It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to everybody tuned in and locked in all over North America.

We get started every weekday 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 Pacific. Man, we've had a hell of a show already. We've had a busy show.

So much news going on. A little bit more than a week away from the NFL Draft. We got teams that are trying to trade players. We got teams that are working guys out. Chadore Sanders is working with the Giants. Jalen Milro is meeting with all the teams. We just talked about Mark Andrews from the Baltimore Ravens. Could the Ravens move on from Mark Andrews? Miami Dolphins already told us that they're going to move away from Jalen Ramsey going to try to find a trade partner.

Travis Hunter has told us if I don't play offense and defense, I am gone. And the NBA play-in, the play-in tournament, like the teams that ended up in spot 7 through 10 that now have to play more basketball to officially get into the playoffs, it's underway. Right now, the Orlando Magic lead, the Atlanta Hawks 25 to 17. The winner of this game, congratulations. You face the Celtics in the first round. Speaking of the first round, doesn't look like we'll see Damian Lillard in the first round.

He's still out dealing with the blood clot in his leg. Yeah, I don't think that's the type of thing you just wake up, roll out of bed and play with. And so we have so much more to get into as things continue on. How about this? In about 20 minutes, we're going to have a conversation. You want to talk about playoffs? This is a global situation. We're going to have a conversation with FIFA president Gianni Infantino. This is going to be a big deal because we have Club World Cup soccer.

The first Club World Cup is going to take place here in June and July in the United States of America. We're going to get all the details in about 20 minutes. Huge, massive deal. You want to be a part of the show? You can do that. Here's a phone number 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. You can find me online. I exist everywhere at JR Sport Brief.

I'm in Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to our producer holding things down, Nico Scarlatos, doing an amazing job today. We talked about everybody being traded, guys wanting to move around. It's just it's a wild time in the sports world.

And how can I forget? We talked about one of the most poorly executed trades ever. Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison basically said, I don't regret trading Luca. Somebody asked him in 10 years, somebody asked him in 15 years. Matter of fact, is he even going to have the job in three? You know, given the damage that he's done and he's done and got the approval from the owner, the owner's not going to fire himself. Patrick Dumont is not going anywhere.

So that's just something that we're going to have to pay attention to. What a terrible, terrible moment could be in sports history. I mean, even before Jason Kidd made a joke about it last week, oh, people are comparing this trade with Luca to Babe Ruth. There's a reason why Babe Ruth, why people talk about that trade with the Red Sox, why they sold him to the Yankees, because it was bad.

The Red Sox were basically cursed. Luca Doncic being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers is it's not a joke. If you're a Mavericks fan, nobody wants to hear about Babe Ruth. That's bad for you, Jason Kidd. That's bad for the Dallas Mavericks. This could go down as one of the worst transactions in sports history. And now that I got that out the way. I do want to turn this into a a positive.

You know, we got to have balance here. That might be one of the worst trades in baseball history. OK, looking at Babe Ruth, it is in the Red Sox and selling them to the Yankees. Terrible. Luca Doncic being moved being moved from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers. Absolutely. Terrible.

And Tom will give us an indicator sooner than later, maybe later than sooner, how terrible this is. But right now, I want to tell you about a transaction that took place in Major League Baseball history. That is good.

That is great. That has had more of an impact on society than sports could even even think about. Putting this in a sports category doesn't even do it justice. If you listen to the show, you know, at the end of every single show, I share with you a few things that took place this day in sports history. Well, today, and we're going to get back into it at the end of the show. But I didn't want to just talk about this and, you know, five minute block. I wanted to talk about what happened this day in sports history right now.

So I can have as much time as I can before we have a chat with FIFA president Gianni Infantino. Here it is, April 15th, 1947. Jackie Robinson stepped out onto the baseball field and he played ball for the Dodgers in 1947. At that point in time, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier.

At that point in time, outside of the Walker family, I'm pretty sure you've heard the name Moses Fleetwood Walker, his brother Weldy. There were no blacks. There were no African-Americans. There was nobody of the type playing baseball in major leagues, in the major leagues since 1884. OK, that is sixty three years.

And so what baseball does every single year at this time, everybody wears the number 42. And today is April 15th, 2025. I want to take you back to April 15th in 1947.

And someone who did a good job documenting what took place a couple of years ago was CNN. And right now, I want to show some love to Jackie Robinson. Take a listen to this clip. He made his major league debut on April 15th, 1947 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and his long list of accomplishments would go on to include playing with six All-Star teams and winning a World Series. It's a single for the Dodgers slugging second baseman. But the whole time he endured racism and death threats from fans, other players, even his own teammates. It just means that a colored man will be able to play on the same field with a white man for the first time.

Three years after his milestone moment, Robinson starred in a movie about his own life. Tell me, Jackie, what do you think would actually happen if you were to get out on a white baseball field? I don't know. They might call me names. They might even beat me up. I don't mean what would happen to you, Jackie. I mean, what would happen to the colored people? Might start fights.

Might even start a riot. That fight created opportunities for generations of other black baseball players. The late Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, who famously hit 755 home runs, told CNN in 1997 he wouldn't have achieved that career record if Robinson hadn't opened the door. Yeah, it's, it's, it's facts. It might've been later.

It would have been inevitable. But the way that Jackie Robinson conducted himself, and this is a tough thing, just forget Nico Harrison is a whole nother level. Imagine being hated just for what you look like, like, like what type of backwards ass world is that? And we got a lot of backwards ass people in the world.

Like who cares what anybody looks like? Like how do you, how do you treat folks? And Jackie Robinson, certainly how he, he, he composed himself through a terrible time. And man had to take a verbal, a mental beating to basically open up the doors for other people just to play baseball. Like what is a, what's the big deal?

It's a game. And if you think back to 1947, it wasn't just Jackie who showed up at that point in time and broke the color barrier. Larry Doby came by, had the beginning of a Hall of Fame career, what were then called the Indians. We could think about Hank Thompson, who came through with the St. Louis Browns and the Giants.

I mean, we had Willard Brown who joined Thompson on those Browns. They were the first black teammates. This all took place in 1947. Like we get all, you know, thinking, and in here, we hear about Jackie Robinson, but the effect afterwards, I don't want to say it was immediate, but all of this took place in the same season.

And how about this? This day in 1947, Jackie stepped out onto the field for the Dodgers in Brooklyn at the time. It was until August that the Dodgers then added his first black teammate who happened to be a pitcher in Dan Bankhead.

Okay. It's, it's a wild world. I mean, the color barrier was broke this day in 1947. And then we had a team, the Red Sox, think about this.

They didn't add a single black player until 1959 at all. And so major league baseball, all teams across the majors, you turn on a game and today you'll see everybody running around in his iconic 42. And the last play that we saw in the number 42 happened to be Mariano Rivera.

That number has been phased out. No one will ever wear it again. And so teams all across baseball honoring the legacy of Jackie Robinson, who I think is someone to be honored, given to how he conducted himself, he was nothing but class and dignity. In 1947, Jackie Robinson ended up winning Rookie of the Year. He was MVP.

Listen to me. He was MVP in 1949. He was the first black player ever to walk away with the award.

The Dodgers won the title in 1955. This man was an All-Star from 49 to 54. And just let's just take a listen to what the Houston Astros, this is a video, part of a video that they posted today from inside their organization from the players who appreciate him the most. Jackie Robinson Day is probably one of the most influential days of the year for us. I'd say the way he carried himself, you know, set the bar high for for the African American players to play just as he did. Jackie has taught us a great lesson of humility and, you know, keeping his composure during some of the most difficult times when he was the only African American playing. You really see the the lane that he paved for a lot of players that looked like me.

A lot of players that look like the guys that I grew up watching. Having a man like Jackie who kept his composure really make make and create great impact on all of our lives here today. And I think, you know, we can learn a lot from Jackie. Oh, even today in 2025, let's let's think about that. In 1947, we can't have this black man out here playing baseball. We can't.

And I think even if we look to today, it doesn't matter what anybody looks like. All people want, I think in a lot of cases, is a chance just to go out there and quote unquote play. That's it. Just you step out onto the grass, you step out onto the field. It's a chance. It's an opportunity to just play. And at that point, you make of it what you will. You don't leave anybody out on the sidelines. Let them play. Let let what they do speak for them.

Just at the flattest and the simplest. So I didn't want to hold that and get this tidbit in at the end of the show. I wanted to dedicate a little bit more time to what took place this day in sports history.

April 15th, 1947. And Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. And then it's a little bit more than just something that took place this day in sports history.

And a time and a space right now where history is contested. That is something that I definitely wanted to go out and highlight. It's the JR Sport Reshow here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network, 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. What we're going to do is take a break. And we come back on the other side of the break. I do want to have a conversation with Gianni Infantino.

Now this is very important for you to know. If you're a baseball fan, great. Your basketball fan, great. You like football, great.

I don't care what you like. Soccer here in America is growing all over the world. Soccer is the world's game. Everybody keeps up with the World Cup. We got the World Cup here in North America next year.

But before we get there, this upcoming June and July, we got a big deal. It's the first ever 32-team Club World Cup. And we know when we get the World Cup, we have the countries that are represented and countries get together and they battle it out. With this Club World Cup, we're going to find out who the best teams are on planet Earth, period.

It's like what Noah Lyles says. He tells the NBA guys, he's like, you guys are calling yourselves world champs and you are the world champions of what exactly? NBA teams aren't going overseas and playing in the Euro.

They're not playing the best team in China. Well, that's kind of what we're going to get here with the FIFA Club World Cup. Eleven cities all over North America, including right here in Atlanta, Georgia. We got games that will take place in D.C. and Miami.

Enter Miami is going to participate with Messi. We got the finale, the final at MetLife Stadium in New York City and New Jersey at MetLife Stadium. We got the Rose Bowl. We got a lot in Cincinnati.

All my people can check it out there. We got a lot of football, top flight football that is coming our way. So you know what? We got someone who's been waiting patiently on the line.

I want to get in a call and we're going to talk to the president of FIFA. This is David Stern. Not David Stern is Adam Silver. God rest David Stern's soul. This is Adam Silver and Roger Goodell.

This is everybody rolled up into one. Let's talk to David in Los Angeles before we get to the president. David, you are on the J.R.

Sport Reshow Coast to Coast. What's up, David? Hey, J.R., good to talk to you.

Thanks so much for taking my call. I was actually going to talk about the NFL draft, but, you know, your talk about Jackie Robinson made me want to reflect on his legacy and everything that he's meant to sports today. You know, I think for a guy like Jackie Robinson, I don't think at the time he understood what he was standing for and the full impact that he would play just by being on that field on April 15th, 1947. Jackie Robinson didn't just open the door for African-American ball players to show up in the MLB. He opened the door for other professional sports leagues to start integrating, not just bringing in the best black talent, but also the best talent period.

There's a reason why today the United States has some of the world's strongest professional sports leagues in these big sports. And that is because of the impact that Jackie Robinson made on that day, just by stepping onto the baseball diamond. So, you know, his legacy is cemented forever in American sports. And I'm very appreciative of the MLB every year for making sure that they honor him. Absolutely, David.

And thank you for coming by and sharing your insight. I mean, he is a piece of history. To David's point, it doesn't just stop with the Dodgers.

It doesn't just stop with with Major League Baseball. Like Jackie Robinson's legacy is it's American history, just flat and period, whichever way you want to cut it. I mean, his impact isn't something to be erased or diminished or slighted or put to the side. There's no parts about it that you pick apart and highlight other parts and you don't talk about the other sides of things.

No, it's his legacy is cemented. And as long as someone like myself or a caller like David, hey, if you got the information, information is great. Share it. Share it. Because if you stop sharing information, if you stop sharing what you know, then things get lost and that appreciation gets lost.

And then people don't go back and repeat the same horrible, terrible things that have taken place in the past. And so thank you so much, David, for from Los Angeles, for sharing your perspective on Jackie Robinson. And as long as I'm here, I'm going to continue to talk about him as well, and not just on, I don't know, once a year on April 15th. It is the J.R. Sportbree show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. Now we are going to take a break and when we come back, we'll have a guest. It's time to have a chat with the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, about what we can expect here in the United States of America with the upcoming Club World Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup.

Don't move. It's the J.R. Sportbree show on the Infinity Sports Network. It's the J.R. Sportbree show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.

This summer is going to be a massive summer, especially here in the United States from mid-June to mid-July. FIFA is doing something very spectacular. Eleven cities all over the United States of America, 32 teams, some of the best teams in the world will be competing right here. It is the FIFA Club World Cup. And right now I'm being joined by someone who is the authority on such a thing.

He's been the president of FIFA since 2016. Gianni Infantino, pleasure to meet you. Pleasure to meet you. Thanks for having me.

Absolutely. You know, we do things big here with the J.R. Sportbree show, talking to people all over the country. The FIFA Club World Cup is going to be big. 32 teams.

Why this time? Well, the FIFA Club World Cup is going to be very big. It is a World Cup. It is the 32 best club teams in the world. It is the best players in the world. We have the three best players of this year, the best players of last year, but many, many more. And they come to the U.S. in 11 cities from the 14th of June opening game in Miami to the 13th of July final in New York, New Jersey, to determine, well, which of these teams is actually the best in the world officially.

And this did not exist. This is the very first edition, very first time we play a World Cup for the teams. So far, we have just the World Cup for the countries, but we want to know as well which team is the best in the world. Now, we know here in the United States of America, the beautiful game has grown by leaps and bounds, and it continues to grow. For people who are still becoming familiar, Phil, I'm saying each one of these games, even here in Atlanta, we have six matchups.

These will almost be like individual Super Bowls bigger. 100% for the club, World Cup as it is called this year, and you have here the beautiful official bowl of it. Yes. So it's yours, but don't forget to take it for the matches.

Otherwise, we cannot play without a bowl. I got it. Well, can I get on the pitch?

Of course, you can get on the pitch. Okay. All right, all right, all right. Okay.

Okay. So we have 63 games. These are 63 Super Bowls in one month. These club teams, they have hundreds of millions, some of them a billion plus fans all over the world. They have the best players.

They are multinationals, and they come here to the United States to determine which one is the best. So not only it will be very, very competitive or serious games, but the amount of passion and emotion in the different cities in Atlanta will have six games in the different cities, but also in their home countries and their home cities of these teams, it will be just incredible. Absolutely. We have games and matches that are going to take place everywhere from Pasadena here in Atlanta, D.C. You talked about the finale up in New York City.

Yeah. It is going to be absolutely amazing. People have become more familiar here watching Messi in Miami. We'll have other stars.

Erling Haaland will be over as well. But it's not just about the football. FIFA is actually doing great things in every community, every whole city.

Phil, us in. Yeah, obviously. I mean, the one thing is, as you said, we organize the best events. We organize the World Cups. This club will cover the best players, the best teams.

But we are also aware of our social role, social responsibility that we have. And for this reason, we contribute to each of the 11 whole cities with one million U.S. dollars each to build maybe some mini pitches in areas where they are most needed and to create some activities for children that, you know, help these children, these children give them a smile, give them a moment of joy and happiness. So this is part of our thank you to all these great American cities for hosting the very first FIFA Club World Cup. The very first FIFA Club World Cup.

It's the JR Sport re-show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. President Gianni Infantino is here with us. When you talk about the economic impact, not just you'll just have in the communities, but also overall with the Club World Cup this year, the World Cup next year is going to be massive. We're talking billions and billions. We're talking billions and billions.

I mean, just think about it. This year we have three and a half million tickets for sale next year, six and a half million tickets. So massive amount of people coming, millions of fans coming from all over the world to the United States of America, billions of fans watching it. I mean, the Club World Cup itself will have at least three billion viewers all over the world.

But the economic impact of these two competitions will be in the range of 50 billion US dollars for the United States only. We create 300,000 jobs, full-time jobs for people in the United States who work around these competitions, these two World Cups. So it is massive.

It is big. It helps the community. It helps the economy here in the United States and it will help soccer or football as we call it outside of America.

It will help soccer to not just grow, but to really boom. Hey, President, we talked about the 11 cities where this is going to take place. Where can people find out more information so they can get in these cities, get in these stadiums where we're going to have these matches? Well, don't miss it. Don't miss it. Go on FIFA.com slash tickets. There are still some tickets available. We are making history here.

It is the first ever FIFA Club World Cup, the first ever. In 100 years when we will be speaking again. 100 years? Both of us?

Both of us. Technology is nice, but we'll see. No, no, we will celebrate the centenary of this FIFA Club World Cup and we will remember 100 years ago we were here talking about this. We make history.

Don't miss. This is big. This is huge. And here in Atlanta specifically, what has impressed you about things here? Well, Atlanta has really become a soccer city in the US. Beautiful stadium, Mercedes Benz Stadium, which is the team in the US, Atlanta United, that has the highest crowds, almost 50,000 per match on average. The stadium breathes soccer. Football is played there as well.

It's a real sports stadium, but this is a real sports city. So I'm sure fans from all over the world who will be coming here to follow their team with passion, they will invade Atlanta, but it will be a happy invasion, a joyful invasion. And this summer, June and July, people in Atlanta will celebrate with people from all over the world because Atlanta unites the world. Atlanta certainly unites the world. President Infantino, I want to thank you for taking time to join us and to talk and everyone listening all over North America. It's the JR Sport re-show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. It is the JR Sport re-show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.

I mean, that was a big deal in the last break. Thank you so much to the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, for joining us in the last break ahead of what will ultimately be the very first 32-team FIFA Club World Cup this June and this July. Eleven cities all over North America. Make sure you go to FIFA.com slash tickets to see what's closest to you, where you can get in. This is going to be a massive deal. I plan on getting out to as many matches as I possibly can. And if you wanted to get an exposure to the beautiful games, soccer slash football, this is your opportunity to go ahead and do so. I mean, we got the FIFA Club World Cup this year with all of the teams. We have the World Cup next year with all of the countries being represented here coming over to North America.

And so, hey, get your taste. Go ahead and check it out this year. The FIFA Club World Cup, June 14th to July 13th is going to be a big deal.

FIFA.com slash tickets. I want to go ahead and tell you this. This is going to be a bad update for you in a second if you're a fan of the Atlanta Hawks.

But before I do that, this is very important. The Defensive Player of the Week is sponsored by the Navy Federal Credit Union, who proudly serves the Armed Forces' DoD, veterans and their families. Their members are the mission.

You can learn more at navyfederal.org. This is pretty cool. It's Dyson Daniels. Oh, you're not familiar with Dyson Daniels.

You should be. Because Dyson Daniels' 229 steals this NBA season were the most in a season since the glove. Gary Payton had 231 steals back in the 95-96 season. That is a long time.

I mean, Dyson Daniels' nickname is the Great Barrier Thief. And right now he is in action. Unfortunately for him, he is playing for a team that is losing. I didn't think it would be this bad, but I did say the Atlanta Hawks are condescending out Trey Young, Dyson Daniels and a couple of guys like me at the end. Right now, this minute, the Hawks are getting smashed in Orlando. 61-45. 61-45.

We are about 43 seconds away from the half. Trey Young has 10 points, not having a great shooting game. 3 of 10 from the field. Paulo Bonquero, he has 9 points.

Wendell Carter Jr., an Atlanta native, he has 10. Not looking good here for Atlanta. I mean, at the rate that they're going right now, they're probably going to have to play on Friday night for a chance just to advance to get into the postseason. Whoever wins tonight's game will take on the Celtics.

That's not good either. And then the loser will still have another chance to get in, but they have to play the winner of the other East game, Miami and Chicago. Just a bunch of losers just trying to ultimately get in and win.

We'll keep you up to date. I don't expect the Atlanta Hawks to turn things around, but as our producer Nico likes to say, everybody still has a chance, huh Nico? Listen, I've seen, I know it's a different sport, but I've seen the 9 and 7 Giants win a Super Bowl one, so I'm always a believer.

Oh my God. Does Elon Manning shoot threes in crunch time? No, but everybody doubted him, so why can't Trae Young be the next Eli? Trae Young needs teammates.

I'm saying, I mean, do we have a helmet catch coming our way? I mean, is Ahmad Bracha somewhere like... Basketball, football is a team sport, right? I mean, everything is a team sport. Football is a team sport. Baseball is a team sport. And basketball, it's also a team sport. You can't win if you don't have great players. You gotta have people that drive home the victory. Trae Young can't go out here and go one on five against the Magic and win.

I mean, even Michael Jordan needed great teammates around him to have the ultimate success. We'll see. I ain't betting on the Atlanta Hawks to walk away with a victory here. Unfortunately for the Orlando Magic, unless they have an epic collapse like Rory McIlroy before this year.

That type of collapse. They'd have to have one of those to not advance to take on the Celtics, which by the way, you're screwed either way. It doesn't matter who's going to advance out of here in the East. The Cleveland Cavaliers are sitting firmly in that number one spot. The Boston Celtics are sitting there at number two.

And whoever comes out is going to have a tough go round at it. NBA playing action underway. As Hickey said last night, this is like watching the first four of March Madness, except for the first four in that 68. Everybody's a little bit more excited, I think. College students, everybody's excited. Any excuse to go out there and have it.

But speaking of college students not having a party. Everybody's been talking about Chador Sanders. Oh, he's meeting with the New York Giants.

We heard from Travis Hunter earlier in the show. He said if he's not going to play offense, if he's not going to play defense, he doesn't want to play in the NFL. I think that's just a lot of posturing.

I don't think he means anything by it. We haven't heard a lot about another quarterback prospect. Everything is Cam Ward and Chador. Not even Jackson Dart in that regard. People don't talk about Jalen Milro. This guy has been and was a physical freak. Jalen Milro is one of the quarterbacks who hasn't been afraid during the combine, during his pro day to go out there and show off the fact that he is a physical freak. I mean, just on the ground last year for Alabama, this man rushed for 20 touchdowns.

He threw for another 16. Like the raw skills are there. He is a physical freak. You just want his decision making to catch up to what he can already do physically. And I think he can grow into being a starting quarterback in the league once he learns how to operate more as a pocket passer. A lot of people looked at Lamar Jackson for a very long time, a very long time. He needs to be a running back. Why is he a quarterback?

Like we've been through all of this already. Jalen Milro, I'm not going to say he's going to be Lamar Jackson, a multiple time NFL MVP, but I think he can start in the league and nobody talks about him. And so now a little more than a week away from the draft, we're getting some reports here regarding Jalen Milro that, hey, there are teams who might decide to go out there and snatch him up. The Rams looking for a quarterback of the future.

Come on. They just had to come to an agreement with Matthew Stafford to stick around for a little while longer. The Rams are, they're going to take a meeting with Jalen Milro. The New York Giants, they got a quarterback room already crowded.

I mean, it's going to be an interesting pregame with Russell Wilson and Jamis Winston and Tommy DeVito all in the same quarterback room. We don't know if they're going to add Chidor. They're going to add Jalen Milro. We're going to find out soon enough. And would the Giants dare take Jalen Milro at number three?

I think the answer is no. They were going to take a quarterback. I think you would take Chidor if Cam Ward is no longer available. And so Jalen Milro feeling kind of popular right now. And not a shot.

Chidor didn't throw. We got other guys. Cam Ward is just like, hey, I'll throw up my pro day. Jalen Milro wanted you to see how fast, how big, how strong, how athletic he was.

Why? Because he wanted to improve his draft stock. Everybody complaining about Chidor and Cam Ward. If they're already expected to be one and two when it comes down to the quarterbacks, why risk going out there and falling into spot number three? Why risk people criticizing you when all the footage and everything that you need to be available is all on film from last year? Jalen Milro?

Not in that category. Of course, he's trying to boost his draft stock. And so he was actually asked by ESPN, why are you out here? Or why have you been out? Why have you been doing so much to show people what you're capable of?

Listen to what Jalen had to say. I'm very competitive. So everything that I had along this period of time of draft prep, I took advantage of it. And I prepared my butt off for it. And so it was one step closer. You know, I think it's just every step along the way when it comes to draft prep. And so that's something that I had. And so it's all about putting my best foot forward.

Oh, okay. Like you can beat you can be competitive. You can be you can be competitive. You also have to be you got to be strategic. You got to think about when the where the why the who. It's it like I don't think it has anything to be competitive. If he was expected, if Jalen Monroe was expected to be the number one quarterback taken in the draft.

It's it's very simple here. He wouldn't be working. He wouldn't be working out for anybody. Jalen Monroe would be sitting on his couch. He'd be oh, maybe, maybe not.

Nico, have you seen that guy? What do you think he eats in a day? How many calories you think? What do you think his diet looks like?

You guys cut out of granite. I mean, I wish right. Oh, well, I didn't ask you if you wanted his body. So what do you think he eats? Well, whatever he's eating, I got to ask him because I don't know either what clearly what I'm doing isn't working. Damn. A couple of chickens, protein shakes.

Is that do people even do that anymore? A couple of salads? You're asking the wrong guy. What the heck do you eat? What are you eating? Well, I'm five, seven, 120 pounds.

So whatever I'm eating is not working in terms of gaining weight. I'll tell you that. Oh, well, damn. OK, well, I'm sure he's eating many a high protein diet. Uh, oh, damn. Well, how about this?

It's not that tough. Nico, is Google what the rock you seen what the rock eats on a day to day basis? No, I'm sure it's something insanely obscure, though. Obscure?

What do you mean? Like as in like it's a secret that you can find out what he's eating? 20 protein pancakes and he's eating, you know, chicken breast and putting protein powder on his eggs like the rock is just having 20 meals a day to look that big. That's what he says. I'm not going to disagree with him.

That's what he says. I thought you were going to say he's going like the raw egg route, like Rocky. There may be a raw egg or two, but he's eating pancakes and eggs and he's eating everything possible.

I mean, he's the opposite. So there's two ways of eating everything possible. You can eat everything and be the rock. Of course, the rock is only eating and exercising.

Of course, that's all he's doing. Or you could be Zion Williamson. We know Zion is just eating and he may not be doing the working out aspect. I think the rock is eating and working out. So if you do the eating, I think you'll be halfway there, Nico. Just a couple of extra pancakes in the morning.

The rock probably really has seven meals in a day. You got time for that? I wish.

No, I only usually eat two, maybe three if I'm lucky. Okay. Yeah. How much does the rock eat in a day?

Google is right now. That's what it is. How much the rock? I've seen it. Oh, my God. He eats 8000 calories in a day.

Impossible. 6000 to 8000 calories a day. He says on a daily basis, he eats anywhere from five to seven meals. Okay, high protein, high carb diet, 40% protein, 40% carbs, 15, 20% fats. His meals. You ready for this? Often include bison, eggs, rice, chicken and greens.

He's going in. You said bison? Yes, bison.

Yeah. Little bit leaner, leaner, leaner meat there. More protein. So for breakfast, he might have eggs and bison. He might have some oatmeal or brown rice for breakfast. And he'll have some fruit.

Okay. And then in some other meals, he may have some rice or sweet potatoes, then have some chicken, fish, steak, throw some greens in there. And then imagine just eating this every day, five to seven times a day.

You too, Aneko, can look like the rock. Well, I didn't even know that they like sold bison for you to eat. So that's that's a new one on my radar.

You can get you can get a bison burger. Yeah. You didn't know that? I did.

I was not aware of that. No. Yeah. We got a we got a grill here. Ted Turner, Ted's Montana Grill. You can get you can get bison. You get bison on.

Yeah, it's a burger. You get bison. Next time you come to Atlanta, let me know. I'll take you there. That sounds good. I got to give it a try.

And then once you once you have bison, you won't go back. You look like the rock or Zion, one of the one of the two. Hopefully the rock and not Zion. We'd hope get paid like both of them, though.

They make a lot of money. It's the J.R. Sportbree show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. Eight eight eight seven ten for ISN.
