The number one pediatrician recommended brand. Halfway through our final show of the work week. It's a fabulous Friday that we're heading into. It's actually a holiday weekend and so there are a lot of people who are already getting the heck out of Dodge. We've got the U.S. Open that culminates on Father's Day Sunday and then Monday is Juneteenth and more and more companies and industries are recognizing it. I said this earlier, our company, our parent company, Odyssey.

Which is a made up name like Infinity Sports Network. It is now recognizing Juneteenth as a holiday. I think this is the first year where it's been listed as one of our official holidays and that's not why I'm taking it off. Actually, I'm taking it off because it's Father's Day on Sunday and Monday is our six month wedding anniversary. So we decided that we would take it off mostly. It's not really about the anniversary.

I've worked on pretty much every other one. It's because my hubs lost his dad three weeks before we got married. And it was obviously very emotional. And this is his first Father's Day without his dad. And it's also his first Father's Day away from Texas, which is where his sons are. And so I wanted to make sure that I could spend the day with him and that we could maybe take a ride or go kayaking or just do something that will give him joy. Because I know this is going to be an emotional Sunday for him, an emotional Father's Day for him.

And so I wanted to do what I could to make it memorable for different reasons. It's a lot of change this year for him and a lot of change for both of us. But it's definitely a lot of change for him in terms of geography and logistics. And I've been away from my family for most of my adult life, but it's certainly an adjustment for him. And he tells me he loves New Jersey and he loves our house and he loves our life, so I'm going to believe him. And we do have a lot of fun, but we also really look forward to our visits with family. His mom was in town for a week and she left on Wednesday. We've got two more family weddings in Texas before the summer is done.

And we've also got my brother's milestone birthday this year. So we're spending about four or five days with my brother and his family and my mom will be there too. At some point, since mom's not listening I can say this, we're going to do a surprise for my mom's retirement. She's not really in party mode right now. She's still wrestling with the change and what do I do now and the uncertainty.

And so for that reason, we're kind of pushing it back just a little bit. But I'll get to see her for parts of two different weeks in July, so I'm excited about that. So yeah, that's the reason taking a long weekend not because I normally take holidays off. I've told him it's one huge change since I met you. Now all of a sudden I take holidays off and I feel like such a slacker. No, it's priorities, right? Priorities change when your personal life changes and I waited a long time to get married so I have no problems at all, no qualms at all about changing up the priorities.

It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence. We just talked about Trevor Lawrence. He's now fourth in JAG's history in terms of passing yards and passing touchdowns, even though his team does have a losing record with him as a starter. They've got the one division title, they've got the one playoff win, and then this past year it was wah wah wah. How can they rally in the AFC South? I kind of feel like the division is open as much as the Texans asserted themselves last year. Let's be honest, the Jaguars left the door wide open. If you remember, the Jaguars had a three game lead in the AFC South at one point.

I think it was about the midway point of last season, if not even later than the midway point. And they did not play well. Trevor Lawrence would be the first one to tell you he did not play well. And as we talked about, he had some injuries that he was battling.

So the team was 1-5 to wrap up the season, miss the playoffs altogether, and I kind of look forward to seeing what these two teams... They're not young at every position. They've got coaches who have experience, though D'Amico Ryans is just going to do his second year as a head coach.

But both guys played in the league, Ryans and Doug Peterson. The quarterbacks are relatively young, they've got good pieces around them. And so yes, while technically the Texans are the team to beat in the AFC South because they're the defending division champs, I do think the Jaguars will rebound this season, especially if he's healthy. And I'll say the same thing about Trevor Lawrence that I said about Kaitlyn Clark. He can't not get better.

I know it's a double negative. Of course he's going to get better. He's talented, he's smart, he's motivated, he has great desire, he hates losing, he gets more upset at himself than anybody else around him, he's his own worst critic.

He's driven. All of these things, in addition to the skills and the abilities that he's been blessed with and that he's honed over the course of his football career, all of these reasons mean... As long as he stays healthy, I have no doubt he will continue to get better, even if he took a step back last season. Same thing with Kaitlyn Clark.

There's an adjustment period, she's into a whole new realm, but she's too good and she's too driven and she's too determined not to get better. And that actually triggers something even as I talk about it. You may have seen the clip from Tom Brady that was going viral. Now this is from Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, member 60,000 plus on hand for his retirement ceremony.

They waive the requirement, Bob Crafted, generally there's a waiting period. Nah, not for Tom Brady, we break all the rules. Not only is his number getting retired, but a 12 foot statue will be erected at Gillette Stadium in honor of Tom Brady. Do you think there'll also be a Bill Belichick statue?

Just wondering. There should be. I mean, he was part of all six of those Super Bowl wins. You could have a 12 foot Brady statue, you can give Bill a life-size one, right? Would it be something along the lines of, honey, I shrunk the kids and Tom Brady's enormous and Bill Belichick is real little? Like right under him. Couldn't do that.

They'd have to be in separate lots. Right. Did you happen to hear the ovation that Belichick got when he came out on stage? So he was introduced, he and Brady had a nice embrace, and the crowd went crazy for Belichick.

It's a little bit like this turning of the tide. I think a lot of people would have told you at the end of Belichick's tenure, especially when Brady went to Tampa and won another Super Bowl. People might have said, we're done with Belichick. I mean, how many people said Belichick can't coach? Without Brady, he can't coach, which is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my entire career. He can't coach without Tom Brady. Now, did he make poor decisions about drafting, about the roster, about the coaching staff, specifically about coordinators?

Yes, yes. He's made some really bad choices. But he can coach. Those are not choices that are related to coaching. They're administrative choices.

No, that doesn't have anything to do with it. But I think that after that documentary came out, and I haven't seen all of it yet, but after that documentary came out about the Patriots and the way that it seemed like Bob Kraft actually undermined him in interviews and spoke poorly about him. And I don't know, maybe put some of the blame on Belichick for Brady's exit. It's almost like the fan sentiment has turned back toward Belichick now. It's kind of interesting how we're so fickle as fans. I've said this before. We go the way the wind blows a lot of times. And so whereas Bill Belichick may have been public enemy number one going back say three years ago, especially after they missed the playoffs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl again and Brady was happy and he was open and joyful and all those things.

Now it's different. I think, don't know what you got until it's gone. That was just, you took the words out of my mouth.

That's what I was going to say. I think Jerrod Mayo could be a great coach. I'm looking forward to seeing it, but he did come up in the Belichick school. The players have already said it's just a different atmosphere. Obviously Belichick was known for berating them.

He didn't sugarcoat anything. And so maybe there's a bit of a disconnect between today's younger player and Bill Belichick. Andy Reid's not like that, right? He doesn't berate guys. He's much more low key and even keel, though you do see him get mad, but he's not the kind of guy who who rakes his players over the coals in front of everybody else. Travis to the Super Bowl.

True, right? Travis essentially runs him over and everything's great. So yeah, two different personalities. I can't wait to see Bill back in the league. I think, like Mike McCarthy, he'll have a new lease on life and just feels so rejuvenated with a fresh challenge. But yeah, it was kind of fun to hear the fans cheer for him as though they really know now we're going to miss him.

It's so different. The greatest coach of all time. One of the greatest coaches of all time in any sport. He's not ours anymore. Uh oh. We had it pretty damn good for 20 years.

It's after hours with Amy Lawrence. We're going to hear from Andy Reid coming up a little bit later on. But Tom Brady had this moment in his retirement speech to the masses there at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday.

And it's gone viral now. It's it's I think it's applicable to a Trevor Lawrence, to a Kaitlyn Clark, to anyone who wants to be great. And this is his formula for achieving greatness to be successful at anything. The truth is, you don't have to be special. You just have to be what most people aren't consistent, determined and willing to work for it.

No shortcuts. If you look at all my teammates here tonight, it would be impossible to find better examples of men who embody that work ethic, integrity, purpose, determination and discipline that it takes to be a champion in life. Tom Brady to the faithful there at Gillette Stadium. And yeah, that's one that's been all over the place. You don't have to be amazing. You don't have to be the best in terms of true talent. Now you just have to have what everybody else doesn't. You have to do what everyone else won't do, which is outwork, outlast, be more determined, be more committed, be more tenacious. Men have often said that about me and my career and just me as a person. For better or for worse, sometimes it's actually for worse. I refuse to give up. I just do not go away when I want something.

I'm like a dog with a bone, for heaven's sakes. And so with this career, so many of the people I came in with, they've gotten out of it. Tough hours, work on weekends, pay is low. At times, not a lot of opportunity for advancement. It can be a tough career. I've lived paycheck to paycheck most of my life. I've worked weekends since I got into this business. I work nights.

The hours are hard. Sports never stop. And yet I'm still here because of the passion and because I just decided I wasn't going to give up and I wasn't going to go away. And there's so many people, even here at what used to be CBS Sports Radio, even here 12 years, I'm the only original host. There's a few of the anchors that are started at the same time that are original, but I'm the only original host left.

Sometimes if you stick and you keep trying, you keep working at it, you outlast those people that kind of fall by the wayside. It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence. Let's talk to Beck, who's in Florida. Welcome to the show. Hey, how's it going, Amy?

Good, thank you. First time caller, long time listener. How about the Panthers tonight? And also speaking of jet life, the other night and hot dogs, we won't get into the hot dogs again. But with being in Texas, you know about where George Bush Airport is and me being west side of H-Town, getting that first flight in the morning and leaving three, four in the morning with no traffic to get out there. So yes, take that pulled all-nighter and I'm getting on the plane and sometimes I get flying... Wait, you're doing that this morning? No, no, no, but coming from an aviation family and flying non-rev or whatever, sometimes I get first class and I'm like, I'm not going to sleep. Take advantage of first class.

So I'm drinking adult beverages at 5.30 in the morning and these people are ordering coffees and orange juice and going to sleep or whatever. And with that, you were talking about the Blue Angels documentary. I was just at the air show for Memorial Day weekend here on South Beach and for a lot of air shows a couple weeks before that. So going into that and it alternates the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds. This year was the Thunderbirds.

Next year is going to be the Blue Angels. So I heard that and that was a great documentary. My buddy just went back and he lives in New Bronzeville, went back into Katy, saw his dad this weekend and he said, hey, I just saw the Blue Angels documentary. That was awesome. I told you.

It's great. And of course here, Pensacola is their air base. My uncle lives up there and the beach shows in a couple weeks. And of course they do the two shows, the Homecoming in November and then this one. So I'm glad you guys, Houston, you were saying the wings over Houston I think is October.

So out at Ellington Field. So maybe if you like the way you get to go. You've never been to an air show before. This is your first one you're going to. Recently you were just saying that now that you're into this jet life. Not my first air show. My first time seeing the Blue Angels. Yeah.

It's awesome. Again, seeing the beach shows, I'm done with the beach shows. I want to see one at an air base where you see the take off, you see the ceremony and the stuff before that. Because when I was a kid I went to the Naval Graduation in Annapolis and saw them flying over the Potomac River and all that. Seeing the Naval Graduation in Annapolis when I was a kid. So I guess maybe that started this whole thing that here we are adults now and that's a whole different life.

That it's just, it's crazy when you see it in person and do everything else. Can't wait. Absolutely can't wait.

And yeah, the Panthers, the way that they have used this system, their identity, their formula, it's brilliant. Hopefully we can live and we can hopefully hold the cup and I guess you're not working. Maybe if we win it Saturday you're not going to be worried until whatever else. But I want game five because I want to be able to have that chance to maybe go see it in person. So are you in the Miami area?

I live like five minutes from the stadium. Gotcha. So are you getting inundated with all the rain?

Oh yeah. It's been raining for five or four straight days. Yeah, that's what I heard.

About two feet of rain in Miami. It means for the last, you know, every five minutes there's a new Amber Alert coming through. Wait, Amber Alert for missing children? No, well the emergency, whatever.

Gotcha, gotcha. Yeah, Amber Alerts are for missing kids. Well, it's the same beeping. Some message comes through and I hear that same tone on the phone. So yeah, I always hit exit. But yeah, it's I guess flood warnings and this and that.

Gotcha, gotcha. Well, that certainly can be loud on your phone. I know the same thing when we've gotten a tornado warning or something like that in the area.

The phone does go obnoxiously. Yeah, well my buddy being in New Bronzeville was having those big storms when you went to the wedding. What was the city, I guess, being in Austin that you had to go to when they had the storms that week?

The temple area, Temple Texas. Yeah, they had a couple tornadoes touched down. Yep, we didn't have power the whole weekend. It was so fun. Well, at least the wedding went on and hopefully everybody had a memorable weekend. Thank you. It's all about those things, memories. I mean, it's life.

It is what it is, you know. Thank you, Beck. I appreciate your phone call. Hey, same to you. Thank you for the first time. Appreciate it. Awesome. Have a good weekend.

Glad to have you listening. Yeah, it's kind of crazy this weekend because you've got games Friday and Saturday, game four Friday and Saturday. We won't be here.

I don't know. I'm not going to say I hope this or I hope that because I don't have any hopes or dreams about what might happen. But if they do get extended to next week, then we'll be here. In fact, Monday would be game five of the NBA Finals. I wonder if Monday would also be game five. Probably not because it's game four. They have a three game for game five. They have a three day break just because of the travel. It is the most miles you've ever had two teams in the Stanley Cup final travel back and forth.

They're farther apart than any other two opponents in the Stanley Cup final. So it's a lot. And as I was just talking about with Beck, he said four days of rain. I heard parts of Miami have gotten two feet of water, two feet of water. I remember during Hurricane Harvey, when my mom was flooded into her neighborhood, people were using boats to navigate the neighborhood. They couldn't go anywhere for a few days. They had school canceled for two weeks. She well, her husband had a bucket in the backyard and they got 54 inches of rain, 54 inches of water.

Isn't that insane? Where does it go? I mean, it eventually runs off or seeps in. But when the ground is saturated, you know, it's happened here in our part of the country, the New York, New Jersey area. Last summer, we were inundated with rain.

Remember? And there was just no place for it to go. So that's when you get flooding and all that kind of stuff. And then when you're on the coast, like they are in parts of Florida, as well as the Gulf Coast with Houston, there's also the storm surge. And yeah, it just can be a major issue. Water.

I mean, water is it's dangerous. All right. So we're asking you, how would you feel if both the hoops and hockey championship rounds ended in sweeps? I'd have to go back and research it.

I don't know. The last time that ever happened, they're both on the same network, which is kind of interesting. They've had to navigate their different dates and all that jazz. I suspect that's why the Stanley Cup final didn't start until a couple of days after the NBA, because they've got to navigate these networks and, well, this network and their coverage and their primetime options. But it would be, I think, not indicative of how much star power and how competitive the series have been. But I think disappointing to not just to the leagues, but to fans who would like to see the best of the best on this stage for maybe a little longer.

Certainly wouldn't be disappointing for the Panthers or Celtics fan bases, that's for sure. Jay, did you figure it out? The last time the two series ended in sweeps? I think so, but it's weirdly worded, so I'll have to clarify. All right. So we're getting our crack research department on producer Jay.

It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence. OK, quick math. The less your business spends on operations, on multiple systems, on delivering your product or service, the more margin you have and the more money you keep.

This is After Hours with Amy Lawrence. Oh, those Kansas City Chiefs. We were asking you about the it city in sports right now. And a couple of you pointed to Casey because everything that Patrick Mahomes touches turns to gold. Not just on the football field, but you know, he and Travis now have a steakhouse and may turn into a chain.

That was sweet. He's also courtside at Mavericks games throughout the playoffs. He and his wife. And then they were back in Kansas City 24 hours after game three walking the red carpet for the ring ceremony.

It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence. If you have not seen the rings, maybe Jay can put up. Well, first of all, I shared a photo, so I tweeted a photo of Patrick Mahomes wearing now three rings. He's starting to look like Tom Brady with all those rings and all that bling on his fingers.

So that was kind of fun. They're all flashing. The guys who've been there for all three of them, like Travis, like Andy Reid and his wife. And the rings are magnificent, but they're also gaudy. If you haven't seen them, here are some of the deets about their latest and greatest worlds, not world series, Super Bowl rings.

You ready? They have 529 diamonds on each one. 529 diamonds.

Is that significant? I mean, like of any, like 529 or is that just, they're like, oh, like, why not? 530 is too much. That's a good question. 529. Hmm.

Area code? I don't know. 529 diamonds, 38 rubies, and 14.8 carats worth of gems. Players, coaches, ownership, and staff all received these Super Bowl rings. And here's kind of a fun little secret about the rings.

They open, the top of the ring opens up like a secret compartment. And inside, the Tom and Jerry play with a date from the Super Bowl. It's the diagram of Tom and Jerry. Jay, I don't know if you can, it might not be something you can get that quickly, but do you remember that Patrick Mahomes talked about the Tom and Jerry play? So, okay, it was the mic'd up NFL Films version of the Super Bowl, you know, when you got guys mic'd up.

And they talked about the Tom and Jerry play. Anyway, 2-11-2024 is also on the inside. And yeah, they have a bunch of different inscriptions. They've got their names on them.

It says back to back as well. And so they were able to put in a few nuggets and a few nods that make these rings different than the ones they've received in the past. Hey! Hey, so we've got Church Right Bunch, F, shuttle, Tom and Jerry, right, yellow. Orange, orange, orange, orange, let's go! 13 seconds to go in the overtime. Set! We're good, we're good! A touchdown wins the game.

Set! Right side touchdown! Kansas City!

There is a back to back Super Bowl champion, and it is the Kansas City Chiefs. Jay, does it feel like forever? Ever?

You're watching it on YouTube, aren't you, while you're playing it? Yeah. He was rolling around. That's right, remember?

He was just rolling around in the end zone, or near the end zone. So the game went into overtime. I mean, it's one of those things where you have to think back now.

It's been, what, four months? And so it feels like forever ago, so much has happened in sports. But yeah, Super Bowl 58 goes into overtime. It's a first and goal scenario for the Kansas City Chiefs. And of course, you're Patrick Mahomes.

You've got all these incredible weapons around you. You're just a few yards away from the end zone. But the play they went to was called Tom and Jerry. And we've heard the different breakdowns of it now. That was the one that was from NFL films, kind of the compilation. But it's one that is a, quote, cousin of the corn dog play that helped the Chiefs beat the Eagles the year before in Super Bowl 57. So if you haven't seen it, it's out there on NFL and NFL films.

Excuse me. So yeah, we've talked about it going back. But because that was the play that got them into the end zone in overtime of the Super Bowl, they diagrammed that play and put it on the inside of the secret compartment that opened up at the top of the ring. It's almost like the ring, the flat part with the gaudy gems on the top of it.

It opens up like a cover on a mug or something. Like a secret Dakota ring. That's true. A secret Dakota ring is another way, depending upon your generation. So yeah, pretty exciting for not just Mahomes and Reed and Kelsey, who now have three rings, and some of the others who have three rings. But how about the guys that are getting their rings for the first time? And we know that at the Super Bowl parade and at various points since, the term three Pete has come up and Travis at mandatory OTAs was asked about the conversation surrounding a third consecutive win.

It's really only come up when I got cameras in front of me. I think everybody is pretty motivated to keep the mentality that we had last year. We didn't get to back to back by always talking back to back. We got there by trying to figure out what's the best way to get better from last week and yesterday. And I think that mentality is key in something like this. You can't get too far down the road. Obviously there's a goal set, but there's a bunch of them that are set before that. When the division trying to get first place in the AFC, those kind of things are more obtainable right now than thinking about the three-peat at the end of the year. Travis Kelsey addressing the media and the idea of a three-peat, and I'm sure they'll squash it as they get closer to the season and say they won't talk about it at all.

Just was thinking about the Tom and Jerry too and kind of reading some of it as I pulled up an article to make sure that I could remember which direction it went. Mikko Hardman is kind of funny too just reading it. He knew the ball was coming to him, didn't know it was going to be the last play in the game of course, and it was all because Travis Kelsey was double-teamed. That's the whole idea is that you have a weapon that's as dangerous as Travis Kelsey. Well, yeah, there are going to be other guys open. It's a formula that works in every sport. Hockey and hoops, well not in baseball, but hockey and hoops, if you double-team one star, inevitably somebody else is open. That's just math. It works a little bit in baseball where if you just want to say a guy gets protection in the lineup where they're not going to pitch to, you know, you're going to give your, you know what I mean.

Healthy respect, right? Exactly. Maybe you're pitching around a guy like an Aaron Judge, but now you've got, is it Juan Soto who's right behind him? Right. Yeah, so now you've got Soto who's behind him or, heavens, let's use the Dodgers lineup as an example because people hate it when I talk about the Astros and their World Series teams. But if you think about the Dodgers and they've got Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani and Freddy Freeman. Those are your first three.

How do you get around the top of the order? Exactly. And when you've got a Patrick Mahomes and any of the real great quarterbacks, they raise the level of play. They make everybody else around them better.

And he turns guys into weapons. First-year guys, guys that were cast off or rejects from other teams. He just makes them better. So yeah, the Chiefs offense, kind of interesting too because like the year before, it struggled to start the season. There were too many turnovers. Remember, at one point they were among the leaders in the NFL in turnovers.

Drop passes, they led the league in drop passes. Last year, Travis Kelce had a really tough start to this season, but an amazing playoff run. And so here is Patrick Mahomes again, dealing with new receivers and new pieces outside of Travis. But yeah, he's saying that this offseason training program, both voluntary and mandatory OTAs, they have ratcheted up the intensity. The confidence that the defense has, I mean, just out the year that they had this last year, you can see that they're trying to build on that. And then offensively, obviously, we felt like we didn't play our best last year. And even though we won, we knew we had a lot of places to improve. And so I think guys had that mentality coming into OTAs and minicamp. And that's something I think has gotten the best out of everybody is that every single day, I mean, y'all hear it.

I mean, we're talking trash, but it's in a good way. And then we go off and we talk about it after practice and what we can do better. So it's been a great OTAs and minicamp, one of the best I think I've ever been a part of. Really in this camp, and I always explain this to the quarterbacks, is that this is the time to find out what you can get away with in the pass game.

So there are going to be interceptions that take place, but that's okay. Right now, you're testing things. And then as you go through camp, as camp goes on, then you start refining it. And hopefully you have the opportunity to do it on every route. Now, is that possible?

Probably not. But at least the ones that you haven't done a lot of. So Patrick and Andy Reed and Travis Kelsey, that's your core on offense. But the defense has got some veterans too. By the way, Travis was asked at OTAs this week what he and Taylor Swift cook together because they're still going strong. Their relationship is still a thing. And I just I these questions are so awkward, but I like how he is keeping some of their personal life private. That's a good question.

You know, I, I respect that question. Are you a fan of mystery and adventure? Introducing June's Journey, the captivating free-to-play mobile game that will ignite your inner detective. By the way, that leads me right into the tease that I delivered earlier on the show and it instantly perked producer Jay up. Taylor Swift has said she's done. Should I tell you now or should I wait until after the update?

I don't think it's in Marco's update. Do you think I should just go ahead and wait? I'll just drop it right there. She said she's done. I'll tell you why. Coming up.

Plus, a little more from our QBs. They're everywhere. It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence. You are listening to the After Hours Podcast.

This is After Hours with Amy Lawrence. You can't care what people think. No matter what people say to you, it can't change you.

You can't allow it to change you. How about the guy who said to me, you should give me some more respect. I am the guest. Hey, I am the guest on the show so show me a little bit of respect.

No. Bye, buddy. See ya. Haters gonna hate. You can embarrass yourself in front of the entire country. I have no trouble with that. There are so many people who hate Amy Lawrence. Shake it off because you can't please everybody. What's not as open-minded as I've been listening to you and giving time for our calls. Amy and I like to say, you're doing your own thing.

There's gonna be a bunch of haters don't worry about what they're saying. I think you're doing a great job. I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake. Shake it off, shake it off.

Call Amy at 855-212-4CBS. I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake. Shake it off, shake it off. I'll never miss a beat. Not only do I love this Taylor Swift song. It's one of her most popular, different era, of course. I also love We Are Never Getting Back Together. So I'm a little more old school when it comes to Swift. I love her first ever song that went big, which was the one with Tim McGraw.

It was called Tim McGraw. So I prefer some of her earlier music. But man, she's generating all kinds of new material.

Something to do with Dead Poets Society. And she's re-releasing all of her own albums from before. Using the production and the versions that she wants.

As opposed to what the producers and the album companies or album labels and companies wanted. So yeah, she's got a lot more autonomy and control. And to that end, she's been going worldwide. Her eras tour will have traversed five continents by the time it's over. And she now tells us when it's over. She's been on the road since May of 23. So over a year. She has said she's done in December.

That's it. The eras tour will come to an end on, I think it's December 8th. Early December. I do not know, but I wouldn't be surprised if she looked at the Chiefs schedule. When planning her concerts and planning. A lot of these are planned months in advance.

And sometimes even more than that because they need the stadiums. But I wouldn't be surprised if she ended maybe in a way so that she could be part of some of the Chiefs big games in December. And spend holidays with the Kelseys. They treat her like family, you know. So anyway, she's done in December.

So I guess if you haven't seen her yet. If you would like to start to save your money now. Actually it might be too late now. But maybe there's a chance you could scalp some tickets for the bargain basement price of, I don't know, $2,000 a piece. We've heard so many crazy stories, right, of dads, parents, families who essentially took out a second mortgage on their home to buy tickets for their kids.

To go see the Aeros tour and Taylor Swift concert. But yeah, you better hustle up because she's only got a few more months. She says she wants to be a normal person. Oh, that'll happen. Yeah, I'm just telling you what she said.

I'm not making this up. She did say she just wanted to be a normal person and get off the road and kind of live a normal life. Maybe, Jay, just maybe that means that her relationship has become a priority. You think? I think they're going to get married.

I thought that the whole time. I know, Jay's been on board with a Kelsey Swift official marriage document. I don't know if I'm team Kelsey Swift or not or opposed to them. I just look at them and I think they like each other. They seem to get along well and I think they're going to get married. I just see it and they seem to have a good chemistry. I hope that he does the biggest boldest proposal or maybe he does it when they're cooking together at home.

Maybe she's over big and bold gestures and she just wants something quiet. I feel like he'd have to do something kind of grandiose. I feel like he can't possibly compete with, now he is successful and is top of the, you know, pinnacle of the sport, top of his game in a different way. So I think that's probably why they connect is they both understand the pressure of performance. But I don't know, he can't possibly compete with her being worshipped, essentially. No. Like a globe across the globe on five different- He doesn't have Taylor Swift money.

Yeah, a five different con. Not even the money. But just he can't compete with the adoration and the worship that she receives, right?

That's what I meant really. Yeah, he's not, like, Kavros Kelsey is huge. He's an awesome football player. Taylor Swift is a global icon.

Yeah, she's global. Who alive right now is bigger than Taylor Swift? Messi. Ronaldo? Messi? I'd argue. I don't know. Taylor Swift is more in her prime than Messi or Ronaldo.

Shohei? He's getting close. He's big, but baseball's not as big. But he's still sports.

Yeah. So I agree with that, but I bet that what she wants, even as she says, I'm done with the eras tour in December, I want to be a normal person. What she probably most wants is not to have big and bold, but just to have the type of life that she's not had since she started this career going back to when she was a teenager. It's a shame though, because remember, was it about a year ago or so when she showed up to her, one of her friends' private wedding on the Jersey shore somewhere and it was no news about it and yet they still found her and they ruined it and they kind of crashed and ruined the whole night.

I hope she can not have that everywhere she goes, but I don't know if that's possible. I just got this tweet. Please, please, no talk of Taylor Swift.

Is there anyone that doesn't want to get on that bandwagon? What a disappointment. To who?

I have no idea. To her, I guess, because we're talking about Taylor Swift. She's an amazing entrepreneur. She's talented. She's kind. Her fans love her for the gestures that she makes. She's generous.

She's constantly giving people surprise gifts and her friends will tell stories of the types of things that she does, like give them her place when she's not there, let her stay for free when they need a place to live. This is a really, not just accomplished woman, but in her entertainment industry, but also has a giant heart. I think she's a great role model and I'm not big into the Swifty hero worship or anything like that. It's kind of crazy, but I think of all the role models that are out there. She's one that a lot of young women can look up to and I don't think there's any qualms with that.

I mean, again, she's rich, she's talented, she's, as Jay points out, a global icon, but she's also really sweet according to a lot of people who know her. So I think that's awesome. Good for her that she wants to live a normal life and maybe just wants to have a relationship outside of the public eye. And obviously Travis Kelsey is very protective of that. They'll share a little bit, but not a lot. I think that's cool.

I think it's neat that he understands why she wants protection or why she would need protection and he's got that desire to protect her. She's playing London tonight, cheapest ticket, 687 pounds. And if you want to sit next to somebody, the cheapest ticket would be about 795 pounds. And yet what does she do with her time off? She flies halfway across the globe so she can be at her boyfriend's games. How neat is that? She doesn't think she's too big for being a fan at a football game. The fact that last year people would get so incensed, she was only on screen for a few seconds of each game and yet people would be so crazy over it. I think it's neat, good for her. Let her enjoy her life in a relationship. She's worked hard for it.
