We think they're murder hornets. Nine One One Nashville returns. What's the homicide detective doing here? Three bodies on the ground with emergencies of biblical proportions. I will send swarms upon you and upon your people.

Let's find a place in the Bible. And somebody's unleashing them on Nashville. Brian Phillippe joins Nine One One Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. Welcome to the program. We've got all kinds of stuff. We got racist bagels. We've got everything.

We've got chicken, racist bagels. I don't Islamist pandering. We've got it all, ladies and gentlemen.

So first and foremost, before because we're going to get into that, hold up, hold up, hold up. We also have to talk about endorsements and, interestingly enough, when they kind of swing towards different countries.

So. We have this started making news last night, and you had Trump who backed because Israel is having their elections, and Trump backed Netanyahu for the Israeli elections, and Vance made a very clear point of not doing that. This is cut eight. Listen. Over the weekend, the president endorsed Benjamin Netanyahu for re-election.

Israel, do you endorse Benjamin Netanyahu? The president has the most effective endorsement in American or international political history. I endorse American candidates, and that's where I'm focused on is the midterm.

So I'm not getting involved in Israeli elections.

So, so, so you're not, you don't want to say one way or the other, whether you. I'm not anti-endorsing it. I'm not pro-endorsing it. I'm not getting involved in Israeli elections. Right.

Okay. And he's doubled down, saying that he doesn't get involved in foreign elections. Except that's not true. I mean, just this past April, he went to Budapest specifically, explicitly, to not only endorse Viktor Orbán, and this did not work out well for Vance, to endorse Viktor Orbán, but also to campaign for him. That was right before Hungary had their parliamentary election.

And he literally was telling people over in Hungary, I quote, "Go to the polls this weekend and stand with Viktor Orbán." End quote. He also praised Orbán's policies and it was attacking other leaders in the EU.

So I don't, and that's not the only time he did it either.

So he went over there. He was over and he was campaigning with Viktor Orbán. Then last year, he went and met with leadership and did some campaigning with Alternative for Germany, that's AFD, and that was in Munich.

So he was over there in 2025, and working and supporting them as they campaigned. The idea that He's U.S. only in terms of focus for elections is a recent pivot, recent as literally just now, and he's been all over internationally giving speeches in support of candidates. I mean, he really campaigned hard in Hungary for Viktor Orban, and that again, that was just in April. He had to step down from the Hungarian Parliament.

I mean, he. It it was a landslide defeat, and that was it. It did not work out well for. That did not work out well for Vance. He did not get an ROI on that.

So I just find it weird that all of a sudden he says that he's not. If he would have just said, "I don't feel like endorsing in this specific election," that's one thing. But he didn't say that. He said that he's not going to get involved, and he's done a couple of Q and As about this at this point.

Now, he has said that he's just not going to get involved in foreign elections. But he has. I mean, we taxpayers help pay for his secret service when he went over to Hungary to literally campaign for Viktor Orban.

So that doesn't make sense. It's a very selectively enforced rule that is. Not at all demonstrative of a consistent policy that he has for himself, and because it's inconsistent, and because it seems rather selective, that makes people ask, "Well, why then? Why would you not? Because you have before." I the reporter that was doing the Q and A of the audio we played just missed a major.

Follow up question. That's that. I feel like is journalistic malpractice to not follow up with that. I mean, here was right here. Here was Vance just earlier this year.

Watch with Orban. Because we have got to get Viktor Orban reelected as prime minister of Hungary, don't we? Then my friends go to the polls and the weekend stand with Viktor Orbán because he stands for you and he stands for all these things. God bless Hungary and God bless the United States of America. Thank you.

And Viktor Orbán lost major landslide.

So again, when he's asked, "Are you going to do what Trump did and endorse?" and he declines, and he says that he's not going to get involved in foreign elections.

Well, then what? What was that? That was him in Budapest. That doesn't make any sense.

So he creates these issues for himself. And look, I say this: I don't have anybody in mind for 28. I don't know really what the GOP is going to do, and I don't think that the GOP has honestly figured it out either. But what I don't like is people. Basically, working to create problems for themselves if they're on the bench.

And he's running. By the way, he says he's going to wait till after midterms. That's just filler. He's running, but I don't like the fact that he's creating these issues that he refuses to address, which then compound and they get worse and worse and worse. I don't want to see anybody.

That would be sitting on the GOP bench, creating issues for themselves that could compound to the point where it creates issues for others, or it creates drama because you have to have candidates question each other about it. Why would we do this? I don't know if he thinks that it's far enough out from twenty eight to not matter, but I feel like that is demonstrative of his lack of political acumen. The sooner he gets this deals with us. And gets it out of the way, the better honestly it is for him, because people's memories and politics are short guys.

And if you don't believe me, look at Vivek Ramaswamy. He went from being Tucker's anointed candidate, you can't question him, you can't criticize him, to now everybody's like piling on him.

So, don't tell me that voters do not have fickle memories, because they absolutely do. I don't know who is advising him, but whoever is advising him on this needs to stop because it's actually hurting him. And people have every right to ask questions about this because this is a free country. And if people don't like it, they can GTFO. But the reason people ask questions is because he creates the issue of of asking the questions.

He creates the problem. It's like just address it. All he had to do was say, "You know, I'm not going to get involved in this specific." Because now, look, Trump endorsed Vance, won't, but they. But Vance is on the record of having been involved in at least two different foreign elections. It doesn't look right.

Couple that with the fact that he cannot bring himself to criticize Tucker Carlson, the interview that we played yesterday. Trump can. Trump had no issue doing it. Vance clearly is not Trump, and he's making a problem for himself because he refuses to address the issue, and that makes people think: Is he refusing to address it because he's scared and doesn't know how to message it, or is it because he agrees with it? And you cannot blame people for asking those questions because the information is withheld from them on that.

And when they don't, and they they're the voters; these are the people that you are going to be going to demanding that they vote, and they're going to be taking all of that into account. They have every right to ask a question, and when they don't get the answers, they will fill in the blanks, guys. But what about bagels, Dana? Yeah, let me share this banger of a story with you. Oh my heavens!

So, I know that people would get mad over like the mascots with the Indians and things like that. I've never seen this. A New York City bagel shop. It's a little bagel shop in Harlem, right? They had a cardboard cutout of its cartoon mascot.

So, I guess the owner or one of the people who works with the bagel shop is an artist and does like all of the shop's artwork and has done stuff for the New York Knicks that have been displayed at Madison Square Garden and all kinds of stuff.

So, Andrew Martinez is the owner. He had this. It's Bose Bagels on West One Sixteenth. And they had the sunglasses-wearing bagel to advertise. Hey, we're a bagel place.

And a TikTok influencer, pictured in the image right here, right there, said it was blackface. She went on, excuse me, went on TikTok and said it was blackface. Anastasia X. She visited the bagel shop and she said that it was a blackface bagel, and that it's problematic. And she, by my count, she's rando.

She's got four thousand followers on TikTok. She says it's not funny, and she said that the shop was white-owned, so that to me sounds like she's the racist. And she encouraged basically people to flame this bagel shop.

So, um, that is ridiculous. She was saying that it was racist. She said it's a caricature. What? Yeah, watch this.

This is her. Is there TikTok?

So dumb. And here's the story. On Sunday, Carl asked if I thought he was overreacting, and on Monday, I decided I should go and see the spago for myself.

So first, I tried the spago, and I will say they were delicious. And I also had a coffee, which I thought was pretty standard. But I took note of the art inside while I was there.

Some of it was neutral, which I would consider to be kind of like a hotel room curation. It's beautiful. It's there. It's non-controversial.

Some of it was a little esque. I saw both black and white. White employees in the shop, and the bagel shop is white-owned. And then I asked to speak to the manager, and I asked if anyone had complained about the bagels, problematic bagel outside, not the inside bagels, and had the complaint been delivered to the owners. And I won't put that manager on blast, but oh, we'll do the whole other store.

Yes, there have been complaints. Yes, the owners are aware of the complaints, but no, nothing has been done. Interesting.

Now, this chick is a race hustler. That's her job. She has no other talent. Except a race hustle, I find, and she put this store on blast. I that's ridiculous.

I hope she's getting her just desserts. She's on blast now, so she did. She went back there like multiple days, and made it like her life's mission apparently to flame this bagel shop. What does a toasted bagel look like? That's right.

It's brown. It's a toasted bagel. It's a bagel. This is so ridiculous. People began threatening the business's employees, and then other influencers, because their thirstors came in to do their own video and talk about how racist the bagels are.

I mean, this chick, the bagel, the bagel is actually darker than she is. I don't even understand. It's a toasted bagel with seeds on it. You are so pathetic. If that is your life's goal, is to attack businesses because you're pathetic.

That's absolutely insane. And these people began threatening the employees, threatening the black employees. The black employees started getting threatened because of what all these goofy influencers influencing is a cancer. Influencers are a cancer. They are.

Don't at me because I'm right. They are. This is ridiculous. It is a disease of society. They are the lowest drugs.

Prostitutes at least have a skill.

Okay. We got a lot more on the way as we move. Our partners that bring you the program—it's the folks that are over at Preborn, a great organization that's been out there saving lives. They've saved over fifty thousand babies' lives thus far, and they're looking to save even more. So on my new audio series Love Lately, I'm getting into the conversations we're really having about love, relationships, and our sexual health. Every week, it's me and Dr. Contessa Metcalf, my big sister with a medical degree, breaking down what the culture says versus what the doctor says, and helping make sense of it all. Get into it. You know, the thing me and my friends don't really talk about is like how you're having conversations with people about getting tested.

I'll be honest, so many women don't feel comfortable talking about it, and they don't feel comfortable advocating for themselves. But let's go ahead and just put you in a position to where you can kind of empower yourself, and it it isn't something. It's not a judgment thing. It brings that peace of mind that y'all can just do what y'all do and have a good time. Yeah.

I say, get tested together, and that's beautiful. Brings you closer together. Listen to Love Lately with Lauren La Rosa from iHarts Ruby Studio on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Brought to you by Gilead Sciences. Nine hundred and eleven.

What's your emergency? Please help us. They're everywhere. We can't. They're murder hornets.

911 Nashville returns. What's the homicide detective doing here? Three bodies on the ground, with emergencies of biblical proportions. I will send swarms upon you and upon your people. That's one of the places in the Bible.

And somebody's unleashing them on Nashville. Brian Filippi joins 911 Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. So one of those races that we got to get into, I have to get a, I'm gonna have to get a drink of my soda for this one, guys.

Now, has to do with Vivek Ramaswamy.

Now, I don't dislike Vivek. I've been pretty critical of him on certain things. When do you guys know how I play? I credit where due. I criticize where due.

Right? That's just how I've always been. I'm not changing that for anybody. That's how we've always been on the show, and I don't need to ingrate. I don't need to be like Tucker Carlson and ass kiss these candidates and ingratiate myself because I'm obsessed with being a kingmaker as a way to try to like, you know, make up for trauma, childhood trauma or entitlement that I mistook as trauma.

You know what I'm saying?

So I don't need to do any of that stuff. But This Vivek Ramaswamy was a Tucker candidate. That was a candidate that Tucker Carlson really advocated for, just like he did with the vice president. But Vivek is a is a Tucker creation. That's a Tucker candidate.

Let's just be honest about it now. I don't think that he's a bad guy. I know some people are like, "Oh, I don't. All I care about is this. He's running against a Democrat, and I don't like the Democrat." When you are running against a Democrat, what comes down to who's going to advance the interests of the nation better, and it's not going to be Amy Acton.

Bottom line, they came out with this ad though, and I don't like the ad. And I'm going to explain to you with some. Information you've never heard before on this program, and it's very personal.

So Vivek Ramaswamy ran this ad from Amy Acton's mom. It's a new ad. I hesitate to play some of it. Should we play some of it just to show people what we're talking about?

Okay, let's go. I'm I'm not playing this whole damn thing. I'm going to show you some of it, and then we're going to talk about this. Watch. Name is Donna Arthur, and I'm Amy Acton's mother.

I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America. I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent, it's not easy for a mother to say this. But Amy has a serious problem. She is a liar. She lies about her past.

She She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She's lied her entire life. My daughter needs help, and she can't help you if she needs help. I just about can't.

I just about can't. I thought this ad was absolutely ridiculous, and I think that woman is garbage. Here's the true story of it. I ran it down so you didn't have to. I'm going off of everything that's been widely reported about her.

The reason that they have this issue, apparently, is because they have been estranged for years, and there is a very good reason why they have been estranged for years. The reason is apparently when Amy Acton was younger, this woman, her her second husband. Was accused of molesting her, and the mom stood by him. There's a lot of reporting about this. Apparently, there's documentation covering it, and I always get weirded out whenever I see people use their family members in political ads this way.

I don't like it because I feel like if you can't debate just on that, you don't need to be going into their family history. And dredging up stuff that you were not part of and you were not privy to, and you have no idea. I get very angry about this, and I'm going to tell you why in a moment.

So that's apparently the truth about. That's how it's being reported. The apparently the situation is that, and Amy Acton responded to this. She put out a statement. Through her brother, condemning, you know, they said their estranged and abusive brother.

It said that after Acton, she endured sexual abuse at twelve years old from their birth mother mother's husband. He was arrested, and the brother said that he and his sister Amy Acton were removed from their custody, and the birth mother stayed married to Amy's rapist until he died.

So they, she stayed with him until he died.

So that's apparently what the situation is now. I still think that you should vote for Vivek Ramaswamy because Amy Acton's a socialist Democrat. I don't need to go into her family history, but people, y'all, need to be careful about using family members. and Let me give you an example: Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Moms Demand Action, a Michael Bloomberg funded anti gun group, literally solicited. My violent, abusive, domestic abuser, pos father.

When you grow up, and one of the first sounds that you remember from your childhood memory is hearing the bones in your mom's arms snap between your father's hands, that's a big deal. You want to know why I got into Second Amendment so much? Is because I grew up with a mom who needed it to protect herself from a domestic abuser.

So, when Shannon Watts of Mom's Demand platformed my abusive father, and don't think for a second that I cannot bury this woman with receipts, because by the time I say it, I got a book on it. This woman solicited my violent, abusive stalker of a domestic abuser father. And tried to shame me away from Second Amendment activism by platforming him in front of the nation. And not a single one of these rat bastard leftists, who are crying out about this ad, including her, had a problem with it at the time. Oh boy, they were eager to platform it.

They were eager to work with a domestic abuser. In order to achieve their political ends, so I know a little something about watching people platform horrible estranged family members that you haven't seen for decades. For good reason, I know a little something about it.

So that ad was bad, but I still. All damn day will vote for the Republican over the Socialist Democrat. Because why would I abuse myself a second time? What's the homicide detective doing here? Three bodies on the ground with emergencies of biblical proportions. I will send swarms upon you and upon your people. Let's find the plates in the Bible. And somebody's unleashing them on Nashville.

Ryan Phillippe joins Nine One One Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm not. I'm not a Super Bowl. Real big Super Bowl viewer.

I know a lot of people are. I know are people still mad at the NFL or did we all forget about that? I don't know. What's the? Do we have the rule?

Gamblers are a little more upset than the average person.

Well, I never know because it changes so often. I don't know what I don't know what the rule is.

So the reason I say this is because usually, at least, you could kind of maybe count on the. Um, I guess. Super Bowl halftime show, maybe, but now, according to news reports, Jay Z has apparently selected himself for the halftime show performance.

Now he has a contract with the NFL to produce these halftime shows, these Super Bowl halftime shows. And I, I don't know. I, I just haven't been super stoked with the latest all of this stuff. You know what I'm saying?

I mean, you look at who's been. Let me look at the. These are the past Super Bowl halftime performances.

So, in 2017, let's go back to 2017. 2017, you had Lady Gaga.

Okay. 2018, you had Justin Timberlake. 2019, Maroon 5. I do like Big Boy. He was a Travis Scott, so I I do like Big Boy.

You had Shakira and Jennifer and J Lo. 2020, I like Shakira though. 21, you had The Weeknd. 22, that's when you add Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Mary J Blige, Kendrick Lamar. 23, you had Rihanna.

24, you had Ursher. 25, you had Kendrick Lamar again. 26, you had Bad Bunny with Lady Gaga again. Um, is it? I don't know.

Is it so bad that we can't have like a Metallica, Prince, to this day was the best Super Bowl halftime show, and then it began to literally rain when he was performing. The denouement of Purple Rain at the end of it, and it was glorious, and it was spectacular. And I just feel like, since I don't know the past five years, it's been very underwhelming, right? It's been underwhelming. Does everything have to be rap and hip hop performance?

There are other genres of music. There are a lot of other people that watch NFL. That maybe would like to see some guitar, just saying. You know what I mean? Like, is it is it that difficult?

You couldn't get some Chris Stapleton up in there. You know what I mean? You couldn't get some Miranda Lambert up in there. Hell, you couldn't get some Aerosmith. I mean, come on.

See what I'm saying? I mean, I've got some questions.

So I don't know. They keep saying, "Well, it's not confirmed yet." New York Post and everybody else is reporting this.

So I don't know. I just don't. I don't. Does it seem super nepo? Yeah, it seems like self promotion.

I don't know if I think he's done a good job with this with the Super Bowl halftime shows. I mean, I don't know. Lorraine's makes a good point. She's like, if you've been following the Kendrick Drake beef, then that was fun when Kendrick Lamar was up there. Yeah, but he, yeah, I get it.

But also.

Sorry, he's not an arena performer. You can be good, which you know that can also be subjective, but not everybody's an arena performer, y'all. That's like the biggest stage. You know, they only get scale; they only get like one to two grand for for the appearance, and then the NFL handles the entire production and the exposure is the, you know, you can't really put a price tag on what you're getting. The whole nation's captivated by.

You know, can you say Super Bowl? Are they going to get all their butts puckered and sue us for? Because you can't even say the word. You have to say the big game on broadcast. You can't even say the word.

Is that so? Should I just? I mean, if you're doing a promotion for your entity, your show, your radio station, whatever, you can't use the term Super Bowl. When you're reporting on it, you can.

Well, true.

So. I don't know. I I just feel like it's if he if it is him and everybody's saying it is. It just seems we need some rock and roll. We need a good rock and roll show.

Don't forget about the rest of America. We need a good rock and roll show. We've done this for like ten years now, and Maroon Five does not cut it. Dear sweet heavens, no, does not cut it. Not at all.

I don't want to hear somebody with the timber of a post op. Don't. I said it. I mean it. Who would you have though?

Who would you guys have? Chad, give me some suggestions. If you were doing the Super Bowl halftime show, Steve, who would you have? Super Bowl halftime show. Tell the folks.

I saw a list.

Some I saw a list somewhere that was like the ones that everybody voted on that haven't played yet. And there were some interesting ones, like some of the newer ones. Like I don't think the Foo Fighters have ever played the Super Bowl. I would have chosen them. That would be actually decent.

I could deal with that. I could deal with some Foo Fighters. I could deal with that. Kane, who would you have? I mean, if I had the choice, I'd pick like an ACDC or a.

They're all Australian. Yeah. So it's got to be American. Does it have to be? Yes, it does.

I don't know. I feel like AC/DC is pretty American. I love them. I've seen them a million times. I even go see their cover bands.

Don't care.

Well, Metallica is definitely American, so I definitely vote. And they got the thing at the Sphere that nobody can get tickets to.

So that's true. I'm just saying that would be a great. Oh my gosh! Can you imagine? Can you imagine?

Don't tread on me. Super Bowl halftime, ride the lightning, ride the lightning! Oh my gosh! Oh, can you imagine? I'm just saying.

So, I'm curious. What would chat have? I'm curious. I'm very curious as to what they would. I um, I just don't.

I don't need a a flipping Jay Z. No funds, but we need a break. Give us some rock and roll. Give us some blues, bass, rock. And it needs to be American.

I know Ken loves AC/DC, but y'all, it needs to be an American artist. No offense, love. Nobody loves AC/DC more than me, probably. Just saying. But it needs to be, and you can't have Journey because Steve Perry can is not what it's not Journey without Steve Perry.

Steve Perry, by the way, was a gift from the Lord to everyone with ears to hear. Just gonna say that Steve Perry. Is probably one of the best male vocalists that has ever lived on this planet. Would I? Would I kill for him?

Probably. I'm just saying.

So, but it's not Journey without glorious Steve Perry. Much respect on his name. Just saying. Ah, I don't know Chicago. No Yacht Rock.

No Yacht Rock. I'm gonna call it now. No. None. I don't.

I don't know. Ah, I just can't. It needs to be something super energetic, high intensity, high octane. Punch you in the face with the guitar, beat you with the bass, you know, double kick you into oblivion. It needs to be something like that.

I'm just saying, like something. Foo would work. Foo Fighters would work. Aerosmith would work. That'd be good.

Metallica that'd be work.

Somebody said Blink One Eighty Two, and I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that.

Somebody in chat said.

Somebody in chat said that I'm gonna pretend I did not see that one. I didn't see it.

Someone also suggested Weird Al Yankovic, and I'm. I don't hate it. Don't hate that one. Lincoln Park, their guy's dead. He can't.

It's not the same. Was the name Chester? Not the same.

So I don't know. Like it's tough. Who would you? You know. I mean, it's difficult.

So when you think about it, mull it over. Mull it over. Let's think about it a little bit. Let's think. But I'm just saying we need something different now.

I got a couple of other things. They are doing. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up.

Maybe pull this up.

Someone said Slipknot. I don't hate that. I don't hate that. Okay. NFL.

What do you have? You guys heard about this?

So they're doing. They have their Thanksgiving night show. Packers versus Rams. And I'm immediately going to root for the Packers because if you know anything about St. Louis history with the Rams, then there you go.

So, they said, NFL says they're introducing you to a new Thanksgiving tradition, and they're going to start having a giant halftime show on Thanksgiving night for their games on Thanksgiving, and they've announced that you two, an Irish band, is going to be playing the Thanksgiving Eve. Halftime on Thanksgiving Eve.

Sorry, Packers v Rams, November twenty fifth.

SoFi, and they're gonna. It's gonna be live on Netflix.

So they're gonna.

So technically, it's not Thanksgiving. It's Thanksgiving Eve. They said it's gonna be a new tradition. I don't think so. It's not gonna be.

But they have YouTube playing it.

Someone said Guns and Roses. If Axle could sing a whole show without dying, and I've seen them twice lately, you would be correct. You know, Pantera playing. It's not. I'm sorry, Rip Dimebag.

I can't. Can't. Nah, can't. I see. There's all these little caveats.

So, Steve Aoki would be interesting. I'd accept that. I'd accept Steve. Yeah, and Nugent, obviously. But what do you guys feel about you two Thanksgiving Eve?

I don't know. It's weird. It's Irish band. You know what I mean. And he's gotten a little bit too political.

I sat literally right next to him at the State of the Union once. He was right in the next thing over because he was with the Bidens, and he walked in with Doctor Jill Biden. Is not really a doctor. He walked in with her. No joke.

So I don't know. I'm just weird about it. See, that's the thing. I don't want to be weird and have to be like, what did they say about this before? But that's what the left has done.

Also, if you've ever cried on stage, you can't play. Green Day, no Green Day. Whoever suggested Green Day, Lorraine, arrest them right now. Arrest them now. Cuffs, right now.

You two, straight to jail. Did the 2002 one at halftime for the Super Bowl, and it was that tribute. After nine eleven, and it was it was very heartfelt.

So even though they're not, I mean, are they? They're American, yeah, or not? Are they just an Irish band? They're Irish as a day long, but they never resided or never. They left because the taxes for a while.

I always thought they were just an Irish band that were American, but they're.

Someone said, "Damn Yankees, nobody likes you too. Everybody hates them. No, nobody likes them. All right, somewhere, but that's the Thanksgiving Eve show." So, all I am saying is this: I feel like they need to have a little metal, little or rock and roll, little blues-based rock, right? Little blues-based rock, American.

I mean, ZZ Top would be epic, but they just had a death too. But still, you could do, you could do that. We got a lot more on the way as we roll the words today. And stupidity, our partners that help bring you. The program—it's our friends at Relief Factor.

So on my new audio series, Love Lately, I'm getting into the conversations we're really having about love, relationships, and our sexual health. Every week, it's me and Dr. Contessa Metcalf, my big sister with a medical degree, breaking down what the culture says versus what the doctor says, and helping make sense of it all. Get into it. Another thing me and my friends don't really talk about is like how you're having conversations.

With people about getting tested, I'll be honest.

So many women don't feel comfortable talking about it, and they don't feel comfortable advocating for themselves. But let's go ahead and just put you in a position to where you can kind of empower yourself, and it isn't something. It's not a judgment thing. It brings that peace of mind that y'all can just do what y'all do and have a good time. Yeah, I say get tested together, and that's beautiful.

Brings you closer together. Listen to Love Lately with Lauren La Rosa from iHarts Ruby Studio on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Brought to you by Gilead Sciences. Nine hundred and one. What's your emergency?

Ryan Phillippe joins Nine One One Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash. With you, we're at the bottom of this first hour. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday? You guys ready?

It said that it was addressed to students of the Lash family. Guys, want to see the front of it? I don't know. It's uh, it says Texas Trans and Alphabet Student Rizzler's Guide. Uh yeah, it says you're not alone.

There are people in Texas who like help you find support and stuff. That's what it says. Let's look at it together because I looked up the group that supposedly sent this out, and they just have like a little post office box. That's it. A little PO box.

That's it. Literally, and nobody knows who did it. I have a couple of different competing theories, but.

So it says, "Oh, hey guys, you don't figure out everything yourself." It even tells kids like, "If you want to get transed, and your parents won't let you, here's how you can get emancipated." It tells it—it's instructions, like step-by-step instructions for this. This was sent out to every family that has student-aged kids. And I saw them coming in the mailboxes. My friends were posting about it, and I thought, "No way! Oh my gosh!" And it did.

I feel so gross with this. It's in oh, but it it says you can begin your journey. The organization draws the best students. You want to get toians? We all float down here.

I didn't say that part, but. That's the whole thing. It gets into how you can begin your journey with an organization trusted by students, and it lists the trans organization in Texas here, which is called Transgender Education Something of Texas. But that group says we didn't put this out. And they were, I think, they were a little aggravated because you know there is a lot of.

Apparently, they think that there is some scarcity at the table of freak shows, and so yeah, they. I mean, there is literally a subsection. What if I want to be emancipated? You know, what if my parents aren't supportive of me when I want to lob off my, you know, phallus? Like, can I go out of state for care?

I I mean it literally says yeah you can and if you're underage well we can figure a way around that. This is predatory and heinous and this was sent out to every again every household in Texas where they have student age kids. I. I just cannot even. I've never, in all of my years, I've never seen anything like this.

Now, you, I told you I had a competing theory, right? What if? Hear me out. What if it was a Republican that? Because it arrived right with my Tallerico mailers that I also didn't ask for.

All my mail is just political mailers, but it also arrived with one of my Tallerico things. Which makes me wonder, is it? Could it be him? I don't know. But one of the competing theories I have is, what if it was a Republican group that sent this out, or or like a Republican because it's not a group, so it's not a pack.

It's not they no nothing put this out. There's there's uh literally it goes to a, P.O. box in Meadows Place, Texas. That's so. It's very odd, and I've I've tried looking this up.

I know, yeah. We we everybody's been looking this up, and it's like way down. It's near Houston. It's like just outside of Houston. It's about.

It's a little over four hours from where we are.

So this is the group that we don't know anything about them. We don't know anything about them, and apparently no one else does either. I have friends that have been looking into it, and they were saying, "Yeah, it's not a pack. It's not. It's it's a mystery as to who's sending this out." And the they talk about gender affirming care.

It teaches minors about hormones. Here's the other thing that I was thinking of. Parents and grandparents out there, how many of your kids and grandkids go and actually check the mail and look for mail for themselves in the mailbox, right?

So who is it for? You know what I'm saying?

You don't send something like this out to people's houses. If you're the trans people, they are real. I mean, honestly, I feel like they're very. Sneaky, they're very surreptitious about the stuff. They don't want to run the risk of losing a recruit, so they're not going to let parents know what's going on.

They're not going to make you. They're not going to allow you to be aware of this. They're not going to make. They're not going to allow you to be aware of it all.

So, I have all these different competing theories. One is that it was sent as a. It's a saboteur. And it was sent to make it look really bad, and it was sent along the same day as a bunch of Tallerico stuff came, because all of my friends that got this yesterday too, it all came with their Tallerico mailers, every single one of them. And I talked to twelve people in my town alone, and then I talked to a couple of my friends that live outside in neighboring towns.

They also got the same thing, also with the Taller. I'm just saying.

So it's either a saboteur who decided. We're going to put out a very realistic looking. They they don't name a group themselves. They refer you to an already existing group, and the already existing group, the Texas Education Network or whatever, said that they weren't the ones to put it out, because there has been a visceral reaction to this from everybody, including Democrats in my town. Democrats were on Facebook.

Oh, I looked everywhere last night. Democrats were on Facebook, going, "Well, while while I support it, I just don't. I don't really think that's appropriate to have it sent." All of them were saying this.

So it's either a saboteur, which well done, Machiavelli would be very proud, or it's it's one of the nuts. And okay, I'm not. Everybody has a generational name, and I'm not saying this as a pejorative, but. Boomer progressives are different from Gen X progressives, who are different from Millennial progressives, who are different from Gen Z progressives. Gen Z progressives and Boomer progressives, I think, are equal parts nuts.

They're both insane. Boomer progressives, I feel like, have no sense of awareness or how ridiculous they look. Gen X can still be friends with other people for the most part, and I think millennials can kind of too. Maybe I don't know boomers, maybe. But boomer progressives in my town, the nuttiest people are the boomer progressives.

They're the ones who try to crash rallies. They aggravate people, you know, in and about town. If they're just trying to shop or go to a restaurant, they're like in the middle of the street, screeching, taking pictures of you and your kids, taking pictures of your license plate. They're nuts.

So that's why I think maybe it was one of them that did it because it lacks complete self awareness. The other thing. That I had mentioned too. That kind of goes along with that. I don't think that this was someone under the age of fifty who came up with and sent this out because if it's it's written like it is to the student, right?

Not and maybe that's on purpose. Maybe that's a red herring. Maybe that was done to really make you think. Wow, look how easily it is to get at your kids. And it's almost a you know a a low key threatening kind of thing.

Or maybe it's literally a progressive boomer who doesn't realize that anybody under the age of like you know thirty doesn't go and check the they don't go and check the mailbox for mail because all their stuff is digital all their stuff is email it's LinkedIn it's portals it's you know it's nothing like this all their their bills are auto pay and it's digital and they check their bank accounts on an app nobody goes and gets to the you know what I mean nobody goes to the post office and gets the mailbox and gets this. Because that's not how kids are looking at it.

So, was it written to kids and purposefully sent in a way that makes it obvious that kids aren't going to be the one to get it? Am I overthinking this? No, I am exploring everything. They also include a Trans Texas takeover tour. Let me open that for you.

Hold up. So, on this page right here, they say that they have a. Trans Texas Takeover Tour, and apparently they have stops that the alleged organization plans to make, and nobody knows any. Yeah, nobody knows anything about it. They have an Instagram account that's like pretty vague.

The it's just weird. There's no business linked to this address. There's no PAC linked to this address. The organization that was. That they cite in this says they didn't do it.

I don't know. It's just very weird. It is very weird. The trans group that does exist said, you know, we're aware that this is being sent out and we did not authorize, approve, or distribute this. They don't know who it is, but I don't really get the sense that they're very interested in finding out who it is.

Either.

So, this was ridiculous. And you know nobody in my house is raised to buy into any of this, but the fact that they sent it to through in a way where you know its intended audience is not going to be the first to see it, and that the intended audience probably won't see it because they sent it to your P.O. box. If they were really trying to reach kids, they would be sending messages on TikTok, and they would be doing it on Snapchat, and they'd be doing it on Insta.

Okay, would you explain to me what you just said? Hang on, Kane, because so Kane said something that I've seen repeated on X. I need you to repeat because I don't understand that. You put this out on X already? No, no, no, no, no, no.

Well, I yeah, it's on X. I I posted this on X last night. I didn't see it.

All right, so. This wasn't meant for air, but too bad. The decision on the cover, hold that up. To join hands through two glory holes is pretty telling. Has me voting for anyone other than Talafrika.

But why do you think it? Oh, I just now got what you said, right? Because the right there. Oh, what what the hell is that about? This was so a boomer progressive that did this.

I think so. Oh my gosh! But think of it though. How many of you would have kids that would go and get this out of the mailbox? None.

But that just kind of goes to show you. I don't know. I mean, I, I feel like it backfired, and maybe that was the intention. Maybe that was the intention to have it backfire like that. I don't know.

But it's incredibly odd. We have a lot more on the way as we roll into headlines. Our partners that bring you the program. It's our friends at Alliance Defending Freedom. They have been the tip of the spear for a very long time.

They have been in courtrooms. They have been in state legislatures. They have been everywhere, standing up not just for your rights, but also for your children. And that's the thing: what they do. Is establish legal precedents upon which you can build victory after victory.

They want a huge free speech victory on behalf of a Christian counselor before the Supreme Court, but ADF relies on people like you to continue fighting the battles—battles of protecting your children against being transed forcibly by the government, protecting parents so that they can raise their children in good conscience, with with morals and virtue. They've been protecting you everywhere, but they can't do it alone. There's an opportunity right now to make your support go even further. Every dollar you give will be matched by a special grant, while funds last, and that means your gift today can have twice the impact in defending the freedoms we hold dear.

All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. Ninety-four thousand Hyundai's, Hyundai's, Hyundai's are recalled because of a seat issue. It ejects you out of the the window in mid traffic.

I'm kidding. No, no. It says the front power seat. It's not anything as dramatic or as entertaining as that. It's pretty boring.

Says the front power seat motors could overheat if the control switch gets stuck.

Okay, well that can cause a fire if they're being driven and/or parked. Or just existing, according to the National Highway. Wait, that's literally what the. Listen to this: it says, the stuck switch can cause a fire while the vehicles are being driven or parked.

So, really, it doesn't matter. It can just cause a fire, period. Right.

So, if you, they said, listen, if you have one of the recalled Hyundai's, you should park it outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until it's fixed. Anything from twenty fifteen, twenty sixteen, seventeen, twenty, all of them.

So go look at it. There is a lot of them. A lot, ninety four thousand. That's a lot. That's quite a lot.

So a flight from St. Louis to Philly had to emergency land because the engine just wouldn't start. They had to make an emergency landing because the engine just wouldn't start. It was going to Philly. Pretty terrifying.

It was a Saturday morning. Oxygen masks dropped down. Passengers were told to run away from the plane after it made an emergency landing. It was supposed to take off at six a.m. and then they came over and said the engines aren't going.

They won't start. They were eventually cleared for takeoff, but then they depart. Why would you still depart if you are having engine problems before you took off? Why in t f are you departing? Right.

Because then they had to immediately go back, and it was crazy. They said they thought the plane was going to go down because of the way the crew was behaving. They were freaking out, texting their kids, people texting their kids, "We're going to die!" All this stuff. They had fumes in the cockpit. Why would you take off though?

Because they had the issue before they took off. I mean, for crying out loud, there was one time I was on a plane when we had to get off and get on a different plane because someone's seat wouldn't stop reclining. But this one, they're like, "Oh well, we have an engine issue. Can't get the plane off the ground. Oh, it works now.

Let's go, everybody." I mean, whoa! Doesn't make any sense. Stay with us. We got a lot more in store.

Ryan Phillippe joins 911 Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. Welcome back. Make sure you go find the Substack as well. Lots of good stuff out there for you. And the latest.

I got to get into this because apparently I got two things. Actually, where to start?

So two things. I have a California bakery owner. That ended up, they decided to get political, and they had to close after fifty years. And they're they're blaming backlash for their criticism of ICE, and because they are Hamas adjacent, they they were supporting the Hamas government in Gaza. It's Nabloom Bakery in Berkeley.

They were in business for fifty years, and they apparently got so nasty politically that it blew up at them in Berkeley.

So that kind of gives you an indication as to how ignorant they were. Ugh, that's pretty rough.

So we'll talk more about that tomorrow. We also have Abdul Elsayed apparently got in trouble because he did a fried chicken video. We might have to save this for tomorrow. Where? Oh my gosh, it's so.

Watch, it's so bad. You know what you're getting?

Okay, get in the black and salmon. Black and salmon. Yeah, I'm not gonna embarrass myself and eat nachos on television.

Okay. I'm gonna go with the fried chicken, two pieces, please. And that's gonna be all for you. Yes. Thank you.

No problem. Thank you. So it was this longer video, and he, they ate the food, and he was just—it was him pandering because he's apparently struggling with black voters in Michigan. Because black voters in Michigan, there are a lot of Christian voters that are black in Michigan, and they're taking great exception to some of the stuff that he's been doing and saying.

So that didn't work well for him. It didn't work well for Hillary Clinton either. I mean, does nobody take a lesson from history? No one else pays attention to history. I can't.

I don't know, man. I don't know. But this—that was his black voter outreach video. And it was very awkward.

So these are two things that we'll have for you tomorrow. In the meantime, today's stupidity came.

Well, it's what Democrats know. You know, it's all about racial division. They always got to break people up into different categories. It's just what they do. And Cut Twenty Six is an example of that.

This is Joy Reid. Apparently, if all white people were just sent to the moon, and only non-white people voted. Apparently that means Republicans would never win.

So here's Joyless Reid. Go ahead. This is the end of the grift. The grift can only go on. Why does she look like grimace?

In the most anti-racist way, is if white people stop going along with it. Because the reality is, if white people went to the moon and only non-white people could vote, Republicans would never win. They only win because white, particularly men, it's all about race for them. It's never about policies that work or don't work. When did Grimace shave his head?

I liked him so much in the Happy Meal. Don't disparage Grimace like that. Love the Happy Meal, the Happy Meal toys, and like the late '80s were the best, folks. That does it for us tonight. Hope you have a great rest of your day.
