The founding documents of America, including the Treaty of Paris and the Declaration of Independence, were rooted in Judeo-Christian theism, emphasizing the importance of inalienable rights and God-given freedoms. The Reformation played a significant role in shaping the American Republic, and the Second Amendment is a God-given right to defend oneself and the nation. Hello, say hi to... Yeah, I want to say God bless you and everyone that's on the show and all our listeners.

Well, thank you. I wanted to share a couple of things about American history that's very important for us, and it's part of being American patriots. There are three documents that are founding documents for America. Now, everybody knows two of them. One is the Declaration of Independence, and the other one is the Constitution, right, Pastor Ernie? Absolutely, but there's a third, right? Yeah, there's a third, and that's called the Treaty of Paris, September 3rd, 1783, and that's where we officially gained our independence from Great Britain.

So, I want all our listeners to fasten their seatbelts when they hear what I'm about to share. The official title of it is The Definitive Treaty of Peace Between the United States of America and His Britannic Majesty. Now, this is the preamble to the Treaty of Paris where we gained our independence. On July 4th, 1776, we declared independence, but we had to fight eight more years to get the independence. So, here is the preamble. It's short.

Here's what it says. In the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity. That is how we gained our independence. That's how we became a nation, Pastor Ernie. In the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity.

Amen. There's no other nation in the world that was created in the name of the most holy undivided Trinity. Now you know why nobody's heard this, because they wanted to keep that a big state secret, right? Oh, yes.

Yeah, they don't want that to get out. But yeah, that is our founding document that Great Britain granted us separation and that we became our own nation. All of the war between Great Britain and the United States was over, and we were free and independent. Isn't that exciting? I mean, what a legacy to be created in the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity. I know. I mean, here, there's only a few of us left that know this today, but we're here, and even though we may be small in numbers, you know, like God is a majority of one, and if God be with you, who can stand against you, right? Amen.

Yeah, and it's our job to pass it on, Pastor Ernie. You've been a very nice listening audience, so they all know, it's called the definitive treaty of peace between the United States of America and his Britannic majesty, September 3rd, 1783, and it begins with, in the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity. The other thing I wanted to share, Pastor Ernie, and this is well known, but I think it's just important to enforce it today, is about the Declaration of Independence, and it talks about, well, I could read the first paragraph, the unanimous declaration, that's what it's titled, the anonymous declaration of the 13 United States of America. One in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and nature's God entitle it.

A decent respect to the opinion of mankind requires that they should declare the cause which impels them to the separation. So the Declaration of Independence is laying out why we are being separated from Great Britain, but then it says here, before they get into that, we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, that to ensure these rights, governments are instituted among them. So Pastor Ernie, do our rights come from the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Spins in America, or do they come from God Himself? They come from God Himself. And that court's rights are supposed to come from we the people.

Yes, yes. And that's been turned all upside down now. We're like meagley beggars for some rights from this omnipotent government. But in our founding, we recognize that our rights come from the Creator. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So when we look at the Constitution, because right here it says, before we look at the Constitution, it says to secure these rights, these rights that are given us unalienable rights, governments are instituted among them. So our government then comes from the Constitution. Right, Pastor Ernie? Absolutely.

So the Constitution was created to protect and to, I'll say protect, our inalienable rights. Exactly. Right?

That's all out today. God's nowhere to be found. It's all man's raw power, Pastor.

Man's raw power. And how we were formed with inalienable rights, does that ever come up in a Supreme Court decision, Pastor Ernie? Have you ever heard them say that? No, not at all. No. No.

No. It states, well I don't mean states, the individual states, I mean the states like the federal government. It's the state that has the ones dishing out rights and things like that. Not that the government has been created to protect our rights. And the other thing, Pastor Ernie, I want to share is about the Second Amendment. Now, let me turn to the Second Amendment. Where did the Second Amendment go? Oh, here it is.

Well, it's easy anyways. With a well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Now, you often hear that we have a God-given right. The Second Amendment is a God-given right for us to protect ourselves, which is absolutely true.

But I came across a study on the founding fathers and what they meant about, we have like a divine right. The way they look at it, it's God-given that we protect ourselves. I mean, if someone tries to assault you, you move to defend yourself.

Right, Pastor Ernie? Right, absolutely. And if someone comes to your family and they're going to bring harm, you have every right to defend yourself and the nation. If the nation is attacked, we have every right to defend the nation. So the founding fathers looked at it as if that is a divine right. It's like intuitive in us from God to defend ourselves. So the Second Amendment was put there, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. That is our right, constitutional right, given by God to defend ourselves because God has created us that way that we defend ourselves. So that throws a whole new light on the Second Amendment, in my opinion, on the Second Amendment. They're lining up with God as the Creator put in us the right to defend ourselves.

So the government now is giving us, is extending that, the government is ensuring that protection by putting in the Second Amendment. Well, you know, it was interesting because here a couple of weeks ago I was speaking at one of the liberty groups and here afterwards, well, during that period there was a couple in there and you know how you can see some people that they have a look on their face and you can tell that they want to ask you a question? And so when I was leaving, they caught up with me and she said, Pastor, I've got a question, something that's really been on my mind.

And I said, What is that? And she said, Well, you know, Jesus said to turn the other cheek and I don't know, are we to stand up and fight back for our freedoms? And I said, Well, yeah, Jesus, first of all, you have to realize who he was talking to. And when he was saying if a brother or your enemies, he was referring to the Jews who were their own enemies there, that they were constantly fighting with each other.

He didn't tell them to stand against the Romans because they were put under Roman rule as a punishment for the rebellion against God. And so here I said, When Jesus asked Peter, How many swords do you have? And Peter said, Well, just one.

He said, Well, for Peter that was sufficient. But when he told them to sell your garment, that was a big deal. They didn't have in those days like we do. You know, you go in your closet and you've got a lot of garments. In those days they would have maybe two robes. And a lot of times they didn't have much of a closet, right?

So that was very important to sell. You'd be cold at night, but to get a sword. And the purpose of that sword was not just the right, but you had the obligation to defend yourself, your family, and each other. That's what he was telling them.

And here, that's what people have to understand. Pacifism is a sin. Pacifism is a sin.

It's a sin of omission. So, how does that sound? Sounds pretty good because it's the, well, it's God's truth. God cannot lie, right?

Absolutely. Well, you know, when the people tell you, well, no, Jesus, you know, Jesus, you know, he always turned the other cheek, this and then. When the Lord returns, tell me, when the Lord returns, is he coming back to make peace? Or is he coming back to, as a final judgment, he's not coming back to make love, is he? No, he's coming back to make war. He's coming back as the captain of the host of the Lord's army.

Amen. He's coming back in flaming fire to take vengeance on them who forbade the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And when he comes back, is he going to be alone? No, the armies of heaven are returning with him. That's right, that's us. That'll be us. We'll be with him. Right.

Absolutely. And what do armies do? You won't find any place in scripture with an army unless the army was fighting. And so that's what armies do, they come back. So anyhow, that's reality.

Not only that, it's kind of just common sense, isn't it? I mean, if the cause is a righteous cause, is freedom free? No, it's never been free. Christ set us free and look at the price he paid, the abuse, the beating, the mockery, the crucifixion, the horrible price that God had to give his only begotten son to what set men free. Freedom wasn't free in the beginning, never will be.

Without the... This is a sin-cursed fallen world, and man wants dominion over man. That's part of our evil nature. So when you look through history, there's always war and conquering and enslaving and killing.

I mean, it's always, that's our nature until Christ returns, until we go to be with him. So this is something that, with our nature, that we've really inherited a unique nation past and early. When we look at all the wars that took place and everything, that God has really blessed us here in America.

You know, here, we've been selling, out in my yard, in the yards of a lot of people in our church, in the church in our churchyard, we have a son, a sign out there, celebrating from Mother's Day to Father's Day, celebrating the natural family, the natural family unit. Now, during that month of June, Joe Biden and the entire Democratic Communist Party celebrated Sodomite Month. And here, right towards the end of Sodomite Month, Joe Biden was put through the sodomite flag over the White House and did all the sodomite rainbow colors and that.

Do you think that Joe Biden is reaping what he's sowing now with what's happening? Absolutely, Pastor Nurney. Be not deceived, God is not mine. Whatever a man sows, that shall he reap. He that sows to the flesh, shall the flesh reap corruption.

He that sows to the spirit, shall the spirit reap life everlasting. And he led the charge in 2014 for destroying marriage between a man and a woman and making it mockery. He actually led the charge, Pastor, under Obama. And then there's been despicable things done every June under his presidency.

I couldn't even tell you on air what was last year in particular. He's done everything he can to wreck the two sexes, male and female. And he's trying to do everything he can to turn little boys into girls, little girls into boys. I mean, he's mocking God in his word, Pastor Nurney. And look what happened to him in the month of June.

J-E-A month, what do they call it? And so now he's using, trying to use lawfare coming against any of his political appointments. How many people just, you know, Bannon, Steve Bannon just went to prison. Look at all of the people that went to the J-6ers and all this. So they're using lawfare, this corruption, against the enemies.

What did Jesus say? Woe unto you lawyers, woe unto you lawyers, woe unto you lawyers. When I was doing that Bible study, you remember the judges were supposed to be honest, righteous men, you know, that couldn't be bought off. And now we can see in the Democrat Party there isn't a judge that wasn't bought off. They're so corrupt.

Unbelievably how corrupt. And Chunkin Chookin, or whatever her name is, and Murchon, and what was the other one there? The guy that went around shirtless all the time, real corrupt judge there in New York. And I can't think of his name right now.

Does it have so many brags, they have that other, I don't know. He's a prosecuting person. Murchon, there was one named Murchon? Yeah, Murchon. Murchon, but there was another one. Murchon, he wasn't... Yeah, he had a weird name, it began with an e. Yeah, Engron, Engron.

Engron, thank you. So, these people were so corrupted, unbelievably corrupt. But you know, the Bible and the dawn of the American dream, when the Reformation swept over Europe, it put the Bible in the bands of the people, in the hands of the people, and revolutionized concepts of government, and set the stage for the American Republic, with the influence of Samuel Rutherford, John Witherspoon, John Locke, and the Bible became the boast of the United States government and law. The Reformation in Europe, revolutionary concepts of government, it provided a framework for a political freedom unknown up to the time. The standard of reference, the Bible was placed in the hands of the people. Freedom could not exist without license and without chaos.

The event led to the culture and brought about the civil freedoms and benefits Western Europe and the United States have enjoyed for centuries. Christian theism teaches that man is held accountable to his Creator. Absolute standards exist by which all moral judgment of life are to be measured with the Bible.

There is a standard of right and wrong. These fundamental principles made up the Reformation worldview. They were passed on in substance and without significance, alteration, or the American colonies, through the influence of a book written by the Presbyterian minister, Samuel Rutherford, Lex Rex, or the law and the prince in 1644.

Lex Rex challenged the fundamental principles of 17th century political government in Europe. The divine right of kings, Rutherford asserted, that the basic premise of government and therefore of law must be in the Bible, the word of God rather than the word of any man. All men, even the king, Rutherford argued, were under the law and not above it.

Though Rutherford died before his concepts were implemented, his ideas lived on influence later generations. His basic prepositions of government based upon the absolute of the Bible was finally realized in the colonial America through the influence of John Weatherspoon and John Locke. Weatherspoon, a Presbyterian minister who had been educated at Edinburgh University, brought the principles of Lex Rex into the writings of the Constitution. He was the only clergyman to sign the Declaration of Independence. Dr. Francis Schaeffer has noted that many of the men who laid the foundations of the United States Constitution were not Christians in the full sense, and yet they built upon the basis of the Reformation either directly through Lex Rex tradition or indirectly through Locke.

Our political institutions have their base in their Reformation thinking. Blackstone had written The Divine Origin of the Rights and Laws. The renowned 18th century English jurist William Blackstone also played a leading role in forming Christian presuppositional base to early American law. Blackstone's ideas on the law were readily accepted in the colonies. A lecturer at law at Oxford, he embodied the tenets of Judeo-Christian theism in his commentaries.

In the first century of American independence, the commentaries were not merely an approach to the study of the law. For most lawyers, they constituted all there was of the law. Blackstone, a Christian, believed that the fear of the Lord was the beginning of wisdom. Thus, he opened his commentaries with a careful analysis of the law of God as revealed in the Bible. Blackstone took it as self-evident that God is the source of all laws.

Whether they found in the holy scriptures or were observable in nature, his presuppositions were thoroughly Christian, founded upon the belief that there existed a personal, omnipotent God who worked in and governed the affairs of men. In consequence, man was bound by those laws which were in turn a system of absolutes. In Blackstone's views, and in the eyes of those who founded the United States, every right or law comes from God, and every word, right laws and freedoms, and so are meaningless without their divine origin.

Blackstone's influence was clearly expressed in the Declaration of Independence. The colonists argued that it is the laws of nature and of nature's God that entitled them to independence and to an equal station among nations. In echoing Lex Rex, the colonists proclaimed that all men are created equal. In seeking independence from Great Britain, the colonists declared to the world their belief in a personal, infinite God, their Creator, who endowed them with certain inalienable or absolute rights to the men of that time. It was self-evident that if there were no God, there could be no absolute rights. Unlike the French revolutionaries, a few years later, the American colonists knew very well that if the inalienable rights were urging, urging were not seen in the context of Judeo-Christian theism, they were without content. The Declaration of Independence, therefore, is structured upon a Judeo-Christian base in two fundamental ways. First, it professes faith in a Creator who works and governs the affairs of men and established absolute standards to which men are held accountable. Second, and even more fundamentally, since all Western nations of the era professed a belief in the Creator, there is the idea that man is a fallen creature and hence cannot be his own law-giver and judge. In the end, it is God to whom the appeal must be made. In this case, the law cannot be simple, simply what a judge or a fuhrer says it is. It is what God says it is. That's exactly right what we're talking about today. God has said, and you know, this is something because people, the biblical illiteracy is just unbelievable. Biblical literacy, today, when you say God has said abortion is murder, people will say, well, no, it can't be murder, it's legal. It's legal.

Okay? Do they understand the difference between what's legal and lawful? They don't, right?

They have no idea. We know that the founders, in their several different writings, said the entire government and legal system was based on the Ten Commandments of God and the teaching of the New Testament, which is the gospel, the doctrine of Jesus Christ. And we know that it was all set up because what the Republic is rule of law, laws that do not change. Now, what are the only laws in the universe that don't change? God's laws. Man's laws change constantly by different leaders, right? So the founders made it quite clear that our Republic was law or a rule of law that does not change because God's laws are eternal.

And, you know, this kind of stuff is not talk. Look back at John Jay again. He talked about this glorious revolution, distinguished by so many marks of the divine favor and inner position.

That's his coming down and helping. And I may say miraculous, that when future ages shall read its history, they will be tempted to consider a great part of it as fabulous. That many remarkable events by which our wants have been supplied, our enemies repelled, are such strong and striking proofs of the inner position of heaven that our having been hitherto delivered from the threatened bondage of Britain ought, like the emancipation of the Jews from Egyptian servitude.

I mean, I probably have six pages of quotes like this. The founders gave so much credit to God. And even later on, Calvin Coolidge, back in July 5th, 1926, the principles which went into the Declaration of Independence are found in the sermons of the early colonial clergy. They preached equality because they believed in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. They justified freedom by the text that we are all created in the divine image. I mean, you can go through our presidents all the way up to the... Another thing Calvin Coolidge also said, the foundations of our society and our government rests so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them in faith.

And these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country. And now a word from John Wayne. We'll be right back. Face the flag of stars and stars, of red and white and blue. A flag that guarantees the rise for men like me and you. Face the flag, son.

Read what's written there. The history, the progress, the heritage we share. Our flag reflects the past, son, that stands for so much more.

In this age of Aquarius, it still flies in the forward. It leads the forward movement shared by all mankind to learn to love, to live with peace of mind. To learn the mysteries of space as well as those of Earth. To love each man for what he is regardless of his birth. To live without the fear of reprisal or belief.

To ease the tensions of a world that cries out relief. Face the flag of stars and bars, of red and white and blue. A flag that guarantees the rise for men like me and you. Face the flag, son.

Take a good long look. What you're seeing now can't be found in a history book. It's the present, the future, son. It's being written now.

And you're the one to write it. The flag can show you how. Do you know what it stands for? What its makers meant? To think, to speak, the privilege of dissent. To think our leaders might be wrong to stand and tell themselves. These are the things that other men under other flags will never know. But responsibility, that's the cross that free men must bear.

If you don't accept that, freedom isn't there. Face the flag of stars and bars, of red and white and blue. A flag that guarantees the rise for men like me and you. Face the flag, son, and face reality. Our strength and our freedoms are based in unity. The flag is but a symbol, son, of the world's greatest nation. As long as it keeps flying, there's cause for celebration.

So do what you gotta do, but always keep in mind. A lot of people believe in peace, but there are the other kind. If we want to keep these freedoms, we may have to fight again, God forbid. But if we do, let's always fight to win. The fate of a loser is futile, it's bare.

No love, no peace, just misery is bare. Face the flag, son, and thank God it's still there. Thank you, Duke. There you go.

Well, you know what? Those are some very wise words from the Duke there because we're at that time in this nation, folks, where we have to face the flag and bring it. We are obligated, we have a charge, and our charge is to bring this nation back to one nation under God. While we're here, we are to run to the battle. And the Lord said that the victory, He'll provide the victory. We just have to be obedient.

And here today, too many people, you wouldn't believe how many times I've heard. We can't win. There's too many of them. They've got it. They've got the military. There's no way we can win. Again, the Lord said He would provide.

He would provide the victory. But we have to run to the battle. And our freedoms are not free. They're paid for.

They've been paid for with those that went before us. And I can tell you, I have no respect for cowards. You know, the worst cowards in the world to me are cowardly preachers because they are given the charge. If there's anyone that's supposed to be bold, the Bible says the righteous are as bold as lions. And anyone to be bold and stand fast and not turn and tuck tail is the preachers.

And I've been so disappointed by those in this country that have failed our God and our country and its people. What do you fellas think? I think that's totally true.

I go back to something I wrote many years ago. If a nation takes over another nation, that nation that's taken over is said to be occupied. But that's our situation today. We're occupied, but we're occupied by our own government. It's basically an efficient parasite that's taken over.

It weakens, sucks the blood out of the host, but doesn't quite kill it. It's kept us able to support the deep state, the government. And the government then really has become this parasite on the body of the American people. And we go back to William Patterson, one of the signers on the first Supreme Court appointed by Washington. He said the Constitution would not keep America on course. He said what would keep America safe would be to obey what God has told us in the sacred scriptures. And he would close every speech with Proverbs 29 2. When the righteous rule, the people rejoice. And when the wicked rule, the people groan. And the pastors have not been preaching from scripture when we have these unrighteous rulers. And you hear nothing from the pulpits. Well, the people are groaning and the pulpits are silent.

Maybe that's why the people groan, Pastor Ernie. You're absolutely right. They failed God in 60, 63, was it 62 or 63?

63 Madeline Murray O'Hare, right? Yeah. They failed God then, then they failed him again in 73, 1973. And again, now I do see an awakening, but it's very small, the black robe regimen.

But it's bigger than it's been probably. God always works with a remnant all through the Old Testament. Like Gideon's army, he peels it down. But remember, Sam Adams was the father of the revolution. And as the declaration was signed, he said this. We have this day restored to sovereign, to whom all men ought to be obedient.

He reigns in heaven, and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let his kingdom come. That almost needs to be our battle cry again. We're being taken over by the anti-Christ communist revolution. We're in the middle of a communist revolution, and we have to fight again. And I think that is the great battle cry. Today we are going to restore God back to his rightful place. We all men ought to be obedient to our King, our Heavenly King. Because God reigns in heaven, and from the rising to the setting of the sun, we need to have his kingdom come again, don't we? Absolutely. Absolutely.

You know, they should have known back in there, back in 63. As Martin Luther had said, I am much afraid that schools will prove to be great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the holy scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the word of God must become corrupt.

Corrupt. For 50 years we've been preaching, people, if you love your children, get them out of the public schools, huh? Well, way back in the beginning, people were asked the source of the principles for the republic, and I gave a couple, but Noah Webster, the schoolmaster of America, defined all the words we use, said, Our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament, the covenant of God. Jedediah Moore, one of our other great educators, said this, Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present republican forms of government and all the blessings which flow from them must fall with them. We were warned by the people who put this government in place, what it would take to keep the republic, what would cause it to fall. We had so much wisdom, and what did they do?

They took it out of the public full system. That's why it became a full system, because all of the truth about the founding of the country, the ideas, the values, the principles the founders put into the Constitution, the Declaration, have all been removed from the hearts and minds of our children, our posterity. And then people will look around and go, How did we get here? Well, we kicked God out, we kicked everything out that the wonderful knowledge that our founders gave us, and we have that, for lack of knowledge, my people, what? My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, not because it wasn't given to them, but they rejected it, and that's why every day... Well, they not just rejected it, but they took it away from their posterity, and when you don't teach the children the values and principles and ideas that the nation has formed, what do you have left? You have ignorance, you have simple-minded ignorance, right? But you know what? We may be on the precip of a revival in America.

Tell them, John. Yeah, Pastor Ernie, I mean, we're looking at the way God is working in politics. It's incredible. I mean, not only what happened with Biden, but also the Supreme Court decisions. There's been a series now of Supreme Court decisions that are excellent. The way Kansas is requiring the Bible to be taught as American history in the schools and... Oh, that's Oklahoma.

Yeah, Oklahoma, excuse me. And then Louisiana with the Ten Commandments. But also, Pastor Ernie, there is just this, in my circles and all, I can see this change. People are realizing that there must be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We're seeing, like, kind of large baptisms, kids on college campuses coming to the Lord and getting baptized in Florida and Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, and other things that are encouraging. So I feel that God's beginning to arise in our midst, Pastor Ernie. We've been praying for revival for a long time.

A long time. Yeah. Folks our age, you and Joe, are not Wendy, because she's so much younger than us. Right, Wendy? Do we still have Wendy?

Yeah, I'm the youngin' here. Yeah, listen, every bit of beauty belongs to you, because there's none here. Right. So, anyhow... Something you were just saying, Patrick Henry, way back, he said, The great pillars of all government and of social life are virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone that rendered us invincible. And he went on to quote from Ephesians 6, verses 10 through 18, and if I'm not... Yes, I'm correct. The 10 through 18 is putting on the whole armor of God.

Right? Absolutely. You know, John, your prayer, that a number that we... I read it over the air.

I don't know if you knew that. No. Yeah, we closed one of the programs with your prayer, and already a number of people asked me, they wanted a copy. So we're going to actually send your prayer out in our next newsletter. Wow. Which goes, but of course, at the bottom of it, I changed it.

I'd written by Pastor Ernie Sanders. I took your name off. I don't care, as long as it gets out. As long as it gets out.

And the international scored it all out. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Anyhow, I was thinking, how much time do I have, Stile? Okay. Anyhow, that might be... Wendy, have you heard his prayer?

I don't know if I have. Well, maybe it would be good to close the program tonight, have John close with his prayer tonight. But we need to really keep things, to keep focus and keep praying for revival. We definitely need revival in this country, you know, because we're in very perilous times right now.

The vast majority of people out there, they know things are wrong, but the vast majority of them are totally clueless. I mean, we could be into a nuclear war, we could be, you know, what we have done is... What was it, Hezekiah, when he showed the Babylonians all of his treasures and all of his weapons and that. That's kind of what they've done here in America. China, Joe Biden, the Communist Party, the Democratic Communist Party has brought in our enemies.

Millions, millions we have here now, and he's brought in Joe Biden under the orders of the Chinese Communist Party, brought in terrorists, a lot of terrorists into this country. So America is standing, right now is a very foolish country, a very sinful country. America is a very, very sinful country, and America is standing right in the shadow of an angry God. And do you know what the... That is not a good place to be, is it? No, no, it's a fearful thing, a very fearful thing, Jonathan Edwards said, to fall into the hands of the living God. Living angry God.

Yep. And so, that's where we're at today, in America today. Well, one thing I'd like to ask the listeners, get in your Bible and start studying. When I started the Bible study tonight about where the founders got the principles for the government, if you go back and read in the Old Testament, the people, local government, had an honest money system based on gold and silver. Land was private stewardship, not owned by the government. Private property rights were protected. The rights of life and liberty were protected. Laws came in force when they were approved by the majority of the people, or the representatives. People were presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.

The code of justice was based on reparation to the victim. Absolutely. All the stuff that's important to us today, it's right there in the Old Testament, folks. They tell you, you don't need the Old Testament.

But I'll tell you what, the founding fathers found a wealth of knowledge there. Absolutely, Joe, it's time for John to close in prayer. All right, please. John, would you like to close in the prayer you wrote? Oh, yeah, Pastor Eddie.

Okay. It's cry unto the Lord, prayer covenant. Abba Father, we come before you in the precious name of the Lord Jesus, understanding the hour in which we live. We see the day of the Lord approaching, and we are crying out to you according to your word. We cry out in repentance for our sins and the sins of our nations. We cry out for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We realize that time is short before the Lord Jesus comes for his bride.

But according to your word, the outpouring of the Spirit will continue until he comes. We are humbled before you with the manifest sins of our nation, recognizing how this suspends your holiness. By faith, we ask for one more outpouring of the Holy Spirit, both to win untold numbers of souls for the Lord Jesus, and to hold back the terrible spirit of Antichrist. With this mighty outpouring, we ask for the healing of the brokenhearted, the opening of prison to them that are bound, and the setting of liberty to them that are bruised.

Abba, free us completely from the spirit of bondage and fear. Fill us with power, love, and a sound mind. Free us completely of unbelief, and have us grow mighty in faith to please you. In the past, you sent many great outpourings of the Holy Spirit, and we are asking our Abba for one more before the groom comes for his bride. The Church was birthed with the power of the Holy Spirit, and we want to go with you in that same power.

The great outpouring first came to Jerusalem. We beseech you for another great outpouring of your Spirit upon your people Israel, like you first sent 2,000 years ago. Abba Father, we love you as little children, and believe the Word with the same faith as children. We know when we ask our Abba that he hears us. Father, as the end grows near, it is like the days of Noah. To protect us from the wicked one, and from the love of the world, we come under the power and authority of your Word and your name.

We are growing close to you for protection, and asking that you heal us of all broken hearts of your people, along with freeing us from bondage so that the bride is ready for the groom. Amen. Amen.

Amen to that. Okay, we're going to have closing remarks, starting with Wendy. Wendy, you have a closing remark for Independence Day listeners? Yeah, I hope everybody has a very safe and healthy holiday, and they feel rested and closer to the Lord in great faith.

Thank you. Go ahead, Joe. My prayer and thought is that the people realize freedom is not free. We are going to have to fight for it. We are very, very close to losing it. And this Independence Day celebration, we better be thinking how we are going to keep freedom for our children and grandchildren, and realize we will have to pay a price to do it. All right.

John? Well, Pastor Ernie, I'm really thankful to the Lord for the government that was set up, because even as evil as it is now, it's still hard to break it, Pastor Ernie. The American Constitution is very unique with the Bill of Rights and all. So I'm very thankful to God for the three branches with the government and 50 states, because this has protected us.

Now, it has. But it's that spirit of 76 that, again, one nation under God that was founded the way. And America was great because she was good. The greatest nation on earth because she was good at one time. We've got to take her back.

We've got to take her back. And I guess that's what it's all about, because, well, I don't know. I can't guarantee that we will be here come the next Fourth of July.

And how much time do I have left? Well, we've come to that point where we always come to. And the most important thing, my wish for everybody out there, listen, folks, all of you out there, one day this is a fact, this is an absolute fact that the time will come when the only thing that will matter to you is your standing. You know, you're either going to be saved or unsaved when you die. And, folks, dying is not a tragedy to die in your sin.

It don't get any worse. So don't let that happen. You know what you have to do.

Call upon the name of the Lord. And so here as we get there, we're there where we're always at, saying good night, God bless, and you all ready? Ready. Okay. Well, this is when we always, we get to that point where we say, and always, always, always, listen to it. Keep fighting the fight.
