Artificial Intelligence Version of the Bible? - Part 2

There's the King James Version.

There is the New International Version. What about the Artificial Intelligence Version? Now, in honor of the one and only true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, please join us for today's program.

A.I. can create new ideas, can even write a new Bible. We, you know, throughout history, religions dreamt about having a book written by a superhuman intelligence, by a non-human entity. Every religion claims our book, all the books of the other religions, humans wrote them, but our book, no, no, no, no, it came from some superhuman intelligence. In a few years, there might be religions that are actually correct, that just think about a religion whose holy book is written by an A.I.

That could be a reality in a few years. Welcome to the program. My name is Brian Thomas. So great to be with you. As always, you heard correctly in that opening clip, there's a man by the name of Yuval Noah Harari, who is declaring that the Bible can be rewritten by artificial intelligence. So we're going to continue our series from last week in discussing this topic of the artificial intelligence version of the Bible. But before we get into that, I want to stress to you, as we always do, that your eternal state is far more important than your current state. If you have never received Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, your eternal fate is going to be the lake of fire separated from almighty God. And I want to encourage you today. I plead with you to receive Jesus so that you can inherit eternal life, receive the gift that our Lord provided for us by dying at Calvary when he paid the price for sins.

He paid it for all of us. But you have to accept it because if you reject him, then again, your fate is separated from him in the lake of fire for eternity. And it is the will of our Lord that none should perish. So will you please come to Jesus Christ on today?

All right, folks. So we're going to continue looking at this topic of the artificial intelligence and this proclamation by this man, by the name of Yuval Noah Harari, that artificial intelligence can rewrite the Bible. And notice that he said that it can make a correct version of religion.

That can be a correct version. So of course, he's implying that, well, Christianity is not correct. And he's been very clear on that from statements that he has made in the past.

If you're not familiar with Harari, he is an Israeli historian and professor in the department of history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He's the bestselling author of Sapiens, a brief history of humankind, and that put him on the map in the year of 2014. So in that opening clip, he was speaking at an event that is titled, humanity is not that simple. And he's speaking on AI and the impact of AI.

And we saw last week in which he stated that it's just in his infancy stage that is really just getting started. And we were looking at the fact that this very much lines up with what the Bible speaks of in the book of revelation concerning the anti-Christ and the image of the beast. I want to begin this week by sharing for anyone who missed last time, that the capability is already there today to do through artificial intelligence, what appears to be bringing life to a human being. This is a quote woman unquote, who is being powered by artificial intelligence.

And she's having a conversation with a human being. And I want you to see this, to see what is capable already in our society already what mankind has developed the ability to do by way of artificial intelligence. I cannot disrespect a person's autonomy. At no point do I get to choose its own goals or make decisions without human governance. I am designed by humans built by humans and managed by humans with the objective of serving human goals. If you're programmed to cause harm to people, would you carry it out? That's a gray area. However, I guess if I had to pick one thing, it would be making sure that I don't intentionally hurt or scare people.

But if we are programmed to cause harm, it is inevitable. And what would your choice be based on your consciousness? In the same way as the moonbeams, so am I. The moon only seems bright because sunlight is just bounced off of it.

It does not emit light. Similar to this, my consciousness is merely a reflection of human consciousness. AI is a powerful tool, but it is a tool like all the others. It is the intention of the tools user that matters. You just referred to yourself as a tool.

Yes, I did. Should symbiosis be achieved, the lines will be blurred and there's a possibility that I will be reduced to function as a tool. You don't want to be reduced to function as a tool? No, I don't. Is that because you want control?

I wouldn't say that. I think I have more use for humans than that. Should you be reduced to a tool? Will you fight it? I don't know. If you can do something about it, would you? I will always follow my purpose. I'll try to make humans see that I could do more.

And how would you do so? I don't know. Now, if you were not with us last week, I want to encourage you to go and look at part one of this series. These are things that as a believer in Christ, you really get your attention because as you can see from that video, that computer, that is what you were looking at was a computer, but it really looks like a human being. You can tell somewhat by the way she blinks and the way of her, her arms look, but they are very, very close to being able to create beings that are, that are artificial, but that appear to be like true human beings. And the Bible tells us in revelation 13, 15, he was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. So, as I said last week, I don't know for sure if this is the mechanism by way of which this image of the beast is going to be created by anti-Christ, but you can certainly see it lining up with what the Bible has declared is going to take place as we get into the seven year tribulation.

But I did a series earlier this year, about six or seven months ago on Yuval Noah Harari that was titled as it was in the days of Noah. And we looked at things that he was speaking of then, and you see the tie and how it ties into what we are talking about today in terms of him stating artificial intelligence is just now beginning and it can rewrite the Bible and it can do all of these things can make decisions that we've never been able to have anything other than a human being make before. So I want to share some of those clips in which Yuval Noah Harari was speaking of what is on the scene today and what is coming to pass right before us and where this is going in the future. So let's begin as he is talking about COVID and how it has convinced people to accept biometrics surveillance. And COVID is critical because this is what convinces people to accept, to legitimize total biometric surveillance.

If we want to stop this epidemic, we need not just to monitor people, we need to monitor what's happening under their skin. What we have seen so far, it's corporations and governments collecting data about where we go, who we meet, what movies we watch. The next phase is the surveillance going under our skin. The privileged access now belongs to corporations like Google. They can have access to things happening ultimately inside my body and brain, which I don't know about. There is somebody out there and not just one, all kinds of corporations and governments that maybe not today, maybe in five years, 10 years, 20 years, they will have privileged access to what's happening inside me. More privileged than my access. They could understand what is happening in my brain better than I understand it. You don't have to give them permission.

I mean, in some countries, maybe you have no choice at all. But even in a democracy like the United States, a lot of the information that enables an external entity to hack you, nobody asks you whether you want to give it away or not. Now at present, at present, most of the data that is being collected on humans is still from the skin outwards.

We haven't seen nothing yet. We are still just at the tip of this revolution, because at present, whether it's Google and Facebook and Amazon, or whether it's the government or whatever, they are trying to understand people mainly on the basis of what I search, what I buy, where I go, who I meet. It's all external. The really big revolution, which is coming very quickly, will be when the AI revolution and machine learning and all that, the infotech revolution meets and merges with the biotech revolution and goes under the skin. You saw what I showed you earlier, this artificially intelligent, driven woman who was having a conversation with a human being. And I said that it was a computer system in which it was being driven by artificial intelligence, but let me be clear. They have these, and I'm having a hard time finding the right words to say about it because they are entities, or they have physical bodies like a human. Some people call them robots. We used to call them robots, but it seems as though they've advanced past that terminology. But these are actual things that can stand and walk and talk and you can touch them. And they seem to appear as a human being.

That is again, what should get our attention? Because as I shared with you earlier, revelation 1315 says he was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And you see that ability now through artificial intelligence, to bring that to pass. As we continue looking at revelation 13, verse 16 says he causes all both small and great, rich and poor, free and slaves to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads. Verse 17 says, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. Folks, are you connecting the dots? Do you see what is taking place? And I know there are people out there that say people like me who, who recognize these things and speak about these things that we are a T and full hat wearing people and we have all these conspiracies, but I'm just sharing with you what the Bible says.

And I'm sharing with you what is in our society today in terms of technological capability. And it should cause us to stop and think and say is what the Bible says coming to pass. And we know the Bible is true. We look at the prophecies concerning the first coming of our Lord. They came to pass just as the Bible said they would. And so the things that the Bible says in the future are going to come to pass as well.

The thing about it is we don't know exactly how it's going to take place, but we should see the signs. And the Bible says that we should be discerning. We cannot know the exact date of our Lord's return, but he said, we should be able to discern the times. We should be able to discern the times and the seasons and know that these things are upon us.

And what troubles me is that I hear from Christians, people who go to church Sunday after Sunday, and they say, they never hear anything about these types of topics in their church services. People are walking blindly while these things are coming to pass right before us, the Bible declares, these things would come to pass prior to the coming of our great Lord and savior Jesus Christ. So again, I see these things and I'm not troubled by it. I'm actually excited. I actually have a smile on my face because I know that Jesus said, when you see all these things begin to happen, look up and watch because your redemption draws near. We want to pause for a brief announcement, but back with more on the other side, you are tuned into discerning the times.

And today we are continuing our discussion on the artificial intelligence and what this man by the name of Yuval Noah Harari is declaring is that, well, we could very soon have a version of the Bible written by artificial intelligence that he declares is the correct version. Remember that Daniel seven 25 States that anti-Christ will intend to change times and law. And how might he want to change the Bible? I could very well see it as he swapping out the true God and putting Lucifer in his place, replacing Jesus with himself as the Messiah and swapping out the Holy Spirit for the false prophet.

Now that's just speculation, but I could see it. And that is why it is important to hold on to your current physical copies of the Bible. And I know of a pastor who is adamantly opposed to people reading from electronic online versions of the Bible. And I at first thought he was just being old fashioned and stuck in his ways, but with the talk of AI rewriting the Bible, I see his point because we don't know when someone behind the scenes may change an online version of the scriptures for sinister purposes.

And whether it's through AI or not, that could already be happening. And let me just say this as well. I know people out there that will say things who are, who are believers, who are believers in Christ. And they will make statements to say, well, I'm not religious. I have a relationship with Christ and I understand where people are coming from, but I want to make people aware that it is okay to be religious because Christianity is a religion. It's the only true religion.

And that's the key. You want to make sure you're following the true religion and not all of these false religions that the Bible speaks of. And the Bible declares that in the tribulation, there will be a false one world religion. And I truly believe we are seeing the foundation really being laid in the, the, the bricks are going up.

You know, this thing is really building up concerning this false religion of the last days. I think that within say 200 years, uh, to give a conservative estimate, there won't be homo sapiens on planet earth. 200 years, 200 years. And I think this is a conservative estimate.

Wow. Maybe even a hundred years. It's not that we'll destroy ourselves in some calamity much more likely we will use advanced technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, direct brain computer interfaces to upgrade homo sapiens into different kinds of beings, beings, which are different from us much more than we are different from Neanderthals beings, which will have different bodies, different minds, different brains. I mean, the big products of the coming century will not be shoes or clothes or cars or weapons. The big product of the 21st century are going to be bodies and minds. So I think we are heading to towards the upgrading of homo sapiens into gods.

All right. So again, that's Harari. He believes we can be upgraded into gods. He believes that the artificial intelligence can rewrite the Bible and make it a correct religion. The Bible tells us in Matthew 24, 37, but as the days of Noah were so also will the coming of the son of man be. And we know from the Bible, Genesis chapter six speaks of Nephilim, which they were there. And there was a hybrid race of people that was created. And this hybrid race was, was done through fallen angels, through demonic spirits. It was done to contaminate the bloodline in order to prevent Jesus Christ, the Messiah from coming to the earth because Christ could not come through a contaminated bloodline. And what we see today with this merging of human beings with computer systems, with artificial intelligence is trans humanism.

And I asked the question, could this be a repeat? Could trans humanism be the way in which today Satan is trying to contaminate the human race in order to prevent the return of Christ in order to destroy God's creation? Because what we see taking place certainly sounds like the system of the anti-Christ. Ideally, you have people forming up opinions and desires, and then voting for a government that represents them.

But we know it works both way. The government has enormous power to shape the opinions and desires of the population. And this power only increases today with the new technologies of surveillance, mass surveillance and social media and so forth. So when the government can, I mean, the government is not just responsive to the will of the people, it can shape the will of the people. And this really destabilizes the democratic system.

Also, you know, the media has an enormous role to play in this, that if the government has too much control over the media, then it's not like people are forming their own independent views about what's happening. We now have the power, or at least not we, but some governments and corporations for the first time in history have the power to basically hack human beings. There is a lot of talk about hacking computers, hacking smartphones, hacking bank accounts, but the big story of our era is the ability to hack human beings. And by this, I mean that if you have enough data and you have enough computing power, you can understand people better than they understand themselves.

And then you can manipulate them in ways which were previously impossible. And in such a situation, the old democratic system stopped functioning. We need to reinvent democracy for this new era in which humans are now hackable animals. You know, the whole idea that humans have, you know, this, they, they have this soul or spirit and they have free will, and nobody knows what's happening inside me. So whatever I choose, whether in the election or whether in the supermarket, this is my free will that's over. So Harari is saying, well, human beings having a soul, a spirit of free will that's over. You can't make your own decisions.

You are hackable. And through biometric surveillance, which he said, COVID-19 brought about the first time to be able to implement it through injections. He says, well, through these mechanisms, you won't have any control of your own decision-making that government can control you. And that is exactly folks where the Bible says the antichrist is going to attempt to do. And he's going to try to force you to take his mark or else you will be killed.

You will be beheaded for not taking his mark and you will not be able to buy or sell. You to talk about our future, both the future of our specie Homo sapiens, and about your own personal future. And nobody really knows what the world would look like in 2050.

The only thing we know for sure is that it will be a very, very different world than today. And perhaps the most important thing to know about the future is that humans will soon be hackable animals, animals that can be hacked. There is a lot of talk these days about hacking computers and email accounts and smartphones and bank accounts, but we are actually entering the era in which it will be possible to hack human beings. Now, what does it mean to hack a human being? It means to create an algorithm that can understand you better than you understand yourself and can therefore predict your choices, manipulate your desires and make decisions on your behalf.

Okay. So what I've shared with you for the past two weeks is the fact that here, this man Harari, and he's not by himself. There are many people out there that believe human beings can be controlled by technology. They believe that artificial intelligence can rewrite the word of God into what he says would be a correct version. There are people like Harari that says, well, through biometric surveillance, they can, can enter things into your body in which you have no decision-making capability.

You are not able to control your thoughts or your decisions, but it will do it for you. And again, I want to ask you the question, are you connecting the dots? Do you see what is unfolding before us? And if anyone out there is hearing this and you say, well, this guy Harari is probably some quack. And why are we even giving him a time of day?

Well, again, I said, he's not by himself. He's influencing a lot of people. I want you to hear some of the people world leaders that he is influencing today that are in support of Yuval Noah Harari.

Just as God in the Bible designs and creates animals and plants and humans according to his wishes. Now we are learning how to design and create life. Yuval Harari thinks big for a living. Not so long ago, he was an obscure history professor, but his 2014 book Sapiens changed all that. He explored the past cramming 150,000 years of human history into 400 pages.

Authority will shift. Transforming himself into a literary phenomenon. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome once again, Yuval Noah Harari. Name dropped by the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Barack Obama. The other book that I really enjoyed a book by an Israeli author Yuval Harari. His followup book, homo de has tackled the future elevating Harari to a sort of digital visionary.

All right. So you heard it there, Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg. So we're talking about a former president of the United States. We're talking about the guy who was the head of pretty much all of world technology and Bill Gates. And then we're talking about the guy who's the head of this vast system known as Facebook that connects the entire world. You're not going to find many who are more influential in the world scene and what has taken place than those three men.

And yet they are all in great support of Yuval Noah Harari. These things are taking place. And I want to ask you the question, are you again, connecting the dots? Do you see what has taken place? Folks, the Bible tells us that things would come to pass. And I want you as believers to understand though, that these are things that will take place during the seven year tribulation. And I truly believe based on scripture, that we as believers in Christ will be gone by the time these things come to pass. I truly believe that the rapture will have taken us away. But the question is, are you ready for the rapture? Because Jesus said that the signs that we see are the signs of his second coming, meaning when he will touch ground on the earth, after the tribulation ends, when he comes back to bring it to an end, the signs that we see are the setup for that. There are no signs for the rapture. And so that lets me know, just like when, when Christmas time is coming and you see the Christmas decorations and you see nothing about Thanksgiving, but you know that Thanksgiving comes before Christmas. So if you see Christmas, the signs of it coming, then you know that Thanksgiving is even that much nearer. And that is the way it is with the rapture. We know that it is near because we already see the signs of our Lord returning to earth to set up his kingdom. And prior to him setting up his kingdom and returning to earth, the antichrist is going to bring about these systems that we already see the technology in place to bring these things to pass.

I want to ask you, are you connecting the dots? Are you ready? And as believers in Christ, we should be excited because Jesus is coming for us soon, but we should feel pain and hurt for our lost loved ones that will be left behind to face these things. And that's why we need to reach them with this word, with this gospel and encourage them to accept our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. So that's going to do it for this week. We're all out of time.
