So go ahead and bring it up there, Ken. When we started to talk about the NDA's, and this is the very first meeting at the Regency Hotel, when by the way, Rudy Giuliani was not involved in representing Donald Trump at that time. Cohen testified that it was a conspiracy between Giuliani and Costello as of this date.
Totally false. In any event, he also said that he didn't discuss the Stormy Daniels matter with us, and he certainly did. I specifically asked him because he kept on going back saying, I can't believe they're trying to put me in jail for these NDA's. So I said, Michael, tell me about the NDA. Tell me about Stormy Daniels.
What did you do? He said, I got a call from from a lawyer representing Stormy Daniels who represented that she was going to testify that Donald Trump had sex with Stormy Daniels. Michael Cohen said, I didn't believe the allegation, but I knew that such an allegation would be terribly embarrassing. He said, it would be embarrassing. He focused on Melania Trump. He said, I didn't want to embarrass Melania Trump. He said, that's why I decided to take care of this on my own.
I went back to that several times. You did this on your own? On my own. Did Donald Trump have anything to do with it? No. Did you get the money from Donald Trump? No. From any of his organizations? No. From anybody connected to Donald Trump?
No. Where did you get the money? I took out a HELOC loan against my property. I said, why would you do that? He said, I didn't want anybody to know where I got this money. I didn't want Melania to know. I didn't want my own wife to know because she's in charge, he said, of the Cohen family finances.
He said, if she saw money coming out of my account, she'd asked me a hundred questions and I didn't want to answer any of them. It was clear after talking to him for several days after that, whenever we talked on the phone or in my office, that he kept on bringing up the subject that he felt he was betrayed by not being brought down to Washington DC. This guy thought, he said to me, that he should have been Attorney General of the United States or at least the Chief Assistant to the President. Ludicrous, but that's what he thought and he was very angry about that. He wanted to do something to put himself back into the inner circle of Donald Trump. That's why he took care of this on his own.
There had to be a motivation. Michael Cohen is always working for things that benefit himself and that's what he was doing here. That's completely different to what he said that he told the grand jury. That's completely different to what he's testifying to in New York.
Nobody has heard this side of the equation. It's important because this guy literally was suicidal at the moment. He's saying, guys, I need you to tell me what my escape route is. How do I get out of this oncoming legal deluge that I see coming my way? And so I said, look, it's simple. If you look at what happened here, the US Attorney went to great lengths to get a search warrant for your law office. They had to go to main justice.
They think you have something. Remember, he's telling us I didn't do anything illegal. Counts one through seven that he pled guilty to had nothing to do with Donald Trump. He said, I didn't do anything illegal and I've been cooperating with the special counsel.
I've been cooperating with Congress. Didn't tell us that he lied to Congress. I said, Michael, isn't it easier if you have something truthful? And I kept on repeating that. It's got to be truthful. Don't make something up. If you have something truthful on Donald Trump, isn't it easier for you to cooperate against Donald Trump than it is to kill yourself?
The answer is obvious. So when they claim that I was trying to shut up, Michael Cohen is exactly the opposite. I was on that first day telling him, here's your escape route if you have truthful information. But he didn't. I can show you emails and text messages and phone calls where he kept on saying, Bob, you guys are on the team, but I don't want to announce it now. He had McDermott, Will and Emery going through documents here in Washington, D.C. He said, I don't want to announce it now. We didn't give him a retainer agreement the first time we met him at the Regency Hotel.
We gave him a retainer agreement when he came to our offices. He came to our offices that he kept on saying, well, I can't deal with this now. The guy slow played us.
There's no question about it. And I told the partner in charge of this, he's slow playing us. Get rid of this guy. He's never going to come up with the money. He's a bad penny.
He's just going to keep on coming back. So it wasn't my call because it was his client, not my client. So that's why Michael kept on calling me and I was giving him the advice that I should have given him all along. Truthful advice.
Nobody was pressuring him. I was giving him the straight facts as I knew them. My obligation as a lawyer at that point in time was to explain to him what his options were. Clearly, one of his options was to cooperate. And I said to him, I said, Michael, the way this works is if you have truthful information about Donald Trump, that's clearly what they're looking for, I can have all your legal problems solved by the end of the week.
His response? I swear to God, Bob, I don't have anything on Donald Trump. I said, Michael, I want you to think carefully about this.
I probably came back to this subject 10 or 20 times during the two hour period. Every time I brought it up, every time he answered, I swear to God, God, excuse me, Bob, I don't have anything on Donald Trump. I said, Michael, whatever you have has to be truthful. If you think you can go in there and tell these people lies, you're crazy. It's going to backfire on you.
You can't do that. So do you have anything on Donald Trump? Probably the fifth or the sixth time I got around to doing that, he said, well, I know that money is missing from the Trump inaugural ball. I said, is Donald Trump involved in that? No.
Does Donald Trump know anything about that? No. I said, Michael, that's useless. You're not going anywhere with that. I'm trying, you asked me for your escape route.
I'm telling you your escape route. All you have to do is be truthful if you have some real evidence on Donald Trump. His litany was the same all the time.

Let's go back to the clip. Not now, nor have I ever been an attorney for Donald Trump, any of his family members or any of his businesses. I've represented quite a number of high profile individuals but never Donald Trump. During the period April 2018 to July 2018, I represented Michael Cohen. Today I can talk to you about what Michael Cohen told my law partner and me because Michael Cohen waived the attorney-client privilege at the request of the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. The reason was Michael Cohen had pled guilty to eight felony counts in the Southern District and was seeking to lessen his sentence and he thought he could be clever by going into the US Attorney's Office and lying about cooperation. Michael Cohen went to the US Attorney's Office and accused Rudy Giuliani and myself of conspiring to obstruct justice by tampering with a witness, namely Michael Cohen. The story which they were floating at the time and his lawyers put out in the various newspapers was that we had dangled a pardon under Michael Cohen's nose in order to keep him quiet so that he wouldn't testify against Donald Trump. When I received the call from the US Attorney's Office saying Bob we'd like to talk to you about your representation of Michael Cohen, I said to them can I presume that you guys are sitting there with a copy of the waiver of the attorney-client privilege and they said you presume correctly. We get it.
I told them that scan it over to me and once I received it I'd be delighted to talk to them and I did. I went down to one St. Andrews Plaza with a lawyer who had been the chief of the Criminal Division when I was deputy chief Tom Fitzpatrick and on the way into the office he said to me Bob aren't you nervous? I said what for? I'm gonna tell the truth and I have documentary evidence that corroborates me six ways from Sunday. I said there's nothing been nervous about and in fact I said I'll bet you ten dollars I'll have these people laughing within 15 minutes. I won the bet. I went up and I sat with two assistant US attorneys Tom McKay and Nick Rose as well as two FBI agents whose names unfortunately I don't remember.
We had a grand old time. I explained our entire history with Michael Cohen through emails and text messages. I explained the many many lies that Michael Cohen told us. Most especially I told them that when we first met Michael Cohen in April of 2018 and keeping in mind now that I read Michael Cohen's testimony from yesterday's trial in New York on the way down on the train and virtually every statement he made about me was another lie. A lie that can be proven not just by me denying it but by myself, Jeff Citron or Rudy Giuliani or emails or text messages. Virtually every statement that he made. What he tries to do is he picks out cherry picks certain emails or text messages and tries to make them look like something else. The story he told yesterday was that Rudy Giuliani and I were somehow conspiring to try and keep him quiet.
To try and keep him from flipping. That's the term we use in the trade for cooperating. That's ridiculous. The first day that we met with Michael Cohen at the Regency Hotel at his request and his email correspondence that show this.
We went up there. I had never met Michael Cohen before. I didn't have any idea who he was or what sort of problem he was in. I saw this guy in a conference room at the Regency Hotel marching back and forth like a tiger in a cage. He was absolutely manic. He looked like he hadn't slept in four or five days and he kept on. He knew my partner Jeff Citron for ten years.
I didn't know the guy. He kept on pounding on the table throughout his speeches that day. Guys, I want you to know I will do whatever the F I have to do.
I will never spend one day in jail. He had to say that at least ten times, maybe twenty. It was his constant litany as he walked back and forth. So I said, Michael, sit down. We need to discuss what's going on here. He told us about the raid, that his offices had been raided, his home had been raided, and he said, I didn't do anything wrong guys. I don't know what they're looking for.
And I said, Michael, the people in the Southern District of New York are very smart people. They got a search warrant for a lawyer's office. You can't do that just by going to the US Attorney. You need to go to Maine Justice and get approval from Maine Justice.

What is it? I said, this is protected by attorney-client privilege. And it was until he waived the attorney-client privilege. I swear to God, Bob, I didn't do anything wrong. In fact, I'm cooperating with the special counsel. I'm cooperating with Congress. Of course, he forgot to tell us that he lied to Congress. But that was part and parcel of the way Michael Cohen is. So I sat him down and I said, look, Michael, clearly here, you're not the target.
Nobody's ever heard of Michael Cohen. But you are the lawyer for President Trump. And clearly, that's their target. And let me explain to you how things work. When they get a search warrant, they're looking to gather evidence. They already have evidence against you for something, but you haven't told us what it is. And they are going to roll over you.
You're just a bump in the road. Their target is Donald Trump. So I want you to think carefully now. And by the way, up to this point, he had told us when when he introduced himself to us that two nights before, he was on the roof of the hotel of the Regency Hotel, seriously considering jumping off, committing suicide because he couldn't handle the pressure of the legal problems that he saw coming his way. And what he wanted to find out from us that day was his escape route.
That's what he called it. Guys, you have to tell me what my escape route is. What can I do to get out of this? And I did. My obligation as a lawyer at that point in time was to explain to him what his options were. Clearly, one of his options was to cooperate. And I said to him, I said, Michael, the way this works is if you have truthful information about Donald Trump, that's clearly what they're looking for, I can have all your legal problems solved by the end of the week.
His response? I swear to God, Bob, I don't have anything on Donald Trump. I said, Michael, I want you to think carefully about this.

So I provided all this material to Donald Trump's lawyers and I provided it to the Manhattan DA's office. And I asked for a meeting with district attorney Bragg because I wanted to go in there, let him look me in the eye and let me explain all of the stuff that we had on Michael Cohen that showed that he's an inveterate liar. The guy can't be trusted.
Bragg turned me down. But what he did say was, I'll let you have a meeting with the assistant district attorneys. Now, when the Trump people heard about all this, they insisted, as was a right under the law, that the DA put me before the grand jury. So that, I was scheduled for a Monday. On the Friday before, I gave the DA's office the courtesy of a Zoom conference for about an hour and a half.
Eight assistant district attorneys and me on the other end. I explained, they didn't really ask me any questions, they just said, what do you want to say? Nice warm greeting for somebody who's trying to show them the right path, quietly and privately, so that they could correct their error before they made it.

Yeah, a little bit. Yeah, but the point is, again, here's their witness. He gets right up, and they would not let this guy, they would not let him testify, okay? And, you know, because, again, it's the whole, what do you, the whole thing was nothing but a kangaroo court. This Alvin Bragg is as corrupt as corrupt gets. They wanted that results no matter what, at any cost and lie if you can, absolutely. That's what they call law affair.

One is, people need to understand there's so much going on, and one of them, this weekend in Texas, they were having a Juneteenth celebration. Well, two groups started shooting, and two innocent people were killed, had nothing to do with the problem, the altercation. It started 14 others wounded.
We've been seeing stories like this over and over and over again. Two groups of people from the news, both basically black, one was about a 20-year-old black suspect. They're offering a large reward for him, but they started a gun battle in the middle of a group of people having a celebration. And I thought, this is the kind of thing America is turning into, folks, and it's going to continually get worse if we don't re-establish law and order. Joe, the Democratic Communist Party want to confiscate the government.
They want to disarm the American people. Now, what they're doing is this. George Soros bought and paid for prostitutes, called prosecutors. They're being so light on crime. They're not punishing a criminal. They're punishing the victim, which makes the criminal much more brazen out there.
You pretty much can know that in Chicago, you can kill some people and probably walk away, not even get prosecuted. The same thing with Elvin Bregg. You know, the worst people, the worst offenders, he just turns, looks the other way. This is, Cottonwell was headed to the point, it was kind of like Nazi Germany back what Hitler was doing.
He was stirring up chaos, and he promised on his election campaign that he gets, you know, put as chancellor, he would put a halt to the problems. And the other story that went, California Secret Service agent robbed at gunpoint during President Biden's trip there. He was one of the heightened security people, and while he was robbed at gunpoint, while he was off work right there in California. So if they robbed Secret Service agents that are armed and get away with it, no wonder the average citizen is getting a little nervous about crime in America. And I know many Americans now sincerely believe, and with good reason, that in light of the ongoing lawfare against President Trump, the judicial process itself is indeed compromised and undeserving of public trust. If these Americans are spreading what Garland thinks are conspiracy theories for the purpose of persuading our countrymen that the Justice Department is untrustworthy, that's there and our right as Americans. And it brings me right back to, you know, the First Amendment, which it's getting trampled on.
The things that Garland is doing, bragging even with the whole prosecution of President Trump is incredible. You know, we as Americans have to stand up for our First and Second and Third and Fourth Amendments, but the First is like the cornerstone of our institution and our rights. And it provides us that Congress will make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise of religion. But it also protects our freedom of speech, which is so vital today more than ever. I never thought in my lifetime that freedom of speech in the United States of America would be trampled on, especially like it is right now. And the freedom to assemble like these June 6ers, it is the most travesty that in my lifetime I've ever witnessed being perpetuated on American people, like what's going through this Jake Lang guy. Unbelievable. He tried to be a hero and he tried to do the right thing.
And this poor guy has just been put in some of the most despicable conditions that any American in my lifetime has gone through. So it's that word lawfare just jumped off the pages to me, Pastor. All right.
Very good. Well, again, but I'm noticing the people are finally waking up. They're seeing this and what's happening too. We're going to be playing a clip probably tomorrow and I'm going to be talking about some election fraud here in a minute. And I keep hearing people saying and again today, there's going to be a red wave.
There's going to be a red wave. They're looking at the polls and this and that. Remember, they did that before in 2020.
Remember? And what happened, folks, again, the Democrats by their very nature are corrupt today to be. It's not like the old Democrats, you know, you could. They weren't all bad, right? Right. Jack Kennedy today would be seen as a conservative, you know, very conservative.
No, he was pro-life and all that. But today they're not. They're corrupted. They're pretty much to be a Democrat today.
You have to be pretty much completely corrupted. Yeah. And you know, you stop and think and you say there has to be some good people in there, but they're all keeping the party line. So even if they don't agree with it, they're not going to kick kick at the party line and they're going to keep that party line. And that's what's damaging this country so badly. But now they're having a real big problem because the economy is so bad in a lot of their areas and they know that they're not going to be reelected.
So now they're saying, we got to do something. And now Joe Biden is he's getting worse every day. Pastor, I just heard his approval rating is, they say 30 percent. If I had to bet my life on it, I'd say it's 10 percent. But even if we go with the 30 percent numbers that have just recently been projected, that is the lowest projected approval rating in the history of the United States presidency. I know that.
And if you and if you put incompetency on that list, he probably was the most incompetent president in the history of the United States. But if he can fix the ballot boxes, they don't care. Yeah.
That's what they did in 2000. He's given these orders here. You know, I'm you know, when I want to go after someone, I want to go after those that have done wrong.
Right. But I don't I don't want to go after Biden for his physical and mental condition, because that's not something he can help. He's he is senile.
The man is senile. Let's face it. And that's not you know, it's not something that, you know, he can help. But it's an embarrassment when, you know, when we send him out there in other countries like this G7 thing and he's wandering around, not knowing where he's at, they've been showing on the news. He again last night, he got lost and Obama had to help him down off the stage. And of course, everything that's been done has really come from Obama is really come right.
Obama is still running the thing. These are remember Biden's wife is there encouraging. She enjoys being first lady and I she knows what's going on with her husband. She's the one that keeps pushing him out there. And a lot of blame goes to her for the.
She just she can't love him that much. She has to love the power and position more than her husband. I think the blame I think the blame goes to Congress, because when you see a man who is senile and incompetent and is not in a position to lead the United States of America, he should be up for impeachment because he doesn't have the faculties to be president of the United States.
Or that what is it, the 25th Article 25. You know, you were saying his ratings low, but looking at a headline, Melinda Gates reveals who she's voting for and it's not Donald Trump. And she's going to go out there and join the campaign trail and take her checkbook. So you've got some crazy people that are going to push, you know, Joe Biden, dementia and all.
The narrative is the only thing power is the only thing that matters to the Democrats. And she has to spend the big chunk of her billions. That's what she's claiming she's going to do. She is wickedly, wickedly, wickedly pro-death, pro-abortion. Pro-death. People like that are not a big part of the death motion. She needs repentance. She needs salvation, but she's heading the wrong direction.
Shame her parents didn't believe in that. I truly believe that something is going to happen either right before the debate with Donald Trump, because Donald Trump's going to chew him up. It's going to be like a college professor. Well, now that they've changed it. I have an article over here saying that Joe Biden is going to have to stand for an hour. No, he's not.
They've changed the rules now. They're going to be sitting instead of standing at the debate. He can sit for an hour. Donald Trump will chew him up and we'll be paying close attention to his ears.
Like what kind of little earbud is in there where he's getting fed the words to say he's not fit to be president of the United States. I think what's going to happen is after that election, he's going to step down and then they're going to be scrambling to put in somebody else to run against him. Well, they've already planned on taking down their convention and they say that actually they're going to, in this month, before this month is over, they're going to try to replace him.
I think so. I think they put the debate so early. Remember, this is the earliest they've ever had a presidential debate.
You have to ask why did they do that? And I think the whole idea, if Biden can hold his own in the debate, they'll keep him going. And if he falters, looks horrible, does badly, he's going to be replaced. This is how they decide what to do. Well, we'll know this if all of a sudden he's acting like he's 20 or 30 years younger now and he's back because they do have a double that they've been using for him. I mean, it's not a secret. It's pretty well known. And we'll find out who shows up there. Well, they do also have some drugs, but from what I've read, they can only use them very rarely because the more they're used, they quit working shortly.

While you're talking about children here, I have this one from Massachusetts House unanimously passed a bill to allow women to sell their babies to highest bidder. Massachusetts is one of the blue corrupt, a very, very corrupt country. Under the current state laws, paid and traditional surrogacy is permitted, but for traditional surrogacy, and would-be parents must adopt the baby and therefore pass the background check. Additionally, at last, one of the parents must be related to the infant, but now they've passed this bill that allows them to sell their babies. However, adoption protection child from abuse due to regulations that involved in the process, there is research on the negative outcomes of children who live with non-biological relative parent figures. And it goes into a lot of the statistics as far as what happens to these children and that.
But now they're allowed to sell their babies to the highest bidder. There you go, folks. We are exactly where God's Word of the Bible said we would be when he said that the last days you would see these things happening and we're there. That's the timeline. The next thing to happen, the next major thing would be the rapture of the church. Along with the children thing, you're absolutely right about the next thing that will happen, Pastor. But it says a couple sues after being kicked out of the state foster care program over Christian beliefs. Yeah. Again, you're seeing these people that are anti-Israel are also very much anti-Christian. And this is in Vermont.
Yeah. As it goes on, according to the complaint filed by the federal court, they allege that the Vermont Department of Children and Family refused to renew their foster care licenses because of their opposition to DCF's policy regarding sexual orientation and gender identity. You know, when all of us were growing up and you go to college, you graduate, you get into the job world, across the board, every state in the country, your education, your intellect, your intelligence, how you carried yourself, it was all the litmus test for getting hired. And there were two genders when we were growing up.
First off, I have to admit I was wrong. I was taught that there were two genders and I have to honestly admit to all of our listeners, I have been educated. We have three genders and the sooner we realize that we have three genders, the better off we'll be. We've got male men, we've got female women, and we've got mentally ill or sick people. And they are not getting positions in some governments because of their intellect, because of their resume, because of their experience. It's because of this DEI, which is unbelievably corrupt, unconstitutional, and it goes against everything Christians stand for, everything good people.
I know hundreds of people who are good people and are not Christians, and they are fed up being force fed DEI. It's unbelievable. But I apologize to the people that think there's just two genders.
We have to admit there's three genders now. Insane. All right, the mentally ill. Well, the mentally ill are there because of sin. Pastor Ernie and I for years have been saying this is a revolution, but underneath it, it's a spiritual battle. It's the Christ versus the Antichrist system. Pastor Ernie, you remember way back years ago, you and I brought on the radio cultural Marxism and talked about it, how we found it on the Democrat Socialist of America's website back in the 90s, right?
Right. We sent out about a million of those 45 current communist goals. Headlines today. Socialist group that staged Ivy League walkouts called for D dot dot dot dot to America and Israel. They're calling for Def 2. They just skipped the word. They just had the D with the dots, but they're saying Def 2 America, the chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, called for Def presumably to America and Israel. Well, during their disruption of an Ivy League commencement there at Dartmouth College on Sunday, a lot of the graduating seniors walked out of the ceremony on the president's speech to him and chanting different things. And they ended the big caption on the words, Palestine will be freed in our lifetime, Def 2 America and Israel. This is what's happened with our children.
You were talking about where they've gone. You could call them mentally ill or I call them spiritually ill because they have been brainwashed. They believe that the extermination of the Jewish race is a good thing and they're chanting Def 2 America to our way of life, our constitutional republic, our constitution based on what?
The Ten Commandments and the teaching of the New Testament. So you can see it is the Christ system against the Antichrist system. One just says they are DSA, Democratic Socialists. But what are they? They're Antichrist. They are for death. They are for destruction.
They are for chaos, not for love, peace and mercy and salvation. There you have it. That's the battle.

What do you have? One thing, a reminder. J.M. Phelps is talking about what's going on right now over in Afghanistan. And early this month, a AMU TV reported former employee of the U.S. Embassy there in Kabul died. This gentleman, Ahmed Farid Irfani, died at the hands of the Taliban. Family members, quote, huge block letters, who wished to remain totally anonymous, reported that he had told them that he was beaten, forcibly taken away by the Taliban, who tortured him through the night. They saw him and his body had marks from rifle butts and gun barrels and some other torture I don't want to mention on the radio, and he died on the way to a hospital.
And the family members, a couple of them, got some pictures of some of the damage. At the time of his arrest, he was carrying documents to obtain a special immigration visa, SIV. He'd been trying to get the special immigration visa now for, what, well over a year or two years now, and he's been denied twice. When the Taliban found out that he had been a former translator, he was taken away that night, beaten to the point that he died en route to the hospital. And as I read through the story, they think that up to a thousand people, this one gentleman who's been in Afghanistan, he said, I know the number is more than a thousand who have been arrested, tortured, and killed, and the number is still growing every day. Those that the U.S. left behind, these Afghan interpreters, others who worked with the United States there helping them, they got left behind. And Biden's withdrawal, they talked about how bad it was, but we've now had all these people killed because they were left behind. And the State Department has been granting these people who worked for our government there for years visas. I wonder why. The ones who are loyal to the U.S. don't get visas, but he's letting in, according to other reports I have, Biden officials have let in 12,000 risky migrants.

Well, there's a good Baptist hymn, Fight the Good Fight. Fight the good fight with all thy might. Christ is thy strength and Christ thy right. Lay hold on life and it shall be thy joy and crown eternally. Run thou the race through God's good grace. Lift up thine eyes and seek his face. Life with its way before us lies. Christ is the path and Christ the prize.
Cast care aside. Lean on thy guide. Thy every need he will provide.
Trusting in him will ever prove. Christ is thy life, thy hope, thy love. Faint not fear. Faint not fear.
His arms are near. He changeth not and thou art dear. Only believe and thou shall see that Christ is all in all to thee. The answer to all of the problems of this world.
Really? Jesus Christ. Whatever problem you're having in life, Christ at the end is the answer. When I was born again and found Christ and gave myself to him, I found peace. I found joy.
I found happiness. Was life easy? No. Did I have still some severe problems I was handling?
Yes. But my attitude and everything in handling life's problems changed because of the Christ that dwelled in me through the Holy Spirit. We all are sinners. Scripture tells us that we all sin.
There's no one out there except Christ who lived a perfect life. And the wages of sin are death. We're told very clearly by God. And then we're also told that except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God because sin can't exist in the presence of a holy God. Romans 5-12, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, so death passed upon all men, for that all have sin. God has to punish sin.
John 3-36 says, And he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. You see, the only way to salvation is through the Savior. God's gift to us is eternal life, an absolutely free gift. Romans 6-23, But the gift of God is eternal life, but it's what? Through Christ Jesus our Lord.
He is the way to eternal life. Romans 10 9-13, 9-13 kind of explains, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed, for there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. For the same Lord over all is rich, and to all of them that call upon him, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. We are to call upon God. We are to confess that we're a sinner, that we're sorry that he had to place his Son on that cross at Calvary to pay the price for our sins. Jesus did a substitutionary death.
He took my place. He took Pastor Ernie's place and he went to the cross and died and paid the price for our sin. But when we call upon God the Father, we repent those sins, we will be forgiven by God.
If we do it from the heart, not just words, but if we truly understand our sin caused his death and we repent, we will be forgiven. And then we can call upon Jesus Christ and we can call upon him to become Lord of our life, to become our Lord and Savior. But we have to give ourself to him completely, without reservation. We have to make him first in our life.
A lot of people don't want to do that. But when you make him first, everything else, folks, falls in place. It finds its proper place. Your marriage, everything else, your children, your relationship with other people, it all falls in place when you put Jesus first. And then you become this born-again believer because Jesus gives you the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
You become a son or daughter of the living God, you become a joint heir with Jesus in everlasting life, and you become this new creation, a new spiritual birth, and that is becoming a born-again believer. And it's a decision only you can make, nobody else can do it for you, going to church won't work, other people can't get you there. So we're out of time for tonight, folks.
