This show proudly sponsored by Real American Freestyle Wrestling. Hi everyone, I'm Brian Kilmead. If you want something fun and easy to search for homes and apartments, then you should be using the Redfin app. Whether I'm searching for my next place, if I want to buy, if I want to rent, or if I just want to scroll through and see some dream homes, like for example, something on the beach or at least a walk to the beach, a big house, second, maybe a third floor, I use the Redfin app. Redfin makes it fun to search all the homes for sale and apartments for rent in your neighborhood.

You can filter for price, for beds, for baths, square footage, and so much more.

So if you find a place you love, Redfin makes it easy to go see it in person. Just schedule a tour right from the app. Plus, if you're looking to sell, Redfin agents know how to get you the best price possible for your home. That's because they close twice as many deals as other agents. And with a listing fee as low as 1%, Redfin's fees are half of what others often charge, which means you'll have more money to put towards your next home.

So whether you're looking to buy, you're looking to rent, you're looking to sell, Redfin's got you covered. Download the Redfin app to get started. Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile.

Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back.

So I thought it would be fun. if we made $15 bills. But it turns out That's very illegal. Uh, so there goes my big idea for the commercial. Give it a try at mintmobile.com/slash switch.

A prompt payment of $45 for a three-month plan equivalent to $15 per month required. New customer offer for first three months only. Speeds low after 35 gigabytes if networks busy. Taxes and fees extra. See mintmobile.com.

What a great show. He's stopped. In the new movie, F1. Javier Barden is here from the White Lotus and the Gilden Age. Terry Kuhn is joining us.

And we have stand-up from the very funny John Chris. Stick around, our next guest. Can currently be seen on his Jokes for Humans tour, making his tonight show debut. Please welcome the very funny John Christ. Oh, what's up, everybody?

How's it going? Listen, big news for me. I don't want to brag up front, but I did, we're not engaged yet, but I did just get invited to join my girlfriend's family group chat. And that's, it got better from there. That was called the setup.

That's the intro. Yes. John Chris was on the tonight show last night, and he's telling everybody, you can be found. I'll be telling everybody. The guy on the street, he's like, Do you want to?

I go, hey, I pulled him aside. I was on the tonight show last night. Right.

So, what was it like? It was unbelievable.

Well, you know, that's forever. It was your first one. First time. First time ever. That's like the.

Um that's the Super Bowl. Yeah. For a stand-up comic, that's the top. What's the top for a guy like you? This.

This is it. The radio? Yeah, the radio. You're on it right now. It doesn't get any better than this.

Come on, John. You're looking at it. Thank you very much. Hey, I know you're going to be able to do that. You want to be able to do it?

You're going to interview on the president or something, going to the Oval Office. Yeah, we're going to do that July 2nd. Yeah. What was the first when you were young, what was the first time that you were like, I'm I'm doing it? Do you remember?

No, I've I haven't been on the Tonight Show. No, not the Tonight Show, but the whatever is equivalent. Then somebody called you and said, We need you for the whatever thing, and you're like, Oh, I might be a real journalist now. No, I'm still waiting for that. It's not going to be much longer.

In fact, when this segment, I'm going to check my phone. Fingers crossed. There might be a text. Fingers crossed, dude. Right.

So, I mean, how's your tour going? Oh, unbelievable. Man, we go to, I feel like we're going to small, like, not smaller and smaller cities, but like more, like, because comedy, you can travel. Right.

If you're music, you got the two trucks and the band and the guy. What do you have? What do you have? A microphone. Right.

If that, right. If the sound guy doesn't show up, I'll just yell. You can yell. That's why you have cones. Yeah, that's that.

You go to the construction. Just like Jesus. Right.

That's how he started. On the shoreline. He had to have a hill. Right.

So he could talk to everybody. Is that true? He tried this situation. He had set it up so we could echo off the wall. You're looking at me and I'm like talking on this is how Jesus did it.

No, but here you do have that religious background.

Well, you know how, let's see, like the Coliseum, it's kind of dug out and you can kind of. Yeah, it can't be just yelling out into the ocean. Do you write stuff down? Me, so you need if you're on the road, you're gonna need a pen, right? Yeah, all the time.

I need a pen. Yeah, if I start doing this bit about how Jesus talked and you hear it, you're like, I know, you stole that from me. I know.

So, so let me share a story that might not be worthy. Let's hear it, but let's try it. This is how everything starts. Yeah, that's how uh inspiration starts. Don't cut it out, don't say that before it starts.

So, Lee Bryce is at the old Westbury Music Theater, okay? And he's there that's 20 minutes from my house.

So, I show up and I get there early, and he's like, You don't mind. Yeah, oh, yeah, I was civilian.

Okay.

So I get up there and he said, why don't you stop by first? And I walked in. He's. He's like, I hope you don't mind. Just take a seat.

I'm working on something. I said, Great. Yeah. And the song is great. I'm with friends.

I'm like, they do it. And he sounds fantastic. He said, let me just try to record this and I'll be right with you. We record it. And my neighbors are like, oh my God, what's happened with that song?

What happened with that song? Six months goes by. Eight months goes by. Lee Bryce finally shows up. I go, Lee.

Last time I saw you goes, yeah, old Westbury, I go, that song he goes, I don't know what you're talking about. Has no idea what I'm talking about.

So I go, What does this sound like?

So they call my name. He goes, He asked me, What was I doing? I go, Wait a second, you have no remember of this. He goes, No, I'm doing this. That's what I do all the time.

Yeah. I said, All right.

So I call my friends. I go, Just remember anything?

So he called me up, he texts me, he goes, Do you remember anything? Because it sounds like something I should remember.

So we go back and forth, we piece it together. He goes back to the day, he goes to the time. He can't believe he forgot the song. He's going to record it. He's going to put it out.

All because I drilled it into him. Oh, man. Right.

So, do I deserve a little bit of credit for that? That's 100%. Because a writer, a lot of artists, they don't. They're like, ah, this is nothing. This is nothing.

And then somebody two years later goes, Hey, remember that one thing? That's you saying it might have been something. Right.

And all artists want is something. Do you think that he saw in me that I was old junior high in eighth grade, clarinet? Third row. Yeah, he he goes, Hey, listen, I if I'm gonna it's not Bono, that's not if it's Brian Kilby. Musical expertise, Brian Kilby's the guy I'm gonna love.

Anybody who has to put his instrument together. Yeah. I think that's pretty good. That's that's how you I don't think uh that's you know, women love Musicians. I don't think that would be in that category.

What about comedians? Oh, yeah. Generally. Yeah, dude. I got bullied in high school.

Then I became a comedian. Everybody's like, oh, what's up? And do you still? Are you still the kid in your head that was bullied? Yes.

Are you the famous guy that's not? I don't think any artist is the famous guy. Right.

Yeah. You go, well, I'm on the Jimmy Fountain. Oh, they must have done a favor for my agent. You're like, you always, you're like, oh, no, they just wanted this topic because it's Father's Day. It's not because of.

Oh, my podcast. My. Airing was the biggest, the most highly rated of the whole year. Oh, it's because it was Taylor Swift. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah. Oh, it's because you know.

So, is that the voice in your head? Is that the people critical of you? A voice in my head for sure. Because I was like, I told my this is getting serious, but I told my therapist, I was like, every time I feel like everybody's like, you're a loser, like, I can't believe you said that. I can't believe and they go, my therapist goes, Well, who said that?

And I hadn't no, dude. You're like, oh, everybody thinks Brian is. Yeah. Well, who said that? Do you have any?

No, somebody as a kid said that. Right.

And you repeated it.

Now we're getting very serious. But here's the thing, John. Here's the question, Alice. If you go through that as a kid and you have this less than ideal childhood, but your career ends up flourishing. It's worth it.

Right? I mean, come on. It's like, is boot camp worth becoming a general?

Well, boot camp was terrible. Yeah. Dude, you know what? My buddy, he's very wealthy. He lives down in Nashville.

He's got three young girls. And he goes, Yeah, we're. We're forcing them to play sports, to be in student government. We're really pushing them because you're going to end up. In therapy in your 30s, anyway.

Might as well be rich. Right.

You might as well have the money. Might as well can afford it. Yeah, if you could satisfy your own deductible as an adult, I think you're okay.

So if you go, hey, we're going to parent this one way, no rules, kids do whatever they want, eat whatever they want, no pleasing thank you, or very rigid, we're going to maybe enforce some discipline. They're going to be in therapy in something either way. You've done something wrong. Might as well work in one of these offices on the 87th floor. Therapy pays off in your mind?

Yes. Would you do the phone call therapy? Like they have both of them. I do a Zoom. I wouldn't do a phone call.

No, because you picked that person out. There's services, psychological services now where you just call in and they match you up with somebody. I think you do that. Those are artificial, I believe. Hi, everyone.

You know that feeling when someone shows up for you just when you need it most? That's what Uber is all about. Not just a ride or dinner at your door.

It's how Uber helps you show up for the moments that matter. Because showing up can turn a tough day around or make a good one even better. Whatever it is, big or small, Uber is on the way.

so you can be on yours. Uber. On our way.

So, Warren Zyders, who you have the same public as.

So, he comes in, he does. I saw him come through, and then we do a feature together. The president saw him, and he said some nice things about the president at the end. He goes, I'd love to play golf with him and appreciate what he's doing. Not even.

And he doesn't even play golf. But this way, it's not like. One of these guys that just loves him. He goes, Yeah, I like him. I'd love to meet him one day.

Well, the president sees him, listen to the music, and goes, I like this guy. Yeah. And he's famous.

So he gets on, and it was time to have the president's going to have a parade. He's like, I want Warren's Adders. Warnsley's got like what four number one songs, right? Great story. Like you generated his own audience before Nashville.

He did it by himself. Yeah. So that's why your publicist likes them. Yeah. Right?

Like Type 6 self-made people.

Now when Warren comes back, he doesn't have time to do this show. Right.

I've been doing this show seven times when I'm waiting for the payoff.

Well, you got it. He got the thread show. Oh, yeah, you're taking credit for it. Yeah, I was hoping that you would close a circle. Not a 360, but a 180.

Yeah, a 180, dude.

So I want you to hear how NBC, he's up there on stage. The guy's, what, 24, 26? Very attractive, man. I wasn't seeing him getting that. I was just talking about his age.

Oh, oh, oops. He's very good, very good built. He's well-built.

Well-built, yeah, yeah. But is that any better?

So, listen to NBC. All right. How arrogant. Listen to this. We expect there to be several performances as a part of this celebration that's happening on the National Mall today for the Army's 250th birthday.

I. I don't know who this is singing right now, and I probably should, but We were told there would be a surprise. I was also hoping we would be told who the surprise is. But this is, I'm sure, an important booking. And if anyone has an idea, we'd love to hear it just for folks who are watching.

Say it again. Warren Zeiters. Zeiters, okay. That's what we're told. Wallen's items.

I think it was Wallen? Wallen? Yeah. Time for the Google. Country music fans are very frustrated with this right now.

That is the same thing.

Meanwhile, you hear the song in the background. I think it's number one in the country right now. I mean, that's like the extremely well-known song. You should feel a little bit of humility. Yeah, or at least like if you politics aside, if you're the news.

You're supposed to know what the stuff is. You should know the band. We watch you to tell us who the people are. Exactly. I don't get the.

It's like the shots. When do we see you on stage? Because I think I'm coming to the end of your appearance. Oh, we're here?

Well, anywhere. Tell me where you are. You know what? I'm off for six weeks. Oh, you did.

The last time you were here, you were up right before your vacation. And then I'm going to go up back in September. September. Where do we find that? JohnChris.com?

Everywhere. I'm going to be 32 cities in the fall. She was just finding you. Oh, yeah. He's out there.

Check the stage. You're going to be there. Your town. I'm coming there. All right.

And just remember, you had tonight's show, but I'd like to be number two. I'd be number two. Number two in our heart. Stay number two. Number two.

Brian Kilmey. Almost as cool as Jimmy Fallon. Actually, not at all. Thanks, John Christ. From the Fox News Podcasts Network.
