That's right, this is CBS Sports Radio and you are locked in to the J.R. Sportbrief show. And I'm coming to you live from the Rocket Mortgage Studios. Whether you're looking to purchase a new home or refinance yours, Rocket Mortgage can help you get there. For home loan solutions that fit your life, Rocket can.

Alright folks, I'm gonna be hanging out here with you for two more hours. We started off the show talking about Aaron Judge versus Otani. Who the hell is the MVP? I think it's Aaron Judge. You want to talk about being most valuable to a team currently?

It would be Judge and it'd be to the Yankees because if he wasn't there, they would stink. If you missed a minute or a second, you can go ahead and hit rewind on the free Odyssey app. And thank you to everybody listening on the free Odyssey app. Thank you to everyone tuned in on your local CBS Sports Radio affiliate. All my friends listening on Sirius XM channel 158. And everybody listening on a smart speaker. Thank you to super producer and host Dave Shepherd.

We've had a busy show. We've talked Judge, Otani, Robert Sarver. We talked about Brett Favre and his receipt of funds that was to be used to the less fortunate in Mississippi. And Brett Favre goes, I know where the money came from.

I don't know anything about anything. And now there's some text messages that have come out, which pretty much say and context is important. Hey, if I get this money or if I get the money, you know, is the media going to find out? Why would you say such a thing?

Hmm. I think we'll find out sooner than later. And of course, it's time for something. Every Wednesday night into Thursday morning, I bring you a new top six list.

And what is the top six list for tonight? With all of the individuals who are behaving badly, primarily owners recently, tonight's top six list is going to highlight individuals who need to take a hike, who need to leave. They need to pack their bags and they need to go.

I'm pretty sure they have fancy bags, fancy Italian leather bags and and private jets and yachts. But the world of sports, they need to exit expeditiously. And so for tonight's top six list, I'm going to bring you a list of professional sports teams that need a new owner ASAP. And we have more than six teams. But for right now, this minute, this moment, these are the teams that are pretty much in a life support situation with their current ownership group. Is it trickling down to the franchise, to the fans, to the front office, to the players?

Every situation is unique and everyone is different. So let's not waste any time. It's time for a new top six list of teams that need a new owner. Let's go. It's time to get JR's latest top six list only on the JR Sport Brief.

That's right. It's the JR Sport Brief show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. Top six teams that need a new owner. Well, I could name more than six, but right now these guys take the cake. It's a countdown. We start at six and we move on down to one.

So let's get started. What's the number? Number six.

How about this man? I got him at number six because he's basically close to selling the team. Anyway, he's exploring a sale. He told us a couple of months ago, last month, that he was potentially ready to exit. And I think it's a good idea. How about it ties into Shohei Ohtani?

How about the man number six on the list? Teams that need a new owner. What the hell are they called? The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim? That was a joke the minute they were renamed. Artie Moreno, after trying to pretty much establish an entire real estate deal to really make more money surrounding the Angels, the minute that the public official who was going to help arrange it was pretty much found to be under investigation, Artie Moreno said, okay, I'm out.

I ain't dealing with this. And he told everyone publicly last month that, yes, I am exploring a sale of the team just after he was ready to do a full scale development. He purchased the squad in 2003 from Disney. The year after the Angels won the World Series in 2002, he renamed them the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He wanted to take advantage of Los Angeles and pretty much abandoned Anaheim. He's given away ridiculous contracts that haven't netted a damn thing. Albert Pujols, night and day from what he did with the cards versus what he did with the Angels. Mike Trout getting a lifetime deal to not even understand what the playoffs are. Josh Hamilton, Vernon Wells, Rendon goes from east to west.

He gets big money and I haven't even seen the guy play. And the Angels, they haven't been able to the playoffs since 2009. Artie Moreno, don't explore a sale, just sell. I mean, you even have superfans in Anaheim who are not happy about what Artie Moreno has done and they're ready for him to get rid of the team. CBS Los Angeles, last month, they spoke to superfan Rob Rome and he talked about the disrespect that Artie Moreno has showed towards the fans, the city, and the franchise since he bought them. Listen.

I'm actually pretty elated by it because I've felt for a long time that Artie Moreno's kind of disrespected Orange County because, you know, I'm a lifelong Orange County resident and by changing the name Los Angeles, that's why I'm wearing this Anaheim jersey. Yeah. Yeah, don't think about selling, man. Just do it.

Yeah, like Nike says. Top six teams that need a new owner, I got the Angels at six. What's the next number?

Number five. Oh, we're going to stay in California. Let's go from Anaheim. Let's go further north.

Let's go to Sacramento. Let's go ahead and take a look at the Kings because they are number five on the list. Vivek Ranadive has not even been around for 10 full years yet. He bought the squad in 2013 from the Malouse and damn it, if you remember when the Arco Arena was popping and you could thank the Malouse. Cowbells, Vlade Devoxx, White Chocolate, Chris Webber, that's the last time that this squad was worth a damn. The Kings haven't seen the playoffs since 2006 and Vivek Ranadive comes in and there are rumors about him, you know, let's play four and five basketball, you know, let's let's leave a defender underneath the basket and just cherry pick baskets.

He says that wasn't true. This man hires a head coach before he hires a general manager. And then there was the whole team draft fiasco where he really wanted Nick Stauskas over Alfred Payton.

And sure, Alfred Payton isn't no no game changer or world changer, but Nick Stauskas has pretty much proven to barely be an NBA player shuffling across Europe and the G League. I mean, last year he played eight games between I think the Celtics and the Heat like the And the poor fans in Sacramento are suffering. Vivek Ranadive has no idea what he's doing. I'm sure Vlade Devoxx went through the same thing, the whole year and a half.

no idea what he's doing. I'm sure Vlade Divac went through 12 packs a day dealing with this man. And so what does Vivek Ranadive know about basketball?

Well, he's originally from India, not a damn thing wrong with that. But for someone who's been a keen decision maker and someone who's tried to exert influence into basketball decisions, when he took over not too long in 2014, he was asked by HBO Sports, hey Vivek, what the hell do you know about basketball and when did you fall in love with it? When you were in India as a child, did you play basketball? No, I didn't know anything about basketball. How old were you when you first touched a basketball?

My late 40s. And now you own an American sports franchise, a team in the NBA. Do you find that a little odd? Well, like, you could say that. But I fell in love with the game. Yeah, man, you could love the game.

But that doesn't mean you need to butt in on all the business. You can have money in and from software and technology that doesn't qualify you to give your input on basketball decisions, learn to move out the way. Sacramento Kings need a new owner, top six teams that need a new owner. The Kings are at five. What's the next number?

Number four. Oh, let's stay in the NBA. This one isn't going to take long. The New York Knicks need a new owner in James Dolan, Jim Dolan, whatever the hell you want to call him. Man, it is a prayer to God that one day he leaves and he didn't purchase the team. His daddy basically gave it to him in the 90s from Viacom. His daddy gave him the Knicks.

Here's a toy. And so what has Jim Dolan been able to do? Start a band, screw up the New York Knicks, not be patient, bestow on guys ridiculous contracts that would saddle the Knicks forever, bring in players who would fall apart a la an Amari Stoudemire, forced trades that weren't necessary at the time in a Carmelo Anthony. And who the hell can forget his treatment of his own fan base? They chant fire Dolan and he kicks fans out of their arena.

He boosts the music to drown out the booze. And then it was only a few years ago in 2017 that Kristaps Porzingis, the Knicks star at the time, was at the free throw line when Knicks legend, one of the greatest players in their history, Charles Oakley, was escorted out of the arena behind the basket by security. The Knicks say that he was starting trouble. Charles Oakley says that they were being paranoid with him. The Knicks actually had charges pressed against this man, one of their own players, assault, multiple counts, criminal trespass.

This went on for about 4 or 5 years until the charges were dismissed. And so early this year, Charles Oakley, New York Knicks legend, he talked about the owner of the Knicks, Jim Dolan. He spoke to Tiki and Tierney and he talked about the relationship, the lack of a relationship and what the hell is wrong with Dolan. I wish I could get back into the garden, see the fans.

I really miss the fans. They showed me so much love, but it's just something wrong with the owner, you know? And I don't, I'm not the only one having a problem with it, just, he just, he just, I don't know.

It's just good things don't happen to people who keep doing stuff to other people and not in a good way. Man, even today, the Knicks, Dolan is still paranoid. There was no introductory press conference with the media for their star signing Jalen Brunson. The Knicks don't want him answering questions.

RJ Barrett this week introduced with his new extension, private event, no media. The New York Knicks operate in paranoia land and this is what happens when you're a brat who just got given a team by his daddy. It'd be nice if the Knicks got a new owner. The players love it. He spends a lot of money, but the fans, what are they getting from the Knicks?

Pain. Let's move on to the next number. Number three, top six teams that need a new owner. Imagine being so full of yourself that you can own the team, be the general manager and also at times be the defacto head coach.

Come on. That's Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, but here's the deal. He's never going to give it up.

He owned the squad since 89. He unceremoniously gave Tom Landry the boot, brought in Jimmy Johnson who helped win, gave him the boot because he needed to get some of the credit, brought in a pushover who won a championship with Jimmy Johnson squad and they haven't won a damn thing since Jerry Jones, as much as he needs to give up the Cowboys, he's an excellent businessman, but he needs to find someone to run the squad in that case. They need somebody new.

It's not going to happen, but it should be the case. And then this year he went cheapo on a roster on the depth, but then man, when it comes to his managerial decisions, he held on to Jason Garrett for too damn long and now he has Mike McCarthy as head coach and he doesn't even provide him with confidence that he can do well. I mean, how many times can he remind everybody that, yeah, Mike McCarthy is the coach right now, but oh yeah, I got options. Like Dan Quinn.

Do you remember this? You consider Dan a potential future head coach of the Dallas Cowboys? He's certainly qualified. He's very qualified. Yes.

I would consider if I didn't have a coach, I would have been interviewing him for coach. Yeah. It's a good problem to have in a good situation to have two in your building.

When you say that, make sure that, not that I said it, but that the facts are, nobody hard worked harder to keep Dan here than Mike. It was the plan. That's what we, that was the plan. And so pure and simple. And I've seen some people say, well, what was the rationale behind that?

The rationale behind that is, or not rationale, is that that was a highly competitive way. Okay. And I wanted them to be thinking about that they were talking to a guy that could be head coach of the Cowboys. Yeah.

Could be. What does Mike say when you do that? He's like, it's fine because I know internally I'm secure. But he, Mike knows that someday somebody will be coach of the Cowboys other than him. I mean, Dan, what does Jerry Jones run the, the hunger games of, of coaches? Like what is this? It's the bachelorette.

Well, just pick one. What is it? What is it? They get a Rose, right? Is that what happened? Yes. Yeah.

I don't think they give away roses. Jerry Jones gives away a pink slips unless you're, you're Jason Garrett. What a disaster. He ain't selling the team. We know that most valuable sports franchise on earth, but Dan, he needs to go Dallas Cowboys at number three, top six teams that need a new owner. What's next number two.

We talked about it last hour. I don't think Robert Sarver's going anywhere unless the Phoenix Suns players decide we ain't playing for him, but the sons need a new owner. You know, no one who's misogynistic, no one who wants to bully, no one who wants to use racist language, no one who just treats people like crap is deserving of a position of power. And so it's going to be up to the players in the NBA and people who have influence with their money to help make that decision.

The sons need a new owner. LeBron James thinks so. It appears that Chris Paul believes the same and Robert Sarver is the one who writes his checks.

And I guess this is something that Chris Paul is used to because he was also a clipper when Donald Sterling was shown the door. And so we have many instances of Robert Sarver being disgusting. How about Earl Watson? He was the alleged individual who told Robert Sarver, Hey, man, you can't be in a locker room using the N word. Well, how come Draymond Green can run up and down the court and say the N word? And our player can and then technical foul this and well, you can't say it coach or owner. And Earl Watson, he got fired three games into his second season. And there's going to come a point in time where Earl talks, but he's made it very clear that the environment around the Phoenix Suns was extremely toxic. He says before he got fired in 2017, before he got fired three games into the season, he told Yahoo that owner Robert Sarver gave him an ultimatum.

Take a listen to this. You brought up your situation. You were let go of, believe what, three games into the season last year.

Yeah. Third game in. But I knew two weeks before that I had a two week ultimatum or to either accept the ultimatum or eventually be let go. And I obviously chose to be let go ultimatum ultimatum. I'm not gonna get into the details, but I knew I had two weeks and for me, I couldn't do it.

It was more, it was bigger than basketball for me. Was this ultimatum? Who is this ultimatum by? Um, obviously the Suns by ownership.

Oh, well listen, Earl Watson is going to drop a bomb and I guess he's going to do it at an opportune time that helps get Sarver out of the situation. Robert Sarver, the Phoenix Suns, they're number two on my list, an organization that needs a new owner. It's the JR sport re show here with you on CBS sports radio. We're going to take a break and when we come back, I'm going to give you the franchise in North America that needs a new owner, the most number one on the other side of the break.

It is the JR Sport Brief show on CBS Sports Radio. Tonight, a new top six list. It's what I do Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

It's what I do to get you over the hump. And so I gave you a top six list of teams that need a new owner. I haven't completed the list because we're getting ready to pull up on numero uno. But before we get there, let me give you a quick recap on the teams that I mentioned so far. At number six, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Damn it, they need a new owner just because of that name. Can one day, can I just get back to calling them the Anaheim Angels? Can I call them the California Angels?

Do I have to associate them with Los Angeles? Marty Moreno is getting ready to give up the reigns anyway. The sooner the better. Maybe a new owner would stop giving away some of these ridiculous contracts for them not to go to the playoffs. Something that they've only done once since 2009. At number five, top six teams that need a new owner, I went to the Sacramento Kings. Vivek Ranadive bought this team in 2013 and yeah, he doesn't have anything to do with 2006, but that's the last time they went to the playoffs. This man will hire a coach before he hires a general manager, that actually took place.

He doesn't know a lick about basketball, something that he's admitted, but he's making or helping to influence and make personnel decisions. How's that worked out for the Kings? They need a time machine.

They really do. They need to go get Chris Webber. They just, they need a time machine where Vivek Ranadive doesn't purchase a squad.

You can call timeouts, you know. I'm sorry, Vivek? Well, your name is not Vivek. I'm sorry, chef.

C-Web knows how to call timeouts. He's been known to do that before. Yeah, well, we got to predate almost 20 years from Vivek purchasing the team. At number four, top six teams that need a new owner, we're staying in the NBA. It's the New York Knickerbockers. Dolan ain't bought a team. His daddy said, here, here's the New York Knicks. What has he done? Hand out terrible contracts, be impatient, hire Phil Jackson, say, hey, here's $72 million even though you've never run a team as a manager, as a GM, as a president.

And it's just disasters all over the damn place. Oh yeah. And then Charles Oakley, New York Knicks legend, he got walked out the building. New York Knicks filed charges, had charges pressed against this man, assault, criminal trespass, and then they had the nerve to put out a Twitter statement. He came to the game and he behaved inappropriately. He was abusive and, and we had him arrested.

He was a great Nick. We hope he gets help soon. Well, damn it, we can say the same thing about the Knicks owner.

He needs help. He needs to go and he needs to chill out with the rabbit ears. The New York Knicks would do so better with an owner who actually appreciates the team. Maybe Steve Cohen.

I hope he likes the Knicks. Maybe think he'd be good at number three, top six teams that need a new owner. Uh, it's the Cowboys.

It's not going to happen. Jerry Jones is going to be in that chair until there is no more Jerry Jones, but they can certainly use an owner who is smart enough to own the team and allow someone who understands football in and out to make the decisions good, bad, or in between. And Jerry Jones is just the worst. And number two, I gave you the man that's in the news. I gave you the team that's in the news.

It's the Phoenix Suns. Robert Sarver does not deserve to own an NBA franchise. And I'm pretty sure we haven't heard the worst. He's been fined $10 million.

He's been banned from the team for an entire year. But let's see if the sons speak up. Let's see if the players continue to speak out. Let's see if sponsors speak up. LeBron, Chris Paul have what's to come. I don't think we've heard the last of this situation. And so when it comes to top six teams that need a new owner that leaves us with nothing but this number right here.

Number one. We're going to stay on the East Coast. We're going to move to the mid-Atlantic region. We're going to arrive to the Capitol. We're going to take a look at an organization that has had what, I don't know, three names over the past 10 years.

We're going to look at an organization that is run by Daniel Snyder, someone who was also fined or slapped on the wrist $10 million and told to take a hike for a year. It's the Washington, what do they call? Oh, commanders. The commanders. Yeah. They were the Washington football team. And then they were another name that, oh yeah, by the way, Daniel Snyder said, we are never going to change the name.

You can put that in caps. And so what has taken place over the tenure of Daniel Snyder? The man has had the squad for the better part of 20 plus years now taking over in 1999. How about just sexual harassment claims by 40 plus women? How about cheerleaders feeling like they are a piece of meat on promotional trips?

What about suing elderly couples who can no longer afford their season tickets? I told you about the name change and, and just the, uh, the hardcore, we are never changing the name. Well, it took, unfortunately, a black man dying at the hands of a police officer before he changed the name. We all know about FedEx field. Have you been falling apart? Daniel Snyder is also a trash human being, and I know there are a lot of folks who wish he would let go of that team. Don't even get me started. The government, yes, the United States government for all the good and bad of it, they've been a part of the investigation as to why this man was fined $10 million and what type of workplaces he running. The NFL has staged an entire investigation as to what the hell is going on with the Washington football team commanders, whatever the hell they're called at this point. And then even in that regard, Daniel Snyder didn't even want to testify in Congress. Why?

What are you running from? He couldn't do it because he was overseas. He was, he was on his yacht. You want to know the deal? How about it seems like there's a new issue every few months. Earlier this year, there was a new allegation of sexual harassment against Daniel Snyder. Something that he refuted as false. This is on CNBC from back in February.

Take a listen to this. Now we're learning about new sexual harassment allegations made against the Washington commander's owner Dan Snyder. Former team employee Tiffany Johnston leveled the accusations at a hearing on Capitol Hill today. I learned how to discreetly remove a man's unwanted hand from my thigh at a crowded dinner table at a busy restaurant to avoid a scene. I also learned later that evening how to awkwardly laugh when Dan Snyder aggressively pushed me towards his limo with his hand on my lower back, encouraging me to ride with him to my car. The only reason Dan Snyder removed his hand from my back and stopped pushing me towards his limo was because his attorney intervened and said, Dan, Dan, this is a bad idea.

A very bad idea, Dan. In a statement today, Dan Snyder denied the new allegations, but he once again apologized for past misconduct that took place within his organization. The league fined Washington $10 million last year after it investigated the team's workplace culture. Come on. Well, that was one accusation, but he's apologizing for the others? Forty plus claims of others?

What a tippity iceberg? Dan Snyder, no, he sucks. If I have to think about an organization that deserves a new owner, it would be the Washington commanders. I think football team sounded better. It's the JR sport re-show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. The phone lines are open to you right now.

That's 855-212-4CBS. We talk about bad owners here and there on the JR sport re-show. But tonight, what teams, what team needs a new owner the most? I got Washington number one on the list. I don't think there's a franchise that would be clamoring, a fan base clamoring for a new owner than that guy.

He's an embarrassment. It's Washington number one. I'm going to take your phone calls on the other side. It's the JR sport re-show on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR sport brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR sport brief on CBS Sports Radio. Hello JR. My first time calling you and I find you to be an excellent guy to listen to so good luck. I hope you never lose this spot because really you're so bright and intelligent and you cover it all and I'm very happy to listen to you. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS.

It's the JR sport re-show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. I delivered to you a top six list. Write the list. It's about teams, professional sports franchises that need a new owner today. We can talk about bad owners. There are plenty but the teams that I named to you just pretty much take the cake.

If you missed a minute, if you missed a second, you can go ahead and hit rewind on the free Odyssey app. Here's a very quick recap without full explanation. If you're a die hard sports fan, you probably understand the reasonings. At number six I gave you the Angels. At number five I gave you the Sacramento Kings. At number four I gave you the New York Knicks. At number three I gave you the Dallas Cowboys. Number two I gave you the Phoenix Suns. And at number one, the team that needs a new owner the most, I delivered to you the Washington Commanders. Football team was a better name but here we are.

They are the commanders. We might as well get used to it. Dumbass name. Yeah, Daniel Snyder is just, he's the pits is another way to say it. 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS, that's 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS. I'm prepared for this to be a venting session for many a teams that probably don't even need a new owner.

But having said that, if you can't call up, you can tweet me at JRSportBrief. I'm looking at Corey The Plagiarist. He mentions the New York Jets. Oh yes, Woody Johnson. The Band-Aid Man. Yeah, the Band-Aid Man, the family. Family heir of Johnson & Johnson owns the New York Jets if you were not aware.

And the Band-Aid Man, he spent about two years or maybe more as an ambassador to the United Kingdom in the Trump administration. And even before that, what have the Jets done? Do the New York Jets know what the playoffs are? Like the family knows how to sell Band-Aids and gauze and first aid kits. They don't know how to run a football team.

Oh, yeah, New York Jets, they need a new owner, but man, is he going to get rid of it. You can at me at JRSportBrief. You can call me 855-212-4CBS. Will is calling from North Carolina. You're on the JRSportBrief show. Hey, this is Will.

Yeah, I just said that. You're live. Go ahead. Thanks for having me. I love your show. Thanks. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you. Dan Snyder, he's the three and needs to go to his Michael Jordan. And number one is David Tepper.

He just got there. Yeah, he's uh, he's not doing his thing. And I wish he were gone. He's the problem, not rule, not any of his coordinators. David Tepper is our problem. Okay. Well, he hasn't even been full owner for, I'd say, three full years at this point, maybe four. So what has David Tepper done wrong with his initial hirings? I'm not going to consider myself an expert.

It's just the way that he, he carries everything through. Okay. All right. No, it's okay. Well, I understand. Well, uh, maybe in the next four years, the Panthers can have success after Matt ruled is gone and Baker Mayfield is gone and David Tepper just got to the party. I mean, I, I believe there are worse.

I'm almost certain there are worse. Hmm. Matt is calling from San Diego. You're on the JR sport brief show on CBS sports radio. What team deserves new ownership of the most? Well, let me tell you the chargers, Dean Spanos, those, those people, Spanos, those are a bunch of idiots. Um, you know, I want to, I want to ask you how frustrating is it when 12 guys have asked you how you're doing in 13 and 14 or 15 still have to ask you how you're doing it. Doesn't that frustrate the hell out of you? No, because it's no, no, it's, it's what I do, man.

I talk to people for a living. It's it's to be expected. Is it necessary? No, it's no, no, it's, it's not necessary, but it's a part of human interaction. Most people talk to someone for the first time and you know, you asked them how they're doing, right?

Yeah, I guess, but it just, it just seems like they would get it, you know, after the 12th guy, he must be doing fine, I'll ask him something else. Let me, let me, let me put it to you this way. How many times, and this is a, and now you're moving me into larger societal issues. How many times have you gotten into an elevator or walked by someone or shared a common space where people don't act like you exist and you have to go, where in the hell are we? Where it's not even common courtesy just to say something as simple as hello.

Oh yeah. I'm a loudmouth when I get in stuff like that. I just, I just break into conversation.

I don't care who it is. I just, so, but that's, that's the same premise. You know, people want to come on as much as I am fine and I tell everyone I'm fine. I have to remember it's, it's just common courtesy, so I'm not that upset, but go ahead. Okay.

I just want to check and make sure. Thank you. All right.

Well, hold on, Matt. I appreciate you thinking about my wellbeing. Most people don't give a damn, so thank you. Sure. Go ahead. Okay. Yeah. And you know, it seems like some of your callers really don't have any idea what they're doing. Do you realize that too? Does that, does that, I mean, are you going to join the list?

Well, I don't know. I may not know a lot of things, but some of them, boy, it seemed like they know less than I do. And they're just calling in and I don't even think they know what they want to have. It's starting to seem that way, Matt. Who and what team do you believe needs a new owner the most?

Go ahead. Uh, well, like I said, I think the Chargers and Spanish is they just, they don't know how to, and, and, and really Jerry Jones, I mean, you can't be the owner, the general manager and the coach, you just can't do that. He, he's a complete idiot to begin with too. So I cannot stand him and he felt arrogant. He's just, this arrogance just emanates from him.

Yeah. And I don't think there's ever been a decision that he has found to be, uh, incorrect or that he will admit to as much. But thank you, Matt, for calling from San Diego, a beautiful place. I love San Diego and Matt is an authority on idiots. Thank you, Matt.

I appreciate you. Ken is calling from here in Atlanta. You're on CBS Sports Radio.

What professional sports franchise needs a new owner the most? Hey, JR, good morning, how you doing my brother? Very well. Good, man. Um, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned, uh, the Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Gray.

What? And the reason I'm going to mention Arthur is this, JR, I don't know if you've ever heard of Rich McCabe, but he's been here. Yes, he was the president. I'm familiar. Yes.

The president of operations or what have you. I've met the man. I know who he is.

Go ahead. Oh, okay. But basically he is Arthur's fall guy. He is Arthur's right hand man.

He he's an author's ear at all the drafts. He pretty much makes all the decisions, even though he's got a GM and front note, but he just hold the title as a GM because front note, he's, he's not making any calls at flowery branch and that's, that's rich McKay. And to me, you've got to get rid of the head of the snake. Arthur won't do it, which McKay is the head of the snake.

Get rid of him. I think he'll have a better organization as far as hiring better people to do their jobs. Rich McKay is the problem for this franchise and as long as Arthur have them, they're making decisions, sell the damn team, do us all a favor in ATL, sell the damn team because what happened last Sunday is a Michael cousin of what happens every year with this franchise, man.

Yes. Well, this is ridiculous. I agree with you. Things are not looking all that bright for Arthur Smith.

I don't know if he has the, uh, the, uh, what is the word, the personality, uh, to deal with the team as it kind of goes through this rebuilding process. But this is something that, that we all know. And thank you, Ken, for calling up from right here, uh, in Atlanta, listen, Arthur blank, all things considered, if I have to look at every owner of every franchise in the NFL, Arthur blank is nowhere near the top of the list when it comes down to owners who need to get the boot. It was only a few years ago. And yes, I know the end result that the Falcons were in the super bowl. We know what happened, but they were winning.

They were successful and then they fell apart. Okay. Let's not act like Arthur blank is trash. There are a lot of teams that would love to have him. I'm going to take more of your calls on the other side. Top owner, what franchise needs one more of your calls here, CBS sports radio.
