We'll go all around the NBA with him and also preview the upcoming NBA draft, the Victor Wambenyama draft, as I'm referring to it, that comes your way in Brooklyn on Thursday night. But first up, producing this extravaganza for the next four hours is no other than Hot Take Kiki.

Which, by the way, there was one host on this network, and it's not me for once, that is very agitated with Hot Take Kiki. We'll fill you in on all the details coming up later on in the show, but we start today's show really with the smorgasbord of NBA topics, because a lot did transpire over the weekend, and then there's a lot of rumors before we get underway for this NBA draft that comes your way on Thursday night. Let me start you off with the Bradley Beal trade. The Washington Wizards basically got nothing for Bradley Beal, because you know Chris Paul's gonna land somewhere else, okay? You get Landry Shammett, and then pretty much a bunch of irrelevant draft picks, but the other side of it from the Phoenix Suns angle, I don't dislike the trade, but I'm not sitting here, and I'm not gonna start predicting and proclaiming that now the Phoenix Suns are the best team in the NBA, and they're the best team in the Western Conference, because sure, you have Kevin Durant, you have Devin Booker, now you have Bradley Beal, but there's a lot of similarities with those three players, and I look at Kevin Durant, he's fantastic, he's phenomenal, can he stay healthy?

Bradley Beal, a really, really, really good player, but the last two years hasn't been able to stay healthy, and I don't believe that DeAndre Ayton is going to be on this team come the fall. If he is, and they find a way to get that, then that's actually a good thing, and we'll see if a new coach and Frank Vogel can turn around the career and change the opinions that are being formed about DeAndre Ayton, which it's been a real rollercoaster ride, where at first it looked like he was going to be a bust, and the year they go to the finals, he started to prove okay, he's looking like a guy that was worth the number one overall pick, and then whatever transpired the last two years between him and Monty Williams, everyone's done a complete 180 on DeAndre Ayton, but I'm looking at this Phoenix Suns team, yes it's a good core, it's a really good foundation, when you have Kevin Durant, and you have Bradley Beal, and you have Devin Booker, but is there going to be any defense played on this team? And I hate to give that cliche kind of generic take of there's only one basketball, but there is only one basketball, and you have a lot of guys on that team, your three quote-unquote stars, that do the do similar things, so I'm not going nuts, I'm not delirious over the fact that the Phoenix Suns ended up getting Bradley Beal, it's a move that you make Kevin Durant, who is the president, the coach, the assistant coach, the general manager, the star player, he's everything in Phoenix, that's what happens when Kevin Durant goes to your team. He wanted Devin Booker, but I'm not in love with this deal, but then once again I don't hate it, because you gave basically nothing up to go get the guy, and in this stage of his career, I'd much rather have Bradley Beal on my basketball team, than I would Chris Paul, who's past his prime, and is not going to win in this league. So the Suns in a open league now, and I don't consider Phoenix to be a super team, I see people call this a super team, this is not the the big three of the Boston Celtics, this is not the big three in Miami, when it was LeBron, Wade, and Bosh, this is not Golden State, when you already had a really damn good team, a historical team, and the next thing you know, you had Kevin Durant. This is a team that can be great, they have some great players, but I'm not intimidated by this team right now, because we need to see how they fill out the rest of the roster. Yes, they improved, because you look back at the playoffs, we were talking about the Suns as this team that has two stars, and they need to reshape and retool this roster. Adding Bradley Beal is a plus, but what else are you going to do? Like if you ask me right now, Zach, do you trust Denver or do you trust Phoenix more?

What's the answer? It's easily Denver. With the Koliokic, who's unstoppable, and Jamal Murray, first year back, didn't even play a full season, he wins an NBA championship, and was an imperative part of that. So, solid move by Phoenix, okay move by Phoenix, more of a plus than a negative, but let's pump the brakes here with some of the takes that I'm hearing, that now they're the favorite in the Western Conference.

Why? You got three really good players. You got like two and a half when you look at a super team here, but I don't know if Durant's going to stay healthy, I don't know if Beal's going to stay healthy, and who's playing defense? Like Hickey, I don't know what your take is on this, but do you now look at the Phoenix Suns as this super team and this force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference?

And you've been the last two years a lot more optimistic and a lot more positive about the Phoenix Suns than I have. Yeah, I hate this trade. I hate this trade because they didn't need another star. They didn't need a guy who has a very similar skill set to what they already have in Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. They needed depth. They needed defense. They needed more than, you know, two players that are going to be on salaries that are higher than right now what it's going to be like the league of minimal, and that's exactly what they're going to do now. They're filling out the roster with three guys that are getting max deals and everyone else is going to be off the scrap heap.

They didn't need that. They needed what the Nuggets have, where you have two stars and they have also really good depth around them to help supplement this team. We started in the playoffs. Durant was really good. Booker was historic and I should say had a career great playoff run for him and they couldn't get out of the second round because they had no one else outside of them and now you're all you're doing is tripling down and basically the style that lost you the second round of the playoffs to the Nuggets don't like it at all. And also let's look at Kevin Durant ever since leaving Golden State. He tried in Brooklyn to form that super team.

It didn't work. Now he goes to Phoenix. He's trying to form this super team and create the super team and I can't sit here and lock anything up and tell you that this team is definitely going to the NBA Finals this upcoming year and as great as Durant has been, there's always going to be that injury concern and Bradley Beal has injury concerns as well, but to hear you be worried because usually I know your playbook by now. You dig your heels in deep, you talk to you talk up a team, you you've been loving Phoenix and then it takes everything in the power to have have you be critical of something to hear you say that you thought they shouldn't have traded for Bradley Beal when they really give up nothing to get him, but it's going to eliminate them from probably shaping out the rest of the roster and getting more depth pieces and I like the way that you kind of said it.

Yes, it's a splash move, but just because it's a splash move doesn't mean that you go win a championship. You may win the the off-season headlines, but doesn't mean that will translate on to the basketball court and now you look around and you wonder especially with everything going on with the the changes in the CBA, how are they going to fill out the rest of this roster and get the role players that you're going to need just in your own conference to beat out a team like let's say the defending champions in the Denver Nuggets who you look at their roster, you have Jokic, you have Murray, you have Gordon, you have Michael Porter Jr, you got Bruce Brown, Christian Brown, you have a really solid team in Denver that just won a championship. So yeah, the Suns may have the stars, but just because you have the stars doesn't mean you have the chemistry and the synergy and the right other pieces to go win a championship. When I look at this team, if all goes right, I kind of think those stars can only take you so far and it would not surprise me if the Suns are in the Western Conference Finals, but I don't see this team with the way that it's currently constructed getting to an NBA Finals or winning an NBA Championship extra. I agree especially because again we talk about the depth and lack thereof it and now you get a guy in Bradley Beale, very similar to Kevin Durant, trouble staying on the court. So if one or both are hurt, you got no one else to come in and play well and then what are you going to do?

Then you're really screwed. All right, let's get to a few other NBA topics. The Golden State Warriors today should be looking up at the sports gods.

They should drop down on both knees and they should say thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. That is what they should do because Draymond Green is reportedly opting out of his $27.5 million dollar player option. You if you are Golden State with the new GM, new president of basketball operations Mike Dunleavy Jr. with Bob Myers now out, who we know Bob Myers is no longer running this team because he didn't have the heart to tell Draymond we don't want you back or maybe tell Klay we're going to look to move you or we're going to need you to, we'll sign you to an extension but it can't be for the max because remember Bob Myers so tight with these guys that one of those championships you never want to be that guy that has to start to break up and tear down the house of that dynastic core to elongate the championship window for Steph Curry who we all know Steph Curry's still an elite player but the way that this roster is currently constructed it is not great enough to expect to win a championship and all Draymond had to do was snap his fingers and say I'm opting in and then he's on your team next year but Draymond Green opting out should be a blessing for the Golden State Warriors and if I'm running the Warriors I'm telling Draymond Green we'll raise your number in the rafters one day we'll put you in the Warriors Hall of Fame but we are not interested in bringing you back because if you look at the way that team is constructed the way the money is also already dished out you look at a guy like Jordan Poole who got punched in the mouth by Draymond Green they could no longer coexist for Draymond Green he was really good for what they did for so many years but now the juice is no longer worth the squeeze and I would rather allocate my resources in finding a replacement for Draymond and looking to find a way to get Jordan Poole to be somewhat back to the level where they won the championship and people were talking about him as a third splash brother Draymond was wonderful for what the Warriors did in the past but if you want to win another championship with Steph you need to break up this dynastic core and it starts by getting this blessing that you got today and not finding a way to extend Draymond Green and give him a contract the Warriors hickey need to say goodbye to Draymond Green and I hope for their case because I like this Golden State team I love Steph Curry I hope they don't find a way to bail Draymond out and give him a deal because that would be stupid if they did well you hear everything the Warriors are saying it seems like it's going to happen well we'll see they are seemingly all in on bringing them back it's one thing to say that now and it's one thing to say nice things and then in the 11th hour yeah we're getting a divorce hear the divorce papers we don't want you back anymore you believe Draymond Green will definitely be back with the Golden State Warriors I would say yes and your reasoning is why they want him back like they've given me no indication that they are not bringing him back with this new management that's in now or let me say this Bob Meyers not calling the shot they have every way to avoid bringing him back and you are right in terms of they defend Draymond when you shouldn't goes after Kevin Durant you slap him on the wrist assaults that's what that was I hate to sound like Adam Schefter but he assaulted Jordan Poole ah not a big deal I don't get why you would continue to defend this guy if if I'm running that team you don't pay someone what they did off the pass it's not always easy you pay them of what they could do moving forward into the future and Draymond Green because of his petulant behavior derailed this season and what this season could be because when they won a championship they didn't even play their best brand of basketball their last championship so you don't even need to be great in the NBA right now to win a championship you can be very good and win a championship but in that locker room I don't think it will ever work again with Draymond Green and Jordan Poole and if you're bringing Draymond back and I'm Jordan Poole I'm saying I'm out I'm gone trade me find another destination and we'll see if they do that and when we gear up for the draft coming up on Thursday after seeing Victor Juan Binyama be the number one overall pick to the San Antonio Spurs sure what's going to happen with the second and third pick but the big conversation is will Damian Lillard still be on the Portland Trail Blazers and Kevin O'Connor is reporting that the Trail Blazers reportedly prefer Zion Williamson over Brandon Graham in a potential trade for the number three pick so that is per Kevin O'Connor so if the Trail Blazers want to try to keep Dame there and Dame wants to stay there and they want to bring in Zion Williamson they could get him they'll give out the third overall pick and you get a running mate for Dame Lillard but Hickey if I'm Dame Lillard and they bring in Zion Williamson I'm not doing back flips because you want someone to be available and Zion Williamson unless if it's off the court in the bedroom never appears to be available but you need him for basketball manners that guy is M.I.A. he missed an entire season because of injury and the guy barely plays in the three years that he's been actually allowed to get on a basketball court so if it's that easy where Dame gets Zion Williamson and then he says okay I want to stay shame on Damian Lillard is the way that I look at that. I wish I could argue against you but I'm with you just because you're right Zion has a lot of talent and I'm going to use a word you hate in the word ceiling but he in the word ceiling but he still has a very high ceiling but the issue is when you're playing 35 percent of your game so far through four years you can't be trusted if you're Lillard especially with a window that's closing you can't be that kind of banking on that guy who's never around to kind of be the finishing piece here in Portland to help give you hope that you're going to win a championship. Now there was that report last week that the Pelicans are looking to move up so their preference according to Shams Sharania that the Pelicans want Scoot Henderson so if Henderson is going let's just say two then they're gonna have to move up to two if he's still there at three then you could go get a deal done but on the other end the Hornets who had the second pick according to Shams the Pelicans haven't called the Hornets and offered Zion for number two pick but the Pelicans want Scoot Henderson and he's told that the Hornets would want Brandon Ingram so you could have a situation where the Pelicans move up to two then it affects the number three pick in terms of Dame saying oh you didn't get me someone that I could say could be a star and a running mate to help me go win a championship and that could force Damian Lillard wanting out. Dame do myself a favor yeah do yourself a favor there isn't an option that I think will transpire before Thursday or on Thursday night that will make you say I will I should want to stay in Portland if you stay in Portland at this point and I love the city of Portland I vacation there it is awesome you get the double happy hour which is phenomenal there the hiking in Multnomah Falls I love Portland I would love to see Dame win a championship there Dame's one of my favorite players in the league but if Damian Lillard is serious about winning a championship when he still has a prime window stop giving Portland the benefit of the doubt because they constantly burn you and nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing will happen from now until the draft that should make Damian Lillard say ah now I see a vision now we're closer to actually winning a championship so it's almost at the point now Hickey where it's shame on Dame if he keeps on giving Portland the benefit of the doubt because all you need to do is say I want out and they will work with you to trade you and most likely you would get traded to the Miami Heat and then you'll be paired with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo and we know that Miami needs the help they could get to the championship twice with Jimmy but they need another dominant player they need a dominant scorer to raise that Larry O'Brien trophy again and it is a perfect marriage and if Dame can't recognize that and if he can't realize that once again shame on Dame Hickey. Behind door A is you and Zion behind door B is you and Jimmy Butler let's say bare minimum in the east versus the west it's very simple the path to choose is very simple just choose the right path. Now I don't know if Damian Lillard is married I may have to check into that but if he isn't married you may want to go hang out with Zion Williamson because it seems like he likes to sleep around to many different places he could be fun to have as a wingman. Although he does get himself in trouble so maybe he's maybe not the best I don't say role model maybe the best guy to hang out with maybe you want to find someone else who's a little more subtle and you may keep his affairs in order. I think Dame did get married on a quick google search in in 2021 so even more reason to go hang out with Jimmy Butler in the minivan and also listen to some country and then go chill on South Beach. We all know about the homophobic comments that Bob Huggins did make about a month ago on a radio show and that got him suspended a few games it also made him lose a million dollars on his salary and I guess since the latest infraction we'll get to in just a second it was revealed that pretty much his contract turned into a year to year a year by year type of basis for the now former head men's basketball coach at West Virginia and then over the weekend we've all seen the story and now he's out as he did resign as the head basketball coach at West Virginia that Bob Huggins was driving under the influence. The criminal complaint says that Bob Huggins blew a point to one and he had empty beer cans in a trash bag in his passenger side foreboard and in his trunk. Now Bob Huggins did have a DUI back in 2004. If Bob Huggins has a drinking problem I don't know if he does or doesn't. I hope he gets the help and I could have sympathy for him in that regard but when you are a basketball coach and you have made that much money and I don't care how much money you make but when you've made that much money and you're driving drunk I just don't have sympathy for you that now you've had to resign because of this instance. I don't. My mother she is lucky to be alive she was once hit head on by a drunk driver when she was growing up so if you drink and drive I don't have sympathy for you and especially in this day and age of Uber and especially when you've made a lot of money in your career call a friend get a taxi get an Uber there's no reason why you should be drinking and driving because Bob Huggins actually is lucky today because Bob Huggins could have hurt somebody else or could have hurt himself when you're driving around and on a breathalyzer you had a 0.21 blood alcohol level and you have beer cans all over your car so I don't want to hear oh it's terrible for Bob Huggins today that he's no longer coaching and I was a fan of Bob Huggins. I used to love watching Bob Huggins basketball teams but whether you're the coach of the basketball team or not and this goes from anyone listening to this radio program and yours truly if you are drinking it's very simple you don't drive because I'll say it again Bob Huggins is extremely lucky that he did not hurt himself or hurt somebody else so I don't want to hear today oh we need to celebrate Bob Huggins or oh Bob Huggins this is an unfortunate ending to his career what has transpired the last two months he only has himself to blame he only has himself to blame and it's flat out embarrassing for a guy that is supposed to be a role model and for a guy that walks into living rooms and tells parents I'm basically going to be your kid's college father and your kid's going to be safe with me and you have that coach making homophobic comments where he didn't lose his job for hey take away a million dollars in salary spending for three games and then shortly after that you're drinking and driving sorry no sympathy for Bob Huggins if he has a drinking problem I hope he gets help I do but when you get behind the wheel and you are intoxicated you are fortunate that you did not hurt anybody else because this could have been a whole lot worse so I don't want to hear the pity party today for Bob Huggins oh it's cancel culture oh it's this oh it's that the guy was a moron he he has acted like a moron the last few months and I always enjoyed his basketball teams he'd sit on that stool yell his teams are always tough I get it you could love what he accomplished in the sport but there's no defending what he did the last few months and I was talking about this on the golf course when we found out about this and I was talking to a few people that I was playing golf with and right away do you think he's going to survive here and you could have made the case that he should have lost his job after the comments he made on the radio show but then when you immediately follow that back up drinking and driving and you've already had that infraction happen once before back in 2004 I don't see if you're running West Virginia and I know college athletics could be corrupt and many programs cover up things for the sake of the program and for winning and because they pay the guy a lot of money and I know sometimes people think that this is just like lame what I'm about to say but how could that guy with what he's done the last month month and a half go into living rooms recruit and say that I'll be able to make sure that your kid gets the best guidance in college how can you say that you're irresponsible all you needed to do you survived the homophobic comments all you needed to do was to not get in trouble call an uber that's all you need to do call an uber I don't want to hear any excuses for Bob Huggins it's a joke that he's drinking and driving it is ridiculous and I know I'll sound like a broken record record player he's lucky he's not dead and he's lucky he didn't kill anybody else when you get into the specifics and you read that report and you know I just shared I've shared this before when the Henry Ruggs incident happened as well which was disgusting and despicable I said this on the air before I'll say it again my mother when she was extremely young you know a teenager she was driving went right through the windshield went right through the windshield and is lucky to be alive because some jackass was driving drunk and hit her head on Bob Huggins is lucky he did not injure somebody's mother he's lucky he didn't injure a child he's lucky he didn't injure himself so I'm not going to sit here today and say oh Bob Bob Huggins who's a basketball hall of famer great guy and a great career and wonderful moment he could have got a great send-off but the dude acted like an idiot the last two months and you know what there's no good send-off for Bob Huggins because everything he's done recently could have been avoidable and the only one he has to blame is himself and I'll make it crystal clear once again if he has a drinking problem I hope he gets help but when you have the money that he has call an uber it's that simple Day before but now a father of three how was the latest Father's Day for you it was fine it was good I always kind of joke Father's Day is not like a real holiday for fathers I mean it's fine it's not like I'm complaining it's cool but everybody always kind of is like so what did you do did you get the whole day to pamper like the hell are you talking about you got little kids no they don't care so how old is your child now less than a month I got a nine-year-old a three-year-old and a three-week-old yeah I feel like if you didn't really just have a third child you could maybe find a way now and with the two kids to say dad needs a little alone time or sit on the couch and pretend to have some quiet but when you just have a newborn you're not getting any newborn there's no chance but honestly try to explain to a three-year-old that you need to do anything like no it's not gonna happen bring you a little breakfast and better or get you a nice little gift or something no I mean again it was nice don't get me wrong but it's the idea that like now you get a chance to just sit in front of the TV and maybe you know get a burger and like get the hell out of here like no you don't have a chance do any of that stuff sounds like Marco's gonna start asking for more shifts around here you get older when they get older then it's fine kids get older they understand they'll do whatever I mean they'll give you breakfast they'll give you a car whatever the case is but they'll leave you alone if you need it or whatever let dad watch the game whatever the hell it is when they're as young as mine are I can't explain to a three-year-old that it's father's day other than she said happy father's day to me after her mother told her to other than that it was daddy this and daddy that she doesn't know and you're not a big golf guy right like you weren't all tuned into the US Open oh to watch no not really no I'll be honest we had a couple things we had to do with family and some birthdays and kind of mix them all together and get home I joked with Hickey I said show you how much of a father's day the Yankees played twice and I would have liked to have at least watched a little bit of the game I didn't see five minutes of either game I wound up watching the good dinosaur last night because my son wanted to watch it and my daughter went on okay great so I'm watching the good dinosaur instead of watching the Yankees get their ass kicked by the Red Sox did you at least get some good ice cream cake at this family outing that you guys had because a good ice cream cake brings all together wasn't ice cream but it was a decent cake it was it was a pretty good game decent cake that means no ice cream well it wasn't ice cream but it was pretty good it was pretty good I mean I didn't buy it I got my brother-in-law a big fat ice cream cake from from Carvel big whale no no it wasn't a fudgy the whale case they got that thing yes they did I looked at it but I feel like that joke is kind of now a little bit old and you get someone a fudgy the whale cake I don't know if it's a joke that's a I haven't had in a long time it was a damn good cake that's what I remember from it it's a solid cake but I got the a medium and it was a large size cake a sheet cake and it had like a blue pink flower on it the inside it was vanilla outside chocolate on the inside and had some of those like cookie crumbles on the side of it very good delicious I mean how could you go wrong it's it's ice cream no you can't especially on a somewhat hot day you can't screw it by nothing to see here don't worry no big deal no big deal the Mets are going to be fine and you keep on thinking that this team is a good team are you ready my friend to wave the white flag and say that this season is over because the fat lady I heard her singing last night when it came to this met season they just lost two out of three to the cardinals the cardinals stink this is not a great year for the st louis cardinals and you look at the wildcard standings right now the Mets in the Mets in the national league have the fourth worst record in the national league hickey problem problem problem you were saying crisis averted it's not this met season is over or you're still a sucker for this team well I will say when you say the fourth worst record they're still closer to the wildcard aren't they than they are last place oh stop this is the issue of the baseball season stop if you want to call it an issue it's too long we're on june 19th I can't say it's over I can't I've seen now in recent memory the nationals go 19 and 31 win the world series yeah the braves under 500 at the all-star break another month from now go on to win the world series the phillies were left for dead I couldn't tell you how many times last year get hot in September go to the world series where's the talent on this this is a situation where the Mets right now right now are not a good baseball team I will we are in agreement there they stink rock bottom I wish I could say it's rock bottom but I think I've said even though this clip is just otherwise I think I've said and called rock bottom like three different times this season so far so it's been a situation where I keep thinking okay the worst is behind them and they still rewrite how bad it could get but with that said no I absolutely do not think this season's over I'm not saying this team is is dead um do you supply Scherzer's AARP card just wondering well that he is absolutely concerned that is the one guy where I think I may be ready to write off did you shave Lindor's head because that's been the biggest contribution he's had to this team has been a new haircut I did not I did not shave his head hopefully he learns how to bat lefty that's a little bit of a problem right now but this team has talent they're not playing up to the level that they should I'm hoping it turns around I still believe they'll turn around but right now it has been ugly but we still get a deep run in recent memory we have seen plenty of ugly starts in May June and even into July and things turn around so I'm not ready to write them off they're not dead yet gotcha you heard it here first oh yeah I said it a month ago that this is gonna that was the one that turned it around now I'm walking it back in a sense that they're not dead yet absolutely not back at all you're done here's what I'll admit that was not the one that turned the season around that I can safely say that May 17th a month ago that went over the Rays in which they were down three big three on home run and then a walk-off and two on home run or whatever it was that win itself did not turn the season around so I did go to Bob's Bar on Friday which is a great station event DA and company DA, Mraz, Bogus, Bilotti, Cap, everyone behind the scenes as well did a phenomenal job we had listeners drive in from Alabama fly in from Vancouver it was just a really great event with awesome people and I always say this about CBS Sports Radio we are a national network but compared to the other two national radio networks we give you a local feel we give you a family feel as well the best way a national network can and that was evidenced by this event I had people I was parking cars because I lost the bet I had to dress up as Matt ruled Nebraska head football coach and I had a listener pull up this family that was driving in from Detroit big Michigan football fans so they bring you up and I'm thinking they're going to trash it and they go I like hickey I like his taste in peanut butter and so that was a win for hickey but then DA once the show ended this was unprovoked DA comes up to me and he goes we need to film a video today trashing hickey because he heard you say that you were insulted that you didn't get an invite and you felt like you were above Bob's bar here is DA crushing you on Friday off the air you can see this video on maintenance you can't be high maintenance yet not before you're super you curse on the air you can't come to Bob's bar I think it's a bad look for you you know you're hungry in this industry you're trying to make a you're trying to make a big name for yourself I told you on Thursday night that it would be a bad look if you didn't show up now you're getting the high maintenance tag from DA who maybe a little high maintenance himself so he may know what it's like to be high maintenance but he's calling you high maintenance because you didn't show up to Bob's bar what do you have to say for yourself I think it's a bad look for you one proper punishment and I think I deserve it I think I can I have to relinquish my bad boy radio title stop it I think it has to go to da stop it I just there was a lot of listeners asking for you I just oh that is a lot of people were saying to me where's hickey where's hickey why didn't he show up why didn't he show up I thought that would have been good for the brand of hot take hickey and you basically gave a middle finger to not only da but to the listening audience by not showing up that's a bad job out of you I just I didn't I'm not a part of the show I thought like I just didn't want to not take away any steam but stop their event it's their show I didn't want to make it about me by showing up not that it like just I don't know I felt like you are a part of the show you did the pics you obviously lost the bet people know you like they didn't know me so I just I felt weird walking in and observing I think I give you good advice sometimes it's misleading in terms of I want to see you fall flat on your face from time to time sometimes just on the air when it gets to leading you down a road of maybe knowing that you're going to make a prediction that's going to ultimately be wrong but when it comes to your career on and off the air I always look out for the best interest of my guy hot take hickey and I was insulted that I gave you some sage advice earlier in the week and on Thursday and I thought you would surprise me and show up and do what was right but you didn't so you know what next year when this rolls around I think you got to be there by the way real quickly John Moran suspended 25 games we'll delve into this more later I was surprised there was only 25 games of Adam Silver let him off easily but if this is just a little appetizer to show you that John Moran and his team haven't learned the lesson at all I have heard indirectly that Ja and people close to Ja perhaps people formerly close to Ja have this feeling that the NBA is out to get them that is from Tim McMahon they think that the media is out to get them too you've been the guy that has been broadcasting yourself with the gun that actually may be a toy gun when we see a video that it was kind of like a blow torch but why is a 23 year old using a toy gun Ja has done this all himself and Adam Silver I thought was going to drop the hammer on him after he lied to him and said this would never happen again I'm a role model all that blah blah blah blah blah I have to only give him an eight game suspension shortly after that you have another act you only get 25 games and then the response from either him or people close to him is yeah everyone's out to get us it would not surprise me and I hope something does not go seriously
