My, my, my. Ready for the weekend and ready for some CGR wellness and some good health to carry into that weekend. And joining me is my CGR wellness expert. I want to welcome to the program, Tim Sheff. Tim, welcome. Good to have you.

Pastor Greg, it's finally Friday. Thank you. Thanks for having me today. I really enjoy your program, enjoy being on it and sharing good health with folks out there that are really concerned about making a difference in the way they feel. Well, I'm greatly, greatly pleased to be able to share this with our folks. And as you all know, these are products that I take, products that help me with my health and certainly products that I hope that you will also embrace. Well, let's, let's, let's get right into this. So first of all, let's, let's know that you're, you're, you're in a different location today. I am. You'll see some of my products in the background because I've got a lot of different things that I use.

Very good. So, but great to be here today. And what we're going to talk about today is brain health, and that's just a huge topic. And I'm really excited to be able to share some products that we can use individually.

So brain health is really fundamental and it starts, you know, even before conception, you know, getting ready for conception. I mean, with brain health, you really want to put in the nutrients that your body requires for good brain health well before the time of conception if you're planning on having children. It's super important because the brain needs fatty acids. That's one of the things that we're going to talk about today is a fatty acid complex. It's omega-3. Now the brain is about 60 percent fat, and it's very important to feed the brain what it needs. So whether it's, you know, you're expecting a fat family, going to get ready to have a family, you're putting omega-3 in your diet, or whether you've had a family, you're getting up there in the advanced age, you want to take omega-3. Very, very important for brain health.

And it's a product that's been around for a long time. It's very safe, it's very effective, and it's readily available. But there's a huge difference in omega-3s. You can get omega-3s just about anywhere. But the good ones, I'm going to share something with you, the good ones are going to be found at CGR Wellness. So those are some of the things that I like to do when I'm looking at using omega-3s. Another is neurological challenges, especially in older adults. Older adults, you know, will end up in the area of dementia. And I want to stop right there just for a minute and talk about my father. And my mom passed away here last October. She was 85.

She had a calcified heart valve. She really didn't believe much in the things that I've done all my life in the area of nutrition, but I had to move in with my dad. He's just getting dementia. I mean, he's not real bad, but he can't stay by himself. I wouldn't trust him to drive the car or, you know, cook on the stove or anything like that. So I kind of live with him when I'm not over at my office working. So I took over that, you know, about a year ago.

And, you know, one of the things I found out when I was looking for care for him outside where I was giving him the home, if I was to have to send him into a nursing facility where they cared for him at the level he was at, it was going to be, I believe, $8,500 to $10,500 a month for care for him. Wow. I mean, that's a lot of money.

Yes, it is. I mean, when you're talking about, you know, trying to prevent yourself from having degeneration of the brain, and we're seeing more and more of this in our society, or at least I am anyhow in my office, a lot of people are starting to go into that. You've got to look at the contaminants that are around, you know, there's a lot of different factors that'll go into that. And, you know, I did neglect to say that there's one other thing when we're talking about a healthy brain, and I want to do that right now, and that's the word of God. It's so important to be in the word of God on a daily basis to have a healthy brain.

Now, the physiological side of the brain we can work with, with the omegas and some of the other products today, but on the spiritual side of a healthy brain comes the word of God and needs to be on a daily basis to be able to take that in and savor it and then to begin to put it to use, because we all can see where we're headed in this world, and we really need to get a change, and it comes up with us Christians standing up for what we believe and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. So, I believe, you know, with omega-3s that an ounce of prevention is more than worth a pound of cure. So, fat is one of the macronutrients. Well, doesn't omega-3 also carry out of your system impurities? So, I mean, if the omega-3 itself is contaminated and it's not pure and so on, then it's not going to be as able to transmute the things out of your body and draw the impurities out of your body that you need as well. Is that not an accurate statement? I would say that is accurate, because you've just got more pollution in with more pollution, and it's not really, you know, you just added the toxicity overall of the body.

And that's just not a good thing. And the reason I bring that up, folks, is, you know, if you're on any kind of, you know, I'm on pain medications, which I have to, which I'm still taking because of all the injuries and so on, but all of that stuff that's in my system has to be pulled out. It has to come out of my system as well.

If it just sits in there, it's going to do damage. And I just recently, I don't know if you can see it or not, but I just recently had my teeth cleaned. Now, I'm going to tell you, it's been five years since the accident, and I hadn't been able to go in and see a dentist and hadn't been able to go in and get my teeth done. They were amazed at the health of my teeth, my gums, my jaw, okay?

They were like, because we were told when I was in the hospital with all the medications I was taking and the, you know, being in ICU and all that stuff that, you know, most people who are in the kinds of catastrophic injuries that I suffered and go through all that, forget it, your teeth are, you might as well just start planning on figuring out how you're going to eat because, you know, your jaw health, everything is going to be destroyed. But because I've been on naturopathics, because of the natural stuff that I've always put in my system, and now the benefit of putting these products into my system, my whole jaw, my teeth, everything is healthier. And I'm sure that a lot of it has to do too with, I take the omega-3s, and I take omega-3s, I take them four times a day. But I'm telling you, not only is it feeding my mind, which they said that I wouldn't have much of, pardon me, my voice just went crazy, but in addition to that, it is also pulling out the chemicals that would normally be left in my system that would potentially cause damage.

So as I was saying, fat is a macronutrient, and it's very, very foundational. And there again, we talk nutrition back and forth and so forth, but he never did come over to try to do any of the things that we're talking about today in order to have good health in your later years. That's why it's so important to start now with the foundation. The healthier the foundation you've got, the better off you're going to be. The better you're prepared for a battle, the better off you're going to be in the battle. If you don't put anything into the system, you can't expect to get anything out in the latter years of your life. It's just not going to work that way.

And I see it all too much. No question. No question. We're going to head into a break here in just a moment. But when we come back out, again, we're talking building blocks, we're talking brain.

What are a couple of the highlights we want to hit when we come back out in this next segment? Well, I'm going to show you a study that he did on some Eskimos. But I'll tell you one thing right now. When you start to combine that with other products, it's going to give a synergistic effect. So Tim, you know, one of the things is, because you've mentioned in a couple of instances, you talked about your mom, bless her heart, and she didn't really embrace all of what you're doing. Now back to Chosen Generation with Pastor Greg. Look, I am for marriage between a man and a woman. I am for life from conception. I am for following the Bible and I believe that our founders started this nation on biblical principles.

I am in support of our military and believe that America should play a role in world security. I believe our Constitution was intended for a moral people and that the Bible contains the only true moral code. That to love also means to be willing to take the risk necessary to conquer the world and the world and the world and the world and be willing to take the risk necessary to confront a friend with the truth in hopes that their heart will be turned because their life matters even if it means in that moment they will possibly hate me. It means that I must risk scorn to stand for truth and that I can never sit silently by while evil attempts to conquer the world. God is my everything and Jesus is the love of my life. That does not make me weak but strong, not silent but bold and not fearful but courageous. Therefore, if you are my friend, while we may not fully agree, know that I share what I share because I care. If you strongly disagree with these beliefs they are not debatable for me and you can, if you choose, unfriend me. I do not say this in anger but in love. I wish for you eyes to see and ears to hear that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and that God, not man, gets to decide what is truth, life and the way. God bless you. The whole body functions as one unit and it starts with the brain.

Take for instance my barber. He just lived life. He ate the great American diet but he just did not get the nutrition I think out of what he needed to have to be able to maybe have a different outcome in his life.
