The body of Christ relies on its members, each with their unique gifts, to function properly. Without these gifts, the body would be incomplete and unable to fulfill its purpose.

Just as the body is one and has many members and all the members of the body, though many are one body, so it is with Christ, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12. The eye needs the hand, the head needs the foot. God's people need you because, as the old spiritual says, toe bone connected to the foot bone, foot bone connected to the heel bone, heel bone to the ankle bone, ankle bone to leg bone. Your gifts are essential. Without them, something's falling apart. You're gifted, beloved. Gifted.
