All right. One of the big lies that they all told about, you know, NBC. By the way, you see that those people, that their ratings are falling. CNN or CSN, CNN and PMS, NBC and all that, their ratings are falling so rapidly. They can no longer be referred to as the mainstream media folks.
That's why they're calling themselves the legacy media there. But they all lied about Trump. Trump had ordered 20,000 National Guard to D.C. on January 6th. He was betrayed by Mark Milley, another example of treason. Pelosi, the Mayor Bowser there, and Chuck Schumer was all, they were all involved in canceling those guys. They were all involved in canceling those guards. Those, that's charges and I don't care if, that's treason.
And I don't know if Biden can pardon people from treason. But anyhow, now, John, there's something very strange happening with this thing with Tulsi Gabbard. You see how they, all of a sudden they said, we're going to resume her confirmation, her hearings in private, in a private session. And then they told her, you are to go to a certain place. And then the Speaker there said, and everybody remained seated until she leaves.
In other words, don't get up. It was a very strange thing, almost like he was saying, let her leave here, like they were going to protect her from people in the room. That's the opinion I got. What do you know about all that? Well, Pastor Ernie, I was not aware of that. What I was aware of was her introduction, like she gives an introductory statement, was incredible. It was absolutely incredible. And the answers that she gave, I mean, she laid out all of the, what the CIA, how it did things absolutely wrong, and got us in, like Iraq she brought out, and got us in wars. It was incredible the way she laid it out, Pastor Ernie. So, but I did, that's as far as I got.
What you're saying now, I was not aware of. Well, they had kept trying to get her to say that Snowden was a traitor, that Snowden was a traitor. And she didn't take the bait.
She wouldn't do it. They kept trying to make her say that. And so, here now, she blew the whistle on Obama giving 50 million, Obama gave 50 million to Al Qaeda to overthrow the Syrian government. And so, she blew the whistle on that. Jake Sullivan said to Hillary Clinton that Al Qaeda is on our side, okay. And so, she testified to that.
They didn't want all this stuff getting out, okay. Right, Pastor, and he was jaw-dropping what she was saying. Absolutely.
Okay, so. John, what do you think about Tulsi Gabbard? I like her. As far as I know about her, I mean, I like her. I think she's a breath of fresh air. She was a Democrat, but when she saw this, she actually said the Democrats are nothing but warmongers. Remember that, Pastor Ernie?
Yeah. And she left them. She left the Democrat party. She didn't become a Republican right away. And she was like an independent. Now, she is a Republican now. But as far as I can tell, I mean, I really like her. She's sharp as can be.
Yeah, so, anyhow, let's go into here. They were saying how she was pro-death, pro-death. Of course, no decent Republican would confirm someone was pro-death.
And that's what they said about RFK Jr., too. But now, he's coming out with all of this pro-life stuff that he's going to do, okay. To stop abortion. He said every abortion is a tragedy, and God cannot bless a country that kills one and a half million children a year. So it looks like he's turned for at least what they said he was.
I know that JFK was pro-life, was very pro-life. Now, you see how Cash Patel said that he would investigate Judge Juan with Sean's daughter. She made $15 million off Trump's indictment. She was paid. Her organization was paid. $15 million?
Right. If Trump was... They were fundraisers for the Democrat Party, and they were running off... Her father was the judge. So she was running this business, like, from what her father was doing and making appearances together and things like that. She earned $15 million off that? She was paid. She raised an enormous amount of money. She raised an enormous amount of money. She was paid by those on the left $15 million if her father were to convict Trump.
Now, I mean, this is out now. This is going to come back on him now, and Cash Patel says if he's the head of the FBI, he's going to investigate, open an investigation into this. This is why these people are so nervous right now. And the other good thing is, too, is Mike Johnson now has appointed a new committee to investigate the J-6 committee. Everyone on that J-6 committee, Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, what's his name, the fellow from North Carolina, oh, the black guy. I don't know his name, but the one guy from Illinois, he cried all the time.
Oh, yeah. Kinzinger? Adam Kinzinger? Kinzinger, yeah. Yeah, he was crying like a baby.
Yeah. But all of those people on there, they're going to be investigating, and they all ran to Biden for... Now, remember what Biden has said earlier. Biden has said to get a pardon is an omission of guilt.
Now, here's how it's going to work this time, though. But since, John, they have been pardoned, they're compelled. They can't claim the fifth. They're compelled to testify even against themselves. And if they refuse to testify, they can go to jail for that in Johnson. Yeah, right. Contempt the court, yeah, in all right.
Yeah, in Johnson. Well, what happens, Pastor Ernie, is let's say Cheney, she's being charged, and she wants to claim Biden's pardon. She has to go before the judge, and before the pardon can be implemented, she has to agree. She has to plead guilty to the charges, Pastor Ernie. That's what the Supreme Court is doing. All right.
Yeah, she has to go before a judge and plead guilty, and then the judge will, you know, implement the pardon, the presidential pardon. I'm going to open the phone lines, and then I've got some other questions to ask. So the phone lines are now open at 888-677-9673. That's 888-677-9673.
The phone lines are now open. Now, here, my train of thought. What was it? I just lost my train of thought. I just had a question I wanted to ask him on this.
But so, oh, yeah, I know what it is. So why do you think? Because Trump has made the point. Several times he said Biden did not pardon himself. Biden did not pardon himself, okay? Because Biden has said to pardon himself would be an admission of guilt that he'd done something wrong. He didn't do anything wrong.
I forget where I heard it, but there's some kind of, I think, whoever, I forget where I heard it. So I don't want to give the wrong information, but somehow I think he's still pardoned. Well, no, the president under executive orders, executive privilege, while he's in office, you know, cannot be charged while he is in office. While he is in office he can't be charged with a crime. And what he does, too, if it's official government business. But treason is not official government business. Treason is not, okay? And so he has committed high treason. Look, the guy brought in 20 million illegals into this country. The man brought in terrorists.
And we're going to be hearing from all of them, okay? What this guy did was horrible. He turned the federal government into the world's largest child sex trafficking organization. So, John, what do you think, why don't you think that he pardoned himself? This is, I read an article, I think he's actually still pardoned.
I'll try to find it. Well, Pastor Ernie, he could never stand trial. I mean, he's demented up, his mind is gone. You remember when the, what was his, the inspector general there? When? When?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no, when it was Orr. It was Orr. Orr.
Nelly Orr? Yeah, it was an oriental name, I remember the guy was an oriental. And he said that he couldn't put charges on him because he's 80-something and he can't, his faculties, mental faculties are gone. And so he said I couldn't, they couldn't charge him with anything. But yet, he could still be functioned as the President of the United States, but they couldn't charge him with a crime because he'd never get convicted.
And his mental faculties are gone. Did you know that the Democratic Party now is the most unpopular party in the history of the United States, in the entire history, since polling began, the Democratic Communist Party is the most unpopular political party in the history of the United States right now. Did you know that?
That's an all-time low. Well, look at their media supporters. You know, they own MSNBC and CNN and ABC and look how they're collapsing. Do you know Wretched Mad Cow? Trump is saying that Wretched Mad Cow is going to be, she's going to be canned.
And one of the, because her ratings are dropping off, her ratings are going down the tube. But do you know what they pay at Wretched Mad Cow? I know it's big bucks faster and it's millions and millions every year. Thirty, thirty million dollars a year. She's the second highest paid. Do you know who the highest paid one out there is?
No. It's Sean Hannity. Sean Hannity. He makes 45 million a year. And so, that's more than they make, than you and I make combined, huh, John? A little bit more, Best Ernie. A little bit more. Yeah.
A whole lot more. All right. Listen. Mr. Ernie, you mentioned Sean Hannity. I mean, I still can't, the 20,000 election, and he was like a traitor in it.
You know what I mean? He wouldn't stand, the evidence is all out there, and we know behind the scenes, Fox News and all of them were getting paid millions of dollars to keep a bit in the mouth of their news anchors. But he, and the same thing with COVID, all that evidence was out there, and he didn't – Yeah, he was on the wrong side of COVID, but he was behind Trump, as far as I can see. No, not that 2020 election, Best Ernie. You mean to tell me – 2020 election, yeah, January 6th, excuse me, January 6th. I know, Brett Baird.
Yeah, well, yeah, okay. Brett Baird was anti – he was an anti-Trumper, and he was adamant about there was no election fraud, and you're right, but you're right, it was the January 6th, not the 2020 election, because he was behind Trump. I mean, I watched, you know, listened to what he had to say, but you're right, he wasn't – I mean, for the last week of the election being stolen, all of them ran. They ran. Yeah, I know. We didn't run, though, did we?
No. And the election was stolen. That still sticks in my mind when I look at him, and now he's right up there with Trump. And I remember – what's his name – Pence on his show.
I was driving one day. The only time I ever listened to him is when I'm driving in the car and have the radio on. And Pence, when he was interviewing Pence, and he was fawning all over him, oh, I mean, look, if you decide you're going to run, let me know first. I'll get you back on this show and all.
Come on, Pastor Ernie, come on. Did you see Pence at the – when Pence came into the inaugural, did you see that? Yes, I watched – yes, I did. When he walked in, they booed him. The place stood up and booed him.
Yeah. And his face was red. Pence's wife would not speak to Trump. And then after him, Obama came in, and the booing was even louder.
Okay. And then came Bill and Hillary. And then that hit the highlight. The booing was all the way up there at that time.
Yeah. But – I missed that part. So anyhow – And Pastor Ernie, I thought Franklin Graham's invocation there was excellent. And then afterwards, the ones that gave the benediction there, I thought they were excellent. They were – and they were standing – Biden was right there. As they were speaking the Word of God, they could touch Biden. He was right there next to him, Pastor Ernie.
Yeah, I know. But Franklin Graham was talking about what Trump went through all these years, and there's Biden right next to him as he's speaking. Well, now, remember the Duma, the speaker of the Duma? What did he have to say in Russia? He made an announcement here about Biden. The Russians, their security, they had – that Biden had attempted, wanted to try to kill both Putin and Trump.
Yes. Yeah, he's the equivalent of the speaker of the House in the Russian government. And he came out and said that Biden tried to kill Putin and Trump, tried to assassinate both of them.
Well, you know, I think I believe him, because you've seen what's happened to Trump. You know, isn't it just – you saw what a sloppy job that the Secret Service did, right, when Trump was shot in the ear? That's beyond sloppy, Pastor Ernie. Well, so it kind of looks like it was a setup, you know, and – Well, let me ask you, Pastor Ernie.
That guy, what was he, 20 years old, that shot Trump? Yeah. His name was Crooks?
Yeah. Have you heard anything about him, Pastor Ernie? Have you ever heard whose contacts were, whose friends were? Did you hear anything about all of those cryptic accounts he had, like, overseas? He was involved in five cryptic, I don't know, groups?
I know he was involved with BlackRock, too. Well, didn't they cremate his body? They didn't do any type of autopsy? Yeah.
They went in right away. They cleaned out his whole house, everything in his room. They removed all his belongings. Pardon? Yeah.
Everything was scrubbed clean in his house. They removed – yeah. So you haven't heard a word about him, Pastor Ernie. Not a word. Why not?
Why not? The guy, that senator that was just appointed in Florida, she replaced Rubio. Yeah. She was speaking, and she worked for the attorney general, or she was the attorney general, in Florida, and she was saying how the FBI and the CIA both absolutely refused to cooperate with Florida in the investigation of the second assassin against Trump. Absolutely. The FBI absolutely refused to work with Florida, give them any information at all. Why not, Pastor Ernie?
Why not? So – Yeah. I believe Biden was behind that, just like I believe Johnson was behind the assassination of JFK. Well, Biden, I mean, he wasn't even there.
I mean, by there, I mean, he didn't even know what day it was. No, he has some times – they used to give him drugs where he has his moments where he can come out and he can be clear, but remember Biden – He was the puppet for the controlled demolition of our country. Biden had said he was going to stop Trump. I'm going to stop him.
I'm not going – he is not going to be a president. I will stop him. And now that would sound like a threat to me. And he also said, I'm going to put a target on him, okay? I'm going to put a target on Trump. So he made two or three, you know, write out actual threats saying, hey, how he was going to stop Trump. So – Pastor, would you like to hear some good news? Yeah, go ahead.
This is what the Trump administration did today. But let me – before you do that, let me get the number out. The lines are open at 888-677-9673, 888-677-9673. Let me know when we get calls, Johnny.
We got two. All righty. Okay.
Go ahead and do it very quickly and then I'm going to take calls. Deep State Crackdown, 50 ex-intelligent operatives, including Brennan, Bolton and Clapper, banned from U.S. facilities by Trump administration due to national security concerns. The Trump administration has issued a directive to ban 50 former intelligence officials, including high-profile figures like John Brennan, John Bolton and James Clapper, from accessing secure U.S. government facilities.
This decision comes after these officials misleadingly characterized Hunter Biden's laptop as Russian disinformation. All right, very good. Who do we have, Johnny? Let's go to Randall out in California. Hey, Randall. Yeah, Randall, you're in the air.
Go ahead. Turn off your radio. I'm doing okay. How are you, Randall? Thank you, Pastor. I'm well and thankful and grateful. You know, I've been following you for a long time. I've been here 65 years, and my birthday was yesterday, and I prayed for you.
Well, thank you very much. Yes, sir, Pastor. And Linda Brown is one in the church. She's 76. And James Dabney is 80, and Bethany.
I've been here 52 years in San Diego. I'm 65 years, and I told you about my health. Well, I met a lady today that helped me with my health care. And God bless her richly and true. Well, praise the good Lord for that, yeah.
You told me it don't matter about your health when you die. What? You're in heaven. I already know that. Yeah. And I'm thankful and grateful. How about you? Yeah.
Well. Yes, sir. And you know what, Ernie? My family grew up with your family in Ohio.
My mother, my aunt. And I'm thankful and grateful. Well, how about that? I got some questions. Do you remember what I asked? You said, iron sharpens iron and fight the good fight. And I asked that.
Are you going to say that on your radio? If you want me to, iron sharpens iron and fight the good fight. Yes, sir.
There you go. And yes, sir. Thank you and grateful and thankful to God. Brother and sister in Christ. Edifies one another in Christ. I'm here to what? Help you and your ministry. Help feed the poor.
I've been here 52 years. I talked to them today. And they said thank you for helping us.
The poor living in the bushes. And I'll tell you what, they love me. And I worked with a couple churches that helped them.
And James Dabney of Bethany on Hollister is 80 years old. Asked me to help his church. And I'm there to help him.
Because the ministry needs every church to edify one another in Christ. Correct? Absolutely. We need to do that. I'm going to have to move on though because we've got other callers. But listen, thanks for calling and God bless you. Keep fighting that fight.
Alrighty. Who's the next? What was that again? Oh, okay. Who would have ever thought Cliff would be calling?
Hey, Cliff, you're in the air. One thing that did make an impression from Job is his friends said, you know, you're intelligent but we are too. You know, so even though they were erroneous, they actually were pretty intelligent.
That's one of the things that we think they're smarter, way smarter than anybody else. But talking about China specifically, I just heard briefly about a top guy from the Fed was arrested for giving trade secrets to China. It was just briefly.
And so I wonder about that. But there's an audiobook called America's Second, which is talking more about how China did not take, like for example, did not allow the U.S. to, for example, put their movies in there to any great degree and various economic aspects. But one interesting chapter was about the Bushes. And Neil Bush had an acronomious divorce with his wife.
And what came out during the trial was that when he was in Hong Kong specifically or in China, there were three separate times where he came back to the hotel or whatever where he had a Chinese woman waiting for him. Which is, I don't think it was a honey trap thing. I think it's, my guess is it would be just like a gratuity. But it does show you how a guy like Sanders, I could doubt that would work with him. But I guess with certain people, that could be part of the program where they are lacking discretion on the business dealings.
You know, it just shows you how the Bushes brought in family members to reap some of the harvest from China monetarily. But, you know, and then I had a question about James stratified briefly. It says he who is in trouble, he should pray. And, you know, relating that to health, it says, you know, if you have a fiscal problem, bring the elders to the church.
But trouble could just erupt any time and it could be very unique or specific. So what do you think of that particular verse where it just puts the onus on the person who is in trouble should just do their own praying to a degree. James chapter 5, what is the verse, do you know? It's a little bit towards the latter part of it. You know, maybe it's around 16 or whatever it is, you know, but...
Okay, let me go, well, let me see, let me just, I'll read 13 through 18. Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry?
Let him sing songs. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up.
And if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your sins one to another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I think maybe that's what you're talking about there. Yeah, well, it could be intercessory, pray for one another, and then it brings in even a larger prayer. So you got two points there, you got like a prayer for maybe one individual and a prayer for, you know, a larger prayer about the rain, which is more of a global type prayer, you know. Okay, that word there, effectual fervent in the Greek, is one word. Energio means energizing.
That's what it's referring to. It's an energizing prayer. The one praying such an energizing prayer is assumed to be the righteous one, both in standing before God and through faith in Christ, and in the practice before God having left no sins of his own, unconfessed or uncorrected.
So that's what he's saying there. He says, best your sins one to another and pray for another that you may be healed. The effectual prayer of a righteous man, that's the one he's referring to there.
Then he says, Elias was a man subject to light passions as we are, and prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And that got old Ahab and Jezebel after him, didn't it? Yeah.
She chased him halfway across the desert, right? Yep, and he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the earth brought forth her fruit. So there you go. I think that's the answer to your question there.
Yeah. Yeah, so I guess one of the points of that would be just a smaller prayer, which is not necessarily smaller, but, you know, just like for one person and then maybe a large or bigger issue. Well, you know, see, there's no limit on what you can pray for. The Bible says pray without ceasing. In other words, you know, you don't have to go into a closet or get on your knees someplace. You can pray all day long. I do that. I stop and, you know, along the way when, you know, I'm hearing something and there's something on the radio, like when you have these, when the planes go down and things like that, accidents, and, you know, I stop and I pray for folks, and we're supposed to do that without ceasing. Well, that goes into he who is afflicted should pray, meaning that, you know, you can't get someone else to consult with on the prayer, and that as trouble arises, which can be just like in the split second something could come up. All right, my friend, very good. Okay.
Pastor, I got a question about this scripture. Are you going to be Joe tonight? I don't know.
We'll see. We'll see what, we'll go with either the German or the Irish. I have to split, you know, I'm half German, half Irish, so that's the Irish side of me. All right, very good. Yeah, yeah.
I mean, St. Patrick's is my favorite day of the year, though, so I'm more partial to the Irish. All right, very good. Okay. You have a good one. Okay.
All right. What was your question there? So, Cliff was asking about verse 17 when Elijah was praying. Elijah was... He was asking about verse 16. Well, both of them, wasn't he?
Smaller and larger issues. Yeah. So, Elijah prayed for the rain to stop because that was the will of God. Yeah. We know that because of what the Bible says in Kings.
Yeah. So, when it comes to issues like this, when it's like, Lord, please have mercy and save America, it all comes back to what's the will of God. And then we know the revealed well-being, it's his will for all of us to repent and obey him, and we were built on a Judeo-Christian foundation, which is an absolute truth, our whole... So, what happens if you pray, if God tells you something, if God says, all right, get your house in order because this time next week you're coming home, you're leaving that world. So, what if you decide, well, you know what, I definitely want to go home, but not right now because before I do that, I want to make sure that I leave so much to my son and that I get all of this stuff done so I leave my family in good shape. So, what happens when you decide and you ask the Lord and you pray and you ask him if he'll give you 15 more years, what usually is the outcome? Well, that's individual-based, but God's able to heal.
Okay. Well, that's big, John. I mean, the key point is that you've got to have your house in order daily. Well, that's true, big John. Like in James, when it says our life is but a vapor, we don't know, don't boast about tomorrow, for you know not what it brings. Big John, what happens in the Scripture, we've seen examples of that when they ask for a few more years, and what usually is the outcome? Well, in the case of, I'm not sure how to answer that, Pastor Ernie, but what comes to mind is with Hezekiah, he had his son Manasseh in that time, and Manasseh, I mean, destroyed Israel. He brought the judgment of God on Israel. So, in that time God gave him, I mean, it was disaster for Israel. It was, and it ended up being a disaster for Manasseh, too, because he was the most wicked of all the kings before him, and remember God's judgment on Manasseh?
Yeah, he ended up getting his eyes poked out. No, that was Hezekiah. Manasseh's hands were there. Well, the key point back to... It said he shed innocent blood from one end of Jerusalem to the other. He sure did.
Alrighty. Well, Hezekiah was considered one of the good kings, and while he was leading, the Scripture says that God was about to judge Judah right then and there, and then God had mercy on him. That's an actual example of hope, because there was, like, a hundred years before the Babylonians conquered Judah, after Hezekiah. What Hezekiah did, emissaries came from Babylon, and Hezekiah was, like, bragging, and he showed them... All the treasure. The armories.
Yeah, everything. And the Lord Isaiah said to Hezekiah, because you've done this, your seed will be eunuchs in Babylon. Well, I mean, before that, however many verses or chapters before that, it talks about how God was going to judge Judah at that point in time, and then because of their repentance, he gave them roughly another hundred years. But Hezekiah, because he allowed them to take Jeremiah and put Jeremiah in the well, and the princes, and he didn't listen to Jeremiah, he should have listened to Jeremiah. Now, you're on Babylon, not Hezekiah. Hezekiah is a hundred years before. You're thinking of Zedekiah. Zedekiah, okay.
Hezekiah was with the Assyrians in the Sennacherim. Yeah. Right. Yeah, I get those two names mixed up.
They kind of sound a little alike, don't they? Alrighty. Who do we have next out there, Johnny? AC in Cleveland. Let's go to AC in Cleveland.
AC, you're in the air. Hello, pastor, chaplain, and crew. Hello.
Hello, brother. Last night, Pastor Sanders, you talked about your trip to Ark Encounter, okay? Oh, yeah. You made several trips there, and you talked about some of the things that you saw as part of the display. They showed you what went on, what life was on, what it was like on the Ark, okay? Yeah.
I'm going to ask you a question, and I'm going to show you where I'm going to go with this. Jesus said that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. He used the analogy of the days of Noah to be a historic parallel to the pre-tribulation rapture. So my question to you is, when you saw the Ark, did they say that there was light on the Ark?
In other words, Noah would have had to have produced, somehow, he would have had to have light on that Ark, right? Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, they did in a sense, well, you know, up on the top, they used the entire top of the Ark to catch water for his water basins, and they used it to clean so they could open up openings in the top of the Ark. The Ark encounter showed potential ways they used mirrors, where the light would come in at an angle, and then they'd reflect it. Yeah.
I mean, the certainty we only have is in the scripture. But they, so there had to be some form of light for them to take to do their chores because they were on that Ark almost a year. Lanterns.
Right? Well, yeah. So they'd need to get light in there right now. Yeah. They would have lanterns. They had, I'm sure they would have had barrels and barrels of oil. Right.
Right. Now, when the Ark door shut, there were people outside the Ark. There was only Noah and his family in the Ark.
The Lord shut the door. So what did you have outside of that Ark? If Noah had the light, had light in the Ark, outside of the Ark was outer darkness. The storm clouds had gathered to produce the storms and the flood waters began to gather. And no doubt there were people who were trying to get on the Ark because they realized at a teachable moment that Noah was right. So there had to be people that tried to make their way to the Ark to get on, but the Lord shut the door.
Well, I'm sure there were, yeah, because remember they had not seen rain yet. And when Noah was preaching about the rains coming, but they didn't realize the earth was going to open up and water was going to come up from down below. Right. Also... Yeah, because it said God awarded the earth with a mist, that's what I mean. Yeah. It was a mist on the earth. And so...
Right. So you had people outside of the Ark in outer darkness. Now, Jesus used that phrase, outer darkness, a number of places in scripture, and he also used it coupled with another phrase, weeping and gnashing of teeth. And my point here is, whenever you see outer darkness and weeping and gnashing of teeth, it has to refer to the tribulation period. Because Jesus, number one, never used outer darkness to describe hell. And if we believe in a literal burning hell, think about it, no one weep in a burning hell, nobody.
It's too hot. Now, people will gnash their teeth in hell, but there's places where the scripture says there's wailing and gnashing of teeth, that's hell, but not weeping and gnashing of teeth. So whenever you see outer darkness and or weeping and gnashing of teeth, those passages are referring to the tribulation period, because that's the way it's going to be.
The tribulation period... Isn't that Sheol? The outer darkness, isn't that Sheol? Because you've got the lake of fire, which is the second death. But that's after the great white throne judgment.
Correct, Pastor? Yeah, the lake of fire is after... So before then it's Sheol, which is the outer darkness. Well, when the earth opens up, those creatures come up out of the pit of hell. No, I mean, when people die right now without believing in Christ as Lord and Savior, they go to Sheol, correct?
Well... Because the great white throne judgment hasn't happened yet. Hell is not a physical place, okay? Hell, you know, where it talks about the depths of hell and that, is a state of being. Hell is a state of being of torment, okay?
And sometimes Hades and Sheol, they're spoken, you know, intertwined. But what happens is at the end, that state of torment and death, death is separation from God. And so all those that are in hell, which would be in a state of torment and punishment, and those that have died, those that are separated from God, they'll be cast into the lake of fire, okay?
That's at the end. That's after the great white throne judgment. Right, that's after the great white throne judgment. But now, when people die without Christ as Lord and Savior, they go... To hell. Which is also called the outer darkness. Yeah, which is a state of torment. Yeah, God is not present there. They referred to its down, you descend down like it's down into the earth.
And of course, we go down into the earth, there's a magnet down there. But it's not a physical place. The lake of fire is a physical place.
Where the worm doesn't die and the fire doesn't quench. Right, but see, that state of torment, that's a state of torment. That's actually hell, okay? But that state of torment will be cast into the lake.
Tell them, John. Well, yeah, Pastor and Evie, I look at it like when you're talking hell, it's sort of like a holding prison for the great white throne judgment, because you'll see it talks about hell will give up the dead to stand before the Lord. Right, the seas give up the, yeah. Right, and then all whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life shall be cast into the lake of fire. And that is the final position of the wicked. It's a literal place. Literal physical place. I mean, hell is a literal state. It's literal state, but the lake of fire is a literal physical place. Where you're eaten alive by worms and burned to death, or burned alive continuously.
Yeah. And so, let's say that's actually, it's a state, like when you go to heaven, that's a state of continual living, permanent living. We're going to hell. You're in a state of continual dying.
It's a state of that you're dying continually. So, who do we have next? That's it. All right, good. John, it's your time, man. You got seven minutes, right? Just about. Okay. Okay. Okay, Pastor Ernie, thank you. But I went fast.
Well, it sure is. I wasn't watching the time, and all of a sudden you said that. Yeah, folks, we do want to pray for the President for a minute, and we thank you, Lord, for President Trump and how he is, thank you for protecting him.
We were talking about that tonight. We ask that you continue to protect him, Lord, because as he is gutting the deep state and they would certainly, if they have the chance, want to kill him. So we're asking for your protection on him, and that we would be blessed as a nation. Now, Father, we're before you with all the listeners, and it's our desire, Pastor Ernie's desire, my desire and all that we have with us, that we want to have every one of our listeners have eternal life, everyone. And it would be a shame for anyone that's listening to us to go as we talked here at the end of the show about the Lake of Fire. It is a real place. And God, the Bible says, for God so loved the world.
He loves everybody under the sound of my voice. He does not want anyone to go into the Lake of Fire, and he provided Jesus Christ, because God is holy. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And that death is the Lake of Fire. The reason for it is God is holy, and sin cannot be in his presence.
It can't be. Sin and God's holiness do not mix. And eternity is, the Lake of Fire, that's God's nature. The Bible says our God is a consuming fire. But when we're in heaven, because we've been born again, as the Bible says, we have the second birth, we have our spirit is renewed, we fit right there.
It's like a fish in water. But those that don't have the renewed body, those that have what the Bible calls a body of sin, they're exposed to the same elements that we are, that are believers, that have eternal life. So that Lake of Fire is where God is. Our God is a consuming fire, and in his presence with that body of sin, it's hellish, folks, for eternity.
So God doesn't want anyone to go there. The Bible says that Jesus Christ on the cross remitted our sin. That means he did away with the penalty. He was sinless. He could be our Savior because he was sinless.
Everybody that commits sin needs a Savior. He was the Savior because he had not committed one sin, folks, his entire life. He had a sinless nature, so he could take the penalty for our sin, which he did. And then the Bible said he rose from the dead the third day.
And when he rose from the dead, he rose in great power. That's the Gospel. The Gospel is Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.
He was buried, and he rose the third day according to the Scriptures. The Gospel is very simple. So what it takes is repentance on your part. Repentance means about faith.
It's a military term. So you're going one way without the Lord in the world, full of sin. You repent of that, turn around, and now you're going, living with Jesus Christ and his word, and you now have eternal life.
You now have assurance of eternal life, not because you were a good guy, a good woman, or anything like that, because you were a sinner, and in God's love, he sent Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for your sins. How much time? You have four minutes. Actually, you've got three and a half minutes.
Three and a half. Okay. All right. So it's crystal clear, folks, please, I'm pleading with you, to have assurance of eternal life. And the people in heaven, it's very interesting, we can go to heaven through Revelation chapter 5, and the people in heaven tell us how they got there. Verse 9 says, For you were slain, and has redeemed us to God by your blood. Now, this is what the people in heaven are saying. They're talking about the death of Jesus Christ, and they redeemed us with his blood. Then it says, From every kindred, that's tribe, every language, every people, and every nation. That's everybody, folks.
God is not a respecter of persons. Anyone, no matter what background you have, no matter what a terrible sinner you could have been, if you repent of your sin and turn to Christ and confess him, God will accept that, and he will accept you into his kingdom. So all nations, how broad could it be?
You know, the United States here is a nation. Heaven is big enough for everybody in the United States. It tells us in the scriptures that the number of people in heaven are 10,000 times 10,000 times thousands and thousands.
Huge number! So you can be in heaven. Then the Bible says, From all people. Well, that means male, female. It means all the different colors of the people.
It means rich, poor, young, old. All people heaven is open to through confession of sin and confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then it says every language.
So English, Spanish, all the languages. God's making it so clear that he wants everybody in heaven. And then every tribe.
That's every sort of ethnic group. So heaven is open, folks. It takes repentance and then confession of Jesus Christ, actually speaking from your heart and confessing with your mouth, that you repent of sin and you want Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. God will hear your plea.
He will forgive you. You live then with him at the center of your life and the word of God. The Bible says all men shall know you're my disciples if you keep my word. That's one of the signs of being a real believer in Jesus Christ. One minute, John.
Keeping his word. Okay, Pastor Ernie, I think I didn't leave anything out there for everyone. We got the death and resurrection of the Lord, repentance, assurance of eternal life. And the Bible tells us heaven is open to everyone, Pastor Ernie. Everyone can go to heaven if they come to Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Yep, and you're absolutely right. You know what, like everything we talked about tonight, and we'll fast because we covered a lot of area tonight here, but someday everything that we talked about, the only thing that would be remembered about tonight's program is what you just gave, the Gospel. You know, of course, the Gospel that we read, you know, the Bible. But that's it because everything else will be forgotten.
It won't be important. The only thing that will matter to everybody is their standing with the Lord Jesus. You're either saved or you're lost, no in between. So, it's that time for us. Pastor Ernie, one quick verse.
The world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. Amen. Now it's time to say good night.
Good night. God bless. God bless. Always, always, keep fighting the fight. Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight.
