I'm Stu Everson. This is Truth Talk. And what many of you hear the program, it's on stations all over the country, it's time to man up with Nikita Koloff.

The essence of that show, the essence of your passion, Nikita, how would you describe that? Is to empower and equip men. That's what this conference is about. It's what the Man Up radio show and podcast and now TV show are about. Empowering and equipping men to be godly men, godly husbands, godly fathers, much needed in today's day and time. And so it's not too late to get registered, not too late to come out.

You're going to go back home equipped and empowered to walk that out and be that. And I don't know how this happens, but the last couple times you and I have gotten together and recorded on a national radio show is at the Campbell City barbecue factory. I want to meet him. I'm like, they look at us. I'm thinking, oh, finally someone recognizes my super Christian radio stardom. They recognize Stu and they walk over.

They don't even look at me. They say, and Nikita, will you sign this? The owner here is a big fan of yours, but it's just neat. You're leveraging that stardom. You're leveraging being on the big, the big screen, the big, you know, WWE, WWF, NWA, NW, all that stuff. The four horsemen, you know, one of the only human beings alive, maybe the only one alive that's actually double sickled, double Russian sickled, hawk and animal of the road warriors. He is Nikita Koloff, but you're leveraging all that for a greater kingdom, a greater battle, a greater war that's not against flesh and blood. That is true. And you left out one of the most famous names, the nature boy, Rick Flair, who felt the wrath of the Russian sickle, if not once, hundreds of times and survived to talk about it.

But once the Russian nightmare world champion in the ring, now world champion for Jesus and the devil's nightmare. And yeah, we're just using the professional wrestling platform to bring a message of good news around the world. And just grateful for Truth Radio, grateful for you, Stu, you, the Epperson family, and what you guys stand for in providing this opportunity to have this show and be able to be a part of what you guys have been doing for 20, 30, 40 years to the rest of the world. And it's just around lunchtime here. But I'm sitting here with Nikita Koloff. Nikita Koloff, you're doing this big man up event. It's at this beautiful facility in south of Charlotte, kind of Rock Hill, right over the state line there. It's time to man up. What's on that program? It's podcast. I mean, it's a star studded. You never know who you're going to hear. You could hear Lex Luger, you could hear amazing stories, amazing testimonies of men that you've battled with in the ring who are just on fire for God now. Yeah, but not just in the ring. I mean, there are Sting, the legendary icon, Sting has been interviewed. But not just wrestlers, Brad Johnson, Super Bowl quarterback, Tampa Bay Bucks, back in the day. And not just celebrities either. There's business entrepreneurs, there's men and women of ministry, actually have women on the man up show, because women love to hear about what men are talking about. And it's great to have women on the show to give a female perspective of what they would like to see in their men. And so all that to say the stories typically are very inspirational, and in some cases, motivational, which actually just reminds me of the man up minute we now do, but that's a whole nother story.

I got you. Well, it's like from perspiration in the ring, to inspiration outside the ring, to transformation as people's lives are changed. Men are set free from addictions. I mean, this is a real deal. This is like top gun stuff. You go down there to your man up conference. And this is like, it's game on. I mean, this is not for the light hearted. You mentioned women, wives, girlfriends, moms, stepmoms, grandmoms, get your young men, get your teenagers, dads, take your sons, take your grandsons to this event.

I can't wait till my grandson's a little older. I'm going to take him to a man up event because what's going to happen there Nikita? Well, in fact, you bring up an interesting point in the evenings, August 25th to the 27th, we're actually going to open it to the public, which means that if some women show up, we're not going to turn them away. They may want to come because of the star studded lineup of speakers. Some of the women have already told me, Hey, we want to hear what some of these speakers have to say to the men. And so women will be welcomed in the evening sessions as well. And, and this is a really a catalyst that launches into a camp that Lex Luger, the total package that we do call man camp as well.

You had all the money, anything, all the fame you ever could want. You know, this was just, just a couple of decades ago. And, and now today you have Jesus Christ and you're leveraging that to reach folks for Christ. There's a verse in Psalms 84. I think about, I don't know, the Lord just put this on my heart thinking about you, David said, or whoever the Psalmist was there in that Psalm, he said, I'd rather spend, you know, a day in the course of the Lord than a thousand elsewhere. He said, I'd rather be a doorkeeper, a humble doorkeeper at the Lord's house than in the abundance of wickedness.

What is it about? So many folks want to go back, want to go back, want to go back, but you're a guy that's moving forward. Like you have more joy now than you might've had as, as really the king of the ring back in the eighties and nineties as a, as a raging superstar around the world. Oh, by far, you know, having all what I would call the baubles and trinkets and the fame and, and some of the fortune that comes with a professional career and world being world renowned in some cases, or in some people's eyes, quote, famous, all that still left me empty at the end of the day, I was successful, but unfulfilled. And so it was that personal relationship with Jesus that I experienced 17, October, 1993 at an altar in Concord, North Carolina, which now inspires me to get up every day to go out and make a difference in an impact more so than ever in entertaining fans in a ring, but going out to, to bring a message of hope to the world that, that they can to experience that very same thing.
