones that matter, the Bengals, the Steelers, and the Ravens, are just going to beat up on Cleveland? Probably, yes. Everybody's getting tons of victories.

But it's not what gets said in July, man. that we got last year. We know he's good, we know he's great, and anybody who doesn't say or believe it, They're dummy. If you don't believe in Lamar Jackson at this point in time, if you don't understand that he's one of the best quarterbacks that we've seen, given his age, you're a dummy. If you're some guy who still thinks that he needs to be a running back, you're stupid.

We know he's good. I don't know. Maybe John Harbaugh is in a time warp. Maybe he's. Still and I don't know uh 2020 20.

I don't know where he is right now. We know the guy's good. A lot of people have been good. Not everybody's been good as him as early. But let him win.

And maybe if Mark Andrews can hold on to a pass, maybe if the Ravens can score early, I'm not pinning it all on Mark Andrews, but maybe that makes a difference. Maybe we see the ravens. Maybe we see two birds. In the Super Bowl. Maybe he beats the Bills and they go on to the Super Bowl past the Chiefs.

Maybe. But we've seen enough of the maybes and the coulda woulda shouldas.

Somebody please tell John Harbar.

So stop. Give us this speech in January. You feel so confident in them? Give us the speech in January about how great he is. Give me a break.

Shoutouts to Lamar. Go win a Super Bowl already, all right? And tell your coach to shut up. Eight eight eight seven ten four I S N That's 888 710 4ISN. Speaking of a Super Bowl, Oh, look at this here Oh, boy The team in the NFC.

That went to the NFC Championship game one step away from the Super Bowl. The Washington Commanders Terry McLaurin. has officially requested a trade. From the Commanders We know Terry McLaurin is looking for a new deal from the commanders. Trying to get paid like one of the top wide receivers in the game.

Not happening that way. He's been away from the team. Showed up to work last week so he would stop incurring fifty thousand dollar fines per day. He's getting $22 million a season. He wants more than thirty three.

He wants to be in that Justin Jefferson CD Lamb category. The guy making the most money at wide receiver is Jamar Chase making more than 40. It's Harry McLaurin. has officially requested a trade, From the commanders.

Now, I'll tell you this I still don't believe this guy's getting moved. I s this is This is a negotiating ploy. Who's bringing in Sari McLaurin? And dropping 33, 34, 35 million dollars in his lap. For the next several seasons.

Who's just doing that? in July. Nobody. Like and speaking of Lamar Jackson, Before Lamar Jackson got his new contract, or the contract that he's currently on. We know he's negotiating a new one.

Lamar Jackson. requested a trade. From the Baltimore Ravens. And then you want to know what happened? I get it.

He's a quarterback, he's not a wide receiver. Lamar Jackson got paid. think you're sitting at about fifty two million dollars a year right now. I know Lamar Jackson is looking at Dak Prescott going, I need to make more than sixty. It'll happen sooner than later.

But just because you request a trade doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Terry McLaurin is too important to the Washington commanders. He's too important to Jaden Daniels. just to let him go out there. and walk out The door.

I don't see It. happening. It's the JR Sport Re Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.

Somebody must have told Terry McLaurin baseball players are moving around. and that he might as well try to request a trade as well. We're going to take a break. And when we come back, we'll talk more about this. trade request from Terry McLaughlin.

Are the commanders really gonna move him? I doubt it. We hear from his quarterback as well, Jaden Daniels, is ready. For this upcoming season, you're locked in, you're listening to the JR Sport Re-Show Coast to Coast on the Infinity Sports Network.
