They're compensated on equity in the bank, stock and stock options. And so the classic case that you've just seen is two failures, which these managers weren't bad managers. They were idiots.

So if you think about Silicon Valley Bank, it was run like a hedge fund, a poorly run hedge fund, and signature, I don't know what that was. That's like a Saturday night cartoon. But you're going to get more and more of this because these banks are under tremendous pressure to be able to compete against what's going on with behemoths. It is only appropriate that we begin the A Saint Patrick's Day version of the Dana Show Today with Kevin O'Leary from the Shark Tank. I love this dude.

Some people think he's completely heartless, but hey, that's tough love. When I think tough love, I think Kevin O'Leary. From the Shark Tank. Yeah, talking about all these, you know, Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank going belly up. Which, by the way, in the news, uh, looks like Signature got a A hefty deposit from fellow banks that don't want to see signature go belly up.

Welcome to the Dana Show, Amigo. I'm Sergio Sanchez and for my friend Dana Lash. And Lord willing, she'll be back with us on Monday, refreshed and ready to go and tackling the day's news. Meantime, you stay with us, man. I got lots of great information to share with you today.

And happy St. Patrick's Day. Just thinking about it, as it could look, it. Am I wrong? Is it like we only have, like, I know every month has a different cultural, you know.

Swing to it. Like, you know, we just came off of black history, and my thoughts are, you know. Great shows and authors and movie stars and people, folks in history. But when it comes to a day of celebration, right? I say on our calendar, on our American calendar, of course, obviously very unique to us.

Uh Saint Patrick's Day. Celebrating pretty much everything Irish culture. The other one. Cinco de Mayo, right? Celebrating May, all right?

So, those are the only two. Am I forgetting something? I was thinking, I got a lot of information. For several hours, I've been. I was thinking, well, it's only St.

Patrick's Day and only Cinco de May, right? The Irish and then the Mexicans. And I've said before, looking at history and looking at all the dirty work that the Irish did, two, three, three plus generations ago when a whole bunch of them came to our country, all the dirty work. From rail lines to factories to plumbing, putting down sewer lines, whatever was it that was manual labor, right? Is the Irish coming over compared to the other.

maybe more Fufi Europeans, the well-to-do that that came over. But during that big migration rush to this country when we needed the labor industry was expanding massively. And we needed all these warm bodies to go to the factories and assembly lines. And a different time in America, but it was capitalism firing all the cylinders. And you know, the wrestling back and forth between labor and, of course, the ownership, all these various industries, the Irish, the Irish.

I call them the Mexicans of Europe because they were doing all the dirty work, much like you see today. And it's just not just Mexicans, by the way. It's other people from the Americas, from Central America, and other places on the Western Hemisphere. Folks Then I will celebrate Only celebrate. Because we need to do things in a lawful way, in a controlled, migratory way.

Mm-hmm. I celebrate, like, for example, my parents. I was in under whew, man, is it Long time ago, more than a generation ago. Yeah. My parents my dad specifically.

They waited more than ten years for a chance to get a green card, work permit through family, start a business. I think it was initially trucking, they did something like that. Mom and dad naturalized. I think I was like twelve years old when they naturalized. Yeah.

When I moved to the U.S. with my parents, my dad wanted to get us out of Mexico as quickly as possible. He hated all the corruption. There's corruption everywhere, but in Mexico, it has a particular stench to it. It's awful.

Things are worse now than ever before. Don't you dare believe, you guys in the Midwest, up northeast, don't you dare believe what Amlo, Andrés Manuel Lopez, saying his poop don't stink. Mexico's poop don't stink. Mexico is rife with Mexico is a corrupt, failed state. It's a narco-state.

It is what it is. As much as he wants to blame the U.S., you guys got crime too, and you guys stink. And people aren't saying, shut up. My dad wanted to get us out of Mexico as quickly as possible. He had to wait over a decade for that.

And I thank God for my dad's vision, like many, like millions. But man, he paid his dues, paid his fees, State Department fees, attorney fees, whatever he had to do, took that test, did everything. And thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for opening up that door. I'm forever grateful because.

I was thinking about this last time, man. My life's path. That would have been very different. Had I been forced to stay in Mexico. And my my dad always believed in education.

He pushed me really hard. I'm sure I would have attained some great career down there. I never would have learned English, at least to the point where I'm able to host a national talk show and talk to you, Amigo. And for me, when I moved to when my parents moved to the Houston area, Metro Houston area. Jay Nosa, Mexico, here across the river from McAllen's, where I grew up as a boy and was preteen.

Man, I didn't know a lick of English. I'm not kidding. I did not at all. And I watched the ABC from the Mexican side. I watched the U.S.

side. ABC affiliates, CBS affiliates. I don't know who had it, but the $6 million man. I loved all those shows. I used to watch American TV, but I didn't learn any American.

I didn't learn any English. It didn't stick on me even at school when they were trying to teach it to me at that little Catholic private school my dad sent me to. And I thank God for all of his efforts in bringing me to the U.S. Yeah. It was sink or swim.

When he made it to South East Houston area, which is the working man's part of town, where the refineries are, Eventually became a manager at one of those scaffolding outfits out there. And God bless the families. who um hired him and appreciated his work and his Mexican ingenuity and Uh Well here I am. After so many years, I was sink or swim, but I had to learn English. And I thank my teachers that.

Sending me to the library every single day. No half-day Spanish, no half-day English. No, you learn flashcards, flashcards, flashcards. Within six months, speak it within. A year writing it proficiently.

That's the way things should be in education. Anyway, back to the whole Irish and Mexican thing: the Irish have St. Patrick's Day. Here in our country, we celebrate Mexicans with Cinco de Mayo. And you know what?

Mexicans don't give a flu. To them, cinco de Mayo, ain't nothing. It's just the 5th of May. Oh, yeah, really? Victory French over the French in Pueblo.

Oh, okay, great. To them, it's their 4th of July is in September. It's the 16th of September. It's just a drinking holiday. It's all it is.

St. Patrick's Day. It's just a. It's another excuse to Drake. And never will you hear.

At least from all my family, all my and when I say family, My conservative Patriotic brethren, all you guys midwest, northeast, west, left, lost coast, all of you who love America. You are my brothers and sisters. Yeah, guys up there up up northeast. I've never heard a single Irish heritage, lineage person complain about cultural appropriation. Have you?

No, right? 'Cause it it's on Saint Saint Patrick's Day.

Well anybody who has an Irish name Uh last name, everybody's proud. Wants everybody else, all other Americans, whether Chinese, Mexican, Indian, wherever you guys are from. They want all of us to be Irish for a day. Eat some shepherd's pie, enjoy some, you know, some green beer. I don't drink beer, but you know what I mean.

Never again, never A complaint, a squeal, a cultural appropriation. You can't do that. You're not Irish. No, we're sprout. Same thing with Mexico.

And the Mexicans. Cinco de Mayo, 5th of May. Mexicans don't care. Yeah, yuck it up. You guys have fun.

Drink some more margaritas. Drink some more ta cate. Dose ekis. Knock yourself out. Again, that's another excuse to drink.

The only ones that are whining, complaining. cultural appropriation, especially when it comes to like the like the Mexican culture, right? The charo hats, mariachi hats. The zarapes, you know, the the big old blanket with a hole in the middle, you know, colorful blanket you put, you know, over your head, cover the front and back of your body. And one of the funniest videos.

And you've probably seen it on social media. It's a little experiment, these conservative folks out there. God bless them, these kids going to college campus and interviewing other kids. And is it right? And they ask these college kids, these little.

Cultural appropriation, no-nothings, ano-retentive little cultural Karens on college campuses across the country think they're virtual signaling and doing a good thing by protecting the Mexican culture, Latino culture, and keeping it only with the Latinos. Shut up. I'm very proud when all these hueritos, all these white people are starting wearing chato hats and serapes and celebrate Mexico. That's in my blood, it's part of my culture. I'm American first, but I do not.

Shy away. I am not ashamed of the beauty of the culture of Mexico. It's okay, it's delicious. And it's m beautiful. Anyway.

Yes, college kids, these anoretic little carrions, these culture carrions on college campuses. In fact, the guys, I think the guys wearing like a set up in a character, hey, is it okay for me as a white guy to be wearing this stuff? And all these kids, all these little cultural carry-ons on college campuses, no, that's right, that's wrong. That's cultural appropriation. You shouldn't be, you have no right to be wearing these.

Symbols of Mexican culture. Yeah, you are white. You have no right to be wearing any of that. That same person wearing the Sadapi and the chattel hat will go down the street to. Maybe the other side of the tracks, where more modest families live.

You know, Mexican families, immigrant families. Especially the Mexican, take the same microphone and ask: hey, are you offended? Because I'm wearing this. Charu head, because I'm wearing this zarappi. Every single Mexican, so proud, genuine Mexican, who recently arrived first, second generation.

Celebrate. Yeah, thank you, but you look great. Congratulations, you look awesome. I'm so proud that you're wearing all these symbols of Mexico. We're doing it to ourselves.

on the on these campuses. These these colleges that are supposed to be accepting of all ideas, a universal point of view, that take everything in. We got to reclaim our campuses. We need to reclaim. College academia.

We need to reclaim our youth. We need to get back to loving, caring for each other, celebrating cultures, and not being so interretentive. And start crying and complaining about cultural appropriation.

So happy St. Patrick's Day. Be like the Irish, be like all Irish. Celebrate the Irish, celebrate all cultures. No whining, no complaining today.

Just Go have some shepherd's pie, and if you guys drink. Go have a beer. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to the Dana Show. And for you guys listening on the weekend on the recorded version, yeah, I've been broadcasting this show today on St.

with Doctor Heidi Overton. She's with America First. She's a Ph D, she's a Medical doctor, very familiar with the abortion pill debate for him. for several years now. What is the true driver of this lawsuit by conservatives here in Texas that might, I don't know, might deep six that abortion pill?

That's one of the pending stories out there in the waves waiting for a decision. Also, that conversation coming up in the next segment of the Dana Show. All right, Valen, let's do some headlines. And now, all of the news you would probably miss: it's time for Dana's Quick Vive, brought to you by Keltech. America's biggest banks, some of them, came in to help rescue, provide some reinforcement, some financial underpinnings for First Republic Bank.

Several banks deposited a total of thirty billion dollars into the First Republic. You see, there was a run on that bank, depositors taking billions of dollars out.

So, this deal was put together by Janet Yellen. Treasury Secretary, also Jerome Powell, the Fed chair, got involved in all this. Ford is recalling more than a million vehicles. There's a brake hose issue. Heads up.

It's the Dana Show. The President appointed regulators over the past two years to reverse the changes that we saw in the last administration. But again, Congress needs to act. As far as the $250,000 deposit insurance limit, we have more to say on the specific regulatory changes in the next few days. I'm not going to get ahead of what the regulators are going to decide moving forward.

All right, FDIC, $250,000 insurance. You pay into, by the way, all those fees, the banks are paying into that. You're paying into that. And they get the money back from all the fees that they charge you. Welcome to the Dana Show.

I'm in for my friend Dana Lash. I'm Sergio Sanchez. And for me, always an honor to talk with you all. And if you want to engage in that conversation, Sergio at KURV.com or at Sergio Talk. The studio here in South Texas, I refer to as the Dana Show, Southern Command.

We're in the RGV of Texas, right here on the border. And I got plenty of border stuff to talk about later in the show. Stick around, including a conversation I had with our Republican Yes, believe it or not, Republican Congresswoman. From deep South Texas. Heads up, Pennsylvania.

Heads up Wisconsin, Michigan, all you swing states out there. Virginia And you guys can vote for conservatives as well. If we could do it here in South Texas. I see no reason why you guys can't try to save America with more liberty-minded individuals. I'm not here to wave the flag for the Republican party.

Nobody is perfect. But I tell you what, compared to A gen just a generation ago. Man, it was so true what Ronnie Reagan said. Man, we're just about a generation away from losing it all. Yeah, we graduated a bunch of dumb kids from.

From high school A bunch of leftists Quasi-communist Marxist apologists From universities, we We have been losing our country. We are losing our country. It's time to turn things around. More liberty-minded mindset is what we need, and that's what you need to test. when you get all these politicians running for office, are they are they a bunch of statists in Republican garb?

Or do they believe in liberty? Do they believe that, for example, banks that make stupid decisions like Kevin O'Leary said at the top of the program, And that Silicon Valley Bank was run by a bunch of idiots. Yeah, let them fail. Let them go up. Let them sell whatever assets they have left: their desks, their chairs, their staplers, whatever else that they can make money off.

Let them fail. No more too big to fail. No more government subsidy. See, government goes in there and screws things up in the beginning, right? I mean, this is this whole Mortgage crisis back in 2008, what gave us Obama at the end of the Bush administration.

One of the most Absolutely asinine quotes ever by any politician. Unfortunately, I have to peg. And W, George W. Bush.

So disappointing. Man, like 25 years ago. Just bright-eyed little reporter here in South Texas, a little old me. When George W. Bush was thinking of running for the president, followed him around and got to meet him, all these press conferences he did all over Texas, around here in South Texas.

I can't believe I almost I almost sold everything to just be part of the press pool up in Washington, D.C. I can't believe thank you, Jesus, for closing the doors and giving me a much higher paying job here in South Texas. One of the most Ridiculous quotes. Unfortunate quotes. Attributed again.

can be attributed to George W. We gotta abandon. Free market principle. To save their Free market. Right.

One of the most stupid comments I've ever heard. Yeah. Government gets in there, forces all these banks' institutions. Yeah, you don't try to be. for equity's sake, before the whole ar equity argument, for fairness' sake to allow all these Americans who cannot afford to lower the standard, lower the bar, just send out all these markets everywhere, all this All these Papers, all these notes that cannot be backed up by anything.

Just allow anybody to. Attain 300, 400, 5,000. $500,000 loan. We went belly up the Morrigance industry, sank a bunch of banks. Yeah, and George W.

out there saying, We got to ban in free market principles. But The government intrusion, the government meddling, the government forcing all of these rules and the lowering of standards for all of these mortgages to be given to all these individuals, all these thieves. That's not the free market. Free market principles were abandoned. That led to that mortgage crash, to the banking crash back in 2008.

There's no similarity whatsoever now with this Silicon Valley Bank. There's a bunch of billionaires playing with their money. 90% of that was all these people playing with their money, and they lost. Let them fail. Don't save them.

You got Korean Jean-Pierre there talking about Increasing the $250,000. A maximum would be given back. to any bank holder. $2,000 $250,000? That standard was set back in 2006.

If you adjust for inflation dollars today, it's north of $370,000. FYI.

So yeah, it's coming. They're probably going to raise that minimum amount. We have a lawsuit here in Texas that might be sinking a very popular abortion pill. And we're I'm waiting for a decision up in the Texas panel on this. I had a conversation.

From America First Policy Institute, someone who's been watching this for several years, Dr. Heidi Overton. What's taking place at the Texas Panhandle Court? You know What's in the news related to that abortion pill that's under fire right now from America First Policy Institute? I welcome Dr.

Heidi Overton. She's a medical doctor and has a PhD in clinical investigation from Johns Hopkins. She's been looking at this issue for a long, long time. For working people tuning into the radio right now, Dr. Overton, set the stage.

Tell me the backstory to this and what might happen at that West Texas area court. Thank you, Sergio. Great to be with you. You bet. You know, this case i brings up really interesting um The entire history really of mifopristone, which is the chemical abortion drug in the United States, it was approved by the FDA in 2000.

And the case that's being heard in the Northern District of Texas right now raises questions about whether that drug should have been approved at that time in 2000, but then also raises questions about previous FDA actions in 2016, 2019, 2021. and twenty twenty three, all with questions of was the SEA appropriate in approving the medication considering the safety considerations of the medication? We've gone more than two decades now that this mefopristone has been on the market, has been flushing babies out of all these uteruses for all these years. Why now is this fight being taken up? Because we see a potential victory at the High Court, a more conservative high court that kicked out bad law, did away with Roe v.

Wade. Sir, over the course of these 20 years, we've seen the FDA and all of their decisions remove restrictions on mefopristone, making it to where women now can take it in a fully virtual environment without ever seeing a physician. But what's important to know about this case is there was a citizen's petition in 2002 to the FDA to ask some of these initial safety questions that went unanswered for 14 years. The FDA did not respond until 2016 to some of the initial safety concerns.

So I think what's being highlighted in this case is the length of time at which this question has been asked by advocates and professionals, doctors asking questions about if it's really safe for women. You know, what I've really studied, though, is what's happened in the past two years where additional regulations after COVID made it possible, like I said, to have fully virtual What we call abortion on demand, Skype abortions, telehealth abortions, where women never see a doctor in person and get an in-person evaluation, that's where you see the real safety risk. We've seen some recent data that one in five chemical abortions have complications. And a lot of times those complications are much more common later in pregnancy. The first is accurate dating of the pregnancy.

And one of the best ways to do that is by ultrasound. But seeing a doctor in person can help accurately date the pregnancy, make sure that it's an intrauterine pregnancy, it's not an ectopic pregnancy, which ectopic pregnancy is contraindicated in that case. And so it really is about the safety of the woman to see the doctor, make sure that it's clinically appropriate for them to receive the medication, look at their RH status, which is really big implications for future pregnancies if it's missed. And so that's what the FDA has removed in the past two years. And so the big question for me is.

Additional safety protections for women and in-person evaluations guarantee clinical appropriateness. And our focus in this time after the Dobbs decision should really be about protecting women. From America First Policy Institute, Dr. Heidi Overton has been looking at the mephopristone issue for the longest time.

Now, this is in a panhandle, Texas panhandle court, and a judge might be deciding up or down whether this will continue in the market. Can you explain how methopristone works? Is it in combination with another drug? What does it do inside the body? Can you quickly explain?

Usually there's a two-drug regimen for a chemical abortion. Mefopristone is the first medication. It blocks a naturally occurring hormone progesterone. That disrupts the endometrial lining. Essentially, it deprives the baby that's growing of oxygen, nutrients.

That would be needed for continued growth. And that causes separation from the uterus. And then the second drug, misopristol, causes contraction of the uterus to expel the baby.

So those are the the two drugs that are usually used. And so Mifopristone really it it disrupts that naturally occurring hormone that allows pregnancy to continue. Where do you think this case is? Yeah, go ahead. Tell me about the risk a bit more.

Go ahead. No, I'm just, you know, I'm just so the risk is, especially if. If misthopristone is taken later in pregnancy than it should be, you have a higher risk of hemorrhage, of really heavy bleeding, cramping. And we've seen in a recent study that there's a greater risk of needing an emergency visit following a chemical abortion than a surgical abortion. And so that's what's really, again, in these past two years where you're seeing more and more of this in fully virtual environments without seeing a physician that there's greater risk to women.

If the RH status is not appropriately handled, that could cause harm for future pregnancies, future babies. Um but really it's it's a risk of of hemorrhage or or major bleeding that would cause a need to go to an emergency room. You know, I can't speak to the decision the judge might make, but I think this is an important question that we need to be asking as Americans of what is the information, what do we know, what does the FDA kind of use to make these decisions, and are we appropriately protecting women? That should be the main focus, making sure that women are protected. And that we can save as many lives as possible.

But also, states have put in additional safety protections.

Something that states can consider doing is requiring in-person ultrasound visits. To again make sure that They're protecting the lives of women in these scenarios.

So I think we're going to continue to see Americans and their elected representatives ask questions about the best way to, in the post-Dobbs world, make sure that we're protecting the two lives that are at stake, the baby and the woman. Yeah, and we've been here before. The argument. What right does a single individual or a judge or a court have? They have no medical expertise in making decisions like this.

I think if you look at it from the perspective of forcing the medical agencies or experts to do their job and properly inform the public, properly inform women in this case, I guess that would be the better argument to make sure that women are completely informed, make proper decisions on these drugs. That's exactly right, Sergio. That should be our goal. 10-4. And I think in this environment, we are the FDA, the main goal of the FDA is to protect safety.

And so that's what these questions, that's what this court case, as well as other action happening in the state and the federal government, that's what folks are asking for. We have senators that have asked questions about this. We have state representatives that are asking questions.

So our goal should be, again, we should seek to protect the two lives at stake, the woman and the baby. We should make sure we have the proper safety protections for women. And one way to do that is, again, I think to require the in-person evaluations to determine the clinical appropriateness.

So that should be our focus in all of these conversations. Thank you, Dr. Overton from America First Policy Institute. Dr. Heidi Overton.

And this is the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Sanchez, and for my friend Dana, reporting to you from her southern command in South Texas. Stick around, got lots of information and some breaking news within the past hour or so.

Some movement on the potential for Finland getting NATO admissions. What's going on? I'll explain next on the Dana Show. I've talked a lot about the Keltech KSG shotgun over the years, and it's no secret how much I love it. It's become the go-to shotgun for law enforcement and home defense, and for a really good reason.

But why am I such a huge fan of the Keltech KSG?

Well, like everything that Keltech invents, it created an entirely new class of shotgun, and the one that started it all is the KSG shotgun. It's the first 12-gauge pump-action shotgun chambered for three-inch shells, and with its dual-tube mags, it offers a capacity of 12 plus 1.

So that's 6 rounds in each tube, plus 1 chambered. If you prefer 2 and 3/2 inch shells, even better, because the KSG holds 7 plus 7 plus 1. That's 15 shells. You cannot ignore the downward shell ejection either. It makes the KSG truly ambidextrous and ejects shells away from your face.

It's a brilliant design. See the Keltech KSG up close and personal at KeltechWeapons.com. That's K-E-L-T-E-C-Weapons.com. Again, to find out more, visit Keltechweapons.com. Red meat, black coffee, truth-telling.

The Dana Show. Broadcasting today's program from the Dana Show Southern Command at the KURV Affiliate Studios in McAllen, Texas. McAllen Browns.

Well, that's the RGV. Thank you so much for joining us. And if you want to say hello online, it's Sergio at kurv.com. Sario at kurv.com. On Twitter, it's at Sergio Talk.

So stick around. Coming up in a couple of segments, next hour of the program. Reaction to the fact that we had Homeland Security sit-down of Powwow with lawmakers. It's all Republican, though. This week, in fact, yesterday, day before, we had all these lawmakers come down here and talk with Border Patrol, and they had a sit-down talk about all sorts of border issues, border lack of border security issues here on my border.

Sadly, not a single Democrat U.S. House Representative, they belong to that committee, but not a single one. Have the courage to or even the love of country. to come down here and talk about this.

So that's a reaction to that from Our Congresswoman, Republican Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz, coming up later in the show. I'll tell you what she thinks. And that's right, as I said earlier on the program. Yeah, here in South Texas, deep blue Democrat country. They voted a Republican in, contributed to that.

If we can do that down here, you guys in Michigan? You guys in Wisconsin? You guys in Pennsylvania? You get the point. Look for liberty-minded individuals, rule-of-law individuals, people who love capitalism, free markets, liberty.

Find those people. You're not going to find a single one of those on the Democrat side, I guarantee you. Finland and their admission into NATO getting a big boost. 'Cause a big opponent to Finland getting into NATO. Turkey is saying, yeah, they're okay with it now.

Whereas uh F Finland and and Sweden both applied for membership in NATO. As a result of Russia, you know, Vladimir Putin going into Ukraine.

So Finland's bid. And not completely, sure right now, but anyway, Turkey is moving out of the way and saying at least Finland they can go in there. They folks in Turkey are not happy with the Swedes. Because, well, they say that some of these Kurdistan Workers' Party members are being housed in Sweden. I'm Sergio Sanchez.

You've heard from Maorkis on this. Do the work, Secretary Maorkis, on this. Do the work to continue to do that. Secretary Maorkis, man, that dude doesn't... has no idea what's going on.

Hey, welcome to hour two of the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Yosanchis in for my friend Dana Lash. And happy St. Patrick's Day, top of the morning to you. I guess we're affiliates carrying us on.

On the west coast, yeah, it's still mourning out there somewhere. Carrange on Pierre. I just. I was telling producer of Alan, I feel so bad for KJP. You know, it's bad enough that the gig is really, really hard.

I'm sure being a White House press person, I probably couldn't do that. I mean, I have a hard enough time just trying to balance the mounds and mounds of information that's fascinating and regurgitating to you as best I can in an entertaining fashion. I hope you like it. I try to catch up with the day's news, but man, she's got like deep issues and Every now and then a reporter will throw a gem of a question and have a conversation or try to force an honest conversation on the issue. It can't be a fun gig.

It can't be an easy gig doing the White House press thing. But man, she just comes off she just looks. I hate to say it, just dumb. I I know she's not a dumb person. She didn't get get that gig 'cause she's dumb.

It's just the people she works for. They're idiots. They really are. Joe Biden, a blithering idiot. And congratulations to all you Democrats who voted this clown in or cast your vote and stuff the ballots, whatever you did to turn certain counties around overnight and get them voted in.

Oh my goodness. We're going to secure the border. Working with Secretary Alex Mayorkas at DHS. We're going to secure the border. He d Ms.

Corrine, Ms. Sean Pierre. He don't want to secure the border. Joe Biden doesn't secure the border. Window dressing.

Maybe do a little kabuki dance. Get you distracted. Maybe talk a good game. And it's important to talk a good game because talking a good game and maybe doing a quick visit, Joe Biden, to West Texas, El Paso, Texas. You know, the place that has been getting flooded with all sorts of immigrants from the Americas and also from China and Ukraine, all these people coming across the border.

flooding El Paso, Texas. There was an incident this past week, in case you didn't hear, and I don't blame you if you didn't hear it, because we got way too much corporate media, big New York-based media. Journalism malpractice. Every single day they don't properly inform you. We had a run on the border, a big bridge over in El Paso, Texas, this past weekend.

Somehow, the. Folks got information, probably a lie from the cartels, that it was Immigration Day or Immigrant Day on the U.S. They were going to open up. And a whole bunch of people ran on the bridge, and authorities had to shut it down and put barriers. It was just.

Just another example of how ridiculous things are on the border. Secretary Alex Mayorkas. Miss KJP. Again, I feel so bad for you because you have to put a face and represent these idiots. Secretary Alex Mayorkas.

He believes That Okay, Operationally speaking, the border is secure. They have operational control of the border. We shared all that audio with you already. It's made their own. Or my Border Patrol Chief.

And I say my board of trade, he's my friend. Graul Ortiz. He used to be our chief here in South Texas. You can imagine here, News Talk Philly here in South Texas.

Well, I've had plenty of conversations with. Chief, I call him lovingly Kul Raul Ortiz. That's how close we are. We've known each other for years. And when he worked down here, you know, through GWS, he was one of the deputies, and through Obama and the big mess that Obama made, and all the people flooding the border, which, by the way, under Barry.

President Berioban. That dude, at least that guy and his DHS chief and his people, they were actively deporting thousands of individuals, criminals in this country, prioritizing criminals. They were not enforcing law on individuals that had crossed the border multiple times, which is a felony. You cross the border illegally between the ports of entry. You swim the river.

Man, if you're an American citizen, And you swim the river, you do not entry through a legal port of entry. First case is a misdemeanor. The second case is a felony. We're not enforcing any of these felonies.

So, under Barry Obama, he was grabbing other criminals, you know, the rapists, the murderers, the carjackers, and so on and so forth. Grabbing them, kicking them out of the country. Ask the individuals Immigration Customs Enforcement, you know, ICE, that office that. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and all the lefties they wanted to shut down a long time ago. ICE ain't doing its job.

They can't do their job under this presidency. They don't want them to do their job. Don't want to kick out anybody. That's the mindset we have. Again, thank you.

You guys voted for Joe Biden, thank you. You own this, just like the Democrats who, the cowards who didn't come down here to the DHS committee, the homeland, sorry, the Homeland Security Committee, and the USO didn't come down here to my market this week to talk about the Ms. Joe Biden's made, you cowards, you Democrat cowards on that committee. You own this. You know, lawmakers are going to be talking with the president.

That's some of the news for this weekend. Lawmakers are going to be talking with the president. U.S. lawmakers, I'm talking about Washington. Lawmakers will have a sit-down with the president to talk about.

Border security issues. Uh El precedente. Ain't that embarrassing? Yeah. We got reports of A bipartisan group.

Now, the Republicans and some Democrats. I don't know who's going. I bet you Henry Quayar is going, you know, from here from the border, from Laredo. Yeah. They're having sit down with M Low.

Andres Manuel Lopez Orvador Amlo, the Mexican president, going to sit down with all these U.S. lawmakers, most of them Republicans, a few Democrats, from what we hear in the news. They're going to be talking about the border crisis, the border situation, terrorists that are crossing the border, terrorists that are being caught, individuals who are on the terror watch list. Let me just back a little bit because it's. If you're on the terror watch list, it's because you are an associate or a family member or somehow linked to a known terrorist.

So, not necessarily, you won't necessarily be strapping a bomb to you, going in there saying, you know, Akbar, I'm blowing up a high school or something like that. No, it's just individuals who are somehow associated. uh known to associate with known terrorists.

Well, all these uh terror watch list individuals, let me see, the number 16 in the month of February 16 were caught by Border Patrol.

So You tell me, Amiga, when Border Patrol says that they're able to catch about half of the individuals that cross the border illegally. and the other, you know, they call them gotaways, getaways, gotaways.

So, is it safe for me to say that if they got 16 on the terror watch list, that at least another 16 got away? And we're talking about. A group of individuals there. Folks who wish to get away, run away, not be caught by border patrol, they are actively. pursuing that, that option right you got border patrol distracted downriver A group of 50, 100 individuals crossed the border from the Americas working to get their paperwork to get into the country.

They crossed the border illegally, but they're gaming the asylum system. They just want a chance to go meet an NGO, you know, Catholic charities.

Okay. Or in some other charities group, get a new pair of shoes. take a bath, get some soup in their belly. Get a plane ticket or a bus ticket from other organizations. Come inside and wait their turn at immigration court to gain the asylum system.

Board of Patrol is taking care of those people, babysitting them downriver. You get a whole bunch of other individuals, yep, and some of them more than likely on the terror watch list as well. that are hoping to avoid. Captured by Border Patrol. Despite the distracts, and Border Patrol was able to catch 16 of these terror watch list individuals last month.

Yeah. So at a minimum, I would say. You got a double 16.

So, you know, 32 tried to cross the border, and at least, you know, 16 others got away, probably more. Because those individuals who know that they're on the terror watch list, they're working it hard to make sure that Border Troll is distracted. I bet you a lot more than just 16. Individuals. Known to be on the tarot watch list, I bet you.

And I think that's a safe bet. I betcha. A whole bunch more crossed the border illegally. John Cornyn Republican Senator from Texas. other Republican lawmakers, a few Democrats as well, they tell me.

They're going to have a sit-down with the Mexican president Amlo talk about the border situation on the U.S.-Mexico border. And they're coming to us from all over the place. It's just not the Western Hemisphere, Amigo. It's not just Cuba, Venezuela, and these people clamoring to be free. They once had a taste of what freedom was.

Maybe their parents did in Cuba, but in Venezuela they did. They had prosperity in Venezuela. Markets completely ruined by heavy-handed statist, quasi-communists ruining everything. Just market control, control of markets, control of resources, control of distribution. In other words, communists, Marxists.

In Venezuela, escaping there as quickly as they can, coming this way. Other folks coming from Central America looking for jobs, looking for a chance to stay here, to come here and stay. Have kids. Grow some roots and In the US? They're coming to us from all over the place.

I was a little surprised. by a quote attributed to Our Texas Senator John Cornyn did he said that he was surprised. With a number of illegal immigrants coming in from China. I thought he would know this by now. They're coming to us from all over the place.

Yes, they're coming to us from Central America, South America. They're coming to us from the Middle East. Yes, some of these individuals who are on the Terror Watch List They're coming to us from Ukraine. They're coming to us from Russia. They don't want to be drafted into that Vladimir Putin war in Russia.

They're coming to us from Africa. They're coming to us from China as well. You're in Frieda. Follow-up to something I mentioned to you yesterday. You know, Biden administration making all sorts of noise.

Threaten to ban TikTok across the United States. Ban the app TikTok. Chinese Communist Party-owned TikTok. Because a Chinese communist have the information that your kids, maybe you have TikTok on your phone? on your smart device.

You surrender a whole bunch of information. Mm. I don't want to say the S word, in a not so intelligent fashion, Amigo. You surrender all this information. They can track you.

They can sell you. Even worse, maybe they can use your electronic device in reverse fashion to shut down. The internet shut you down. maybe infiltrate business. and do their dirty deeds.

The Communist Party do their dirty deeds. The UK yesterday told employees. All federal employees in the UK. Uh-uh. Take that TikTok crap off your phones.

All ministers, everybody. Everybody. I told you yesterday the Biden administration was making all sorts of noise to. Get rid of TikTok in this country unless it's sold. And I said, What's that going to do?

We have as much access to Chinese Communist Party servers. All the information has already been surrendered. We have. We probably have more access to a certain lab in China that weaponized that COVID virus and released it into the world. We probably have more access to that.

than to the Chinese servers that already have all that information from from TikTok. In the news, TikTok CEO Talking the Wall Street Journal. Saying Biden's proposal to ban TikTok, that's not going to do anything. I told you. That's 18 minutes after the hour.

I'm Sergio Santis. You're listening to The Dana Show coming to you today from her Southern Command in South Texas. The Dana Show. It is likely that this thing is not going to disappear. It's not going to be eradicated and it's not going to be eliminated.

So it's going to be around, you know, for the foreseeable future.

So it is likely that we will require an intermittent, likely at the same time as we get a flu vaccine, at least once a year.

Sorry about that. I I know that you didn't want to hear his voice. It's it's just uh you probably prefer listening to nails on a chalkboard than hear this guy's voice. Doctor Fauci, yeah.

So COVID shot yearly. Yeah, that that's that's not gonna happen. Mm-hmm. Welcome to the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Yosanchis in for my friend Dana Laij, reporting to you from her Southern Command in South Texas, RGV, Texas.

Yeah. No, thank you, Dr. Rafauci. Yeah. Yeah, you know what?

We need to wait several years for all the clinical trials now spinning right now. Going to be talking about the effectiveness of the vaccines, the safety. Of the vaccines, especially when it comes to heart issues affecting the heart. Yeah, I'd like to find that out in a few years. And by the way, you heard this, I know you heard this on the Dana show many months ago.

Whatever happened to that one and done universal COVID vaccine where you get one shot and that's it. That's it. The rest of your life, you're good to go, right? Whatever happened to that? I know they were working on it at military facilities in this country.

All right, Val, let's do some headlines. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five, brought to you by Caltech. Consumer sentiment is falling for the first time in a few months. University of Michigan, their regular report on this, saying the number fell by 5%.

Now, the pollster is pointing to the Silicon Valley Bank and some bank instability, all the headlines related to that. Yeah, that was just a few days ago. When did you run this Consumer Senate poll? I thought you ran this well towards the end of February. Anyway, I would believe their argument.

Low expectations. as far as economic performance when it comes to all the inflation. The Medical University of South Carolina launching a new app for kids with rare diseases, specifically helping kids with sickle cell. And New Jersey's largest city, the victim of a scam artist from India. The city partnered with the Hindu nation of the United States of Kayalasa.

It doesn't exist. Mercifully, no money was exchanged. But they went six days into this campaign before finding out it was as real as Wakanda forever. I'm Sergio Sanchez in for my friend Dana Lash from South Texas. Want a behind-the-scenes look at the Dana Show?

Subscribe to Dana's chapter and verse newsletter for a deeper dive in all things Dana at Danalash.com. His actions have now caused the deaths of four people, including two innocent Americans. It happens pretty much on a daily basis, Amigo. These chases, these high-speed chases, if it's not happening in my market here in South Texas, somewhere along the 1,200 miles between here and that border wall that does work, by the way, out in San Diego, California, there is a high-speed chase, Border Patrol chasing smugglers or chasing illegal immigrants. That's the voice of Bill Melugin.

From Fox News. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to the Dana Show from what I refer to as Her Southern Command in South Texas. Dana's taking advantage of some spring break and downtime with her baby. I I know he's a big dude.

He he's probably a A big man already, he probably stinks like a man every single day, but he's still. Still your baby, right, Dan? Just like mine. I got a 15-year-old. He's a big dude.

He's taller than I am. He stinks worse than I do. Yeah. But he's still my baby, so Dana taking advantage of some spring break times. She should be back with us on Monday.

Yeah, Bill Malugin, by the way, hats off. And I'm standing up now and saluting Bill Malugin. He does, oh man, he does God's work. He does an awesome job. on the border.

I wish we could clone Excellent reporters like Bill and put him on all major networks, all of them, the dinosaur networks, you know, the old ones, ABC, CBS, all the all the cables. I wish they had the courage. to hire somebody Like Bill Melujan, put them on there and do regular reports, regular steady drumbeats, steady cadence reports from the U. S. Mexican border.

Again, that example he gave of a grandmother and granddaughter, American citizens.

Some coyote, some human smuggler ran into them. They they were the smuggler with the illegals. Borderless vehicle, being chased by authorities. I don't know, maybe DPS or Border Patrol combined. But this guy crashed, this coyote, the smuggler, crashed into the vehicle being driven by this woman and her Her granddaughter.

And it happens all the time. Here in deep South Texas, and I know my audience here in South Texas knows what I'm talking about. You take Highway 83, which is these days called the Interstate Aitu, headed west to Stark County. That almost on a daily basis. There's a chase.

DPS and local sheriff's office going into Star County and chasing drug runners, chasing illegal immigrants and big trucks. And it does happen on a regular basis, and there are accidents on a regular basis. And when those individuals, let's say it's a car full of illegals, a truck full of illegals, and Blows a tire, or the driver loses control and starts flipping all over the place, and human beings. are a catapult that's strewn all over the place. jettisoned.

Little missiles coming out of a spinning SUV, a spinning peop human beings jettisoned all over the place. Those who survive The illegal Americans who survive That nasty accident. Guess who pays for their medical care? Guess who pays for their ER? Guess who pays for their long stay and rehab?

Here in the First World US of A, Atlanta 911. You get you? Yeah. I'm saying you. Assuming that you're paying.

paying taxes, right? Because there might be a few that sneak in here that are not paying any taxes, but if you pay taxes, You're helping to fund Medicaid and all these emergency spending programs. Yeah, you and I. I sp I pay taxes. Dana's is paying a lot of taxes as well.

Yeah, American taxpayers are footing the bill for all these um medical incidents. Stick around. I'm going to share with you a conversation here in just a few seconds. My congresswoman, Republican Congresswoman from South Texas. And she has something to say about Democrats Cowards Individuals from the Homeland Security um Homeland Security Committee had a field hearing and they they didn't show up.

I want to follow up real quick. Uh mention for another story. I mentioned this yesterday on the Danish show from from uh the New York, New Jersey area. Uh I I wasn't able to tell ya. Because I didn't know in the reports that were given to us, we didn't know.

Four individuals, four women. Near um The New Jersey Mall for Women. hospitalized. for fentanyl poisoning. Police responded, first responders, medical people.

Responded. Five mall employees overdosed in the parking lot. It seems that maybe, maybe they might have been trying to take drugs, somehow got exposed to they they were in their vehicle. Luckily, there was a nurse nearby who attended to them. But these these four One remains hospitalized.

We're poisoned by a fentanyl, deadly fentanyl that comes across which border, boys and girls? Say it all together. Say it as I said. Maybe. There he go.

Okay, here's my conversation with uh my congresswoman. You know, these R Republicans had that Long list of border security people had that field hearing right here in my market this week. And I had a chance to speak with my Republican, against Republican congresswoman from South Texas. We were tossing around some critical border security issues. Monica, can we please start with this field hearing for Homeland Security?

It's embarrassing. It's anti-American. Not a single Democrat politician came down here to talk about the lack of border security under Joe Biden. I just want to get your reaction, your thoughts to all these Democrats, these cowards who own it, by the way, who own this Biden border mess. The very fact that they did not show up says everything about how lost the Democrat Party is.

You are absolutely right. What a slap in the face to the American people and to the constituents that actually voted for them to do their job. Their job was to be on this committee, to come down here and find out the truth about the border. And as we found out, and she said the border is not operationally secured. What the Democrats didn't want to hear is that.

And that is exactly why they did not show up. And you know what, Sergio? If you don't show up for work, if Car salesman. didn't show up for work and do their job, they're fired as these Democrats should be fired immediately. Regardless of where they're from, they have a responsibility to the nation, to the American people, to show up for their job and to find out what's really happening firsthand on our border.

Just recently in December, Lewis's County and Border Patrol custom agents found three gallons of fentanyl. That would kill 5 million people, 2.5 times the city of Houston. This is something that they should be aware of. They need to know what's going on. And they failed their constituents and they failed American people by not showing up.

Monica de la Cruz is our congresswoman from South Texas. The Homeland Security Committee, U.S. House, had a field hearing here in the McCallan area this week, and not a single Democrat showed up. We have the present National Border Patrol chief who used to be the chief down here in South Texas, Raul Ortiz, contradicting directly what Homeland Security Chief Alex Mallorcas said many days back. Mallorcas said, yeah, we got operational control on the border.

Our Border Patrol Chief at the national level, Robert Latisse, was asked about this. He said no. No, we don't. Monica. I know they have a strong Border Patrol union.

But honestly, Amiga, I I fear for the future employment of Raul Ortiz. Because that's his boss who says they have operational control. He said they don't. I'm keeping an eye on Washington to see if Rawul will still be gainfully employed by Border Patrol in the near future because. These leftists, they play politics, they play for keeps.

And just keep an eye on Rule to see if he's okay over the next several days.

Well, I can tell you this. Chief Ortiz was brave to speak truth. And I I believe that the Democrats knew that on his home turf with his People watching him in front of the committee, he was going to stand up for his agents, and he was going to stand up for truth. That took guts, that took bravery, and I'm really proud that he spoke truth, which is that our border is not operationally secure. Part of the ridiculous waste that we see, it's amazing how.

For example, we got all this steel, all these bars, all this equipment, all this border security initiatives that had been paid for, all this equipment. We're still paying money. For the upkeep of all that.

Well, look, that's just one of the many issues. Our agents do not have the resources that they need. Did you know that they actually have? Have cars that are not in use, so they can't go out and do their job. They have to wait for one of their Border Patrol agents to come in.

from their job in order for them to take off. And what that does is that leaves our borders unsecure for that. It may take for them to switch out cars. We don't have enough drones. That was what I brought up during this hearing, where in fiscal year 2022, the cartels said.

And there were 35,000 detections. of cartel drones. 35,000.

Now to put that into perspective, Our RGV sector only has drones and of those 31 drones only 18 are operational. We are outmanned. The cartels have more technology. They have endless buckets of money. We are leaving our Border Patrol agents vulnerable on the front line.

And something needs to be done immediately.

South Texas Congressman Monica de la Cruz, Republican. That's right. Finally, they voted in a Republican here in South Texas. Is there any legislation being worked on in DC right now that might have Some hope of bipartisan support, maybe a single-issue piece of legislation that might move forward to provide either equipment or more manpower or address an issue like the broken asylum system that's being gained by all these people entering the country and being allowed a chance to stay because they're waiting in line for asylum. Anything being worked on?

There are three policies that I'm aware of that I've co-sponsored as well. Everybody from Chip Roy has put out a policy or a bill.

So has Tony Gonzalez. Congressman Mark Green, who is the Chairman for Homeland Security, I just was actually able to speak with him and share with him another concern that I have, which is the aerostat balloons. We had here in the RGV sector seven aerostat balloons, and because of lack of funding, we had lost three and we're about to lose the last four at the end of the year.

Now, what these aerostat balloons do is they allow Border Patrol agents to be able to see at long and wide distances. This not only keeps our nation safe, but it allows our Border Patrol agents to be able to see when the large migrations are coming across. for safety, so they can call up backup for themselves. And so it is very concerning that while we're having this unprecedented amount of illegal immigration, illegal drugs, that resources are being taken away from them. And so Chairman Green has said yes, that he will put that in his bill for funding.

And we're going to be talking to the Foreign Affairs Committee as well to see if we can keep funding for these Aerostat balloons.

So we also had agricultural chair GT Thompson come into town. We had a roundtable with close to 30 farmers and ranchers yesterday. How can we protect Texas farmers from the damages that are incurred because of illegal immigration and the coyotes? That is My congresswoman, one of our congresspeople here from South Texas, Monica De La Cruz, Republican. Yes, it's a miracle she got elected in, Republican, but yeah, that's how frustrated we are here in South Texas with the whole border, Biden border mess.

We can vote more liberty-minded and folks who are But more law enforcement-minded individuals in the Congress. Yeah, if we can do that, you guys can do that as well in swing states. You're listening to The Dana Show. I'm Sergio Sanchez. And for my friend Dana Lash, you want to say hello online on Twitter.

It's at Sergio Talk and Sergio at Kurv.com. Thank you so much for joining us on this St. Patrick's Day edition of The Dana Show. Politics, pop culture, and whatever else gets canceled, tossed in a blender paid for by sponsored hate mail. It's the Dana Show.

So glad you could join us today. I'm Sergio Sanchez. And from my friend Dana Lash from Southern Command in South Texas. Stick around, got more great information, stuff you need to know, news of the day, including.

Something birthed during COVID, you know, all the shutdowns. including several counties and several states shutting down churches. From this, man, we got some litigation, we got lawsuits, and one that's moving through the courts in California. And I man, I am so looking forward to hearing this fight. It's a church versus state fight.

It's coming to us from California, and I know this. I would hope that this case that will wiggle through all appeals courts and left appeals courts and In California, the West Coast, I hope it makes it to the High Court.

Okay. Hey, you guys who are on the Separation of church and stateside. I think you should join me on this one, right? Join me on this with separation which is not in the Constitution, by the way. It's not in there at all.

Join me. You don't want to hear the church tell you anything? That road goes both ways. You don't tell the church anything. I'll share that with you next hour.

And also, Man, how I hope. Hope beyond hope. Man, I'm hoping that Donald Trump behaves. I love you, Mr. Trump.

One of the greatest presidents of all time. Bye. Sir, please be more presidential on the campaign trail. And I want to share some thoughts on that and a conversation I had with a friend who was a political analyst. All right, Val, let's do some Florida Man.

It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man.

Okay. The following headline says Will tell you everything you need to know, and I know you're going to wince when you hear it. Just the headline alone. The headline comes to us from a place called Kentonment, Florida. Here's a headline, Florida Man.

working inside A cement mixer dies. after the thing turns on. Poor dude. Man, can you just imagine the torture that man went through? And This other Florida man, truly representative Florida man, from Orno County, the Sheriff's Office, contacted by.

Mr. Florida man, that he had just purchased some drugs, but there was something off in the consistency. He suspected that maybe it was Beth salt, so he he asked the he asked law enforcement to test it for him, just to make sure. They confirmed, yeah, it is methamphetamine. You bought methamphetamine, so we're going to take you into custody.

Thank you much for joining us on the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Sanchez, reporting to you from South Texas. But would you agree those are the top three causes of inflation? Deficit spending, high energy costs, and supply dislocations? I don't believe that deficit spending is one of the main causes.

I mean, inflation is too many dollars chasing too few goods. Yeah. Yeah, you needed to hear that audio from that is the Treasury's Secretary, Janet Yellen. My goodness.

Okay. Economics 101, man. He said it. You got too much cash, too much demand, too few goods, too supply. And of course the the price of stuff Is going to skyrocket.

That plus energy, supply chain issues that this administration did not contribute any solution. for the Biden administration. Yeah, there you go. That's why you have it in place. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen just said no.

Too much cash, flood of cash. In other words, your grandchildren's money, my grandchildren's money, and great-grandchildren's money, all this deficit spending. Too much cash out there. chasing too few goods. Wow, that's.

Let me pick up my jaw. The ground. Welcome to hour three of the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Sanchez, and always it's an honor to be with you today.

So I told you last hour, man, I'm looking forward to seeing this fight in California. California Church suing their county, Santa Clara. Man, you will not believe how much money they owe this church owes Santa Clara County because of fines that their local government imposed on this church for what? For opening up during COVID nineteen. The place is called Calgary Chapel in San Jose, California.

$2.8 million in fines. Don't pay it. Don't you dare pay a single dollar for this. I don't know if that's going to affect the credit cards you have or whatever credit you need for it. improvements that the church don't pay you.

$2.8 million in county fines because this church, Calgary Chapel, defined county commissioners' ordinances against any and all public gatherings during that dark season, 2020, and darkness as far as ignorance. Their pastor, his name is Mike McClure, he followed the rules for a while. for a couple of months Reopen the church without any masks, without any social distancing required. And attendance in the thousands, of course. People who wanted to go could go.

People who didn't were afraid could stay home and go online. The pastor, Mike McClure. saying that requiring a church to be closed It violated Your right to religion, First Amendment right. All these excessive fines by the county, he pointed to the Eighth Amendment violation of that. A spokesperson for the county.

Saying that it was a priority. They were trying to protect the public from the pandemic. And it is, in the end, the state, the county, the government telling the church what to do, when to open, when to close. You obey, you bend a knee or else. And for some of y'all that are out there that are in the separation of church and state, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Separation of church and state.

Brrrr. You're violating the Constitution. Burke, you guys. Chicken littles out there all the time just parroting the same thing. There is no such thing as separation of church and state in the Constitution.

This establishment clause that you've morphed and you describe as separation of church and state, there's no such thing. But let me follow you there for just a little bit then. If indeed we're going to be separating church and state. then we need to separate the state from the church. And whether it's county government, city government, state government, whoever it was, all these little tyrants that were exposed.

during the COVID season. Every time I talk about this, you know the first person that comes to mind. Yeah. is Gretchen Whitmer. in Michigan.

I still can't believe. You so-called independents, you call so-called free thinkers, independents, America-loving independence, freedom-loving independence, and the state of Michigan. Did you guys not learn anything during COVID? Her heavy-handed response to the, which I saw write-up this week, she admitted to that. She was way too heavy-handed.

And Partsy kind of admitted to that this week. You still voted her in. I'm thinking that Gretchen Whitmer out in Michigan admitted to all this because she wants to seem a little softer and more common sense-minded, because I think that woman's running for president. I think Gretchen Whitmer's running for president on the Democrat side. I think Governor Gavin Goodhair, you know, the guy said, do as I say, not as I do.

Let me go to dinner with all my friends and donors and other people that I love. Let me go to a wine dinner, a little wine soiree with all these folks.

Well, you stay away from McDonald's. You got to stay away from all these restaurants. You can stay away from the stores. Yeah, that governor Good hair Gavin Newsome. He's running for president.

Gretchen Whitmer's running for president. Oh, and Stacey Abrams reported to you yesterday, she's still looking to run for something. Oh my goodness. Yeah, the the woman with the big gap? Um Front teeth, a big gap.

I think she had it physically opened up so she could lie through her teeth. That lady and George. Woman, you need to go call Paramount. See if they can give you a full-time job as a Star Trek captain or what was it? What does he do?

She likes an Admiral or something like that. She's a Star Trek fan. That's the only thing we have in common. Stacey Abrams and I. She's a big Star Trek fan.

I love Star Trek. She appeared on Star Trek. Go get a job over there. Just be one of those mic handlers, boom handlers, whatever, and then offer every now and then to be part of a show. She's running for office again.

Yeah. You watch she's running for president. Or she could run for Congress and Joe, Jay, because those seats are always up every couple of years. She won't get a real job. I say this because I am convinced Joe Biden isn't running for president.

Okay, so back to the issue.

Sorry, I usually. chase all these rabbits down the hole. Church and state case out of California. Calvary Chapel saying, no, they're not going to pay $2.8 million in county fines because they were forced to shut down during COVID. Yeah.

If you on the left, you guys who hate the church, you guys who hate religion, you guys who call yourselves these atheists, who, by the way, takes a hell of a lot more faith. More belief and faith that jumps into the eternal unknown by saying that you are, that there is nothing, that everything comes to an end, that everything goes quiet, and that you disappear for all eternity, and that we are an accident of the universe, all this intelligence, all this. All these mechanisms and motors and biological machinery that comprises the amazing human body and all the different systems that work in unison to. Provides you a daily existence. Just that alone, more complicated than a Rolex watch, more complicated than a typewriter, which the universe still hasn't sped up by accident.

You willing to b believe that you want nothing to do. With God. You want to do your own thing. I get it. Fine.

You got one life to live. Enjoy it and then enjoy eternity in hell. Go knock yourself out. That's. That's what I say.

And you don't want to think about that, that's fine. That's fine. You have every right to live your life, be happy. That is your pursuit of happiness in this one life that you get to live physically, and then in eternity, well. Go advocate for yourself.

Go represent yourself in front of the great white throne. That's the way I see it. You got nothing to do. In fact, you probably. Uncomfortable right now, wincing.

Oh man, I hate this dude. Who the hell is this clown talking to me right now? You say you don't want the church, you don't want the influence of religion in your life, you don't even want it in the public square, you want complete separation of church and state. No establishment you argue. It works both ways.

The state Cannot. I am a firm believer. The state? whether it's city, county, Federal, all state, all government cannot tell the church to do anything, or should be allowed to tell the church to do anything. Man, I am so radical on this, even when it comes down to To county code and construction and plumbing and fire code and all that stuff.

I am there. That's where I am right now. Pull me back if you want, if you can. There is nothing government, any government should be telling any church. I want this.

I am so glad that this fight is now working its way through California courts, likely go through an appeal on the Liberal Appeals Court and eventually wind up at the High Court. And for the sake of precedent, for the sake of finally settling this issue, this is. This is one that I believe will, should, definitely should be addressed by the High Court eventually. Can the state, can government impose its will on a completely separate entity of society, which is the church, has nothing to do with? That's been the argument up to now.

We cannot have any imposition of religion, any imposition of church over the state whatsoever. Separation, brrrrr. Let's go. I'm looking forward to that, right? Let's see what else is in the news.

Oh man, talk too much about that last one.

Well, well, well, well, look at this. House Republicans saying that their investigation has found that President Biden's family got rich, at least got a million dollars from one Chinese link business. Is that all?

Okay. Oh, I'm sure this is just the beginning. in a flood of more financial information that will Put Joe Biden and his family in a compromising position and a bad light. Findings from Republicans providing this information on the million dollars that the Biden family made from this Chinese link business. Of course.

The usual player, Hunter, is in there. He got some cash. James Biden. His brother, Joe's brother, and a daughter-in-law, and another family member getting all this cash from a Chinese company. The button family.

Joe Biden and his family, somehow, just like Nancy Pelosi, just like many lawmakers, and some of them, yes, are Republicans, but a lot of Democrats, a lot of Republican these long-term politicians, including Bernie. Bernie's rich. Folk Hannes. Elizabeth Warren, she's rich. All these people are rich.

How'd they get rich? What Hillary Clinton, all these people, they have inside information. They know what laws are coming up, what regulations are coming up. They know what's coming down the pike. They know who to call, what to invest in, what to divest.

And they know all this because they're at the seat of power or close to the seat of power to know what is coming down the pike.

So, revelations for House Republicans on a million-dollar Chinese-linked business headed to the Biden family. Just a little example, just a little morsel of where the vast riches of the Biden powerful family likely came from.

So, stay tuned for more information on this. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to the Dana Show. We're broadcasting today from her Southern Command in South Texas. Your one-stop shop for the information you need to fight back.

If you're going to have to learn stuff, you might as well enjoy it. The Dana Show. Coming to you from South Texas. It's an honor to be with you. My name is Sergio Sanchez, and this is the Dana Show.

And we're coming at you from the Dana Show Southern Command in South Texas. If you wish to say hello, you can use Twitter at Sergio Talk. Stick around. I'm going to share a conversation I had with a friend of mine who's a political analyst. And we were talking about President, former President Donald Trump.

And man, how I... Hope and wish that he could sound a bit more presidential. He has it in him. He's done this before in times of crisis. And that's what we desperately need right now.

But we'll look at some of the polling data. I know he's way ahead right now. Primary conversations. I know it's way too early, but with Ron DeSantis waiting in the wings, Ron is taking the high road. He's not.

talking any smack about Donald Trump. Donald Trump just can't help himself. But man, can an old dog learn new tricks in the case of former President Trump? I hope and pray, Lord, give him wisdom, please, Jesus. Give him wisdom.

I know he ain't asking for it. I'm asking you, Lord, give him wisdom. We need this old dog to learn a new trick. Just refrain from saying too much. Control your tongue, dude.

I know you're not a politician, but he needs to play nice and focus on the political enemy. The left, all this craziness. Just focus on Joe Biden. That's what he needs to do. That's coming up in just a little bit.

All right, Val, let's do some headlines. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five, brought to you by Keltech. Russia. Dismissing an arrest warrant. An arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin over the war in Ukraine.

The warrant accusing Vladimir Putin of war crimes at its center around the center all around kids being deported and others being deported transferred from Ukraine to Russia. Where's the Moscot is missing that arrest warrant. This note from Maryland. This reminded me of an interview I had yesterday with somebody who's a retired referee here in Texas. Parents who are becoming violent and verbally abusive and violent.

Parents misbehaving at kids' sports. That's a real problem. This is from Maryland: a West Baltimore father accused of pulling a loaded gun on his son's basketball coaches because they weren't playing his kid enough. His name See, Mr. Spencer, Troy Spencer being held on 23 counts, including illegally possessing.

Oh, Mr. Spencer pleaded guilty sometime back to second-degree murder a few years ago. Yeah. If you throw the book at him because he's not supposed to have a gun, yeah, now that would be real justice, but no. Michigan, they've got new.

Gun control laws, new red flag laws, and storage laws as well. That's also in the news today. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to The Dana Show coming at you from South Texas. Red meat, black coffee, truth-telling.

The Dana Show. I do think that the president's reckless words that day endangered all of us that were at the Capitol. I'll let history be the judge of those matters, and the American people can each have their own opinions. But I truly do believe, Larry, that we did our duty that day. The Bible says he keeps his oath even when it hurts.

I know something about that. I took an oath to uphold the Constitution, and by God's grace, we did it that day. Yeah, former Vice President Mike Pence. When I heard this audio early this week, it it made me sadden. Like, I so what what reckless words, Mike?

And I say, Mike, I know you're the vice president, but you're a former talk radio host, too. Mike, which words? What, the ones where he was telling you specifically, maybe? Get in there and vote him down, or don't vote in favor of this, or just ignorantly, Donald Trump ignorantly, just because he wanted his way. thinking that he could force you and and thank thank you Mike Pence for standing up.

And doing what you're called to do. Here's what it is. I mean, that is the process. The states certified the votes, sent it to D.C., they sent all these electors. It is the process.

Whether or not, and I do believe that at the state level, there is an argument to be made that in certain swing states and in big communities and major markets and all these questionable ballots coming in, all the very loose, super loose rules when it came to mail-in ballots and all these mules. Thank you, Dinesh D'Souza. All these mules picking up and stuffing ballots and stuffing boxes, all those things. Yes, there's a lot to be said, but that is the process. It was a COVID election, and we needed a hell of a lot more people showing up, defending America, defending liberty.

And we deserve the government that we have because Democrats did their job and other operatives stole or did whatever. There is no question, no question. In my mind, that Donald Trump, every single one, 75 million, whatever it was for Donald Trump. That number, all of them, that's legit. I have lots of questions on the Joe Biden's 80 plus more than Obama, more than anyone else in history.

Yeah, yeah, sure. Sleepy Joe from the basement. Dementia Joe these days, he's so bad.

Okay. But, Michael, what? I know you're not talking about the speech. He did not call for any armed insurrection. He didn't call for any insurrection.

He didn't call for anybody. He was calling for peace for whatever audio that you want to use on Donald Trump. You got plenty of expanded. Complete audio. Showing you that he never called for that.

He never called for any violence. He never called for any insurrection. Maybe he had a personal conversation with you because he thought maybe you could vote things down and arrest the process, stop for a little bit, some weeks, a few months, to investigate all this and No, it's the process. It's the wheels are in motion. The state certified.

The elections people certified. State powers. Each state with their power certify the election and senate. That's it. That's the process.

It works in our favor. It works in their favor as well.

Next time, show up and vote. Anyone that had a problem with this, and some of y'all who religiously defend Donald Trump as he's some god figure to you, some cult. If he doesn't get the nomination, you better show up for liberty's sake, for your country, because the direction the Democrats have us on right now. is headed straight to hell, straight to perdition. There's craziness on on the left.

Well, it's Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis You better show up and vote for Liberty. I was very sad to hear that from Mike Pence. It's just the beginning, and we're far, far away. From you know, the Republican primaries. But I just I fear that Because Donald Trump is who he is as a man, as a human being, as a non-politician.

It's part of his charm, but also his potential downfall. Uh They have so much to use against so much audio for very weak-minded individuals to be influenced and vote against him. But how I hope, I just hope and pray, and I hope that you guys who believe. The God Almighty listens to you and can intervene in things like I do. Pray for him.

Pray for Donald Trump. I say, pray for Ron DeSantis. Pray for all these people that are fighting on behalf of our country. But I say, pray for Donald's going to he's in the lead. Pauling Data has him in the lead.

And far away is Ron DeSantis. Ron DeSantis taking the high road. Donald Trump being bellicose and sophomoreish and his commentary and his criticism. He, of all people, needs to be presidential right now. And he's got the rest of the year to be presidential and to focus on solutions and focus on Joe Biden.

That's my desire, my prayer. Join me in that, please. I'm going to share with you a conversation I had with Jennifer Stefano. She's a political commentator on this a little later. It's coming up this weekend.

U.S. Senator John Cornyn, other lawmakers, Republicans, and I hear Democrats will have a sit-down with the President to talk about they're going to do this fact-finding mission on the U.S.-Mexican border, the problems on the border, fentanyl coming across, illegal immigrants, people on the terror watch list. They're sitting down with the president. Yeah. No, not Joe Biden.

Actually, el precedente. That's right. Amblo, the Mexican president. They're going to Mexico City to talk about stuff like this. Everything from terror watch lists, individuals crossing the border, people from all sorts of nationalities crossing the border.

Over a million people crossing so far. All the countries are coming from, and that's going to get a hearing. In Mexico City of Oprah, what a shame. Joe Biden goes to El Paso for one day, doesn't see anything. Claims that he went to the border, but it's Amelo, actually.

trying to arrest this issue with U.S. lawmakers. visiting Mexico City. I mentioned earlier in the program I had this in my notes. Um This is the statistic I was thinking of.

You know, of the hundred and thirty thousand illegal immigrants that Border Patrol called, Last month, which is about the same number the previous month, we're still on schedule to get real close to 2 million illegal immigrants crossing the border this fiscal year. It all ends in October. We're going to get close to that again, 2 million. You know, 25%, according to CBP and Border Control, 25% of the illegal border crossers, 25% were repeat offenders, repeat crossers. I told you a couple of hours back.

You cross the border illegally one time. Even as a U.S. citizen, you cross illegally swim the river. You don't use a port of entry. That's a misdemeanor.

You do it twice, it's a felony. 25% of 130,000 I'm not fast enough to do the math, so 25,000, almost 30,000 people plus should be going to jail on felony charges. Do we have enough jail space for all of them? That's one of the reasons this is such a huge mess. None of this is being prosecuted.

Who are the reporters following up? with the White House on this. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to the Dana Show for from South Texas. And let me go to my conversation with a friend of mine, Jennifer Stefano, hoping that everybody plays nice during the Republican primary.

Donald Trump not playing nice in the primary for Republicans. No surprise to me. From Commonwealth Foundation, Executive Vice President, I welcome back Jennifer Stefanos. You got plenty of name-calling and schoolyard tactics and taunts and nicknames. That's the way he rolls, Donald Trump.

Bad thing is that, man, there might be more stuff that comes from the Donald Trump campaign against Ron DeSantis, who we need. I think we need, as a conservative and Republican, I would like to keep Ron DeSantis as a viable candidate for the future, the post-Trump era. You surprised with any of this, Jen, as Donald continues to attack Ron DeSantis. Yeah, no, you're right. President Trump is running out of options in terms of a strategy here.

The new warrior in the Republican Party that takes on the elites, takes on the big corporations like Disney, fights the radical left agenda, and does it in a happy, productive way is Ron DeSantis. That used to be Trump's job. But Ron DeSantis has stepped into that void since President Trump left office. He has not only won the governorship, he won it by an enormous margin, of 19 points, and he broke all fundraising records. I think Trump has very few options.

To get to the presidency or any type of viable candidacy. And I don't think the option he's taking, which is to attack the sadness on public policies or things he voted on as a congressman, is going to work for President Trump. I think this is the last gassing breath. Yeah, and see, if Donald Trump were to take the high road and focus on the left and the lunatic leftist policies, Joe Biden, if he were to focus on that, I don't think he would lose anything. And Ron DeSantis, that's the high ground that Ron DeSantis is taking, because Ron DeSantis would then be forced to attack Trump.

And that's n I don't see that ever happening. And there's plenty of cloth to cut there. That's right. Look, i if Ron as long as Ron DeSantis stays out of the race, the Republicans have a Donald Trump problem. The minute DeSantis enters the race, Donald Trump has a Ron DeSantis problem.

Trump is not the factor. You're correct. If Ron DeSantis is smart, he is going to come into this race And pretend like President Trump doesn't exist. He is going to run as a president. He's going to be talking as much to independents that he needs to win over in the primary as he's going to be talking to MAGA Republicans.

He successfully did this in Florida. He not only won the MAGA Republicans and the moderate Republicans that were sick of Trump, he won moderate Democrats and independents by big margins. Ron DeSantis has the political chops and skills to do it. Most importantly, he has the fundraising arsenal. He is just about caught up to President Trump on fundraising.

President Trump has 80 million. DeSantis has about just over 70. Wow, from Commonwealth Foundation, Jen Stefano, my guest political strategist for conservatives. And all Trump needs to do, in my opinion, Jen, is just stay focused and even start producing, announcing some solutions on energy policy, his strong suit, which is border security. Boy, it's a freebie.

We're talking. About a whiff of ball being thrown at him. Just focus on border, on economy, on inflation, on energy issues. Look presidential again, and I know he has it within him. Polling data shows Donald Trump is still favored by a wide margin over Ronda Santa.

It's like we want to see, I want to see. A strong Donald Trump presidency comes back. But I want him to sound look presidential and give me some presidential solutions. That's what I want to hear. Yeah, and we and you know, here's the problem.

The time has grown very short for that. This is what was asked of President Trump in the lead up to 2020. Everybody said, look, Just stop with with the anger and the personal attacks. And focus on what you did. You have excellent President Trump did a great job for the United States from a public policy perspective, and he was a champion on education, he lowered taxes.

This is the kind of president that people appreciated. But you know, Americans want a statesman, they want someone that is not going to behave in a manner that, frankly, your mother would say this is outrageous, right? Like where your mother would be like, You need to stop behaving that way. And now you have someone that has actually stayed in office, become a national superstar, has enormous charisma. and has taken on in an even bigger way than President Trump did, the elites.

And Ron DeSantis speaks to the pain, points to the hope and shows that he can get the policies done because Florida is flourishing. I don't think President Trump has many options. More than likely. Unfortunately, it makes me sad to, again, say possibly President Trump. Might do himself in, might be his worst enemy, unless he listens.

Just listen to your kids, dude. Mr. President, listen to Junior. Listen to Ivanka. They want the best.

They know what the American people want to hear. I don't see that happening. And man, we might be surprised this time next year to see a really close race in the Republican primary. Ron DeSantis maybe starts plucking some states, maybe gets closer to taking the nomination away from Donald Trump in a very desperate and bellicose Trump, making just a mess of things. In the end, I think if.

That comes out. and Ron DeSantis gets the nomination. Man, I think that the mushy metal, the independence, I think they would gravitate. George Ron DeSantis as the nominee because they want nothing to do with Biden. They want nothing to do with the crazy leftist social upheaval Democrats.

I think that might be a good scenario for the Republicans. Unless Donald Trump changes. If he changes, great, he's a nominee, and I'm voting for him. Let's go. Yeah, now, those of us, anyone who has watched President Trump knows President Trump does what President Trump wants.

But I think Ron DeSantis has something that. President Reagan had, if you go back and watch videos of President Reagan, he was viciously attacked by the Democrats, viciously. It was personal, it was ugly. He never got angry. He had more of that tisk tisk There they go again.

And and it it really undercut They're veteran, and it showed him as the calm, reliable statesman in an unstable world. I mean, remember, this is the height of the cold world.

Well, guess what? What do Americans feel? They're feeling the economic pinch, just like in the 1970s with the inflation, and then an unstable world with China and Russia. You need the president that's the statesman that says tiff, tiff to the opposition and doesn't go on the attack against American citizens in a vicious way, even though they're doing that to him. That's what America needs.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time, Gladiator. I know they killed him off. So I have no idea what they're working on. I know it's a sequel, Gladiator 2. Maybe it's like a zombie movie.

That's the way they bring him back from the dead. But I'm just hoping that Denzel is as good with a sword and a knife, you know, as he is with a gun. This dude, Denzel, he's. He's the draw. He's the star power.

The gladiator dude is going to be Paul Mescal. I have no idea who that is. They just say he's from American Gangster. I saw a picture of him. I don't recognize him at all.

I don't watch much TV or movies, but anyway, he's a gladiator, but it's Denzel. He's the draw. He's the power at the box office. Does it say here when it comes out? No, it doesn't.
