And so this week we're going to kind of pick up where we left off in our last broadcast. If you were here with us last week, you know, we were going through some of the keys. I've been doing that for a while. Five biblical keys to your best health ever, or five biblical keys to kingdom health.

So those are interchangeable. And so the last key we were looking at in key number five was God's eating plan. And so we went over some things and God's eating plan and how that works and how, you know, the Lord had really laid out in the eating plan what we were to eat in Genesis 1 29, which we went over that.

We looked at it and really talked about eating as close to that plan as possible. Most of the time to experience what I call kingdom health. And so when I think about and I think about what this program is about and why we are bringing this to the airwaves and, and what some of the key things are, I kind of came up with those five keys over the past couple of months because I wanted to simplify it down to really something that if, if you look at these five keys, dig deep into them and get the meaning behind each one, then you can experience a different level of health.

And I believe this for God's people. So what I'm going to do today is basically go over all of the keys shortly. I mean, in short form fashion to kind of recap what we've been going and going over for the past few weeks.

And just reminder, and also for those that may not have heard the broadcast before, this may be your first time tuning in. Yes, this broadcast is geared towards kingdom health and helping believers to live a life of health that I believe God has ordained for us. God has designed for us. And I believe all we have to do is really accept it and walk in it, you know, basically. So I know in the world, there's a lot of things around health and weight loss and a lot of different things. It's a multi-billion dollar industry because that's something that a lot of people struggle with. And yes, you're going to struggle with it.

If you eat the way that America, or if you live in this country or you may be in another country, but the American diet, if you eat according to the American diet, you're going to struggle with weight, health issues, a number of different things as it relates to food. But that's nothing new because as a believer, we have to be mindful. The word says to be watchful and pray. So we have to be watchful. We have to be watchmen on the wall and be watchful as it relates to a number of things that we do that we take for granted and feel like, hey, you know what? It's something innocent. It's something that's not a big deal or whatever. And it may or may not, but this is the thing I want everybody to be mindful of.

You listen to this broadcast right now. I want you to be mindful of a few things, right? Eating has always been a gateway, a way for the enemy to get a foothold. I mean, as it goes back to the beginning of time, you know, it's nothing new under the sun. As they say, eating is a gateway for the enemy to get a foothold.

It can be, but it doesn't have to be. I'm going to take you all back to Genesis again, right? And we're going to go to the beginning, where it all started. Here you have man and woman, Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden. And you have God given Adam explicit instructions and his wife, Eve, there with him, about what to take part of and what not to take part of. So now we all know the story because we're taught the Adam and Eve story, you know, in, I mean, we're in grade school and we're taught the story Sunday school, early on, young Adam and Eve, right there in the garden. Everything is wonderful.

They have everything they need. God has supplied all of their needs according to the word of the Lord, according to his riches and glory in Eden from the beginning. But then what happens? He tells man to eat from certain trees. And then he gives man one tree not to eat from. And then they were tricked into eating from that tree because it seemed harmless.

It didn't seem like it was a big deal. Hey, listen, you know, if we eat from this tree, I mean, we're surely not going to die because all of this, all of these trees are here, you know, so that we can, that we can benefit, we can eat from them and we can live. But see, even from the beginning, there was a trick set up around eating. And the enemy tricked them into eating something, even if it's symbolic, into eating something that was not to their best interest. Now, and today, the same thing is happening.

The same thing is happening. A lot of foods that are deemed healthy, that are deemed good for us, that are deemed, you know, foods that you want to eat and then given to us as you can eat this, eat this every day or whatever. The same thing is happening because, you know, I'm at a place right now where I really feel like ultra-processed foods.

They shouldn't be in the schools. They shouldn't be in anybody's food pantry because, again, short-term gain, yes, you have something that you are putting in your system, but long-term, it's not food. That ultra-processed stuff is not food. It's something that's manufactured that they're giving to us as food, but it's not food. And the easy way to solve that dilemma is when you think about whatever it is you're eating and try to eat like this, most of the time, I'm stuck on the eating part, the more you eat something that has one ingredient, the better off you're going to be.

Now, think about that. The more of what you eat consists of one ingredient, right? When you get an apple out of the store and you pick it up in the produce section, what else is in that?

Nothing. It's an apple, an orange, a grape, a cucumber, a carrot. Lettuce is lettuce, right? Potato, sweet potato, all of those things are one ingredient. A fish, whether it be a salmon, a mackerel, a flounder, one ingredient.

Whole foods, that's going to be the best thing for us to eat. So again, going back to the garden, that was a trick, right? And there's always been, as I mentioned, that's a way for the enemy to get a foothold. And so what I want to do is, you know, if the Lord allows me to, is to help the body of Christ to reign and to overcome and triumph in the area of health. See, my mindset is, believers, hey, we should be the healthiest or we could be the healthiest people on the planet.

And we can be. And God has given us the way to do it. So now, sometimes it just takes some encouragement. Sometimes it takes just hearing the word. Again, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word on health over and over and over again until it's like, okay, you know what? I get it. Yes, I can be in the best health I've ever been in.

It doesn't matter if I'm 50, 60, 70, 80, I still can be in the best health that I've ever been in. Absolutely, you can, right? It's just a matter of you hearing and having faith for something that's a little bit different. Now, that leads us to the first key, which I said, I'm going to cover these keys again, kind of got caught up into that first part, because again, food is a gateway.

You think about Esau, right? He gave away his birthright over some food. I'm telling you, it's a gateway. It's an open door if we don't close it. That's what food is. Food can be our biggest blessing, right? We do celebrations. We have good times around food, but it doesn't have to be to the detriment of our bodies.

It really doesn't. You know, when we say we say grace and we pray over food, we say, Lord, help this be to the nourishment of our body, but we can't eat a bunch of crazy junk stuff and then ask God to help it to be nourishment for our bodies. Come on now.

Come on. No, he's already designed the things that are to nourish our bodies and cells and build us up and not tear us down. So again, another gateway, of course, food. We talked about that, how that's a gateway, but it doesn't have to be.

That can be a closed door and you can close that door. So those keys we talked about, okay, going back to that first key, you got to have a vision. And that's what I'm trying to do right here is help you get a different vision for health as it relates to the Word, as it relates to your mission here on earth, that you get a vision or catch a vision for a you that's vital, a you that's full of energy, a you that has the life force and energy that God designed for you to have, no matter what age you are right now.

Because again, it doesn't matter because you can experience the best health of your life at 85 years old. That's right. So now, if you get a vision for it, then you can see it through. I had a young lady in one of the classes and we go through this exercise and talk about vision.

We have each one spell it out. What does that mean? I mean, you can say, yeah, I have a vision, but what does it mean? What does your vision look like? Where do you, what do you see down the road? Tell me about your lifestyle. What are you doing? What's your vision? What's different? How are you feeling?

What kind of things are you doing that you, that you're not doing now because your health is holding you back? And it was amazing when she, you know, told the stories about what she saw was beautiful because it was vivid. And I have no doubt in my mind that she'll be living in that vision a year from now because she was specific. She saw it. She knew what she would feel like. She knew what kind of energy she would have.

She also mentioned she'd get back to doing marathons. And as a matter of fact, I think she's already signed up for one because she has the vision and she's going to run with that because now she's got faith for what she sees in that vision. The word also tells us where there is no vision, the people what?

The people perish. So you've got to have a vision for your health, right? If not, your health will still perish. You've got to have a vision for it. Absolutely. So that's the first key. So I want to definitely make sure you all have a vision.

And if you're hearing this today that you catch a vision, get a vision for what you want your health to be, because that's going to be one of the key factors in you being able to move forward in your health. And then the second key is around commitment, right? And what are you committing to?

See, that's a good question. What are you committing to? You know, some may say, well, it's losing a certain amount of weight.

Some may say it's eating certain things. But see, the ultimate commitment is to the vision. That's why it's so important. It's so important to have a vision because you're not committing to, you know, the little minute things. But yes, that's a part of it.

The steps. But you're committing to the overall vision. You're buying into the vision. And it's not just a vision vision that you have. But as a believer, it's the vision that God has for you as well as it relates to your health in this area of your life. Now, your commitment will allow you to walk this thing out and to walk it out in a way to where you're blessing yourself and others.

And commitment is key, and I asked the question exactly, what are you committing to? And of course, it's the vision, the first key. You're committing to that first key, the vision. And as I mentioned, it's a vision that God has given you. It's a vision that you and God have come up with as to what your health is going to look like, not just now, but down the road.

And you seeing yourself and being in that place of kingdom health and what that looks like, feels like, and everything else. So commitment is, again, being committed to that vision. Commitment is also, there's a lot of words for commitment, you know, it's fidelity, fidelity, engagement, you know, having a vow and fulfilling it, loyalty, faithfulness, all of that centered around commitment, right? But then the best way to know if you're committed to something or committed to the vision that you have, it's what are you doing?

That's going to determine your level of commitment. What actions are you taking? How are you executing that vision?

What are you doing to make it come to pass? And so we know in Habakkuk chapter two, and I think it's verse two, the word talks about writing the vision and making it plain so that they that see it can run with it. So when we talk about that and look at the scripture there, who's going to run with the vision?

You're making the vision plain for yourself so that you can run with it as it relates to health. But again, you have to be committed to it and taking those actions that's necessary. So then we know that we have faith for it.

We know we can operate in faith. But again, what are we doing? And that's where commitment comes in because we know James two and 17 says, so also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead or in other words, faith without works is dead. So again, commitment means you're doing something in line with the vision. The steps you are taking are in line with the vision. You are committed to your health.

You're committed to yourself. And again, if you're forming this vision key number one, now it's connected with key number two. If that vision is being formed in concert with God, you're also making a commitment to God around that vision for him to give you the grace to see it through. And I really believe this really believe this with everything in me. If you're doing things in this fashion, then God will bring the vision to pass. Again, you got to have faith for the vision, but also you got to have works with the vision. And that ties into the commitment.

Just a commitment is not something that's necessarily hard. It's not something that's laborious. And I know a lot of people out there listening when you start talking about health and healing in the body and some things we want to do because yes, we get a lot of pleasure from eating. And you know, I'm not going to deny that all of us, most of us, I think all of us probably get some pleasure from eating, right? We have our favorite foods. They make us feel good.

When we eat them, we have a good time around certain foods. But again, it still doesn't negate the fact that we can be committed to a healthy vision and still enjoy those foods and some of the things we do as well, but we just have everything in this proper place. So again, key number two is commitment.

So we want to walk out that commitment, show our commitment with our actions. And then we talk about, you talked about God's plan for our health, which I think is tied up in that vision, the vision that we get when we think about our being in kingdom health, what is our, what is our healthiest possible state that we can be in? So I'm a challenge everybody out there today to really between this week and next week to get a vision. Think about your, what's your best possible health, meditate on it. What's the best health that you could possibly be in? What would be your kingdom health example? If you sat down and thought about it, prayed about it, what kind of health do you feel like God would want you in a God wants you in?

I want you to think about that. What's his plan for your health? Because that's the third key God's plan for your health. Now we know the scripture that surrounds that is third John two, beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. So we already know it's God's will for you to be in health.

So again, form that vision, meditate on it, knowing that God wants you in your best health or in kingdom health. And then also what you can do too is because this will help you. You'll be able to see this in writing, be able to make notes and write in the booklet. It's a free booklet.

You can get online that I have it. The number five cheese, K E Y S dot live. Go there, download the booklet, work on it, formalize your vision, answer some of the questions in there. Cause the questions are designed to really have you think and be introspective. And then to start your journey towards kingdom health, your best health ever. So again, God's plan for your health. That's key number three. Now, key number four was the renewing of the mind. So we know that again, faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. So in order to have faith for something, we have to hear it over and over and over again. And so that's what happens with the renewing of the mind as well. We have to hear something different over and over and over again.

It has to be something that we're willing to hear something. We're willing to allow the word to give us a different way of thinking about something renewing of the mind. See the word says in Romans, it says not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Now, and I'm going to tell you this, that whole foodstuff industry in my estimation is the world's way. It's the world's way. It's quick.

It's convenient. It's easy, but the by-product of what comes from it is your failing health, which God has given us a simple way in Genesis 1 29 to not only restore health, but to enhance health. So now renewing our minds around how we eat as it relates to that is a process. But again, I hope you all are hearing me today is that you can change your mind about how you think about about how you think about this whole process, what you eat, why you eat it, when you eat it, and again, what you're eating it for.

All of those things come into play when it relates to renewing your mind and being willing to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you understand, you'll get, you'll get a clear picture on how this whole thing works, and then you'll be excited to eat carrots, right? You'll be excited to eat celeries when you get the chicken wings that give you the little, little celery and carrots on the side.

And, you know, half the time, you know, most people don't eat the carrots and celery. No, you'll be eating no, you'll be eating those things because now your mind is being renewed and you understand like, okay, yes, I'm saying yes to the things that's going to build me up and build up my cells. That fifth key again is God's eating plan. Genesis 129, look it up in your Bible, look at it, read it, and then you can go to again, you can go to five, the number five keys, K-E-Y-S dot live and get everything we just went over in detail, free booklet right there, download it, pray about it, start your Kingdom Health journey. Again, I want to thank you for joining us today. Again, this is Mike James of Bodies in Christ, a Kingdom Health transformation. God bless. And yes, the best is yet to come.
