Welcome friends to a very important broadcast today on the Line of Fire. I'm really going to share heart to heart. Thanks for tuning in.
This is Michael Brown. This is the last day of our entire month teaching about the Jewish roots of the faith, talking about why the Gospel is to the Jew first, talking about why Israel's salvation matters. I pray it's been a blessing to you. We'll talk later in the broadcast about key resources that will be of help to you moving forward. I'm so blessed, before I get into today's content, I'm so blessed to hear the responses of those who have been enjoying our Frontline newsletter.
We put a lot into it. We just launched it earlier this year and we're so pleased with the results that we're getting and people being impacted by it. So if you haven't signed up yet, go to thelineoffire.org.
Thelineoffire.org and sign up today right on the home page. We'll put you on our welcome tour. You'll find out a whole lot more about me and our ministry and what we can do to be a resource and blessing to you as we are here every day to infuse you with faith and truth and courage because we're together. We are.
It's real life. We're part of the same body, part of the same family, part of the same spiritual army, standing under the same Commander in Chief, same Heavenly Father, same Lord, serving one God with one purpose, to glorify Him whether by life or by death. So we're here for you, with you, right in the line of fire, standing on the front lines together. So we've gone through a lot of scripture. We've looked at whole chapters of the Bible. We've dug in deep to look at some key concepts along the way. And again, I'll mention resources to you that will cover all the ground that we covered on the air in case you missed any of the broadcasts.
And then if you're listening, driving in your car while working at home or jogging, it's a lot to take in. So these resources will be of help to you. We'll talk about our Jewish website as well and the materials there that are all free. But I just want to make a heartfelt appeal here. So not getting into heavy doctrinal issues today, just a heartfelt appeal as a Jewish follower of Jesus, Yeshua. Everything I've said thus far over these weeks is something that I could have said to you as a Gentile Christian. I could have said this to you as someone with no Jewish background, as someone without a call to Jewish ministry, as someone without a particular burden for Israel because I'm Jewish.
I could have said these to you as a pastor of any church, as a Christian leader, as a lover of Jesus, as a lover of the word, because the things I've talked about are universal truths. So for example, you may have a tremendous burden to minister to Native Americans in our country here in America. And that's the great burden that you carry. You would want others to be sympathetic to it, but you know not everyone is called to that.
You may have a real burden to help with the education of neglected children in the inner city from broken homes. You would want everyone to be sympathetic to it, but you know not everyone is called to that. You may have a particular burden to deepen prayer in the church or deepen worship or street evangelism or funding missions around the world or any of a host of other things. And you'd want everyone to share that burden, but you know that not everyone is called to that same thing. In the same way, I know that not everyone is called to focus on Jewish ministry. Not everyone is called to focus on Jewish apologetics. Not everyone is called to focus on going to Israel and supporting the believers there. But what I am saying, and I believe it reflects the Word of God and the heart of God, is that all of you should care about Israel's salvation. All of you should have a burden to see the Jewish people come to the Lord.
Yes, we should have a burden for every people, but it's hard to carry a burden for every single group and nation, obviously. But I'm saying, as I understand scripture and the heart of God, that this is important to the Lord. Again, these are the Messiah's own people. So the lostness of Jewish people is something that strikes him in a very deep way because they are his own people.
He came to his own and his own received him not. And he will not return until the Jewish Jerusalem welcomes him. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that we be praying for the salvation of the Jewish people. We also recognize because God has uniquely chosen Israel for service, does not guarantee the salvation of a single Jewish person. But the calling to service and the gifting remains because God has singled us out for his purposes. Satan has singled us out to destroy us and wipe us out. Therefore, we're standing with God against the devil when we oppose and expose the vile hatred of anti-Semitism.
And we oppose and expose wrong teaching in the body that opens the door to anti-Semitism. Again, this is why these things should matter to all of us as God's people. These things should matter to us because God has made promise to preserve Israel to the end. And if those promises are broken, then God's word is not true.
God himself is a liar. Therefore, again, we stand with God and against the devil in his attempts to wipe out the Jewish people. You say, well, we should stand against the genocide of any people.
Yes, correct. But there is one particular plan of Satan with massive implications. In other words, if God forbid, the Cambodian people were wiped out or the people of Latvia were wiped out or the people of Chile were wiped out, that would be an absolute horror. That would be horrific. That would be ugly.
That would be nauseating. Even the thought of it. Yet it would not impact the integrity of God because God never made a promise that those peoples would endure to the end. But he has made that promise about Israel.
So his reputation is at stake even more. He cares about each person just the same. Every person in Chile, every person in Latvia, every person in every country. He cares about each of them exactly the same. He loves each individual exactly the same. There's no favoritism in God. Yeshua shed the same blood for Jew and Gentile. There's joy in heaven the same way over Jew or Gentile that gets saved.
There's only one way to salvation and that's through Jesus the Messiah for all people. And yet God has tied his reputation in with Israel in a unique way. And therefore Israel's salvation should matter to every Christian.
We've also seen the horrors of church history. How so many Christians including Christian leaders were complicit in speaking evil vile things against the Jewish people which led to actual violence against Jewish people and continues to this day. Therefore the church owes it to the Jewish people to reveal the real Jesus and show the real nature of the church to the Jewish people. And for Gentile Christians to provoke Israel to envy. It's part of the calling of God according to Scripture. Israel's salvation should also matter to you because the Gospel is to the Jew first as we saw earlier this week.
It means that it should be a mission's priority. And if you live in an area where there are no Jews it should be praying for the salvation of the Jewish people and supporting those who are doing outreach to the Jewish people. This is important to the Lord as well.
And I want to make this appeal to you from the heart. Not to get into a theological battle. Not to get into a debate about Scripture. Not to get into a debate about Israel and the Palestinians.
Because if you have God's heart you care about the Israelis and the Palestinians. But this is a heartfelt appeal. We've gotten to theology. We've gone through a lot of Scripture. Especially on a 30-minute radio broadcast we have maybe 20 minutes of something or of teaching content because of news breaks or ads that the stations have at the beginning and the end of the show and then a brief break in the middle. So we're trying to pack in as much as we can in every broadcast and be as comprehensive as we can.
So we've covered a lot of ground and I love it that you've been interested in digging things out with me and maybe taking notes and looking back later at what was said. But this is just a heart-to-heart appeal without theological debate, without debate about history, without debate about politics today. It's just a heartfelt appeal. As a Jewish believer in Jesus we need your prayers. Israel will not make it without the prayers and love of the church. You say well God has promised Israel will make it.
Yes, well God has also said in Isaiah 62 I've appointed watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem and he said to those watchmen give me no rest and give yourselves no rest until I establish Jerusalem as the praise of all the earth and that will only happen when Jerusalem welcomes back Yeshua Jesus as the Messiah. So God has ordained your prayers and I'm appealing to you don't let up, don't quit. Keep praying. You say what do I pray? Lord your will be done for the people of Israel, for Jewish people worldwide.
Your best plans. Lord open the hearts and minds of the people of Israel. Reveal Jesus Yeshua to them and keep them safe from every attack of the evil one. Pray that prayer.
It will make a difference. Again pray for God's will to be done in the land of Israel and for the Jewish people worldwide. Pray that our eyes would be open to recognize Jesus Yeshua as the Messiah and pray that God would keep us safe from every attack of the evil one. Would you join in praying? It's my heartfelt appeal. We need your prayers. I'm being raw. I'm being honest.
I'm being straightforward. We need your prayers and I want to make another appeal. Ask God to share his heart with you regarding the lost sheep of the house of Israel. When God moved on me in the late 1980s, not the 1890s wasn't here quite then, in the late 1980s to begin writing a series of books. The first five were laid out in my heart. The first was the end of the American gospel enterprise. The second, how saved are we? The third, whatever happened to the power of God. The fourth, our hands are stained with blood. The fifth, it's time to rock the boat.
These are very clearly laid out. The themes were laid out in my heart and my mind as I began to pray. But our hands are stained with blood came out of this intense burden. The church, let's feel the pain of the Jewish people. The unique pain, the prayers of the sincere rabbis to this day and sincere religious Jews asking God for mercy, asking God to search their hearts daily, asking God to send the Messiah. The pain of being so near and yet so far. The pain of church history that drove Jews away from Jesus and presented a false Jesus, a false gospel, a false representation of God, presented that to them and in some cases offered them that false version or death. So what's the right decision then for a Jewish person rejecting that false version was their way of being loyal to God. And yet in their loyalty to God, they were still missing the Messiah. That to me is agonizing.
That to me is agonizing. So ask God for burden for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, the unique hatred that the Jewish people are under 24-7 around the world and the unique battles that surround Israel 24-7. Many Israelis have an app on their phone. Every time a bomb is shot, a rocket is shot in their direction that the app just tells them.
And I've been sitting with Israelis. They just show me, yep, there it is. There's another one. There's another one. They'll be in the States like there's another one. That's life there.
There's no other nation in that sense that has so many enemies coming against it all the time in so much world opinion against it. Pray that God would share with you his burden for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. I'm not trying to get you worked up in an emotional state.
Ask God to share it with you and whatever he puts on your heart, go with it. All right, I've got another big appeal for, it's not for money, another big appeal. I'll talk to you on the other side of the break.

Call 1-800-771-5584, 1-800-771-5584 or online at trivita.com. Thanks for joining us. This is Michael Brown. Here's my last heartfelt appeal to every Christian listener. Please do not withhold the good news of Jesus from us.
Let me say it again. Please do not withhold the good news of Jesus the Messiah from us as Jewish people. Every Jewish believer I know in the world would echo that cry. Please, we need your witness. Now let me be clear. Many Christians have drawn back from sharing the gospel with the Jewish people because of the horrors of the Holocaust and the recognition of the brutalities of church history.
And they felt that that's the worst, most insensitive thing they could do. And that Jews have their own covenant with God, their own relationship with God through Torah and tradition. Friends, if that was true, then the Messiah would not have died. If that is true, Yeshua would not have shed his blood because he came first for whom? For the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And if the lost sheep of the house of Israel could be saved, could be in right relationship with God, could be redeemed without his blood, without his death, there's no need for it. He didn't just die for the world.
He died for Israel and the world. If Israel had a way of salvation, then why is that the big contention in the book of Acts? Why didn't Peter just say, hey, just be loyal to Torah and tradition, repent and honor God and you'll be fine. No, he said, repent and receive Jesus, receive the Messiah or else we'll warn you of judgment.
So there is no other way. Others have stepped back because of this belief that in the end, God will save all the Jewish people. Well, even so, even though I believe there'll be national turning and mass salvation of the Jewish people around the world, what does that have to do with the Jewish person who lives and dies today or the millions that will live and die before that time?
So don't hide behind this false view. Some Christian Zionists have fallen into a lot of deception and they become enemies of the preaching of the gospel in Israel and others like, no, no, no, we don't proselytize. Okay, I understand that you may be a Christian organization working within Israel and your whole purpose is humanitarian and you want it to be known. We are just here to serve you. We are just here to serve you as Christians and to love you. We are not here to proselytize. We're here to build a hospital or we're here to help with education of your kids. That's why we're here.
We're here to help refugees resettle. That's why we're here. We are not here to proselytize. I get it. I accept that. I accept that calling. I recognize that's your calling to just serve and you don't want to be judged as having any other agenda.
You don't want to be judged as you're here and it's duplicitous like we're going to feed you so we can secretly preach and if you don't listen we're going to walk away. I get it. I honor those who are called to just serve in a humanitarian way within the land of Israel without proselytizing and that you even sign that as your mission there.
I get it. I accept it. Your good works speak for themselves, bring honor to the name of Jesus, and the fact you serve those who don't believe and who reject the Gospel as a testimony to your heart and to Christian love. But please, please, please do not oppose those of us who do share. Please don't try to shut down Jewish evangelism within Israel. Please don't mute the voices of those who are burdened and called to bring the good news to the people of Israel, to the Jewish people worldwide.
Pray with us. Believe with us because we're all working on the same team for the same goal to demonstrate the love of God and to bring people into knowledge of the Messiah. And remember in America the great majority of Jewish people that will find out about Jesus will find out through a Christian friend, relative, family member, co-worker. That's how they'll find out because of the large numbers of Christians throughout America. So how do you share the Gospel with a Jewish person like with anyone else?
Love them. Develop a relationship with them. Share your testimony if they're interested. If they want to hear more, begin to look at the Scriptures.
Talk to them about their own need. Jews sin like everybody else. Jews need a Savior like everybody else. And as for religious Jews, we're gonna help.
We've got all kinds of resources. Visit the Real Messiah website. RealMessiah.com.
RealMessiah.com. You'll find full length debates I've had with other rabbis, including one with Rabbi Tovia Singer from the early 1990's. He's refused to debate me ever since. But that's there. Other contemporary debates with more recent debates with Rabbi Shmueli Boteach.
Others are there. Free answers to maybe 100 plus most common questions in short video form and in written form. All kinds of resources waiting for you there.
Absolutely free. RealMessiah.com. So visit it. You're talking to a Jewish person. They have questions.
Send them over there. And if you want to register for a full 22 hour course on countering the counter missionaries, how you answer the rabbis, you can sign up for that. That's a paid course with a detailed study guide.
We priced it very inexpensively to get it out. But that's a great resource. But everything else, tons of stuff there. Our old Thinking Through TV show. That was a little heavier then, slightly.
Yeah, that was before my thin days. But you'll really enjoy that on the street in Beverly Hills, on the street in Brooklyn, New York, and film on location. All there. All there at RealMessiah.com. The two resources I've referred to throughout this month. One, Our Hands, Our Stand With Blood, The Tragic Story of the Church and the Jewish People.
This is the updated 2019 edition. I guarantee you, you'll read this book and at times be in absolute shock. I never knew.
I never knew. At times you read this book and you may break down and weep as others have. And when you get to the end, your heart will be soaring with faith. So we take you out of the gate as if you were going, as a Jew, to a Nazi concentration camp. We talk about the tragic past, a bunch of church history. We talk about the beautiful stream of love for the Jewish people that's also been in church history, but it's been a smaller stream, tragically. We give you a picture of what real Jewish beliefs are and some of the prayers and teachings of the rabbis. We talk about the Jewish roots of the faith, the background to the biblical calendar.
We get into bad reporting, bigotry, lies in the media today. Chapters like The Inquisition Isn't Over and Are You a Crusader for Christ? We show you how more tears is the great need, more tears of intercession for the Jewish people. And then we go through replacement theology.
Three whole chapters. Has the church replaced Israel? Is God done with Israel? Have the promises once given to physical and national Israel now been transferred over to the church? Then we lay out the satanic nature of anti-Semitism and show, in the end, how Israel's salvation is life from the dead.
So our hands are stained with blood. And then the supplemental volume, Christian Anti-Semitism, came out right afterwards. I haven't said as much about this, but just to run through the contents, I give a brief history, anti-Semitism from the past to the present in the church and among professing Christians. I underscore the urgency of the hour and explain what anti-Semitism actually is and then how people buy into the lies. And then I ask the question, will Jews behead Christians under the Noahide laws? Whole chapter on that.
The truth about the Talmud? Whole chapter on that. Do the Jewish people want to take over the world? Whole chapter on that.
Since when is it sinful to be a Christian Zionist? That's chapter eight. Chapter nine. The synagogue of Satan?
What's that about? Chapter 10, anti-Semitism replacement theology and the root of insecurity. I explain how the reason that many espoused replacement theology is because of insecurity and not recognizing how Gentile and Jew each have their place in God's calling. And then, oh, Jerusalem. Jerusalem, why is the Messiah coming back to Israel?
And why is it that a Jewish Jerusalem must welcome him back? So these two resources really will get your attention. They'll keep your attention. They'll keep your attention. You'll find it hard to put the books down.
And when you're done, you're going to want to get copies for others because you want others to know. This is Dr. Michael Brown. Thanks so much for tuning in. Just a reminder that we are listener supported. If we have been a blessing to you, if you're being enriched in the word and prayer and your own walk with God through this broadcast, then stand with us so that we can reach many, many more and bless many, many more.
