Dr. David Wurmser breaks down the events happening in Iran

These are domestic terrorists. The six was all deception. The level of sophistication.

Pactic. People were putting on Trump stuff beforehand or taking it off afterward. It was members of our own government.

Morgan has been an FBI informant for a number of years. On January 6th, I said, are you working? He said, yes. This is treason. They want to criminalize dissent. I opened the shutters that had the battering ram. I hear boom. Then they told me to come out, hold a bunch of red dots all over my chest.

They're hunting down Trump supporters. I just walked into a crowd of people. We've been screaming. We've been fighting.

And now I want you to pray with me. I spent the next three weeks in jail. They put me in a cell by my cell, total solitary confinement in a cell not much bigger than a walk-in closet. FBI, guns drawn.

Hands up, hands up, hands up. Put your hands on the wall, hands on the wall. This is psychological warfare.

It didn't have a battering ram in it, but what it did have was a turret on top. He was pointing his gun at all my neighbors, ready to pull up any time he needed to. They handcuffed you. They handcuffed you? Yes. Yes. In 147 days, fitting my wife was murdered.

So I got to be her voice now. There's an old Chinese thing my ancestors learned before the Communist Party took over our country. The family is the essential unit of human society, and that you must have honor and defend your family. But it's not always easy to do.

When the regime gives the order, you have to kill. My heart was pounding. I felt my body bouncing and twisting on the floor. They put numbers on our shoulders, then separated us into rows of even and odd numbers.

I was number nine. My brother, he's still in prison, and my sister, she was sent to a labor camp without a trial. But there's one piece of evidence they haven't been able to destroy yet.

If you missed any part of hour number one, we took a look, folks, at understanding from Dr. Mark Sherwood about the FBI and what's going on there and trying to get a handle, too, on understanding what the boots on the ground, what's the real process that the boots on the ground agent goes through when they're handed a document and told to carry out a particular action. And so we got into some of those conversations. It was a good conversation. Dr. David Simone was just with me, and we talked about what the CDC is doing. And I will have that up later on the website so you can go there. But CDC right now is taking comments relative to the issue of whether or not they're going to make the injection, the COVID injection, a mandatory school age injection.

In other words, if you want your child to be able to go into school anywhere that the that the tyrants have control, then you will be required to have them injected in order for them to go to school, in spite of the fact that that that the injection does absolutely no good for that child and in fact, has been proven to do more harm than good. Thank you. Well, there's a lot happening in the Middle East right now, a tremendous amount going on. And and, you know, unfortunately, a lot of it is not so good.

It's I guess you could say that it's a mix. I mean, the upside is there was a big fire that took place in in Iran. They're there in one of the prisons. Now, my understanding relative to that and I don't know what information, you know, but my understanding relative to that is, is this was a prison that held a number of the dissenters against the current regime. And so there is some speculation that this was an intentional fire designed to kill certain dissenting voices, if you will. But but but the people of Iran are are are rising up on the streets and saying we've had enough. Yeah, there's a major uprising. I really call it a revolt, maybe a counterrevolution going on.

It's been going on for about four weeks. It started with the killing of a young girl and it gained momentum with each act of violence by the regime to try to suppress the first demonstrations and then now outright revolt. So what we have in Iran now is a rising unrest on the streets. Until now, it's been peaceful in terms of, let me put it this way, the riot haven't used live fire to kill Revolutionary Guard, IRGC, IRGC troops, security forces.

When they've cornered one alone, they've beat them. So it's not these are not pacifists. What we've seen in the last few days is live fire being used. I've seen on the web directions how to make an improvised explosive device to throw at the IRGC vehicle, how to use how to convert a set of pipes in your home into a flamethrower, how to and then we've seen two or three cases of assassinations in the last two days. So what's happened is the more violent the government becomes, the more the revolt is beginning to understand they have to fight to win.

Thank you. Thank you for throwing that in because I think there needs to be some impetus on understanding who the IRGC is and and their pension for pension. I don't know the right word to use there. But you know that they they use violence and intimidation. They're they're evil. I mean, they're they are evil and what they do to the people. You know, if you watched American sniper, and you watch the guy with the drill, the quote unquote butcher, though that that kind of attitude and mentality and behavior is the kind of behavior used by the IRGC that's supposed to be the government against the people of Iran in order to keep them in order.

Am I am I out of step in in making that statement? No, I don't think you can be extreme enough in making that statement. These are grizzly ghouls.

There's no other way to put it. This is not a normal government. This is a collection of the worst sadists and ghouls that you can imagine.

They're monsters. The revolution in 1979, you know, we remember them taking our embassy hostage. But we also have to remember that to make their point, their agents shut down a cinema that is sealed up the doors of a cinema with about 1000 people in it and then burned it down to make a point. So and then they have done this again. They did it again a few years ago, killing hundreds in a cinema. And they did it in some prisons before. So that's why this prison fire could well be just execution by essentially By burning people alive. I mean, let's call it what it is. Yeah. This set of this revolt essentially started killing a girl, a teenage girl.

Why? Because a little bit of her hair showed. Another girl has been killed just this week because she refused to sing a particular song that the when they sent the police into the middle school, preschool classes, they demanded that the girls sing a song. And when they didn't praising the leader, Khomeini, when they didn't, he sealed the room and shot tear gas in there and beat up. First they beat up the kids and then they shot tear gas in there.

And of course, there were some girls that were severely injured in one one. So we have now close to 100 kids, kids, girls killed for such simple things like taking off their headscarf by this regime. And when we find out what they've done to these girls, it just makes your blood curdle. These people were that they were only killed and had the dignity simply to die that way.

But the way they were killed and what was done their bodies and to them is it just defies human decency on every level. These are monsters that run the Iranian government. And it raises the very serious question as to why we've treated them like a normal collection of people. They're not they never and they've never behaved that way.

Well, you know, I was trying to see there there was if I could find that but you know, when when you consider this, I mean, think about you know, what would they do or what will they do with $100 billion when when you when you you know, when you look at what it is that they're that they are doing it at at present. And let's not forget the threats Dr. Wormser that they have made towards America towards the West, as well. I mean, to assume that they're going to stop at their borders, and not, you know, move forward with terrorist cells and, and those kinds of plans is naive, to say the least. In 2006, Ali Larry Johnny, who's considered was considered in the by our Western wise men moderate, made it very clear to the British that they need to give in to the Iranians on the nuclear issue. Because really, this is a question in fact, what the what the Brit British should really do. He said this in public, the British should really convert to Islam now, because they will be treated with greater respect.

They convert now than when they're forcibly converted down the road. So if anybody thinks this is a Middle Eastern problem is an ideology that ultimately believes in global conquest, forced conversion of the entire world, and genuinely acts on those principles. So again, I have no idea why the West treated this government in Iran as a normal government. They're not. They're dangerous, dangerous monsters, seeking the most destructive weapons to do to carry out their nefarious and truly nefarious schemes. So you know, we can go through hours of statements by the government that just would make your blood hurdle about exterminating people about treating them in a dehumanized way, forced conversions, global conquest. You don't, I'm just surprised in the West, our press has never really focused and continuously reported on on the name of these guys.

They don't hide it. Right. Well, I you know, they Reuters August 24 2022, a new nuclear deal between world powers and Iran would allow other nations to avoid sanctions and give to Iran $100 billion a year to destabilize the Middle East, according to Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid. Lapid?

Lapid, yeah. Okay. You know, I mean, that that is a huge amount of influence peddling that they would be able to accomplish with $100 billion a year. Oh, God, yes, they, they already, you know, one has to remember when President Trump left office, they were left with $4 billion in reserves, cash reserves, which is nothing it would go away in a month or two, and then they would go bankrupt. And then all the money that goes to their weapons to their missiles to their thugs, to all the criminals they employ, would would would dry up, right, and we were we were almost there. Over the last year, most of the sanctions, not most, but many of the sanctions that were imposed on Iran have already been conceded de facto, we haven't formally lifted sanctions on people, but we haven't been implying them either. So Iran has managed to dig itself out of the hole and has much more cash reserves now.

However, this deal is the minimum that people estimate is between 100 and 150 billion per year. All right, hold that thought. And we're getting into trying to unpack what's going on in Iran and in the Middle East, which is something that I believe we have a responsibility to be concerned about what's taking place over there. Of course, Israel is a target, but all of Western culture is a target by these. And we've allowed ourselves to drift into calling them extremists, but the reality is, is this is Islam. This is what Islam is. And we need to recognize it.

There are two elements, the Shiites and the Sunnis, but they all read from the same book, which is the Quran. All right, Dr. David, we're talking about your thoughts with regards to this uprising that's taking place, speculating on the possibility that the current regime could fail. Go ahead, please. Let's talk a little bit about that.

Sure. Well, first of all, this is more serious than any uprising until now. We've had periodic waves of uprising in Iran against the government that really does show that the people are fed up with their government. But what we've seen now is two or three rounds in the last four to five years. So it's now becoming almost the annual or every two years.

But this one is different in the sense that we're seeing things happening we've never seen before. First of all, four weeks in, the government's throwing all it has to throw against the uprising. We will eventually hear what the full parameters of its repressive policies were, but I would count on the fact that we're seeing hundreds if not thousands already killed by the government in the most cruel fashions. It's truly a horrific crackdown, but they're not going away. Every night the streets turn to the riders, to the uprising again.

I don't want to call them riders because that reminds me of 2020. Those were rioting for a revolution in America. These would be considered more like freedom fighters. These are genuine freedom fighters. These are patriots who are rising up against their government for freedom, not to snuff it out. And they're really bringing bullets to running into the streets.

There's girls who are 15 years old, it's kids running into bullets to take over the streets. It's truly a stunning phenomenon. Second of all, now you're beginning to see institutionally the country shifting. You see strikes that have taken place over the last week to 10 days. First, we're the big ones, we're the bazaars, the markets. For us, that doesn't sound like if your farmer's markets go on strike, except for a few very wealthy people in the suburbs, nobody would notice. But in Iran, that is the functioning structure of the economy, the bazaar. Moreover, the chief bazaar merchants are essentially sanctioned by the regime.

They're intertwined with the regime. These are people who have everything to lose and nothing to gain by going on strike, unless they've put their finger in the wind and they've decided that government's going down. So the bazaars went on strike.

Now, oil is the big thing in Iran. So oil workers now have gone on strike. Natural gas workers have gone on strike. First oil truckers and now truckers as a whole have gone on strike. The national sugar cane structure has gone on strike.

Teachers, most teachers have gone on strike. So what you're seeing is this phase, you're seeing strikes shutting down the economy. And these are not day long strikes, these are they're shut down until there's a new government. So it's a revolutionary strike. So you're seeing sector after sector of the Iranian economy come to a grinding halt as part of this revolt now. And the regime then tries to use violence and intimidation to force them back to work.

They are. In fact, what they've said is we will arrest all of you in the oil fields and bring in Chinese workers. And that's what you're seeing with this government. They're bringing in foreigners. What's happened is that you had significant phenomena of some IRGC officers and lower down defecting. They don't want their fellow countrymen.

And in fact, as cruel as that organization is, you're still going to find some decent people. And same with the military has sort of indicated it won't tolerate certain red lines being crossed, airplanes, et cetera. So what's happened is the government has brought in Hezbollah. It's brought in the Iraqi militias.

It's brought in the Yemenite militias because they will kill. They're not Iranian. It's essentially now an invasion of the world's radicals, the suppressed Iranian people. So I personally think that they may go all the way, that this may be it, that we may be ridding ourselves on their back of this awful regime. And I keep telling Iranians, you've saved many peoples, not just yourself. And that bodes itself well for our next conversation, which we'll have right after the break. And that has to do, too, with Russia having borrowed certain Iranian troops and putting them on the ground in Ukraine. And Russia is kind of quandary now because Ukraine didn't happen as quickly as they wanted.

My very special guest, Dr. David Wormser, Center for Security Policy. We're talking about what's going on in Iran. We're talking about the Middle East and some very significant movement that's taking place over there. Folks, we have to understand, and for many of you in my audience, you may have grown up with Iran and the Ayatollahs and their religious bend towards suppressing women. When you talk about female genital mutilation, a lot of that is a part of the life of the women in Iran. But there was a time when Iran was very Western and very free and people weren't all wrapped up so that all you saw was their eyes.

They were in more Western clothing and the women went to university and the men went to university and there was a lot of that kind of stuff going on. And then in the 1970s, there was this revolution that took place. And many of us might remember that it was under Carter that the Ayatollahs fully came to power. And that was really what kind of ushered in the transition between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

Yeah. I mean, it was also the humiliating, the humiliation of America and the humiliating acceptance of that humiliation by Carter that had a lot to do with the Reagan era and essentially reminding Americans to take control of their own pride and their own greatness away from a president who didn't believe in American decline and American limits. And by the way, the worst of all, American evil, that there was some sense that we deserved what we got from the Iranian revolution because we had been so awful to the Iranians.

And so we had our comeuppance. You saw a little bit of that after 9-11 with the apologists from the Middle East and the Islamic terrorists. And well, after what we've done to them, can we really be – Ilhan Omar and the rest of them certainly believe that sort of stuff.

So yeah, I mean, we have to remember what Carter did and remind ourselves of that era in history. What is amazing is that there is still in Washington, among the foreign policy wise men community, and if you think I'm saying that facetiously, yes, you're right. Among the wise men of Washington, there's still a sense that, oh, well, yeah, this regime is certainly a war-filled, imperfect government. But you know, there's something genuinely Iranian and something genuine about the government. So if we cross it, if we criticize it, God help us if we do anything nasty to it, we're just going to rally the people around the government. Because at this point, what we're seeing is the Iranians are saying things that now that we're paying attention to what they're actually saying, it's stunning. They're burning pictures of Soleimani, Hassan Soleimani, the guy that we assassinated two years ago. If you remember all the pundits in Washington, oh, my God, well, you know, the Iranian government's going to get a boost from this. Oh, the rally around the flag.

Oh, well, he was popular. People loved him, you know, even though he might have been a terrorist to us, people love him. Well, that's the first picture they're tearing down and burning in Iran right now, everywhere. They are furious at him because he was as cruel to them as he is to us.

So the second thing is they're saying your nuclear deal, they use very colorful language to describe what we ought to do to it in certain parts of our anatomy. They are very clear that this nuclear deal that we signed under Obama and are trying to revive now, they see it as a betrayal of the Iranian people to their evil government. They see the money. They see the money that will flow to them. They see that money going into buying more batons and guns and tanks and armored vehicles to repress them.

So they, and then opposite all, to wage wars that they have to pay the price for. I keep hearing Iranians say no Palestine, no Lebanon, no Yemen. That's where the huge Iranian militias, Hezbollah and so forth are fighting Israel, the West.

No Hezbollah, no, basically no Lebanon, no Israel, no Palestine, and no Yemen. Money for Iran, only for Iran. They're basically saying they're using this for evil purposes. So I'm hearing the Iranians come out ferociously angry at the West for negotiating with their government over the nuclear deal.

They don't want that deal. It's interesting, David, there's a similarity with that. I mentioned that yesterday on another topic having to do with the germ thing and what went on with the whole Russiagate. But you know, back when we were watching the GOP had control of the House and the Senate, and the mainstream media would report about the low approval ratings of the GOP. And of course, it was a misnomer because the reality was is that the GOP in Congress was not representing the will of the actual grassroots people who had put the Republican Party platform together, they were not adhering to or following. So there was a negative approval rating amongst within their own grouping.

And then of course, an obvious negative approval rating from the other side that just opposed anything that, you know, was Republican. We're talking about the same kind of phenomena, if you will, that's being misattributed in how the news is reporting the Iranian people's response. Yeah, I mean, there's organizations in Washington who are really regime apologist organizations, like the NIAC, the what is it, some Iranian American Councils, I forgot what the N stands for, National Iranian American Council, whatever. They're really regime apologists, and they've been the ones invited to the White House and are always on TV. And they're basically constantly peddling the regime's propaganda line in a very sophisticated way, which is, oh, you have moderates and hardliners. If you don't behave and give Iran what it wants, the hardliners win, which the historical record shows is a complete lie. Then they turn around and they say, well, yeah, you know, I mean, we don't like Soleimani, but they do, and we don't like their government. But they still see it as that, you know, Islam and legitimacy is still something current there, etc.

So they used to go to, you know, Israel, you don't want to support Israel because the Iranians get, and you certainly don't want any support for the Iranian opposition or for the Israelis to Iranians, because they hate Israel so much that, oh, my God, then you just discredit them. And what we're seeing Iranians come out now, out of the woodwork everywhere in Iran and here, taking every single element that has been sold to us by our elites and disproving it. This is a catastrophic elite failure in foreign policy again. Our understanding of Iran and the Middle East as a whole, again, has been exposed as completely flawed and wrong.

It's the old air breed thing again. You know, you're seeing it, but it has effect on policy. For example, I'm sure we're telling the Israelis, and I think the Israelis, unfortunately, might have convinced themselves to lay low because, oh, if the Israelis are involved, the government will use that and the Iranians will be embarrassed. Iranians are not going to go back into their homes and accept this tyranny just because they've been accused of talking to a Jew.

You know, it's not going to happen that they have bigger fish to fry now, like their personal lives. So that's number one. Number two, we believe it about ourselves. Oh, well, you know, we did that coup in the 1950s, so they must still hate us. And everybody remembers the Shah of Iran and, oh, my God, he's the kiss of death.

So we need to lay low and be, again, same failures. Iranians are screaming for international support. They don't necessarily want us to intervene. They just want statements saying we know how bad the Iranian regime is and we're with you, period. They just want us to side with them.

So they're not, they're very, it's very, sorry about that. No, they're making you very clear what the situation is. And the danger in all of this, it would seem, is that, you know, how Iran falls is going to play a role with this triad situation. And it's interesting, too, because it speaks, I think, yards to the miscalculation of Putin's efforts in Ukraine, although I think he has stepped things up in recent days with the strikes against the municipalities in impacting electricity and water and things of that nature. And now, according to the news yesterday, China has told all of its citizenry in the Ukraine to evacuate. I think you have evacuations taking place all over the place there. I think 17 foreign nations, D.D. Logsdon was telling me yesterday, and the number's probably grown today, that have all instituted evacuation orders for their citizens to get out of the Ukraine, likely because of the concern about a pending nuclear issue. And we can talk about that when we get back.

If I get adrift on this but, you know, there's a challenge here when we talk about Iran, when we talk about Ukraine, when we talk about Putin and we talk about Xi, then we get into conversations about the World Economic Forum and Zelensky and where he's going for money and well, Yuri, the transhumanist guy, and then the head of the WEC, what's his name? The World Economic Forum you mean? Yeah. Oh, Klaus Schwab. Yeah, that guy. He's really Ernst Blofeld in real life. I mean, he looks like him. You see in 007, Ernst Blofeld. He looks like him. I mean, same thing.

Bald scar on his head. Yeah. So anyway, when you get into all of this conversation, okay, and we're talking about, you know, where does America, what role should we be playing internationally? And then people say, well, we're spending all this international money, we're giving all this money to Ukraine and so on and so on. And we have an element that then, you know, gets kind of bogged down.

Yes, 100%, we must take care of our house and our house is out of order right now in major, major ways. But we've joined these two concepts together. And there's pieces of Russian disinformation such as Ukraine is all Nazis and it's about denazification and Ukraine really does belong to Russia and it's always been Russia's. And so therefore, you know, we shouldn't be, Putin's the good guy, you know, riding in on the white horse trying to destroy the world economic forum.

And they're melded, the concepts are all melded together because what makes effective disinformation is granules of truth mixed in with granules of a lie and then putting those two pieces together. Yeah, you know, I think this is an incredibly important point you're raising, which is, you know, there are certain things in America that are very upsetting for Americans in terms of their foreign policy and legitimately so. For example, our way of war is, our way of life is we mind our own business. Somebody goes nuts and threatens our way of life and the ideas that organize our way of life, freedom. We go, we beat them up, we come home and we go about managing our own business again. So there's a deep impulse in America to manage our own business, which is such a healthy impulse.

However, the problem that we're having right now is that there are problems externally that need to be managed or need to be dealt with. And we have a foreign policy elite that is increasingly, I'd say liberal imperialism. They're trying to use our power to impose a liberal values on the world. I can guarantee you if the Iranian government fell tomorrow, the first thing the American government would do was to try to say that they need to ensure that LGBT rights, transgender rights and so forth are preserved as if they're even there right now. And a good example also is that I just read yesterday, we gave $20,000 to our embassy in Ecuador to promote LGBT and transgender rights issues in Ecuador.

It isn't the job of our government to spend American taxpayer money to talk about sex with foreigners. So, you know, I understand this rising welling tide of let's just shut all this down, come home, deal with our problems. We do have to deal with our problems and our foreign policy is becoming a reflection of the worst aspects of our problems. However, American way of life is based on American power and an assertion of American power at times. And we have real enemies who are really trying to threaten our way of life.

And they, as the pastor said, they find kernels of truth and moreover they find in us that they find that are legitimate, but then they sort of hijack and bend and use in a direction that perverts our system. The Chinese are out there pushing LGBT rights. They kill their own lesbians and gays, but they're pushing it here. The Iranians are pushing it here. They're killing their own, but they're pushing it here. The Russians, the same thing in Russia, you know, and this is one of the reasons why you have certain individuals on the Christian right that are like, well, see, look what Putin does over there.

You know, they're moral and so on, but they're not moral. There's a resonance or in physics it's called what is resonant frequency of disinformation from abroad resonating with certain tendencies here to create an extreme reaction. And we have to be really careful about that, how we're being manipulated from some of these forces abroad, because at the end of the day, our power does block them and it blocks them from transforming the world in a very dangerous and very unuseful way for Americans as well. Our way of life would change if we don't stand down some of these enemies and we can't get around that. We're a global power and there's nobody else out there with our values and our structure to do that. So the danger is our internal debate where we're sitting here talking about things that are unraveling the Western structure of values that we're using our foreign policy to impose those.

But at the same time, that's just making everybody say, well, then just don't engage. Why are we sending this to Ukraine? Why are we doing that? Why are we standing up to Putin?

Putin really stands for the values we as Americans on some level want, because he doesn't want everybody to be LGBT and transgender and anti-Muslim and blah, blah, blah, you know, whatever we imagine he is. We have to be careful not to fall into their traps. We are a moral country.

We are not a racist country. We are the voice of freedom for the last 250 years. And we have to remember that. And our way of life depends on us.
