A Blessing to Be Brave

I bless you to be encouraged. May you, Joshua 1-6, be strong and courageous. Be strong and very courageous. Be strong and courageous.

Joshua 1, 6, 7, 9. When a holy, holy, holy God tells Joshua three times to be courageous, courageous, courageous, it must be important, really important, utterly important. It's what we all need if we're going to take the promise of the land. Courage. So we need God to put the courage in. That's what we need, encouragement. If God has already promised the land, if it's already ours, we don't need more skill or more information. We just need more courage. When it comes to claiming all the promises of God, which are yes and amen in Christ, may God make you brave, child of God. Brave, brave, brave.
