I'm going to take a little more time today and really open up the extraordinary nature of contemporary Jew hatred. I need to sound the alarm one more day. And no people is so near and yet so far. So, when I was in Israel a few years ago, I spoke at a very controversial conference called Christ at the Checkpoint. It is a Christian-based conference that I have absolutely said is not just anti-Zionist, but at points anti-Semitic. Every two years when they have the conference, they invite someone to come in from a different viewpoint. So I was invited in, and I felt the Lord wanted me to go.
I had many friends and colleagues urging me not to, saying that this is just a token role that you play, that you're just being used when you do this, that there's no real room for dialogue. But I felt the Lord was sending me in as a witness, and thankfully I had people apologize to me afterwards, some even publicly, because they had urged me not to go and even corrected me for going. And when I went with tears, because I felt real love for the people, and I felt just a glimpse of the pain that they live with, just a glimpse of some of the hopelessness that they live with, just a glimpse of some of the feeling that the Christian world stands against them, that here they are suffering under the hands of the Jewish people, and the Christians stand with the Jews, whereas Christians stand with persecuted Christians around the world, but not them. And I said, listen, if I am to get evangelical Christians in America to feel sympathy and solidarity with you, you really need to completely denounce Hamas and PLO. To the extent you're associated with them, to the extent that you're events associated with them, to the extent that you're perceived as showing solidarity to them, you're not going to get sympathy of evangelical Christians in America. And to the extent that you yourselves are not speaking outwardly, clearly, and loudly against the slaughter of Jews by radical Islam, it's going to be hard for us to get sympathy for you. And to the extent you still hold to replacement theology and say that God is finished with the Jewish people as a people, yes, they can still have their land within older borders, 67 borders in your view, or whatever your particular view was as Palestinian Christians, you still acknowledge that there could be a state of Israel, a Jewish state, but bottom line is that you say God's finished with Israel as a people, that Israel has no connection to biblical prophecies. As long as you hold to those things, it's going to be very difficult to get evangelical Christians in America standing with you and siding with you because they'll perceive that you're on the wrong side of these issues. I understood also they're between a rock and a hard place because they're a tiny minority among the Muslims there, and a decreasing minority in certain places since Palestinian control of Bethlehem, for example, the Christian population is greatly reduced, and there's far more liberty for Arab Christians living in the land of Israel proper than in the West Bank or Gaza.
So I understand they're in a difficult position. In fact, I was going to ask them when I spoke to publicly stand and denounce Hamas and any connection with Islamic terrorism, I realized that's very unfair to ask them to stand up publicly and do that because some of them could be putting their lives on the line if they do. In any case, while I was there at the conference, I saw an organization called True News with a fellow named Rick Wiles. I didn't know him.
I think I'd heard the name. In True News, I thought it was just Christian broadcasting. Well, their views were already going in a strongly anti-Israel way.
The conference really pushed them even further. And then Rick Wiles has since come out in the most blatantly, blatantly anti-Semitic, anti-Israel bashing views imaginable. I reached out privately. I offered to come on their network. I offered to have him online. I offered to do a public debate.
All those invitations have been declined. But this is Christian news channel. This is what many people are hearing. I'm just reporting, friends.
I'm just telling you the truth because we need to know it. He said the power of the Israeli lobby in America is the most detrimental force in America. Our culture has been decimated through abortion, pornography and the sexual liberation movement, filthy, raunchy movies and television shows, violent rap music and hip hop, and all of it owned by the synagogue of Satan. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Did you get that? According to Rick Wiles in True News, violent rap music, that's owned by Jews. Sexual liberation movement, owned by Jews. Abortion movement, owned by Jews. Pornography, raunchy movies, et cetera, owned by Jews. Violent hip hop, owned by Jews, whom he then calls the synagogue of Satan.
Utterly remarkable. You say, yeah, but isn't that what Jesus said in the book of Revelation, that Jews are the synagogue of Satan? Didn't he say that himself?
Revelation chapter 2, 9, Revelation chapter 3, 9. No, that's not what he said. He was encouraging believers that were being persecuted in Smyrna, in Philadelphia, and said, I'm going to make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who say they're Jews, and I'm going to make them come and bow down before you. In other words, they are opposing you, they are opposing the preaching of the gospel, I'm going to make them come and bow down before you. They claim to be Jews and they are not. You say, yeah, he's saying all Jews are the synagogue of Satan. No, no, that's not what Revelation is saying. That's not what Jesus was saying there.
What he was saying was, one of two things. Either there were Gentiles who claimed to be Jews and were not, just like some cults today in different groups today, they claim to be Jews, the original Israelites, and they're not. They claim to be Jews and they're not Jews, and they're opposing you, and I'm going to humble them, and they're going to bow before you. For example, in Revelation 2, to the church of Ephesus, Jesus says there that you tested those who claimed to be apostles and were not, right?
So, here you have a perfect example. They claim to be Jews, they're not claiming to be apostles, not so. It could well be that they were Gentiles, some type of cult or sect claiming to be Jews, and they were opposing the preaching of the gospel. Yeshua calls them a synagogue of Satan. Or, he's talking about people who really were Jews, but by their behavior were acting like children of the devil, by their actively opposing the preaching of the gospel and the ministry of the gospel in these churches, and they're Jews, but they're really not. In other words, just like if I am addressing a group of men and they're acting like cowards, they'll say, you're not men. Well, of course they're biological men, they're males, but they're not acting like men, they're cowards.
So, that's one of two choices. Either he's speaking of Gentiles who claimed to be Jews and were not, or he's speaking about Jews who by their very behavior were acting like children of the devil. How does, where does that say that all Jews worldwide are children of Satan? Or all Jews worldwide are a synagogue of Satan? Or all Jews today who claim to be Jews really are not but a synagogue of Satan? It doesn't!
There's zero connection between it. If you wanted to make an application, let's say there were religious Jews who were actively persecuting a messianic congregation in Israel and violently stopping them from trying to preach the gospel, and Yeshua rebuked them and said, you're a synagogue of Satan, you claim to be Jews, you're not. You're not living as Jews should really live. But you could make a spiritual application like that, or to some cult today that's opposing the true preaching of the gospel and claiming to be real Jews, real Israelites, when they're not, you say the same thing to them.
That's it! Doesn't it say all Jews worldwide are the synagogue of Satan? Where?
How? But that's how anti-Semites refer to them. Rick Weil said this, the power of the Israeli lobby in America is the most detrimental force in America.
Our culture has been decimated through abortion, pornography, went on with that, and it's got to confront the synagogue of Satan. Here's a dialogue on the show one day. I'll just give the first names. Rick, Matt, Rick. Rick, the Soviet Communist Party was founded and run by Bolshevik Jews, and they killed tens of millions of Christians in Russia. Matt, when they scream, we want Messiah now, Messiah now, their Messiah to come back as a political leader.
They believe that these goyim, Gentiles, would be their slaves. Rick, they're teaching future military officers Messianic values, which means that they are instilling that the Jewish Messiah will be a military leader. Edward, that's what Judas wanted. Matt, that's why they rejected Jesus. Rick, they wanted to murder Romans. Ben Shapiro said they're looking for a military Messiah.
Matt, it's time to wake up, people. Again, further quote from True News. This is a Christian news network. That's the way the Jews work. They are deceivers.
They plot, they lie, they do whatever they have to do to accomplish their political agenda. This impeach Trump effort is a Jew coup, and the American people better wake up to it really fast because this thing is moving out toward a vote in the House and then a trial in the Senate. We could have a trial before Christmas a couple years ago.
It didn't happen. This country could be in civil war at Christmas time. Members of the U.S. military are going to have to take a stand just like they did in the 1860s with the Civil War. They're going to have to decide, are you fighting for the North or the South? In other words, are you fighting against the Jews or not?
He even said you better be armed. This is the kind of rhetoric that's spreading like cancer. And who's going to stop it?

Since the Jews are so demonized, since the Jews are so hated, since there's all this rhetoric about the synagogue of Satan, I don't have time to get into it now. In the Christian anti-Semitism book, we get into it in depth. The Noahide law hysteria that the Jews are going to impose the seven laws of Noah on the earth and start beheading Christians. I mean, just this absolute drivel, nonsense, ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous stuff. Let's go into some of the prayers and ethics of the Jewish people.
Oh, let's find a couple here. Here's some of the things that are found in some Jewish literature, the Talmud. How can we avoid coming under the power of transgression? What does the Talmud say about this? The evil Talmud, full of blasphemies, allegedly sanctioning pedophilia. What does the Talmud say about this? How can we avoid coming under the power of transgression?
This is in the Talmud. Contemplate these three things. Know it is above you, an all-seeing eye, an all-hearing ear, and all your deeds recorded in a book. How should we serve God? Do you not be like servants that minister to the master on the condition of receiving a reward?
But be like servants that minister to the master without the condition of receiving a reward, and let the fear of heaven be upon you. How should we pray? He who makes his prayer a mechanical task, his prayer is not prayer. One should not pray in levity and jest, but in gravity and the joy of doing good. Prayer is greater than sacrifices. Prayer is the service of the heart.
Prayer is acceptable only if the soul is offered with it. What is true repentance, and how powerful is it? Whoever says, I shall sin and repent, I shall sin and repent, repentance will not be vouchsafed to him.
Once a man repents, stop reminding him of what he did. Great is repentance, for it brings healing to the world. Great is repentance, for it reaches the throne of glory, for it brings redemption, for it lengthens a man's life. These are excerpts of Talmudic concepts. The Lord said, I cannot bring myself to look upon a wicked man, but if he repents, I shall crown him with a crown like unto my own. How should a man love God?
These are just excerpts from the Talmud, okay? What is the fitting love of God? Is that a man should love God with an extraordinary powerful love to the extent that his soul becomes tied to the love of God so that he pines for it unceasingly.
It should be as if he were lovesick, unable to get the woman he loves out of his mind, pining for all the time when he eats or drinks. Even more than this should be the love of God in the hearts of those who love him and yearn constantly for him as he has commanded us with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 6, 5. What did the rabbi say about love for man? All that you do, do only out of love. This is Talmud and other ancient rabbinic literature.
How about this? On Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, traditional Jews spend many hours in the synagogue repeating lengthy prayers of confession, of sin and repentance, asking for mercy. From the outside it can seem repetitious and empty, but for a religious Jew it is full of meaning. One of the prayers that is recited says this, we are your nation and you are our God. We are your children and you are our father. We are your servants and you are our master. We are your congregation and you are our portion. We are your inheritance and you are our lot. We are your sheep and you are our shepherd. We are your vineyard and you are our keeper. We are your handiwork and you are our creator. We are your spouse and you are our beloved. We are your treasure and you are our God. We are your nation and you are our king. We are your distinguished ones and you are our distinction. We are brazen faced and you are merciful and gracious. We are stiff necked and you are slow to anger. We are filled with iniquity and you are filled with compassion.
We, our days are like a fleeting shadow and yours will never end. You know those are prayers, virtually every word of those, those are prayers that a Christian can pray and say those same words especially in confession of sin and hardness of heart. These are prayers that religious Jews pray.
This should break our hearts. This should give us a sense that no people is so near and yet so far. There's a whole chapter in Our Hands Are Stained with Blood with every title so near and yet so far and a whole chapter in Christian anti-Semitism where I separate fact from fiction regarding the Talmud. Let me just, let me read some prayers, alright? Adon Olam, Lord of the World or Master of the Universe is written almost a thousand years ago, the famous Jewish, Spanish Jewish poet, Solomon Ibn Gavirol. So every morning and night immediately before sleep these words are sung in prayer. So many Jews will recite these prayers a couple times during the day and it's a tradition that some will pray as they're nearing death.
So here's an English translation of the beautiful Hebrew. All strength is his, all sway he bears, he is the living God to save. My rock, all sorrows toils endure.
My banner and my stronghold sure, the cup of life whenever I crave. I place my soul within his palm before I sleep is when I wake. And though my body I forsake, rest in the Lord in fearless calm. When a Jewish person dies at the funeral service you see what's called the Kaddish, the Mortis Kaddish. Kaddish is a holy prayer, it's an Aramaic and in traditional Jewish household you'll recite that prayer daily for almost a year after that with a group of others with a minion. You'll pray it in the synagogue in memory of the dead and on behalf of the dead.
Listen to it, it doesn't even mention the dead. May his great name grow exalted and sanctified in the world that he created as he willed. May he give reign to his kingdom in your lifetimes and in your days and in the lifetimes of the entire family of Israel swiftly and soon. Now respond amen. May his great name be blessed forever and ever. Blessed, praised, glorified, exalted, extolled, mighty, upraised and lauded be the name of the Holy One. Blessed is his beyond any blessing and song, praise and consolation that are uttered in the world. Now respond amen. May there be abundant peace from heaven and life upon us and upon all Israel.
Now respond amen. You're not even talking about the dead specifically, you're talking about the kingdom of God and his purposes. Some of that prayer is so ancient that many believe it ties in with some of the words of the Lord's prayer. That God's name would be hallowed and his kingdom would come.
That's how ancient this is. Do Jewish people need Yeshua to be saved? Yes, because if righteousness could come through our own deeds or through the works of the law then his death would not have been necessary.
He died because there is no other way. But that should break your heart. Because when it comes to religious Jews, no people is so near and yet so far. And it's going to be your prayers of intercession and your broken heart lifting up words to God. On behalf of the Jewish people that will help hasten the salvation of Israel and thus hasten the return of the Messiah and the fulfilling of the purposes of God.
