Shador Sanders, the number one pick on the list, fell from the first round to the fifth round due to concerns about his preparation and maturity. Cam Ward, the number one overall pick, is a strictly business quarterback who is all about football. Ashton Genty, a dynamic running back, is expected to plug a hole in the Las Vegas Raiders' offense. Travis Hunter, a two-way player, has the potential to alter the trajectory of the sport. Abdul Carter, a freak defender, is expected to wreak havoc on quarterbacks in the NFC East. Shamar Stewart, a physical freak, is still unsigned by the Bengals and may try to re-enter the draft.

They're going back and forth with each other in the media about how risky of a job it was when Bill Belichick took his time with the Patriots. It was a risk for both of them.

How about y'all both shut up? Caitlin Clark. Risky for her to play basketball right now. Dealing with a groin issue again out of action tonight against the Liberty. The All-Star break is coming.

She's supposed to be in a three-point contest, supposed to be in a game. How you do that with a busted groin, I have no idea. So we have a lot to do. If you missed a minute, like I said, hit rewind on that free Odyssey app. If you want to be a part of the show, you can do that too. The phone number here is 888-710-4ISN. That is eight eight eight Seven ten four I S N.

You know, Big 12 had its media days last week. SEC had its media days this week. We're going to blink and college football will be under way, and here we are. in due time. One thing that's already here.

for a lot of NFL teams and organizations, Is it the start? of training camp. where typically the rookies have to arrive, Before the veterans. And so, whereas we got a lot of NFL vets who will arrive or not arrive to training camp next week. I don't expect to see Terre McLaurin.

I think there's a special defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengal, Dre Hendrickson, that we probably won't see. The rookies are here. this week, or they should be And so amongst everything going on in the world is sports. the SPs, the All-Star games, the home run derbies, amongst all of this. The open.

that we have coming this weekend. We got we're getting closer to NFL football. And so I wanted to take a look. In an interesting way, and some of the rookies That you probably really, really want to pay attention to. Because these guys are expected to be balling out this upcoming season.

if all of them will even be in the NFL. I'll explain momentarily. And so happy Wednesday to you. I've been doing this on YouTube since 2009. Happy to have it here on the radio now, across the country.

It's time for a new top six list today. We're taking a look. at the top six NFL rookies to watch in twenty twenty five. Six, five, four, three, two, three.

So One It's time to get JR's latest top six list. only on the JR Sport Brief. Yeah. It is the JR Sport Re Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. We're looking at the top six NFL rookies to watch in 2025.

These are the biggest names, these are the biggest stories, these are the individuals that you must absolutely. Pay attention to It's a top six list, which means we count down, which means we're starting with this number and this individual right here. Number six. Oh yeah, I told you that. You hope these guys are in the The NFL.

I'm gonna tell you about this man at number six. who reportedly is back at at at college Working out at number six, the top six rookie to watch. Shamar Stewart. Yeah, the Bengals selected him at 17th overall. out of Texas AM.

This man is a physical freak. He's 6'5. He's 270. He runs a 4-5-40-yard dash. Nobody that big.

It's supposed to move. That quick. He has a 40-inch vertical leap. Nobody that big is supposed to jump that high. And ultimately, the Bengals selected him to replace Sam Hubbard.

who retire.

Now the knock on Shamar Stewart is that he would get to the quarterback. but that he wouldn't sack him. Despite all of that. the Bengals took him at seventeen overall. They still have an issue to work out with Trey Hendrickson.

Shamar Stewart hasn't signed his contract. Apparently, the Bengals are trying to chew him down on some of the particulars as it relates to guarantees. And so he stopped showing up. And when he did show up to rookie minicamp, he didn't participate. But he did speak to the media.

And he said, between me and Trey Hendrickson and He said the Bengals, the team that drafted me, they're being cheap. Take it day by day. Pray to God. You know, he's always gonna stand with me. No matter no matter what.

Uh And just know You're doing the right thing. Like some people say We all agree Trey will be right, right? But technically still 1% wrong. For being on the contract.

So And in my case, I'm 100% right.

So it should be a no-brainer. And in Trey's case, I think it should be a no-brainer too. I mean he led 17 and a half sacks and two for two years back to back. If I was the gym or I was the owner. Take all my money, but I guess they don't operate like that, but Yeah, listen, man.

When you got a guy. Who just got drafted, and he's already throwing this cheap organization under the bus. That's not a good look. Let's see if Shamar Stewart even shows up. And plays for the Bengals this year.

There's a lot of conversations as to whether he will attempt to go back to college, whether he can legally do so. This is just a wild, wild west right now. And then, if he were to get drafted again, I believe the Bengals would still have his rights.

So, let's see what happens with Shamar Stewart. I got him number six on my list, top six NFL rookies to watch in 2025. What's next? Number five. Oh, well let's go from one defender.

to another. Oh this guy is expected to play. His name at number five. Abdul Carter. This is another freak.

Coming out of Penn State. This man, just last season, 12 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, 4 passes, defense. He didn't stop. He didn't slow down. It didn't matter if he was hurting the college football playoff.

He still showed up. People want to see. Can he and Kayvon Thibodeau team up to be The next best edge rushers. For the New York Giants. Every time the New York Giants have been successful, Their defense has gotten to the quarterback.

Now is Abdul Qada gonna show up and show out or is he still worried? about Lawrence Taylor's number. This is this when you have this much hubris When you have this much gall, to ask for Lawrence Taylor's number upon being drafted. You make me think that you're uh kind of clueless. When he got drafted, This is what he had to say about wearing L T 56.

First of all, I had to make this clear. You're gonna get that 11, right? I don't know, but I got a different number in mind. Oh, what number? I'm heartbroken already.

I told the dude he's gonna get that. I said we better have the best spot in the history of football. What number are you thinking, bro? I don't know, 56 sound real good, but we gotta have a conversation. Oh.

Yeah. He was having a chat with Michael Parsons, who also went to Penn State. But the thing is at Penn State in college You know, they just all run through the numbers. Everybody keeps the number and then passes it on to the next guy. In the NFL, to even think about having Lawrence Taylor's number is almost sacrilegious.

You just leave it alone. Abdul Carter ultimately settled in on wearing number fifty one. But the idea that you would even ask just makes me think. Are you that full of yourself? Are you that clueless?

How are you going to work in New York if you happen to be clueless? It's not going to work out all that great. Let's see if Abdul Qada has learned a thing or two. Or whether or not getting to the quarterback will kinda solve all of his Issues. Top six NFL rookies to watch in 2025.

I got Abdul Carter at number five. Who and what is next? Number four. It's kinda crazy. At number four I have Cam Ward.

The man who was selected at number one overall The man. Who just won the Davey O'Brien Championship, or excuse me, Davey O'Brien. Trophy as national quarterback of the year. Is number four on the list? Like the Tennessee Titans decided to go with him at number one overall.

Because he just threw for 4,000 yards, 36 touchdowns, 7 interceptions. He rushed for another 200 on the ground. He can run when he needs to. But he's boring, right? He's boring.

He's he was selected number one overall and he's boring. I mean, he was having conversations and he's working out with Shador Sanders, who has his own issues and own problems. And Shador is asking Cam Ward. Bruh, what do you do? Besides play football.

Like, do you make music? Like, what do you do? And Cam Ward made it very clear: bro, I don't do anything. He says, I play football. Leave me alone.

Come on bro, let's make a song. Let's drop for him real s. I play football. Here we go. Football.

Should play football. You ain't got no hobbies on Saturday? Oh, football. That's the only thing I don't want people to know me as football players. Let's search your can wood.

Let me see. American football. All he does is go out there, and play football. And all he's done throughout his college career is improve. Whether it's starting at Incarnate Word, going to Washington State, playing for Miami, where he balled out and was selected at number one overall.

Well apparently Man, he has so much gumption. And God bless them. He's already trash-talking his teammates with the Tennessee Titans. And so, yeah, this guy seemingly is all about football. His head coach, Brian Callahan, who's basically relying on Cam Ward to help save his job, Brian Callahan said, Man, he is out there trash-talking everybody.

And he knows the playbook, too. Listen to this. I'm not used to calling plays to a quarterback who's usually still talking when I'm talking to him. And that's great. And so I asked him after practice and I said, just help me out here.

Do you need me to wait till you finish? And he goes, no, he goes, I'm listening.

So he's hearing what I'm telling him, and it was pretty remarkable to see. all the things going on and how much he's talking, but like his brain is still Like. With me, I guess is the best way to put it like when I'm calling a play It's all he's doing all he's doing, but he's listening to everything I'm telling him. And he enters right into the huddle and he calls a play and doesn't script a play call. And I thought that was actually kind of remarkable.

I don't know, I couldn't do that.

So that's just kind of who he is. That's his personality. Yeah, well I'm I'm looking forward to seeing more of his personality. I don't think we'll know his favorite food. I don't think we'll know his favorite band.

Because all I know about this man Cam Ward is that he just likes football. It's really that simple. He just likes football. I got him at number four on my list. You wanna talk about the top six rookies to watch in 2025?

Yeah, Cam Ward. Number four, even though he was selected at number one.

Next up on the list, where are we at? Number three. Running backs are always uh peculiar. Running backs are always interesting. You never know what you're gonna get.

Sometimes running backs are shot out of a cannon. They have short shelves, lives or short shelf lives, excuse me. You wanna see what you get. When you think about Ashton Genty, I'm very eager to see what he can help bring. to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Okay, look. I know. You got Geno Smith back there. He has a tendency every now and then to throw the ball to the wrong team. I think that they are heavily going to rely on Ashton Genty to help balance out that offense.

They took him at number six overall. He won the Maxwell Award as college football's best running back. He won the Dolt Walker Award for being a top running back. This man was threatening records, the rushing record, from Barry Sanders. He's like a movie character, Ashton Genti is.

The way he lined up in a backfield and took the handoff, people waited to see. what he was going to do. How is this going to translate over into the NFL?

Well One guy who apparently wanted to change him. And then he said he didn't. Was Chip Kelly? Yeah, Chip Kelly is helping to run the offense right now. For the Las Vegas Raiders, hanging out with Pete Carroll, and Ashton Jensi says he told Up and Adams, K.

Adams, he's like, listen. They're already trying to change me.

Well, why fix something if it ain't broke? Listen to this. You know.

Sometimes you gotta, you know. Go with the flow. What's crazy is Man, Chip Kelly, he comes with me. First day of rookie minicamp. He like you play basketball?

Like, you ever play basketball? I'm like, yeah, I play basketball. Like, you know, I could dunk all that. He's like, okay. He was like, show me how you would guard me.

Like, and he acting like he holding the ball. He's like, show me how you guard me. He's holding the ball. Like, act like you're holding the ball.

Okay, got it. And I'm boom, I'm like, I'm here. Like, I'm, you know what I'm saying? And he was like, that's exactly why you gotta be down in your running back stance. No.

Self-conviction. I was. And then you won? Uh just like that? That's all it took.

He won for now. I'm gonna try to uh persuade him one day. I got it. I gotta earn my stripes, make some plays first, but I don't think it's gonna be the end.

Well, we have to see what he does on next. What's next up on the list after Ashton Genty? Number two. At number two. We got to take a look at the man who plays offense and plays defense.

His name is Travis Hunter. We know this man just won the Heisman, but the bigger issue with Travis Hunter is: well, can he do it? Travis Kelsey doesn't think so. What's the expectation of all pro both sides? Both sides, see, that's the thing.

I don't know how they're gonna divvy it out. I don't know if uh, because teams are gonna be going after him, right? And like, they're gonna try and make his day, yeah, they're gonna try and make his day miserable. If he plays corner, they're gonna run deep, deep balls at him all day. They're gonna run the wide receivers, just take off on him all day just to try and get his, like, him tired.

Yeah, like, why wouldn't you just attack him that way? What what the air? The idea is to go out there. And where Him. Out.

Apparently Travis Hunter has a battery. Unlike anybody that we've seen before. In his GM? He thinks he could change the game. There are players who have the capacity to to alter a game.

There are players who have the capacity to alter the trajectory of a team. There are very few players who have the capacity to alter the trajectory of the sport itself. Travis, well he has a lot to still earn. in our eyes, has the potential to do just that. Yeah.

We're gonna find out sooner than later. Trevor Lawrence needs the help. The Jacksonville Jaguars need a star. And Travis Hunter. Trying to do something that we haven't seen.

really since Charles Woodson. or Champ Bailey or Deion Sanders. Travis Hunter is trying to do this. At a different level. I have him at number two on my list.

If you want to take a look and think about The top six rookies to pay attention to in 2025. We're going to take a break. When we come back on the other side, Well I think we're left. With only one more name. Do you want to talk about the tops rookie to watch in 2025?

I'm going to tell you what it is on the other side of the break. You're locked in. It's the JR Sport Brief Show coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. I'm trying. I'm tryin' my best. Yeah, we're in the midst of a new top six list. Rookies are showing up for training camp ahead of the Veterans next week all over the NFL. And I wanted to share with you a new top six list.

taking a look at some of the biggest rookies to watch, In twenty twenty five. These are the biggest storylines. These are the biggest names. These are the biggest, well, Could be stars could be. Hopefully they're not busts.

In a few minutes I'm going to share with you who I have at Numero Uno. At number six, I gave you Shamar Stewart coming out of Texas ANF. The problem with Shamar? He was drafted seventeenth by the Bengals and He's not under contract. And apparently, he's back working out at Texas AM.

No, he's not working out with the football team. But he's in the area. He's back with the school. And now there are rumors that He might not sign his contract and try to re enter the NFL draft.

Next year. At number five Top six NFL rookies to watch I gave you Abdul Carter. Yeah, he had a great career at Penn State. New York Giants are open that he comes through and just wrecks every quarterback. in the NFC East.

But a guy who comes in and immediately says I want to wear L T's number. and literally asked L T is either a complete nut in a good way, or somebody who's a little too full of themselves. Then number five, I gave you Abdul Carter. And number four. I'm looking at Cam Ward.

He was the man selected at number one overall.

Okay, you think about Cam Ward. Coming out of Incarnate Ward, Washington State, then Miami, best quarterback last year in college football. 22 years old. He is strictly business. He is strictly all about Football.

Yeah, the number one guy selected overall. Number four on my list. And number three. It's a running back, Ashton Genty. Selected at number six by the Las Vegas Raiders.

How is he gonna fit in? In the NFL. Is he too small? He was certainly dynamic in college football, didn't matter too much. You think about the Raiders are trying to find their best running back now that Josh Jacobs has been gone a year.

Aston Genty is going to be tasked with trying to plug that hole. And number two. I gave you the man that's trying to plug multiple holes. He's over here playing offense. He'll play defense.

How they balance it out is to be seen. And number two. I gave you Travis Hunter. We're trying to find the first real two way player. since Charles Woodson.

We've seen players do it here and there. But Travis Hunter's tryin' to take it to another level. How much and how often we can do it, he can do it. We're going to have to wait and see. Travis Hunter, number two on my list.

when it comes down to the top six NFL rookies to watch. And so if he is number two, that leaves us here. Number one The number one rookie to watch In twenty twenty five. Is a rookie that we actually don't know when he's going to play at number one on my list. I give you Shador Sanders.

This was supposed to be the second best quarterback in the entire draft. He had to wait until the fifth round to be selected. by the Cleveland Browns. Damn it, he had all these quarterbacks taken in front of him. I told you about Cam War, Jackson, Dart, Tyler, Shuck, went to the Saints.

Come on now. Jalen Milrose in Seattle. And Dylan Gabriel is on a team with him as well. Shador Sanders is the biggest name. that came out of this year's draft.

He has the biggest story and his last name, Sanders, may have been one of the reasons why he ultimately fell. in the draft. At least he's been Humble, right? That was one of the issues, one of the reasons that he may have fallen in the draft. You know, people were saying that Shador wasn't prepared and he wasn't ready to go, and that he was a little full of himself.

And let's just say his dad, Dion. didn't care for some of these rumors. I know it was a lot of rumors about the next level and I can't see that. yeah i can get the next level and i thank a couple people who uh may have taken shots at my my kids. They were afraid that I would go.

That's where the shots came from. All you gotta do is just sit back and listen. People don't want to do that. They want to create these narratives and create these stories and then attach them to a kid that ain't never done nothing wrong. How does that make you feel when you see your colleagues or your peers going in on you, man?

Like, how does that make you feel? No idea, man. You have no idea. When you sit up there and say something like, He went in a meeting unprepared like. Do Shador Sanders, who's had six different coordinators, who has still functioned and went up, leveled up every time we brought somebody new in.

And you're going to tell me he's every situation.

So it was some bullish stuff that went on, but you know what? That gave them something that they needed.

Well, you know, despite Any rumours, true or not? His last name still is Sanders. And I th I still believe there was a thought That Dion may interfere or be a pain in the bond, whether it's from afar or on Twitter or social media, whether it's indirectly, that's a factor as well. And then when you factor in his play, There are a lot of people who think that he may not necessarily translate over into the NFL for his. Uh n not lack of elite.

Athleticism. And so I think when you combine all of it, Teams just said, pass, no thanks. I don't need the great unknown. I don't need the uncertainty. I don't need the headache.

and so Chadour fell to the fifth round. Credit to him. When he was drafted, And he spoke. To the media in Cleveland, Shador Sanders basically said, I'm not trying to. Prove anybody wrong.

I'm just trying to show up to work and earn my job. Listen to this. Like my job here isn't to prove people wrong. Like I prove myself right. Uh that's that's that's and I and I fully I still believe.

You know, and uh what what those people say, that's that's just their opinion, so I don't truly care. They they they don't really live in my Middle space. About that type of stuff. Really doesn't. do anything for me.

Well, that's that's the perfect thing to say upon being introduced to the media. That's the best thing to say. And he does have to earn his keep. You think about the quarterbacks in front of him? Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett.

Dylan Gabriel is in front of him. Joe Flacco will likely get the starting job for the Cleveland Browns until. He loses and sucks. Then Kenny Pickett'll probably get his chance. And then, damn, what a world it'll be if Shador doesn't beat out Dylan Gabriel.

to get his crack at it. He will. And so so far Shaddur has said and done the right things. Oh oh, well, on the football field. Because uh when it comes to leaving the facility?

This man has been sighted twice. for excessive speeding. At one point in time he was driving one hundred and one. miles per hour. And not necessarily the way that you want to prove that you're not.

immature. Not the right way to lay low and stick the football when you're bringing attention to yourself for reasons away from the field. It's a speeding ticket, but it's also something that might show, hey, man, you still got some learning and growing to do, Period. Listen to this from WKYC in Ohio. Browns rookie quarterback Shadur Sanders was ticketed for speeding when he was clock driving over 101 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.

According to documents obtained by Three News, this happened just after midnight Tuesday in Strongsville. He's been summons to appear in court July 3rd. Sanders was selected by the Browns after falling to the fifth round in the NFL draft. Come on. He's the storyline.

He's the guy to watch. You know, out of all the rookies that we got, all the names that I gave you. Shador's the most interesting. A guy who fell from being the number two quarterback selected should have been there in the first round. Falls into the fifth?

I don't think we've ever seen anything like this in NFL history. I don't think we've ever seen anybody like Deion Sanders in NFL history.

So not a shock that something like this bleeds on down into his son. You want to talk about the number one rookie to watch for in 2025? The biggest story? It's what will take place with Shador Sanders. When will he play?

How often will he play? What will be the circumstances of which he gets an opportunity to play, and what will he do? when he actually steps on to the field. Top six list of NFL rookies to watch in 2025. I gave you Shamar Stewart at number six.

I gave you Abdul Carter at five. I gave you Cam Ward at four. Ashton Genty at three. Travis Hunter at two, and Shador Sanders. At number One.

The phone lines are open to you right now. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-481. four I S N Yeah, there's more than six rookies. But I think these individuals have the biggest stories, and I think they're most noteworthy to pay attention to.

Is there a rookie that stands out to you? What rookie? Are you most interested in seeing in 2025? The phone lines are open to you as these rookies start getting into NFL training camp. 888-710-4ISN is the number.

That's 888-710-4ISN. It's not a bigger name that I want to see more than Shador Sanders. It's the JR Sport Re Show here on the Infinity Sports Network. I just gave you a new top six list. It's what I do every single Wednesday. And today we took a look. And some of the top rookies in the NFL This upcoming season. The top six NFL rookies to watch in 2022.

Five. On my list, at number six, I gave you Shamar Stewart, God only knows if he's going to be in the NFL because the Bengals are so damn cheap. And number five, I gave you Abdul Carter. Anybody arrogant enough to request the number of a legend in Lawrence Taylor, I think, is a complete nut. Let's see if he's a good NFL nut or crazy guy.

And before I gave you the number one overall pick. And Cam Ward. And number three. I gave you Ashton Genty. And number two.

Travis Hunter Of course massive curiosity as to How often is he going to play? When is he going to play? Where is he going to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars? And then, number one overall, I think the biggest rookie to pay attention to besides Travis Hunter. It's Shador Sanders.

The man fell from the first round to the fifth round. Is he going to beat out? How long is it going to take him to beat out the guys in front of him, the Flaccos of the world, the Dylan Gabriels, and he's being mentored by Deshaun Watson? Hopefully, for things not off the field. Anyway, we got Shador here.

I got Shador. At number one on my list, the phone lines are open. That's 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4. four I S.

N. We're talking about some of the rookies that And you really want to pay attention to. Top Rookies to Watch Let's go to Mike in Baltimore. You're on the JR Sport Brief Show. What's up, Mike?

Hey, JR. How you doing tonight, brother? I'm excellent. How are you? What's on your mind?

I'm doing good. I'm looking forward to seeing Melika Starks, who the Ravens drafted. I'm looking really forward to seeing him in the backfield I mean, in the you know, in defensive backfield with uh Marlon Humphreys and And uh Kyle Hamilton and I think he's gonna gonna make an impact. Oh, absolutely. I saw him live and in person here in Georgia with the Bulldogs, and he should most definitely make an impact.

It looked like the the Baltimore Ravens, who had issues at the corners last year, have certainly decided to up the ante. I mean, that that that defensive backfield is stacked. Malachi Starks was certainly fitting. Pretty well. And the good thing for him, there's not going to be massive expectations.

He's just going to be asked to go out there. Yeah, and carry his way. It's a good one, Mike. Thank you for calling from Baltimore. All right.

Thanks, Gerald. No doubt about it. 888-710-4ISN is the number. That's 888-710-4ISN. We're talking about the top six NFL rookies to watch in twenty twenty five.

These guys are already showing up to rookie camp.

Well, excuse me, they're showing up to real training camp. They make the rookie show up earlier. Let's talk to John. John is calling from Green Bay. You're on the JR Sport Re Show, John.

What's up? Hey, JR. So I just want to bring up real quick, it seems like people get kind of negative with Shadur, and I think even Bronny James can be looped into this. point I'm going to bring up. These guys, they could have they could have lived off of daddy's money just playing video games and being lazy around the house all their years, but they took advantage of the opportunities they had and they made something of themselves and they at least made it to the you know, they got drafted by an NFL team and Brownie played um He played at Stanford, I believe, right?

No, he played at USC. He had a heart attack. USC. And then he really didn't play. He didn't play, really, no.

Yeah, but still, I mean, I'm just like even Shadur, he took advantage of the opportunities they had. People, I just. people get negative with them all the time and it's just Just wanted to bring up the fact that they did, I mean, they made the best of the opportunities they did have. I don't, I know, no, no, I would not put. I would not put Shadora Sanders and Bronnie James in the same category outside of their dads, or some of the best athletes to ever play.

in their respective sports. earned his his draft status in stock.

Now, what took place post-career or post-his college career that caused him to fall? I mean, I I I talked about some of the reasons. Bronnie was a McDonald's All-American. He unfortunately had a heart issue before he started at USC. He didn't really play at USC.

When he did, he played poorly, and he was selected at number 55 overall. And so I would not say that he just. Kind of earned his way into the NBA. He earned the opportunity to get there because of his dad. I wouldn't put him and Shador in the same place.

Okay.

Well, I just wanted to bring that up.

So Okay.

Well, thank you, John, for calling from Green Bay. Appreciate you. Yeah, I don't think I don't think one has to do with the other. Wow, they're both famous kids of of of athletes? Like what What else is bron at least Shador.

He played.

Okay, he played. He played at Jackson State. He played at Colorado, and yeah, his dad has been coaching him since he was a a little kid. But Shador has numbers and stats to to back him up. What what does Bronnie James at?

Botcher, am I missing anything? Did did Bronny do something to get into the NBA that I missed besides being the son of LeBron? Uh you can only I guess, look at anything towards potential. But there's so many players. in high school that get selected to the McDonald's game.

and don't become anything.

So it's 100% because of LeBron. But to say that he couldn't get into the NBA later in his college career. I can't discredit him for that because I think he had the potential to develop at his time at USC.

Well, we yeah well, yeah, we don't know that. W we're we're factoring in the reality. The reality is he was a McDonald's All-American. He goes to USC. and after unfortunately dealing with a heart issue which put a pause to his basketball career, plays twenty five games at USC.

and averages A whopping. I mean I gotta put my glasses on. Five points. In twenty minutes a game. That's it.

Is it five points in twenty minutes a game? That's not earning your way into the the NBA. It's not. He earned himself a spot being at USC. His dad gave him a spot.

in the NBA. And so we'll see how he grows. If his name was not LeBron James Jr., he would have still been at USC. or he would have transferred to another school. Or he would have been still trying to make his bones, ultimately somewhere still.

in college. But to put him in the same category of Shaddur, I just think is is way Yeah. Aww. Like Shador has film, Shador has tape. Shador's out here working out.

You know, with Tom Brady, two different guys.

So, yeah, but I get your point. Should do earned into what he has, but Bronny. Yeah, he earned and worked to what he has and his dad put him over the top. Uh not not not quite. The same.

Shador was expected to be someone selected early in the draft that did not take place. I don't know about that one. 888-710-4ISN is the number. That's eight eight eight seven ten 4ISN. I just gave you a top six list of NFL rookies to watch for in 2025.

I got Shador Sanders at number one on my list. Bacher, as we head into this season. Is there an NFL rookie that you're just like, Man, what the heck is this guy gonna do? Besides for the the six you listed, Tedera McMillan on the Panthers. Just because he was a top ten pick And you could say that he didn't have the best season at Arizona.

that he might Be someone to watch just because the Panthers need a receiver besides for Thielen. And Bryce Young had developed a little bit. He's someone I just want to watch and just see how develops over the season goes just because there's nothing really going on in Carolina. And if he somehow becomes a Pro Bowler, That'd be great to see. Man, yeah, they are hu I'm not gonna say they're huge expectations this upcoming season with the Carolina Panthers.

But Bryce Young, this is the prove it year for Bryce Young. With Canalis. And of course, at every off-season, you hear about guys who've improved and guys who have gotten better. Tenoroa McMillan has been talked about for the past several years coming out of Arizona. And then I I like the fact that Leggett even said I mean, when he's not talking about eating raccoon and cooking things up in the woods.

Legat pretty much said that his rookie season That he sucked. And so good, he he's a bully and a beast as a wide receiver last year. Five hundred yards receiving. and four touchdowns. Is he going to be able to add to that this upcoming season?

You would think with Tedore, McMillan out there, and yes, Adam Thielen is old as dirt, old as Methuselah, that we would see something change. And then this is also interesting. People don't talk about this. Hunter Renfro. It's also back.

In the NFL. And so he's going to be on the Carolina Panthers. How much burn he gets. Um CBD. to be determined, to be seen.

I I think being back in the Carolinas will do him good as Hunter Renfrew went out there and just starred. uh for Clemson Eight eight eight seven ten four I S N That's eight eight eight seven ten 4ISN. We're taking a look at some of the the top rookies to pay attention to. in twenty twenty five. As I sit here in the studio, The Espies are also on.

Botcher, it's one thing to watch a sporting event live. I can have an idea of what's going on. Has there anything. Worthwhile? Is anything worthwhile to happen at the SPs tonight so far?

I can't, since I couldn't hear any of the jokes from the monologue. I can't really say. But they give it a couple of awards already. I think Simone Bao has got one. Ilonamar got one, Saquon got one.

And then now I think they're doing a tribute to is that What, Lee Corso? I can't see you. Oh, my God. I think I've seen a terrible joke already. Oh, my God.

And I'm reading it. The comedian from earlier today. What's his name? What's the guy's name? Jengios.

Apparently he's he started you know, at the beginning of the show they start naming the athletes that happen to be in attendance? Mm-hmm. He got to Carl Anthony Townsend. He said, Carl Anthony Townsend. Hey girl That's kind of funny.

Cheap humor. Carl Anthony Towns is never going to be able to. He has a beautiful girlfriend, but he's never going to be able to escape this. Damn. Anyway, 888-710-4ISN.

That's 888-710-4ISN. We're going to take a break. I'm going to confirm that that's the joke that I just heard. We'll talk about everything that we got into today. The phone lines are still open.

If you want to give a holler, we're talking about some of the best rookies to watch. I got Shador. Number one on my list. 888-710-4ISN. You're locked in to the JR Sport Brief Show, coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.
