Welcome friends to a special edition of Thoroughly Jewish Thursday. A very somber day for so, so many reasons. I pray as you stay with me today as we open up the scriptures. As we talk about the murder of Charlie Kirk, as we talk about the tragic events of 9-11 from 24 years ago. As we talk about human suffering and the mourners of Zion, that you'll come away with greater focus, greater understanding.
Even greater purpose. and greater faith. How about we stop and pray? and ask God to be with us. Father, so many voices right now.
Some of these things vying for our attention We step back. We calm ourselves before your throne and we say, Lord, share your heart with us. Open our ears, open our heart, open our mind to respond, to hear. To be in harmony with you, we ask it in the name of Jesus, in Yeshua's name. I want to reach you.
In a moment from Isaiah, the 61st chapter. Um let me just say a couple of things first. We did live radio five days a week for 16 years. Um and felt In 2024, that we were coming to the end of that period, and we began to do some pre-recorded 30-minute daily teaching shows. And so it was just our plan to phase things out as of October of 2024 with our live broadcasts.
And we did Thirdly Jewish Thursday for many, many years. And as I travel on the road, folks would often comment how they appreciated that day. It was a day just to focus on Jewish-related themes and questions and do Jewish outreach and things like that. Then we were doing our 30-minute show as well, but for a number of reasons, pulled back from everything. And as many of you know, I was on an extended sabbatical and spent a lot of time really going before the Lord and laying everything down.
Laying everything down at his feet. Lord, I don't need a public ministry. I don't need to preach or teach. I don't need a name. I don't need recognition.
I don't need websites, social media. Lord, I just need you. What would please you? And laid everything down so that everything was basically cut back to zero. other than seeking God and being in His presence.
And over time, as things have re-emerged with passion and vigor. One of those is Jewish outreach. reaching the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Another is contending for revival and outpouring the church. These things have always been there, but they've re-emerged so strongly.
And after a lot of prayer and reflection, we felt that the one thing we wanted to bring back in terms of a regular weekly live broadcast was. Thoroughly Jewish Thursday.
So as we're able to do it. Depends on travel and things like that, but as we're able to do it, we want to come your way every week. We don't know exactly when, but very soon we hope to implement live calls as well where you'll be able to call in by Zoom and ask your questions, interact with me. And that way, right now, we're just limited to YouTube chat today. And yeah, we'll probably have some music at the outset and everything, but we're back doing these.
We feel it's so important. Both for the purpose of reaching out to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, as well as helping the church understand right theology and wrong theology, and standing against anti-Semitism and understanding questions about Israel today.
So, with that, let me read to you from Isaiah 61:1. These are the words of the Messiah. spoken through the prophet Isaiah. Beginning with those famous words, Ruach Adonai Lohim Allah, the spirit. of the Lord God of Zami, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the meek.
to the poor. I want to keep reading I'll read in English. And he sent me to bind up. the wounded of heart, to proclaim release to the captives Liberation to the imprisoned. To proclaim a year of the Lord's favor and a day of vindication by our God, to comfort All Who mourn?
To provide for the mourners in Zion, to give them a turban instead of ashes, the festive ointment instead of mourning, a garment of splendor instead of a drooping spirit, they should be called terebins of victory. Planted by the Lord for His glory, and I'll build the ancient ruins. And goes on. from there. Look at how much is focused.
uncomforting The mourners. Ecclesiastes said there's a time to dance and a time to mourn. This is one of those times to mourn. And Uh I I want to Again, paint a larger picture. Talk about Charlie Kirk Talk about 9-11.
Talk beyond that. about human suffering. And do our best to step back and say, okay, what does God want to say to us? What what does he want to communicate With us. Obviously, what I'm going to share with you is just some of what's on his heart, and hopefully, I can do that in a way that's honoring to him.
and helpful to you Uh I was not close friends with Charlie. But I did get to hang out with him. Almost three years ago. A mutual friend felt it was really important that we met. He was coming into my area.
reached out to me. And as busy as he is, James Robinson told me he was the busiest man that he knew, Charlie was. He came by, and we hung out for.
Well, over an hour. He was reading my book then, The Political Seduction of the Church, and told me he agreed with almost all of it, but wanted to push back on a couple of points. And I gave my viewpoint and went back and forth. But what What I knew about Charlie before that And we stayed in touch afterwards, some texts, some emails at different times. He had a couple of Hebrew questions for me here and there.
I interacted with him about a controversy with his friend and mentor, Dennis Prager. But the main time we spent was was back then and and I I knew him As a conservative political leader mobilizing young people for conservative values and to get out and vote. and a Christian as well. What I met with that day was that a young Christian man. And what really impressed me, and I journaled it, was how humble and gracious he was.
And all of our talk was about Jesus. All of our talk was about things of faith. In fact, when we talked about ways that we might be able to work together, he said, hey. What I'd love if you could come on some of these woke Christian campuses with me and talk about what the Bible really says about moral and cultural issues. And then he invited me to speak at one of the he said we we've started the whole faith arm of Turning Point USA.
We know that's going to be important. And we're trying to minister to pastors and leaders as well. And he asked me to speak at their national conference. I guess it would have been May of. of twenty 24.
But I was unable, or 2023, sorry, but I was in Israel at that time and was unable to do it. All that to say that what I came away with was I was really impressed by his humility. I was really impressed by his graciousness. I guess he was late twenties then. and to have accomplished as much as he had.
and to be as prominent as he was, as well known and in the circles in which he traveled, and yet to seem to have a genuine heart for the Lord, a genuinely humble spirit. A teachable spirit. An honoring spirit. That's what I came away with, and that's what I appreciate it the most. And whether I would have agreed with every political statement or not, he made, I don't know.
I haven't followed all of it. But what I did appreciate so much. is the and we talked about it That when he'd be debating or dialoguing with someone with a very different ideology, how he'd sought to be compassionate.
So to listen. I watched one and sent him a note and said, Hey, I really appreciate the way you conducted yourself in that. And of course, he appreciated hearing that. Like everyone else, the absolute shock of hearing things yesterday, the most shocking event in that sense in terms of an individual assassination. That uh or or or murder.
That we've seen in so many years. Obviously, the attempted assassination of President Trump, so jarring, but here, in the in the terrible day in which we live. Where you can just see things instantly.
So, people are actually watching a murder take place, watching a young man slaughtered in cold blood. leave behind his wife, also in her 30s, and girl, three, a boy. A year and a half, not even a year and a half. It's it's a horrific, tragic loss. And and that's why People of decency on all sides of the political spectrum are speaking out against the horror of this.
It's a terrible loss. There is a principle in the midst of the loss. That Jesus talks about in John 12: that unless a grain of wheat falls in the ground and dies, it remains alone. If it dies, it bears much fruit. And there's something about When when you're killed in the line of fire when you're killed in in in the line of duty standing up for a cause we we don't know full details yet about the murder.
Obviously more is coming, but let others, but let the other experts talk about that. You don't need to hear that from me. And I'm not weighing in on any opinions about any of these things right now, okay? What I want to say hopefully will be of universal interest to you. But there is something.
about the power of martyrdom. Where you are killed for your cause, or you willingly die for your cause. cause and we know that Charlie knew the risks of getting out. He knew that his life was at risk in standing up and speaking up for the things that he held dear. But suddenly overnight overnight People are talking about Charlie Kirk.
They never heard of him before. Overnight Millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions of people are aware of his life and his movement, and overnight you can be sure. That the countless thousands of young people, probably millions that he influenced, that so many are now pledging their lives. for the gospel. or pledging their lives to stand for what is right.
Or pledging their lives to stand for what they believe is best for a country. There's this multiplying effect. It does not diminish the loss. to his wife and children, and to those that loved him as friends. It does not take away from the...
The everything he could have accomplished. with a long and full life. But it is to say that something can come out of this that is good. Look, he's gone. He's gone.
We can't bring him back now. But we can pray that something good comes out of this. And I'm not talking about legislation, I'm not talking about Gun control, I'm not talking about red. I'm not talking about any, I'm not thinking about any of these things. I'm thinking about especially young people.
Getting awakened. And young people saying, Lord, here am I. Use me, send me. And people say he put his life on the line. I'm going to stand up for what's right regardless of cost or consequence.
Someone last night was actually Riley Gaines, so the American swimmer. who had to, who boldly spoke up against men and participating in women's sports and has had her own death threats and physical attacks and things like that. And she quoted Matthew 10, 28, the words of Jesus, which are words for all of his disciples. Don't fear those who kill the body but can't kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both body and soul in hell.
And that's a word that is reality for believers. uh around the world Do you know in in in Nigeria conservative estimate Says 7,000 Christians have been martyred in 2025 alone. Seven thousand And this, in a little while, stay with me, is going to tie in very deeply with Israel. very deeply with the verses we read about the mortars in Zion, and we're going to take away some important spiritual principles. Uh it's You're talking about more than 30 Christians on average killed per day.
in Nigeria. Conservative estimates.
Well over 40. Yeah. Believers. slaughtered in Nigeria in the last 10 years.
Well over 40,000. in the last 10 years. 20,000 churches, excuse me, 20,000 abducted. 20,000 abducted. How many of them killed?
tortured, suffered terribly. Uh and and and on and on it it goes. This is a reality with Christians with whom I work in other parts of the world. When one of our own spiritual sons, a grad from our ministry school, was martyred in the Middle East. We still don't talk about the nation where he was killed because some of our folks are still active there.
But killed in a Middle Eastern Muslim nation. He had sat down, he was in his late 20s himself. married with with two boys. And he sat down with his wife and said, if I'm killed. I want you to remarry.
He told her that, and God brought a wonderful man into her life some years later to be a father to those kids and a husband to that wife. But this was a reality. Friends that I work with in other countries, I won't mention the names of those countries. This is a reality they face, that they may die for the gospel. They live it, they understand it, and they understand their lives are not their own, and ultimately that's the reality.
Yes, what happened is madness. The hatred, the murder is madness. is is we have to do what we can. To to to foster a society with with a different mindset in so many in so many ways. But for every one of us, a believer, your life is not your own.
My life is not my own. doesn't belong to us. And we have to do what God calls us to do regardless of cost or consequence. It's reality for all of us. We may face that much more in America in the coming days from many, many fronts.
Um Charlie Kirk was a genuine friend of Israel. And let me just grab this here. Would a Prime Minister Netanyahu who tweet it out. He said Charlie Kirk was murdered for speaking truth and defending freedom. A lion-hearted friend of Israel, he fought the lies and stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilization.
I spoke to him only two weeks ago. and invited into Israel. Sadly, that visit will not take place. We lost an incredible human being. His boundless pride in America and his valiant belief in free speech will leave a lasting impact, rest in peace.
Charlie Kirk. Very, very sadly, very, very sadly. Uh I I I've spent time today deleting and blocking comment after comment after comment after comment. on social media From Muslims who hate Charlie Kirk. and who say he defended genocide in Gaza.
I mean, the most vile, ugly comments. I've just been personally doing it, not even asking my team to do it all. Just one after another after another. No, not all Muslims feel like that, of course. But he was such a friend of Israel and spoke against the lie that Israel was willfully committing genocide or committing genocide in Gaza.
spoke against that that lie that um he he is to this moment greatly hated by many in the Muslim world. And that ties in. with 9-11. In the radical Islamic world. America is the great Satan.
and Israel is the little Satan. And America is looked at as not just a world of imperialistic power that goes into other nations and takes over and destroys. It brings untold suffering, especially on the Muslim world. America is also looked at as a corrupt Christian nation. In other words, Muslims say, look, America is a Christian nation.
The vast majority of Americans for decades have professed to be Christians. And look at all the smut at exports. Look at all the sexual immorality at exports. Look at all the... low values and and and divorce and and and everything.
Mm-hmm. And carnality and and so on. Look at everything that it exports around the world. And Not only so, America. is Israel's staunchest ally.
and staunchest financial supporter and standing with Israel to help with military supplies and things like that. And therefore America is the great Satan. Israel is the greatest. the little Satan. And 9-11.
was an attack on America that also fundamentally relates to America standing with Israel. Fundamentally. The attack of 9-11 ties in directly. to America's standing with Israel. and it's part of Islamic hatred for Israel, radical Islamic hatred for Israel.
And 9-11, another unspeakable tragedy. Another Unspeakable. tragedy. Nancy, my wife Nancy, sent me a video clip earlier today just with names being read the names of those slaughtered in cold blood, the people who just went to work. One day, just like Charlie Kirk, went to do his thing.
never to come home again and this The second or third name that was read was the name of Douglas Gurion, Nancy's brother. who was killed. on 9-11 just happened to be that day in the World Trade Center. And uh left behind a wife and two children.
Sometimes Nancy look on Facebook and see the posts from his daughter, you know, reflecting on 9-11 and what she remembered about her dad and story she heard about her dad. And and It's just a few days ago. I'm going somewhere with this, so please listen. Just a few days ago. Not far from here, I I live outside of Charlotte, broadcasting from outside of Charlotte.
that one of the most senseless things we've ever seen took place Where we're A guy obviously mentally ill. Just for no reason whatsoever? Just stabs to death, a Ukrainian refugee, a young woman in her early 20s. fled the war in Ukraine to come to America to To have a safe place, otherwise you'd still be in Ukraine. There wasn't a war there.
Russia hadn't attacked and invaded. She comes to the States she's working on a pizzeria, Taking the light train on the way home. And what makes it. all the more shocking is that because of cameras on on the train, it's it's videotaped. I actually see it happening.
I haven't watched that actual video, but but the the pictures you see, it suddenly just stands. And he's about to stab her, and then you see her just terrified looking up. She doesn't realize what's happened, and then within minutes, she's bled to death, and this is. I mean these things are shocking. shocking the nation, And as much as we become so hardened because we just get everything on our, you know.
You don't even know what's real or not with AI. You see anything on your phone within seconds and here's another tragedy and earthquake and people dying and plane crash. You just see everything. Boom, there it is in front of your eyes. And all the violent movies and violent video games, we've just been so immersed for so long, but still, this, what's happened now in these recent days is just.
Devastating. Devastating. Shocking. And hey, you may not have heard about it, but just... Just a few days before, there was a massacre in Jerusalem, another terrorist attack in Jerusalem.
People slaughtered in in cold blood. At least six killed in cold blood, others injured. including elderly rabbis and people of other ages. That just took place. And it was There's headlines: gunmen attacked, bus stop in Jerusalem, killing at least six.
You just get on the bus and next thing you're being shot and killed. And and It was only a few days before that. The the The shooting in the Catholic Church with kids from a Catholic school. were they eight and eleven, the the two that were killed, other kids and adults Slaughtered in cold blood. And again, demented reasons by the killer who then killed himself.
I mean, obviously, any mascot like that is going to be demented, but you just see more of the. The sickness of that person's soul. Every day. Every day Maybe 1,400, 1,500 people are murdered. Every day.
Every day. I'm going somewhere with this, so please stay with me. On average But 9,000. Babies and children die every day from starvation or malnutrition or sickness related to that. 9,000.
Ev every day. Calculate how many that'll be. during the 22 or 23 minutes I've been broadcasting so far. You say, man. All you're doing is depressing me.
I'm just I'm leaving.
Okay, what's the point? We are in a broken field. fallen Messed up world. We are in a world where every day there's pain and agony. We're just...
more aware of it now. Because of the horrific Murder of Charlie Kirk. Broadcast for the world to see. Because of the horrific murder of of Irena Zarutska. depict it for the world to see.
One tragedy after another. We become more aware, but every moment of every day, there's terrible suffering and there's terrible pain. And friends, As much as there's joy And the celebration. And good things happening, and babies being born, and people being married, and lives being changed, and the. The hungry being fed, and a lot of good and wonderful things are happening every moment of every day, and above all, people coming to know God and having their sins forgiven.
We must have a realistic mentality. We're not just here for a party. We're not just like A.W. Tozier said that So many evangelicals think this world is a playground rather than a battleground. We're in.
a a a desperate spiritual war. There are life and death issues taking place. every single day. And that's why In Judaism, That they're they're It's only daily prayer. for restoration and mercy and things like that and the Jewish liturgy that traditional Jews pray at three different times during the day.
But There are things built in to remember suffering. For example, If you've ever attended a Jewish wedding, There's a custom. where you take um uh and it's it's right before the Celebration, the pronouncing of husband, I mean, the Jewish version of that. the the culmination of the wedding ceremony. There is a there is a a glass, an actual glass That's you know glass copper glass that is is wrapped in a napkin.
And and the groom stamps on it, stomps on it, and shatters it. And then you can celebrate. You say, what's that about? And it's wrapped in a napkin so the glass doesn't go fine or hurt people. He said, What's that about?
It's to remember the destruction of the temple. It's to remember Jewish suffering. It's to say, even in the midst of celebration, we still remember. There is something called tikkun khatzot. which is literally the t the tycoon of of of midnight.
Jikun is a speaks of restoration, redemption, but it's a series of prayers. And at certain times of the year, these are said. remembering the destruction of of the temple in Jew w uh which is symbolic of Jewish suffering. But it's Uh there have been some Rabbis that have made it a life practice to get up at midnight, to go to sleep earlier, obviously, and get up at midnight to recite these prayers of mourning. In other words, that every single day this is woven in.
Paul said he was sorrowful yet always rejoicing. Paul said in Romans 9: he constantly carried the burden. of his own people being lost.
So so that No matter what he was doing, no matter the victory, the joy, he's the one that to the Philippians wrote, rejoice, rejoice, rejoice. And obviously himself knew great joy in the Lord. Also had a pain. He also had a pain. And there's a prayer I want to read to you.
Uh it is uh A prayer for God to comfort the mourners of Zion. And on this day of mourning, mourning for Charlie Kirk's family and the horror of his murder. Morning in memory of all the victims of 9-11 and the aftermath on so many families. Do you know how many suicides there were? Uh among firemen.
and law enforcement people that were the first responders to 9-11. And and and when they were courageously going going into the one of the towers. you know, looking for people to rescue and everything comes down and hundreds die. Suicides in the years after, I mean, there's a ripple effect. There's a ripple effect.
in so, so many ways.
So this is a prayer. For the mourners in Zion, and it begins with the word Nichom abdenaielohim et avileit Siouan, vet avilei Yushalaim. And so I'll read it. We'll put it up in Hebrew and English, but I'll read it to you in English. Console.
O Lord our God The Mourners of Zion. And the mourners of Jerusalem. And the city that is mournful, ruined, despised and desolate. without her children, banished from her dwellings. and stripped of her glory, she sits with her head covered like a barren widow.
Blessed are you, O Lord, who console Zion and rebuilds Jerusalem. There are even some Jews who live, they move into a new house, but they leave one wall partially undone. They leave the wall partially undone to remember the destruction of the temple and and Jewish suffering through the ages So I want to say two things. Yeah. Jesus said, and we can we can take that.
Take that down. Jesus said Blessed Are those Morning. For they will be comforted. God's heart still aches for a dying, hurting world. As much as there is joy in the presence of God, There's also pain in his heart.
Because he dearly loves his creation. It says in Isaiah 63, in all Israel's affliction, he too was afflicted. Think of that. He said, why doesn't he just do something about it?
Well He is working in this world. But it is a fallen, broken world. And we are his agents of redemption. We are as agents of redemption.
So so first. First. Let us enter into the suffering of those who suffer and mourn. Let us mourn with those who mourn. Let us weep with those who weep.
And let us rejoice with those who rejoice. Right now, For many, it's a heavy day, it's a heavy season. It's a time of great grief. But don't just grieve alone. Grieve to God.
Part your heart to God. Share your pain with Him that He may share His comfort with you. And not only his comfort, but his hope, because friends, In the midst of this fallen world, every moment of every day, God is working wonders. In the midst of this fallen world, People are coming to know him. People's sins are being forgiven.
Sick people are healed. Demonized people are set free. Hope is coming to the hopeless. Joy is coming to the depressed. Marriages are being put together, children are being redeemed, prayers are being answered, God is bringing life, life, life.
Let us go forth with the message of redemption. Let us not just get so caught up in this world that it's all about sports and entertainment and materialism and prosperity and earthly things. Let us get so caught up with the purposes of God that that's what dominates our thinking. Here I am, Lord, send me. Here I am, Lord, here we are.
Send us Use us. There is no life lived like a life lived for God. There is no life lived that a life surrendered to its purposes whether we live to be 31 or we live to be 131. And when we give ourselves to his purposes, yes, we live in this world. Go and have a fun dinner with your family, sure.
Play some sports with your kids, relax. You know, just Take a nice vacation, enjoy the quiet. We live in this world. And it says in 1 Timothy 6 that God richly gives us all things to enjoy. Enjoy a sunset, enjoy a sunrise, enjoy the flowers, and Enjoy the playing with the pets and enjoy those things.
But Don't let that be the substance of your life. Let the substance of your life be here I am send me use me Paul wrote this in Philippians 1 He said, for I earnestly hope and expect that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage So that now as always Messiah will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. And then those rewards for me to live as Christ, to live as Messiah, to die. That's what he was talking about in that context. Your life is not your own.
Can I encourage you? Don't be a slave to the fear of man. Don't be a slave to human opinion. Don't be a slave to what the internet says or thinks. Be a slave to the will of God.
Be a slave to the purpose of God. And say, Lord, I'm here to do your will. In my weakness, in my imperfection, I'm here to do your will. Use me. And he will.
There are so many people hurting and suffering, and if you know Jesus, you have something they need. You have a message of hope. You have a message of redemption. You have a message of forgiveness. You have a message of reconciliation.
and was remarkable. Even though it'd be nice to be delivered from the water and delivered from the fire, We won't be in this world. Jesus said, John 16:33, in this world you'll have tribulation. And in the words of Psalm 23, Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, it'd be nice to not walk through it, but we will. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I'll fear no evil, because you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
We have an answer even when we don't have an answer. Why did this happen? Why is this one suffering? I don't know, but I know that God is faithful. I know that if you hold on to him, he won't let go of you.
In fact, he's holding on to you when you think all hope is lost. He's holding on to you even when you think he's distant. We have something that the world needs. Let us redouble our efforts, not in a legalistic way, but out of love for God and love for our neighbor. And say, use me to make a difference, whatever the cost, whatever the consequence.
On that day when you stand before him, you'll have no regret. And I say this last thing. Jesus also said in The Beatitudes, Blessed are the peacemakers. for they shall be called children of God. In being peacemakers.
We represent him and being peacemakers, we We carry out his will. We show ourselves to be his kids. If you are watching regularly news on the left. You will see constant talk about right-wing hatred and right-wing violence and And it's true. Do the research, it's true.
If you listen to news on the right, you will find constant reference to left-wing hatred and left-wing political violence in its... It's true. It's true. Do the research. And it's true.
And someone could say, yeah, well, this murder at the Catholic Church, that was anti-Catholic, and that was some. Young man that thought he was trans, and there was anger towards that. And that's clearly left-wing political violence.
Okay, well, then go to the Minnesota shootings. And and the shooter targeting. Democrats with pro-abortion policies, and I watched some of him sharing his testimony, preaching the gospel in Africa. And you can go down lists. My goal is not to go down a list.
My goal is not to say which is worse, which is not as bad. My goal is to say, let's step higher. You and I As followers of Jesus, and I'm talking to you. Not as a conservative, not as someone who votes Republican, not as a white American male, not as a Jew. I'm talking to you as a follower of Jesus.
as a follower of Jesus. and speaking to you as a follower of Jesus. Let's do better ourselves. Let us stoke. the fires of love and peace and truth.
Yes, let unrighteousness be confronted. Let evil be confronted. Let justice be done where there are crimes. Let us fight for justice. Absolutely.
Let us fight for the life of the unborn. Let us fight against evils in our society. Yes and amen. 100%. And let us do the research and vote our conscience and be involved in the political system.
Amen. Absolutely. I'm talking about our conduct. I'm talking about what we say on social media. I'm talking about how we interact.
Let us not stoke flames of greater hatred. Let let us do our best. To dialogue, to talk, to sit down with someone of a different ideology. and to say it's clear we have profound differences. It's clear we have profound differences.
I at least want to understand why you see what you see, why you say what you say, what your perspective is. In listening to you, I might be absolutely horrified. I might say to myself, I've never heard such hatred in my life. You you need help. You're dangerous.
That may be my conclusion. Or it may be, oh I never saw it from that angle. I disagree with you, but I never saw it from that angle. And can I share my perspective with you. For the most part, 99.9% of us say the murder is wrong, is deplorable, under no circumstances do you do something like this.
No matter how much you hate the person's ideology, don't kill the person. And you don't speak words that can lead to murder.
So I want to encourage everyone. Who, like me, would say, I'm a follower of Jesus, Yeshua, my life belongs to him. Let's step higher. Let's not tolerate evil. Let's not minimize evil.
Let's not ignore reality in front of us, but let us not. stoke the fires of hatred and division. And and And look, I If your family's big enough, you probably have people on different sides of political issues and divide, and you know they're decent people. You know they're decent people. And they have different perspectives.
So Let us do what Charlie Kirk sought to do in dialogue, was to have genuine dialogue with those with whom. You differ. I was texting a colleague of mine, and boy, we have some passionate. passionate. Differences.
Differences we would literally die for. And we were texting each other last night with notes of love you, miss you, and We need to do something together to send out a message of peace and love.
So let us do our best to do it. Bless it. are the peacemakers. For they shall be called children of God. May we live in such a way that people will look at us and say, You've been with Jesus, haven't you?
You know him, don't you? You seem like a child of God. May we send that message. May it be something redemptive that we do, and may we give ourselves afresh. to the good news of the gospel, and to prayer for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
