Hi, everyone. It's Brian Kilmeada on an extremely difficult day. I can't imagine, this is gonna be a day like no other in the show. Like so few, because I mean, the aftermath of the stunning assassination of Charlie Kirk, the fact that we cannot find his assassin. We have so many questions about what killed the 31-year-old, the impact he made.
He literally delivered the youth vote and possibly the election for the biggest upset and the biggest political comeback in American history, Donald Trump. He is almost like a. Another son of Donald Trump's. And that's not not only do they believe that, I've seen it, I've witnessed it. And now you have a situation where the President is Without his wing, man, when it comes to the next generation of Republicans, America is reeling from it.
And what so make this so unique is usually when you talk about people involved politically, they're 50, 60 years old, they get involved later in the beginning, they're all cut up, but people that know Charlie Kirk. knew him when because of what he did. when they were on college campuses, knew of him because he represented the next generation of Republicans, because he burst on the scene at the age of eighteen years old. I thought Mark Levin put it best to try to make sense of his death. Cut sixteen.
You heard the Governor Utah. You heard him tell you. that they have capital punishment And you need to be put to death. and they need to find this guy. who killed this young man, who assassinated Charlie Kirk in front of 3,000 college students.
And I'm not kidding. This is an attack on our republic. People say this needs to end now. This needs to end now.
Well, the only way to end it is to make an example. And enough is enough with life terms, enough is enough with all the rest of it. This guy needs to pay the price, and the whole country needs to see it. And that's true. And we don't know who that guy is.
And I'm getting worried that we might never. I mean, since when have you ever heard of an investigation where the FBI says we've got a guy in custody? Nope, we don't. We have a guy in custody. No, we don't.
I mean, I get up at two thirty in the morning to get ready for this show, and I'm watching the repeat of ABC World News tonight because usually I have seen the show from the night before on Fox. And they're reporting that the guy's captured.
So for the FBI to say it, it makes me think that this is well thought out. It's well choreographed.
Now, when I said it's a big show and an impactful show, It's because this is also 24 years since the 9-11 attacks. I was on the air that day. Tony Snow was doing this show, but I was on the air that day on Fox and Friends. And we'll talk about that in a moment because the President of the United States is going to commemorate that. He's coming to New York City today, and he's going to be throwing out the first pitch of the Yankee game.
Who, when word got out about Charlie Kirk's death, the Yankees had a moment of silence, which is really extraordinary, which shows you That if you didn't know what an impact he made, now I hope you do. This was one guy, like a happy warrior, he would go on and take battle with, whether it was Van Jones attacking him like he did three days ago, or it was a sophomore who believed he was intolerant towards some type of belief, whether it was marriage. Or whether it's between trans rights or locker rooms, but he would take on the debate. That's what it was all about. I mean, it was called the American Comeback Speaking Tour.
They had 15 stops. This was the first one at Utah Valley University. And he was doing the thing he called Prove Me Wrong, where you step up to the microphone and you bring up whatever topic you want. He gives his opinion, usually it's contrary to yours.
Sometimes people just got up and asked for advice. And then he would spar with them. And it would be interesting. People would clap and they'd ooh and they'd ah, and it didn't matter. But the whole thing was this was a niche thing on college campuses.
Did you hear there's conservatives on college campuses? Years later it becomes a big thing, the place to be. But in terms of the assassin, This is what worries me. I mean, it looks like the assassin. The only thing we know is blue jeans, black vest, black shirt.
One person said had a mask. We see this footage of a guy moving on the top of a building. Could that have been security? I doubt it, since there were only six campus cops there. I know.
Six campus cops in an outdoor event when there's a myriad now we understand of Death threats against him.
Well, Stuart Car Kaplan is a forensic specialist at the FBI. And he's looking at what we know. And I basically shared to you on the outside. He's got context on the inside. And this guy knew, and we assume it's a guy.
This guy knew what he was doing, cut seven. This individual had a plan of escape. to elude detection of being out. up on a rooftop And also Being able to evade and elude law enforcement after that shot was taken. When you take a look at what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, Crooks came onto the venue.
He left the venue, he came back, he was questioned. I mean, it was really an amateur. Uh scenario This assassination of Charlie Kirk to me. is indicative of a professional hit. And I'm not so sure.
That we are going to quickly be able to apprehend this individual without some luck. You had to avoid the tent. You had to hit him. and an assassin would go for the head. He had one shot.
He could have created havoc by just shooting randomly. If he was just a rage guy at everyone in the audience, but instead he had one goal. is to go after Charlie Kirk, and he did it. And he left cut eight. When you take a look at the video and you take a look at the venue and the spectators and how close they are.
to Charlie Kurt, and then you have that kind of like umbrella over him, that kind of tent. You have to know that this shooter had to be perched in a position With respect to being able to lay his sights perfectly, basically, a headshot. And the shot that was taken was taken to immediately incapacitate. Charlie Kurt. And he did, and the video is horrific.
It's something that if you saw it on a battlefield, you thought it would be horrific. If you thought it in a movie when they try to maximize gore, you thought it would be horrific. It is terrible, and it's going to be it's very hard to get out of your head.
So if you haven't watched it, don't.
So they picked up a guy, the Utah Department of Public Safety. They initially took in this guy, George Zinn, as a suspect. He was later released and charged with obstruction of justice. And then they took a second suspect in, Zacharis Khorishi, who was taken into custody, released after an interrogation. No current ties to the shooter, whoever that shooter is.
So what do you do? I mean, how many people could be going after Charlie Kirk?
Well, the answer, according to Charlie, was a lot of people. He says he's constantly getting death threats. That's why he had his own security team. But when you have a security team, they're protecting you. They're not securing the venue.
That's secret service or that's private security. And that's something that you would think that Charlie Kirk events would have, especially an outdoor event. I'm not telling people, I'm citing now that only six campus cops for 3,000 people, even if it was the friendliest meditation system ever, do you think six cops could handle a situation where things got out of control?
Meanwhile, the President of the United States, as I mentioned, personally friendly with Charlie Kirk. I was personally friendly with him, too. He came on my Sunday show all the time, One Nation. In fact, there was a period of time when they were doing Fox Nation, was streaming his live events. And then they stopped doing it, kind of doing his own thing.
But then after uh after doing it for a little while, They decide to resume it. Charlie Kirk was in this building two weeks ago talking about some way to work together at Fox. And you know what? Everyone loved having him on. There wasn't a time I had him on where I didn't get a text afterwards.
That was great. Let me tell him, he's got 5.6 million followers.
So a lot of times I reach out to him. I've just said, listen, by the way, can you hate your followers? He goes, My team is already doing it to let them know you're on the show for Sunday at 10. And also, I was supposed to speak at a vent in his in August, didn't work for my schedule, and then I was rescheduled for this fall. I'm sure the event's still going to happen.
We'll see what's going to happen.
Meanwhile, the President of the United States went from a statement announcing his death to actually being on camera. Here he is, cut thirteen. Charlie Kirk traveled the nation. Joyfully engaging with everyone interested in good faith debate. His mission was to bring young people into the political process, which he did better than anybody.
Ever. To share his love of country and to spread the simple words of common sense. On campuses nationwide, he championed his ideas with courage, logic, humor, and grace. It's long past time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree day after day, year after year. in the most hateful and despicable way possible.
I mean, people just gotta lower the temperature everywhere. You gotta watch their words. Everybody both sides, but it seems like Republicans are under attack. This is what worries me about the would-be assassin.
Now Trump is a force. Trump can't be stopped. It looks like he's on his way to another victory. Despite all the court cases, despite all the headwinds, despite the civil cases trying to bankrupt him, he's on his way back to the White House.
Next thing you know, there's two assassination attempts to stop him. I'm not saying that was coordinated. This guy, Crooks, seems like just a crazed teen, twenty something, looking for some relevance. We still don't know a lot about Crooks. The second guy is putting on a circus of a trial.
But you couldn't stop Trump. And he goes to victory. And he goes in there and says, I'm not playing the inside game. I'm playing my game. And anybody that's going to be against me, working against me, who tried to put me in jail and bankrupt my company, I'm getting ready.
I don't care if people talk about Vendetta's. I'm clearing the field to be able to be president of the United States. I would argue outside people in positions of power, the next most powerful person that would keep the Republicans a force that is entertaining and intriguing the next generation of Americans while they're throwing out the illegal immigrants who Democrats wanted to make Americans is Charlie Kirk. How do you stop him? He's 31 years old.
The guy's en route to be governor and president of the United States while growing this organization. This is the only way to stop him, to kill him. Because he was not going to be stopped, whether it was on podcasting, it was on his radio show, or he was doing his live events, or doing his public appearances. This is the only way to stop him. And my worry is other countries know that Trump's a problem, that they can't deal with him.
And the one way to make sure that there's no Trump next is to stop the guy who is the engine behind the movement. You listen to the Brian Kill Me show. Glad you are. Back in a moment. Giving you everything you need to know.

Welcome back, everybody. It's one of those really hard days looking back at 24 years since the 9-11 attacks. We were watching that tape back a little bit earlier since what happened on the TikTok that led to the attacks in the aftermath. One of the people that was life was affected forever and has helped everybody's lives since is Frank Siller, Tunnel to Towers Foundation founder, whose brother Stephen Siller died in the attacks. I was able to join him.
He was able to join me today on Fox and Friends. I wanted to bring that back for you. Let's listen. Twenty-four years ago, FDNY firefighter Steven Siller had just finished his shift when he learned American Airlines Flight 11 hit the North Tower. He ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel with sixty pounds of gear to get to the World Trade Center, ultimately giving his life for others.
His memory lives on through the Tunted Towers Foundation. Tunted Towers CEO, great friend of the show, Stephen Siller's older brother, Frank Siller, joins us now. Uh Frank, uh I imagine for you being down there Um is a non-stop memory of what your brother did. Uh yeah, for sure. I mean I'm right at the mouth of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel right now.
Um you know When we found out as a family what he did 24 years ago, that he found the way to get in there because the tunnel was closed. He put his gear on his back and ran through that tunnel. you know, went up West Street and I believe he went into the South Tower 'cause that's where other Squad one members were recovered, and you'd want to be there fighting the fire, fighting this battle with the people you trained with. And while saving others gave up his life, we knew that we had to do something to honor that great sacrifice. And we started a foundation, a very simple You know, we had no grand plans.
We just wanted to. Never forget what he did because he was a father of five. His kids were nine. Five. Four.
two and a half and nine months old. uh when he when he perished that day and uh It was a big loss for us as a family. He was our baby brother, youngest of seven kids, and he was a lot younger than all of us. And uh it it was it was crushing. We were proud of what we did and we started the foundation.
You did, and this year alone, 21 mortgage-free homes to fall in first-responder families in honor of 9-11.
So you guys have evolved according to the needs of the American people, whether it's the after effects of the 9-11 attacks, the families directly affected by the 9-11 attacks, and now first responders. That was, what about the decision? to continue to grow as the needs grew in America.
Well, that was dictated to us. I mean, we, you know, we are very spiritual people. our faith, it guides us at the foundation. And God keeps on telling us to do certain things. You know, we realize that paying off mortgages for these families that pay the ultimate sacrifice, what could be better than that to make sure that families could stay in their homes, especially of our first responders and firefighters.
So, yeah, so today, 21 homes. Why? Why today? I'll tell you why. Because we want to make sure that goodness always triumphs over evil.
It does every time, Brian, it does every time. And we fight this war against these evil people by doing good. In honor, not just of Stephen's name, because there was 2,977 souls that died that day, 343 firefighters, 37 Port Authority police officers, 23 NYPD, three court officers, and so on and so forth. And we're never going to forget that sacrifice. And that's why we make sure today, and six of them, died of 9-11 illnesses that still had young families.
So it is our duty to do this as Americans. And we're proud to do it. Through the Tunnel Flight Tower's Foundation.
So often you pick up the phone, you talk to the families, and it's the hardest thing ever right after they lose their loved one. And Anthony Casino is an example of that. He gets a mortgage, his family gets a mortgage for your home. New York City Department took part in 9-11 rescue and recovery efforts on ground zero. And he passed away September 7th.
What could you tell me about the Casino family?
Well, look, they're one of many families that were down on the pile digging, looking for my brother, looking for their brother firefighters, and just civilians in general. And they were down there every single day. They were told the air was clean and it would be okay. But, you know, it's just the sacrifice that keeps on being made by these men and women that give it all is incredible. And so, you know, he's one of many that paid the ultimate sacrifice by protecting us.
We're blessed in America. We have heroes. We have heroes. And as Americans, we better make a promise. I know Tunnels with Howard, we made a promise.
We're going to take care of every single one of them forever. Not just 24 years, not 25 years, not for 50 years, but forever, because there's always going to be these great heroes that run towards the danger. They ran towards these buildings 24 years ago, and afterwards, they were digging there, looking for their loved ones. And the Tunnel Tower is going to be there for them forever.
So Frank does not solicit money on 9-11 for obvious reasons, but we can. You heard about how great this cause is. You've seen the impact they already made. Make this the year, make this the time. You go to t2t.org and be part of the SILAR mission, the Talented Towers mission.
Franks, thanks so much. Thank you, Brian. And God bless Charlie Kirk and his family. Always great hearing from Frank. Just what a great guy.
Always helping people every single day. Never will stop. And his marathons and his events are just amazing.

It's Brian Kilmeade. Hey, welcome back, everyone. The Brian Kill Me Show on this horrific day, 9-11, 24 years later, memorials going on downtown New York City, where I'm located. And they're reading all the names to see the family, grandpeople, grandsons, granddaughters being able to - aunts, uncles for people maybe they never met, but they want to pay tribute to.
Next year, not only are we celebrating 250 years. 250 years of America. You're celebrating not celebrating, you're marking twenty five years since the 911 attacks, the worst attacks on American soil ever. The President of the United States is at the Pentagon. Excuse me, he is uh in downtown New York City.
Is that correct? He's in downtown New York City. Yes, and he is going to be at the Yankee game tonight throwing out the first pitch. Extremely solemn day.
So not only did America lose this fantastic political figure, thirty one years old, who we've known since he was eighteen, in Charlie Kirk, I mean, basically Donald Trump has has lost what many people say was like a son. and certainly Eric and Don have said that he was like a brother. Joining us now is Congressman Jody Arrington, House Budget Committee Chair, and joins us, of course, from Texas. Congressman, so much going on. Where do you want to start?
Oh man, this is a heavy day, Brian. Thanks for having me. My heart's heavy. I'm sure. Americans across the country.
Charlie, what a beautiful. Heart, what a brilliant mind, and what a What a strong voice For all that has been good about this country and calling the next generation of Americans. to return to those values that made America great. great and uh I just Heartbroken and so. Prayers to his family, lots of thought.
about that but I also want Want to say prayers to the families of the victims of 9-11 every day. Yes is a day that they still grieve that loss. God bless those. First response. Responders.
They are heroes, and those soldiers and sailors that were part of the post. 9-11 effort to keep that from. Ever happening again, along with a president who I served with in the White House, George. Could you stood on that rubble and said, We're going after the guys that did it. going to hold them accountable.
This never happens again on my watch. That's the kind of vigilance That's the kind of determination that That's the kind of will. We have to have it from our commanders in chief, and we have it in spades. with our current Commander-in-Chief Donaldson. Trump.
Yeah, by the way, George W. Bush, I think people are realizing what a challenging time he had, and some of the decisions he made were great. And I think people are beginning to appreciate him more. It kind of got swamped in the Trump and Obama era. But I think we both remember what a quality human being he is, by the way, too.
So now the President of the United States, he's personally affected by this. He's actually at the Pentagon. I was wrong, but tonight he's going to be in New York City throwing out the first pitch for the Yankees in the Yankees game against Detroit, marking 9-11, 24 years since. Remember, the Yankees were the first team back after. And George W.
Bush went out to the mound and threw that perfect strike with all the pressure and the bulletproof vest on. First off, when it comes to Charlie, you have a guy from long-range view about 200 yards, 500 feet at the top of a building. Take him out. There's so much going on. I mean, number one, six campus cops cannot secure any venue, especially an outdoor venue.
No. No, not not. With a venue like that, not with a figure, a political figure, a public figure like Charlie. I couldn't agree more. That's something I'm sure that will be discussed and investigated.
You know, we live in a an open society and I'm I Thank God for that. I don't want that to change. which means we all have to be more vigilant. means we have to We have to think about these things to a much greater degree But because of the openness of our society, let me say something about Charlie though, Brian. While we all conservatives appreciate What he's done.
the movement.
Okay. in particular, the younger demographic. But not since the Lincoln Douglas department. Has anybody More positive influence. on restoring a core democratic Yeah.
of exchanging ideas In an impassioned but civil debate like Charlie Kirk. And man, have we lost our way. I'm a former vice chancellor of a major uh research university in texas before I took On this. this job and mission in Congress. And I'm just Challenge it to What he's done.
To restore that, it may be one of the greatest contributions, I think, in modern history. strengthening our democracy and our democratic republic. not just Republicans or conservatives. that have reaped the benefits of his courageous leadership. It's the entire country.
How important is it to get this shooter and begin to unwind what happened? Because I always think big picture, and the fact that he knew what he was doing. The fact that he plotted and planned and had an escape plan, already better than the last two assassins. Number two, one shot, one hit. And he's going for the kill shot, all lethal things that an evil terrorist would do.
But then, what's behind it? And I look at the power of Charlie Kirk, who you just described wonderfully. This guy really was in power of the next generation of political Republicans. He inspired them.
So, let me see. I can't stop the Trump train, tried everything. The MAGA movement, we tried to marginalize it and vilify it. That didn't work. It only got bigger.
That was Joe Biden, who thinks that MAGA was a bad word, make America great again, genius. And then you take the person most responsible for the next generation, 31-year-old Charlie Kirk. How do you stop him? Well, we tried the other stuff. How about we kill him?
And that's what I worry about.
Someone saying, I don't care the price. We need to make sure that Republicans Don't dominate, and we got to take the guy most responsible because I hate to tell you, he's not replaceable. No, he's not. He's special on so many levels. But look, this rise in an ideological viewpoint that the end justifies the means is a major threat to our civil society.
Where people, stable and unstable alike, start to believe that by doing these things, they're actually helping the country. Instead of an act of terrorism, which this is, obviously, they see it as an act of patriotic. heroism. That is Sick, and as the Bible says, there will be a time when people called good evil and evil good. And my friend Brian was in ways that should scare all of us.
It it's Underlying Yeah. that are familial They are societal, they are psychological, they go far beyond. the reach of some legislation, but in terms of lawmakers, Every lawmaker ought to be condemning these acts of violence of all kinds, including political. We should hold people accountable and we should stop. up now and forever the culture of lawlessness that we experienced over the last several years.
And we should do what President Bush did after 9-11. That we're returning to now, and that's vigilance. Vigilance around the world where there are threats, vigilance. at our southern border where we've allowed Yeah. people to pour in.
Record numbers, by the way. on the terrorist watch list. not an if But when situation, if President Trump doesn't become president and doesn't Vigorously export people that have been to this. in this country illegally. I I just there's a lot of lessons.
Of thoughts here at the end of the day. Um leaders need to lead with their rhetoric responsibly, not recklessly. Yeah. Yeah. The first and most important job: providing the common defense at every level, in every way.
And we've got that today. We have to sustain that and learn from the. Mistakes of the last several years. Yeah, Congressman, I'll tell you. I wanted to talk to you about the budget, inflation, all that stuff, because I know that your expertise is a big, beautiful bill.
You engineered it through and helped write it. But I have to save that for another day, and I'm sure you can understand that. But we'll have you back as soon as your schedule clears. Congressman Jody Arrington, thank you so much. Thank you, Brian.
God bless. When we come back, Democratic Congressman Tom Swazi, don't move. Diving deep into today's top stories, it's Brian Kilmead. It's Will Kane Country. Watch it live at noon Eastern Monday through Thursday at FoxNews.com or on the Fox News YouTube channel.
And don't miss the show. Listen and follow the podcast five days a week at Foxnewspodcasts.com or wherever you download your favorite podcasts. If you're interested in it, Brian's talking about it. You're with Brian Kilmead. Hey, we are back, and joining us now is Congresswoman from New York, from Long Island, right by my house, Congressman Tom Swazi, the House and Ways Committee Chair, a moderate in the House, a voice of reason often as we look at 24 years since 9-11 and try to make sense of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The FBI just gave a press conference. We got some news on that. They've exhausted every lead, they said. It looks like they know who the gunman is. They have an image.
He fled into a neighborhood. The suspect blended in with the college crowd to get out. The weapon has been recovered in a wooded area, and they believe the shooting was targeted, the community not at risk. And here's the quote: We have images of the suspect, not sure how far the gunman has gone. They got a hundred and thirty tips.
So Your thoughts, Congressman Tom Swazi, on this really heavy, impactful day? Yeah. Thanks, Briar. It's very sad. It's a very sad time.
You know, you have the different emotions of anger, of sadness. of a loophole all these different things people are feeling right now. And we really gotta just get back to our basic values and start loving each other. And Getting back to the basics of what are we doing? I mean, this with the United States of America.
We've got to pull together. Stop looking everybody in a camp. Democrats versus Republicans. conservatives versus progressives. Let's figure out how we can talk to each other.
We don't have to agree with each other on everything, but let's talk to each other. Let's take down the rhetoric. And let's try and find solutions to the problems that we face because we have real problems with the cost of living and immigration and taxes. Crime and healthcare. Let's let's Let's work I mean I went to a mor meeting this morning at like 8 o'clock or 8.15.
And it was Democrats and Republicans. There were a few senators there. 15, 20 members of Congress. talking about working together on permitting reform. We talked about 9-11, we talked about Charlie Cook.
And, you know, people are that most people in government want to do the right thing. They want to work together. it's just become so toxic.
Someone said, you know, what if what if what if social media was around in uh around nine eleven? What would have happened then with all the conspiracy theories and stuff?
So I'm the co-chair of a group called the Problem Solvers Caucus. It's 50 members of Congress, half Democrats, half Republicans. We're trying to find common ground on permanent reform, on immigration, On debt and deficit, on a bunch of stuff. We gotta figure out how we can get people to just. Start working together more.
Even if they don't agree, let's find on everything. Let's try and find the places we can agree and try to move forward.
So tell me if I'm right here, because you're in the fray and I'm just reporting on it. It seems like we used to identify the problem and have different ways to solve it.
Now we have different ideas of what a problem is. You point out crime. There's no crime they're trying to make get votes. The border's sealed. The border's sealed.
You didn't say this, that's why you got elected. The border's sealed, it's not a problem. Really? It's not a problem. Of course it's a problem.
Oh no, it's not a problem. You see all those Haitians underneath the bridge? What's going on?
Well, it's it's okay. We'll handle it. And you got elected because you go, No, no, it is a problem. You were the first, basically, the Democrat to say, Why are we doing this?
So, I did a press conference on. I just went to the border last weekend: three Democrats, three Republicans. I said, listen, the President is right about the need to secure the border. The President is right that we need to deport violent criminals. The President is right that we need a whole of government approach to go after the cartels because the cartels are making billions of dollars every quarter by not only exploiting people and charging them to take them to the border and tell them how to exploit the game the system, But they want to overwhelm the system again because it we're they're actually seeing an increase in numbers now 'cause the cartels are sending out disinformation saying it's okay to come again.
And they want to overwhelm the system so that they can get the drug smugglers and the sex traffickers to get more people across the borders.
So if the Border Patrol is overwhelmed, They can't focus on the drug smugglers and the sex traffickers because they gotta deal with all the BS asylum claims, of which 85% get denied, but they take six to eight years because everything's so overwhelmed.
So we got to stop saying Democrats versus Republicans and Republicans versus Democrats. We've got to say. Team America versus the criminal enterprises that are exploiting our system and hurting people and trying to wreck us. And now our foreign adversaries are teaming up with these cartels. 'Cause they see it as being a vulnerability for to go after us.
So we got to we got to work together to secure the border permanently. you know, take the stuff the President said, but make it permanent. By passing legislation, fix the broken asylum system, and we got to start treating people like human beings. Instead of just going after the cartels, I mean, we should be going after the cartels, like main effort. Going after the cartels, sealing the border, fixing asylum, and let's treat people like human beings in the process.
People don't want these workplaces raided, they don't want families separated. If you've been here for more than ten years and you haven't committed a crime, Other than not having documentation, let's figure out a way to get you a work permit so you can go to work and you don't have to look over your shoulder every day. You can pay taxes. See, you know, that's interesting. I thought the same thing.
I give you citizenship. Extended work these days. You can live here, you can work here, you can pay taxes. You know, we should do something special for the dreamers, the young people that came, but You know, let's figure out what we can agree upon. And let's, we don't want to separate family.
I'm working on building a coalition of business. Badges and the Bible. And b business, they need the workers. Badges, local law enforcement. I used to be the county executive of Nasser County, the mayor of Glencova, oversaw the police departments.
they want to get along with the local community. If people are afraid to talk to the cops, 'Cause they if they get robbed or they get beaten up or something like that, they don't talk to the cops. Where do they go for protection? They go to gangs. We don't want that.
We don't want an underground.
Well, I mean, there's there's a couple of things.
So people that have been here over uh like for for a significant amount of time can get a sponsor to say that they've been uh law-abiding citizens. But then workers got to turn around the employees got to turn around and pay them what they would be paying an American. And they got to raise their wages. And if an American's going to get insurance, then you give them insurance if they qualify. But that's part of the reason.
Yeah. So that's part of the reason why, okay, I'm looking to make more of a profit, I'm going to use illegals. You know, I don't know what was going on in Georgia, but there was something a little dicey going on there. Evidently, a lot of people were saying those Koreans were working for slave wages. I'd like to get to the bottom of that.
But I think only because the border's sealed, Congressman Swazi, is this a conversation. We ne I never thought the border would be shut down like this.
So if you go down there and admit that, hey, this president's knocked down the board, I can't believe it, but we got to help the farmers, the meatpackers, and the hospitality workers, then I think you might have Republicans listening up. And treat people like human beings, too. I mean, you know, we've got to balance the two. You're absolutely right. No, listen, I'm the first to say it.
The the president was right on those different things that I said before. The border is better than it is now. You talk to the intelligence people down there. The cartels are putting out disinformation saying it's okay to come to the border again. You could get asylum again.
The border patrol agents are saying, Listen, we're going to arrest you, we're going to deport you immediately if you try and come and seek asylum in between the ports of entry. They are trying to overwhelm the system again.
So, Congressman, let's stay in touch. I love the idea of the problem solvers and start moving forward together. I appreciate it. Congressman Tom Swasey, thank you.
Alright, when we come back, okay, this hour is concluded. We'll continue the latest reporting. And the brain killed me too. From the Fox News Radio Studios in Midtown Manhattan. It's the fastest growing radio talk show.
Brian Kilmead. Hi everyone, welcome to the latest moments of the Brian Kill Meet Show. I come to you from Midtown Manhattan where downtown Manhattan is a site of 24 years, remembering 24 years since the 9-11 attacks. You see the families, you see the relatives down there still remembering men and women long retired back in uniform for this day. And then you think about next year.
You're going to be marking 25 years since the 9-11 attacks and celebrating 250 years of our country. And a lot going on today. Everyone's thinking about Charlie Kirk and what took place. Yesterday, the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The FBI has just had a press conference.
And it's much better the news than I thought. It looks like they found the weapon in a wooded area. It looks like they have images of the gunman. It looks like, as I mentioned, they have the gun. They say the community is not at risk to get out.
He blended in with the college crowd. That means they know a lot, in my view. Obviously, the shooting was targeted. and uh not sure how far the gunman has gone. Would people have told me you know the area?
Mountains everywhere, woods everywhere, and Airport close. At least they have him. If they know who it is, I'm convinced they'll get him. Stuart Kaplan, former FBI agent, fantastic insight. He had joined me on Fox and Friends two hours ago.
His information was cutting edge. He's going to be following this story and have new information since that press conference. Also, Senator Shelley Moore Capito, she is going to be joining us from. Washington, we thought one of the big stories was a way to get over 100 nominees for the president being held up for pure political reasons. Quickly confirmed.
Now we're going to talk much much more serious stuff. A man who does not have to be told about the gravity of this day is former Governor George Pataki. He's going to be joining us this hour.
So, monitor what's happening. The President of the United States is also commemorating the 9-11 attacks. Where the planes hit the building at 9:45. 184 people lost their lives. The President, the Secretary of War, Pete Hagseth, are addressing the crowd.
Meanwhile, I'm going to go with Charlie Kirk for now. I just want to bring you back to what happened about 20 hours ago. This thirty one-year-old making a huge impact as he planned 15 stops on his America Comeback Speaking Tour, and he does this thing called Prove Me Wrong. where he goes one-on-one with would-be student you know, students And he wants people to disagree with him. And he sits there, and it's goes his most of this stuff goes viral, and he goes at it.
And then people are mad at him, and they yell. And he never yells. He's always calm. He just wants to be able to finish his point, and I think it's gotten him to be rock star status until his little assassination. How there could only be six campus cops or six local cops there for a crowd of three thousand in the open air, knowing that Charlie Kirk has gotten death threats from around the world He said the other day He says, I know I'm a target.
He says, I'm a target of purple-haired jihadis. I'm a target of Woke guys who want to kill me.
So It wasn't enough. Here's uh Chief Jeffrey Long. Cut four. This was an open venue. This is outside.
We did have six officers work in that event. and we had probably over 3,000 people that were in attendance. And so he was kind of in a lower area. surrounded by by buildings.
Some plainclothes police officers that were in the crowd as well. You know, we train for these things, and you think you have things covered. you know these things um Unfortunately, they happen. You try to get your bases covered, and unfortunately, today we didn't. Because of that, we had this tragic incident.
So we did have officers there. We had Charlie Kirk's team. He has a security team that travels with him. And they were here with him when he was shot. I'm not blaming Chief Jeffrey Long.
I'm not blaming the six people that were there. It's just two signs off on the security for these events. And is this another situation where they don't have enough cops in these towns, in these cities, in these states? Joining us now is Governor George Bataki. Governor, it's always great to have you on, but on this day, in perspective, 24 years later, and I want to talk about Charlie Kirk, but I'm also so impressed that we still read the names.
The memorial has only gotten nicer. Sadly, we're adding names because of cancers, exotic cancers that were actually inflicted a lot of people that have shown themselves 10, 15 years later. But your thoughts about coming up on year 24. You know, it's Brian, it's still like it was yesterday. I'm down here now at the memorial.
The names are being read, and you see the family members, and for them it's like it was yesterday. And I have to say, Today It's like it was yesterday for me too. It's just something where the horror of that day And the attack on our freedom is something Uh, you just can't forget, and ultimately, that will be me, be with me for my entire life, no doubt. Uh and then we watch the the rubble, then we watch the clearing cleaning up. And then we watched the struggle for a few years as you tried to, everyone tried to agree on how it was going to be rebuilt.
That was also not an easy time. Brian, it was an incredible battle, but you know, it didn't bother me because I knew we weren't building for. the next year, the next 18 months, we're building for the next generations. And I wanted to tell the story of the attack In a way that people who weren't born. September 11th could understand.
And I think we've done that. with the memorial, with the museum. I'm sitting here at the reflecting pools with the names around them. And uh a kid it was not even born twenty four years ago could come here and appreciate the the magnitude of the loss that we had that day. But then You know, I also said we're going to come back better and stronger and Sitting at the base of the Freedom Tower, and it's 1776 feet tall.
We wanted to show that New York. wasn't going to be frightened, wasn't going to be cowed. We were going to rise to new heights. And we have it. Sadly, you know, we're struggling now.
In New York, but this is America, this is New York. With the right leaders, we'll get through it. Yeah, if the right leaders.
So on 9:14, President Bush came to New York City. Uh and he gave tribute to the first responders, cut 35. The nation sends its love. and compassion. Bless the man!
Everybody who is here. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for making the nation proud. And may God bless America. But he didn't stop there.
Cut 36. I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon. There was no teleprompter out there, Governor Bataki.
That came from the heart. No telepath there. He just Was moved tremendously by what he saw at Ground Zero and what he saw, not just the horrible loss to Rebel. But the spirit, you heard the people in the background cheering, the spirit of the firefighters, the construction workers, the hard hats. people from every walk of life who just said We're gonna stand up to this and we're gonna get through it.
And the president provided tremendous leadership that day. For months thereafter, and I was proud to work with them. It just uh Makes me proud of how we responded, but still on a day like this, you know, you feel the sense of loss that. Brian, that's never going to go away. I know, but you did a fantastic job through that time.
You never wanted the spotlight, but the people behind the scenes would always say what a great job you did under pressure, always giving praise to other people, which is a sign, in my humble opinion, of a great leader.
So I know, I don't know how often you ran into Charlie Kirk, but as a Republican, you must have appreciated how he mobilized the next generation to become Republicans, conservatives. You know, Brian, as an American. I was inspired by Charlie Kirk, not just as a Republican. This was a young man who tested the spirit of the nation. And he was fighting for our freedom in the way that it should be fought for through words and and logic and arguments and What he did going on to campusism Explaining and defending American freedom is something that we have to continue.
I cannot tell you how distraught I am. about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He represented the best of our future in fighting to protect those freedoms. And And now an assassin's taken him from us. And Byron, Brian, I'm sorry.
On this day, You know, I think back of how we were attacked by people from overseas trying to take our freedom. We're being attacked now from people in America trying to take our field. The students who shut down universities, who don't let people speak, who try to disrupt. Our ability to practice our religion. You know, we're under attack domestically, and Charlie Kirk understood that.
and defended it the best way possible. And we all have an obligation. to stand up and defend those freedoms every single day. No, I hear you. And when it comes to the assassin, I want to find out before I can even process what happened, I want to find out who did it.
I mean, wa was this pure politics? Was this a a guy that was upset about a certain issue? Did it have anything to do with the question about trans that was really building off the the trans shooter from a couple of weeks ago? I mean, how important is it to find out who did this? Because we know almost nothing about Butler, and the other guy seems like a real nutcase who tried to kill him on the on the uh kill the President Trump on the golf course.
Yeah, we don't we don't know who did this, but we do know uh very simply that one of the best and most effective defenders of our freedom with young people. Was taken from us. And I think that's what matters. And what matters is we have to enforce the laws. We have to have prosecutors and judges to hold people accountable.
like the horrible case in Charlotte, North Carolina. We had these left-wing judges, left-wing governors. who let people we know are violent criminals out on the streets. And they take our freedom from us. We have to have elected officials and leaders who.
Uphold every law and in every way possible. If somebody violates our rights, our American rights under the Constitution to Freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, freedom to choose our leaders. We have to go after that. And we've looked the other way too long. With Charlie Kirk having been killed, we can't look the other way anymore.
So lastly, just a political question. When 9-11 happened, you had a Republican governor, Republican mayor. What happened to New York? You know, I think sometimes people Uh take success for granted. We were the most dangerous state in America.
And By that time, we were the safest big state in America. And the same with New York City. And so all of a sudden people take for granted that we're going to be safe, that crime isn't going to be an issue. And then you elect the wrong people. And they go back to the policies that have failed us, and crime goes back up, and people are surprised.
You know what what happened in Albany. with the no-bail law, the raise the age law, turning loose mentally ill. uh violent people. That didn't have to happen. It didn't happen during my 12 years, but it happened right after.
We just need the right leaders who understand that when you have policies that fail, It's not the politicians, it's the people who suffer. But so many Republicans left the state because they felt their their voice was being squelched by left wingers who thought criminal thought criminal first and you can choplift and it's the white man's fault.
So how do you get the Republican Party going again when there are less Republicans?
Well, you gotta do both. You have to reorganize the Republican Party and I know efforts have been made to do that, inspire people, but you also have to appeal to Democrats. Democrats don't want to be afraid to send their kid to school or go into a park. They don't want to have to buy. toothpaste by getting someone to unlock it.
They're also separate. every bit as much.
So you need to appeal across party lines. The common sense policies that will make New York a safer, cleaner, more affordable, better place. I think there are candidates out there trying to do it. Don't elect more of the same or you're going to get more of the same. And I'm an optimist fine.
I think Republicans have a real shot. uh to win the governor's race next year. And if we do, I think we'll have the right policies to straighten things out. Absolutely, Governor George Pataki. Thanks so much.
Appreciate it. Thank you, Brian. 24 years since the 9-11 attacks. The former governor of New York joined us. We'll be back in a moment.
I'll be taking Creole calls, whatever your reflection is on the 31 years of Charlie Kirk's life or the 24 years since the 9-11 attacks. The manhunt is on. They are making progress. We'll bring you the latest. Don't move.
Patriot Day We reflect, remembering the victims and honoring the heroes. September 11th, we will never forget. This is the Brian Kill Meet Show. Radio that makes you think. This is the Brian Kill Me Show.
Suspect blended in well with the college. institution. We're not releasing any details right now. We will sue. But right now we're not.
But that that individual appears to be of college age. We are confident in our abilities to track that individual. If we're unsuccessful in identifying, them immediately, we will reach out for the public's help and the media's help in pushing those those photos. That was a new development overnight working through the night studying those cameras.
So that's that's something that's new and that we're working through right now.
So, you know how many cameras they had to look through at the university of 45,000 people? A lot. And that was the FBI press conference that took place 90 minutes ago. They said they. Uh they didn't say they had a name, but they had the face.
Uh they had the gun. They found it in a wooded area. They said the shooting, no doubt, was targeted. Kind of goes without saying, but they do believe the community is not at risk, which comes up with Stuart Kaplan had to say, and he's going to be joining us. 25 minutes.
He's going to be joining us shortly. And he said. They had a way to go. They had a way to get out, which was significant. And the the gunman said he could have at least caused havoc.
He shot one time, got his target and left. If he was really just rage-filled, the way Wood Profile is, he would just shoot everybody in the audience, try to kill as many people as possible. After all, most of them were Kirk supporters. If you don't like Kirk, you probably don't like the people following him.
So that's was kind of revealing. Shows with people do this for a living. Fled into the neighborhood. Gunman found in a wooded area. The gun was found in a wooded area.
The other question I'm getting from a lot of you is: where's the bullet? It's a great question. Does the bullet tell a story? Is there an address on that bullet? And that's what we'll be discussing as we try to find the impact.
President of the United States went to Tooth Social, and then he, of course. Talked last night. And he talked last night in a From the Oval Office. I was shocked. I was at CNN.
My goal is to watch as much as possible.
So. I was flipping around. I was amazed at how on point CNN was. The respectfulness, you know, people would just ask a question, but it'd be tongue-in-cheek and smug. I thought Jake Tapper.
Caitlin Collins. Anderson Cooper. Total prose. Really act like they're concerned about the guy, respected the guy, they're great actors.
Some people weren't. I'll give you an example. How about Katie Turr of MSNBC? Listen to this, Cut thirty seven. People are really upset.
and they start lashing out online and they start blaming others. For what led up to this. I mean, we see it when Democrats are targeted, we see it when Republicans are targeted, and we're seeing it with this. Anna Paulina Luna, who's a representative from Florida, has put this out on X. She's blaming the Democrats.
She's blaming the rhetoric the Democrats use, calling Republicans fascist. She's saying, you are the hate. If you're in the FBI field office and you see this sort of stuff bubbling up online, how worried do you get? about um somebody taking up The cause of Charlie Kirk. And and and lashing out on on somebody who's seen as a Democrat or somebody who is a Democrat.
Use uh more, cut thirty-eight. After one of the Doge employees was allegedly attacked in Washington, DC, that's what Donald Trump used as a justification to send in. Federal troops into Washington, D.C. to get things under control. The carjacking situation, he used that.
And I know it's hard to predict the future, Mark, but you can imagine the administration using this as a justification for something.
So That's interesting speculation on MSNBC. Hardly people saying a heart goes out to the 31-year-old who just left two small children behind, who made an impact turning on America's youth to another school of thought. And it wasn't the 1619 project. It was just the opposite. By the way, the President did not use the assault on the Doge employee.
Means we've planned on doing it anyway. I asked Samat directly on this very show. She should do her research. Listen, the Brian Kilmey show. Coming up next, Center, Shellingmore Capital, West Virginia.
Killmore. Breaking news, unique opinions. Hear it all on the Brian Kill Me Show. Hey, we are back, and we're following two big stories 24 years as ceremonies continue in downtown New York and at the Pentagon. The president just spoke and now is on the inside.
Pete Hagseth, Secretary of War, also spoke, but we're tracking the Trying to find the manhunt is on to find the assassin who killed Charlie Kirk yesterday at 12:15 in the 12:20 in the afternoon local time. With me right now is Senator. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia. Senator, we want to talk about funding the government, and that's important, but first off, about safety and what's been going on here. We know about the President's assassination attempt.
We know what happened in Minnesota with that lunatic for trying to kill those Minnesota officials. We see the school shooting also. And then we see what happened yesterday. Your thoughts about what's going on in this society.
Well, I mean, it's just horrifying to think that the solution to the To a disagreement is to end somebody's life, a young man who has a young wife and two young children. or a public official who's trying to do the right thing and serve their state and country. I just think it's a sad day for us. It's interesting that it's nine eleven, which is always a sad day for us as we remember that horrible tragedy in two thousand and one, but Uh I I just think that uh the the rhetoric, the um uh the the encouragement to do something, some things like this from some people is just horrifying. And I we got to turn the temperature down.
We say that every time, and then something else happens. And so I I hope that you know, Charlie Kirks. Horrifying execution, and I'll call it that. It was obviously. a well-trained person who knew how to shoot from that far away.
and executed it uh with one shot, it's just awful. It's just awful. Yeah, and I guess on Capitol Hill, you're trying to get business done as usual. And number one, fund the government. Number two, you've got over 100 nominees who are just stuck because Democrats want to punish Donald Trump.
There's no even controversial nominees there. People like Michael Waltz, just waiting for a chance to celebrate 80 years of the UN, UN ambassador. What have you guys decided to do?
Well, you know, we're going to move forward. We're going to make these votes today to basically set up. To go back to the system that it used to be. It used to be that the leaders would get together and they would do tranche of. of appointees on some of these into offices or ambassadorships to Switzerland and things like this that are not highly controversial at all.
They've already been through committee, so they've been vetted through committee. And I think that it's very Disappointing that Chuck Schumer has decided to give Donald Trump zero nominees in this way, whereas President Biden had 535. And so they claim they need time to debate. They take two minutes out of the two hours to debate.
So that's a joke. And it's just obstructionism. And honestly, it's Trump derangement syndrome, in my opinion. They just don't want to give the President anything. And so they're doing everything.
So what exactly are you doing? What we will do is change the rules to say, okay, we can vote I think it's 48 nominees that are bipartisan into a package. and not have to vote them individually. And that should we should be able to by doing this, changing the rules and doing this, we should be able to clear the backlog by the 15th of October. Yeah, otherwise we'd be sitting in our seats for three years.
Trying to get nominees all the way through to the end. And you know what? It used to be done this way. There was professional courtesy. And civility and comedy, but it just doesn't exist anymore for Chuck Schumer and his crowd, and it's very disappointing.
Well, I mean, so are you going to try to get Michael Waltz confirmed before the UN leaves? I think, well, I don't know. He is not in the first tranche of votes, but he is bipartisan. And at least I don't think I saw him in the list. I could be mistaken there.
But there will be another list coming right behind this one, and hopefully he'll be in that one.
So how are you going to fund the government? Chuck Schumer says I don't like the proposal you guys gave him.
Well, no, he doesn't like anything. Let's just put that on the record. You know, except for the he likes the idea when he has it. When it's the same idea and Donald Trump has it, all of a sudden it's not a good idea. Like breaking the filibuster is good when you're under Biden, but it's not good when you're under Trump.
So his credibility is shot.
So I think at the end of the month, we've got to fund the government. We'll probably go into a continuing resolution, a short term one, maybe until November. Keep it as clean as possible, not load it up. Chuck Schumer wants to load it up with billions and billions of dollars of spending because they can't spend enough. And so I don't think we're going to do that.
I don't think that's in our best interest. But hopefully, we can get three appropriations bills in there, which would show bipartisan support and an ability to fund at least partially the government on time. And I guess, but there's old pressure on Schumer to not do what he did last time, and that is realize he had no leverage. And I thought he did the right thing. He said, I have no leverage.
I got to fight another day. I'm in the minority. And he almost lost his job.
So now we're now we're just gonna hold out to hold out.
Well, you know, he's going to get the blame for another Schumer shutdown if that's the direction that he wants to go. And, you know, it didn't work for him before. You get people calling in veterans and Social Security recipients and people in housing all across the, you know, the Park Service. You could go on and on. Are you really going to shut the government down just to hold on to your job?
and listen to your left. I mean, come on, we have to fund the government. We have to do it bipartisan, and this is what it takes to be a leader, Chuck.
So just do it.
So there's a couple of things that I hear might be on your agenda. More rescissions. I know it was so painful to get the $9 billion. Do you think they're going to put more rescissions up there to take back money that's been allocated from the previous administration? You know, right now I think that's what they're trying to do.
A lot the next rescission, I think, is money that came actually from 2024 funding, so not last year, but the year before. And I think that will probably go forward. It's kind of bad timing on it right now. Honestly, Brian, if we're trying to get a continuing resolution, we're trying to do appropriations bills. And I think that we should that's why I think it's important that we maybe hold the I think hold the rescions until we can settle some of this down.
I don't think we'll have anything more in the next several weeks. as we try to do this continuing resolution. But I do think the President you know, should look at some of these and rescind this funding of just frivolous spending and overspending. We're in a situation where we really should be scrutinizing this much, much, much closer. Yes, we just had last question.
We just had Tom Swasey on earlier. Of course, and when you think West Virginia, you think Joe Manchin, he bucked his party a lot or else things would be dramatically different, and we might have two more states and who knows. But Do you think that there might be any sense of working together on anything with people risking re-election or? Ideologues, pressuring people. Do you think there might be any break since Charlie Kirk's hit?
You know, here's the one thing that I'm working on specifically. I do think some of the international thing, like the Russian sanctions, we have eighty-five people on that.
So that can be a bipartisan exercise. But I would tell you that for me, I'm working on permitting reform because this cuts across Republican, Democrat. Projects, it can be it can be nuclear, it can be wind, it can be a highway, it can be broadband. I mean, we're just so stuck in this regulatory morass that I think Republicans and Democrats. together realize That there's a better way to do to permit projects to grow America.
So that's what I'm hanging my hat on in the next several months. All right, Senator Capito, thanks so much. Appreciate it. Yeah. Thanks.
All right, when we come back, what we now know since the FBI investigation, that we just had a press conference, we know a lot more, and I'm very hopeful we're going to get this gunman who killed Charlie Kirk. I'll tell you why when we come back. Newsmakers and newsbreakers, here at first on the Brian Kill Meet Show. I'm Janistine. Join me every Sunday as I focus on stories of hope and people who are truly rays of sunshine in their community and across the world.
Listen and follow now at Foxnewspodcast.com. The fastest three hours in radio. You're with Brian Kilmead. Suspect blended in well with with the college. Institution.
We're not releasing any details right now. And we we will soon. But right now we're not. But that that individual appears to be of college age. We are confident in our abilities to track that individual.

So that's that's something that's new and that we're working through right now.
So, the press conference took place about an hour ago, led by the FBI. Homeland security, and we do know some facts. It was a high-powered, high-powered. Bolt action rifle. They found it in a wooded area.
They also found footwear footprints there. They have pictures. They don't want to give it to the public yet. They said you just heard a college-age person. What else can they tell you, or what else did was released He liked to leave, he left by blending in.
with the college crowd. Joining us now, man, with fascinating insight in this investigation before we really knew anything. And now, with this new information, can't wait to hear what Stuart Kaplan has to say from his years in the FBI. Stuart, welcome. Great to talk to you again.
Just gave you some information. You probably watched the press conference, too. What are your thoughts? Hmm. I guess we're having trouble.
Uh we're having trouble getting through on that. All right. We also know they have images of the suspect. They are not sure how far the gunman has gone, and you heard what he said at the end. Got 130 tips.
But right now it doesn't work for us to put his picture out. But eventually it would work to get his picture out.
So that would certainly help. As we try to get Stewart Kaplan up, let me give you an idea of what he said earlier to kind of set the table for the segment. Here's what he's talking about. Um when he was talking about he said If you take a look at the video, you could take a look at the venue and the spectators and how close they were to Charlie Kirk. He said when everyone's looking one direction and they literally are feet away from him, No one is looking back, but yet the buildings are set back two hundred yards away.
So you could get set and no one is I guess intentionally looking your direction. In theory, Charlie has his security team. That's looking out. But they don't have power to secure the actual venue, they don't have jurisdiction over the school. They have six cops per 3,000 people.
That decision is going to be heavily scrutinized. There's no doubt about it.
So here is uh Stuart Kaplan. Stuart, we know a lot more information from what we smoked this morning. What do you think? Yeah, good good morning again, Brian. Look, uh In fairness to you and your co-anchors, you know, part of my response this morning was somewhat measured.
The FBI. very quickly after this horrific event, yes, they had a lot of information. They have a lot of information. Brian, your viewers have to understand this is an act of domestic terrorism. It falls squarely within the national security arena.
FBI has assets, assets, and resources that normally would not be deployed in just a criminal investigation. With those assets Are so effective. In being able to pinpoint with a reasonable degree of certainty to locate and apprehend individuals, it is nearly impossible to walk this planet when those assets are deployed.
So The FBI has a lot of information. They're kind of keeping it somewhat close to the village. Let's talk about what they told us. How do you feel about the high-powered bolt-action rifle found in a wooded area? And they said they collected footprints from his footwear, they think.
So, number one, they said they were looking through the images throughout the night. You told us about all the cameras they had, and they think they have an image of the guy. Does it surprise you they have not released that image? Why does it work to their advantage not to?
Well, because quite frankly, they're working behind the scenes on perhaps affidavits in support of executions of search warrants. Arrest warrants, and so also. This is a very dangerous type of apprehension because we know this individual has proven himself. For a propensity of killing someone. And so the threat to law enforcement is even that greater with respect to the risk.
Of going and knocking on a door because they may be met with gunfire.
So they're being very cautious. Brian, you have to also understand. Hopefully. this individual will be brought to justice. That means that this case, the evidence that has been collected will be introduced into a court of law.
And so the FBI has to slow or throttle back this accelerated pace to make sure there are no mistakes in either the collection or processing of this evidence because they don't want this case to fall afoul if it is Ultimately, going to be tried. Stuart, I understand that, but Dale, educate me on this. Speed matters. They don't know where this guy is. It's a wooded area, a mountainous area.
So he did have a plan to get out. They said they know the stairwell that he got up, it seems.
So he does have a plan to get out.
So you want speed, but you want efficiency. Is there a speed team and is there an evidence team?
So, we have several teams. We have evidence response teams. We have evidence response teams that are deployed directly from headquarters, and we have. Evidence response teams that are in various field offices spread out across the United States. We also have the most elite.
Which would be the closest thing. In comparison to the Navy SEALs, and that's the hostage rescue team that operates at aquantico. I am not going to comment on whether or not they have been deployed. But I would say that That if there was a textbook reason to deploy the HRT, this is a textbook classic case. Oh, perhaps there.
Being used to locate and apprehend this individual.
Well, how could a hostage team benefit you, being that you're looking for a gunman? Because the HRT team is the most elite law enforcement entity domestically here in the United States, they do comprise many former Navy SEALs and Special Force. Men and women. And so, given the serious nature of the threat. Given the assets and resources that the HRT operates with.
it certainly would be reasonable. to utilize them here. Stuart, we look back now and we looked at Butler and we couldn't believe how the Secret Service was not prepared, overwhelmed, no coordination. Right now, if I said, Stuart Caplan, I need you to do a report on what went wrong, In uh in Colorado, in Utah. I mean, number one, six cops, three thousand people.
I mean Wh why would that be a why would anyone ever sign off on that?
Well, look, you know, Brian, in fairness to Trolley Kirk's team. theme. If he had come to me, I would have done a threat assessment. Obviously, I would want to know what the venue is where he is performing. But again, he's a public figure.
Public figures are out there every day. And so we have to be realistic and reasonable. And quite frankly, and I know people don't want to understand this, there's a cost factor. This is a private citizen who has to fund his own cost of protection.
Now, let me just be clear: he had his own security detail. that then went out and hired off duty. Police officers that are local to that municipality. And then you had the university security. In the threat assessment, Of Charlie Kirk's appearance in public venues.
I don't think until yesterday it should have been contemplated that we need to consider a rooftop that is perhaps more than five or six hundred feet away. My immediate concern would have been for the wingspan of Charlie Kirk, meaning he's on stage. Can someone get immediate access to him to You know, bum rush the stage, charge the stage, put their hands on him, stab him, or pull out a small caliber handgun. Those are the threats that would have been contemplated.
Now, The game is completely different. And at the end of the day, Brian, who's going to fund the cost for a private citizen? Who's not a public figure who's on the government payroll? Who's gonna pay for this type of thing? I mean, you can think the school, they got 45,000 students, you know, they have a budget to bring guys like that in.
Now they're gonna have to figure out his security and what he would need. Stuart Kaplan, thanks so much for your insight. Hopefully, the next time we talk, we'll be talking about the suspect being captured. Bank on which one. This is Jason Chaffetz from the Jason in the House podcast.

It's Brian Kilmead. Hi everyone, welcome to the latest minutes of the Brian Kill Me Show. I come to you from 48th and 6th in Midtown Manhattan, around the hurdle around the country, around the world, and of course the world is focused on 24 years ago, today, the 9-11 attacks, still trying to get our head around. How that all took place, and it's been, I just am in awe that we still do such a great job. Reading all the names and remembering with all the pictures, family members, survivors, people that have not met those who had lost their lives that day suddenly.
And we still did that and it went through.
Next year will be even bigger because it'll be the 25-year mark and it'll be the 250th mark of something to celebrate of our country. This hour. We had a busy hour. We're also joined in studio with Frank Bissignano. He's a Social Security Commissioner, but more importantly, he was an administrative officer at Citigroup.
He's worked at various places right at Lower Manhattan, working to restore global banking systems and everything, help stand everything up after the 9-11 attacks. And then Donald Trump just picked him up and said, I need you to help me with Social Security.
So, Frank, welcome. What are your thoughts about being here today? And do you remember 24 years ago? I had the same drive in that I had 24 years ago this morning. It was the same type of day, a beautiful day.
It was a Tuesday, as I best remember. I was headed into a staff meeting. Uh when uh The first plane hit, uh My office stared at the towers. Seven World Trade Center was one building. I was working for Citigroup.
I was the chief administrative officer and the head of deputy head of. operations and technology reporting to Bob Druskin, Sandy Weill. And uh I saw a big hole in the building. Uh and then I saw our next plane hit. And I conclude, we had a plan for if the towers went down and we executed the plan, Seven World Trade Center was outbuilding and people were telling Tom Jones, who ran Asset Management, to stay in the building.
And I was like, Tom, I'm staring at nothing. You gotta get out.
So we vacated that. Marched up to Thirty-Fourth Street where a recovery center was.
Some people, we had a trading desk set up in Rutherford, New Jersey. And began the journey.
So life-changing. I saw everything you can imagine. And 10 years later, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. Um, and you know, do you smoke a lot? No, I don't smoke at all.
Do you drink, uh, well, I have a little wine. Where are we at 9-11? Uh I was a lowerman hand and never left.
So how did you deal with that? Uh you know, um I had I had three I had three Three kids, one which was six months old. Uh and so uh I uh I I got dressed and went to work every day to fake everybody out in my house while I got radiation and chemotherapy 'cause you you know didn't tell your family? Uh no, they knew, but I said this is a hundred percent curable, which it is, but not a hundred percent I'm gonna get cured. as you all know.
So I'd go in every morning, get radiation, go to the office. Uh I reported to Jamie Diamond at the time. And every once in a while go get chemotherapy. Right.
So you're still monitoring that data. Five years later, I mean, you go through five years. You're supposed to be free after five years.
So I'm going to behave like I am fifteen years ago. Were they willing to diagnose it as nine eleven related back then? Yeah. They said it they said it immediately when when I said first two things. They were like, Where are we on nine eleven?
It wasn't where I was on nine eleven, I never left. I never left. We had to get the stock exchange up and running. And so we came back down there and we were a different type of first responders. We were technologists, you know, building Lower Manhattan back together.
Yeah, I wanna I was actually on the air. uh that day with Fox and friends. And here's how it sounded when the planes hit the building. And we always play the whole TikTok of all the attacks and the collapse of the buildings all the way through one day a year. Cut seventeen.
We have a very tragic alert for you right now. An incredible plane crash into the World Trade Center here at the lower tip of Manhattan. It's speculated that the plane is as big as a 737. It looked originally like it just hit three floors. As I see from this angle, it seems like more than three floors.
And perhaps what's most disturbing, Edie, I think, is the time of day. This time of morning is when people pour into that building, and it's usually next to full. And right away you do know that it was a clear day, so it's hard to imagine pilot error, right? Yeah, a hundred percent. A hundred percent.
It was a big hole in a big building and Then another plane comes flying into it. Right.
How many friends do you think or acquaintances did you lose that day? I lost a lot. I lost a lot. I mean, I was very focused on two things. You know, we had sixteen thousand people in Lower Manhattan again, I'm out.
Um, we lost six. Uh but we also had we were the largest financial institution in the world and we had to keep the economy going. Right.
And I had responsibility also, you know, for the whole recovery and to make sure we could get all the money in and get all the money out. And so I'm blessed that I'm here to talk about it. That day, I thought I wouldn't be able to put my head on the pillow for the things I saw. But I think 'cause I was so engrossed in the recovery and to keep the economy going, that I was able to block a lot of things out. What do you just left the ceremony?
Yeah, I just left downtown. What was it like? Uh this was a uh uh a very very uh obviously uh everybody's affected. But what happened to a great man, Charlie Kirk.
So it's a kind of interesting moment this morning. Um, because there's devastation for many around that, and um. It was very, very well done. You know, you have grandchildren now reading. When I went to the first time it, when there was no memorial, but we still had the reading of the names.
In the first anniversary. You know, you didn't have children and grandchildren reading. You know, we had seven and eight-year-olds reading and. It's very, very moving. I think it's always done so well and tastefully.
And I thought to myself today. I hope this goes on forever. Like, there's no reason that it doesn't go on forever. And yes, it may be a great-grandchild at some point. Right.
So people remember. Yes. Yes. Never forget. Absolutely.
um back on that day and all of us remember it so well together. Um Here is George W. Bush. Here he is famously on top of a fire truck, Cut 26. I can hear you.
The rest of the world hears you, and the people And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.
So, I mean, that day, that was a few days after. That was late Friday afternoon. But you guys had a pre-existing plan because the 93 bombing said stay. Or go. And then it was supposed to be the opposite.
And evidently, they wanted people to get out as quick as possible in 93 with the bombing, as opposed to this. Yeah. So you guys had to change it and you worked on that prior to this? Yeah, I mean we had I'd I'd sit around a table with the team from all disciplines and say, if the tower's ever going down, I don't want to be sitting around arguing, we're going to have a plan. And we executed the plan.
We built out a recovery site in New Jersey where our developers were for our traders to be able to operate. Um, so I think we executed the plan well, but you know, um By the good grace of God. By the good grace of God. The job you guys did at the memorial is unbelievable, the nine-eleven memorial. What was the approach there?
I mean, we I've never seen anything like that. And and w w or what are you proudest of about it?
Well, I mean, you gotta you gotta give Mike Bloomberg, Mayor Bloomberg, you know, that was there right next to him today, so much credit because without him It went. I mean, you had a huge role in that, right? Uh yeah.
Well, we all did, but you know, it's a team. And then, you know, we went on to build a performing arts center down there, too. I mean, you know, if you come to New York, you don't realize what was there because what is there today?
So it's a beautiful place to walk around. It's park-like, and it has all the history. People to go and for generations to come to understand what happened on that tragic day.
So, you'd mentioned about Charlie Kirk and what happened. Did you have interactions with him? I did not. This is the closest to politics you've gotten. I did not, but you know, I could tell you that I have a 16-year-old son who goes to a grade school in New Jersey, Dilborden, and they were all devastated.
The youth. Of America, I think, was really touched by Charlie. Not to say my wife isn't very touched and out family wasn't. But I think his reach was so large. You know, you know, I mean, I don't know you could relate it to Martin Luther King, I think.
You know, I mean, It's just it's just uh an amazing leader who was out there for people, who was balanced. It's it's devastating. I think it's devastating to America. Does it make you worry about the direction of the politics in America? Yes.
Yes. I mean, it makes me worry about a million things. Uh you know, it was it was only a little over a year ago Our present We're shot at. Right, so you can't ignore these things happening. And uh, you know, vigilance matters a lot, but you know, There's no stopping somebody two hundred feet away or two hundred yards away Who's a sharpshooter?
Lastly, coming up, we have a year to talk about it, Frank, but next year, are there any special things planned? Are they leaving?
Well, I said to the team today as we're walking in and obviously I was next to Beth Hillman, who's the President. And uh it'd been started two years ago, the planning for the twenty-fifth.
So, I think it will be a fabulous celebration, a lot of work to do between here and there. But I think it'll be an amazing moment. For the country. You know, uh I had the opportunity to be at the Pentagon. today uh given my job But I've never not been down at the site ever since year one, and I thought to myself, I'm sure it's going to be a tremendous celebration at the Pentagon, but I don't know that I could ever see myself not in Lower Manhattan.
I understand.
So it'll be 25 years coming up, and think about New York, too. Between what's going to be happening at the UN next week, where the leader of Syria was once a member of Al-Qaeda and he's going to be coming here now. You have a Muslim mayor who's in the frontrunner now. And you have the World Financial Center every single day. It is an interesting time to be in New York, and the President of the United States is going to be at the Yankee Stadium tonight.
I know. So it's crazy. It's a national show, but it's hard not to see. A relief pitch. And then they will have to work tonight.
A relief pitch. It would be nice for a change. It would be nice for a change. The last two nights and two, two games, and it just gets blown up. And that's what they did at the trading deadline.
They bolstered up their bullpen, but it's blown up. Hey, Frank, thanks so much. It's great. It's been great to get to know you. Frank Pisciano, the Social Security Commissioner, but is so much more.
He's taken all his great financial knowledge and is trying to straighten out our Social Security system. That's cold service. Don't move. Still honoring the victims and heroes of Nine Eleven, we will never forget. This is the Brian Kill Mead Show.

All we can do is stare aghast at these pictures at this point. You are looking at the north building of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in Manhattan. These are coming to you live now. Debris raining down from a hundred and ten floors up. As you can see, This is a clear blue sky day in Manhattan.
If this was an accident, It would be a needle in a haystack kind of accident. There was another one. We just saw. We just saw another one. We just saw another one apparently go Another plane just flew.
Into the second tower. This raises This has to be deliberate, folks.
So that is John Scott Cohen at Live on the Air after Fox and Friends left back in 2001. And his call was fantastic. It's basically should be played at every broadcasting school in the country. How to act when you watch a developing story in real time, solo anchor, being able to comment. instinctively, knowledgeably.
while not saying too much that might you might have to retract later. To the best of your ability, keep the expletives and emotion out of it to the best of your ability. Just going the sights and sounds 24 years ago, I played a little bit earlier. I was on the air, and Fox and Friends played that cut. You just heard John Scott, who followed us.
I want you to hear the air traffic controllers reacting to the second plane hitting the building and the witnesses, the witnesses' second plane heading towards the towers. Listen, cut 19. Hey, can you look out your window right now? Can you see a guy at about 4,000 feet about five east of Europa right now? Looks like he's.
Yeah, I Sam. You still got look is he descending for the burglar? He's descending really quick too, yeah.
Well, that's 500 feet now. He just top 800 feet in like one sweep. That's another situation. What kind of airplane is that? Can you guys tell?
I don't know. I'll read it out in a minute. Another one just hit the building. Wow, no way. No one said the word.
Yeah. All building just uh came apart totally. Smokes. Wow, so you heard from the air traffic controllers, he's watching on the radar. He's looking, can you look out the window?
That is just incredible. And some of the media reaction, cut20. We're in overhead. And then all of a sudden that s I thought it sounded kind of loud um louder that I looked up and all of a sudden smashed right dead into the center of the World Trade Center. One of our producers said perhaps A second plane was involved, and let's not even speculate to that point.
Not appear that there's any kind of an effort up there yet.
Now, remember, oh my god. That looks like a second plane. I didn't get to see a plane go in. That just exploded. We just saw another plane coming in from the side.
So you have no idea right now. Other than another one. Another plane just hit. Right.
Oh my gosh. Another plane has just hit. It hit another building. Flew right into the middle of it. Explosion.
Right guys, it's right in the middle of the building. Wow. That is the real play by play of what went on in real time. That was Charles Gibson, former of D WABC anchor, Good Morning America. They extended his time on the air when they realized this was a huge tragedy.
So pretty pretty Crazy stuff. And it brings you back to those moments. If you weren't around back then, that's how it sounded. People trying to figure out what was happening. Here's some more of the traffic of going back and forth.
Let's listen. Cut 21. From my location now, I see heavy smoke coming from the building of the World Train Center. Also, need Baron, send me just about everything that you've got. Conditions to one, he's sending all of my units to the Ferrazontal Bridge.
I don't know what's going on. What's going on, please? Let me get at least one or two units to respond to one stream at World Trade Center building. I have one patient at the time with 30 degrees burns to 90% of his body. City while the power just collapsed.
Put it citywide. Second goes down. Receive the priority message. Identify yourself. I have a fireman who was hearing the explosion light over here, severely injured.
Crazy, the intensity. And the firefighters went in, they set up a headquarters inside. Because in the 93 bombing, the buildings were stable. Uh, but the base wasn't, and this time up top, we would end up melting all the way down, so it got so much worse. But you know what?
People always point out to me that if it was an hour later, everyone would have been at their desks. The fact that it was before nine o'clock saved a lot of people. Howard Ludnick talks about how normally he's in at seven o'clock, but his wife walked up to him and says, You never drive the kids to school. Why don't you ever drive the kids to school? And he said, All right, you're right.
I never drive this kid to school, I'm coming in late that day.
So He um So he doesn't go uh He doesn't go into Canter Fitzgerald, the company he founded, but his brother did. and so are almost hundreds of his employees. They all lost their lives. Brain kill me, child. We come back to have more don't worry.

It's Brian Kilmeid. Suspect blended in well with the college. institution. And we're not releasing any details right now and we will soon. But right now we're not.
But that individual appears to be of college age. We are confident in our abilities to track that individual. If we're unsuccessful in identifying them immediately, we will reach out for the public's help and the media's help in pushing those photos. That was a new development overnight, working through the night studying those cameras.
So that's something that's new and that we're working through right now. Thank goodness, because I was thinking they were out of Leeds when they got two people, released them both, and said we got it wrong. I thought, oh my goodness, is time out? Because I looked at that open field, the mountain range, and Saw how competent this assassin seemed to have been. But now there's some good news from that press conference, I think.
We learned there was a high-powered bold action rifle. They found it in a wooded area. They collected footprints from the footwear he was wearing. They figured out the stairwells that he used. He meshed in with the rest of the college crowd, and they think he's of college age.
Prior to that, we think the description was jeans, black shirt, black vest, and they say a black mask. We see some stuff of a guy moving on the roof. I can't jump to conclusions, but logic says it's him. And why do you dress in black in a tan building?
Well, the roof is black. And you lay down. And it's 500 feet away. Mark Thieson, you've seen a lot of things in your time. You've covered a lot of things in your time.
We're looking at 9-11. You're with the Bush administration. I can imagine the things you're going through your mind right now. Yeah. So, you know, I was in the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
I felt the walls of my office shutter. I smelled the smoke in the hallways. I saw. the broken burning Pentagon with my own eyes. And the day before this commemoration, Charlie Kirk was exercising the right to free speech that the men and women in uniform who responded to the nine eleven attacks secured for him.
Um and he was honoring their sacrifice by exercising the freedoms. Uh that he that uh they they risked and in many cases gave their lives. to secure for him and for all of us. And I remember After 9-11, President Bush Said that our nation was attacked, and this is a direct quote from the followers of a hateful ideology that rejects tolerance. and crushes all dissent.
Well, Charlie Kirk. Was apparently murdered by the follower of a hateful ideology that rejects tolerance and crushes all dissent. The goal of 9-11 was to terrorize us.
Well, the goal of Charlie's killer was to terrorize us, to drive people like him off of our college campuses, out of the public debate, to frighten us and stop us from speaking out. And the best way that we can honor him. is to refuse to give in to terror. My big worry right now is that a lot of college campuses are going to respond to this by saying, Well, we can't have conservative speakers on anymore because we can't provide security. Yes, you can.
Harvard has a $52 billion endowment. Dip into it to pay for some security. We need more free speech, not less. We need more conservative speakers on campus, not less. We need more debate, not less.
The only way that Charlie's killer wins. is if The response to this is less free speech, fear, and intimidation. And I don't think that's what conservatives are going to do in response to what happened. College age male. Taking a shot at the first stop of his 15-stop tour since the election.
15-stops of the American Comeback Speaking Tour. And he was doing the prove me wrong. Stand face-off, where people get up and they say things that he disagrees with and they have an interesting debate. And it's all on Carrie. He's been doing this for years, it's fascinating.
But prior to him going there, there was a change.org petition, 900 signatures protesting his appearance. They wanted to stop it. The school says, absolutely not. We're going to do it.
So a school of 40,000 gets 3,500 show up. But listen, Mark, I don't want to start criticism, but I got to point out: if you got 3,000 people and you already know there's at least 1,000 that are protesting his appearance, and he tells you he's got to carry his own security, why would you think six cops can do this? I don't know. It it it makes no sense. And we'll we I'm sure we'll do the forensics into the event.
As we go forward. But I think what you point out is about Charlie League is really important. Which is that He he was a model of civil discourse in an era of disunity. He didn't just, there's a lot of people who like to just preach to the choir. Throw red meat to the base.
And what Charlie did was he went out and sought out people who disagreed with him. I mean, he went on Gavin Newsom's podcast. And I had a civil conversation with him. You know, he and he would go to campuses and see and tell the people, if you disagree with me, come to the front of the line. And he would engage them with love.
and respect. He didn't belittle people. He took a lot of incoming from people who didn't match his love with love of their own. And occasionally he'd slip into owning the lives. It's tempting, and I get it.
But he was a model of civil discourse and of engaging people who disagreed with you. He was a believing Christian. who follow Jesus' example of loving your enemies. And engaging. He said, I love everybody, including people who disagree with me.
And so I think it's, I know we're all really angry today about what was done to Charlie, and it's really jarring to. Yeah. look at, you know, if you just look at like Blue Sky and some of these other places, the hate The cheering, the celebrating of his death. There's a lot of people out there who don't just oppose us, they want us dead. And they celebrate Charlie's death.
And If we match their hatred with hatred, we're betraying his legacy. We need to match his love with our love. We need to double down on engaging people who disagree with us. with love, even if they don't reciprocate. Because that's the only way we'll ever bring this country together again and make the country great.
So, Bill Clinton weighed in. I'm saddened and angered by Charlie Kirk's murder. I hope he will go through the same sit. We go through some serious introspection, redouble our efforts to engage in debate. Hillary and I are keeping Erica and their two young children in their mind.
President Obama, we don't yet know what motivated the person and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be and say some nice things. President Biden, there's no place in our country for this. This must end now. You have the prime minister of Italy.
You have the prime minister of England. This guy was a world figure at 31 years old. Yeah. It's amazing. It's amazing what he built.
You know, he was in many ways sort of a Bill Buckley 2.0. Building a movement and and and engaging, you know, and he did he was very Buckleyesque in that way.
So, what Bill Buckley was famous for doing was he had a show firing on and he'd bring in people who violently disagreed with him and they would they would h hash it out, but he always was kind And compassionate to people who disagree with them, and even had friendships with people who disagree with them. And Charlotte was a lot like that. And I didn't know him personally very well. I've met him a few times, but I admired him. And I just think we all need to be more like Charlie Kirk, whether you're right or left or in between.
Just engaging the other side with love and with the power of our ideas, sticking true to our convictions. But also engaging in discourse with people who disagree with us. All right. I want to real get you on the record with this. I was talking to the cutter.
Foreign minister A spokesperson yesterday, and now we want the Qatar wants all Arabs to unite against Israel, says they're the outlaw nation, that Netanyahu kept messing up peace talks. I go, You just exposed yourself as not an honest broker or even a pretend mediator. We know exactly where you stand now. Who's the one with hostages? Who's the ones that aim civilians?
Who's the ones dropping flyers? And now they're trying to make that hit in Doha that seems to have ticked off the president. But it's worth a shot. These are the terrorists. They're keeping your guys hostage that killed over 2,000 700 days ago.
Where would Where was this? Outrageous. Win Iran. fired a ballistic missiles at Qatar and hit the Aludaid airbase. No, I'm sorry.
Were you calling for everybody to unite against Iran? Were you you know, n no, this is this is just this is look, Qatar is a Terrorist state. that plays pretends to be an honest broker. They fund Hamas, they go they they they the Hamas leaders are living in with they're enjoying their billions in ill gotten gains. In luxury mansions in Qatar.
They are the people behind Al Jazeera, which is the number one fomenter of Islamic radical hatred in the Middle East. uh they uh they uh they funnel money to terrorists They are not an honest broker. And this is, I 100% support. Uh, I think that's a good question. I wish they got all of them, and maybe they will the next time.
They have to. They have to. And I think something's going to happen by this time. Yeah, it's simple. And things will calm down in a few months.
Uh and they'll realize that the the the good guys won. And at tremendous cost, by the way, we just know people died in a bus bombing, right? We also know, real quick, that Russia feels bold enough after their meetings with China and Alaska to send drones into Poland. What are they up to? They are testing us.
They are basically saying we can do what the hell we want. Poland is next. They're also threatening Finland, by the way. Increasingly. They are challenging our manhood as a country.
And look, Donald Trump, I believe that Donald Trump is going to bring the hammer down on Putin because Donald Trump does what he says. That's the one thing that he's consistently done through his first term, through the start of his second term. When he says he's going to do something, he does it. What he has told me and what he said publicly is that if Ukraine accepts peace and Russia does not, I'm going to side with Ukraine. And so I'm going to, he has said we're going to arm them, we're going to crush the Russian economy, we're going to crush the oil and gas sales.
And so I think if it's I I think that he's absolutely right to give Putin every chance. to do this to do this peacefully and avoid that fate. But at some point, it becomes clear by Putin's actions, that his words and his words and his actions don't match and that you've got we've got to listen to his actions, not his words.
So what do you expect him to do? I expect I think that President Trump is going to increase weapons sales to Ukraine. The Ukrainians have offered to buy, not US aid, buy with European help $90 billion in US weapons. That's good for Ukraine. That's good for America because it strengthens our defense industrial base.
and creates jobs here and helps us build build up our industrial base to for the fight against China and other people. And I think he's going to crush the Russian economy, which is only being held up because of oil and gas sales. If we can end their oil and gas sales the way Trump ended Iran's oil and gas sales in the first term, Russia is going to be regret not having accepted Donald Trump's terms. Mark, yes, he just has to take action. I'm going to have him on the couch tomorrow.
I'll read him. I'll ask him. And I just want it I don't want those stories to be true in the Financial Times that we are slowing down air defense Uh The two To Ukraine, who's buying it, or NATO's buying and giving it to them. My goodness, deliver it.
Well, I think a lot of decisions are being made by certain people in the Pentagon that the President isn't being told about. And there's a certain person in the Pentagon who is freelancing a lot. His name is Bridge Colby. And he's look, this is, Bridge has. he shut up weapons to Ukraine and Trump had to turn him on again.
When Trump had that summit with the European leaders, he said, well, we're not going to be involved in the security guarantees and any significant extent sort of pouring gold water on that. He he just keeps getting ahead of Trump. In ways that Trump in directions Trump doesn't want to go. And I don't know how long the president should be able should be tolerating. I don't think he should tolerate it at all.
He's got to get the right people around him. He did. This should not be done. We all know China's a threat, but it's all related. I'm sure he's smart enough to figure that out.
Mark Thiessen, thank you so much. Appreciate it. Take care. Heavy day. Back in a moment.
Politics, current events, and news that affects you. Brian's got a lot more to say. Stay with Brian Kilmead. This is Jimmy Fala, inviting you to join me for Fox Across America, where we'll discuss every single one of the Democrats' dumb ideas. Just kidding, it's only a three-hour show.
Listen live at Noon Eastern or get the podcast at foxacrossamerica.com. Information you want, truth you demand. This is the Brian Kill Me Show. We don't know if this was a supporter shooting your gun off. In celebration, or so we have no idea about this.
But following up with what was just said, he's been one of the most divisive. especially divisive younger figures in this. Who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups? And I always go back to. Hateful thoughts.
lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. That was Matthew Dowd. He used to work for George Bush, got angry about the Iraq war, kind of became an independent, and now just an anti-Trumper to the point where he's like, Charlie Clark should have died. In the beginning, MSNBC says doesn't echo what we think, and they fired him a little bit later that day. I don't want to see anyone lose their job.
Sometimes you misspeak. That's not misspeaking. I mean, I could play you, it's about another three minutes, the same thing. When you print out this vile stuff, what's vile? Gets murder, pro-Bible, pro-conservative.
Aggressively pushing for the next generation to vote Republican? Guilty is charged. And it's not just because he got shot. I loved having him on. We saw him on Sunday night.
So I'll give you an example.
So I had him on A month ago, it was in the summer, probably let's say the first week in August. And my whole Opening monologue was mister President, you sealed the border.
Now, let's see what we can do to expedite the people we want to stay. And for those people who have been here 10, 15 years, who have sponsors, why don't we work out a way for them to stay? They don't ever get citizenship, but they get honest salaries. These bosses can't abuse them anymore. They'll get insurance if they deserve it.
But we're not rewarding them with citizenship. But they came here under three or four previous administrations back. And you're not killing the meat packers, you're not killing the farmers, hospitality workers. And I said, listen, you're my first guest, and I'm looking at your stuff. You don't agree with this.
And I just want to tell you. I want you to disagree. I want to debate it, but don't feel like it's my show and you shouldn't. He goes, You didn't have to call me. I absolutely see your point of view, but I disagree with you.
And we ended up going on different points of view on that. But he likes it. I actually think he's almost disappointed when he goes on a show, and everyone agrees with him. I think he likes when he went out and just said, you know, what's going on, but when he has a debate and people basically agree with what he's saying. But here's Spencer Cox, a good friend of his.
He knew Charlie was there. He made sure it went well, and it didn't. But here he is yesterday at a press conference, cut three. If anyone in the sound of my voice. celebrated even a little bit.
at the news of this shooting. I would beg you. to look in the mirror.
So I don't care what his politics are. I cared that he was an American. And that is the governor of Utah. Uh it looks like They've uh tweeted out The picture. of the would-be assailant.
I guess there you go. That's the half picture. It's now up. I'm seeing it on some other channels. You can't see the face, but it looks like somebody.
Twenty-eight 30. Wearing a hat, a black shirt. Walking through. A little frustrating because I did hear, they did say, listen, if we can't get him on our own, we'll put this out to the public. And it looks like they can't get him on their own.
So putting it out to the public. If you know this guy, grab this guy.
So he looks to be college age or just out of college age, wearing sunglasses, black shirt, American flag with something on it, walking through with blue jeans. Remember how he was described? Black shirt, blue jeans, vest. and mask The question is, did they find the mask 'cause they found the gun? Yeah, they're they're calling it tall and lanky.
No, I'm just saying my he looks tall and lanky, a skinny guy.
So he's not some like built up muscular guy. He's definitely on the thin side.
Okay. We don't know if we got a full headshot, but you do see a full body shot and walking up the stairs. Remember, they figured out the stairwell he took, they figured out the roof he was on, they got the gun, so I think I would hope it's just a matter of time before they get him.
So, crazy stuff. That's the whole thing. I thought, and I'm not saying we're there yet. But I was thinking that if they really have no footage, and there really was no security, and the mountains are really that dense, And the woods are that dense, I should say, and mountains that hard to scale. Could it be we never know?
Like the I remember the bombing in 96 during the Olympic bombing. How long did it take to get that guy?
Well it looks like We know who the guy is. Brian Kilmachi. He'll be in the five a little bit later. You'll see me in person September 27th at Richmond, Virginia.
