In this bonus episode, Pastor Greg Laurie and his wife, Cathe, share some thoughts on the recent passing of Luis Palau (1934–2021). Referred to as one of the greatest evangelists of the 20th and 21st centuries, Palau preached to hundreds of millions and traveled to over 80 countries.

Pastor Greg says, "He had a passion for Christ, and he had a passion for lost people. And I've no doubt at all that Jesus has probably already said something along the lines of 'Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.'"

A great man of God just went to heaven.

His name is Luis Palau. He's one of the great evangelists of the 20th and the 21st century, preaching to millions and millions of people. You know, it was my privilege to get to know Luis, hang out with him, and he just always had so much energy, even in his older years, full of energy. He had a passion for Christ, and he had a passion for lost people. And I've no doubt at all that Jesus has probably already said, something along the lines of, well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord.

He lived a godly life of integrity from beginning to end, and we thank God for his life and his legacy, and pray that God will comfort his family. And that we need to apply our hearts and keep that focus right to the very end and to finish well. And in this day and age, finishing well is as important as a good launch, right? In any day and age. I mean, it's really not just how you start the race, it's how you finish the race. And Luis certainly finished this race well. So grateful for his godly example and legacy that he leaves with his family and his ministry. That's right.
