Maturity also involves being sober, aware of one's vulnerability, and understanding the importance of being stable in one's faith. It is a mindset that says the word of God is the authority in one's life, and one is not strong but can be made strong through God's grace. Additionally, maturity involves being selfless, pursuing ways to give of oneself, and setting aside an attitude of selfishness.
