It sounds so nice, doesn't it? Well, we're gonna find out right now, so take it away there. Long before the left began censoring and manipulating social media in hopes of controlling the flow of information online that reaches the eyes and ears of millions of Americans, they tried to do the same thing on television and radio. And as usual, their plan did the exact opposite of what its name implied. The Fairness Doctrine was a policy put in place in 1948 by the Federal Communications Commission, the FCC, that mandated the government monitor the broadcast news outlets in order to, as they claimed, make sure that they were being fair by presenting both sides of political issues. So one viewpoint didn't supposedly dominate the media. The, or well-named regulations, certainly weren't fair and were clearly a violation of the First Amendment rights of the TV and radio station owners, because the government isn't supposed to be telling people what they can and cannot say.

And despite being something one would expect to find only in a third-world country with a state-controlled news media, the Fairness Doctrine was a law in the United States until it was repealed in 1987, almost 40 years after it was put in place. But that didn't mean Democrats wouldn't try to resurrect it again since conservative AM talk radio had become such a powerful force in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with Rush Limbaugh dominating the industry once he was syndicated in 1988. When it was repealed, though, even Democrat Supreme Court Justice William Douglas admitted that it was a clear violation of the First Amendment and said the government has no business dictating what kind of content television stations, radio stations, and newspapers put out.

And he also noted that the demands of those enforcing the Fairness Doctrine would fluctuate with whatever political party was in power. But despite the obvious or welly nature of such a program and it clearly violating the First Amendment, 20 years later, in 2007, Democrat politicians pushed for it to be reinstated in order to combat talk radio and Fox News. Democrat Senator Dick Durbin from Illinois led the charge and was soon backed up by a long list of other liberals, including then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senators Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, and a bunch of others. Even former President Bill Clinton threw his support behind the plan, saying it should be reinstated in order to counteract right-wing talk shows, meaning Rush Limbaugh and AM talk radio in general. Before Barack Obama appointed Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, she was a law professor at the University of Chicago Law School, where she wrote an argument in favor of reinstating it, saying that the First Amendment would often permit indeed requires the reallocation of speech opportunities, adding that the realm of public expression may have too much of some kinds of speech, meaning conservative talk radio and too little of others, because back then, LGBTQism was confined to The Jerry Springer Show and RuPaul's Drag Race. And she said some speakers may drown out or dominate their opposition, so the government needed to correct these imbalances, she said.

Well, they couldn't get the government to do it. Obviously, the social impact agencies, the lobbyist organizations hired to persuade Hollywood studios successfully convinced them to saturate the airwaves with LGBTQism and other cultural Marxist propaganda, and now you can barely avoid it. Cass Sunstein, who Barack Obama appointed to run the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs as the information czar, of course, supported reinstating it as well, saying the government should control the broadcast media to ensure diversity of views, and that would help free expression.

It would help. Cass Sunstein is also the man who proposed using an army of government-funded online trolls to flood the comment sections on blogs, even before the advent of social media in order to guide conversations and shill for certain topics or attack the content that was posted. These days, Operation Earnest Voice does this on social media, a little-known government program you're not gonna hear about on Fox News, which is special software that allows operatives to run multiple sock puppet accounts or bot accounts on the big tech platforms, posing as ordinary Americans in order to direct or deflect the conversation in whatever direction the agenda entails. The left continuously tries to shut down the debate. The most mild, logical, level-headed criticism of their agenda is labeled racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, et cetera, et cetera.

It's difficult, if not impossible, to have a reasonable discussion about many issues without them throwing a temper tantrum and just screaming that your arguments are hate speech. But thankfully, Elon over at Twitter and even YouTube, surprisingly, loosened the rules for posts about the COVID lab leak and even questioning the 2020 election. But as the 2024 election approaches, we'll likely see censorship ramp up again and a whole new variety of topics get added to the list of bannable offenses. So buckle up.

All right, there you go, folks. Kamala Harris appears on a drag queen TV show to make a campaign pitch. Well, you know that those drag queens are probably much more likely to support a Democrat, right? I would say, well, look, well, first lady, Jill Biden praises the Olympic opening ceremony that, you know, mocked the Lord's Last Supper. And she says the U.S. will have to work very hard to top Paris in 2028. Kind of tells you that she called it spectacular. Spectacular was the word she used. You know, the rain didn't dampen our spirits.

Now here, I love this, listen. Every step of the way, I was thinking to myself, oh my God, oh my God. Yeah, they were blaspheming the Lord's Last Supper.

You had the transsexuals, you had some of the other perversity on there. And she's going, oh my God. I don't know if these people are just stupid or what, but kind of a bad time to be using saying that, isn't it? Yeah. It's just been, oh my God, what are they doing to the Christian?

You know, what are they doing to Christ and to, you know, our faith? But that wasn't the way she was using it, was she? No.

No. So, and then we do know that the, where is it? Oh yeah, here it is. The things are catchy. Some guy, there's this thing, Bachelorette.

I've never seen it, heard about it. But this contestant, this guy is a former contestant, John Sider. And he's one of those very heavy, hairy chested, very masculine looking men. And he's come out as a female transgender. And he's upset because of all the backlash from the far left. Ironically, I found out that the far left in the LGBTQ community has been some of the most vitriolic and mean toward me throughout all of this. I haven't been met with much acceptance, tolerance, and open arms that the left loves to preach about, said the former Bachelorette contestant. He talked about how he struggled with his gender identity and feelings of guilt and shame. And so they've got a picture of him wearing a dress and it's just totally sick.

I mean, there is not a thing about him that you could consider feminine in any way, shape, or form. But it's like once something becomes in, all of a sudden you have everything coming out of the woodwork. Everybody wants to be one of the in crowd, but all of a sudden he's found he made the leap, came out in public, and even the left doesn't want him. It must be kind of sad when the left turns you down, huh?

It's pretty bad, I guess. Well, I think that's one thing that we've seen from the far left throughout the last 20 years easily was that the more they preach tolerance, the less tolerant they are. Amen, yes. Well, there's a reason for that. To us, hypocrisy is repulsive, but to them, it's something to be embraced.

It's celebrated. Yeah, it's right in Karl Marx's playbook that always accuse the opposition of doing what you're doing. If you're going to commit a crime or a dishonest act, accuse your opposition of doing that first, and that's exactly what they do. That's exactly, this whole thing.

They tell you their playbook by what they accuse you of doing. Yeah. Exactly.

And it's here, like, for example, here's a good example of what I'm talking about. You got, you can't make this stuff up. Secretary Blinken condemns election fraud in Venezuela while turning a blind eye to the 2020 election fraud in the US. Blinken was the one that instructed those 51 intelligence agents to lie through their teeth, lie like a rug.

You get out there. There was a Russian just, you know, yeah. And you lie, you do it, and swear to it, and they did. And a stunning display of hypocrisy, Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken has joined forces with Latin American leaders to condemn alleged election fraud in Venezuela, all the while conveniently ignoring the mounting evidence and concerns surrounding the integrity of the 2020 US presidential election.

I mean, every day we find out more and more what we already knew. He goes on to say, Venezuela's National Election Council announced tonight that President Nicolas Maduro was the winner of Sunday's election while opposition leaders in the race denounced serious irregularities in the counting process. Well, they claim they have 73% of the voting tallies and they showed that there were 2.75 million votes for Maduro and 6.27 for his rival, Edmundo Gonzalez. But of course, Maduro said he won and that's all it is because it's a socialist state and he's declared himself the winner, did it right after midnight. He said, I've won the third term with 51% of the vote, which will extend a quarter century of socialist rule. And of course, he added that he won the majority of the valid, oh, see, there's the key, valid votes.

So this is how socialism works. He's declared like Kamala Harris, she is the candidate. She hasn't received one single vote, one single delegate, but the powers that be have decided that she is the one that they want out there. So hey, who cares if all those people voted for Joe Biden? Who cares if they should have a say and a vote on who runs in their ticket, but that's not the socialist way. The socialist way is the elite power brokers run everything and the people have almost no say at all.

And that's what they want for the United States of America. Right, do you know who Seymour Hersh is? Seymour Hersh?

I'm supposed to, the name is familiar, but I can't come up with it right now. Well, he's a very, a leading investigative journalist. Seymour Hersh revealed inside details of how the Obama-run deep state forced the acting president of the United States, Joseph R. Biden, to step down on Sunday, July 21st. Remember in the morning, in the morning, Biden was out saying when they were trying to interview him, I'm running, I'm in the race to stay. And that morning, that night, he came out and he said, I'm out.

The July 21st, the threatening to invoke the 25th Amendment, which allows the VP and cabinet majority to oust the president, who was unable to discharge the powers and the duties of his office. So they- Well, we knew that. We talked about it on the radio.

We said, there's three options. They're gonna go to him nicely. They're going to say this would be a good thing to do.

Then they're gonna get a little tougher with him that he really needs to. And finally, the third step was they're gonna go in and tell him, we're gonna humiliate you and do the Amendment 25 and shame and humiliate you if you don't back down. And that's what happened. He waited till step three. And overnight, he had one of those sudden changes in his thinking, right?

Yeah, in the bibbity. We said this was gonna happen. We told people, this is what's going on.

And we were at stage two is already completed. The only thing left was the threat. And these people, he knows that Biden knew they weren't just threatening. They meant what they said.

They would do it. Well, Jill Biden says they're going to regret what they did. She kinda liked riding in Air Force One. Yeah, oh, she liked a lot of things. I think she was the power behind the throne. Yeah. The glitz, the glamor, the attention, but who knows?

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts and minds of men and wives, right? Election interference, Google allegedly censoring research results on Trump's assassinations. That's not alleged. No.

No, that's not alleged, that's fact. I tried it myself earlier today. Oh, okay.

Yeah, I know that they've done that. What they're doing is you're trying to, you go up and you try to find anything you try to find about Trump's assassination. You have to type in assassination attempt of Donald Trump yourself. Like there's no prompts for that. You have to type that in yourself. Everything else, yeah, type in one word and it starts coming up.

You get assassination attempt on Truman, you get assassination attempt on everyone else except for Trump. You have to type that in yourself. Now, if I try it now, it'll come up because I've already gone through and typed it all up and I didn't clear the cookies or anything, but Facebook has been doing that as well and I don't know if that's in the story you were about to read.

I'm sorry. Some people have been saying that when they've gone for that information on Kamala Harris comes up. Of course. And so there you go. So it says allegedly sensory and search results on Trump's assassination attempts. Senator announces an investigation.

Okay. You know, I think I'm getting tired of investigations because by the time that they come up with an answer, it's after the fact, it's too late to do any good other than we told you so. Yeah, the investigations go nowhere. We told you so doesn't do a lot of good, does it?

Well, no, until we get a justice department back in and it's an amazing thing. I was telling a lady today, she wanted to know, well, she asked me, she said, well, why is Trump so mean? I said, what do you mean? Why does he mean? I said, if they had done to you what they did to him, all of these false charges and she really didn't know. She really didn't know what was happening with all of this lawfare. Well, you know that iconic picture of Trump raising his fist in the air with the blood dripping down his face?

Yeah, I'm looking at one right now. Yeah, I had a friend on Facebook, he had that picture and it got flagged for misinformation. And when you click on it, it says see why and then you're allowed to see the picture. It says see why, it says something about it being altered. There was nothing altered.

There was nothing altered about that picture, but that's what Facebook is starting to do now. Yeah, that's why AM talk radio was so important. It's so important and that's why Elon Musk buying Twitter was so important.

Yeah, well, you know, AM talk. We gotta have these outlets for voices and like the ads say on the station here, you gotta, we've gotta keep it mandatory to have AM radio on cars. Yeah, well, I just did a report last week on that they did all the polling and AM talk radio. More people still get their news from AM talk radio than any other source. More than the internet, more than TV. So they still get it and that's why they wanna, that's why they wanna shut down AM talk radio. Yeah, because you get actual news from AM talk radio. You know, it's not necessarily just slanted in and framed in a way that they want you to see it. You know, you will actually get the facts. In other words, we tell it like it is.

Exactly. Well, here's a fact, that's weird. That's weird, that's weird, that's weird. That is weird. Do you know what that, that is the echo chamber.

The left is, has put, has opened up and put the echo chamber in full run right now. And so they keep talking about, do you know who's weird? You know who it is that's weird? I'll give you a hint, okay? Chuckie Schumer wants Trump to replace him as his VP.

Okay, so I'm sure. He wants, yeah, Trump to, yeah, get rid of. Vance. J.D. Vance. All I can think of is Hillbilly Elegy. Yeah.

Can't think of the name. Chuckie would probably like to see Trump put Hillary in there. Oh yeah, well of course. Yeah, but anyhow, yeah, that's what they're doing right now. The echo chamber is in full swing right now and I'm watching, I mean, there was one, NBC, ABC, CBS, one after the other. You know, word for word, that's weird.

Now that's weird, that's weird. It's unbelievable how they insult the intelligence of the American people. No, what's more unbelievable is they get away with it with so many people. Russian diss, you look at the phrases, whatever it is, the phrase of the day, the word of the day, Russian disinformation, or whatever it is, gravitas. The first time I think most people in America had ever heard the word gravitas, it came out of the mouth of every talking head on liberal radio and people were just shocked. I mean, that kind of thing doesn't happen by accident.

The odds against that were trillions to one that all these people would come up with that word that had never been used on radio and all of a sudden everybody is talking about gravitas. So I mean, and the people never seem to catch on, Ernie. Pastor, they just, the listeners to those liberal news, they don't get it. They don't, but we've been talking about that here for many, many years, we, again, in fact, we play those clips like we just did earlier today, okay, you know, where the thing with the borders are.

You know, they repeat it word for word and now the echo chamber's in full blast and... I found the clip, I'm listening to it right now just to double check it, say for air, it's only like two minutes, so if you wanna play it in a couple of minutes after I double check it, we can do that. Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Yeah, that would be good. Yeah, this one would be the J.D.

Vance one probably. That's weird, well, that's weird. Oh, that's weird, well, that's weird.

He's weird, you know. It's always word for word, so. While you're waiting for that clip, one of the things that's kind of scary out there and I hate to bring bad news, but Turkey, their fearless leader over there, Arrogan, Arrogan, has been threatening to invade Israel over the war in Gaza as the tensions heat up. We were just talking earlier about how Hezbollah was firing rockets and killed a bunch of young people, young boys and girls, and wounded many, many others, and he's come out with a big threat. He threatened military intervention in Israel, or he actually came out and said they might do an invasion. And so he talked about just like we entered into Libya, we might do something similar to them, Israel. To them, he's referring to Israel. And the Israelis came back with kind of an interesting reaction. They kind of reminded him of something that happened to another world leader who threatened that a while back.

Do you remember that one? Okay, well yeah, okay, there was a while back you had Saddam Hussein and the Ayatollah, yeah. So they were talking about, well, you know, go ahead, but you might just find yourself, you know, not being present anymore, might be a long time dead. And so, anybody, Israel is out there. Israel has, you know, they're about third or fourth in the world as far as nuclear weapons go. Yeah, they are.

And so before. They could turn Egypt, or I mean, not Egypt, but they could turn Turkey into a glass parking lot if they wanted to. Yeah, they certainly could.

That's weird. If they get invaded, they might just do something like that because they can't fight four fronts. The war on four fronts, they're already fighting three. They're fighting the Houthis, they're fighting Hamas, they're fighting Hezbollah. And if Turkey goes to stick its nose in, they might stir up the hornet's nest a little more than they wanted. Well, when Netanyahu was over here, he was fighting the Democrats, too.

I mean, they invaded his hotel room, filled it full of maggots and all kinds of bugs, and then they tried to break into where he was at. I have that super cut if you want to hear it. Now, this is all the talking heads that must have all got the same notes from the DNC, so these are all the CNNs, and it starts off with Kamala here. It's a super cut of them with their new word of the day.

Yeah, go for it. Wow, word of the day, love it. Some of what he and his running mate are saying, well, it's just plain weird. These guys are just weird.

That's who they are. As weird and creepy as J.D. Vance. Super weird idea from J.D.

That stuff is weird. They come across weird, and then they start being weird. Yeah, they're weird.

Being a really weird. He's such a weirdo. Donald Trump and his weirdo running mate are weird. Deeply and profoundly weird. They are weird. These Republicans just being weird, it's just weird. It's really weird. Republican weirdness goes even deeper. He said a lot of things that are weird.

The weird style that he brings. Weird policies. We'll start with the weird thing, because it is a thing. Just plain weird. What was weird was talking about Diet Mountain Dew.

Who drinks Diet Mountain Dew? Whoever's seen the guy laugh, that seems very weird to me, that an adult can go through six and a half years of being in the public eye. If he has laughed, it's at someone, not with someone. That is weird behavior. Weird and cultish. These are weird people on the other side.

He kind of doubled down on his weird ideas. I think weird is probably generous. Simply weird. These guys are just plain weird. Vance as weird. You know, as the campaign said, weird. It really is just plain weird. J.D. Vance, plain weird.

I mean, I don't know how else you could read it. Weird. It is kind of weird. We're not afraid of weird people. On the other side, they're just weird. Why are you being so weird? Vance has done something more extreme, more weird. No matter what kind of weird stuff they keep saying. Trump and Vance are just weird.

In addition, they're just a democracy. That's the weird part that's the most engaging. Whom he addressed as my beautiful Christians, which was super weird. Weird tech bro J.D. Vance. He's a weird guy.

J.D. Vance, uneasy and sort of weird. Frankly, for lack of a better word, that he's weird. He has these sarcastic remarks that aren't even funny. And he kind of shows that he can't really deliver a one liner. So Sam, weird is the word here, in terms of initial impressions from Vance to the American public.

All righty. That's weird, isn't it? It is weird. I think that's very weird that they, I would call that word abuse. Well, again, every time they learn a new word like that. That dance that there was like Margarita, I can't remember what it was called, Margarita or something like that.

But they did the same thing with that. The Macarena. The Macarena. The Margarita. The Margarita. Yeah.

What was that? The Pina Colada, what was that dance? Yeah, every one of them were doing the same thing. I mean, you turn the station and they'd all be talking about that dance. But these are the same people that are applauding the Olympics, this opening ceremony of the Olympics. And they're calling J.D.

Vance weird? Yeah. Yeah, you're right. It's an amazing thing. A pot in the kettle all over again. But again, like I said, with us, hypocrisy is something that's repulsive to them.

It's something to be embraced. And I'll never forget when Hillary came to Cleveland and she was doing a book signing. So I slipped in there. I wanted to hear what was going on. And I was sitting there, and there was like a little area here where you had all these chairs around this table where the people would sit their coffee. They were taking their lattes and that. And I was listening. And these party members were boasting about how they talked somebody into doing something they would never do, how they were practicing hypocrisy.

It was just unbelievable. But that's what they are. Whenever God's word the Bible teaches, they're in total opposition of it. But she is a bloodthirsty woman, Camilla. She's pro-abortion. I mean, there's not enough blood in the veins of innocent children to quench her thirst.

She is extremely bloodthirsty. And I'm going to be talking about, if I was counseling President Trump, one of the things I would counsel him to do is to take the same stand on abortion that God's word the Bible does in a bold way. But you know what? We'll be back right after this.

What was it, Monday or Friday? Stiles said he don't like Trump. I don't know, I don't know, it sounds weird to me. Maybe I just heard, I heard something wrong. I think you got that wrong.

Stiles is a, he's a supporter of Trump. Yeah? Oh, yeah. That's not what I heard. Well, anyway, let me say one other, let me make one other point about Salem. Salem is a media company, and all they do is right-wing Christian broadcasting. Now, that's not all they do. They have sports stations, too.

They have a number of sports stations, too. But there's nothing wrong with the right-wing Christian broadcasting, because you know what? Every place in God's word, the Bible will refers to the right, it refers to righteousness. When it refers to the left, it refers to unrighteousness.

Every time you interrupt me, you know, then they cut me off. But anyway, there is no left. How can they discriminate against the left? But if the left were on, it would show just how stupid they are, and it would favor the right-wing.

It would favor Trump. All right. Yeah, I guess. You get the point? Because I called, and I tried to get a radio program, and they won't call me back. They want to know what religion I am. Well, you know what? I don't know. Well, listen.

I know what you're telling me. You don't have a religion. I don't have a religion. I have a relationship, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I have no religion. All right, there you go. That's a good answer, but they're still not going to call me back. You know, they know me here, you know.

They've got your number. Leonard, Leonard, Leonard, why would they call you back and make you pay for a show when you could just call in right now, like you are now? No, I'm willing to pay for the show. Why won't they give me the show? I don't know, Leonard. Yeah, well.

Just record your calls, and then when you get an hour, put them all together and use that as your demo. Maybe they got my book. I don't know. But we do have full lines, so we got to let you go, Leonard. All right, thanks, Leonard. Go ahead.

Yes, good evening. Blessings to all, and I wanted to say that every day that we are being vigilant and standing firm on our convictions without compromise, we see the Communist Manifesto playing out alive in real time before our eyes. Only those that are not living in a symbiotic relationship with Jesus Christ and the King James Bible do not see it for what it is. I just look each day to see what new lies they're going to come up with, and the falsehoods, and the mudslinging on our side, the righteous and those that stand for life instead of death. I'm going to keep telling it like it is no matter what. And the one thing I want to say that discourages me today on TV is how much I just was reading while the show was on until you were taking calls for the last hour and a half.

All the verses in the Bible about compromise, and the dangers of compromise, and the consequences of compromise. When I watch, whether it's Fox, and once in a while you have to know your enemy, because in the art of war it says to know your enemy as well as know yourself. And I do flip around. I can't do it for more than a minute or two, because I start to get queasy when I flip over to MSNBC, or PBS, in order to get nauseous.

So I have to change the channel back to something that gives me a little better footing. But I have to understand where they're coming from. And I look each day to see what the new narrative is going to be. And they aren't. They're like talking puppets.

They just put the tape in the back of the head, and they download the narrative. And everybody just spews the exact same thing. I don't care. You can switch in a 10-minute period and go on a bunch of different channels, and they're all saying the same stuff.

That's weird. Anybody that knows what's going on knows the game, knows the game. There's nothing wrong with Vance or Trump. I mean, I'm not saying it says no, not once. So we know that Vance and Trump are not perfect, just like none of us are perfect.

It's only through the grace of Jesus Christ at Calvary that washes away our iniquity. What I want to call and leave a message for Trump, if I have to try to get a call down in Mar-a-Lago or I'm going to write a letter, I want to, Pastor Ernie, I know he's very, very busy, but I want him to think about telling Trump to say, Paula White, you're fired, that I want Pastor Ernie to be his counsel, because we have to win in November. And that's the only way it's going to happen. Well, I would love to be his counsel. I think he may have got rid of Paula White.

I haven't seen her around. I'll tell you what, Paula White, she's a fox in the henhouse. And you've got to even watch yourself with Franklin Graham, because if you go and do your homework on Franklin Graham and Billy Graham and anybody else, as much as I've grown up, I like to listen to Billy Graham.

As I start doing some due diligence and deep diving as I got older, I'm now 61 as of June 30th this year, that I don't just do the status quo stuff. I'm constantly digging, digging, and digging while I'm simultaneously trying to be in a state of sanctification every day and wanting to make sure that I go deeper in my relationship with Jesus Christ, that I'm also, you've got to call a spade a spade. And there's a lot of them, if you pay attention in the news, there's a lot of preachers, well-known and not so well-known that have come up in the news lately that have some very unsavory things said about them.

Tony Evans, and I can go on and on and on. You had Ravi Zacharias years ago, all the abhorrent stuff he was doing in India while he was saving the world and being a Crusader for Christ. And you said the other night, he says, if any are gonna come in my name and then I'm gonna say depart from me, I knew you not. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, he shall reap, and you always reap more than you sow. So, you know, word to you, I know that the fear of the Lord is, you know, is beginning of wisdom. So the fear for me every day is, I don't want to disappoint the Father.

I don't want to disappoint the Father. I gotta move on, tell me, because the whole world's lit. Stand our ground, and it's not over till we win. We have to win on November 5th first, and then everything else will take care of itself. All righty, we're with you.

New Jersey, okay. Can you hear me? I can hear you. Can you hear me? Hi, I have a question. I just regained a memory from, like, I lost my memory when I was five, about everything I learned about anything, right? And listening to WFIL with all the ministers and brought it back, and I'm 80 years old.

I don't want time to wait. Are you there? Yeah. Yes, we're listening. Yeah, so I remember when I was little, and I had them read the Bible to me, the whole Bible.

I wouldn't stop. I wanted to hear the whole thing. It would be King James 1611, right?

Right. And I wanted to learn how to read so I would always have it. So I went down the alphabet, and I said, oh, adults will think I'm silly, but I took the letter A. I went through the whole book, then B, got up the G. I went through the Bible seven times with the letters, and I'm thinking, oh, geez, that reminds me of Genesis, God, Garden of Eden, and that's my father's name, George with a G. So then I was ready to go on.

I was four years old, and I was ready to go on to the H's, and I probably fell asleep because my parents probably picked me up and took me somewhere, like a party or whatever. And I woke up, and I walked into a room, and to the left, they had a big board up, and it said, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, right? And I'm looking for H's, and I was standing there saying, look at all these H's. I was set to go through the H's, right? And then I turned to the right, and they had Y-H-W-H. Would you mind if I explained my idea of Y-H-W-H? You know what? We're just about out of time. How much time do I have there? But I took the letters apart.

You have about seven minutes. All right, Y-H-W-H. Father has an H, and W is the word, and Christ Jesus has H's. And it reminds me of the woman at the well where he told that he had asked me for water and all that, and you don't know where you worship, comes from the Jews and all that. But then the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost be another H, right? And I'm standing there, and I'm going, what else is an H?

Oh, humanity. They added Adam and Eve. And once they added Adam and Eve, you could say Yahweh, right? And I'm thinking, what is that Y?

And I couldn't figure it. I went and stood in the back, and I'm remembering what people told me about some religions go left to right, some go right to left. So I'm standing there, I'm looking at it, and I'm thinking, oh, okay, it spells W-A-Y, the way. And that's all about Jesus Christ.

It came out, gone again, I looked at it, and did it over again. He's the way, and where the Father was, he's the truth. And where the W is, he's the lifestyle of, and he used Eve to get things started. And we're the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, he's the light of the world. And they set me on a path starting with Noah, where all the H is. Noah and his three sons, y'all have an H, and then you go on to, you just go down the list, and you go all the way down, it takes you to the crucifixion and the resurrection.

All right. I was looking at a hymn called, In the Shadow. As we journey on toward heaven's shining goal, we may suffer pain and loss. Burdens only bring us blessings if we live in the shadow of the cross. On that tree of sorrow, Jesus died for all, took upon himself our dross. As I see him there, I long to ever live in the shadow of the cross. There are souls to rescue, there are souls to save.

On the sea of life they toss. May we be a light and teach them how to live in the shadow of the cross. Are you living in the shadow of the cross where the Savior took your place? By the cross he'll lead us to that home above, and there we'll see him face to face. I thought, wonderful, wonderful words. Too many times, I remember Thomas Jefferson ordered two books to be read in the public full system.

He was not only president, he moonlighted as the superintendent of schools in D.C., and he had the two books for the King James Bible and the Watts Hymnal. And as I read the words in these hymns, they tell us so much of the story, the shadow of the cross, and I thought, are you living in the shadow of the cross? If you're not born again, you're not living in the shadow. You haven't accepted that Jesus died a substitutionary death for you, and it's our job to remind you of this gift that he offers to each and every one of us out there, to all who are sinning, and he is there to bring the light and life and our souls to save, and it's our job to tell you how to save yourself. You must be born again, Jesus said to Nicodemus. You have to be spiritually born again. You have to call upon God the Father. You have to confess from the heart that you're sorry that your sins placed his son upon that cross at Calvary where he took your place, paid the sin debt price for you, but you have to acknowledge that you're sorry and that you accept his gift, and then God the Father will forgive you, and then you can ask Jesus to be Lord of your life, but you have to put him first. He has to be first before everything else. You have to give yourself to him without hesitation, without reservation, without... You can't negotiate. If you do that, then you become born again.

How? Because he then, Jesus then sends you the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God. Your body becomes a holy temple. You have now a personal relationship with God. You become a son or daughter by that indwelling of the Holy Spirit. One minute, Joe.

One minute. And it is the most wonderful thing that can happen to you, the change, the peace that comes upon you, and you start to grow in knowledge and love of the Lord, and it's a decision only you can make to accept his offer to live in the shadow of the cross. Why do you wait, brother? Because many of you will not see tomorrow, or maybe the next day you'll be called by God, and you have to decide to accept him as Lord and Savior. You can't do it after you die.

The greatest decision you'll ever make, and I suggest that we want all of you to live in the shadow of the cross, to become a son or daughter of the living God, to be a joiner with Jesus in everlasting life. Do it today. Call upon God.

Confess, repent, and claim Christ as your Savior. Amen. Do it while there's time, and we're out of time for tonight.
