And I'll just leave you hanging with that for a moment. With me is my dear friend Brian Johnson from down in Aiken, South Carolina. Brian, welcome back to Q&A with Kolov. Oh, thank you so much, Nikita. What an honor it is to speak with you anytime. I just so enjoy your show and your platform and your ministry. And we're just so excited to talk to you today. Well, and it's always great to have you apart. Of course, you've been on the Man Up show in the past and just sharing some of your story and stories, we might say. And of course, you know, we've known each other for some time now.

You've been big supporters of Kolov for Christ Ministries, donors, big donors to Kolov for Christ Ministries. In fact, the vehicle I currently drive was a blessing thanks to you of what I get to tool around in. And as I go around the nation, churches and autograph signings and everything I do. And in fact, you sold the car to my daughter, Colby, to my daughter, Kendra. And Lex Luger sent one of his buddies down to Aiken, South Carolina to Crescent Automotive to get a car from you. And you've been in the car business for a long, long time.

I have, Nikita, about 40 years now. And I'm still a young man for the record, 42 years to be exact. Yeah, you were like four or something like that when you started selling cars. Not much more than four, but you know, old enough to drive. Let's put it like that. Old enough to drive.

All right. And what's special about Crescent Automotive, Brian, because I know for a fact people come flying, drive in, come from all over the country just to get a car from Crescent Automotive. What makes it so special?

Why have people like even bought like five, six, seven cars from you over the years? Well, Nikita, we hope it's because we do the things maybe that other people don't do to make it a better experience, because we treat people like we want to be treated ourselves and because we have a marketplace ministry. We feel like we can represent Christ in our marketplace and our job every day and not just on Sundays at church.

We feel like that it should be a seven day a week thing. And we try to transpose that into our entire business model. And I hope that's why people continue to come back. We are very blessed. About 35 percent of our business is referral and repeat business.

Yeah. And I know, you know, I've been to your store there many, many times there in Aiken. And of course, I met, you know, a handful of your customers and we have some great stories there. You know, one time you brought me in for book signings. We had Magnum T.A. in there one time, didn't we, too, for a book signing? We had Magnum T.A., best of seven right there in the dealership.

Best of seven at the dealership. And so, of course, your employees have done some little mini Bible, little Bible studies, right, for your employees. You have times of prayer.

So you really do. When you say you honor the Lord in your business, that's just not tongue in cheek or, you know, you really do that. And I believe part of the reason in turn God has just really blessed your business is because you really honor him, as you say, in the marketplace. Well, you can't outgive God, Nikita. And, you know, it's something we've got to be at work every day. We've got to go. We've got to be there. We've got to earn a living.

And so why not honor the kingdom at the same time? And that's our goal. Sometimes we come up a little short, but I promise you our hearts are in the right place. And that's what we try to do. Yeah. And if people want to learn more about Crescent, it's drivecrescent.com.

Is that the website? Drivecrescent.com. Because everybody should drive a Crescent, right? Everybody drives Crescent and you should too. And you do. And I do. And I do.

And several of my family does. That's awesome. So, well, speaking of, you know, living it seven days a week, something just recently happened. Something major has happened at your church there in Johnston, South Carolina. You have a new pastor from Romania. You want to take a minute, introduce him and let him say a couple of words?

I will. And I'll just say this. When we went with a global Methodist denomination, they were lining our needs up, our wants up, what God wanted us to be with a pastor. And they called me one day and said, we got you the perfect pastor. I said, that's great.

I've never met one of those. I'm excited about that, the perfect pastor. And he said, but I need you to step out of the box a little bit. And I said, okay, no problem. I'll step out of the box.

I'm a step out of the box kind of guy. And he began describing him to me with his credentials and he had started two orphanages and he was over this different ministry and his wife had a doctorate and Old Testament and he had two beautiful children. I said, man, you have found me the perfect pastor.

I said, what's stepping out of the box? He said, well, he's in Romania. I said, well, that's okay.

Missionaries are all around the world. And I said, we'll get him on a plane and we'll get him home. We'll get him out of Romania. And he said, I don't think you heard the rest of the story. He's Romanian.

He's from Romania. Absolutely. So that was our step out of the box a little bit. And after a little bit of persuasion and pitching to our church and God's hand upon it, we began a what would become a little over four-month journey that was projected to be four, five, six weeks at max. But through our loving immigration system and trying to do things the right way, we ended that journey recently after four months. And we were just ecstatic to have him and his family here.

There's a large migrant presence in our community and he's got a heart for missions. And we just know that he's going to take and grow God's kingdom in Johnston, South Carolina, the peach capital of the world. The peach capital of the world.

For those who don't know, the peach capital of the world, Johnston, South Carolina. And he's with you, right? He's sitting there with you?

He is. I'll introduce him now. Come on. Greetings. Hey, Pastor.

Yes. Pastor, welcome to America. I'm so happy to be here again. I was visiting U.S. a couple of times and I'm happy that I'm now coming to serve God's kingdom here. Well, that's amazing. And I look forward to meeting you in person one day. I come down that way fairly often and, you know, we'll have to break some bread, have some lunch together sometime here sooner than later. And so you, you're excited about pastoring in America now?

Yes, I'm excited because, you know, it was not planned. It was just a time with God when we asked God about what's next. I really believe that as Christian, we have to understand that we don't own the gifts of God. The gifts of God are owning us. So when God is naming us, I don't know, an evangelist or a pastor, it's for the purpose of others. It's for the purpose to be a gift that is given to the community.

So we don't own that gift. We need to be responsible with that gift because it's God's calling and it's His calling and we have to be His servants in His call. So when God said, go there, I said, OK, God, this is the time I'm listening because I used to be around the world preaching the gospel in other countries. I was a missionary in the Middle East together with my wife.

And also I've been preaching on the streets of England even. And we had a great ministry in Romania where we started to work with orphans, with children that are from the streets. And in the last year, the biggest work was with the Ukrainian refugees. And we did one of the biggest outreach to the refugees that the churches could do. We reached out to many, many refugees to network. So I came out from two years that I really was, I would say, on the front lines, you know, in ministry.

It was beautiful. And we had a great resource, but also it was really, you know, tiring. Yeah, a bit challenging. Yeah, challenging, tiring with all this instability in the region with the Ukrainian war. And we are neighboring Ukraine, for those who don't know where Romania is exactly.

We have the biggest border with Ukraine, actually from the house I was living in. You just have to go for four hours more than you are in the war zone. Wow.

So it's really close to home. Well, we're going to have you, Pastor, I want to have you on my other show, The Man Up Show, and we'll dedicate an entire show for you and have you share just more of your story and even maybe some more details of some of these stories. Would you be willing to do that? Everything that God wants me to say for his glory, I will do it. Awesome. I'm not shy about God's things. Well, that's phenomenal. Well, and I just, before we bring Brian back on, you know, I was just making some notes of what you were saying. I'm like, man, that's good stuff.

Follow God's plan. I wrote down for the purpose of others, his calling, be his servant, and God bless you for being on the front lines, Pastor Christian. I appreciate it. Thank you. Yeah, it's an honor to be here, and it's a joy to be in your show. Well, I look forward to hearing more of the story, and more importantly, I look forward to meeting you in person, sir.

Yes. All right. I wait for that moment. All right. We'll look forward to it.

Well, thank you. And Pastor Christian down there at the South Carolina Johnston Methodist Church, all the way from Romania to America, now getting ready to cast a new vision here in America. Well, Nikita, I've got to be honest, I was a little jealous of you. See, you've gone international. Yes. Your show is in how many countries is your show? Over a hundred now.

Over a hundred countries. So I had to just go get me a little international here myself. I hear you. We are head over heels excited about him being here, we really are. You could dedicate a whole show to just the journey and some of the trials and tribulations that we went through trying to do things the right way to bring him into this country.

And I won't get political with you or anything like that. I know. I snapped my fingers and had him here in five days on what's called a Disneyland pass, you know, when he could have stayed five years, but because we wanted to do it the right way, it was a four-month process. It was a challenge. And I told him, if you didn't hear, I do want to bring him back on, I want to have maybe you and him on the man up show. And we talked about some of that journey of getting him here, but then let him share some of, some of his stories from, you know, from the Middle East and other places he's been.

And then what he envisions for his time here in America, if that sounds good. So yes. All right. Well, it is Q and A with Kolov. So I, you know, let's, let's, let's segue to a couple of questions you might have for me and, uh, no idea what you want to ask, but, uh, let's roll out that first question, Brian. Nikita, this is just right off the hip here, but a couple, a week or so ago, I sent you a picture of a Columbia, South Carolina Township auditorium. I was standing on the doorsteps, staying in the hotel across the street where I was displaced from the hurricane, and I sent you that picture to give you a little reminder. So my question is going to be, what was your best memory of the township auditorium? Columbia Township auditorium, man, no, no, actually, you know what, no, you did not olive oil, olive oil. You ready? You ready for the rest of the story?

I'm ready. So anyone who knows anything about the cartoon world, olive oil would have been from, from which cartoon? Popeye.

Popeye. So, um, the, the media story that comes to mind was when Lex Luger, my dear friend, Lex first came into the NWA, what was known as the NWA at the time before it became WCW. Um, it was like one of the very first matches there. Well, there was a gal and an elderly gal. Like they said, like, like she, she had the same seat there in the township auditorium every week. I think we ran Tuesday nights back then from what I remember, Monday night was bell auditorium in Augusta and Tuesday night was township, township auditorium and, and, and she had had, they said like 50 years or something that she had been a fan of wrestling and had that same seat front row every time. Well, she also had a cane by this time and, and she did not like the bad guys.

Imagine that she did not like the bad guys. So I don't even know who Lex was wrestling, but guys kind of whispered around and said, Hey, whoever it was, they were going to toss him out of the ring, out in front of olive oil, knowing what she would probably do is whack him with her cane. Okay. And, uh, so sure enough, we're all peeking through the curtains, you know, up there on the stage.

I'm sure you remember that, you know, that that's what we would watch the matches for. Right. I'll peek through the curtains up there on the stage.

Yeah. Just roll the curtain back and, and, uh, sure enough, come time, they throw them out and, and he jumps up and he's looking up into the ring and all of a sudden, wham. I mean, she nails, nails it with this cane. Of course he spins around like ready to throw a fist, you know, and, and, and sees, and I see olive oil.

I mean, she wasn't any bigger than, than that character on Popeye. How about the name, right? It, hence the name and man, he spins around and ready to, you know, throw this, you know, lunging pun and sees, you know, it's a fragile old woman and of course he doesn't do it, but, and of course we were roaring in the background, you know, all of us look so much like Popeye with that muscles and body here, exactly, exactly. And uh, so we all knew what was going to get to go come down. He didn't know what was going down, but, uh, anyway, so we all got a good sticker out of that, but, uh, so that's one that, that was the very first story that kind of popped in, in my head.

There's, there's, there are many others down there from wrestling Ric Flair for the world heavyweight title to many others, but that, that was, uh, that was the one that popped in my head first and say, hopefully our fans, our listeners just got a little bit of visual of that. So great story. Great story. Great, great, great memory.

Like for real, for me, maybe not for Lex, but for me, yeah. So all right. What else?

Yeah. I'm going to hit you with one more. And I wonder if anybody's ever asked you this because I try to ask you questions out of the box when I see you that, that I haven't heard before, but I know you were 16, you know, uh, six man world champion several times and tag team champion, US champion. But if you could pick any one of your era to be a tag team partner with you that you never partnered with, who would that be? And have you ever been asked that before? I I've, I've not, I've been, I've been asked who I would, you know, would have wrestled that I maybe didn't.

Right. You know, all the time, but who would fit your style of wrestling, uh, you know, like uncle Ivan fit so well, who would be your pick from that genre? I know you tagged with Dusty some and, and, and I did, but, uh, what did you not tag with that would be a good fit?

I want to tell you what would have, so, so there was a tag team known as the mega powers. Let me test your, let me test your memory. Do you know who, do you know who the mega powers were? I don't. Okay. I thought I knew a lot.

So much old man, Randy Savage, oh yeah. Jump into a slim gym and, and, and, and brother, uh, the whole, okay. Yeah. Okay. They, they, they formed the mega powers.

Okay. Of course, Dusty and I formed the super powers mac and green death, the road, the tower of power, sweet to be sour, if you will. And you know, I wonder what would have happened. You know, the magazines really touted the, you know, Nikita pitted against Hulk Hogan and what a WrestleMania that would have made. But I wonder what would have happened if Nikita and Hulk Hogan partnered together and formed especially at the USA and the Russia joining forces, like you and Dusty, Cold War of Time. That'd been great. You think, right? I mean, Hey, that might've done some business.

I mean, we might've sold out a few buildings had, had, uh, Hulkamania and the Russian nightmare, you know, teamed up and, and formed a coalition, if you will. So anyway, that's a, that was a great question that nobody has ever asked me that one. So great job, Brian. Well, I, uh, I strive to be different for you, Nick. Well, you've done well and, uh, Hey, we'll, uh, stay tuned cause, uh, pay attention to the man up show. Cause we're going to have pastor Christian from outside of Bucharest, Romania, just share some of his stories, um, uh, about his travels around the world, uh, as a missionary and, and pastor, and now pastoring in Johnston, South Carolina, Johnston Methodist Church there in, in, uh, in Johnston and Brian and Jamie Johnson, Crescent Automotive, uh, check them out, drivecrescent.com.

Uh, I assure you, you, you will not deal with a, a better, uh, dealership than you will with Crescent Automotive. Brian. Thank you.

Please. Thank Ms. Jamie, uh, for being with us, uh, today as well on the other show. Thank you. It's such an honor again. Thank you for all you do and your ministry and your platform and your love for Jesus and your love for people. And we love you, Nikita. Well, I love you guys.
