My passion is the fight for freedom. My father fought for a World War II defending our country. Today, we are no longer fighting with guns. Instead, we are fighting an ideological battle for control of our country by contributing to causes that support your constitutional rights.

I am Patriot Mobile. That was a shooting gallery up there. I could hear the tremble in his voice. She suffered a very severe being. The video is pretty graphic.

Justice for us seems almost impossible. It's not fun to watch somebody die, and they knew she was in mortal peril. They had not asked the hard questions. Why was the Capitol intentionally unsecure that day? The FBI had information about security concerns before January 16th. They're out for blood, and they're getting it. They appear to be winning. Were the actions of the Capitol Police out of line? Were there violations in use of force?

Now I describe it as an inside job. I'm ready to do whatever God calls me. There's an old Chinese saying my ancestors learned before the Communist Party took over our country. The family is the essential unit of human society, and that you must have honor and defend your family. But it's not always easy to do.

When the regime gives the order, you have to kill. My heart was pounding. I felt my body bouncing and twisting on the floor. They put numbers on our shoulders, then separated us into rows of even and odd numbers.

I was number nine. My brother, he's still in prison, and my sister, she was sent to a labor camp without a trial. But there's one piece of evidence they haven't been able to destroy yet.

I left everything behind. If I can't expose what they did to us, then all of our suffering would be for nothing. Welcome to Chosen Generation with your host, Pastor Greg Young. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should shoe forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

And now, Chosen Generation, where no topic is off limits, and everything is filtered through biblical glasses. And now, here's your host, Pastor Greg. And welcome to the program. Great to have you with me. Thanks so much for being here. I know you have a choice in where you can listen each and every day. And I thank you for keeping it tuned here to Chosen Generation Radio. Well, the first hour today, I played a portion of a program that I had made a mistake and didn't punch a go live button, but David and I did it anyway.

It was a week ago Wednesday, not this past, but the week before. And so I played a portion of that. That is up, by the way, if you go to, and I'll just show you very quickly where you can go. So if you go to the show archives, right here, and go to video and audio links for new shows, let me get that up on the screen.

So here we go. Show archives, this guy, video and audio links for new shows. And then the very first link is Rumble, Chosen Generation Radio show.

Click on that, and you'll find the page. And if you'll notice, here's yesterday's Five Keys to a Victorious Prayer Life, Raphael Cruz and I's interview. Karen England fighting for parental rights and the children.

Pro Life aims to stop the assault on children's conscience and their souls. The David Shostakis interview from Wednesday, stand with Matt, drain the swamp. The battle for the soul of our nation exposes the long path ahead with Rick Manning, a conversation about finding a path forward with Melanie Collette. And the GOP is the problem because they compromised and that was my interview with Matt long and then and so on. So you can find all that there again, show archives, click on resolution and prayer, click on it switched.

Come on. Video and audio links for new shows. And then click on the Children Generation Radio show. And that'll take you over to the Rumble page.

And then you can find the programs that you might want to watch as I try to get those up each and every day. All right, that's that's that. But I cover that. Yes, I did. And then this resolution, by the way, and I just want to encourage you again, click on that link, get that resolution.

Seriously share that resolution. Even if you're not, you know, you may say I'm a little I don't know, I don't go I don't like to go and and and make a public thing and okay. All right, that's okay.

Not going to chastise you for that. But how about this? Say the prayer. You can say the prayer.

I mean, really, from the privacy of your own home. First thing in the morning. Say the prayer. Take your position of authority.

And, and say the prayer. And so you can find that there. What in the world did I just do? Okay.

I don't know what it did. Try to send you an email Don in my there it is declaration. And for just going to send this to you.

paste it into an email. And you can do with it as as you please. All right, Don Jans joins me. Welcome, sir. It's a happy Friday. Yes, it is.

And your weekend is coming up in a great time. It is but always remember that we still have to fight the communist movement. We do and and you know, it's it's interesting. I'm watching my my social media feeds and it's about a 5050 split on on the removal of the Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. I mean, I've got people that are just downright, you know, angry about it. I've got other people that are just jumping up and down and and and excited about it. My audience pretty much knows where I'm at.

Matter of fact, when I read what I just read, I read stand with Matt. But your thoughts on on the situation and and and your thoughts on you know, I assume did you watch the debate on the floor? I watched part of it. Yes. Okay. And so I also watched I also watched back in January. Sure. Which which it all ties together.

Yes, it does. What we have what we've known for anybody that's followed politics for a long, long, long, long, long, long time understands that politics, as usual, was that the Democrats would would do their radical their radical positions and continue their transformation to communism. And we had two factions in the Republican Party, those that opposed it, and literally did things to stop it. And those who claim they opposed it, but always cooperated with what the Democrats wanted over the what I think it's the last 12 years or so. Our whole system has broken down.

We no longer budget. We know a lot the the House and the Senate now think that all they have to do is put one big, huge bill together, and then drive drive us to a crisis point. And then the country says, Oh, yes, we have to say we have to save our country.

We have to make this vote. But next time, it's always this but next time. I remember when John Boehner was the Speaker of the House, of course, McConnell's always done this McConnell is always, always gone for this route in the Senate. But when john Boehner was the Speaker of the House, this is one of the big reasons why he was forced out of the speakership. And then they bought him brought in Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan was going to be this new this new speaker who said no, no budgeting is critical. We must budget and we are going to force this budget and we are going to act according to the rules of the of the house. And so what happens the very, very first big issue that comes up is he agrees to an omnibus bill and gives Obama even more than Obama had wanted.

And his reaction was, Oh, yes, we had to do it this time. But next time, but next time, then we get to where we're going to get the house back and we're going to have a new speaker. And we know McCarthy is McCarthy is a Boehner and a Ryan.

He's a member of their of their whole whole cabal. And anybody who had watched politics knew that the the very essence of McCarthy is to follow that same pattern. That will go into a crisis point. And then we'll all just capitulate and say, Oh, we have to, we have to sign this omnibus bill, the CR, whatever we're going to call it, we're going to have all kinds of junk in it. But next time, but next time, we're Matt gates.

And I'll use Matt gates. But but this group of people said, No, no, no, no, that's not the way it's supposed to work. That's not what we're going to do. We promised the American people we would be very, very good stewards of their money. Having CR is having continuing resolutions is not being a good steward, right? And they said, we're not going to vote for McCarthy because we know who he is. Well, McCarthy wanted the speaker ship so bad that he sold his soul. And McCarthy promised many, many, many things. One of the things he promised and one of the things that came into the rules was that you could have a motion to be vacate. Pelosi had gotten rid of that. Pelosi said it has to be a majority of the party.

And McCarthy agreed, no, just just one person can bring the motion to vacate, right. But McCarthy also promised that it's not going to be no no next time, it's going to be no no this time. And under his leadership, we're going to do several things. We're going to be good stewards of the people's money, we're going to reduce spending, and we are going to become very active in correcting the situation in Washington with Mayorkas, with other members of the cabinet and with Biden.

And we're going to do true and honest investigations. He promised that. And he said, oh, yes, yes, I'm going to be this true, true conservative.

I'm going to be this true good person. So we capitulate, we say, okay, we'll give you a chance. One of the very first things McCarthy does is he gives away the debt limit. He gives it away for two years, and he foolishly said, oh, but there is no debt limit at all, spend all you want for the next two years, and then we'll deal with it. That was a total, total capitulation and it was against everything he had promised. He also promised that what we would do is we would go back to our normal to the proper way of budgeting, where we have the 12 appropriation bills.

That means that everybody, every every facet of government must be looked at. And we must, we must budget based on not one big omnibus bill or continuing resolution but on these 12 different bills. And then he also promised that he would be a very, very, very aggressive speaker, and that we would truly understand what this corruption in Washington is. Well, he failed miserably on the debt ceiling.

He was failing miserably on the subpoenas and on, and he was, I've read where he's actually hampering the different committees from investigating the Biden's Homeland Security, all of the corruption in Washington. And then he knew back in January that you have to get started if you're going to have the 12 bills ready by the end of September. And you have to also give the Senate time to pass it.

And nothing happened. They get up into June and then June and July and then they start to aggressively look at the budgeting. Well, some of the Republicans said, okay, you made these promises, we're going to change now.

We're not going to have business as usual. We're actually going to hold people to their promises. What a novel idea.

What a unique new unique situation for the Republican Party. Let me let me jump in. You say you're going to do all these things.

Well, then do them. Let me jump in. Don, let me jump in real quick just to give folks any thought because we had that same situation happen here in Texas repeatedly for the last 10 years. Whenever the conservatives come, one of the big things they promise is, oh, we're going to reduce your property taxes. Texas property tax is terrible. It's absolutely it's robbery. You can you can own your property and own everything.

But you don't own anything. Because they tax at such a at such an incredibly high rate. It's it's it's just it's really terrible. And and and we've been having issues with veterans on disabilities and elderly who are military, a lot of military come back here and retire. And a lot of them are on fixed incomes. And over the last 10 to 20 years, we've been seeing situations where the municipalities, the counties and the cities, basically tax them right out of their houses. And so here's what happens. They they make this thing and then and I wrote it so that they say, Oh, we've reduced your property tax.

But the caveat is this. In the bill that they pass, it says subject to or at the discretion of local authorities. So the the state legislature and the state legislators run around collecting campaign contributions and touting how Oh, we say look at how much money we saved you in property tax.

Well, no, because as soon as it gets to the local authority, they reassess the property at a higher value. And they increase the tax to offset the amount that the state quote unquote said they're not going to take. That's all that and it has been happening repeatedly repeatedly for the last 10 years that that I've been here but I know that it happened well before that as well.

And and every single time. That's that's what happens. So it's it's a it's a lie. When when the caucus says, Oh, we we did we we we reduced your property taxes. Well, no, you didn't reduce my property taxes because when it got back to the locals, they were able to go in because it wasn't firm.

And because you specifically said in the document in the bill that you passed, oh, by the way, it's at the discretion of the local government. It's a game that's being played. It's a game that's been played. And it's business as usual. And, and people are saying no, no, no more business as usual.

That's right. It's time when we have accountability. Now, why could why could Matt Gaetz specifically Matt Gaetz Well, first of all, let me go back a minute. One of the big reasons that a lot of the house members are saying Matt Gaetz was wrong in pushing accountability and I and it's strange when you say you're wrong for pushing accountability, but that's where we are today. But they say he was wrong because Kevin McCarthy is in the is in K Street's pockets. And Kevin McCarthy had over $300 million pledged to the Republicans in the next election. And that's why many of the many of the Republicans are upset, because now that money probably is not going to flow there for their elections. Matt Gaetz is in an unusual position.

And he put himself into that position because of honesty. Most, most, most of the people in the Congress are in the Senate and the House are beholding to big donors, to the big pharma, to particularly big pharma to the defense spending. This is one of the reasons why we have all of this nonsense over in Ukraine is because most of the people in the House and the Senate get big contributions from the defense industry. Matt Gaetz does not. Matt Gaetz takes no money from any of those big contributors from K Street from any of the big industrial contributors. All of his money comes from you and me comes from the people.

His average contribution is $38. So to whom is he beholding? The people. What a strange concept. Wow. Yeah, this is magnificent, which he got called out on pharmacist, which he got, which which they tried to call him out because he sent out emails to let his constituency know, hey, I'm I'm I'm fighting for you. And, you know, once again, if you can help me out, like you've been doing, and they and and and some of them are on his list. And they tried to embarrass him. Yeah, and and and he and he he laughed in their face. He said, Look, you're beholding to the lobbyists. The House District 53 rep Andrew Murr here in this district is beholding the lobbyists. He has a lobbyist that sits on the sofa in the front of his office, right? I mean, you walk in the door and immediately now he may have a different office now. But but his original office, you'd walk in the door and immediately to the left, just on the other side of the receptionist area, there was a guy that sat there in a suit with a phone, and he's a lobbyist. And he'd get a phone call and he'd walk into Murr's office and he'd tell Murr how to vote on the next vote.

And then they'd walk out the door together and walk down to the floor. And and Murr would vote and and by the way, Andrew Murr was the guy that led this secret squirrel committee. That's my friend Matt long's term, secret squirrel meetings. But he he led the secret squirrel meeting to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton, and then tried to double down on his on his misdeeds. And what what great news that was coming out touchdowns. Yeah, what fabulous news that was because that was that was along this same line.

No, we're not going to play that game anymore. Well, and I'll tell you it's this is what I look at when you when you when you look at the speakership, anybody who's followed Kevin McCarthy's career knows who he is and what he is. He is he is he is in the same line as Boehner, Ryan and McConnell and Cornyn your Texas senator.

They're all along that same line. We will do whatever whatever our contributors tell us to do. Well, that's what Matt Gaetz did. He did exactly what his contributors told him to do. That's the people and the people said, no, stop this silly game. You guys do your work. You do what is correct. And you are our representatives.

We are not your servants. Now, the dumbest thing I've ever, ever in my life seen is now you have this new guy and he comes in and what does he do? He does exactly what has been done for years.

He sends all the representatives home when they should be there working. That's what we said. Let's work.

Let's get this done. So I support. Well, first of all, I never supported Kevin McCarthy, but that's not the reason that you live in California. By the way, folks need to know you live in California.

I live in California. I in fact, I did a talk in Bakersfield several years ago and I was talking about like I many times do is the evils of big government. Kevin McCarthy happened to be in the group. He was there.

Pardon? He was there. He was there. He and his wife were there.

His wife was cheering along with the other people. He sat with his arms folded and he would not even acknowledge me after my talk. He is big government through and through. He's always been big government through and through.

And this is what this this this vote said is no. We the people do not want big government anymore. We want a responsible representative government and we want the people are the those that we elect to represent us to do what they promise us they will do.

It's called accountability. Accountability won a huge victory this week, won a huge victory in Texas with Paxton and business as usual took a big, big defeat. Now my my what I hope is that we learn from this and we get behind the accountability and we vote always against business as usual and we take our country back because we can. This is a step forward. Will we continue this step forward or will we back off and will we become lazy again and say oh you guys you'd be holding to your you you go ahead be beholding to your contributors that don't have any of our interests in mind that are there only to take away our liberties and our rights.

This was a huge, huge movement touchdown do believe, depending on what happens that people will recognize this as a turnaround. Thank you. Thank you people who were beholding to us the people here here, here here and and and continue to flood the switchboard 202-224-3121 202-224-3121 continue to flood the switchboard with, you know, with your with your encouragement for them. There it is on the screen 202-224-3121 but continue to call the switchboard and say, hey, you know, I want to talk to my representative, give him your your area, they'll be able to put you in touch with your representative if you don't know who that is, and that's fine.

But leave a message at their office and you should know, well, you'll learn the point of it is done is that you'll learn if you make the call, you know, if you don't know today, then make the call and then you will learn and that will be good and then you will know and you can encourage your representative and just say we want a speaker that is going to uphold the will of the people and not be and not be and I don't know you know we there have been some names brought forward. Jim Jordan has been brought forward. Steve Scalise has been brought forward. I think there's one other one that's up there as well.

I don't remember the name right off the top of my head. And to be completely honest with you, I don't know for certain that where we're at with that I know that that you know, I've liked the things that Jim has said, but there are things in the house judiciary now I don't know if the problem is Jim or the problem is staff. But if the problem is staff, then Jim needs to do a better job of addressing that he's been there long enough to make those changes and he needs to do so. And at the end of the day, the bottom line here is is we need somebody now that's actually going to fully take action. Matt Gates has said he would support a Jim Jordan or Steve Scalise. And that's great. But I'm sure that Matt along with those like Andy Biggs are going to say will support you but only so long as you don't follow the path of Kevin McCarthy. And we'll leave it at that chaps is coming up next Gordon chaps, clinging Schmidt pray in Jesus name. We'll talk about how this change leaves an opening for a harder push to save life, to save liberty, and to secure religious freedom, which is under assault here in this country. We'll be back to talk about all that coming up right after this brief break. You're listening to children generation radio.

Well, I'm very pleased to welcome my next guest to the program. He joins us here on a monthly basis to talk about, well, a variety of issues today. We're going to get into talking about the Speaker of the House issue and the opportunity to push life and how important that particular issue is. We talked yesterday a little bit with Compass Cares, Reverend Jim Harden, about that.

And then the assault that's happening to Christians and to Christianity here in America, the attack on our children, all of those things can be and are influenced by what's happening in the leadership in Washington DC, and in particular at this time, the leadership in the House. Gordon Chaps Klingenschmitt joins me. Pray in Jesus name. Chaps, welcome. Good to have you.

God bless you, Pastor Greg. I am ready for a beautiful Friday, and I'm also getting ready to go to India one more time, perhaps next week through Thailand. I've never been to Thailand, but this will be my fifth trip to India, and I'm very excited to go there and serve orphans. Well, I'm excited for you to go and do that, and we'll be praying for you. Are you going to try and see what's going on up in Manipur, or are you going to try to avoid that area?

That's not on the docket. I figure they have enough hotbed anger against the Christians without an American missionary showing up there. But I love the people of Orissa, and we've been there since 2012. They had a similar genocide back in 2008 in Orissa, India, and we've been caring for the orphans of that genocide ever since. But now a new genocide is happening, as you mentioned, in Manipur.

It's all anti-Christ. And when the radical leftist mob, or in this case, right-wing mob from the RSS faction, which is kind of like the Nazi party of the BJP, the main government party, they take pitchforks and torches and they go town to town and house to house, killing Christians or burning their houses and churches. And we've seen that from this May in Manipur, and back in 2008 in Orissa, where I work.

And you know, we're getting reports of the same kinds of activities in Punjab, which is not making the news, unfortunately. But our pastors there, actually the head, the chief minister for the Sikh there in Punjab, issued a statement just last week saying that there will not be allowed any Christian celebrations in the month of December. So Christmas is, they cannot celebrate Christmas. And if they do, they do an under penalty of death.

They are there to go and kill Christians who attempt to gather to celebrate Christmas. And right now they are reporting pastors all across Punjab for converting people. They're calling it a conversion thing. Now, there is no law on the books in Punjab that says that you cannot have conversations about faith or share your faith. There's no laws to that effect. The law hasn't been put in place there. But the police are going ahead and arresting these pastors. And we're also getting lots of reports of young women that are being raped.

It is interesting. There is a Sikh separatist group in Punjab who wants independence under the Sikh religion. And they want to form a Sikh state. That's not most of the Sikhs. Most of the Sikhs are very peaceful, maybe even open to the gospel because there's a great revival happening in Punjab.

Many are coming to Christ. But the radical right version of the Sikh, they not only want to kill the Christians, they want to separate from India. It's called Calistan, the Calisthenian movement.

Yeah, it's interesting. And many of those are exiled or they flee the country because the India government fights against them. They want to keep a continuous nation. And so if some of them have fled to Vancouver, Canada, where I was recently, I had a Sikh man driving our Uber, and he was telling us about the division. Now, last week I heard the Canadian prime minister announced that the India government was complicit. India spies in Vancouver killed a Canadian citizen who was Sikh, who was maybe part of that separatist movement, a radical, but a Canadian. And so now Canada is fighting against the Punjab area. And there's all kinds of news about that. And it has cause for further unrest in Punjab, I'm afraid.

No, you're absolutely right. It has. But I can also concur that there is a great revival that's going on. Our last outreach, our last large outreach, we had over a thousand people except Jesus Christ. And we now have, we're pushing 1200 churches in Punjab.

Thank God for that revival and for your support of them. My recollection, I think in 2018, when I was there, I actually led a young Sikh girl to Christ and they believe in God. They don't know God, but they have this understanding of holiness. And that's why they practice certain rituals. And yet when they meet the real God, who is Jesus Christ, it's like their eyes are open and their heart is full of joy. They are just filled with, finally, recognition of this God that I was seeking that I don't know.

Now I know him. And now I can have a relationship with him through Jesus Christ. Well, and because of that pursuit of holiness, they also understand the concept of sin. And they struggle with that, right?

They struggle with their own issues in that arena. And so when we present the gospel and that here is the God who has sent his son, that they might overcome sin and death, that so resonates with them. And the freedom, I mean, the life transformation that we're seeing in these communities, as they make that confession of faith. And one of the things as I lead them is, is to make sure they're doing this with real understanding. And then at the end of the prayer, they pray the declaration of Galatians 2 20, that I am crucified with Christ, that nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me, as I as as they do that, there's this understanding of the transformative power of the cross and the Holy Spirit, and how the Lord changes their lives. And it is just, it's radically changing their communities.

It's so incredible to get these reports, even in the midst. And I think that's one of the reasons that the enemy is so vehemently and I'm not talking about the Sikh, Calisthenian people, I'm talking about Satan, I'm talking about the evil spirits that are there, the evil spirits that are trying to drive this division, and drive the bitterness and drive the hate and and cause the violence, how that spirit is is just struggling to try to combat and and of course can't can't because my experience is the devil tries to stamp out the gospel. And he does that spiritually through people against ministers. But every time he stamps out the gospel, it spreads like wildfire among God's people.

Yep. And so the devil has a problem that every time he persecutes, that the gospel spreads even further because of the controversy. Everyone's like, Oh, well, what do those Christians know that they are so hated, I should investigate this, and they end up coming to Jesus. So we are praying for the Punjab region. And I pray God's blessing on your ministry.

Please ask your audience to pray for me as I travel to Orissa, but also to Kerala and also to Thailand. We're trying to put together a an agriculture school that will also be governed by Christians. Amen. Amen. Well, I'll tell you, there's back here in America right now, there is there's an ideological war that we're in right now.

And, and I think we need to recognize that in many in many areas, champs, we've we've lost that that war to to several generations of young people who are not hearing the clear and defining message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And, and we're now in a battle in our house of representatives. And again, it's it's it's an ideological battle about who is in control of the government?

Is it going to be K Street? Is it going to be corporations? Is it going to be big government interests?

Or is it going to be we the people? What what's your what's been your thoughts this week, because we've really seen a historic event take place? Well, never in American history has a sitting Speaker of the House been fired or removed from office by a vote of the Congress. But this week, Kevin McCarthy was released by all the Democrats, plus eight angry Republicans, led by Matt Gaetz was the most vocal of those and and he was upset that Kevin McCarthy didn't keep his promises. And those promises, which McCarthy made in order to become speaker in the first place over a year ago, including no deal on you know, the budget, he didn't want to continue funding that it'll end an obscene debt deficit ratio. And McCarthy was unable to do that last week, he was unable to keep that promise because the Senate full of Democrats wants to spend, spend, spend us into oblivion. And McCarthy was unable to get concessions from them.

So he agreed with a 45 day continuation of obscene debt spending. And that was the last straw, I think, for Matt Gaetz, who called for a vote to replace the speaker. Now, there was a deal behind the scenes with Nancy Pelosi reportedly where Nancy was going to rescue Kevin McCarthy from those eight people on the right and give a few or release a few Democrats to vote to keep Kevin McCarthy in place. But Nancy Pelosi broke her word, and zero Democrats voted to keep Kevin McCarthy in place.

And so all the Democrats voted to decapitate him as metaphorically and eight Republicans did, but most Republicans wanted to keep Kevin McCarthy in place. Now he's fired. Now there's a battle for a new speaker and who's it going to be? I know there's three names being floated, but maybe you have more information.

Well, I'm looking and right now it just seems as though there really hasn't been too much movement. There's been some attacks against Jim Jordan, which I think is interesting, but not surprising. Jordan has been pretty outspoken with regards to his positions. And of course, he was the one who stepped up to the House Judiciary to begin the oversight and the investigations. There were some concerns that were expressed regarding how far they went with regards to that. And I know that we on this show have expressed some concerns about it relative to documents that we know were presented regarding election fraud and affidavits from whistleblowers that were sent into the House Judiciary and directly to Jim's office. Now what we know is that it appears that they never made it to Jim. They were actually blocked by the chiefs of staff, both in his office and in the House Judiciary. But again, this is part of the battle that we're facing. And the problem with McCarthy was, part of it was, is he sent these guys on recess, knowing that when they came back six weeks later, they were going to have to do what they've been doing and what they do. And the same thing, Don Jansen and I talked a little bit about this.

I'm trying to just really quick and short. But in Texas, they've been talking about property tax cuts, property tax cuts, we're going to cut your property taxes. And so our legislature passes these bills that supposedly are going to cut your property taxes with this caveat chaps, that when they get back to the local people, they can by discretion, raise them back up again, and increase the assessments. So in other words, the legislature gets to go out and collect money from their constituents, pretending that they've passed a property tax cut, knowing that all they did was create a a mirage. And and then the local ones who who who are in cahoots with them, just bump everything back up again. And so your property taxes never go down.

There's never a real savings. We just had that almost identical problem in Colorado. They had in the Colorado Constitution something called the Gallagher Amendment passed by a former legislator, which kept private property taxes down but raised business property taxes. So for example, Walmart was paying a lot of money for their parking lot because that's a property tax.

But that kept down. You know, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and their house had very low property taxes, but they fooled the voters into revoking that. And now there is no Gallagher Amendment. So everybody's property taxes are going up all of a sudden. And they're like, why did we vote for that? It was sold to us as a tax cut for businesses. Well, it was a tax cut. Now Walmart is getting a deal, but you are paying more on your private property taxes. The voters get fooled by these things every time they try to say it.

And usually these citizen initiative amendments, they're well funded by special interest groups. And they begin the idea without raising taxes, can we raise your taxes, right? So there's some kind of mystery language which it's deceptive and it shouldn't be allowed because it always ends up in a tax hike. Read my lips. Many in my audience may not be familiar with that quote, but that was George H. W. Bush and his promise in 1988 that he wasn't going to raise taxes. Read my lips.

And of course, in 1992, when Bill Clinton ran, that became the primary commercial that Bill Clinton ran on. Read my lips. Hey, George, how's that working out for you? Read my lips.

Because one of the first things they did was pump everybody's taxes up. Yeah, it's yeah. So I want to enter in our we got about about eight minutes left. I want to get a conversation going about the issue of pro-life. There's two things and I saw actually, Epic Times has an article up on this.

I didn't get a chance to really get into it. But there's some concerns. President Trump has has recently said in one of his speeches, that he is going to do something that's going to make both the pro-life and the pro-choice people happy.

I'm not sure how you can make both of those crowds happy. I mean, those are pretty opposite, right? You know, one believes in life at conception and the other one believes, I guess it's if you're a pro-life person that's willing to compromise and say, well, I'm pro-life, but only you know, like, like 12 weeks is good.

I don't know, I'm not I'm not sure how that works. But the other piece to this is, is is that, you know, we we have not seen the house had opportunities to be able to take steps in this direction. And even before McCarthy, I mean, back back when President Trump was in office, and he was very pro-life, but we never saw them really move in that direction. And I think that as we look at what's happening to our children in schools today, the pornographic material, the drag queens, the efforts to, by Planned Parenthood to get children basically involved and engaged in sexual activities, as early as eight, nine years of age.

Chaps, these are the kinds of things that our Department of Education right now is promoting. And and they do have a connection to the leadership in the house, I believe. Well, let's examine first our own house, right? Because judgment begins in the House of the Lord. There is a divide in the Republican Party between the grassroots pro-life conservatives and the RINO establishment money people who would rather trade the issue of pro-life away and side with the Democrats to kill more children. So that is now manifesting in the presidential debates. And sadly, you see President Trump, who is up by, I think, 60 percent in the latest poll over Ron DeSantis or somebody else.

Trump is going to be the nominee. But now he is tacking to the center on the life issue. He has been conservative. He has been pro-life to get our votes. But now if he wins the nomination, he's got to get reelected. And that means beating Joe Biden and that means winning some centrist votes from the pro-abortion crowd. Is he willing to trade principle in order to win election? I'm afraid his recent speeches indicate, yes, that he is moving more of a centrist view. He made a speech last week saying he is in favor very strongly of abortion in the cases of rape and incest. He made another speech criticizing the six week heartbeat bill, which many states have passed now to I think South Carolina among them to prevent abortion if a baby's heartbeat is detected.

Trump says, no, no, that's too radical. We don't want to limit women's right to choose abortion in those circumstances. Maybe it should be 20 weeks.

And so he's hedging and he's moving toward the center. Nikki Haley was doing the same thing, criticizing the right for holding too harsh a view on when does life begin? You and I know life begins at conception. Even Trump knows life begins at conception. Even Nikki Haley knows that if a baby is conceived, regardless of the circumstances, even in the case of rape and incest, the baby should not be the one punished.

The father, the criminal should be punished. But the baby is innocent. And that's a real human being with unique DNA that should never be aborted from conception, not just from heartbeat. But they're doing this to tack to the center so that they can win elections. And when they do, they're going to propose a compromise with the Nancy Pelosi Democrats. And there'll be some pro-abortion Democrats that are all too excited to join the rhinos and the pro-abortion Republicans to carve up the baby.

Right. And the wisdom of Solomon was to metaphor, you know, figuratively suggest we split the baby. No, the right does really want to split the baby.

And that would be the death of the baby. And I'm afraid that's going to not end well. Well, here's the issue. And we talk about slippery slopes.

The issue is this. If we're not willing to stand and defend life, then we've lost everything. And if we allow life to be defined by men, and not by God, then we've lost our Constitution. Because the inalienable rights that are given to us by our Constitution are given to us by God, period. If they're not given to us by God, they're not inalienable rights.

They are as the Democrats have suggested, as Biden said in one of his speeches, their suggestions, their thoughts, but they are not hard and fast. And they can be abolished. And this is the issue that we face. And that's why this abortion issue is so critically important. Because it's the determination of life. And who decides what a life is, and who decides who has value, what life has value. And if we give that decision to man, then we've made man our God.

And as Christians, as followers of Christ, under no circumstance can you do that and find your way into heaven. I hate to be the bearer of that news. But that's a fact. I am supporting, I think, Steve Scalise for Speaker of the House. I know Jim Jordan is a friend. He's very popular. He's good at fundraising. But Steve Scalise is also conservative from the South, Louisiana, I think. And I predicted a year ago that he would have been a better speaker than Kevin McCarthy. And I think if people had listened to me, Steve Scalise would have already been the speaker. It looks like he has more votes, and Jordan is going to have to bow out gracefully at some point.

But he's getting his 15 minutes, and he'll make his points and his speeches. And then he'll hold Scalise accountable so that the Republican Party can lower the budget deficit, can defend the right to life of the unborn, can get Donald Trump reelected. And we can have unity and actually grow and have a conservative Congress after the next set of elections.

Otherwise, you see the Democrats taking back the House. We don't want that. So we've got to stick together, people. It's time to unify. I agree that it's time to unify.

It's also not time to compromise. We've got to tell them that they must take a stand. 202-224-3121 is how you reach your congressional member. That's 202-224-3121. Chaps, thanks so much for being with me.

We're right at the end of our time. PrayInJesusName.org. PrayInJesusName.org.

You can see it up on the screen. You can follow, and there you go. How to liberate the world. How to liberate the world.

It's how you as grassroots can get involved and be engaged in this process. And we need all hands on deck. I'm out for the week. God bless you. Have a great rest of your day. And may the Lord bless you this weekend. Find a house of worship to get into. The only one who truly has the answers is our Father in heaven through Jesus Christ, His Son. I hope you find that truth sooner rather than later. God bless you.
