During this time, The Salvation Army would like to share additional messages of encouragement with you from some of our shows' hosts. In this message, Meagan Hofer (HEARTBEAT), shares some advice on three things you can do right now to experience more peace.
Hi this is Chris Benjamin, the director for the Salvation Army sound as we want to take this opportunity to share some additional messages of encouragement with you from some of our hosts from shows like 24th of life in a heartbeat.
We just pray that these are an extra blessing to you.
If they are please share them with a friend, Douglas offer some words of encouragement to US which is why our new normal. Looks like you may be feeling overwhelmed or anxious. I did not create us to live in here. Why did look a bit different.
His promises are still true. I know that time and time again got shot up in my life. On my darkest days and just need is a faithful, loving God and so I think it's important that when feeling those thoughts and anxiousness are just scared or overwhelmed that we just take time to refocus… So I just wanted to share three things that I think may be helpful for you when you need to get out of your head and refocus what you're thinking some one could just be writing down things that you are thankful for taking the time maybe sharing your social media channels or just write down in a journal. Three things you're thankful for when we focus on our blessings versus our worries.
I really just reset how are you feeling separately be the sunshine reach out to someone and begot someone in your hearts and in the textbased time or a Facebook message. Just let them know that there being thought of really just brighten someone's day and lastly, take into God's word in Scripture filled with just wisdom of strength for us to get the right day I just so much hope are wrapped in all throughout the Bible of God's faithfulness so I thought I'd share one verse that over the years is really meant a lot to me when I am feeling overwhelmed and anxious, and it's in Philippians chapter 4 verse eight brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy about such things so cling to what is good, cling to the hope that we have in Jesus and just know that you're not your and hopefully will be up to share more with you again.
