Yeah, I mean Basel obviously reporters are you know clamoring for that sit-down, but it's also been a line of attack from Trump. Today he sent out a campaign email underlining it's been 37 days since Biden exited the race and still no Harris interview. To be clear, she has taken questions from the press, just not in a lengthy televised sit-down. Does this really think Basel matter to anyone other than? I don't know where he's getting the idea that she took questions from the press.
And my God, I'm going to martyr myself if I have to sit here and listen to like weeks of this going into the election of these stooges going, She's taking questions from the press. Yes, she has. Jeez, this is the stupidest election cycle that we've ever had the misfortune of being alive during. And I have never, without any shred of irony, without any sense of facetiousness, have ever wanted A meteor to come and obliterate this rock more than I do this election cycle because it's ridiculous. And Kane agrees with me, even though maybe not in so strongly words.
I relate. I relate strongly to you. Yeah, because it's every day we hear these stooges, and I'm like, what in the world are you talking about? She's never. Every day and night, every hour, every day.
Every hour, it's every you can't get away from it. And They're saying, well, she's answered some questions. I heard someone say, well, she, you know, when she gets off. The plane, you know, she might answer some of the reporters, so don't act like she's not talking to the press. And I'm sitting here thinking, well.
That's not what we're talking about. And you guys know that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about like actual sit-down discussion stuff. And, you know, who the hell, that's not, that's totally not at all what we're getting at.
So, I don't know what the damage is, but it's kind of insane at this point. But that is the, that's the, the, The latest spin that they have.
Well, she's taking some questions. She's taking... No, she hasn't. She hasn't said anything. She hasn't taken anything with it either.
So no, no, no, no, you can't say that. You can't say it. All right, so welcome to the program. Dana Lash with you. We're at the top of this first hour here.
And Help us all. Do you guys know what this is gonna be like as we actually are in November as we get closer to November, it's just gonna get worse. It's gonna get worse. It's gonna get worse and worse and worse. I'm looking at these uh These headlines.
And they're really trying to defend a candidate that they hated. That's what makes me, I think, even matter. Because they hated her. Until literally like a second ago, they hated her. They did not like Kamala Harris.
The media didn't like her. Democrats didn't like her. No one liked her. And then now Now Oh, well, you know, she's uh it's f going forward. It's It's uh joy.
He realized that Mm-hmm. Forward joy is just hope and change. They just redid it. That's all it is. It's so lame.
They just redid it. I mean, they didn't even really bother changing all that much with it. They just decided, you know what, let's just go with it. We'll just go with this. It's the same thing.
So Some of the latest they're trying to get it are for Her, I, the fact that, so here's this political piece: it says Playbook Inside Harris's big interview decision. And I was reading this, and it seems like there's a lot of consternation in her camp as to should she do. A bigger sit-down? Sh should she not do a bigger sit-down? The fact that they're debating this so much.
shows that they have zero confidence in her. that her own side is debating this as much as they are, shows that there is zero confidence. in Kamala Harris from the left. from the left. This doesn't even have anything to do with the right.
This is all the left. They have zero confidence in her. And I think that's pretty evident. I mean, it's just, it's incredibly evident.
So They've her staff has been calling and kind of taking the temperature of certain reporters. Who should she talk to? They say behind the scenes, T V producers from big name anchors have been calling the campaign to pitch their talent as the person she has to do it with.
Well, that's, you know. That's part of the course. I don't doubt that at all. She's had a very light schedule. And they said that she's been trying to map out a media strategy.
How long does it take you to map out a media strategy? Doesn't matter how good the people around you are if you're just heinous. I mean, I'm just looking at this. This is a no confidence in this candidate. They're trying to, the campaign is trying to look around for some friendly.
you know, friendly people. Who can we talk to? Who are some friendlies that we can talk to? and uh do this with. Who are some friendlies?
Her staff has been Kind of putting the feelers out. Who's gonna be, because even if they're on the left, it doesn't necessarily mean that You know, she's got it locked up. It doesn't mean that they're gonna. it's gonna be all softballs. They need someone to ask her softballs.
They need somebody to ask her to just do like basic Nothing tough, nothing too hard, nothing too difficult. Just some basic stuff. That's what they need. And they're feeling around for it. That is a candidate that is not ready for prime time.
Now, this is where it gets even crazy. Uh Axios. How's this piece? And of course it's Campaign sources say Harris flip-flops on building the border wall.
So now, apparently, she's pledging to spend hundreds of millions of dollars. on the wall along the southern border.
Now I found a tweet from hers. I don't know if you saw. But I did find a tweet 'cause there's always a tweet. This was back in twenty seventeen. Where she had said, Trump's border wall is just a stupid use of money, I will block any funding for it.
And now she's like, Huh Maybe that force multiplier Border Patrol's been talking about maybe actually does something.
So she's planning on spending Hundreds of millions of dollars on this. It's making some of the left mad.
Some of the left has been wanting Democrats to do something about the border issue.
So now it looks like Axios is saying it's her flip-flopping. On Medicare for all and fracking. Here's the problem: when you come out and you're campaigning as a substitute candidate. and you've just mere you have mere weeks to define yourself before the election. The issue, what ends up happening is that you have to run so fast to the middle.
that it makes you look ridiculous. All your positions. It looks like she's abandoning the left, which is. But she's not doing it because she means it. She's not doing it because she's going to keep to some sort of moderate.
position when j if if you know God forbid she's elected. It just means that sh that's what she's doing right now to a sage. A lot of the moderate Democrats that do, by and large, make up a more significant portion of the party than the super vitriolic left, the Marxists. But the Marxists have all the power because they're the ones who do all the nonsense.
So. But she has to run to the middle faster, so it's not a gradual. Move to the middle, she has to race to the middle. And that's why it's so stark. Her p that's why it's so obvious that she's waffling on these issues.
Whether it's fracking, whether it's the gun confiscation, the mandatory gun confiscation, because I don't use stupid make-believe words like a buyback. Just like I don't believe that dudes can lop off their male copulatory organs and become broads, I also don't believe in things like buyback guns from the government because that's not a real thing. Uh she doesn't know she doesn't she's like m going for Medicare for all fracking now the b the border wall.
Now the border wall. And She had said that she would sign. She was talking during the DNC that she would sign this bipartisan border security bill. And they were, and Axios repeats this thing, which they said Trump ordered his allies to kill. He actually didn't.
And that's one of the reasons why there were some border hawks on the right that were mad at Trump. It's like they don't the sometimes the media is so stupid. Instead of seizing on these core issues that could actually do more damage to divide the right, the media just glosses over it and they're like, oh, well, he was telling everyone to kill the bill. And they don't even touch back on the division and the back and forth that that it's it's kind of dumb. I mean, if I were on the left, that's how I would try to break apart the right.
But they're not smart enough to do this.
So she's saying that she wants An actual border wall now. Because the border issue is one that is going to hurt her. Which is why they're going to try to make everything about abortion. And help me, I swear to you, if I have to c hear that as a message all the way going through November.
So Called it un-American, so I guess now she's supporting an un-American issue. It's what it seems like.
So it seems to me So now she's she's I guess, you know, she's about supporting that border. Supporting the border wall. We'll see. They're still arguing back and forth over this debate.
So that might not it might not even be something that they actually get to discuss. Because it doesn't I mean who knows they they may not they may not actually Come to an agreement on this.
So We're going to go back to this because she's she's waffling more than Mitt Romney did in 2012. Way more. I can't even believe I'm saying that because I thought Mitt Romney had the was just the king of waffling, but she seems to be beating him.
So they're They're trying to find a friendly in the press to pitch her to. Uh in the meantime We've got This is bubbling up in BC. Families that have entered the country illegally are now trying to sue. over this parole in place. Program It is legal relief.
that apparently goes to a half a million of people who are in the country illegally. I don't use the phrase undocumented because that's a make-believe term. That's like me going into a store and stealing a product. And then, when I'm asked whether or not I can provide a receipt, I just can say it's an undocumented purchase. We don't say stupid words like that because we're grown-ass people on this program.
So, you may forgive me if I pause from time to time to verbally edit a dumb story written by a half-wit, whether it's over at NBC or ABC or CBS.
So, it's a group of illegal immigrants and their families seeking to intervene in federal court. They want to defend, reports in BC, a new Biden administration program from a lawsuit by 16 Republican-led states. It's the quote-unquote keeping families together. as though it's the United States that tore them apart by forcing them over the border illegally in the first place. It's the parole in place and it's for people who want to they want to fast track to permanent residency.
And the lawsuits led by AG, Texas AG Ken Paxton, that was filed on Friday, last Friday, seeking to end the program.
So they have six people who are in the country illegally. Who stand to benefit, who are filing motions, which I just don't see how you have any kind of legal standing in this nation when you are not in here legally. You see what I mean? If you have not entered the country legally, you have zero legal standing in this nation. Just like if I were to illegally enter any other country on God's green earth, I would not be given the same legal standing as someone who is a citizen there or someone who.
entered the correct way, the lawful way.
So they've got all these nonprofit groups that are helping, and this one person, Fode Touré, was one of the illegal immigrants trying to intervene in the case. And this is what gets me. Ture was brought.
Now, Ture was brought from the, doesn't say how old he is now. He came as a kid from Sierra Leone.
so he was brought illegally to the United States as a child. And he is now a lawyer working for a prosecutor. And he says, you know, I he's like, it's absurd to me why Texas would bring a lawsuit that's tearing my family apart. What's absurd to me is why this lazy A Double Snakes, who has been in the country, you know, illegally for this damn long, he apparently was able to file to go to college. He was apparently able to file to go to work for this Philadelphia DA.
He was apparently able to file to get married. He was apparently able to file and do every other legal bit of paperwork when he had a child and everything else. But he couldn't prevail upon himself to file to become a legal citizen of the United States, particularly when you had an agreement under Obama that allowed people who were brought here as children to not be deported so long as they were going through the legal process of staying here legally, i.e., dreamers, where all that came from. It's not the United States' problem that Fode Torre is a welfare, glorified welfare, lazy ass, illegal immigrant who busted into this country and wants to blame everyone else. For his problems.
Take some responsibility. You've been here this entire time. You've been able to fill out all of these other applications and do everything else, but you have never taken it upon yourself to file the proper paperwork to start the process to become a legal citizen, even when we had existing laws in this country that protected people just like him against being deported, so long as he filled it out and was undergoing the process. Why are you so much more special than all of the other people that come into this country and do it the right way? Why does Fode Taré, is it because he's from Sierra Leone?
Is it because he kisses Democrat ass? What is it? Why is he so much more special than everyone else who comes into this country? I'm so tired of this stuff. You victimize yourself.

Would Kamala's proposed raise in corporate tax affect you, the consumer? Kamala's proposing raising corporate tax rates from 21 to 28%. Corporations are the ones selling stuff and providing services. By raising taxes, they raise the prices on things that they sell to you. Check out the Watchdog on Wall Street podcast on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcast.
And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
So, Australia, they've been studying guppies and they found that Prozac in the waterways is changing how fish behave because everybody's on a damn medicine. Go Big Pharma. Yay. Contamination of waterways with Prozac is making the fish upset and it's altering their little bodies and behaviors in ways that could threaten their long-term survival. A lot of people, look, I get it, that there are some people that have some chemical issues.
But then there are some people that want to have chemical issues and they look at it like as a thing, like, oh, I'm on Prozac. Like, that became like a thing to claim that. You know what I mean? Like in the past couple of, like, 10 years.
So they said as global consumption of pharmaceuticals increases, residues have entered rivers and streams via wastewater. Why is wastewater getting in there in the first place?
So that's happening in Australia. Maybe that means like you're going to get less likely to be attacked by like a gator or one of those big giant spiders down there because they're going to be on Prozac or something. Doesn't it like moderate their moods? I don't know. Let's see.
Two killed and one injured after Delta's plane. This is in Atlanta with a Delta flight. The plane tire exploded at an Atlanta airport. It was being changed.
So it was in the hangar at Hartsfield, Jackson, Atlanta. And an employee in a contract. Were killed at the scene. The third person suffered serious injuries. It was in the maintenance area just after 5 a.m.
World Health Organization launches a plan to try to stop impox monkeypox transmission. And they say the virus can be stopped so long as gay dudes stop having completely indiscriminate sex. That kind of what it takes. Stay with us. I agree with Annie Oakley, who said, I would like to see every woman know how to handle guns as naturally as they know how to handle babies.
Now, I myself regularly conceal carry a 9mm.
Now, that said, not every woman is like me, has had the hours of training that I've had or feels comfortable around firearms due to years of use, or maybe they're by a gun-free zone. I'd like to change that what I can while encouraging self-defense at the same time.
So, this is where Burna comes in. It's kind of like a starter weapon. It's they make a non-firearm firearm. I like the idea of incredible force sending chemical irritants towards a threat as an additional option for women. And the Burna SD model shoots chemical irritant projectiles, 68 caliber.
Rounds that can deter threats in their tracks up to 50 feet away. I mean, it is hard. Easy target acquisition, zero recoil. Burna is legal in all 50 states. There's no background checks, no permits required.
It's shipped directly to your door. Gun-free isn't applicable to Burna. It's great for wherever guns are banned. Visit Burna.com slash Dana for 10% off. That's B-Y-R-N-A.com/slash Dana.

And I am not held responsible for any of the smartassidery that takes place there if your feelings get hurt.
So, Kane and I disagree on some things, and we're going to just bring this to-I know we got other meat and potatoes. Let me lay it out before he eagerly decides to excitedly interrupt. Smart for you, not for him. I can't even position.
Okay, so first and foremost, you guys know me. I pretty much hate every politician. There are some that I would maybe consider throwing a life raft to if they were drowning. And you guys think I'm joking. And I mean, it applies to everyone.
Every single one without exception. There are some that I'm like, okay, I like this person. I could see, I can vote for this person, I can support this person, or I think this person's good. But by and large, I just don't like them. Because they're weird.
Politicians are weird people. You never know when you're talking to them, what you're getting. I mean, they're really nice to you, and you're like, no one's that nice. I, that's what I think. I'm like, you must be, if you're really nice when I first meet you, I immediately assume you're a serial killer.
I can't help it. Uh I am the most cynical person you will ever meet. I am Mark Twain's disappointment.
So Okay. But you are. I've met a lot of people, and you are literally the most cynical. I'm just realistic. I don't look at it as being cynical.
I am practical. That's how I look at it. Cynicism is a pejorative. I am practical. So Applying that context to this conversation.
I I'm all about coalition building. I don't like to use the phrase big tent because big tent. Almost intimates that we're also stop interjecting so help me So, help me. I'm just saying, when we had this discussion off. I'm getting to it.
I'm not there yet. You didn't preface it with anything you just now said, but go. Because we were going back and forth.
Now I'm talking about it in a segment. Are you going to be all right over there, Kane?
Okay.
So. I like coalitions and I understand the need of coalitions. I have talked about it enough, methinks.
Okay?
So I get coalitions. What I don't like. is the hyperventilating standing Fanboying. Over certain. political figures, right?
And I'm sorry, RFK Jr. is one of them. I don't, I I get that people are very excited that he's going on the campaign total Trump. That's great. But I've been seeing people share memes like it's the Justice League and it's like him and Tulsi Gabbard and all this other stuff.
I'm like, why is everybody now acting like RFK Jr. is the second coming of Raking Jesus? Why is this? You know, why? Why?
This is a guy. I'm going to be really honest. And if you get mad at me, I don't care. Let Smod come. This is a guy who's accused of driving his first wife to suicide.
It's a guy who said he was going to like jail climate change deniers. He's a weird guy on gun control. I'm all fine with coalition building, but stop trying to be like, this guy should be in charge of the CIA. This guy should be in charge of the Department of the Treasury. What?
Where on earth? Why are you letting him into the strategy room? Stop. Who's in the treasury thing? I'm just making that part up.
Okay, but the CI and all this stuff, like, let's put him in part, let's put him on the cabinet. No, no, no. Hold up, hold up, hold up. I like the coalition. But I will gatekeep like an Alphabet Person, I was gonna say, you know what I mean?
I will gatekeep so hard about letting somebody into the strategy room, doesn't mean you sit on the war council, you know what I'm saying. Kane's like, well, he's had a... He's had a change of heart. Oh, what? Why don't you let me say what I was saying?
Go ahead. Go ahead. I'm going to interrupt you just as much as you want to do. Just so people know, just so people know. You just made the whole argument that you made in our art.
Discussion right then, just right now. You get got to the end of it without even saying how we got there. Just comment and tell people how we got there. How we got there.
So we're in break, commercials are playing, and Dana's like, Why the hell do people keep filleting this dude online? And I'm like, what do you mean? True. True story. What do you mean?
Like, oh, I'm just so sick of how people do all this. I'm like, listen, people are excited. I get it.
Somebody on the left woke up. But they're saying that he needs to be in the cabinet and he should be leading departments. And I'm like, what? They can say all of that that they want. What we know as far as his involvement with the Trump campaign is he's not going to be in charge of making policy or anything like that.
He actually might be in charge of. You have assurances of that? No, we don't have any. Do you have any assurances of anything in the future? No.
No, of course not. Except maybe we'll get hit by an answer. He's excited by the concept. He lived his entire life believing Republicans were the oppressors. He now has woken up and seen that the Democrat.
He said so.
So he loves guns. He said as much. Do you think he just went out there? He loves guns now? Loves guns.
Do you think he faked going against Democrats? I don't know. I think he saw that a presidential candidate got shot. And it was like, well, damn. Hold on.
Is he in a position to make policy on taking guns away? Or will he ever be in a position?
Well, if he's a part of a cabinet. I mean, who knows if he's actually gets a department position somewhere, who knows? Right. And who would raise their hand as a Republican and agree with that? Nobody.
Are you kidding me? Really? I've watched them melt over this issue on stage. I've watched them melt into baits. I've watched them do, oh, okay, let's not do that.
What do you mean, melt in favor of? Yeah. Yeah, I think if they think it's popular, I think if some Republicans, I think about 50% of Republicans, 50%, if not Republicans. I think if enough of them thought it was popular enough, they'd be for it because they love Republicans. Popularity more than they love the people.
But I know what you're saying. You're like, oh, he's had a change of heart. That all may be well and good. But on the core issues like climate change and abortion and all this other stuff, he hasn't changed. He just likes Trump.
That's it. Right, but but I was saying the people's excitement about him, it's not necessarily filleting him or anything like that. They realize that somebody on the left is seeing it the way they're seeing it. They're excited about that. And they see also now that Tulsi's joining up, that this is something that the Democrats have gone too far, that they're forcing Democrats to join up.
I just think it's funny that this guy who's been a lifelong Republican or Democrat is like, can you believe that Democrats are jackasses? And we're like, yeah, what do you think we've been saying for the past, like, how many decades? He's like, finally, welcome. Instead, you're like, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be like, now come and sit on our war council and let's make decisions about the future. I'm not going to do that.
That's right down the line. But to act like he has no other value than just liking Trump is selling a bit shit. The only way I value him is if he can bring votes in. And then after that, I want the votes that he would bring in and then stay out of it. Exactly.
We have to wait till November to see how that goes. When it comes to driving the ship, my coalition only goes so far. I get it.
I'm not even gonna front on that. Like my coalition goes so far. I get it.
Yeah. But people, I'm just explaining why people are excited about the concept. But do you realize, too, that this is a problem that the right has? If they see one person that's influential that agrees with them, they're like, we're going to crown him Jesus Reagan. We love him.
Nobody's crowning him Jesus Reagan. They're just excited and expressing that excitement. I know you're all anti-happiness and everything. You're not anti-happiness. You're anti-joy.
I am a practical person. I feel like I'm the only one who sees the matrix here right now. But this is how, I mean, people are excited. You're seeing people excited.
Sometimes people get crazy with their excitement.
Sometimes they smile. I get crazy with my excitement too.
Sometimes I smile. Your RBF though is really strong. It is really strong. That's why I tell people, I'm like, I could never do plastic surgery or like freeze my face because everyone would think I'd hate them all the time. Like, I could never do that because the RBF is so strong.
I've got to constantly pull my eyebrows up to my scalp. There are people excited about it. That's the only point. I get it.
And you don't have to kill their happiness and joy. I'm not killing anyone's happiness and joy. You don't have to step on their parade. I'm a queen. Drop bull cookies all over their face.
Like I'm watching Real Housewives of Kane over here. The world. You don't have to kill my happiness. You don't have to murder my job. No, but you're mistaking excitement for like fealty or something.
No, I'm mistaking seeing memes of Justice League and people who go on Fox say he should be in a cabinet position. And I'm like, what? That's my that's that's that's a little bit more. I mean, these are serious people who are saying this stuff. Scooby-Doo voice is awesome.
Yeah. But you guys get it though now. See, you see my, yeah.
So it's not like we disagree. Lorraine makes a good point. Hold up, hold up, but because she brought this is what I mentioned to you. She comes back to the vaccines. We agreed on the Rona vaccines.
And that's kind of what started all of it, because the left is so high minded. The left loses their back end if they think that one of the people on the left is disapp wait a minute, you disagree with 1% of our agenda? You are a traitor. Traitor's gonna trait. And you remember three years ago when we'd reached out to the RFK.
Team, they originally agreed to come on, and then they were like, Oh, wait, no, no, that was three years ago, they were barely talking to anybody conservative at that time. I see this as an exciting, nice evolution. And I'm not taking it any farther than that. Yeah. I mean, I like that you're very optimistic.
I'm not. I have been polluted by reality. I don't. I look. If people want to start agreeing with me on stuff, beautiful.
Doesn't mean I'm letting you drive the car, okay? That's great. If you agree with me, like Dana, you know what? I also think that the station should only be set on 80s. I agree with you that satellite radio should only be on the 80s.
I get it, the 80s station. I agree with you on that. But you know what? The other stuff. I'm like, okay, that's great.
You can have some input on that. But you're not driving the car. You don't get to say which road we turn on.
So just sit back there, don't backsee drive, and STFU. That's all, that's it, that's it. Cammy some snacks, that's it. It's your sole responsibility in the back seat is that you're the keeper of the snacks. That's it.
You don't even get to apportion them to me. That's the front, that's the passenger. That's the co-pilot. They get to help with the radio and the apportionment of sound. You just hand it out to the front.
That's it. That's all you get. That's where I'm at. Olin's fax.
So That's kind of how I view all this. Is it mean? I don't care. I'm a realist. I want to win and I want to keep my freedoms in as much original condition as the founders intended as possible.
And like I said, I'm all about coalition building, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna let everybody and their damn brother come sit on the war council. just not going to do it. And I think, you know, if some people are agreeing with you on a couple of issues, that's great. But on the big issues, Like Tulsi Gabbard, I don't have anything against. People always think I have something against politicians.
If I dislike you personally, you know, I'm honest about it and I will just tell you because I don't care about going to cocktail parties. I don't care about being on the speaker circuit. I don't care. I don't have to grift that way. I don't care.
I just griff by doing hard work. That's it. I don't care. But I see. You know, like when I like we've invited Tulsi Gabbard on the show before, she will not come on the show.
And that's fine. I'm never a jerk when anybody's on, but I've always questioned the two-way stuff. And I read the post that she had up. about uh where I guess it's supposed to be Sufficed to explain her change on 2A, but it didn't really explain anything. And it left actually, now I got more questions than I started with.
And if people Even if people want to appear to agree with you because it is advantageous to them at the time because they've been canceled out on their own side, I will take that and use it if it means getting my agenda to go forward. But when it comes to putting that person on the war council or making that person like a part of the board of directors for the movement, that ain't happening. Not going to happen. Because I think you got to be in it with the people in the principles enough for you have to prove yourself and pay your dues by showcasing that your beliefs are real. You're not just giving lip service to Second Amendment.
You're not just giving lip service to limited government. Like you are ab you're actually helping to elect candidates. And I've never seen any of these cats work to help elect anybody but themselves.
So I don't think any jury would convict me on that front. That's how I look at it. So when you put in that effort, then maybe we'll go a little bit further. But that's just kinda that's how I look at it. And people are like, oh Danny, you're mean.
Look, I'm all about the coalition. But that don't mean they get to drive the car. Very big, big difference. We got more on the way, but I got some. Have you watched Acolyte Cain?
Act no. No, I'm not gonna either. It looks horrible. And then the Lord of the Rings stuff. Oh boy.
Yeah, that series. I might break something. I don't know if I'm going to get out of the show today without setting a fire in the studio. I don't know what's going to happen. We have more on the way.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States. The social and economic benefits of home ownership should be accessible to everyone, regardless of immigration status. What? You know what? How about all the stuff you got in your house should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their immigration status?
I mean, you're talking about our taxpayer dollars. I don't owe anyone, even people who are here legally, my taxpayer dollars. I mean, that's I where.
So, where do you get off demanding that everybody fork over their hard-earned money and just start giving away money for people to buy houses? You're telling me that people who live here, what about people who went and fought and bled for our country and who were in combat and then they come back and they have to fight the VA just for basic treatments and bare minimum necessities. And you're telling me that those people don't get any kind of consideration, but if you cross the border illegally, then you can get to the front of the line and you can get consideration for housing, $25,000 bonus for your house, making the houses more expensive for everyone. I mean, where did these people come off? This is what makes people angry.
You know who it makes angry too? Angrier, even? Individuals who come across the border legally Do everything they're supposed to do, want to be a part of this American fabric, want to be Americans. And you you you're just that you're just spitting in their eye. Because you're telling them that their hard work is less valuable to you than someone that you think you can manipulate for a vote.
This is sad. Who was that? Who was that, uh? Uh California. One of your reps I can't do.
I don't know. I It's sad. Yeah, he's a state rep. The social and economic benefits of home ownership should be accessible to everyone. You know what?
Being a billionaire should be accessible. Where are you going to stop? If you really love people, then everyone should be able to be a billionaire. If you really love people, right? We're getting there.

I don't think you're ever going to find a commander-in-chief of the United States of America in our military who doesn't. Who better understands what grief is like, what mourning is like, what sorrow is like, what frustration is like than Joe Biden. He knows exactly what grief feels like.
Now, it's a different kind of grief. I understand that. We're talking about men and women who were lost in a combat role through a bloody terrorist act. That's different. I get it.
But you're not going to find a commander-in-chief who doesn't better understand and can feel the grief that they're going through and to make sure that they know that they're going to continue to have the support that they deserve.
So, this is. John Kirby. trying to defend Biden against His I don't know, his omission, he didn't publicly name the thirteen.
Soldiers that were killed due to Biden's own disastrous withdrawal, Biden Harris's withdrawal from Afghanistan. And Kirby's like, Well, he knows what grief feels like. Shut the front door. Stop. Welcome back to the program.
Dana Lash with you. We're at the top of the second hour. You can listen coast to coast. You probably are. Channel 347 Direct TV also in Rumble and You can find us over on X, where we also stream.
In Substack, chapter and verse, lots of good stuff that goes out there on the regular. No, this is the well, they don't have empathy. Biden's not grieving. Biden's on the beach in Delaware. Those of you who get the headlines.
that uh every every day that get my radio prep That makes up part of what we discuss in the program. The beach photo that I had was literally from. Yesterday. That's a Biden beat. That was literally Joe and Jill yesterday.
And they've had the Secret Service out there shooing everybody away from him on the beach. You know, they kind of set up a perimeter because they're, you know, he's so special. He's on the beach. That's where he is. That was them yesterday.
So he's not grieving anything. He was on the beach. And you uh he also was not invited. to the ceremony in Arlington by the families who were Uh oh. Marking the three-year observance of losing their loved ones in Afghanistan.
That is. Tell me that you have zero empathy without telling me you have zero empathy and that's it.
Well, he didn't name, you know, he knows what grief it feels like. What the hell does that have to do? with his decision that got these 13 people killed. What what does that have to do? Biden's eldest son that he has used endlessly, and I honestly, I do question.
I know it's not. A thing that you're supposed to do, but I do question sometimes his grief because he. Opportunistically weaponizes it, just like he did his wife that was killed in a car accident that she caused. And he went out and lied to everyone and said, Oh, it was a truck driver And then the story grew, it was a drunk truck driver And that truck driver's family suffered for decades because they had their loved one disparaged. The guy wasn't drunk.
She ran a stop sign. and got herself killed. That's what happened.
So This Opportunistic weaponization of grief. I kind of question him. I don't think he has an empathy chip. And that was just lame from Kirby. I know Kirby's got to go out there and be Biden's janitor.
But good night. That's just that well, yeah, you know, he knows what grief feels like. If he does, then why didn't he name the thirteen, John? He knows what grief feels like. Does he know what grief is like when, imagine this, imagine you're a parent.
And by the way, I had a friend that performed legal work. for some of the families. In that some of these families, specifically of these 13. service members who were lost. And the stuff that has come out From you know, looking at What happened and going through some of the legal stuff?
I mean, they knew that they knew what was happening. They knew that the place was being cased. They knew that Abby Gate was being cased. They knew that there were people trying to blow them up. And in fact, the guy who apparently uh was the bomber uh he was the guy that they had seen the day before and the day before that.
They weren't told that they couldn't take the shot. They were told that they just, you know, hold your position. You just, you can only do what you're going to do. Imagine you're the parent. And your son or daughter is there at that gate.
And they know someone's coming to kill them, and they're told to just take it, because it's exactly what the order really distills down. Just take it. You're gonna get killed, just take it. That is That's what they saw running towards them. That's what they saw happening in the chaos of Biden Harris's withdrawal.
That is a grief. I can't even imagine. And those parents Those soldiers, those soldiers just had to take it. They couldn't they couldn't take the guy out. They knew it was coming and they couldn't do anything about it.
And it speaks more to their heroism and bravery than it does any. crash human that's in the White House right now or the Pentagon or the DOD. They admirably held their positions. And they they held the line. They did not disavow orders.
I don't know many people who could say the same. Oh, but he knows what grief is like, Joe Biden. I doubt it. I really doubt it. He knows what it's like to weaponize it.
He knows what it's like to hide behind it as a shield against any kind of criticism.
Well, you can't criticize Biden because he'll bring up his oldest son. Oh, you can't criticize Bryden, you know, because of his oldest son. I mean it's just It's offensive. And it showcases a complete lack of empathy that's not just with Biden, but also with Harris. Audio sound by 10.
J.B. Pritzker. the penguin of the DC universe that is Democrats controlling Chicago. He had to say this about Kamala Harris in the border. Listen.
Well, look, you don't have to be there to know there is a problem at the border that needs to be addressed in general. This is a 40-year problem. Republicans and Democrats have been unwilling to get together on border control and on comprehensive immigration reform. And Joe Biden tried to get people together to do something about it. In fact, he campaigned on it, and Republicans refused, and then finally put a border security bill on the table, a Republican-written border security bill.
So look, whether you're there or not there, I mean, of course, visiting the border is one thing to do to draw attention to it. But the most important thing that she can do is have a policy that will actually make a difference. It was absolutely the numbers were way better. under the previous administration, but you know. Yeah.
This you you were you were literally you're literally talking about a bill in which Republicans were told that they could only negotiate over what rules that illegal entrants could ignore and which ones they they had to actually kind of listen to. It didn't end catch and release. It didn't shut down the border. Oh, it only shut down if it got up to 5,000 illegal crossings per day, which meant it was going to be 4,999 crossings per day. I mean, it's still a de facto open border.
That's what Democrats said, they wouldn't move on it. That's what Democrats said you had to agree to. And if you didn't agree to 400,000 or 4,999 Uh illegal crossings in a day, if you couldn't agree to that, then um, you know, then I guess you just don't want to sell border security. And then that's what they ran with. I mean, no wonder the deal didn't make it, 'cause it's a stupid deal.
Who in their right mind would agree to that? Oh, we're okay, well we're not gonna actually limit illegal crossings. We don't have anything for the border wall, right?
Okay.
Right, all right, so Uh and what you can have What, crossings, 4,000 illegal crossings a day over seven days? We can do that.
Okay, yeah, that's still. This is it's so dumb. But that was that was the deal.
Well, you don't have to be at the border.
Well, it's a good damn thing because she has never gone to the border. Oh, she was in El Paso, the sanitized border after they pushed all the homeless off the streets, and that was the part that has the wall there. Interestingly enough.
Okay, so they set her there.
Now, that bipartisan bill, don't fall into that trap of thinking that there was anything good in it. There wasn't. I mean, you still had at least thousands of people that were to be processed every day at ports of entry. It was going to continue regardless. The whole design of the bill was to.
Continue it regardless. It was on again, off again, maybe potential border number. It would only deactivate if you had border crossings that dropped to like what 80% of what they would be. On any given day. That was it.
Not even really a reduction. That just meant that that the the cartels were going to be smart about how many they let over. That was so. Oh, and then there's a the president could only use it, actually do so much under it, and it would. Uh They were trying to structure it so that if Trump ever got into office, there's nothing that he could do to stop the number of crossings or this Rube Goldberg mechanism that determined when the border could shut down and when it couldn't.
That was the whole design of this bill. And they're trying to say that it was wrong. It was designed to fail. Democrats designed this bill to fail.
So they could just Look like they were doing something. No one read the bill. People who were cheerleading this bill never read it. They literally never read it. They're going off of whatever MSNBC tells them to.
That's the state of politics today. It's so stupid. And it gives the media something to run with. Of course, yeah. Republicans killed a solution on the border.
A solution that did nothing. Forty-nine to fifty procedural vote. Only four Republicans joined Democrats in backing it. It had to have sixty to go forward.
So yeah, it was DOA. And why would it not be? It was a dumb bill. But And now she's. I'm waiting.
Someone joked that is Kamala Harris going to jail Hillary Clinton, too? Because now she seems to be copying all these. Republican positions, it's kind of funny. Speaking of uh immigration, McConnell, this is coming from Axios.
So the Save Act. We've talked about that a little bit. Re was regulating uh Voting Two. voting whether or not someone was here in the country legally. uh whether or not they would actually be able to vote.
And this was something we also had a lot of moves in Texas over this. The Save Act. This is the bill The spending bill that should pass in September. Attached to it is the SAVE Act. And Mike Lees talked about this, Senator Lees talked about this.
Uh the Save Act uh Is about it's designed to stop people who are not who are not here legally from voting. and making determinations about the governing of our country. And apparently Senate GOP leadership, according to Axios, they're trying to stop this. They're trying to, they say it's going to cause a shutdown. They say that the government's going to have a shutdown if the SAVE Act is included in this.
Okay, wow. And Republicans always think a shutdown right before an election is bad for them. They've done this every time. They always think that a shutdown right before an election is going to hurt Republicans. Do you remember when they did this back in 2012?
They also did this back in 2010, and that's when we delivered this huge shellacking, as the way it was described by Barack Obama. to Democrats. That's never how it works. In fact, I think people like the fact that the government gets shut down.
So they're saying if the h if the Save Act is in this September spending bill, then Chuck Schumer and Democrats, they're going to add other stuff to it. They want to strip states of their ability of any kind of authority over elections, which I think that requires a constitutional amendment if you're going to do that. But that's a whole other discussion. Uh they can't add a lot of the measures that Democrats want to add, they can't do it without having 60 votes. You got 51 Democrats, 49 Republicans, so it could be stopped.
I mean, it's that tight in the Senate. But they think that it'll be a shutdown. But they They think too. that if If there are people who are in the country illegally voting. They're here illegally and then they're also voting.
They think that if Democrats are able to score a win over that, remember what we talked about yesterday, Chuck Schumer wants to eliminate the filibuster. And then they would pass legislation. They'd try they'd make an enrond around in Congress and the length of time it would take to litigate it, it would be de facto in place. That would take away their author state authority over elections. And that's that's a big deal.
And it will take years before it could be Uh neutralized.
So that's that's That's something to consider. And it looks like this piece at Axios, it says McConnell's big fear on the next budget fight. It's a GOP showdown. because there's an October 1st government funding deadline. And Axios, of course, is working right with some of this.
Oh, well, conservatives have shown a willingness to flirt with shutdowns to push priorities. Priorities, you mean like not allowing people who are not here illegally to vote? Because that's exactly what it is. It's the Save Act. Biden said he strongly opposes it.
Oh, does he even know what it is? I don't even think so. Johnson, however, speaker, is a proponent of the SAFE Act, so he said he's fine with attaching it to this funding bill.
So this is one to keep an eye on. Because this is going to be at the heart of this fight. Over shutdown. I agree with Annie Oakley, who said, I would like to see every woman know how to handle guns as naturally as they know how to handle babies.
Now, I myself regularly conceal carry a nine millimeter.
Now, that said, not every woman is like me, has had the hours of training that I've had, or feels comfortable around firearms due to years of use, or maybe they're by a gun-free zone. I'd like to change that what I can while encouraging self-defense at the same time.
So, this is where Burna comes in. It's kind of like a starter weapon, it's they make a non-firearm firearm. I like the idea of incredible force sending chemical irritants towards a threat as an additional option for women. And the Burna SD model shoots chemical irritant projectiles, 68 caliber rounds, that can deter threats in their tracks up to 50 feet away. I mean, it is hard, easy target acquisition, zero recoil.
Burna is legal in all 50 states. There's no background checks, no permits required. It's shipped directly to your door. Gun-free isn't applicable to Burna, it's great for wherever guns are banned. Visit Burna.com slash Dana for 10% off.
That's B-Y-R-N-A.com slash Dana. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five.
So now experts are worried that phone-addicted Gen Z are losing their ability to use computer keyboards. And they're And like the touch type proficiency, they said that the devices are replacing time spent practicing typing. But does that matter if nobody's? I mean, that's kind of. I think it's important.
I can type super fast. I think you do need to type, you know, you need to understand how to do it, but. Also, if kids are on laptops at an early age or even iPads, doesn't that sort of train you to do it anyway because that's now yeah golly Can you imagine? That's gonna change the way we look. Oh, let's see.
Burning man, there's already a fatality. A burning man. And they're not selling out. Authorities are investigating the fatality of female participant. They said it was, I don't know, was this somebody who's 39 years old?
They can't, there's no, nobody knows. Nobody knows. This story is meaningless to me. I don't care. She fell on some needles and peasies.
I mean, it's sad, but it's, you know, also, it's like, it's not, it's not worthy enough to be in quick five right now. Fair, so check this out. In New York City, 48% of riders apparently don't pay the fares. Fair evasion. That's what they call it.
They said that 48% just don't even pay any kind of fare. They said that New York's long-running fare evasion problem is the worst of any major city in the world. It's intensified recently. About one in five riders skip the fare.
Now, what gets me is the city went after people selling loose cigarettes. really aggressively because they didn't want to lose that money. But what about this? What about this? Nobody's doing anything with this.
This is crazy. If you think your life is boring, apparently so do one in four Americans. Really, though? What is a boring life? They're saying that 40 is the new 30, and I don't know what that means, but that's what they all say.
But I didn't, that's kind of sad. Like, is it unfulfillment? They didn't actually get into it, but huh? Uh, stick with us because uh, cold. Culture, Cancel Culture, Star Wars Acolyte.
Lord of the Rings, all of it, stick with us. Subscribe to the Dana Show podcast. Because who says you can't make fun of people while staying informed on your own personal time? Subscribe on YouTube, Apple, or wherever you get your podcast. Welcome back to the program.
Dana Lash here with you. Bottom of this. Second hour Did you guys see the I've seen this this type of stuff before? Where uh it's usually like the FBI or to be I remember the when it really This was back in I think like two thousand and nine. You had um The Missouri Highway Patrol had used this.
It's uh like extremist Phrases This is the FBI's militia. violent extremism. And it's uh like a some sayings, etcetera, or whatever. They've And it's at fbi.gov. Oh no, I don't want it downloaded.
I didn't want that. I just wanted to open it in a PDF, not to download it, your fruitcakes.
So They have this thing. that They call terrorism they have terrorism definitions. They have Um uh defined by the FBI and DHS, they have these phrases. Things like the symbols guide. And they have, um Militia violent extremism.
And it's not If that makes sense to you.
So it's it's updated. And it gets into their strategic intelligent, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We believe it's intelligent. It gets into all of that stuff, and it talks about terminology used and things like that. And it has.
Uh, you know, some examples in it, but it gets into threat overview, militia, violent extremists, etc. Uh, three percenters, and they said that, like, for instance, some people use the term boogaloo. Which ref Mm-hmm. To references a violent uprising or impending civil war. I like Smod.
Fiery Boogaloo. The term is pit I love when feds who Set up the entrapment of Whitmer and they were there, J6, and all this other stuff. I love when the feds try to make these observances. They say, oh yes, the term Boogaloo really resonates with militia violent extremists, MVEs. who have adopted it, Uh it's said to use it and they said uh following perceived incursions on constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment.
Uh they get into targets and tactics and Uh I swear I I think they mentioned memes in here, I wouldn't doubt it. Uh they also touch on Uh key terms, right?
So key terms that are used. And so you got Boogaloo. Second Amendment is apparently a term that is a key term. For Militia violent extremist.
So it has Second Amendment or 2A. refers to Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. That's they said MVEs and others within the militia movement often reference and interpret it to justify private militia activities in their opposition to gun laws. You know, you can have a private militia and a private and do private militia activities already, right? Right?
That's What is this nonsense? It gets into Agenda 21 Boogaloo, bug out, false flag. FEMA camps Field training exercise. Who made this list up? Which Fed FUD made up this list?
I mean I use all of these words. Am I a militia violent extremist? Because I use words like boogaloo, bug out, false flag. field training exercise or second amendment i use second amendment 28 all the time So if you cite a constitutional right that makes you a violent extremist. It looks like that, right?
But None of the people who ever talk about taking those rights. or ever. considered to be violent extremists. That's kind of interesting. No, it's not.
It's not. Uh A new thing. But it is updated.
So this thing is it's a it's an updated list. I was just looking at this and I'm just like, I can't believe oh, they call like a Buja Dahin. Big igloo, big luau, boog boys, all these terms. They literally have, those are great terms, by the way. Buja Hadeen.
That's hysterical. And other associated wordplay, in addition to imagery like igloos, Hawaiian shirts, and leys, are used. As coded references to the larger boogaloo phenomenon on and offline. This is a serious government document. Because some people use the term jokingly.
And RMVEs. Wait, what's the RMVE? We have the militia violent extremists. What's the R? I don't know.
who advocate They talk about racism, etc.
So basically, anybody who uses the term boogaloo, they're trying to say is a racist. Bug out? A phrase used by M V E's and non-extremist preppers to reference emergency contingency planning, usually involving weapons, supplies, evacuation procedures and rendezvous locations. And This is this is moronic. Absolutely moronic.
But this is what, uh yeah. This is what they're this is literally what they're they're our government is doing. Uh Did you elect them to do this? The FBI? I didn't elect anybody in the FBI.
Yeah. What about mullen labe? Is that still a thing that they I'm shocked that's not in there yet. Is the come and take it or don't tread on me? Is that also someone made the point?
So, if you like the movie Killdozer. Does that mean that you get added to the anti Boogaloo department? The list? I'm just curious. Boogaloo?
It just makes it not serious to me. It makes me want to say it more. It's like an 80s breakdance movie. Not interested. Yeah, it makes me want to say it more.
I mean Hell, when do they find out about Skibbity Toilet, dude? Don't open that kettle marm. Wait until they find out about. Skibbity toilet. Yeah.
We just got on list just then.
Well we're gonna bug out to the skibity toilet boogaloo. Oh, we're on list. Making it all the lists. This is what our government is doing.
Meanwhile, at the border, it's all chaos, but up but up in the important people departments.
So asinine.
Now you see why. We're gonna have Jim when when is Jim Jordan on? He's on this week with us. Tomorrow. I got Jim Jordan who's gonna be coming up with us tomorrow.
Because, you know, Zuckerberg was He was uh He had testified before. members of Congress and then now he's admitted Hmm. He's admitted. that speaking of government lists and government cooperation and all this other stuff, he's actually admitted that yes, they did work with the Biden administration to suppress speech. And two.
throttle descent. They said that, according to House Judiciary, he admitted to working with the administration to pressure Facebook to censor Americans. and throttling the which we knew. I mean, but what's the okay, so here's the thing. What is what did we get from this?
Okay, so he admitted that he did it and we all knew he did it.
Well, what did we get from it? He did it. We know he did it. What's What uh what's what do we get out of it? That's what I'd like to know.
What Penalty is going to exist to prevent anybody else from doing this again to Americans. I mean, good grief. It's uh they say it's a big win for free speech.
Well, we all knew this. The big win for free speech is to stop it from happening again. I mean, that's the big win. from from this. I I don't know.
The whole thing is just is is asinine. That it was done in the first place, but also that do we I think that some like Jim Jordan and others have the will to do something. I just don't know practically, realistically, what they can or would do.
So This could technically still happen again. Hell, maybe it still is. You don't know. Honestly, I think. He's seen some of this.
I will say, Facebook never went as far as some of these others. But it still went pretty far. It doesn't collaborate with China and it won't work with China, which is why China has its own version of Facebook. but they still went pretty far. I mean, let's be real with it.
He said he regretted working with them to censor. They uh published a letter that he had sent. And he said that he didn't even really want to be political. I mean, really, he wants to kind of be neutral on everything, which. I don't think anyone's ever really neutral.
But He had said that in a separate situation the FBI had warned us about a potential had warned us about a potential Russian disinformation operation, et cetera, et cetera. And then when we saw the New York Post story reporting on corruption, we sent that to fact checkers and temporarily demoted it while waiting for a reply. Since it's been made clear, the reporting was not Russian disinformation. And he said we should not have demoted the story in retrospect. And that they're changing their policies and processes to make sure it doesn't happen again.
And that they will no longer demote things while waiting for fact checkers. They shouldn't have done that in the first place anyway. They shouldn't have demoted anything. And he says that he regrets. that he f you know is regretful of it.
Well I don't know what to make of it. And what's to come of it? Right? What is to come of it? Kane, what's to come of it?
I mean hopefully Guys like Zuck, people that are in charge of these social media platforms, will stop. actually acquiescing to the government on these things. Hopefully, until we get something legislatively that prevents the government from doing it. We already do, by the way, it's called a constitution. We it's the Constitution.
The government cannot suppress your speech in any way. It's just literally already law, but somehow we have to clarify it. Right. And what what impact on Missouri v. Biden?
Because that was the big suit. What what impact on Missouri v. Biden? I think that's an important that's an important discovery.
So we'll follow all of this. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man. All right, so a Florida man was on probation for drug trafficking. And he looks like Santa.
Or a really just unkempt Kenny Rogers, I can't Yeah. Uh I'm sorry, I'm supposed to blade this guy's 63, Kane. Fallucia County. He was taken into custody. He was Uh arrested for armed ooh, armed trafficking of fentanyl and meth.
Ugh. And then he got arrested again on similar charges. He's sixty three years old, this guy, supposedly. 63 years old. Cecil McCoy.
What an uh Are you sure he's in Florida? That sounds like he's Kentucky. Cecil McCoy. Took him into custody, Circle K and Deltona. Uh he uh was busted.
He had all kind he had fentanyl on him when they took him into custody, enough to kill lots of people. And then he also had 85 grams of meth. And he he did say all of it's mine, so I mean, he you know, at least there's he was honest about it, but still, good heavens. I just Like, go find an honest line of work. You know, I mean, you can find.
I realize maybe it's not the job that you want, but there's some honest line, honest line of work out there that you can have. Just saying. Let's see. This. Got a couple of other oh boy.
Nope, no, I'm not doing this one about Nope, not doing that one.
Well, we got the Guy who Florida man from Key West he attacked a man holding a sign that displayed a Bible verse.
So this is Stock Island, Florida. This guy's supposed to be 50. I'm supposed to believe that this guy's 50 years old. Again, also don't believe these ages. Meth kills, dude.
Meth kills in ages.
So this guy, let's see here. 50-year-old man from Key West, arrested. He attacked a guy who was holding a John 316 sign. Just this innocent guy. But the guy who was arrested looks like the bad guy from the original Twin Peaks.
Really? He has his hair and everything. He looks like Bob from Twin Peaks. Completely. The guy's name is Jose Jerome Hernandez.
He attacked the 37-year-old victim. Uh the the guy was just holding a John 3.16 sign, that's all it was.
So, yeah, there's yeah. There's that. But he looks the thing that really stuck out to me is that he looks like Bob from Twin Peaks, the original Twin Peaks. Let's it not gonna do this one either. Nope, nope, nope There's some that are really bad.
That I Don't Well, this one's This is a guy who is recording people in the bathroom. He's a, he was a Central Florida deputy. Surprise his name wasn't Scott Israel. He was arrested for video voyeurism. It was in Tampa.
This guy, his name is Justin D. Bias, and he was a deputy in the DUI unit and illegally recording victims in the bathroom of his residence. Did he have a lot of people over to his house that he would Like who does this? This is some Blueberry Hills stuff. Stop that.
Sorry. Only Kanan is going to get that reference, right? What did that? When was that in the 90s? St.
Louis thing. Yeah, it's the St. Louis thing. It had to do with Chuck Berry and all that. It was a big, bad deal.
I remember being a kid hearing about that, and I was like, ooh. Uh so this guy was charged with video voyeurism. Uh Southwest Florida man was arrested for stealing an antique slot machine. Really? Out of all the things to steal, why that one?
31-year-old Andre Vasquez was caught on camera breaking into an Arcadia truck stop. He stole the slot machine and then deputies initiated a foot chase after he fled. He was apprehended after hiding in a nearby backyard. He had bullet cutters, a backpack, he had a gun. He was a prohibited possessor.
And they got the stolen slot machine. It was an antique slot machine. I don't know what he thought he was going to get out of it. Like, did he think it had money? Did he know that?
I think the antique ones had those, like, silver dollars. Oh, they were still in there? I don't know, maybe. That's kind of dumb. I mean it's they're not still gonna be in there.
Good heavens. It's not Ha ha ha. Uh let's see here. We also have oh I had this one. The guy from the other day, my favorite story still remains the pizzeria guy.
Florida was a little bit quiet this weekend, I have to say. They also had these podcasts. Poachers that stole eight hundred pounds of berries. They were arrested in Hillsborough County. Palmetto Poachers.
That's what they called them. Two months after new regulation, harsh penalties for saw. Palmetto poachers. Uh these two individuals Uh Jeladio Hernandez and Maria Hernandez Santiago they they stole 800 Pounds apparently, these berries can sell for 75 cents a pound. You can get up to 350 or 3.50 a pound.
That's crazy. Stick with us, we've got more in store. You do have to acknowledge people's I mean, there are many neighborhoods in this country that have unacceptable levels of violence. That is just true. True, but you don't have to feed in to the irrational fear that Trump is trying to make people feel.
And it is important to push back on this idea of a migrant crime wave. Um, what is I okay, that's um Who is that? Murphy? That's Murphy. He's PFF suspee.
He's trying to say this idea that a migrant, there's a migrant. I hate the term migrant. That's not Again, I have to say this every time because they won't. We're not talking about people who come into the country legally. We're talking about the people who sneak in across the border.
And who yeah, exactly, traffic kids and drugs and everything else. That's who we're talking about. And I feel like they don't understand the difference between those two because they refuse to acknowledge it. And they do it on purpose because they want to shame you into thinking, well, if you if you support a lawful border entry, then you hate all immigrants. Welcome back to the program.
Dana Lash with you. Your daily your your your living Daria. Uh, top of this third hour. Make sure you go sign up over at Substack. I have a piece that I was working on sending out to subscribers.
It was really smart, I looked, so I stopped it. I did one of those things. I was like, I'm gonna mull it over for a day. I know.
Now you guys are like, no, send it. No, I really needed to mull it over. Where's one of those? You'll get it. Is that sometimes when I hear you typing, I can tell if you're typing mad or if you're not typing mad.
What? Oh, yeah. It's obvious. You're a bad person. Wait a minute.
What does that even mean? I'm in this room all the time with you, every single day of the week. And when you type, and it's just, you know, you're just typing to search things online or whatever, or maybe even an email or something, no big deal. It's just regular old typing, just clickety, clack, clickety, clack on the old keyboard. And then all of a sudden, it's like with all these.
All these keys on the keyboard almost getting damaged and I'm like, what are you? You're clearly hate typing something. What are you doing? Stop doing that. It's not that bad.
Well, I'm actually pretty accurate with the way I just told that story. It's not that bad.
It's a pretty accurate story. Although somebody sends an email that neither of us like and we want to respond back to it, Kane's like, what are you doing? Stop it. What are you doing? Let me respond with kindness.
Let me do it. I still maintain that it's not that bad, but...
So this um Right. I this I so now we've got We've got uh Harris. Waffling on the border. Waffling on the border wall. I'm wondering what else she's going to waffle on.
What else is she gonna flip on? Just, you know, I don't know. She's a.
Now apparently in support of the thing that she said w she was never going to be in support of. Because the issue is so bad, and she's trying to run to the center. There has to be her. Her people must be morons to she's been in this race for a month. And you cannot just rush to the center.
It has to be a gradual move to the center, otherwise it looks like this. I don't know. I mean What is she gonna is she gonna sell uh red hats next? What? I'm waiting.
Is that what she's going to do next? Dying her hair blonde and doing a comb over to the right. If she comes out orange-looking, y'all, then that will be a step too far. It looks like she dove into a Cheetos bag, then that's going to be a step too far. I'm not saying that as a pejorative.
I'm just saying. It won't be orange, it'll be turmeric. term. It's So we'll see. I the I think the really telling thing And this is what what Republicans should do, because we get that spending bill coming up in September.
Deadline for government funding is October 1st, right? And so, in that is the SAVE Act, and the SAVE Act is all about. making sure people who are here illegally can't vote. They should tie her to that and be like, well, if you're really serious, Kamala. Then why don't you support the Save Act?
and see where that is. Support the Save Act, Kamala. I think that would That would go a long way into kind of really forcing her hand here. Really, you say that you want a wall and you say that you're coming to the center on this issue. Prove it.
Just to see what she does. I would be interested in that. See what she does. I don't know. A couple of other things to touch on.
as well. We're gonna immigration. I want to get to some culture here. House races to watch. I'm gonna point this out real quick because the house is really where a lot of this comes down to.
I definitely do not want to lose the house. You got New York's 22nd congressional district. The Hill has a piece out where they're looking at this one is an interesting district because you have. It's a district that went to a Republican. He kept the seat in Republican hands in 2022.
That's Brandon Williams. He took the seat after and replaced John Caco. But it's also a big district. It's it's a toss-up district.
So, it's not a lean right or a lean left. It's a total toss-up district. It includes Syracuse, New York. It's a huge toss-up for Democrats. They could pick it up.
And this is one of the 17 GOP-held districts. Williams' seat. Biden won this district and you got a Republican rep in it. And it's now Cook says it's lean Democrat. Others say it's toss up because it's barely lean Dem.
I think it's a toss up state.
So we'll see. But that's one of the races to watch. You also have the third congressional district in Washington. Where you have a first-term lawmaker, a Democrat. She's going up against a Republican again.
She defeated him in 2022. He beat out then-rep Jamie Herrera. Butler in who's a Republican in the last cycle. One of the things that I think people gotta t uh yeah uh be careful about is uh dumb primaries where you have a strong Republican who's already won, who already beat you. Inter who already leads you in polling, don't replace one strong candidate for a weaker candidate.
So we'll see how this goes. The interesting thing about this is that the district Trump won in 2020 by, I mean, not by a lot at all, but this guy, Uh He it that definitely, I think, makes this a toss up. And that's what Cook Political Report classifies it as. You have New York's 17th congressional district. That's Mondair Jones, who's trying to reclaim his seat in the lower chamber.
He's going up against Mike Lawler, and he's Mike Lawler's first-term Republican. He beat out Mondair Jones. I think that Lawler will probably take it up again. Cook says it's a toss-up, but I think that Lawler is. He's a strong candidate.
I think that he'll retain this race or he'll retain his seat in this race. And then you have uh uh the 8th congressional district in Pennsylvania. Uh this is uh Matt Cartwright, a Democrat. And he Has raised a ton of money, almost six million dollars this cycle. That is uh over double what the Republican Rob Breshnahan has raised.
So that race, they're apparently debating in October. That's This is this is kind of um Uh I think a lean Democrat. District, we'll see Michigan's seventh congressional district also. Alyssa Slockin, the Democrat there. She replaced Debbie Stabenow, and you got Tom Barrett and Curtis Hurdle are facing off in that district, Republican and Democrat, respectively.
That's a toss-up, too. Got to keep the House. It's incredibly important. to keep the house. Otherwise, uh you lose total power of the person and that's it.
I mean, that's really it. There's there's there's there's nothing else from that. And you're gonna get more po bad policy. Uh like c two quick things. Environment.
You'll get more stupid things like this.
So now apparently the is this the EPA? The EPA and all of these other Enviro nuts, they're telling us that you don't really need to have. as much refrigeration as you think you need. And they said that you need to consider the impact that refrigeration was having on the planet. They call it a global cold rush.
It's shape. You don't need a tomato in December. That's what someone said this uh uh This is per Bloomberg. Remember, they've gone after your dish soap, they've gone after your light bulbs, they've gone after all of this. They're recommending oversight of refrigeration.
That's what they would like to see. Um Yes, Kane? Speaking of hate typing. Yeah, I know. Can you hear me?
Hate typing and Pennsylvania did the same thing. They went after this Amish farmer, and they shut it down and took all his food, the whole nine, everything else. And then they realized they couldn't prove that any of the food or any of the stuff they were doing was harming anyone else. And finally, the state on the Supreme Court level had to say, sorry, you were wrong. to do this to them.
Overreach is always the problem, which is why big government is always the subject matter. I mean, people realize that refrigeration preserves food. And prevents things like, oh, I don't know, famine. Right. And even fermentation without.
Any sort of refrigeration is also helpful, but sometimes the government would let us. You remember that story where they raided this raw milk? Oh, yeah, raw some out in LA. Yeah, and they left all of the stuff outside. It was like a shield club.
Yeah, they left it outside for hours and then they decided to test it. And they're like, Look at this, look at all these bad levels of stuff. It's yeah, because you left it outside for hours before you decided to test it. And people signed up newing and they paid a membership fee. They knew what they were getting.
It's not like there was anything. Yeah, it's one of the dumbest things ever. But that's. That doesn't sound like mind your damn business. And then what Tim Walls always says, he says it over and over again.
I think he thinks that that's like an impressive thing. Mind your damn business. Yeah, but. Here you are. Here these are the leftist policies.
Some culture stuff I want to touch on because I want to make sure we're getting. We got Lowe's and DEI coming up.
So there's a lot of hand-wringing over This cancellation. Let me pull this up. The acolyte. I didn't watch this. Did you watch any of this?
No. I didn't watch it. Star Wars the Acolyte. It was cancelled after one season. This is isn't this when you got the f the Uh force babies.
And you had space lesbians? Yeah. It's like space dandy, but space lesbians, lesbians in space. Yeah. They uh it was everyone said it was woke and it was garbage and it was just it was bad and Kathleen Kennedy was a little upset over it and everybody every I mean it she's ruined it.
She's absolutely ruined it.
So the acolyte, it was they were trying to make it They didn't so much focus on the story, they just wanted diversity, and apparently, diversity is just enough of a story. You don't need to really have like a story or a plot or anything like that. I mean, it's just, you know. But the narrative was about. Basically, wasn't it like an all-female coven?
And they use the forest to generate chick babies, little female babies. And then that's how you got the two main characters. Is that what it was? That's what it was. This is like a South Park episode.
And Shockingly, Uh th it was cancelled. Imagine nobody wants to watch a series about a bunch of Uh Woke Super woke. Space witches who have babies with the force. Nobody wanted to watch that.
Now it gets there's more.
So it got canceled, and the staff is reacting, the CASP is reacting to it, and they. They and I don't even know who some of these people are in this cast. But they were they said that they you know they were looking forward to doing a season two and we you know, we just hope we could get further into the series, etcetera. No, nobody cares.
Now Lord of the Rings is apparently going to even further ruin everything because they are trying to make Uh Gladrielle. They're trying to give her a Um Like a romantic story arc with Sauron, which I don't understand this. It is so. Ooh, I could s literally the rest of the show. Yell about this.
First off, Gladriel at this point in her life was already married and had kids, right? In fact, the way that her daughter fell to the evil forces of Middle Earth was one of the things that, you know, kind of actually, I don't want to say tempered her, but in a way, sort of did. You know, she, she, uh, her daughter was never the same after that. I mean, she was not this single, you know, just no responsibility elf that was running around in Middle Earth the way that they want to portray her in Amazon, this Amazon Prime series. And so now, apparently, what they're doing is they want to give her Sauron as a romantic interest, which is one of the dumbest things and totally not canon at all whatsoever.
Why? Why do they got to ship these two? This is stupid. I saw this this morning. I'm like, no, just no.
They said, and they, and of course, they can't even say or spell her name right. They're like, oh, look, Gladrielle and Sauron, they have a cosmic connection. And they were intimating that there was some sort of romantic relationship there towards the end of the last season. And they're trying to say that, oh, well, it's, you know, Gladrielle and Sauron, they're connected by their psyche and there's like a romantic interest. I don't know why they're trying to do this, but they need to stop because she got a man.
A. And it's not Sauron. B. End of And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five. TSA says peanut butter is a liquid.
We said what we said. What? Don't be cute. You're a taxpayer-funded agency. Don't be cute.
They said that peanut butter. This is stupid. By the way, I love the context. They said peanut butter is technically a being plastic, a subset of non-Newtonian fluids. But under ASTM D43959/90, it is classified as a liquid, not a solid.
The TSA considers the nut spread a liquid, but it is unrestricted if it is a sandwich ingredient. It's not a liquid. Is cream cheese liquid? I remember one time I went with my kid's pro tractor. He was doing homework.
We had to go back to Missouri for a family thing. And they did, I swear the agent was like, I need to see that. Protractor. Ask to see it. Literally took it.
I'm not even kidding. Anyway, not all are bad, but.
So I hate having to pay an indulgence because somebody who makes everything about them doesn't get offended. Let's see, an urgent warning over banned herbal tea that's being sold on TikTok. First off, don't buy anything on TikTok. And if you do buy stuff on TikTok, well, you've earned it. There you go.
And supply chain issue causes a shortage of pants for the US Navy. Oh. Stick with us. We got more in store. Make some common sense of the crazy headlines with a Dana Show podcast.
Your on-the-go guide for getting up to speed on today's most important stories. Subscribe on YouTube, Apple, or your favorite podcast platform. My favorite line from Kamala is: she says, if you elect her president, she's going to fix it all on day one. Cambola. I hate to break it to you, but day one was 1,300 days ago.
You've been vice president for three and a half years. What the hell have you been doing during all that time? The message from this crowd and this state of Michigan is: you had your chance, you're failed, and we're not giving you a promotion. I mean, I hope not. I mean, good night.
They'd be nobody wants to see that gosh. It's too close for comfort. with a lot of the surveys. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you.
We're at the bottom of this. Uh third hour. And I'm This I was reading this piece from Mediaite. On break, actually. Came out while we were on air.
just a little bit ago. Tim Walls has in-depth discussion about Gutters on popular TikTok show. The most neglected part of home ownership, says the guy who doesn't literally even own a home. Uh he was on this this series called Subway Takes. And he was talking about gutter maintenance.
And they ask people for a hot take about something that's controversial or unpopular and they go on for like a minute and I don't know. And she go and so he talked about gutters being neglected. That's an actual thing that they discussed. I'm going to put this in Slack because this just literally just hit a little bit ago. And he says, yes, you know, it's gutters when he's talking about home ownership.
You don't even own a home. You already own one. This guy does I mean, I don't know what accomplishments he's had in life. He he's somehow uh succeeded in convincing people to put him on the government teat. And He's like, Yeah, you gotta get up on a ladder and uh You know.
get leaves in the gutter. This is what they're actually talking about. on this. Yeah, go ahead and play it. I hate TikTok.
It's just brain rot. All of this is brain rot. And they get stuck in the gutter. The leaves get stuck in the gutter. I've seen many a man fall off the ladder.
Many a man, seriously. Many a man fall off the ladder. But there's a fix. You can put a gutter helmet over the top of it. A gutter helmet?
It covers it, it lets the water go through, keeps it out of your house. I see this all the time. How often do you like looking at gutters? I look quite often, surprisingly, because I can't judge. I try not to be judgmental on people, but when I see a well-tended gutter, it says a lot about somebody.
What's better a well-tended gutter? When I see a well-tended gutter.
So Does he just call the st the staff at the governor's mansion to check for him 'cause he doesn't own his own house? Is that what it is? Gwen's too busy smelling the burning fires or smelling the burning buildings and tire fires. She's too busy smelling the The the raising of democracy. That's what she's too busy doing that.
I I don't know. I um Uh I'm just Yeah.
Okay.
And then you have Kamala Harrow's out there saying that she's saved for years to buy a home. Home ownership is out of reach for too many Americans without explaining why. Just that it is. Doesn't say why, just that it is. It is, but they don't know why.
It just is. She says when I'm president we'll end the housing shortage by building three million homes in rentals. By the government.
So this is Sounds like uh the projects. That's what it sounds like. We're gonna build more projects. That's what it sounds like, right, Kane? Tampons in every gutter.
That's right. We're going to put tampons, all those projects are going to have gutters, and we're going to have tampons in all of them. There you go. Solutions. $25,000.
And And I don't know what who's I mean, we're paying for it obviously. How are they going to build them? With what? Oh, magic. That's what they're gonna do.
It's going to build these houses with magic. Why didn't they? It's almost like she was, if only she had been vice president for the past four years. If only she was in a position where she could have done something about it. in the past five years.
She's I mean I can't make this up. Oh, let me talk about the EVs real quick. I had this on my.
So the campaign and all of the stuff that she's trying to walk away from. Whether it's immigration or whether it is, you know, it's building the wall or whether she's, you know. She's walking away from everything, uh confiscating guns.
Now She's trying to say that she doesn't support the mandate for electric vehicles. Yeah. But Dana, didn't she co-sponsor the Zero Emissions Vehicle Act of 2019? And it literally within it? was requiring manufacturers.
to sell only those vehicles which were zero emissions by the year of twenty forty.
Well, yes, little Dana, in my head, yes, that that is what happened. But now it's She can just say that's not where she is anymore, and not have to explain why. And the media is like, She never said that. She never said the earlier stuff. What are you talking about?
I don't know why I sound like Mickey Mouse, but I just do. Right? She supported it. Her campaign email came out. Uh they sent out uh apparently her director of rapid rapid response And they're they are trying to say that people are lying about her.
in her position on E V mandates. Uh and gaslight about Evie midnights, except From her own 2019 climate plan, remember the Cash for Clunkers program? that Obama did that was a disaster. She wants a new one. She wants a new and improved cache for clunkers.
with incentives for cars to be replaced with zero emission vehicles manufactured in America and extra targeted assistance for low and middle class income families. She thinks that the best way to establish American auto innovation is to have the government pay for it and force you into doing it. Wow. She wanted an accelerated model of then Senator Merkley's Zero Emission Vehicles Act. 50% of all new passenger vehicles sold have to be zero emission by 2030, and 100% are Are zero emission by 2035, and then they can only sell zero emission by 2040.
That was literally her plan. But she didn't say it. What are you guys talking about? These are this is uh Now she's trying to run away from it. You know why?
Because it sounds crazy AF. It is crazy. This is crazy But It didn't pass. And uh as vice president, they didn't Pass through that. They passed through some plans and they wanted this, you know, a couple of things here and there, but I don't really know what they did the past four years.
when they were in the White House. I really don't know. Phew!
So I am uh Got this, you got the housing. We're just gonna build houses with out of you know the ether, apparently. We're going to do that. Wall Street Journal also confirmed That She's going to allow the tax cuts to expire. And this new piece.
Yeah, well we knew that. We we did.
So She hasn't at least tried to run away from that yet. Because she thinks that that was just all for the rich. These people have no idea how any of this stuff works. She thinks it was just all for the rich, which it wasn't. I.
I mean, we have the I c W I wish the media would say, Wait a minute, why are you saying now? That you Are you not in favor of an EV mandate? When here's literally your plan with your name on it, talking about how you're in favor of an EV mandate. I mean, when we play that audio of John Carl, who was he talking to? Tom Cotton yesterday.
And he made up out of nowhere her position of moderating on the border. And how she had never been for you know, she had never been for like an open board or any of this. And and he had said, Yeah, she she, you know, she had changed her mind about this stuff a long time ago. She never had he you have Jonathan Carl literally making up political positions so that he can try to look like he's besting. Tom Tom Cotton in a debate about Kamala Harris's positions.
Good night.
So I don't know. Our media is garbage. Our media is absolute garbage. Yeah, it is absolute garbage. I'm gonna hate type.
I'm gonna hate type. Speaking of the wall, really quickly, one more flashback. Audio Soundbite 19. Remember, now she now she wants a wall, but remember Remember this one? This issue is about a vanity project for this president.
And It is a problem. of his own making. And listen, when I travel this country, folks have plenty enough problems that they need their president to focus on instead of a wall that, by the way, because I was a prosecutor for many years, including the Attorney General of California, I specialize on transnational criminal organizations. That wall ain't gonna stop them. No.
Oh god. Because she's a Democrat and it's D different. Plus all the data that has ever been published on the before and after when there's a wall erected. At the border, shows an incredible decrease in crossing when that happens. The data proves that walls work.

Let's see. So. Uh we got this this The Secret Service story. Where I'm going to pull this up. There are a lot of questions.
About the information regarding everything that happened in Butler County. Because you know, you had members of Congress that went out there and they were checking out the grounds of every place of the where it all happened. And they had a I think when you visited, it seems like they had a lot more questions than they even had going into it. And a lot of people have been talking about a top-down investigation. I don't know why people need to keep going out.
to the grounds. and touring them. In order to come to an understanding that you got a clean house and it's got to start at the top. And it can't just be Kimberly Cheadle has to resign. It didn't start or end with Kimberly Cheadle.
By the way, you know she gets Secret Service protection? You didn't know that. Cheeto? She gets Secret Service protection, apparently. Right now, I don't know.
Don't know. Anyway. But The The fact that information is so slow in getting out there, and this was such a historical thing, the left doesn't want to talk about it. They don't want to reference it. I mean, you had, they keep talking about J6, J6, but let's talk about the fact that you had this leftist that tried to kill a president.
And not a lot of information coming out about it. And some people are saying that, okay, it looks like some congressmen are suggesting that there's been a cover-up. And his parents apparently uh this killer's parents They apparently brought that hired this uh uh Law firm. A very formidable law firm because it looks like they're anticipating criminal charges. to me because of the type of law firm that they hired.
They didn't just like, you know, hire a regular they hired a law firm that that looks as though it's going to be that this firm deals with a lot of like civil suits and personal injury and things like that. And so And as Kane said, Kane, state this because I think this is a great point. Apparently, we're just supposed to believe that this 20-year-old mentally ill kid somehow outsmarted the entirety. of Secret Service. Yeah.
Yeah, this is 20 year old. was able to best all of them. No. Able to figure it all out and best all of them. That's apparently what happened.
Crazy how, yeah, crazy how that happens. But there are a lot of questions that remain. Why is it taking so long to get information? Why did it take so long to like suspend people? Why is there any kind of questions as to whether or not there was somebody else involved?
That's the other thing. I mean, do they think somebody else was involved? Did they think that somebody was helping him to plan? I do think it's weird that all of a sudden his body just disappeared so fast. That's kind of odd.
Ten days they cremated it. I don't know. I mean, it just got a lot of questions here. And the fact that they're not forthright with the answers and they're not being transparent with the public, that's just, that's what's perpetuating all of this. That makes, and then you can't blame people for asking questions.
You can't get mad at them for asking questions. I mean, seriously, you're. I mean there's there's They have every right to ask this stuff. when you drag your feet and you just make people more suspicious by not being more forthright about it. A couple of other things.
to touch on. Have you been following, let's see. This I'm gonna. We'll be talking about the border issue tonight. I'm scheduled to be on with Jesse Waters tonight on Fox to talk about this border flip-flop with Kamala Harris, although she may have flopped away and.
Already made a different decision. Who knows? One last story to touch on: the Lowe's story. This is a cultural story. They are apparently stepping away from DEI.
Harley-Davidson said that they are stepping away from DEI commitments. uh and apparently Lowe's. Said that they're wrapping up their DEI efforts. I don't even know why Lowe's was involved in DEI. I mean, you sell.
literally like home improvement products. And Appliances. I don't get it. They said that they're no longer going to participate in the survey process for the Human Rights Campaign and Alphabet Group. They're going to consolidate its business resource groups.
They're not going to push into DEI anymore. That's what they've stated.
Okay.
I'll believe it when I see it. The human rights campaign, a lot of these companies have had to work with them. They get like shamed into working with them. They have Harris Walsh merchandise on their website. Not a conflict at all.
Yeah. All right, today's stupidity, Kane. All right, this one is the Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson.
Now, believe it or not, she's a Democrat. She's saying stuff like: now, first of all, before you play this one. Keep in mind that when you, as an election certifier, see wrongdoing, it's your job to point it out. But listen to what she says here. If someone were to violate the law and not certify the election at the local level, we will come for you.
So, any local certifier thinking of skirting the law and not certifying the vote, don't even think about it. That sounds good. Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, am I supposed to be threatened because I'm more threatened by her asymmetrical top under her jacket than I am anything that she just said there? It's authoritarian and by my definition. Your Express top does not go with your Jacqueline Smith jacket.
Don't. But yeah. Communism equals stupid. Yeah, there you go. All right, folks, that does it for us today.
I'll be on Waters World, Primetime Jesse Waters, tonight and top of the hour. And then make sure that you go and find us over at Substack Chapter Inverse, Facebook, YouTube, like and subscribe. Back tomorrow.
